Big In Japan Tour
Millennium LI
Live from Yamada Green Dome in Maebashi
Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020
Here we are, third stop of the green brand tour in Japan, from the Yamada Green Dome in Maebashi. The crows is loud and hot, cheering out loud as "When Legends Rise" by Godsmack blares out of the loudspeakers. The camera quickly pans over them before moving to the entrance stage, just in time to capture the pyrotechnics going off in a beautiful display of colors. Jessi Idol and Peyton Holland at the commentary table greet the fan and offer a quick look on tonight's card. Some interesting matches of course, but according to Peyton, the Tornado Tag Team match between APE and the team of Sophie O'Brian and Bobbi Jackson could be the show stealer. Jessi agrees with her, saying that even the other two tag matches are quite interesting. Nightfall Rising surely drew on them the attention of Fabulous and Jetpack, but now the question is if they will be able to back up their claims. As for the other match, with all the bad blood between Victorian and Gavin, and between Helena and Joey, things can get out of hand real quickly. Peyton mentions the No DQ triple threat match between Garrett, Luna and Miss Malice, another match they should get their eyes on. Kenzie has been on a roll since Red Line, this match is a good test before her one on one contest against Hammerstein at the next PPV. As for the Chicago Way champion himself? Jessi says that despite the questionable people he associates with, he represents one of the biggest threats in MWE today. Melissa Reeves is going to have her hands full in tonight's main event.
Singles Match
Yuki VS Ashley WhitmoreThe opening contest of this night saw Ashley Whitmore taking on Yuki. Coming off a loss in their last match, both women were looking to bounce back with a win out here tonight. Yuki had a quite good showing in the first part, catching Ashley with a rolling elbow on the rebound from the ropes. The stiff shot rocked the blond woman who fell back against the ropes, a reckless running crossbody from Yuki sent both women on the outside after landing hard on the apron. Yuki seemed to have got the worst of it, dazed after the replay shows how the back of her head bounced against the hardest part of the ring. And Whitmore obviously took advantage of this, tossing her against the ring post and hitting her with two hard chops. A third attempt was ducked by the japanese, causing Ash’s hand to collide against the steel post, right before Yuki dropped her on the canvas with a reverse ddt. The former NOW superstar then picked the opponent up and rolled her inside the ring, making the cover after landing on Whitmore’s chest with a slingshot senton. After Ashley kicked out, she tried to regain control, but the right hand she threw ar Yuki hurt her more than it did the opponent, making it easy for the japanese to keep her momentum going, using her agility to pin the canadian to the mat with a sunset flip, once again going no further than a two count. With her hand hurting, Ash had to rely on her kicks instead, and the results were outstanding. First she caught the flying japanese with a superkick as she was trying to connect a diving crossbody. The student of Crystal Hilton insisted with some knees to the chest, leaving Yuki in a bent forward position, holding her ribs. Whitmore then climbed to the top and jumped down with a bulldog, driving her face to the mat. Quickly floating into a cover, Ashley only got a count of two out of it. Wasting no time, she pulled the opponent back to her feet and set her up for her Brain Dead. Yuki fought her off, avoiding the brainbuster ddt and kicking away her previously injured hand, catching Ashley with a bicycle kick that sent the canadian sprawled on the mat, perfect target for a beautiful 450 splash. The cover was deep, both legs hooked but Whitmore still managed to kick out. And soon after, she was back in control, a series of hard kicks to the back after a snap reverse ddt followed by a shining wizard to the back of the head knocked Yuki down. With her eyes scanning from one side to the other of the arena, expecting Nikki to come out and interfere at any time, the Perfect Score locked the young opponent in an elevated boston crab, a knee placed on the back of her head in her own version of the move taught to her by Crystal, called Undergrad. Soon enough, the pain became too much for Yuji to withstand, and she tapped out. WINNER: Ashley Whitmore BY: Submission (Undergrad), 5:58 |
Peyton Holland: "Ashley made a relatively quick job out of her opponents tonight."
Jessi Idol: "I'm more surprised that Nikki didn't decide to stick her nose in her sister's business..."
Peyton Holland: "A truce maybe?"
Jessi Idol: "Unlikely, but we will see."

