Riot in Victoria
Live from Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne
Saturday, March 7th, 2020
The lights in the arena dim for a moment before flashing back as the tron lights up and Ravenhead by Orden Ogan begins to play throughout the arena and Henri Black, dressed in a black suit and tie with a grey overcoat, steps through the curtain to a somewhat mixed reception with a microphone in hand and makes his way to the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope.
Henri Black:
Now, I know that a South Australian like myself isn’t the most welcome person in Melbourne, but before you make up your mind to boo me there are two things I want you to think on… First, at least I’m not from Perth and second Heath Williams is a Kiwi and if there is nothing else we can agree on it’s our mutual dislike of Western Australians and Kiwi’s, right?
The crowd cheers sporadically and gradually increases in volume as more and more of the Victorian fans decide that, yes, a South Australian is in fact preferable to a Western Australian or Heath Williams.
Henri Black:
See, I knew we could find some common ground, and now that we’ve got that out of the way I came out here because I had some things I need to get off my chest after last week. Now as I’ve already stated, because they did not actively interfere in my match I’m not going to hunt down Neil Newman and Kyle Butler like I did Pierce Manning… but the next time either of them finds himself in my path there will be a reckoning, and if they decide that they need to head off the potential threat ahead of time, well then I’ll be happy to oblige them.
Henri shakes his head somewhat sadly before he continues.
Henri Black:
On a related note, Glory I’m disappointed in you. I honestly thought I had found a kindred spirit in you, somebody I could compete against in pure and untainted competition but you’ve turned out to be no better than Jenni and Pierce in the end. I’m not going to argue that you’re talented but the newfound reliance on Neil and Kyle goes completely against everything you once claimed to stand for, and next time we cross paths I promise you, I will not give you the benefit of the doubt a second time… and they will not save you again.
Henri leans against the ropes and with his left hand pinches the bridge of his nose.
Henri Black:
But that’s all in the past and quite possibly the future, so either way it has nothing to do with tonight and the Riot Rumble, I have nothing against any of the other competitors in that match aside from Heath Williams of course, and as a matter of fact I’m quite fond of Saki after our match in China, this fact will not however prevent me from doing everything within my power to ensure that I am the last man standing. Nor do I have any particular opinions about our Riot Champion one Devin Hearst, despite his lack of anything even closely resembling cordiality, but I will take great pleasure in driving my right foot…
Henri lifts his right leg and pats the sole of wing tipped leather shoe.
Henri Black:
...Clean through his skull and taking his championship should I happen to be successful tonight. And with that ladies and gentlemen I have said everything I came out here to say, and I do feel much better having gotten that load off my chest, so I will leave you to enjoy our opening match and see you all later. Wish me luck.
Henri then drops his microphone and rolls back under the bottom rope before making his way back to the locker room area.

REDD Thunder VS Dean SmithReady to make his debut on the orange brand, the Thunder From Down Under, as he asked to be announced by Rumchata Ayano in an attempt to draw some sympathy from the Australian fans, walked to the ring flaunting an APE shirt, obtaining the opposite effect. The former Invictus Champion Dean Smith was waiting for him in the ring, focused and well aware of the big challenge ahead of him. As soon as the bell rang, Dean charged at Redd with a devastating running knee, The Thunder seemed to absorb the impact, stumbling back a couple of steps. A more aggressive than the usual Dean caught the opponent in a clinch position, landing some more knees to the face. Redd shook him off and shoved him back, running through him with a shoulder tackle. Smith was right back on his feet, trying to defend himself from the big man’s comeback, in the form of a flurry of punches, most of which got dodged by the deceptively quick former champ who landed a stiff kick to the back of the leg, forcing the returning superstar on his knees. Showing that sense of urgency that comes from a year spent competing in the Invictus division, Dean went for an early Choke Out attempt, applying the sleeper hold on Redd. The big man powered out of it quite soon, rocking Smith with an elbow to the face and quickly tossing him around with a belly-to-belly suplex. The match quickly turned in an all out brawl, both Dean and Redd renouncing their suplexes and grappling to focus on a more direct brawling style, although Dean still managed to connect a spike ddt after backflipping off a clothesline, obtaining a two count. But other than that and a pop-up powerbomb from the Thunder, the contest became a long exchange of fists and kicks in a crescendo of intensity, with the referee trying to restore order when things were getting out of hand. The overly aggressive Dean received a warning when he tied Redd to the ropes and used him as a Training Dummy to try some boxing combos, using closed fists to throw his punches. Redd fought back and knocked Dean down with a savate kick, squashing him with a running senton for another near fall. Unfortunately what looked like an even contest between the two heavyweights turned into just another excuse for APE to ambush someone who stood in their way. Alan Envy, attacked by Dean last week in retaliation to what the Lonestar did to his sister Luna, came down the ramp, taunting and calling out Dean. The former Invictus Champion’s fiery temper, something Alan was well aware of and counted on, caused him to take his eyes off the prize and fall in APE’s trap. A Brute Force Algorithm (Jackhammer) was all Redd Thunder needed to get his first win on Riot. WINNER: Redd Thunder BY: Pinfall (Brute Force Algorithm), 8:15 |
Sir Figgles: "It's good to see you back, big boy."
Amy Maynard: "Will any member of APE ever win a match without interference?"
Sir Figgles: "I have a better question for you. Will the other member of the roster ever learn not to step in APE's business?"

Backstage Kristina Spencer is pacing back and forth like a wild animal as she is apparently not in a very good mood. Veronica Chandler is backstage with her trying to calm her client down
Veronica Chandler
Calm down please. You need to take a deep breath and relax so we can prepare for the battle royal tonight.
Kristina continues to pace back and forth
Veronica Chandler
Getting yourself worked up about things that happened to Kelsey the other night is not going to help you tonight. So calm down, go out there and win the Rumble and then worry about your cousin.
Kristina Spencer:
How can I? Cousin Kelsey has been getting screwed by everybody lately! She was screwed by Heath Williams in War Games! She was screwed by Sophie O’ Brian in the Intercontinental Tournament!! She is always screwed by that idiot Christian Michaels!!! I am sick of it!!
Kristina picks up a chair and throws up against the wall and it bounces off the wall and nearly takes out a referee. Kristina’s tantrum continues as she grabs the Latte machine and smashes it against the wall shattering it!
Veronica Chandler
Ok i agree Kelsey got the short end inside the cage against Heath but she wanted that match and sometimes things like that happen.
Kristina Spencer:
So going to give Heath a barbwire bat enima!
Veronica’s eyes get huge
Veronica Chandler
Sucks to be him. As for Sophie, didn't Kelsey tell you to drop it? Kelsey is not mad so we should stay out of it.
Kristina Spencer:
Cousin Kelsey is to nice to people. Remind to teach Gabby not to be too nice to her opponents.
Veronica chuckles
Veronica Chandler
As for Christian i totally agree. I would reckon he screws Kelsey pretty regularly
Veronica chuckles but Kristina is not amused
Kristina Spencer:
It only takes one shot to change him from a Rooster to a Hen.
Veronica Chandler
Well ok then. Tell you what why don’t you go out there and beat everybody else in the ring and then we can take Kelsey to the local buffet and let her close down the place. That always makes her happy as can be.
Kristina grabs her barbwire bat
Kristina Spencer:
Fine! Let’s go make some bitches bleed!
The two of them walk off with Veronica sporting a sinister grin on her face

Cheesecake VS SpectreThe Junior Heavyweight Champion Cheesecake made her debut in the Down Under tour against Spectre. Having competed in Australia early in her career, the Arizona born received a warm reaction, or perhaps the fans were cheering on the hometown hero, Big Barv. Regardless, this didn’t seem to faze Cheesecake, or the man formerly known as Tyron Bickerton, for what was worth. The match started and, as predictable, it was a high octane and spectacular, as you would expect it to be. Spectre took the lion’s share in the first minutes, hitting the overconfident young girl with a series of lightning quick kicks. Cheesecake was already in difficulty, unable to contain the opponent’s fury as Spectre connected his Click Click Boom! (German Suplex/superkick/shining punch combination). To escape from the potential pinning predicament, Cheesecake rolled under the bottom rope. But there was no rest for the wicked tonight, as Spectre immediately dragged her back to her feet and rocked her with a punch, before hitting the ropes and jumping over her head, taking her down on the hard floor with the Cheating Death. The daredevil move earned him the applause of the fans but, more importantly, seemed to have done quite some damage to the daughter of Trip Johnson, who was rolling on the floor arching her back in pain. He rolled her back in the ring and made the cover, but he only got a two out of it. As always Barv wasn’t doing much as far as encouragement goes, standing still and silent like a statue as his young friend was struggling to get any offense in. He still found a way to help her when she rolled once again out of the ring and he stood in Spectre’s way, buying her some time. And the ever resourceful Cheesecake made the best out of it, hiding behind her BFF imposing figure to strike Spectre when he least expected it. Before bringing the fight back in the ring, she grabbed him by the nape and drove his face against the steel post. She then climbed on the top rope and jumped with a double foot stomp to his chest. Finally the Jr Heavyweight Champion had found her footing in the match, showing that undoubted set of skills that allowed her to win the title back at Big In Japan and that often goes unnoticed because of her brash attitude. Various hurricanranas, including one off the top rope, a swinging neckbreaker and an array of swift kicks completely turned the tides of the match, putting the champion on the driver’s seat. Spectre’s Archer Approved (springboard cutter) was nothing but a flash in the pan, a springboard cutter out of nowhere that only temporary broke Cheesecake’s momentum. After kicking out in two, she took him down with a nasty spinning heel kick and sealed the deal with the Star In The Night, the corkscrew senton imitated from her biggest influence, Katie Moicelle WINNER: Cheesecake BY: Pinfall (Star In The NIght), 7:37 |
Amy Maynard: "Cheesecake didn't disappoint in her first match after winning the title."
Sir Figgles: "You can say what you want about her and her loudmouth. But she can get the job done, and that's all that matters."

Riot cuts backstage to Vianca Alvarez who again, is looking a bit worse for wear after another intense workout as she tries to prepare for getting back in a wrestling ring. She chugs an entire bottle of water and then tosses it aside in the trash can when suddenly, Hayley Halsey approaches her. She tries her best to look happy, but her expression indicates that she’s anything but at this point. Once she’s in Vianca’s sights, she expresses a fake smile as she begins to talk to her.
Hayley Halsey:
Hey…
Vianca Alvarez:
What’s up?
Hayley Halsey:
I see you’ve been working pretty hard.
Vianca Alvarez:
Yeah, I’m really tired.
Hayley Halsey:
Hey, tired is good when you’re busting your ass. Anyway Vianca, I’ve got some good news for you. That third person of our movement? She managed to score a tryout with MWE.
Vianca Alvarez:
Oh… I knew that. She told me. I’m REALLY looking forward to when it finally kicks off.
Hayley Halsey:
Of COURSE you are! I’m so glad you had a sudden change of tone. Oh… did you know that the third person actually PASSED their tryout and that they’ve made a verbal mutual agreement on a contract?
Vianca Alvarez:
That’s wonderful! I’m so happy for her. You know… she’s really gone through a lot starting from her first day of training and continuing to being on a wrestling roster for a year but never, ever being used for some weird reason.
Hayley Halsey:
I should tell you the bad news though…
Vianca Alvarez:
...um… yeah?
Hayley Halsey:
You’re fired.
Vianca expresses complete shock at what she just heard.
