Press release from Glory Braddock:
DATE: January 26th, 2020
Tonight at SCW Day of Infamy, I went out and did exactly what I said I would do; I defeated Alistaire Allocco. I flew back from Japan to Chicago and beat Allocco just as I said that I would do. Did I "play possum" as some commentators put it? Did I accidentally land a low blow? Was I aggressive and ruthless? Maybe. But whose hands was raised at the end of it?
Mine.
Do you know why I call myself "The Best in the World"? Because it is the truth. It is fact. I win some...most...and sure, I lose some, but that's all part of this great and noble sport, isn't it? I can shout to the heavens above that I have won fourteen world championships and that I am a multi-time hall of famer, that alone is enough of a record to prove my case. But if that's not enough then let me ask you this; what competitor can run her own company and still have time to travel the world and slap sense into her opponents? No one but me. And that competitor is not only traveling the world and beating people up while running her own company but she is also molding the next generation of professional wrestlers. My wrestling school, The Braddock Wrestling School, has already produced multiple world champions...
...Chastity Noel...
...Sophie O'Brian...
...Destiny Skye...
...and of course, me. And that school is still producing and graduating great competitors and athletes. Think of it, an entire generation of professional wrestler with the proper knowledge of this sport works, with the proper attitude towards this sport, an entire generation thinking the right thoughts towards this business. What competitor can mold an entire generation while beating the best wrestlers in the world and running a company?
Just me. Glory Braddock. And that is what it truly means to be the best, because I can have such a huge influence upon this industry on so many levels. I have conquered this industry inside the ring on fourteen separate occasions. I have conquered this industry from a corporate standpoint. And I am still conquering the future of this industry through the next generation that is being produced at my school. Through these experiences inside the ring as a competitor and fighter, as a businesswoman who understands the backstage cutthroat politics of the sport, and as a trainer, I know what is truly best for professional wrestling.
Alistaire Allocco learned a harsh lesson about the cutthroat environment of this industry at SCW Day of Infamy. If everyone were a saint things would be different but alas the vast majority of people are sinners and a true competitor, a true warrior, will be prepared for anything that might happen. Anything at all. Alistaire was not prepared and thus he lost. There is no shame in losing to The Best in the World.
Just as there is no shame in Pierce and Jenni eventually getting what is coming to them. I am the cleancut babyface hero that the world wants, I am the hero that everyone NEEDS, who will do what is necessary for the best of professional wrestling. And as I'm sure both of you have clearly seen by now, I am willing to go to great lengths to make sure that this sport is saved.
And I am its savior, Glory Braddock, The British Bombshell.
