Earlier in the week, Trinity Thompson and Rian Ellis agreed to work out together. When Rian walked into the training area, Trinity Thompson was bent over, stretching out. Rian stopped in his tracks and watched her for quite a bit before clearing his throat and startling her.
Rian Ellis:
Nice stretches. You’re definitely flexible, which can help in so, so many ways.
Trinity rolled her eyes at the new addition to the Academy and her partner in this week’s tag team match.
Trinity Thompson:
You’re so silly… Did you come here to train together or are you settling with just watching?
The purple haired girl stuck out her tongue and went back to her warm-up stretches.
He laughed lightly before shrugging his shoulders.
Rian Ellis:
I’m here to train but if you’re going to keep on stretching like that, you’re going to make it hard!
At this point Trinity couldn’t resist and bursted out laughing. She walked past Rian, grabbing a bottle of water and taking a sip, pouring the rest of the content on the new student’s head.
Trinity Thompson:
There, that should cool your spirits.
She managed to say amidst laughter. Rian gasped in surprise as he stood there, soaking wet.
Rian Ellis:
Oh you’re so done for! I’m going to get you wet now too!
She grabbed her and gave her a big hug to get the water that’s now on him on her.
Rian Ellis:
You asked for this, punk!
Trinity tried to wiggle free from his hug, only managing to slip one arm out and place it on his shoulder. Wrestling a little bit more she put enough space between them to pivot and take him down with a hip toss. Rian was down on his back and quickly Trinity pinned him down by placing a knee on his solar plexus.
Trinity Thompson:
Nice try, rookie.
She said jokingly to the last student to join The Academy. Rian groaned as he looked at her knee that was pinning him down.
Rian Ellis:
Well, training hasn’t started off too well for me but I blame the water! It’s made me slippery and off my game! You’re cheating, Trinity! How dare! Now let me up so I can show you how I’m going to beat up Cash and Kid!
Thompson smiled down at him, taking her knee off his chest and offering him her hand to help him up.
Trinity Thompson:
Cheating? No sir, you’re the one who blindsided me, I was just defending myself!
Rian Ellis:
After you doused me with water!
He exclaimed as he grabbed her hand and stood up.
Rian Ellis:
But I like it! We can do something like that to Kid and Cash, preferably Kid. Maybe get him with a little bit of pocket sand? You know what I’m saying? Maybe black mist even! Do you know where we can get black mist? My green mist guy won’t answer his phone.
Trinity was laughing with him, shaking her head.
Trinity Thompson:
Unfortunately not, but I have a lot of hair dye, various colors too! We can look it up on the internet, I’m sure there is a “How To Make Black Mist” tutorial on YouTube.
She grabbed a clean towel and tossed it to her future tag partner.
Trinity Thompson:
But all jokes aside, promise me you’re not going to try anything fancy out there. Nobody likes a cheater…
She paused for a moment, scratching her head.
Trinity Thompson:
Well, I guess some might like em, but I want to win clean. I believe in you and in us, we got this… If we actually manage to get some real training in!
Rian laughs and nods his head.
Rian Ellis:
Fine fine! I’m not super big on cheating anyway, seriously.
He wiped himself off with the towel before throwing it to the side.
Rian Ellis:
I want to win this one legit too. It is my big debut, after all. So I’m counting on you to look good but also to make me look good! Though we already look good together right now.
Rian couldn’t help but smirk. Trinity let this one slide, acting like she didn’t hear the last part of his sentence.
Trinity Thompson:
I’ll do my best, that’s all I can promise. The Kid is very fast and dangerous and Cash has improved so much already in the short time she’s been here. It’s going to be a toughie, but if we are on the same page, we definitely have a chance.
Rian gets serious as he listens and nods.
Rian Ellis:
You’re right. Let’s get on the same page then. I’m ready to put in the work, so let’s get it. No holding back though. We got this.
Trinity agrees with Rian and the two start their training together when the feed cuts away.
The Lunchroom

Lunch time at the Academy and for once Olly wasn’t late. He was actually second in line right behind Faizah, something that, apparently, only happens on a specific day.
Laura:
Olly! You’re here early, and it’s not even Pizza day..
The lunch lady Laura welcomed the student with a smile, serving some soup to him.
Olly:
What do you mean no pizza? Damn, I can’t believe I got my days mixed up like this?
Laura shook her head, serving him some steak and potatoes as well.
Laura:
I know you well, Oliver. If you’re here so early, you must be up to something.
Olly:
Who, me?
He answered, pretending to be shocked.
Olly:
I’m an absolute angel, you should know that! And since I’m such a good boy, can I have some extra…
Laura didn’t even let him finish, shaking her head and telling him to move on, Olly winked at the lunch lady and walked away, heading back to the tables. The room was empty as all the students were still in line, patiently waiting for their food. Oliver could have sat down wherever he wanted, but he chose Faizah’s table instead.
Olly:
May I?
He asked as he sat down in front of a surprised Faizah, who was probably holding the spot for her friend Millie, without even waiting for her reply.
Faizah Marshall:
Sure. I don’t mind.