Vianca Alvarez:
WHAT? But I’ve been working so hard at…
Hayley Halsey:
Shut up…
Vianca Alvarez:
I don’t understand…
Hayley interrupts Vianca by grabbing her by the hair, turning her around and bashing her face right into the wall. She still holds onto her while continuing her rant.
Hayley Halsey:
You know what I’ve been realizing lately… as far as my frustrating lack of progress in MWE is concerned?
Hayley bashes Vianca’s face against the wall and throws her down to the floor.
Hayley Halsey:
YOU’RE THE PROBLEM!
Hayley further exacerbates the situation by punting her right across the chest.
Hayley Halsey:
I thought bringing you along was a great idea… but you know what? All YOU’VE done is drag me down and make me look like a fucking IDIOT! You’re a two-faced, backstabbing, whining, useless little BITCH who doesn’t belong in MY WRESTLING!
Hayley picks up Vianca and throws her shoulder first into a metal crate.
Hayley Halsey:
And I am NOT going to stand for you anchoring me anymore, do you understand me?
Hayley opens the crate and tries to get Vianca in there…
Hayley Halsey:
Get in there… fucking USELESS!
Hayley is finally able to jam Vianca inside of the crate before sealing it shut. She shoves it as hard as she can down the hallway and stares at it with anger in her eyes before she hears a loud thud. She chuckles with glee as the metal crate tips over on its side and an unconscious Vianca Alvarez partially slips out of the crate when it pops open upon impact. Turning back toward the camera, Hayley continues to make her point.
Hayley Halsey:
Now… as far as last week’s events go? I’m not going to explain too much because Donovan Keane… my opponent tonight… nailed it right on the money. Jealousy? You bet your ass because it’s as clear as fucking day that Leia LeBeau… who by the way deserves nothing… is a Vincent Moretti favorite! I wouldn’t be shocked if she sleeps with him too! EVERYTHING about her makes me sick and this has far more to do with how extremely overhyped she is when she doesn’t do this for the wrestling than anything else. I’ve busted my ass again and again, from day one that I trained to be part of this. I trained to be the best pure wrestler I can be, learning under the guidance of one Victoria Salinas, and I was taught to never stray from that and I haven’t. I’ve had to endure company after company that I’ve wrestled for closing on me. I’ve had to endure one of them closing on me JUST after I won my first championship in just my FOURTH match… faster than even Victoria who had done it in six… I’ve had to endure another taking advantage of me and screwing me over, screwing me out of the second championship that I won… and then closing on me shortly afterward. I’ve had to endure the fact that 2020 is my REAL rookie year in this business because 2018 and 2019 were WASTED by the irresponsible, bullshit companies I wrestled for showing a horrible inability to stay open.
I don’t NEED to deal with this shit too and I’m SICK of it! I bust my ass for SO long and all I get are a couple of championships that the company renders useless by closing right after I win them. Whereas THAT BITCH comes in and Vinny Moroni hands her the keys to the fucking kingdom and he’s teasing that he’s going to FINE ME?
FUCK THAT… and fuck HIM too!
Vincent Moretti, Leia LeBeau and Donovan Keane are… to respectfully steal an expression… ENEMIES OF WRESTLING because they all enable this crap!
This business should NOT be populated by people that are prostituting this business to have their name up in lights like Leia is and I sure as hell DON’T regret what I did and when I shut you the fuck up Donovan… for all the bullshit you’ve been saying about me… it’s going to feel quite… VAINGLORIOUS if you know what I mean!
No longer will I tolerate this bullshit!
So Vinny Moroni… you better start treating me with the respect I deserve… otherwise? I’ll make what I did to Leia look like child’s play the next time I get my hands on her!
Hayley expresses further anger by shoving away the camera and walking away as she starts to think about the match she has in front of her later tonight.

Hayley Halsey VS Donovan KeaneFor the first time since joining MWE Hayley Halsey walked to the ring alone. When “I See Stars” by Running With Scissors blared out of the loudspeakers, Donovan Keane walked to the stage hand-in-hand with his beautiful girlfriend. Halsey already started protesting with the referee, saying that she didn’t belong here and when the referee calmly told her that she asked and obtained the authorization to be in her boyfriend’s corner, she began calling conspiracy. Leia, on the other hand, was all smiles, posing for the camera and flaunting her award nominated smile, winking and saying that even if she wasn’t booked, she couldn’t “leave her fans without The Show.” After greeting his girl with a quick peck on the cheek, Donovan turned his attention to the opponent. His expression changed, the smile faded and was replaced by a determined look, the look of someone who’s looking for vengeance. Very aggressive from the get going, Keane was hell bent on making Hayley pay for her interference last week, costing them the match and potentially the tag team titles. More so after the recent unflattering words and allegations she made before the match. Stiff punches and kicks pushed Hayley back in the corner, and from there, after a series of four uppercuts, Donovan whipped her all the way across the ring. He went for a jumping back elbow, but Halsey moved out of the way and charged at him for a corner clothesline. Donnie lifted himself and, placing both his feet on her chest, stomped her to the floor. The referee had to warn him in several occasions, reminding him to keep the match within the rules. While he was trying to explain him that choking your opponent on the ropes wasn’t allowed, Hayley couldn’t pass on the chance and taunted Leia with more heavy insults. She even spat in her direction, barely missing the disgusted Showgirl who decided to react, looking to slap the New Vainglorious. The referee, hearing the commotion behind his back, turned around just in time to stop the Show from striking. And Hayley took advantage of the situation with a mule kick right between poor Donnie’s legs. It was the opening she needed to build some momentum, obtaining her first nearfall with a floatover backbreaker. Donovan returned the courtesy a minute later, catching her with a tilt-a-whirl version of the same move, but even in this case it wasn’t enough to keep the opponent down. Back and forth they went with no more interruptions or distractions, hitting one another with their best shots, a tornado ddt from Hayley was answered by Donnie’s Keane-plex, a shooting star press by the Nightfall Rising member had its counterpart in a 450 from Halsey. The impression the fans were having was that the match was hanging on a thin thread, and with the momentum swinging between the two competitors, it could have ended at any moment. All it took was one big move. And Donovan was the one who hit it, thanks to an assist from his girlfriend who distracted Hayley when she was going for the So Ridiculous. Donnie didn’t let this opportunity go to waste and knocked Halsey off the turnbuckle she was perching onto. Applying a front facelock, he lifted The Heartbreaker and positioned her so that her feet were resting on the top rope. And from this position, he connected the dragon screw neck whip he calls DK Country, picking up his first win in singles competition in MWE. WINNER: Donovan Keane BY: Pinfall (DK Country), 8:44 |
Amy Maynard: "Firing her manager didn't quite work the way she hoped for Hayley"
Sir Figgles: "Changes don't happen overnight, Amy. Locking your manager in a crate doesn't make you a champion, but it's a step in a right direction."

Backstage…
Jenni Anderson can be seen getting ready for her quarter-final match in the Intercontinental Championship tournament. But immediately, that is not what’s on her mind. As it is, she is standing with Pierce Manning.
Jenni Anderson:
I’m telling you, this is an unfortunate position to be in. In order to gift MWE with an Intercontinental Champion who is truly worthy, who would be nothing but good business for the company, I have to go through a mindless monster named… Pinhead?
She shakes her head.
Pierce Manning:
It’s a travesty.
Jenni Anderson:
And I still have yet to hear back from management about correcting the record to give me the win I deserved over Glory Braddock.
As she says this, Jared Constable enters the scene. He’s breathing heavily as Jenni and Pierce look over to him.
Jenni Anderson:
Did you get it?
He pulls his arm up from his side, holding a paper cup for Jenni.
Jared Constable:
One venti, half-whole milk, one quarter 1%, one quarter non-fat, extra hot, split quad shots, no foam latte, with whip, 2 packets of splenda, 1 sugar in the raw, a touch of vanilla syrup and 3 short sprinkles of cinnamon.
Jenni takes the cup in her hand, smelling the complicated beverage briefly before taking a sip.
Jenni Anderson:
Thank you Jared.
Jared Constable:
Of course… is there anything else I can do?
Jenni Anderson:
Yes…
Pierce Manning:
We need you to track down someone in charge here and get a decision on this “no contest” controversy.
Jared Constable:
Yes, absolutely! … What controversy?
Jenni rolls her eyes, looking over at Pierce.
Pierce Manning:
The controversy where Jenni was robbed of a victory over Glory Braddock by a referee who would rather have called a no contest rather than a proper disqualification.
Jared Constable:
Right! Duh… of course. I’ll be right back.
Jared rushes out of the scene again, leaving Pierce and Jenni alone.
Pierce Manning:
He’s good help… just needs a little nudging in the right direction sometimes.
Jenni Anderson:
Some training and he’ll be fine.
Pierce Manning:
Right… so you’ve got a plan for Pinhead? I doubt he’ll take a payoff. He seems intent on fighting.
Jenni grins, looking over to Pierce.
Jenni Anderson:
Oh, don’t worry. I’ve ALWAYS got a plan. The bigger they are… the harder they fall. It’s really for the best.
She gives him a knowing wink as the scene fades.