Things are different. Very different. What makes this so strange and unusual is the fact that we see Summer Collins standing back in what appears to be bowels of the arena. It is dark, dimly lit, but we can barely make out that she is dressed in her wrestling gear. A confident smirk is etched across the wealthy beauty’s face.
Summer Collins:
Myself and my tag team partner and good friend Jessica Lasiewicz, together we are absolutely Fabulous, the most Fabulous tag team on the MWE roster, and last week was supposed to be an opportunity to take another step forward in our young careers here in MWE. We were supposed to take one step closer to an eventual tag title opportunity as we proved, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that everything we have said about ourselves is true; that we are the absolute roughest, toughest, best technical wrestling team in the business today, we can go anywhere and face anyone and beat anyone. And we were putting on a hell of a show last week against Jetpack. The fans loved it, of course, but they were robbed of a good, clean ending. They were robbed of a winner. The fans, Jetpack, and most importantly myself and Jess, were all robbed last week thanks to the actions of a pair of whining children.
Collins balls her fists up and makes crying motions and crying sounds.
Summer Collins:
Boo-hoo! We didn’t get booked and now we’re gonna throw a childish tantrum!
Collins rolls her eyes.
Summer Collins:
You honestly believe that what you did last week was effective? Please. There’s a reason you weren’t booked, BOYS, and it is because YOU are the pathetic, talentless hacks. YOU are the ones who do not sell tickets. No one wants to see you. They want to see real athletes, real competitors, absolutely FABULOUS competitors like myself and Jessica. We put asses in seats and that is why we have been consistently booked since day one of our arrival in MWE. Your tantrum, boys, served no purpose.
She pauses momentarily as she reconsiders her words. Maybe she was wrong? Summer shakes her head.
Summer Collins:
You know what? I am wrong. Your little tantrum did serve a purpose. It pissed off someone you really don’t want to piss off.
With that, Summer Collins steps off screen and almost immediately after she is gone her tag team partner, Jessica Lasiewicz, emerges from stage left. The Archangel is also dressed in her wrestling gear but her hair, which usually is dyed blonde or red whenever she is in a pleasant mood, is left in its natural black color.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
Donovan Keane...Jay Gallagher...you have no idea just what you have stepped into. You have no idea of the hornet’s nest you just stirred up. If you wanted to fight us, all you had to do was ask. Hell, I would wager to say that Jetpack would gladly fight you if you just asked. But instead you chose to stick your noses in our business. You looked to make a name for yourselves at our expense. You may have thought that what you did was smart but in doing so you have awakened a beast.
The Archangel shakes her head.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
This is no shallow threat, Nightfall. This is a very real promise. You should know who I am but maybe you two imbeciles didn’t bother to do your homework before you decided to get involved. Before you come to the ring tonight take a moment to look me up. And no, I do not mean look up my father and his family or my mother and her family…
Rage fills her eyes as she points at herself.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
...LOOK ME UP! I have built a reputation of my own, a reputation that is drenched in the blood of my victims, a reputation that is built upon the broken bones of anyone and everyone who has ever dared to cross me. Tonight you do not get FABULOUS...tonight you get The Archangel and I will slay you. Dobranoc, bitches…
The scene shifts.
Singles Match
Swayze Dial VS E.M.P.At the end of this match, one of these two competitors will erase the zero from their wins column. Swayze appeared to be the most determined of the two and, despite the size disadvantage, he applied a side headlock after kicking Erin in the stomach to wrap his arms around her head. He even flexed trying to apply more pressure, but Paige easily lifted him and dropped him down with a back drop, followed with a quick pinning predicament for the first near fall of the match. The pocket size Georgia born quickly made it back to his feet and challenged Erin to a test of strength. She seems confused, but still accepted the challenge and easily won it, pushing Dial back into the corner. There she went for a back hand chop, dodged by Swayze who rolled under it and sent Erin against the corner with a dropkick to the back. Overestimating his strength, he tried a german suplex, obviously failing and allowing EMP to switch position and connect the same move. She then picked him up and whipped him against the ropes, once again missing the clothesline and eating a springboard back elbow. The momentum of the match kept switching between the two competitors, Swayze getting the upper hand when he was able to use his speed to his advantage, Erin controlling things when she managed to slow down the pace. In this moment, Dial was climbing back on the apron after a Erin threw him out with a back body drop. She grabbed his long hair and dragged him up, looking now to suplex him back into the ring. He fought that off, broke free with some punches to the ribs, leaned in between the ropes and hit her with a shoulder to the stomach, doubling her over. Using the top rope to jump back in the ring, he smashed her face first to the mat with a springboard X-Factor, but Erin kicked out in two. More acrobatic moves followed, Dial showing his high-flying style and proving how effective it was, but it was a step up knee strike that got him the nearest of falls. And it seemed to wake up Erin who stepped up her game and regained control of the match, connecting a couple of suplexes before jumping from the second rope with a leg drop. Only two, but Paige confidence grew a lot after that. She kept fighting more determined than ever, blocking Swayze’s float over ddt and dropping him on his knee with a backbreaker. Just like last week, she climbed to the top rope for her cannonball. Only this time, there was no Nikki nor someone else to take the win away from her. WINNER: E.M,P. BY: Pinfall (Cannonball), 7:03 |
Jessi Idol: "She did it! First win for Erin Paige!"