Olly:
You’re quite the mystery, aren’t you? Always so reserved, you barely hang around with the rest of us… Well, except for Millie… Want some water?
He randomly asked as he filled his glass. Faizah nodded at Olly.
Faizah Marshall:
I would love some, thanks for the offer. I just didn’t think anyone really liked me. Everyone has cliqued up, ya know. Trying not to ruffle any feathers. Keep my head down. Do the work. Avoid the chaos... there is a lot of it around here.
Faizah chuckled briefly thinking about all the fun that has put the Academy on the map.
Olly:
I think I may have played a part on that, my bad..
He said with a chuckle, shrugging his shoulders lightly.
Olly:
I don’t know about people not liking you. You may not be the most popular, but at least you’re not Dez...
Faizah Marshall:
Thank God for that!
Faizah smiled.
Faizah Marshall:
Faith doesn’t like me. Eh. She doesn’t like most people. I won’t take that with a badge of honor. Anyway. You did say I’m a mystery. Is there anything you would like cleared up?
For a few long seconds Olly just stared at the Original BAE without saying a word.
Olly:
I can read the others pretty well, but you.. It’s probably because we never really talked, so I’m trying to change that.
Taking a sip of water he continued.
Olly:
You and Faith really didn’t really connect, huh? I don’t even remember why, but you pretty much have been at odds since day one..
Faizah sighed.
Faizah Marshall:
Yeah... can you do me a favor? Can we please not talk about her? She probably forgot I exist. I prefer to keep it that way.
Olly raised his hands.
Olly:
Fair enough. It’s kinda weird though, you’re on the same team and I’m not saying you two have to be best friends, just look at me and Dez… But still, considering her influence and personality, I don’t think hiding is really the best course of action for you...
Faizah took a moment to process what Olly has said. She briefly looked down at her food, then back at Olly. She shrugged.
Faizah Marshall:
I guess... you do raise a fair point. I don’t know what to do. Feels nice sliding under the radar. Unsure if I am ready to put myself out there like that.
The young man nodded, keeping his eyes on his fellow student in front of her.
Olly:
No, no… I get it. Staying away from all the drama, not getting into troubles with anyone… That surely has to feel good. You work hard in the gym, you learn the same things we all do, you have your circle of friends.. I just don’t think you really want to stay under the radar for too long.
The tone of his voice became more serious now.
Olly:
We’re here to make a name for ourselves, to emerge… Any single one of us could’ve gone to one of the millions wrestling schools to learn the craft. But we choose to leave our families and friends behind to come here because it’s a huge opportunity to get people to notice us. You don’t want to be the next Braxton, do you?
Faizah narrowed her eyes. Clearly Olly’s words elicited a visceral reaction from her.
Faizah Marshall:
Hell no! Me and Braxton’s name doesn’t belong in the same sentence. No chance in hell I am going to become the next her!!
She rolled her eyes as a resting bitch face settled in.
Faizah Marshall:
I can’t wait... screw it. I am going to demand a singles match. Against who... I’ll figure that out later. As nice as these tag matches have been, love Millie, I am more than a woman who faces her good friend all the time. Hello. I am The Best At Everything... supposed to be. I don’t even get mentioned in the best of the Academy conversation. You, Dez, Tiana and Faith more than earned a shot on Coup Da Grâce, sure, I wish I was competing on the big stage. Knowing that the four of you get to do that and not me? I have no one to blame but myself there. You know what Olly--
Faizah slammed her hand palm first on the table.
Faizah Marshall:
-- you’re right, we all sacrificed a lot to be here. From this point forward, I am going to do whatever it takes to ensure that the spotlight is on me!
Olly looked around, Faizah’s fist on the table surely didn’t go unnoticed and everyone’s eyes were on them now.
Olly:
That’s what I’m talking about! And... I think I might know a way we can make your star truly shine.
Pointing both hands on the table he stood up from his chair and leaned forward, whispering something he clearly didn’t want the cameras to catch to the young girl’s ear. Faizah listened carefully to whatever he was telling her, until Olly finally sat back in his place.
Olly:
Don’t take it the bad way, it’s just friendly advice.
Faizah nodded.
Faizah Marshall:
I know. Thanks Olly.
Oliver smiled back at her.
Olly:
Don’t mention it. It was a pleasure getting to know you a little better. And thank you for listening.
After speaking those words, Olly went back to his lunch and Faizah did the same, leaving the other students and the audience wondering what Oliver told her, and why he decided to keep it secret.
The Lunchroom

1:10 PM
In The Academy's cafeteria, Millie Smith has found herself a seat near one of the load bearing pillars to be a little hidden from some people. Rather than get something from the food being served, Millie opted for some student life ramen while she watches the latest MWE show on her phone. Her blonde hair straightened and features a little hair clip with her favourite Disney character, Stitch. A black tee under her soft orange hoodie, unzipped at the moment with some of her hand lost into the sleeve.
Quite evidently fresh from the gym, Tiana strolled herself into the cafeteria on a mission. She weaved her way through students and staff, making her way to the serving area where she was quick to load up on a bit of everything. She pushed back through, plopping herself in the first open seat she could get to, digging into her lunch as if she hadn’t just had a meal a few hours prior. She finally looked up long enough to realize she wasn’t alone, taking note of Millie with a smile.