MWE Intercontinental Championship: Quarter Final
Pinhead VS Jenni AndersonMWE Intercontinental Championship: Quarter Final
Jenni Anderson walked to the ring alone, determined to succeed where bigger and stronger men have failed. Taking down the giant known as Pinhead. Granted, her partner in crime, the other half of The Establishment wasn’t too far, probably watching over her and possible Revolution’s run ins backstage, but the Queenpin was out there alone against the monster himself. Stepping inside the ring with a game plan, Anderson followed through it for the first minutes of the match with moderate success. The most simple tactic, quick strikes and constantly keep on moving was paying off: as fast for a man of his size Pinhead was, he couldn’t match Jenni’s speed, and her kicks brought with pinpoint precision were starting to affect Pinhead’s mobility, damaging his tree sized legs. Another kick to the leg was blocked by the member of The Revolution, but Anderson was quick to hit him with an enziguri, catching him right on the side of the head. Pinhead stumbled back, still on his feet even after a superkick. Jenni then aimed at his kneecap with a low dropkick, finally taking the big man down to his knees, eventually flooring him with a high velocity buzzsaw kick. It took her long enough, but the giant was finally down: all this effort though was only worth a one count. And then things took the turn she hoped they wouldn’t take. The first, slightest mistake she made gave Pinhead the opportunity to catch her and lift her over his head in a gorilla press position, throwing her out of the ring. Instead of following her outside, the giant stood in the center of the ring, patiently waiting for Jenni to get back in the ring. And when she did, he welcomed her with a kick to the head deadlifting her and tossing her around with a gutwrench suplex. Slowly and methodically, he was dismantling the Queenpin, fishing in his vast arsenal of power moves to maximize the damage done with various forms of powerbombs and suplexes, Jenni was resisting, barely hanging in some might say. But it was undeniable that the momentum was completely on Pinhead’s side. His high impact moves were taking a lot out of her, every pinfall attempt a little closer to the three. In this situation, seeing her countering a powerbomb into an headscissors that sent the behemoth head first against the middle turnbuckle came as a shock to the fans. Getting up, the big man looked dizzy, and this gave the member of The Establishment the motivation she needed to try score the upset. No matter what she threw at him, Pinhead wasn’t just staying down. He kicked out from the TrickyDT (tornado ddt), from the Jinxy Jack (top rope flipping spinning leg lariat) and, barely, from the Cash Advance legdrop bulldog. The frustration was evident on Jenni’s face, and somehow understandable. And she screamed it all out, as Pierce Manning walked out of the curtain and headed down the ramp. Their last resort, the back up plan in case, and this was it, everything else failed was probably to have Manning distract the referee while Jenni hit Pinhead with some foreign object or, why not, a low blow. But this time their shenanigans didn’t work. The Revolution was watching over the match as well, to ensure their partner wasn’t screwed over. Out came The Mutt, quickly crawling on all fours behind Manning, biting his calf. And when Pierce turned around to kick him away, The Manic was ready to spit her red mist on his face. And on that thousands dollar suit he was wearing. Inside the ring, Jenni watched the scene, only now becoming aware of the bulking presence behind her shoulders. And it was too late already, He wrapped his huge arms around her waist, connecting the devastating move known as The Village for a total of seven german suplexes, advancing to the semi-final of the tournament. WINNER: Pinhead BY: Submission (The Village), 9:44 |

Christian Michaels w/Javen VS Teagan Gallagher w/Bree SmithSingles competition for one half of the current MWE tag team champions against one half of the team they won the title from. Teagan Gallagher took on the veteran Christian Michaels. Finally cleared to compete after the brutal War Games match he’s been part of, Christian Michaels, accompanied by his brother Javen walked out to the applause of the fans. The same reception, if not even louder, welcomed the BreeTee Committee. Teagan entered the ring, followed by Bree and they raised the title in the air, celebrating with the fans. The McMillions glanced at the belts they dropped at the last ppv with the look of someone who’s determined to get them back. Tonight could be the first step in that direction, should Christian come out victorious in this match against Teagan who wasted no time, targeting that right shoulder from the get going. She was twisting his arm, putting pressure on the previously injured part of the body. A wise move, but something a veteran like CM had predict, finding a counter to every attempt Gallagher made and eventually reversing it into a hammerlock of his own. Being well versed in the technical aspects of wrestling, the irish born countered that and tried to whip the opponent to the ropes, but Christian put his weight down and blocked her attempt, yanking her arm right into a clothesline. The crowd seemed split in half, cheering for both competitors as they were putting on an extremely enjoyable contest. Teagan was showing off all her technical prowess, coming very close to the win with a bridging german suplex. Christian relied more on his experience to counter Teegs’ offense, blocking a suplex attempt and trying a quick pinning predicament with an inside cradle. The two were back on their feet and Michaels went for a kick to the stomach, doubling her over and setting her up for the Just Like That. The twist of fate connected, and The Southern Heartthrob made the cover. Too close to the ropes, all Teagan had to do was to rest her foot on the bottom one and stop the count. Bree started cheering on her partner, understanding the moment of difficulty she was going through. In the opposite corner, Javen did the same to his brother, reminding him that he only needed to hit the move “Just one more time” to get the win. The fans followed suit, creating a great atmosphere for these last minutes of the match. Christian seemed in control, but he suffered Gallagher’s comeback. She came at him with a flurry of kicks, not stopping even when CM found himself with the back against the corner. Two kicks to the chest before a running Yakuza kick floored the veteran, like where Teagan wanted him. Up on the top turnbuckle she went, delighting the fans with her Tee For Two 630 splash. This time she was the shocked one when Christian kicked out. The discourage only lasted a moment, then she went back to work wearing the opponent down with more kicks and knee strikes. Everything was ready for the Gallagher’s Way but the ever resilient CM still had some fuel left in his tank, blocking the exploder suplex attempt and countering with a flurry of desperate elbows to the side of the head, eventually breaking free and leaving the opponent dazed. A second Just Like That sealed the deal, giving the returning Michaels a big win. WINNER: Christian Michaels BY: Pinfall (Just Like That), 8:15 |

In the locker room area we see Veronica Chandler with one of her clients Kelsey Spencer.
Veronica Chandler:
So you sure you are healthy enough to be in this Rumble? You took a beating in War Games and then you lost to Sophie. I can only assume you lost to her because of all your injuries from War Games. You need me to pull you from this match Kelsey?
Kelsey gives a chuckle with a subtle shake of her head.
Kelsey Spencer:
Are you kidding? I've been waiting all week for this! An all out scramble between some of the best wrestlers on the Riot roster, with a shot at the Riot Championship at stake… Man, I live for this!
She smacks her left shoulder with an open palm, much like a sumo wrestler would before a big bout.
Veronica Chandler:
Very well. You know your body better than anybody but to be honest I am worried about what Krissy might do to anybody who harms you or eliminates you. She has become more angry since the War Games and wants to destroy Heath, CM and now Sophie as she feels they have harmed you.
Veronica seems to suddenly realize something as her expression changes
Veronica Chandler:
Wait, what will happen if it comes down to you and Krissy?
Kelsey looks to the left for a moment and grins.
Kelsey Spencer:
If it ends up being just me and Krissy in there, then I'm gonna go all out. Every time I've been in the ring with her, it's been a blast. I'm hoping that with all we've been through, we get a chance to test out what we've learned since the last time we fought. See how we match up against each other in 2020.
She puts a hand on her manager's shoulder.
Kelsey Spencer:
I'll never forget what she did for me in War Games. Just agreeing to have my back in there … I definitely owe her one. But I can't let this opportunity go. I want another shot at the Riot Championship.
She gives a smile as she takes a step back.
Kelsey Spencer:
Us Spencers are a competitive bunch. I know my cousin feels the same way I do. She wouldn't want me to give any less than my best out there.
Veronica smiles at Kelsey
Veronica Chandler:
Well i do want all my clients to have titles, Krissy has one in SVW so you having one here would be great as well. I am just concerned that Krissy may snap at any time but I guess we will deal with that when it and if it happens. So seriously Kelsey, are you recovered from War Games? I need to ask because you should have wiped the mat with Sophie and that loss concerns me.
Veronica puts her hands on Kelsey's shoulders and stares at her. Kelsey blinks and looks back, a little perplexed by the level of concern.
Veronica Chandler:
If you are injured you need to tell me. So look me in the eyes and tell Vee the truth. Are you a hundred percent healthy?
They maintain eye contact through several seconds of uncomfortable silence before Kelsey gives a nervous chuckle.
Kelsey Spencer:
Hey, don't worry about me! I'm a little sore still, but that's just the life of a pro wrestler, isn't it?
Her smile fades slightly.
Kelsey Spencer:
Some of the stuff that happened in that match is stuff I'll never forget… Stuff that's gonna stick with me forever. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet. I'm still trying to understand what those feelings mean.
She forces the smile back onto her face.
Kelsey Spencer:
But I'm fine, really.
Vee looks at Kelsey not totally believing that the little blonde is as fine as she says.
Veronica Chandler:
I will take your word on this. So about this Rumble tonight who do we need to look out for the most? Whomever it is should be double teamed by the Spencers since if you two team up you can eliminate everybody else guaranteeing a Spencer wins this thing.
Vee starts pacing back and forth
Veronica Chandler:
Hmmm maybe you and Krissy should attack before the bell rings and get an advantage early on the rest of those too;s in this match?
Kelsey looks shocked Vee would suggest such a thing
Kelsey Spencer:
That doesn't sound very fair. If we act like that, neither of us deserve to win.
Vee shakes her head
Veronica Chandler:
Now Kelsey, didn't you learn during this stuff with Heath? You need to hit fast and hard and before anybody expects it. You and Krissy strike first and then you control the temp of the match so trust me attacking before the ring intros are done would give you an edge. I can talk to stagehand and get you and Krissy introduced first and then you can attack the others as they enter the ring.
Vee gets one of those devious grins of hers that always makes Kelsey nervous about things,
Kelsey Spencer:
Uhh… Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea. Maybe that works for my cousin, but I don't wanna win that way. I wanna compete against opponents when they're at the best, not when they're beaten up. Besides, it's not a tag team match. Krissy and I are gonna have to face each other eventually. And, knowing my cousin, if I take her eyes off her for even a second, that's when she's gonna strike.
Veronica Chandler:
Maybe, maybe not. She seems much more protective of you these days. Almost as if she is more concerned about your well being and not as much about her own. I’m telling you that War Games changed her Kelsey. Thus why you should work together until everybody else is gone but you do what is best for you but god help you if you two don't win
Kelsey looks shocked
Veronica Chandler:
Just kidding
She laughs.
Kelsey Spencer:
Thanks, Veronica. I'll do all I can out there to not let you down again.
Tag Team Match
Jetpack VS Golden Era
In the ever competitive tag division, every match counts when it comes to climb the ranks and earn a shot at the title. And you can bet that both the former champions Jetpack and the former number one contenders Golden Era would love another shot at the titles. Even if they’re both born in the USA, the three time IYH tag team champion had the home field advantage tonight, the sold out crowd completely behind them with not a single soul cheering from Butler and Newman. Well, except for Glory Braddock, standing in their corner. Her presence made the first ever tag champion uneasy, well aware that the group collectively known as Glorious Golden Era has no qualms in taking shortcuts to get things their way. But Glory didn’t interfere, she didn’t even provide any sort of distraction even when things weren’t look too good for her associates as Kyle was isolated in the enemy’s corner with Penny and Jet working on him alternately. A series of chops to the chest from Jet, Penny coming in with knee strikes and tagging her partner once again for the icing on the cake. The May We All (argentine rack/neckbreaker combination) struck early, and the former champs only got a two out of it. Kyle was able to turn the tides, catching the flying Jet with an atomic drop and then leveled him with a lariat. grabbing him by the foot, he dragged Blanchard to his corner making the tag to Newman. Neil showed somewhat of a mean streak, entering the ring with a flurry of stomps to Jet’s back, targeting that same part with all kind of backbreakers, including some unconventional ones like when, standing on the second rope, he dropped the Georgia born on the turnbuckle. His methodical offense definitely slowed down Jet, the back clearly bothering him and affecting his speed and agility. Twice the match seemed to be over for the former champions, but Penny was being vigilant and broke up the bridge after Newman connected his delayed high angle german. Glory Braddock at ringside could be more than satisfied with how Golden Era was able to turn the match around and how well they were working together, coming close to the three with a belly-to-back/neckbreaker combination. Eventually, Jetpack was able to turn the tides once again, also because of an excess of confidence on the part of Newman, who gave Jet too much time to recover and got caught with a seated jawbreaker. The tag came right after, and Penelope entered the ring like a house on fire, knocking Neil off his feet and quickly heading toward Kyle, dropping him off the apron with a kick to the face. Her attention then went back to Newman, unloading a flurry of kicks to him and leaving him doubled over in the middle of the ring, gaining speed against the ropes and dropping him down with a bulldog. She kept a fast pace, a strategy that always worked well against the Golden Era and allowed her to obtain a couple of near falls, requiring Kyle to save his partner after a springboard flying knee. Glory was starting to show some signs of nervousness, barking orders and complaining to the referee. All this built a tense atmosphere with the young referee officiating the contest, and the restlessness Butler was showing didn’t help at all. Kyle kept entering the ring to help his partner, drawing the attention of the referee, allowing Glory to slide inside the ring and drop Penny on her face with the Glorification. The unprettier left Penelope laying on the canvas, just like Neil was after Kaplan hit him with her Penelope Code moments before. When the referee turned the two legal competitors were starting to stir and crawl to the respective corners, while Braddock was acting all innocent out of the ring. Helena Noir, wearing an “Enemy Of Wrestling” shirt leaped over the barricade and blasted Glory from behind with a clothesline and began pummeling her with lefts and rights. Reacting on instinct, Kyle went to rescue the British Bombshell, leaving his corner. When an exhausted Neil got there, he found nobody to tag. Penny instead could count on Jet, tagging him in. It was almost too easy for Blanchard to level his opponent with a spinning wheel kick and apply the Sweeter Than A Peach crucifix armbar with neckscissors on the already proved Neil, obtaining the submission win. WINNER: Jetpack BY: Submission (Sweeter Than A Peach), 14:16 |
Sir Figgles: "Well, this was the last time we saw Helena Noir."
