PERSONALITY INFO

Gimmick
An All African-American white collar thug. Wealthy from his previous short Boxing career and family's wealth. Marcus is not shy in flaunting his wealth. A bad boy, a play boy, a womaniser, who uses the green to get exactly what he wants. While a professional fighter, he takes the shortcut inside the square circle, because he can and wants to and can pay for it when needed. Leader of The Bad Boyz.
Personality:
Being wealthy, successful and handsome, allows Marcus to be arrogant. Confident and with the backing of The Bad Boyz. The brains of his managers and to himself he is unstoppable.
Strengths
Strength in Numbers: The Bad Boyz & Managers. They got his back, be it backstage, in side the ring or anywhere outside the square circle. They believe by The Bad Boyz code "Strength in Numbers".
Silver Tongue: His words are dangerous, skilled with manipulation and very persuasive, very much like his uncle Michael Ali.
Athletic Background: He is a former WBO Heavyweight Champion, and Olympic Gold Medalist. This gives him an edge, over his opponents.
Wealth is Power: He worked hard to get where he is and what he want. Now armed with riches, and loyal friends he uses what he worked hard for to continue getting what he wants.
Weaknesses
Youth & Inexperience: While very talented, athletic and simply dangerous, Marcus is young and very much new to the business. A lot to learn in a short time, can affect his rise to the top.
Success Comes with Arrogance: Maybe it's his success in Heavyweight Boxing, maybe it's his money, maybe it's the strength in numbers, maybe it's because he is young. Marcus is an extremely arrogant individual, and as a former top tier heavyweight boxer, the former WBO Heavyweight Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist looks down at professional wrestlers and more importantly his opponents. He'll easily underestimate the challenge in front of him with his superiority complex, which is probably Marcus Ali Jr's biggest fault.
Injuries from the Past: While Ali Jr is an in ring competitor and former fighter, he has never suffered injury inside the ring. However, the twenty-seven year old suffered a severe torn ligament to his left knee, which required surgery and placed him on the sidelines for almost a year. This unfortunate injury came from crashing his motorbike into another vehicle, after leaving a party. Luckily his injuries was not life threatening, but it has affected his in ring performance since, especially if and when his competition targets his braced left knee.

Michael was Technical general in the ring, his brother Marcus was the highflyer, always entertaining the crowd. The Brotherhood came to a screeching halt, when Marcus went down with an injury due to his high risk wrestling style. This opened the opportunity for Michael to focus on his singles career, within twelve months Michael Ali was in top of the world, as the Heavyweight Champion. The brothers feuded for the championship, but again an unfortunate injury took out Marcus, causing to leave the square circle after twenty-one years. A few years later, Michael left the ring for good, opening up a wrestling school called Ali Wrestling Academy. Omari's dream was to always become a professional wrestler. And that dream is what ended him up here, unwillingly in the back and fort mix with The Bad Boyz. Michael blames Marcus Sr for his dangerous and reckless wrestling style and has always used this as the reason The Brotherhood relinquished their last championship. Marcus was always the more popular brother, and it's been highly rumoured amongst fans that Michael has always been jealous of his older brother's popularity and that is what turned Michael against his brother Marcus. After ending his career Marcus Sr opened a local gym in downtown Foxborough in 2016.

CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Born in wealth, Marcus Ali Jr grew up in Foxborough and Boston, Massachusetts. Despite being that kid with a silver spoon, Marcus hanged out with the bad boys on the block, smoking marijuana, playing basketball, working out, picking on the weak and chasing the ladies. He was one of the boys, even at one point getting in trouble with the law. ....As a kid Ali Jr has been always inspired to be a professional wrestler, following in his dad's and uncle's legendary footsteps. Marcus and his childhood friend Nick Hardy, wrestled and played as different superstars inside their bedrooms, or backyard by the poolside at Marcus' home. However by fifteen, Marcus interest from Professional Wrestling shifted to professional boxing. A year later, the teenager begun training to become a boxer. At the start, it was all for fun and love of the sports. He had zero interest in the competition. However that changed when a recruiter spotted him. He made his debut in competition at the age of nineteen, while still in College. His debut did not go as planned, however this was the first and last time Marcus Ali Jr fell in defeat. He went on to have an amazing four year career, clocking in a 11 wins and 1 loss record and winning gold at the 2016 Olympics. While still rising through the ranks, Marcus had a motorcycle accident injuring his knee. While rehabilitating his injury, Marcus shocked the Boxing world when he announced that he will be stepping away from Heavyweight Boxing to focus on his wrestling career. Soon after Marcus started attending his uncle's wrestling school. During his two years, Marcus did not make many friends at the school. However his childhood friend Nick Hardy who returned from serving in the US Marines, started training alongside Marcus. Thanks to his uncle and then wrestling superstar Aric Hardy, connected Marcus and Nick to several promotions. The two guys started out with a local promotion in the New England area. They competed as single competitors, but it didn't take long for them to unite and form The American Brothers. Army like uniformed tag team dominated the tag team division, winning their first championship with an undefeated record of 30-0. Ten victories later, they suffered their first loss, losing the Tag Titles. However they won it back in their rematch that saw Marcus and Nick turn heel. It was this heel turn that saw The American Brothers evolving into The Bad Boys, along side Khalil Washington III. The Bad Boys held the independent promotion's Tag Team Titles four times, before leaving the company to start a bigger journey, in a different direction. After Nick fell to injury The Bad Boys forcefully recruited Omari Johnson. The Bad Boys fell apart when Omari Johnson abruptly turned his back on them and walked away. Destiny has once again brought all these studs together, will history repeat itself or will The Bad Boyz fall apart before it even begin.