She brushed some of her sweat matted hair away from her face, nodding toward her soon to be opponent.
Tiana:
Hey, Mil.
Millie Smith:
Hey hey.
Millie softly greeted Tiana back. She looked at the meal she's collected and compared it to what her opponent has got, and assumed Tiana had put in a very intense workout.
Millie Smith:
How are you?
Tiana:
Hungry.
She shoved a bit of chicken into her mouth, chewing it down quickly.
Tiana:
Gotta work my butt off to take you on, you handed me my first loss. You and Trin, it’s like night and day where you are now to where you were when we started.
Millie took a sharp breath in at the generous compliment T had just given her but didn't want to smile too wide incase she had something in her teeth.
Millie Smith:
Thank you, but you're still the hard-hitting student in the ring and the gym.
Millie references to the loud almost thunder clap like kicks Tiana could dish out and promptly promoted on social media.
Millie Smith:
It's just us this time too.
Tiana:
I haven’t been beaten until you did it, and doing it once means you can definitely do it again. I gotta learn some new tricks and watch some more tape.
She smiled again, but quickly went back to her food, taking a fork full of rice and veggies into her mouth.
Tiana:
I was just talking to Olly, he thinks this shouldn’t be happening right now. That I shouldn’t have to earn my way onto that preshow card, but the fact of the matter is it wouldn’t sit well with me if you didn’t get a shot at the Gold Star after you pinned me. Don’t matter that it was a tag match.
She stared down at her near empty plate, chucking softly to herself. She stared back up at Millie shrugging her shoulders slightly.
Tiana:
You earned it as well as anyone else has, and I dang sure won’t underestimate you. I’m looking forward to taking you on one on one.
Millie was blushing by this point at how much her opponent was holding her in a high regard. She stirred her bowl a little, nervously trying to manage all this niceness and a strange bubble of confidence coming over her.
Millie Smith:
I'm looking forward to taking you on as well. You're the Gold Star, it's the biggest challenge ever.
Millie's eyes widened a little and then she looked off, then down at her lap and back to Tiana.
Millie Smith:
Is it scary? Being the Gold Star...a lot of people this week have wished me luck in being Gold Star Millie…
As she lightly squeezeed her own thigh under the table, worried about the pressure the title will bring after the incident with losing the tag titles several shows ago.
Tiana nodded along, biting her lip as to not finish up the last of her food too quickly.
Tiana:
It’s not scary, it’s an honor, but there’s a ton of pressure, at least for me. It’s extra baggage, you carry around the title of being the Gold Star, and people look at you like you’re the best. You have to always give it your all, and lead by example, and I try my best to do that every time we’re in the classroom, or in the gym, or in the ring.
She flashed a quick smile to Millie, but it quickly faded as she looked back down.
Tiana:
When you’re at the top, you have to worry about everyone coming for you. Not just your enemies, but your friends too. It makes every win feel amazing, but every loss is going to sting more, too.
Millie took that personal experience very seriously and nodded to show she understands and gets it.
Millie Smith:
That's what I thought it would be like...it might sting a lot on a super show too…
She expressed a worry about heading into the supershow pre-show, the same show her siblings are working on too, and ate a little comfort Ramen.
Tiana:
It’s the high of a win that makes it worth taking the risk, though. When your hand is raised at the end, there’s nothing like that feeling.
She reached her hand across the table, offering it to her forthcoming opponent with a grin.
Tiana:
So you don’t hold back, you bring everything you got and find what you didn’t know you had, because you’re going to need every bit of it. I’m gonna bring it, Mil, as hard as I can.
Millie reached forward to take her opponents hand and gently squeezed back to make that promise.
Millie Smith:
Ok, if you insist.
Millie said with a little humour in her tone, before she gave Tiana a nod that showed she will take their match extremely serious and won't take the opportunity for granted.
Millie Smith:
I'll try 100% to be Gold Star Millie, because I know you'll fight hard to stay Gold Star Tiana.

6:27 PM
The Kid was sitting down at a table with a bunch of dollar bills next to him. He smirked as he looked at the camera that he asked to come listen to him speak.
The Kid:
Yo! It’s your favorite Kid! Me and Cash are here to talk!
The Kid grabbed the cash and held it up.
The Kid:
Well, she couldn’t be here because she’s watching Queen’s Gambit or something, so this money is representing her! Because she’s cash money baby!!!
Kid laughed before he continued on.
The Kid:
We’ve both been grinding hard this week though, getting ready for this tag match against Trinity and that noob named Rian. Nobody even likes that idiot! But he’s lucky Trinity is nice to everyone, even PERVS!
The Kid rolled his eyes.
The Kid:
Cash and I are now a well oiled machine and we can’t be stopped. We won’t be stopped! I promise we’ve been at this all week! And the results are going to show! I’ve been working extra hard lately because I do have a legacy to continue…
He paused.
The Kid:
Crap. I’ve said enough. Time to go!
Kid gets up and almost leaves his money but he turns and grabs it before walking out of the scene.