Amy Maynard: "She seems to have an issue with the Glorious Golden Era..."
Sir Figgles: "And now I bet they have an issue with her. And trust me, it doesn't bode well for Noir."

Ash Fi VS Tiny DesSir Figgles was less than happy to see his daughter and his sister fighting. The relationship with the IYH superstar seemed to be far from idyllic. The commentator refused to call her by her name, or even address her as his daughter. And Amy had her job cut out for her keeping him at his place. As far as the match goes, Ash Fi, well known around here for her work with the Australia based company, where she held the Rapid Fire Championship for a little over a month, started off with a surprising aggression that caught Destiny off guard. Soon the Riot star found herself in the corner trying to shield herself from her niece’s attack. The referee tried to help her cause, pushing Ash backand giving Tint Des a moment to recover. It was just a moment though, then Fi was back on the attack with those lethal kicks of hers, not caring about the referee warning her about a possible disqualification. She only stopped after knocking down the opponent with a roundhouse kick, stepping back and glancing at the commentary table with a devious smirk on her face. After the shocking start where she risked to capitulate in at least two occasions after a shoot bicycle kick and the Warp Spasm (over the shoulder back kick), Tiny Des finally began doing her part in the match, catching her niece with The Leveler counter leg lariat. Ash quickly got back to her feet, trying to regain control with the first of a series of knife edge chops, grabbing the opponent’s wrist and sending her against the ropes. On the first rebound Des ducked a clothesline, on the second she was launched in the air with a back body drop but landed on her feet, hitting the ropes one more time and taking the young girl down, planting her on her face with a hurricanrana driver. The pace of the match remained quick, the action back and forth with both wrestlers having their chances to win it. But Destiny always seemed to lack that killer instinct, hesitating a moment before going for her Tiny Hammer. And she paid the ultimate price as Ash Fi dodged it and connected an inverted headlock backbreaker, locking her aunt in a deep Cwlwm submission. There was no escape for Tiny Des from the Bridging Inverted Deathlock, not even after she tapped out and the bell rang as Ash didn’t let go, making a statement in front of the Australian fans. WINNER: Ash Fi BY: Submission (Cwlwm), 10:17 |

MWE Intercontinental Championship: Quarter Final
Alan Envy VS Melody LennoxMWE Intercontinental Championship: Quarter Final
Having won the ladder match back at Big In Japan, Melody Lennox debuted tonight in the MWE Intercontinental Tournament, against APE's new member Alan Envy. "Swear It To The Sun" by Voodoo Johnson blared out of the loudspeakers, but nobody came out. The tron came to life, showing live footage from the gorilla position where Dean Smith was beating the crap out of Envy, knocking him down with a knee to the head. Cut back to the ring where Melody was smiling. She then turned to the referee, pointing her finger to the tron and asking him what happens to her match. The official only thought about it for a moment before calling the bell and declaring Melody the winner via forfeit. WINNER: Melody Lennox BY: Forfeit, 0:00 |
Sir Figgles: "What a crappy call from the referee. That's not how you treat a member of APE! I'm sure our glorious Chris Constantine will not let Melody get away with this travesty."
Amy Maynard: "Melody? She showed up to fight, it's not her fault if Alan Envy is not fit to compete. Perhaps, if APE would stop messing with everyone, karma wouldn't strike on them like this."
Sir Figgles: "Please keep your wrong opinions for yourself, Amy."
The camera catches Dean Smith right outside the Arena. After the attack on Alan Envy, the former Invictus Champion is waiting for a taxi, ready to go back to his hotel. To kill the time he's checking his phone, probably checking his social media accounts. He doesn't notice the three men approaching him from behind until it's too late. A red white and blue brass knuckles shines under the artificial light, connecting with the back of Dean's head and dropping him on his knees. Duke Andrews is the one who swung the punch, Redd Thunder instead picks him up and launches him against the wall. Standing between them is Chris Constantine Junior, dressed in an elegant suit. The MWE World Champion isn't getting his hands dirty, limiting to bark instructions to his partners in crime. Redd nods and picks up Dean, holding him while Duke bunches him on the ribs and abdomen. Then they switch position, Redd's stone fists landing hard on his sides and some even on the face. The Thunder ends the assault with an headbutt so hard that Dean's nose immediately starts bleeding.
Battered and bruised, the Riot OG is down, his phone laying a few inches away. Constantine squats down and picks it up, taking a picture of the beaten down former champion. Scrolling his finger on the cracked screen he sends the picture to the members of the Smith family.
Riot Rumble Match
Winner gets a Riot Championship title shot
As we come back from commercial, we’re presented with almost all of the Riot Rumble competitors inside the ring. There’s Saki in one corner, Echo a few paces to her right. Liv Mercer at the opposite corner, Heath Williams leaning against the ropes a metre or so away from her. The Spencer Cousins are opposite him at the other side of the ring, eyes glued. Henri Black and Nina stand centre ring, while in the final corner, stands the huge, 6’5 Josh Holloway, his eyes take turns staring menacingly at all of his different opponents. Only one competitor is noticeably absent… Andrew Wilkow. “Country Roads” by John Denver starts to play throughout the arena, and the Aussie fans voice their opinions about The Appalachian Mountain Monster in the form of jeers. Amy Maynard: Does Wilkow realize that if he wins this, he has to go on to face the very same man he’s supposed to protect? Sir Figgles: Of course he does, Amy! My bet is that Hearst has instructed Wilkow to participate in this match, so that he doesn’t have to go on to have a fair fight when his title’s on the line! It’s genius if you ask me! As Wilkow comes down the ramp, Holloway steps forward in the ring, and the two lock eyes immediately. Wilkow trudges up the steel steps, and climbs into the ring, the two big men coming face to face with no time to waste. They stare at each other with deep intent, neither man wavering. Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentleman, this match will be contested under Riot Rumble rules. These competitors will battle it out in a ten person elimination falls count anywhere match, until there is only one person left standing. The winner will go on to receive a future Riot Championship match. The bell finally sounds, but nobody moves. Wilkow and Holloway continue their stare down, and everyone watches them in anticipation, who will hit who first? Heath steps forward with a grin on his face, itching his ear lobe. Both big men look over at him, as he points to each of them and shakes his head. He then twirls his finger around, gesturing that the three of them should work together for the time being. The big men then look back at each other, a respective smirk on each of their faces. Then they turn back to Heath, and for a moment, it appears as if they’re going to play along, but instead both deliver him a double big boot, that sends him reeling over. And just like that, the chaos begins. As soon as Heath’s down, Holloway turns to Wilkow, and begins attacking, pushing him back, causing them both to spill out of the ring to the outside. Echo and Saki start going at it, trading blows. Krissy goes straight for the downed Williams, and calls Kelsey over. Together they pull Heath to his feet, then nail him with a double superkick that sends him spiralling over the top rope. Krissy then spots Liv in the corner of her eye, who quickly sneaks out of the ring. Meanwhile, Wilkow and Holloway are brawling their way up the ramp towards the entrance way. Krissy climbs out of the ring, and starts chasing Mercer around the ring. As Kelsey watches Krissy, confused, Henri Black sneaks up behind her, but before he can do anything, Kelsey turns around. She looks at him suspiciously, and he raises his hands in defence. Nina steps forward, and together all three of them lock eyes, before getting into position to go at it triple threat style, the honourable thing to do. On the outside, Mercer’s still being chased by Krissy. As they round the corner, close to where Echo and Saki are brawling on the inside, Mercer slips in under the bottom rope, grabs Echo’s ankles, pulls her down, and yanks her to the outside. Echo doesn’t understand what’s going on until she’s standing on the outside mat, she turns to Mercer, who grins as she runs away. She goes to go after her, but instead turns around on a whim, to be met by the eyes of Krissy Spencer. The two start going at it, as the triple threat action begins in the ring. Everyone seems to have forgotten about Saki though, who sprints towards the ropes, bounces off of them, then comes flying towards Echo and Krissy on the outside with a suicide dive. She perfectly collides with both of them, and all three warriors go sailing to the floor. Mercer watches from the top of the ramp with a grin, and Nina notices, her attention turning away from the triple threat. As Mercer spots Nina staring at her, she slips off backstage. Sir Figgles: Smart move on Mercer’s part, she knows that as long as she isn’t around any of her opponents, she can’t be eliminated! Amy Maynard: It’s sneaky, that’s what it is! The cameras cut backstage for a moment to show Wilkow and Holloway, continuing their brawl off in the halls of the locker room. We come back to the action in the ring, where Nina exits the ring to go and find Liv. Kelsey and Henri are squaring off, taking turns trading blows with each other. Black then goes to kick Spencer, but Kelsey catches it, only to be met with an enzuigiri that sends her to the canvas. As Black comes back up, he wastes no time in going for the brisk cover that only makes the one count. On the outside, Saki quickly covers Krissy, but only gets the two. So, she then goes for the cover on Echo, but again only gets the two. Cameras cut backstage to Nina, looking around the locker room for Mercer. As she turns the corner, she’s met with a face full of baseball bat that sends her to the floor immediately. We quickly become aware that the attack was at the hands of Mercer, who goes for the cover, and gets the three. Nina has been eliminated by Liv Mercer Sir Figgles: See, genius! Amy Maynard: More like despicable. Cameras then cut back to Wilkow and Holloway. Wilkow throws Holloway into a concrete wall, but Holloway brushes it off quickly, and returns the favor. This becomes a battle to see who can ram each other’s head into the wall harder. Back in the ring, Kelsey and Henri are going back and forth, wrestling each other in technical fashion. Spencer gets Black into a side headlock, but Black slips out, takes hold of Spencer’s arm and arches it around the back, locking an arm around her neck. Back on the outside, Heath’s showing life, rocked by those double team maneuvers earlier. As he rises to his feet, he looks around. Black and Spencer are still going at it in the ring, and he considers sliding in for a moment, but decides against it, as he spots Saki on the other side of the ring, getting ready to find a weapon underneath. He goes over to the timekeepers area and takes a hold of a steel chair, walking it around the ring. As he comes around the corner, Saki stands there with her own chair at the ready, she threatens to attack, but Heath stops her, showing her that he too has a chair. He gestures towards the downed Echo and Krissy, and together they each attack respectively. Heath nails Krissy in the spine, while Saki jabs the edge of her chair into Echo’s midsection. For two people who went tow to tow last week, Heath and Saki sure seem to be getting along relatively well, as they each continue at their downed opponents with those chairs. In the ring, Kelsey has slipped out of Black’s hold, grabs his forearm, then pulls him in with ripcord knee strike, and shortly thereafter goes for the cover, picking up the two count. On the outside, Saki goes for another chair shot against Echo, but the Invictus Champ ducks, and the chair hits the barricade. Heath then goes for the attack on Krissy, but his own chair shot misses wildly as she ducks underneath his arms. As Heath turns back around, he’s met with a superkick, and as Saki turns around, she’s met with a pull-back lariat that causes her to fall on top of her own chair. Both Krissy and Echo each go for their own individual pinfall attempts, but