Kidnapped, beaten, embarrassed, it was a long rough night for the twenty year old Dez Ali. Stuck in his mind, being reminded over and over is The Tattooed Angel landing the look leather strap on to his bear back. He stairs in the mirror and sees the bruises from the severe lashes and punches he received from the man who promised to torment and punish him for trying to expose The Masked Angel. The Masked Angel is no more, thanks to Dez, but at what cost. The Tattooed Angel was awoken and now Dez Ali is regretting every it. As he here someone coming into the lockerroom, Dez Ali (wearing grey shorts, white Nike sneakers) quickly pulls down his plain white t-shirt, which covers the markings on his body. Not in the mood to speak to anyone, he quickly moves in an opposite direction, avoiding the person who just entered the locker room. Dez makes his exit and takes a big sigh. Usually he uses the steps, it's a good exercise, but being battered and bruise, he is not up for it. Dez uses the elevator, heading to the top floor where his room is. As he exits the elevator, instead going down the hall towards his room, he opens door with a sign saying KEEP OUT. Dez ignores the sign and makes his way up a stair case, opens the door and he's now at the roof top. He smiles and heads over an area, where he takes a seat and enjoys the view, a moment, not disturbed by any one. Bing!!! He hears his phone. He takes it out if his jeans pocket and see a message from The Tattooed Angel. He opens to read it and it says "You're on illegal grounds bro, get your ass back down and go speak to your dad, he's waiting for you in your room." Strange, Dez thought, he spoke to his father earlier, what the hell does he want know. This is what is going through the busy mind Dez, as he gets up and makes his way back down. He makes his way to his room and enters. As be close the door, he is grabbed from behind and pushed on the bed. As Dez looks around he sees The Tattooed Angel Karib Trinidad (wearing a black hoodie, black Levi's jeans and black Under Armour sneakers) standing in his room. Dez looks to get up, but with a stern hard voice Trinidad tells him to remain seated. Which Dez nervously does as Trinidad grabs a chair and sits down.
Dez Ali: Where's dad?
Karib Trinidad: Now if I told you I was waiting in your room, would be here?
Dez looks down not answering the question.
Karib Trinidad: Exactly.
Dez Ali: How, ummm, how did get in here?
Karib Trinidad: Just like I got into the gym and abducted you earlier.
Dez Ali: Why are you here?
Karib smiles as he leans back on the chair.
Karib Trinidad: What are you the FBI? You ask too many questions, kid, and that could get you in a lot of trouble.
Dez Ali: Like last night?
Karib Trinidad: There you go again with another question.
As he says this, The Tattooed Angel stands up, clearly frustrated with all of Dez questions. Dez moves backwards on the bed, still traumatized from his abduction and lesson learnt. Trinidad notices this.
Karib Trinidad: Relax. You got a match to prepare for, I'm not going to use you as a punishing bag or beat you like government mule.
Dez Ali: You said you wasn't done with and there will be more.
Karib Trinidad: I tend to keep my words.
Dez Ali: I'm sorry really I am. I'm sorry for everything. I'm young and I was stupid.
Karib looks at Dez who is looking down at the bed he sits. Karib walks over to the bed, as Dez notices, it was too late. Karib Trinidad, held him and pulled him off the bed. Dez tries to fight back, and receive one punish, less harder than the ones he received early to his side to the ground as Karib pulls him back to his feet. He brings the twenty year old in front of the mirror.
Karib Trinidad: Talking down yourself will not be tolerated and this has earned one trip to our remote area.
Dez did not take this as good news as he looks down, instead straight ahead at his reflection. Karib slaps him behind his head.
Karib Trinidad: Eyes on your reflection.
Dez Ali: I'm sorry.
Karib Trinidad: You don't get it. You just don't get it, but you will. ......I've been monitoring you. One reality check and you become all sad, depressed, apathetic, and anti social. If I didn't know any better, you're starting to remind me of your good friend Olly.
Dez Ali: I'll never be that loser.
Karib Trinidad: And that is what all of this is all about. It's about you finding your real self, falling in line and walking the same part your dad walked. He paid me a lot of money, a lot, to make sure his son doesn't end up being the black sheep in the family and I will do whatever it takes, whatever it takes to make sure you one day become a champion. Until then, might not like me, but my methods will work.
Karib leaves him go, but Dez has not moved from where he is standing.
Dez Ali: Like my father, you're a hypocrite.
Karib turns around and stare at Dez.
Dez Ali: My dad says, he picked me first because I'm the best. Yet he acknowledged Olly better than me on a night Olly gets kicked from in ring action and I win the titles for the team. Then you tell me, you wants what is best for me, but you kidnap me, tied me down, hurt me worse than classmates, leave marks on my body on the same day I have to compete. Are you that stupid?
Dez takes a big gulp, this is what he's been wanting to say to Karib and his father, but held it in. Karib walks up to Dez and places his hand on the twenty year old's shoulder.
Karib Trinidad: So you got it off your chest. Yuh feel good? ......Now your little outburst is going to cost you big time. Along with your moment of depression. You'll be begging me to stop kid, waterboarding isn't a nice experience, but don't forget this moment, when you had to balls to talk up to me. .....Oh yeah, good luck with your match. I'll be pulling for yuh.
With that The Tattooed Angel places the hood of his black hoodie o we his head and makes his exit. A frustrated Dez Ali tosses his phone towards the wall, shattering it. He then pushes everything from the table unto the ground. Looks up and sees himself in the mirror, before taking a seat on his bed