Peyton Holland: "Proof that hard work eventually pays off."
Jessi Idol: "Oh..."
Peyton Holland: "What's wrong?"
Jessi Idol: "Nothing. I just... Thought she'd be more happy about this.."
The camera cuts to a close up of E.M.P, standing in the middle of the ring with her arm raised in victory. The look on her face though, remains unchanged, the same neutral expression that characterized her matches up to this moment.

Jay Gallagher, one half of Nightfall Rising is pacing back and forth backstage, cursing under his breath as he stares at his phone. He slides his finger on the screen, tapping twice with his index and bringing the phone to his ear.
Jay Gallagher:
Come on…
Seconds pass, but nothing happens. The once hopeful expression on Gallagher’s face slowly fading with every moment that passed without a reply on the other side of the line.
Iggy:
Still nothing?
His boyfriend and Millennium interviewer Iggy comes into scene. But he’s not here to do his job and ask Jay about his upcoming match against Fabulous.
Jay Gallagher:
Nothing. I’m starting to get worried Iggy…
Iggy:
I’m sure he’s fine.
"He" is Iggy’s brother and Jay’s tag partner Donovan Keane who, apparently, has yet to arrive at the Yamada Green Dome.
Jay Gallagher:
He didn’t show up yesterday in Portland, he’s not here tonight, he hasn’t answered his phone since Monday…
Iggy:
That’s because he’s a selfish asshole.
His words, pronounced in such a cold and angry tone, seem to shock Jay. Iggy noticed it and immediately grabs his boyfriend’s hands.
Iggy:
I know my brother, Jay. He’s always been like this, when things get heavy he just runs... And fuck everyone else and their feelings!
There’s definitely more than some unresolved issues between the two brothers, and this seems to bother Gallagher.
Iggy:
Hey, look at me.
He raises Jay’s chin, looking in his eyes.
Iggy:
Remember what I told you yesterday? If he stood you up again, I’d take his place and fight with you.
??:
That won’t be necessary.
The voice interrupting this moment between Jay and Iggy doesn’t belong to Donnie, as they, or at least Jay, was hoping. It’s a feminine voice, the voice of Millennium’s General Manager Chloe Collins.
Chloe Collins:
I understand that mister Keane didn’t join us tonight. How unfortunate.
Jay Gallagher:
Boss lady, let’s not jump to conclusions, there’s still time before the match. Maybe he’s on his way.
Chloe doesn’t seem too convinced and, in all fairness, the same can be said by Jay himself.
Jay Gallagher:
And if he doesn’t make it in time, I can fight those chicks alone…
Iggy:
No way, I’m fighting with you.
Chloe shakes her head.
Chloe Collins:
We hired you as a backstage interviewer, Iggy. Not as a wrestler. As for your match…
A moment of silence follows, building a little bit of tension.
Chloe Collins:
If mister Keane doesn’t come here in time, the match will not take place, and you will lose by forfait.
Jay sighs in relief.
Chloe Collins:
But there will be consequences, I can assure you that. I will confer with miss van Beek, but if I were you, I’d start looking around and see which companies are hiring.
Jay Gallagher:
W-What? We’re the best tag team in this company, you can’t fire us!
Chloe Collins:
Oh, sure I can. And maybe I will. Now you should go get ready, you may or may not have a match tonight.