each only make the two and a half. Both women rise to their feet and turn their attention towards each other, but Krissy’s focus is diverted, as she glimpses her cousin getting buried into the canvas with an intense scoop powerslam by Black. She picks up the steel chair Heath dropped, and races into the ring, just as Black goes for the cover on Kelsey, and breaks it up at one. Infuriated, Krissy starts attacking Black with the chair. Backstage, we once again see Wilkow and Holloway going at it as men their size do, their hard hitting punches seemingly doing nothing, yet everything to each other, at the same time. It’s clear the effects are setting in, but both men refuse to waver in the slightest. In fact, that’s when Holloway manages to waste Wilkow with a rapid european uppercut, he does it again, and again, then pulls his larger opponent into a fireman’s carry position, before swinging him around into a side slam. Wilkow’s spine crunches into the concrete, and Holloway goes for the cover, but somehow, The Appalachian Mountain Monster manages to lift a shoulder at two and a half. The camera pulls back, and we notice Liv Mercer, bat in hand, head poking around the corner with a sly smirk on her face. She turns around and spots the camera, her smirk quickly fading as she ducks off. We cut back to Echo, who’s looking up at the tron with a grin. She starts walking up the ramp, and disappears off backstage. Meanwhile, in the ring, Krissy’s going at it with Black, that chair in hand, Black narrowly avoiding each shot. As Krissy comes in with another shot, Black dodges, slipping behind her, taking hold, and lifting her into the air, catching her with a german suplex, that like Saki, causes her ribs to collide with the chair on the way down. As she drops it, Black pulls her up with another german, hits that, then goes for another, and hits that too, but as he releases, he walks straight into side kick from Kelsey, then another kick to the midsection, followed up by a super kick, that Black only just manages to get out of arms way from, inching his neck ever so slightly to the right. As Spencer’s foot goes flying past his head, he reaches up and catches it, twisting her so that she go face first towards the canvas, but keeping hold of that foot, dropping down, and swiftly locking in the Memento Mori. Spencer cries out as he applies the pressure, but refuses to submit. Out back, we see Wilkow and Holloway brawling in the fans area, trading punches. Wilkow then takes Holloway by the skull, and rams it into a nearby popcorn stand, as fans nearby cheer on the action, and the guy running the stand flees. Holloway reaches out and grabs a bucket of popcorn, dumping it on top of Wilkow’s head, then nails him with a headbutt, before turning the tides completely and throwing Wilkow into and over the popcorn stand, causing it to go tumbling over, an abundance of freshly popped popcorn pouring out into the floor. Holloway wastes no time in going for the cover, but only gets the two. Meanwhile, elsewhere backstage, we catch Echo walking around in pursuit of Mercer. “Come out, come out, wherever you are.” she calls out, taking hold of a nearby kendo stick that just so happened to be conveniently leant up against the wall. “You can run but you can’t hide, Liv.” Suddenly, Liv comes bursting out of one of the nearby rooms and attempts to bat Echo in the cranium, but the Invictus Champ lifts her kendo and the two weapons collide with each other. They keep this hold for a moment, trying to out power the other, however in the end, it comes down not to their own individual strength, but the strength within each of their respective weapons, as the kendo shows signs of snapping. Mercer grins, fully aware of what’s about to happen, but Echo has a plan B, steps forward, breaks away from the standstill, then slams that kendo across Mercer’s spine, allowing it to split and spew out bits of wood chips through the air. Echo then grabs Mercer by the hair, lifts her to her feet and slams her face first into a nearby stage equipment container. She goes to do it again, but Mercer holds herself in place, before sending a few elbows into Echo’s gut. She then turns the tides, and slams Echo’s face against the container, then takes a step back, grabs Echo from behind, twists her around in position for the straight jacket neckbreaker slam, and nails it, Echo going spine first into the concrete. Mercer immediately goes for the cover, and gets the one, then the two, but doesn’t quite get the three. She rises up in disbelief, and contemplates what to do next, but instead of sticking around, picks up her bat and flees once more. Amy Maynard: Seriously? Couldn’t Liv have gotten Echo there if she had bothered to stay and inflict more damage? Sir Figgles: She’s playing it cool, she knows that Echo could save herself at any time, and doesn’t want to risk any of her attacks being reversed and used against her. Amy Maynard: Hmm. Back in the ring, Black still has that ankle lock applied on Kelsey, who continues to wail out in an immense amount of pain, yet refusing to give up. She starts trying to inch her way towards the ropes, but it’s no use, Black has the maneuver locked in place with no signs of budging. On the outside, Heath is back up, and catches what’s going on in the ring. He eagerly watches for a few moments, but when Kelsey shows no signs of tapping, he slides in, runs over, and kicks Black in the chin, forcing him to let go of the hold. As Black rises, Heath whips him into the corner, then follows up with a fast paced helluva kick, that almost sends Black spilling over the top rope. As Heath takes a step back, Black slumps down into the corner. Heath leans down and grabs Black by the leg, but thinking quickly, The Blackster reaches out, grabs the bottom rope and uses it to pull himself to the outside. Frustratedly, Heath goes to follow, but as he’s half way out of the ring, he stops, and slowly retraces his steps, before turning around and eyeing out Kelsey Spencer, who’s at the other end of the ring, using the ropes to pull herself up. He slowly stalks forward, and when she turns around, she limps straight into a kick in the stomach. He reaches over and takes her arms, readies himself for Frozen Over, but instead Spencer pushes through, taking Heath down, and hooking both of his legs. She manages the two count, but right before she can get the three, she has no choice but to let go, can’t keep all her body weight down thanks to that ankle. Heath’s shocked for a moment, but he quickly takes notice of the way Kelsey’s clutching her ankle upon release. Like a vulture, Heath flies in, grabs Kelsey’s ankle, then drives it into the canvas with a foot DDT. Kelsey yelps, then Heath gets up and drives a knee down into it. After that he takes a hold of it, and twists Kelsey over onto her stomach, locking in an ankle lock of his own. We cut backstage again, and once more the big men are going at it, this time inside the gift shop. This is the first time we’ve seen Wilkow without the popcorn bucket on his head since the headbutt, so it’s now clear that it’s been busted open, blood dripping down his nose. Customers and employees alike flee the room as the two brawl, both colliding with, and knocking over a set of shelves packed with MWE merchandise. As they fall to the floor, Wilkow takes a commemorative MWE steel chair with faces of many of the Riot roster imprinted on the seat, and rises to his knees, driving the chair into Holloway’s skull. He goes for the cover, but it’s no use, Holloway kicks out. He then places the chair directly on Holloway’s face, and sends down a thunderous boot. He goes for the cover again, no dice, kick out at two and a half. He punches the ground out of pure anger. Amy Maynard: Why is Wilkow going solely for Holloway? There are plenty of other people he could try to eliminate. Sir Figgles: You don’t get it, do you? In fact, there’s got to be more than one reason. The first is that Hearst probably said to Wilkow that he needs to take Holloway out by any means necessary. And the second is that, when these big men get into a fight with each other, they just can’t stop until there’s a clear victor. Giants want to pummel other giants, because it makes them feel like more of a giant. Amy Maynard: I see. We cut elsewhere to Echo walking along, once again in search of Mercer. She finds something, but it’s not Mercer. It’s Nina, surrounded by EMTs. Echo rushes over and takes a knee beside her. “What happened?” she asks inquisitively. “Liv. Bat. Face,” Nina responds with a croak. Echo nods. “I’ll find her.” Echo rises and continues her search. We then cut to a locker room, where Liv sits, trying to bandage herself up, her back bright red from that kendo shot. She winces as she does her best to get the roll of bandages up around her shoulder. “Come on Mercer, get your ass out here!” we hear Echo’s voice down the hall. Mercer keeps herself still and quiet, waiting for Echo to pass, and as we can tell from her voice as she continues to call out, she does. Mercer takes a deep breath, and slowly creeps towards the door, but SURPRISE! Echo kicks the door down and storms in, a grimace plastered across her face. “Reckon you could hide from me, ay?” Mercer’s eyes dart over to her bat, that’s propped up beside the door, right beside Echo. Echo follows Mercer’s eye movement, and takes hold of the bat. “This what you’re looking for?” There’s a momentary mexican standoff before Echo charges at Mercer with the bat in hand, she swings and Mercer ducks, then she swings again, and Mercer ducks once more. Mercer slips passed, and out the door, Echo hot on her tail. Back to what’s happening in the ring, Heath still has his ankle lock applied, but that doesn’t mean Kelsey’s not struggling against it, trying her best to get to those ropes for some sort of leverage. Meanwhile on the outside, Saki’s back up, and has her eyes set on Henri Black, who’s also starting to push back up to his feet. Inside the ring, Krissy’s now showing life as well, her eyes directed straight at Heath. She sprints over and takes the fight to him, forcing him to let go of the hold, and they begin trading blows. Saki leaps up onto the steel steps, then flies forward with a dropkick that socks Black, causing him to stumble backwards to the floor. She follows over, and as he’s rising to his feet, she kicks him in the face. Again. And again. Then she begins taking everything off of the commentary table. Amy Maynard: Oh no, what’s Saki planning? Sir Figgles: Gosh damn it, doesn’t anybody realize that we WORK at these tables?! Does nobody care about the job of a wrestling commentator?! Breaking the table makes our jobs so much harder! Saki tears the lid off the table, and disposes of it, then swipes everything else off, computers, equipment, papers etc, and takes hold of a monitor. She grins, as she carries it towards Black, who’s getting to his feet. As he turns, Saki hurls it at him, and it hits him straight in the chest. He staggers backwards, gasping for air, and leans up against the barricade, breathing very heavily, that strike with the monitor must have winded him. Saki’s not done there however, and climbs up onto the ring apron, as far as she could possibly be from Black. Though, she doesn’t keep her distance for long, and runs the course of the apron, leaping off as she reaches the end, and hitting such a thumping Cotton Candy Kiss of Death that sends both she and Black pouring over the barricade. On the way down however, it appears as though Saki’s elbow collides dangerously against the concrete. She writhes around, clasping it tight, holding her back from going for the cover. Back in the ring, Heath and Krissy are still going at it as Kelsey sits in the corner, trying her best to recover some feeling into that ankle. Heath whips Krissy towards the ropes, and the Empress of Darkness uses this to her advantage, bouncing and leaping off of them, coming back with Air Crazy. As Heath bounces from the impact of that stunner, he staggers backwards, and spins around in a full circle, where Krissy awaits to hit him with Hand Of The Wicked, however right before the punch can get him in the heart, he lifts both hands, catching the fist and tossing it aside. Krissy snarls, as does Heath, and once again the two continue brawling. We cut to a backstage hallway, where a stagehand stands eating a hotdog. Mercer comes flying by, and bumps him on the way past, causing him to lose control of the hotdog, now choking on it. She pays him no mind, and continues down the hall. Echo comes running by as well, and probably would have flown past him too, had it not been for his unmistakable choking. She stops, and gives three hard pats on the back, and the hotdog goes flying out of his mouth. He smiles and thanks her, and she continues on her way, a considerable distance between her and Mercer now. Over outside the barricade, Saki’s pushing through the pain, and rises