The scene opens to find the vertical style filming of an Iphone streaming live. The phone is shaky for a moment taking in the confines of a singular room. The room is bright with echos of sunlight beaming in at various angles, a chair seated directly in front of where the phone is sitting before a figure circles around; showcasing the piercing blue eyes of MWE’s own Keelan Jayce. A bandage wrapped firmly around the top of his head, barely peering out from beneath the hood of the hooded sweatshirt he is wearing, the same somber look we saw from him in the weeks before ever present on his face even now as he sat there looking above the phone to something ahead, perhaps the view or maybe someone else who was in the room, before he looked directly towards the screen.
Keelan Jayce: “G’day, Good Evening, whatever time of day it is for ya all out there. Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all of the concerning messages and to those who reached out to check on me after the show Wednesday. Your love and support was much appreciated.”
Taking that moment to gather the next few words he wanted to say, his jaw now tightened and you could see where he was chewing on it from the inside, before speaking once more.
Keelan Jayce: “The doctors have cleared me, Iron levels are back up to par and though they say I should be rather cautious. . . your favorite mate will be back in action once By Any Means strikes up its stream on MEN tv.”
He paused then now looking meagerly. Clearly anticipating what he wanted to say and trying his best to control his anger.
Keelan Jayce: “That being said, I’ve been pondering on just what to say in response to multiple things and this is the best solution I have for the moment.”
He was doing his best trying to not let his emotion take over him once more.
Keelan Jayce: “Seth Iser, The fact that I have to explain to you why using someone’s Personal Health Information as a crutch is abhorrent explains everything it needs to about you. You tried to state that my medical condition is a “weakness” and something I shouldn’t “bitch and moan” about when exploited also says everything it needs to. In reality you wouldn’t have even known about my fucking condition had some asshole not tried to cut open my forehead on live television which made a commentator uneasy causing her to reveal that private knowledge to the world. Did I say anything about having iron-deficient anemia to anyone prior to this? No I didn’t.
You want to sit there and tell me to “get over it”. . . I say Rack Off with that bullshit and shut your damn mouth when you don’t know what you’re talking about! It’s one thing to use the stipulations of a match to try and defeat someone with whatever means are at your disposal, its another thing to use information that you shouldn’t even be privy to against an individual when you had so many other ways of getting the job done, but couldn’t. My condition is not a fucking weakness, its not something I can work on to improve. It is a lifelong, Chronic condition, that will always be there, until the day I die. It’s not something for you or any other jack arse to try and exploit simply to advance your careers! THERE IS A FUCKING LINE, and if you can’t see that line then it goes beyond just having gumption doesn’t it?”
He paused now fuming from the anger he was feeling, but he continued to keep it under wraps.
Keelan Jayce: “You may want to think that you’re the blood of this sport, and that you’re the baddest of bad, but don’t you dare question my heart ever again or say that I don’t have what it takes. I literally knew that you were gunning to rip me open, and I still marched myself inside of that cage determined to prove to you and anyone else who ever had any fucking doubts, that the True Blue, Aussie Salute runs in my veins. I bled and I planted you on your arse and I don’t care what any record books say, YOU were not the winner of that match.
You took the same route as the coward that I am supposedly “bitching” and “moaning” about and in the end you still couldn’t measure up enough gusto to defeat me. Despite all that big talk and hard-willed game, Legend this and veteran that, you took the cheap opportunity when it presented itself and have now tarnished any credibility you might have had moving forward. Your win against Melly? Your hard fought victory over Brookford, all tainted because you couldn’t actually do what your promised when it counted the most. Even if you win that briefcase. . . did you really deserve it? No you don’t. . . You should be sending Gav a thank you card for getting you into the finals . . .
Everything you said about being gladiators and warriors? All bullshit. . . but just know that I will take your advice and get over it. . . for now. I’m willing to move forward because there is a bigger issue that needs to be settled, but I promise you mate when the time comes you’re going to remember exactly what you did that Wednesday, and you will learn exactly what I have in me. You were correct though, we aren’t the same. I don’t need tainted victories to get me through. Call me foolish all you like but merit is worth a hell of a lot more than that.”
Pausing now he takes a breath before he bites down on his bottom lip doing his best to still remain in control.
Keelan Jayce: “Which brings me to my next point and the reason I decided to record this entire little debacle to begin with. Gavin Grimes. A man I used to call friend, a man who now wants my blood on his hands. You’ve made it clear Gavin that you couldn’t handle being bested. Not once, but twice now you’ve crossed the line and while I’m not an American I certainly understand the three strike prinicple, but. . . I don’t believe in giving so many chances. Your chance of redemption was over the night you decided you wanted to take a screw driver to my head, and display my condition to the world. . . I gave you your chance to maintain whatever semblance of person there was left beneath the surface of the carcass you’ve now become but its clear the rumors about you are true.
You’ve changed. . . and while I didn’t want to believe it at first. I’ve decided now exactly what I’m going to do.
And that is END you!”
He stated now ostensibly.
Keelan Jayce: “And thanks to my discussion with Elsa McCarthy, even if she was a bit hesitant, I’ve been granted the privilege of choosing just how to do so, at By Any Means. Call it penance for being cheated out of my spot in the Main Event, or just something that was bound to happen. Gavin your arse is mine and I am going to make sure, you feel every bit of this wrath you’ve caused. You wanted to exploit me, expose me, and let the world know about my supposed weakness. . . then lets play that game shall we. I’m giving you the upper hand in this, so when I do end you, exactly like I said I would, there will be no excuse.
You’ve changed, well so have I in the years since I’ve been away and the days of people trying to use this against me are DONE. You want to make me bleed, well here is your chance to do so, but I promise, just like Seth Iser you won’t actually be able to get the job done.
At By Any Means, its you and me, in a First Blood Match, and this time Gavie, its not going to be my blood that stains the ring.”
The video comes to a close as he oddly smiles into the video display. Clearly ready to bleed again if he has too.
