CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Nessa was a wrestling reporter for many years, although she does have both a background in gymnastics and extensive wrestling training. Nessa, according to her own sarcastic blurb on her website, is pure Canadian bitchsauce. She is fierce, driven, passionate and intelligent. She began her career in professional wrestling a decade ago, working as a reporter in WCWF while doing a brief stint from 2006 to 2009 in the ring for their feeder-promotion called NAWF. In 2012, Nessa competed in Femme Fatale Wrestling's Future Shock competition for up-and-coming female wrestlers, although she was eliminated in the semi-finals by a biased (according to her) fan vote. She competed in SCW where she won the Bombshell Roulette Championship as well as BWF where she held their Chaos Theory Championship. From there she moved on to Australia, working for IYHWF for a year where she managed to capture tag team gold alongside Shawn Fox. She left the company abruptly and returned to Canada, finding her way to Empire, competing with the Toronto-based company since their first show, going on to capture both the Empire Championship as well as maintaining a stranglehold on the tag team championships alongside Matt Stone. A spat between the two ended with the dissolution of the team and Stone asking for a trade, leaving Nessa to flounder, trying to find her footing on a solo basis in the company. She decided to move on shortly thereafter as well, seeking a place that wasn't full of bad memories.