to her feet, going over and giving Black a few stomps to the midsection. She then takes a small bag that had been strapped to her side, and opens it up, pouring the contents out onto the floor. Thumbtacks. Lot’s of them. She grins devilishly, and goes over to the barricade, climbing on top and sizing up for another meteora. Sir Figgles: The Kawaii Deathmachine’s about to Cotton Candy Kiss Black straight into all those thumbtacks! Amy Maynard: Uh oh, this doesn’t look good for The Blackster! As Saki comes flying off the barricade with her knees up, ready to hit that finisher, Black staggers to the side, causing the Singapore Mauler to go knee first into her own thumbtacks. She doesn’t have much time to react however, as the moment she hits, Black nails her in the back of the head with the Black Sacrament, a huge pop from the crowd that has accepted Black as one of their own. He rolls Saki over onto her shoulders, right on top of those tacks, and goes for the cover, picking up the three. Saki has been eliminated by Henri Black Amy Maynard: Well, it looks like we’ve got two down, seven more to go ‘till we crown the new number one contender! Sir Figgles: Whoa, only two?! Think about how much more carnage we’re gonna see take place! Back in the ring, Heath and Krissy are still going at it, though it seems they’re both starting to run out of steam, their movements a lot less fluid than they were previously. Heath attempts a clothesline, but Krissy ducks, comes around behind him, takes a hold, and hits the Handful of Fun. She goes for the cover with both legs hooked, but only gets the two. She looks over at her cousin, who’s still tending to her ankle, it appears to be quite badly bruised thanks to the likes of Henri Black, and Heath Williams. Krissy takes a hold of Heath’s forearm, and starts attempting to pull him to his feet, but as he gets to his knees, he takes a hold of her waist, and yanks her towards the ropes, swiftly leaping through the top and middle ropes to the apron, then tipping himself upside down, taking a hold of Krissy’s legs with his arms, and her arms with his legs, the tarantula submission hold locked in with no count to break. Kelsey takes notice, and tries to get to her feet, but she just can’t put any weight on it, and slumps back down. She starts crawling over, and has no choice but to drag her ankle along the canvas if she wants to rescue her cousin from devastating hold. She doesn’t need to make it however, as Heath gets nailed with a punch to the back, courtesy of Henri Black, who’s now back in the fold. Heath releases the hold, and crumbles to the floor. As the camera closes in, it becomes apparent that Black is sporting a nice, shiny pair of brass knuckles. Krissy turns around, and Black leaps up onto the apron, sending a brass knucked punch straight to the jaw. Krissy staggers, and Black slips into the ring. Krissy bounces off the opposite ropes and sprints forward, but runs straight into a shoulder jawbreaker. He looks to go for the cover, but something stops him… Kelsey Spencer forces herself up to her feet, on the tip toe of her injured foot. Black nods. Henri vs. Kelsey 2 is about to take place, the second time in this one match. The fans cheer, mostly for their home country hero, but Black still gets a few out of respect. In response to the fans, Spencer leans out a hand, to which Black briskly shakes. The two then begin circling the ring, and Black charges straight for that ankle… But before we can catch wind of the aftermath, we cut to the gift shop, where Wilkow and Holloway are still throwing lazy jabs and hooks at one another. Wilkow gets in a stern forearm to the face, that causes Holloway to stumble into the shop window. It cracks a little, but not by much… that is until Wilkow charges in tackle formation, the glass window shattering as the large men go catapulting through it. Both are dazed on the ground, but Wilkow manages to get a single hand on top Holloway’s shoulder. This results in a very near three count, but at the very last millisecond, Holloway raises his free shoulder. Wilkow rolls over onto his back, heavy breaths, shards of glass scattered on the ground around them. We cut back to another hallway, Echo still in search of Mercer. She opens a door and peers inside, but no sign of Mercer. However, as Echo goes to shut the door, it slams straight into her right arm, forcing her to drop the bat, all thanks to a missile dropkick performed by Mercer from the top of one of those equipment containers. Echo shouts in pain, her shoulder appears to be in a bad way, out of place and dislocated. Mercer grins, and gets up off the floor, and staggers over to Echo, but before she can do anything, Echo’s glare forces her to glue her feet in place. Echo grabs her injured arm, and without batting so much as an eyelid, pops it back into place with a grunt. Mercer’s eyes bulge, and she scurries off down the hall, as Echo rises to her feet. Amy Maynard: Wow! Look at the dexterity of Echo, literally popping that dislocated arm back in place! Sir Figgles: And just like that, the cat and mouse game continues. Back to the action in the ring, Black’s trying his best to go after that injured ankle of Kelsey’s, but The Marathon Kid’s not having a bar of it, she knows full well that if Black gets a hold of that ankle, her victory’s gone out the window. She also has the challenge of avoiding those brass knuck shots. Thankfully, due his back and forth with Saki earlier, Black’s movements aren’t quite as rapid as they were previously, meaning Spencer has a fighting chance. Then, all of a sudden, Black changes it up, and slides along the canvas, attempting to get that ankle, but Spencer lifts it just in time and dodges the attack. As Black rises to his feet, he’s met with a stern superkick, that forces Kelsey to put all her weight on that bad ankle, ultimately giving way and falling to the canvas after the impact. Black goes sailing across the ring on spaghetti legs, and stumbles straight into Hand Of The Wicked. Krissy goes for the cover, hooking a single leg. She gets the three. Henri Black has been eliminated by Kristina Spencer Amy Maynard: What?! The Blackster eliminated?! Sir Figgles: Just goes to show that anything can happen in the Riot Rumble Krissy doesn’t have long to celebrate though, because as she stands, she gets hammered with a sudden Frozen Over from a recovered Williams. However, before he can get the cover, Krissy uses some ring awareness, and rolls out of the ring. Heath’s frustrated for a moment, until he looks around the vicinity, perhaps things have fallen to his advantage here. He smiles sadistically, as he rises to his feet, his eyes on Kelsey, but his body headed for Black, who hasn’t moved in the slightest since his elimination. He takes Black’s wrist, and slips off the knucks, putting them on his own fist. He then pulls Black to his feet, and tosses him to the outside. Slowly, he walks one foot after the other to Kelsey, who glares at him with a scowl to match. Using the ropes, Kelsey pulls herself to her feet, and wastes no time, charging in as fast as she can, even on that bad leg, she knows that the only way to get Heath down is by catching him off guard. It seems as though he predicted this however, and punches her sternly in the gut with those knucks, before whipping her to the opposite corner, and following up with a helluva kick. She slumps into the bottom corner, but just when you think Heath’s going to end it, he doesn’t, and for some reason rolls to the outside. He pulls Krissy to her feet, and hammers in a few knucked hooks, before tossing her into the side of the commentary table. He then rolls her on top of it, and heads back over to the ring, fishing underneath the apron and pulling out a steel chair. He slams it down on Krissy a few times, then rolls back into the ring underneath the bottom rope. He takes the edge of the chair, and buries it deep into Kelsey’s ankle, causing her to cry out vehemently. He then sets the chair up right in front of her, over her legs, and sits on it so that he’s looking down at her. “The only thing more fun than physically abusing you, Spencer,” Heath says nonchalantly, his head tilted. “Is physically abusing the ones you love, and making you watch.” Heath rises from his seat, backs up a few steps, then rapidly sprints forward, jumping onto that chair, then leaping over to the ropes, and skyrocketing off, colliding with Krissy, both of them going through the commentary table. Amy Maynard: TRIPLE JUMP LEGDROP! Sir Figgles: No! Heath! Why would you break our work station like that?! You know what? Screw it! That was awesome! Amy Maynard: Despite being totally evil, even I can’t deny that, that was an OMG moment! Heath lazily scrambles over to Krissy, and hooks the leg, picking up the three. Kristina Spencer has been eliminated by Heath Williams Amy Maynard: Hold on a second… look up at the ring… The camera floats over to the ring, and there Kelsey Spencer stands, a look of complete and utter fury sitting on her face, chair in hand. Heath looks up, then stands, and grins. “Let’s see how fast you are on that bung leg, huh little fantail?” he calls out, right before sprinting around the corner of the ring, then around the other, and up the ramp. Spencer follows, climbing out of the ring and hobbling up the ramp with her chair in hand. Amy Maynard: This is the first time we’ve seen Kelsey leave the ring this entire match! Sir Figgles: Could prove to be a mistake on her part, despite the havoc in and around the ring, at least she was surviving, and relatively safe in the confines of the squared circle. Backstage, Liv’s running around, as Echo calls out in search. She finds a janitor’s closet, and quickly hides inside. Moments later, Echo comes walking past, still calling out and looking around. She eventually passes, and Mercer slowly opens the door ajar, peeking out. The coast is clear. She’s finally lost her. She safely comes out of the room, and walks off in the opposite direction to the way Echo went, and the cameras follow. She sneaks around, treading ever so carefully, like a cat in the night. She comes across an unguarded laptop, shuts the lid, unplugs the charger and takes it with her. Not the most ideal weapon, but could come in handy. She pushes forward down the hall, and comes to a corner, that when she passes, Heath emerges from. They both raise their guards, Liv with the laptop, and Heath with the knucks. Neither person strikes, and instead, Heath tilts his head, gesturing that they go on ahead together. Mercer takes a step back, and allows him to pass, letting him take the lead. Though, as he does, Mercer swiftly comes in, and readies herself to bash Heath over the head. He turns around just in the knick of time however, and she freezes in position. Although it seems as if he was about to say something, instead he opts for silence, frowns for a moment, then takes a few steps back, now walking alongside his untrustworthy ally. We cut to Kelsey Spencer limping along with that steel chair in hand, she’s a woman on a mission now, nothing holding her back, not even that badly bruised ankle. Like Mercer did, Spencer comes to a corner, where she bumps into Echo, though unlike Mercer and Williams, neither competitor raises their guard. Instead they stare at each other for a few moments, until Echo gives Spencer a nod. “You’re Aussie born too, yeah?” she asks. “Born AND raised,” Kelsey replies, smirking. The fans immediately cheer, the thought of their two home country heroes teaming up really getting their engines revved. “I think we better give ‘em what they want,” Kelsey adds. Echo smiles, and together the two Aussie natives pound their fists together, before walking off down the hall side by side. Amy Maynard: Now that makes for an epic pairing! Sir Figgles: Eh, one of them’s gonna have to turn on the other eventually. We finally return to Wilkow and Holloway, only now are both men finally getting up after crashing through that gift shop window. Wilkow’s on one knee, while Holloway’s still on all fours, both strictly denying any sort of medical aid. Together, Williams and Mercer enter the scenario, both stop as they approach the big men, and take in the scenery. Mercer appears rather shocked, but Heath loves it, a sick grin plastered across his face. He walks further forward, and takes turns looking at each giant before him. For a moment, it appears as though he’s going to kick Wilkow in the face, but changes his mind, and instead stomps Holloway’s face into the ground, right into the glass. He points at Wilkow. “Get up, we’re going to need you for this.” Wilkow spits down at Heath’s boots. Heath grits his teeth, and leans forward. “You want to get rid of this big ass bastard, or what?! Seems like that’s been your main goal so far, haven’t done so good on your own.” Wilkow snarls, but takes Heath’s words into consideration. “Fine.” The Appalachian Mountain Monster pushes