And with that said, the GM walks away. On the image of Jay picking up his phone and trying once again to get in touch with his partner while Iggy tries to calm him down the camera fades.
Singles Match
Rhett Adelson VS Trey ColeAfter their little spat last week in Nagano during the match where the respective partners were involved, Rhett and Trey had tonight the chance to settle their differences inside the ring. To spice things up, Qiyara and Spectre were out there at ringside, making their presence felt, for now, with words of encouragement and cheers. The bell rang, Adelson and Cole met in the middle of the ring exchanging some words about last wednesday’s events. Things escalated quickly and Trey shoved Rhett back, telling him to shut up and step up. Nothing Adelson wasn’t ready to do, smirking and hitting him with a sudden, swift kick to the left leg, the same one Devin Hearst abused last Saturday, and that was clearly still bothering the Father Of Finesse. Two more kicks to the leg a third one aiming higher, catching the former Tag Team champion on the side of his head. With the opponent down, Rhett went for a running shooting star press, landing on his feet after Cole rolled away. Trey went for a sweep kick, finding Adelson extremely focused and ready to jump avoiding the kick, landing on his feet and going for a dropkick as soon as Trey stood up, catching him right on the face. With another display of athleticism, Rhett went for a springboard moonsault, obtaining a two count. The ref’s attention was clearly divided between the action in the ring and the “suspicious activity” of Spectre outside. Aware of the mistake he made last week, the official always kept an eye on the Die Fly as he paced the ringside area, taunting both Qiyara and Rhett. And doing so, he missed the eye rake that allowed Trey to turn things in his favor, hitting the momentarily blinded opponent with a quick left/right kicking combination followed by a kick to the stomach to double him over. A quick run to the ropes and Trey dropped the opponent down with a running swinging neckbreaker. The quick and innovative style of offense earned him some fans here in Japan tonight, applauding the Sasuke Special he took Rhett out with. Singh immediately went to check on her boyfriend, but Spectre immediately pulled her away, telling the referee he saw her handing something to Rhett. Obviously she didn’t, but the commotion this generated, with Adelson himself pleading his innocence to the referee, played in the HooligunnZ member favor, as he blindsided Rhett with a forearm strike from behind and smacked his face on the apron before rolling him under the bottom rope. Before Cole could get back inside the ring, Spectre walked to him and hugged him, whispering some words of encouragement in his hear. Qiyara tried to get the ref’s attention but an “accidental” slap from Trey shut her up and knocked her down. The referee was checking if she was alright and thus missed Rhett’s gamengiri kick. And just like that it became clear what Qiyara was trying to get the ref’s attention on. Laying next to Trey’s body was one of his golden chains, the same Spectre used to knock out Singh one week ago. The Swoltergeist, must have handed it to him during their brief hug.. Rhett noticed it and, before getting accused of having used it to get the advantage, kicked it out of the ring. Too bad the official turned around in that exact same moment. No matter how true Rhett’s story was, it didn’t convince the referee, who disqualified him. WINNER: Trey Cole BY: DQ, 7:16 |
Jessi Idol: "Seriously ref?"
Peyton Holland: "Ouch, that was a bad call from the official."
Jessi Idol: "Last week he didn't see the loaded punch, tonight he disqualified Rhett for something he didn't do... This is getting ridiculous."
Peyton Holland: "Ouch, that was a bad call from the official."
Jessi Idol: "Last week he didn't see the loaded punch, tonight he disqualified Rhett for something he didn't do... This is getting ridiculous."
As the action cuts backstage we find Neal Durden stretching and setting up his gear for tonight. Last week results weren’t in his favor, but, nevertheless, he seemed to have left an impression. Tonight is a whole new story, yet he seems ready for it. The black and grey hoodie he usually wears for his entrance is well in place and he’s simply giving his wrists tape the final touches. Without turning around to face the camera he begins to speak.
Neal Durden:
So things didn’t go my way last time around. I mean, if they did I would’ve had gold around my waist at this very moment and I don’t. Maybe I wouldn’t fall down from the ladder if things have gone a tiny bit differently… alas, I don’t have a time machine and things are the way they are. Yet, there’s one thing no one can’t deny from last week… I’m not here to play games.
The serious tone in Neal’s voice deviates from his usual demeanor, but seems to be more inline with what has been seen from him recently in the Underground and last week here in Millennium. He keeps on putting on tape on his wrists, without facing the camera, as he continues.