himself to his feet, and together he and Heath start trying to get Holloway up. It’s difficult though, even with the two of them, that’s a lot of dead weight to lift. After a few moments of trying some different lifting techniques, they eventually get The Executioner to his feet. However, the moment he’s up, he snaps back into reality, and sends a backhand straight into Wilkow’s jaw, then throws a right hook at Heath, grabs him, and attempts to bury Heath’s spine into all that glass, but as he’s lifting him in the air, Mercer comes up behind, and slams that laptop straight over the back of Holloway’s skull. This gives Heath the opportunity he needs to jump down, take a step back, then fire a heavy shot straight to Holloway’s face with those knucks. The War Machine staggers backwards, straight into the arms of Wilkow. Heath gestures that Wilkow and Mercer follow him, and they do, over to the outside of the entryway to the main part of the arena, right before the long set of stairs that lead all the way down to the ring. Wilkow’s dragging Holloway along and struggling, as Heath goes over and takes a table that had been set up by a nearby wall. He positions it so that it’s set up right before the entry. “Pass him here,” Heath instructs, and Wilkow tosses Holloway over to him. “When I hold him up, you’re going to throw Liv into him, okay? “What?!” Mercer says in defense. “Just go with it,” Wilkow chimes in. Liv reluctantly agrees, and Heath drags Holloway over so that they’re perfectly in front of the table. Mercer and Wilkow take a few steps back. With a huge war cry, Williams lifts The Executioner high up in the air in a suplex position. Amy Maynard: Whoa, what strength we’re seeing from Williams here! Sir Figgles: It’s not often that we see Williams use his strength like this, mostly because it’s not often we see him duking it out with somebody so much bigger than he is! And Heath is by no means a small man. “NOW!” Heath shouts with an immense strain in his voice. Upon that instruction, Wilkow takes Mercer by the waist, and with no time to spare, launches her like a cannon into the air. As she’s flying, she changes her body formation, and fires Holloway with a flying crossbody. As she connects, Williams drops backwards, and Holloway’s sent crashing through the table. But not even that keeps him down… he immediately flies straight back up to his feet. However, as he does, he spins heel, swinging a wild punch at nothing, then trips over Mercer, and goes tumbling down the steps, the phone cameras of fans capturing the entire thing. “HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!” the fans chant over and over. A fatigued Andrew Wilkow trudges down the steps, and arrives at the platform Holloway halted on. He rests a single foot on Holloway’s chest, but somehow, Holloway lifts it a few inches, so Wilkow forces down all of his body weight, until the ref counts the three. Josh Holloway has been eliminated by Andrew Wilkow Amy Maynard: Wow… that was nuts… Sir Figgles: Holloway just didn’t wanna go down, but Wilkow in the end, gave him no choice. “MERCER!” a voice shouts from up in the fans area. The cameras cut to the source of the voice, and there stand Echo and Kelsey Spencer side by side. Mercer looks up, and quickly jumps to her feet, darting off outside the building, Echo in hot pursuit. This leaves Heath and Kelsey. Heath stands and the two begin a staredown, Heath with his knucks at the ready, and Kelsey with the chair. Despite Kelsey having that chair, it’s unclear just who has the advantage here, due to that injured ankle. They start circling the surrounding vicinity, neither competitor yet making a move. We cut back to Wilkow, he’s walking back up the stairs, presumably to be the game changer in Kelsey vs. Heath - but something catches his attention, the ringing cell phone of a nearby fan. He stops and frowns, and watches as the fan answers with a frown on her face. She has a quick, quiet conversation with somebody on the other end, but the cameras can’t quite pick up the audio. She seems rather surprised by this call, and ultimately quite freaked out. With a nervous smile, she takes a step forward and hands the phone to Wilkow. He puts the phone to his ear and listens in. “Really?” he says. “You sure? All right, boss.” Wilkow hangs the phone up, and hands it back to the fan, before changing course and heading towards the ring. Sir Figgles: I get it! Amy Maynard: Care to explain? Sir Figgles: Oh come on, it doesn’t take a genius to figure it out! The Riot Champ’s given his bodyguard some instructions! Amy Maynard: You’re saying that was Devin Hearst on the phone? Sir Figgles: Sure was! Amy Maynard: ...but how did he get that fans number? Sir Figgles: Who cares! Don’t question it, Amy, you’ll go crazy! Wilkow climbs over the barricade, and up the steel steps, where he gets into the ring and sits down in the corner, awaiting someone to come on down and challenge him. Meanwhile, back up in the fans area, Heath and Kelsey are still circling, until Heath takes a gamble and sprints forward, attempting a straight jab with the knucks, but Spencer lifts the chair to block, and Heath’s fist connects straight with the steel. He takes a step back, clasping his hand, then decides to retreat and make way for the main part of the arena. Spencer follows, but he’s too quick, and disappears through the crowd. We cut to the parking lot, where the cat and mouse game between Echo and Mercer continues. Mercer’s darting around cars, stepping across the hoods, doing whatever she can in order to get away from Echo, who’s doing all of the above as well. Mercer starts to make some good distance between them, and when she’s out of sight, she ducks in between two cars and crouches. She waits it out for a little bit, until she can no longer hear Echo stepping along the cars. She peeks out, Echo’s gone. The coast is clear… Or so she thought, because as she turns around, she’s blindsided by Echo’s forearm. Echo then takes a hold of Mercer’s head, and slams it against the hood of the nearby red Nissan Primera. She then rolls her on top, pulls her to her feet, and nails her with The Reverb right on top of that car hood. She hooks the leg, and gets the three. Liv Mercer has been eliminated by Echo Amy Maynard: And just like that, we’re down to four! Sir Figgles: Aw man, but I was such a big fan of Liv’s game plan in that one… “Hey, that’s my car!” a nearby fan calls out, as Echo steps down off the car. She walks over, reaching into her back pocket. She pulls out her wallet, and as she draws near to the fan, the expression on his face changes from one of anger, to delight. “Holy crap, you’re Echo!” he says excitedly. Echo opens up the wallet, grabs out a wad of cash and dumps it in the fan’s hand. “That cover it?” she asks with a sniff. “Heck yeah! Thank you so much! I’m a huge fan by the way!” Echo gives the fan a pat on the back. “That’s great, Jim. But hey, I’ve got a match to go win. Look after yourself, all right mate?” The fan nods, the whole scenario still sinking in, as Echo heads off back towards the arena. We cut back to the ring, where Wilkow sits silently, still waiting for a challenger to find him. Then we cut to the audience, Kelsey’s walking around with the chair, weaving in and out, between all the people, on the prowl for Heath. Fans give Kelsey pats on the back as she passes, but she’s too focused on finding Williams. She comes to a very suspicious looking fan, a newspaper out in front of them, their face unseen. Spencer frowns, and lifts the chair, ready to smash it down on Heath’s head. “Wait, that’s my grandma!” a child sitting beside the newspaper wielding fan cries. Kelsey stops, and the fan lowers the newspaper. The kid wasn’t lying, because behind the newspaper, sits a tiny, little old lady wearing rounded spectacles. She’s none the wiser about what was about to happen. “Jeez, I’m so sorry!” Kelsey says apologetically. As Kelsey apologizes, the fan behind her, in the row ahead, turns around. Except it’s not a fan at all. It’s Heath. He takes the cup of beer in his hand, and pours it all over Kelsey’s head. She’s shocked for a moment, the cold, alcoholic beverage dripping from her nose. She clenches her teeth and spins around, but Heath’s already halfway to the steps. She quickly follows, and eventually breaks free of the crowd, where she walks straight into a huge brass knucked backhand. She falls to the floor, right in front of some fans, and even drops the chair in the process. Heath readies himself to follow up the attack, but his plans are foiled, as the fans blow up in a frenzy of cheers, and Echo comes sliding down the railing of the stairs. She tilts all her weight forward, and comes flying off with a huge clothesline that sends Heath to the concrete. She hops off, and goes over to check on Kelsey, who confirms that though dazed, is all right. She helps Kelsey to her feet with a single pull of the hand, and they both set their sights on Williams, who’s on his knees, blinking rapidly, his world rocked by that clothesline. As Echo and Kelsey take a few steps down, Heath comes to his senses and hoists himself up via the railing. He backs up with his hands out, as Echo and Kelsey draw nearer. He looks around, and spots Wilkow in the ring, still waiting for a challenger. He grins and darts down the steps, Echo in full pursuit, Kelsey lagging behind a little because of her ankle. He jumps the barricade and slides into the ring, and Wilkow immediately rises to his feet, ready to pounce. Heath quickly raises his hands out in front of him, then points over at Echo and Kelsey, who are now entering the ring. Wilkow doesn’t like it, but he understands Heath’s point. However, as he takes a step forward, Heath comes up behind him, and rolls him up into a pinning predicament. Sir Figgles: There’s one of those split second decisions we’ve heard Heath talk about in the past! Heath gets the one, then the two, then the two and a half… but Wilkow uses all of the strength in his legs to push, and send Williams flying straight into Echo, who delivers a swift Reverb. She stands up for a moment, and gestures towards Heath while looking at Kelsey, as if to ask “you wanna take this one?”. But instead, Kelsey leans up against the corner with a grin, two hands behind her head without a care in the world, the ultimate disrespect to her arch nemesis. Echo shrugs, drops down, and hooks the leg, picking up the three count. Heath Williams has been eliminated by Echo Sir Figgles: What?! No way! Now Heath’s out too?! Amy Maynard: Only three participants remain! Sir Figgles: The rest of my money rests solely on the shoulders of Wilkow now. Amy Maynard: Are you kidding?! We’ve just seen Echo take out both Liv Mercer, AND Heath Williams! Not to mention, you can’t count out Kelsey either, she’s a true survivalist. Together, Echo and Kelsey get Heath up and dispose of him to the outside of the ring. They then turn their attention to Wilkow, who’s now up and on both feet. He’s aware of the numbers disadvantage here, and stances himself in preparation. Echo charges at him first, a shoulder block in mind to cut the tree down, but Wilkow catches her right before she hits, quickly lifts her into the air, then drops her with a fallaway slam. As he rises to his feet, he finds Spencer charging at him this time, so he grabs her, lifts her high into the air above his head, directs her to the outside and throws her with a forceful gorilla press, sending her into the barricade right before the front row. She goes down with a thud, and collapses into a heap on the floor, the fans booing thunderously. He sets his sights on Echo once more, and walks over, grabbing her by her ring gear and bring the Invictus Champ to her feet, only to be met with a solid right hook. As he stumbles back and spins around in disorientation, Echo takes him from behind, and uses all of the strength she can muster in order to drop the giant with an incredible german suplex. Amy Maynard: Wow! Check out that power shown by our Invictus Champion! Sir Figgles: Impressive, I gotta admit, but ain’t no way that’s gonna keep a guy like Andrew Wilkow down. As soon as she let’s go, Echo clasps her lower back, that sort of heavy lifting can’t be good for anybody. She battles through it however, and finds her way back to her feet. Wilkow’s not too far, a few inches away flat on his back, though still conscious. She rushes over, violently takes his heel and starts kicking away at it, before pulling it into a Heel Hook. She pulls and yanks at it as aggressively as she can, causing The Appalachian Mountain Monster to grunt and seethe. He uses his long arms reach to try and pry away Echo’s grip, but she’s refusing to let go, she wants to prove something, and make that damn giant tap. Amy Maynard: Echo’s third elimination of the night just a submission away! Sir Figgles: Come on Wilkow! Don’t you dare tap! I already lost fifty on Liv, Heath, Holloway, Black, AND Saki… respectively! Don’t make me lose fifty on you as well! Amy Maynard: Is that seriously how you gamble? Echo continues to apply that pressure, throwing in a few elbows every so often to keep the pain flowing. Wilkow can’t handle it anymore, he’s clawing at his own head, nearly pulling his hair out. However, almost like he has a guardian angel watching over him, a seriously pissed off Liv Mercer slides into the ring to heavy jeers from the fans. Just as Echo notices Mercer’s presence, she’s fired with a baseball bat to the head, no choice but to let go immediately. Stunned, Echo does her best to try and find her footing, but it’s tough, she’s seeing stars all over the place. Eventually, she gets to her feet, only to walk into another shot from that bat of Mercer’s. She spins around, and is sent reeling when Wilkow comes at her with the LARIAAAAT. As Mercer exits, Wilkow crawls over for the cover, and manages the three. Echo has been eliminated by Andrew Wilkow Sir Figgles: Dayum! That was some nice teamwork by Mercer and Wilkow! Amy Maynard: Teamwork?! You call that teamwork?! Liv’s not even in the match anymore! You can’t consider that teamwork! Sir Figgles: Two people, Liv and Andrew, worked together to eliminate Echo. That’s the DEFINITION of teamwork, Maynard! Amy Maynard: ...sometimes your logic is so baffling that it actually makes sense… Wilkow slides himself back into the corner, heavy breaths, as he tends to his ankle, shades of the situation earlier with Kelsey. The fans boo heavily at the ramp, where the Riot Champ, Devin Hearst has decided to pay Wilkow a visit. He stands still, watching eagerly, as Kelsey finally starts to show some life after that hellacious gorilla press. It’s now one on one, we’re down to the final two competitors, Kelsey Spencer, and Andrew Wilkow, these two MWE stars are making history at this moment, whether they realize it or not. Wilkow rolls to the outside, as Kelsey climbs to a seated position. He storms over as fast as he can on his newly hurt foot, but it’s an obvious challenge. He reaches Spencer, and yanks her to her feet, before dragging her back towards the ring. But The Marathon Kid has other plans, as she releases herself from Wilkow’s grip, and gives him a heavy push straight to the spine and that sends him crashing midsection first into the apron. As he leans up against the apron, Kelsey fires several kicks his way, fast paced so that she doesn’t have to rest her weight on the injured ankle for too long. She then fires some stern chops right into his chest. We cut to Hearst for a moment, he doesn’t appear to be very pleased, a stiffened upper lip. Spencer goes for another chop, but Wilkow grabs the sides of her head, and smashes his own skull against hers. Maybe not the best idea, considering he only increases the flow of blood from his already open wound. It does appear to have rocked Spencer though, as she stumbles backwards into the barricade, her eyes widened, the crimson of Wilkow’s blood printed against her forehead. He then charges, and knocks her clean off her feet with a massive big boot that sends her over the barrier and into the first row. We cut to Hearst at the top of the ramp again, who now has a grin in place of that stiff lip. Wilkow rests against the barricade for a few moments, that last big boot was done with his bad leg. The fans in the front row check on Kelsey, but she seems pretty far gone, completely dazed. A few more moments pass of Wilkow trying to get feeling into his ankle, and once he finally does, he reaches over the barricade to get a hold of his opponent, but instead Spencer comes popping up with one of the fans chairs in hand, and delivers the edge of it straight into Wilkow’s chin, a steel chair uppercut if you will. He staggers backwards into the ring post, and Spencer climbs to the top of the barrier, before launching herself off with a knee out, connecting straight with Wilkow’s head, burying it deeper into that post. As Spencer comes sailing down, she lands hard on that ankle. As for Wilkow, the post can no longer hold him in place, he goes stumbling backwards, around the corner. Right before he collapses, he reaches out and takes hold of the bottom rope to hold him in place, but it’s clear that he’s shook, his mind not all there after that knee strike. Both competitors now have no choice but to try and recover as best they can before this bout can continue. Hearst’s not happy at all, he’s seething. The two Riot Rumble finalists finally, after quite some time, begin to collect themselves. It must have been several minutes before Wilkow could stand without the aid of the rope, and Spencer at all. Wilkow rolls into the ring, just as Kelsey does, and both of them battle their way to their feet. They come face to face, Wilkow towering the much smaller Spencer. Sir Figgles: It’s David vs. Goliath, and I know Wilkow’s all about rewriting biblical history! Amy Maynard: Is he actually? Or are you just making stuff up again? Wilkow shoots an arm out, and takes Spencer by the throat, quickly trying to lift her into the air with a chokeslam in mind, but Spencer breaks free and lands to the side, where she’s able to perfectly lift a leg up and sock Wilkow with the superkick. He staggers for a moment, but doesn’t go down, so Kelsey tries for another one, but Wilkow tosses it aside, sends a boot into her stomach, then hoists her up in position for Country Roads. But before he can set the finisher in motion, Kelsey drops, hooking her arm around Wilkow’s neck, and bringing him down with a sudden Deprivation DDT. She then musters all her strength, to roll Wilkow over onto his shoulders, and go for the final cover of the match. She gets the one, and the two, but can’t quite get the three, Wilkow’s mission etched deeply into his brain. Hearst’s seen enough, he drops the Riot Championship at the top of the ramp, then rips off his jacket and storms down towards the ring. As he hops up onto the apron, the referee runs over, begging him not to intervene, because although it’s TECHNICALLY not against the rules, no one wants to see this monumental match end with a screwy finish. Hearst tries his best to enter regardless though, and Spencer forces herself to her feet, egging the Riot Champ on, signalling that he’s welcome to come on in. However, little does she know, right behind her is Andrew Wilkow, slowly climbing to his feet. After a few moments he finally achieves his goal, and wastes no time in charging forward. In just the knick of time, as if she could feel the vibrations in the air shift behind her, she quickly leaps out of the way, causing Wilkow to go crashing into the referee, and the referee to go crashing into Hearst. Hearst goes flying towards the ramp, losing his shades on the way down. Refusing to let go of her momentum, Spencer rises back to her feet, and rushes over, sending a kick straight into the back of Wilkow’s calf muscle. He’s forced to take a knee, then she pulls him backwards, and locks in the Dragon Sleeper. However, she modifies it in such a way where she has her healthy foot pressed up against the injured ankle of Wilkow’s. She yanks his neck backwards, as another referee on hand slides into the ring. The camera closes in on Wilkow’s face, it’s turning a slight tinge of purple, but he refuses to submit. He reaches out, trying to get a handful of Kelsey’s face, but she tilts her neck so far back that his arm span can’t quite make the journey. Wilkow’s movements start to slow down very rapidly. He can’t keep going. The official has no choice but to call for the bell, between the head pain and the ankle pain, Wilkow has passed out. Andrew Wilkow has been eliminated by Kelsey Spencer WINNER: Kelsey Spencer BY: Submission (Dragon Sleeper), 39:22 |
Sir Figgles:
No! My paycheck!
Amy Maynard:
Wooooo! Would you listen to that, Fig?!
The Australian fans are cheering their hearts out, giving Spencer a standing ovation as she releases the Dragon Sleeper adopted from her husband, Christian Michaels.
The bell sounds and “CA In July” by The Bombpops can barely be heard passed the frenzied cheers from the crowd. Kelsey’s in shock, she can hardly believe it. She’s done the unthinkable, she’s outlasted nine other competitors, and can now call herself the number one contender to Devin Hearst’s Riot Championship. She claws herself to her feet, and staggers over to the corner nearest the ramp, before climbing on top and raising her arms in victory as the fans shower her in praise. She looks over at Hearst, who’s now on his feet, backing up the ramp. She stares down at him, and makes one simple gesture, to her waist. She wants that Riot Championship, and she wants Hearst to know it.
But seemingly out of thin air, we hear a loud, raspy cackle trying to blend in with “CA in July”. After a couple moments, Kelsey’s theme music dies out, and now all that can be heard is the incessant laughter. Kelsey limps down from the turnbuckle, and everyone sets their sights over at Heath Williams, who has himself backed up against the barricade on the outside, near the broken commentary table. Kelsey frowns in confusion, as does Hearst from the ramp. Heath pushes the mic further towards his lips.
Heath Williams:
Stupid little girl… STUPID LITTLE GIRL…
Heath turns his attention from Kelsey, to Hearst.
Heath Williams:
AND stupid little champion… heh… heh… heh…
Amy Maynard:
What the hell is Heath doing?!
Sir Figgles:
Shh… listen…
Heath Williams:
I guess first things first, congratulations are in order. So, congratulations Kelsey Spencer on winning the Riot Rumble, really impressive stuff, even if it was mostly just luck, YOU have earned the right to a FUTURE Riot Championship match…
Heath smirks, and props himself up further, his forearm resting against the barrier.
Heath Williams:
Spencer, I know you know me well enough by now that you know when I say something, you really have to hone in on the key words… so, I’m sure you noticed the extra emphasis on the word “FUTURE”. You see, receiving a FUTURE title opportunity, doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get it next week, and it certainly doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to get it at the PPV either. I mean, FUTURE could mean anything, right? It could mean next week, it could mean next month… hell, if you want to look that deep into it, it could even mean next year.
Kelsey rubs a hand over her sweat drenched face, she’s slowly becoming more aware that her victory just now, may not be quite as straightforward as she would have liked.
Heath Williams:
Now, I don’t know much about all that, I can’t say for sure when you’ll be getting your title match, but what I DO know, is that when it does happen, you’re not going to be challenging Devin Hearst.
Hearst frowns, and leans up against the apron, he’s all ears.
Heath Williams:
Oh yeah, you heard that correctly Hearst, because next week, there IS going to be a match for the Riot Championship, except you won’t be putting it on the line against Kelsey Spencer. You’re going to be defending the Riot Championship against a hometown hero… a hero who hasn’t been to his motherland in quite some time…
The fans start to jeer, they’re starting to pick up on what Heath’s actually saying, seeing quite clearly through the bush he’s beating around.
Heath Williams:
You see, a few weeks ago, when the announcement of this tour was in it’s finishing stages… I cut a deal. I cut a deal that goes straight over the head of Vincent Moretti, and comes straight from the office of Grace van Beek herself. And in order to cut that deal, I had to rent the arena that I own the deed to at a reasonable price. And that’s why, next week, at THE UNBREAKABLE SANCTUARY IN AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND…
Heath pauses, smirking straight down into the camera as the fans boo even more heavily.
Heath Williams:
Devin Hearst will be defending the Riot Championship… AGAINST HEATH WILLIAMS!
“Start a Revolution” by Devilskin starts to play as Heath grins over at both Spencer AND Hearst, neither star sure what to do with that information, but needless to say, Hearst’s pissed. He clenches his jaw, turns, and struggles to keep a cool, and collected demeanor, cursing his way up the ramp.
Sir Figgles:
Oh my god! That’s awesome! What a main event we have set up for next week!
Amy Maynard:
Seriously, Fig? Come on, that isn’t fair! Heath didn’t EARN his title shot! All he did was play the role of businessman!
Sir Figgles:
And it worked in his favor!
Amy Maynard:
But what about Kelsey Spencer?! She’s been robbed!
Sir Figgles:
Pfft, she’s still getting her title match, Amy! It just… might not be for a while! And it might not even be against Devin Hearst!
Amy Maynard:
Well, I guess there’s no point fighting it. We’ll just have to see what happens next week. Thank you for joining us on this rollercoaster of a Riot, ladies and gentlemen! We’ll be back next week, LIVE from The Unbreakable Sanctuary!