Neal Durden:
I’ve done this for the love of the game for close to four years at this time. Never taking things too seriously; never being the one who drives the narrative. I’ve always been content and happy with what has been given to me. I’ve achieved things and I’ve lost things… but as I said last week, the past is in the past and now… I’m reborn.
As Durden puts the tape over the bench, he tilts his neck to the left, as to crack it a bit. He then puts his right hand over and stretches it a bit. He does this routine a couple of times with both sides of his body, before continuing.
Neal Durden:
One might think my opponent tonight and I are mirror images of each other. You’d be forgiven if you’re one of those who thinks like that… because the parallels are there. We’re both young at twenty one and twenty two years of age respectively; eager to prove ourselves to the world; hungry… but that’s where the parallels end.
Finally Neal turns around as he runs his left hand over his hair and lets out a sigh.
Neal Durden:
I’ve been in YURI’s shoes. For a long time I was just… happy to be there. Happy to serve whichever way I could. I was never looking out for myself… just like she usually doesn’t look out for herself. That selfless nature is something I know very well and that’s one of the many reasons I have an advantage in this match. Sure, YURI and Tiff Rollins are not too dissimilar in their style of wrestling and that proved to be my downfall last week… one cannot stay in the air for long.
A light chuckle escaped Neal as he turns his head to the right side. He then smirks and continues talking.
Neal Durden:
But if one is to succeed… one must adapt and overcome. Let that be your lesson this time YURI. I know you’re a student of the industry, you were born into it, you saw it as a kid… to be here is your life long dream. I’m not gonna step over boundaries to tell you this is going to be a nightmare; because it wont. It will be, however, the toughest challenge you’d have to face up to this point.
Durden’s eyes shine bright under the locker room lights as he stares directly into the camera, as if he’s talking directly to his opponent.
Neal Durden:
Bring your meanest self, bring that side of you that you usually hide from the world… because I know you have it… as did I. I want the you that will take off the head from anyone… I want a real pirate, not a pretend one. Because I’m sure as hell not going to be the bumbly idiot you see on social media… tonight, YURI… let’s make this a Pirate versus Assassin affair.
After ushering those words, Neal put the hoodie over his head and headed out of the locker room.
The shot goes live backstage where we see Christian Michaels fresh off his recent expulsion from Riot in Kyushu. Our hotheaded southern friend currently in the process of busting out a few squats. Michaels is already dressed for competition in his wrestling pants, boots, and a “Big In Japan” tour shirt. Christian’s half of the MWE Tag Team championship is propped up neatly on a nearby anvil case. There’s already a good buzz from the fans at seeing CM here live on Millennium, but the reaction escalates quickly when the camera pans out slightly to reveal Riot’s Kelsey Spencer, CM’s wife, enter the frame behind him. She appears stoic as she stands silently, before politely clearing her throat to get his attention.
Christian Michaels:
Huh...What the…?
Christian says as he is caught totally unaware. He was deep in thought, who knows exactly on what, when Kelsey cleared her throat. He whips around and immediately wears a happy smile.
Christian Michaels:
Kelsey! Hi babe! How ya doin my love? Ya feelin alright? Need something?
Kelsey puts a hand up to halt him. Her expression remains blank as she clears her throat once more, this time to talk.
Kelsey Spencer:
Can we not go into the “babes” and the “loves” tonight? There’s something I really need to talk to you about. Something very important. It involves what happened on Riot this past weekend.
Michaels tilts his head a bit as Kelsey speaks. Never once during their time together had she come off like this. Well there was that one time she was deep undercover and stuff but….ahhh nevermind that stuff. CM is perplexed to say the least. Then as his wife mentions Riot he feels a tinge of guilt over how he acted.
Christian Michaels:
Babe-erm, I mean Kelsey, listen I know I was a lil outta line with how I acted Saturday night….. Vincent was fully in the right for what he did kicking me out and fining me. I ain’t heard from him since, so ya can tell him that we’re still cool.
Kelsey lets out a slight chuckle, if only to relieve the lingering tension in the air.
Kelsey Spencer:
I’m not mad about that. It’s actually part of the reason why I’m here tonight. There’s this War Games Match coming up, as you already know… The idea of being in War Games is scary enough without thinking what’s waiting for me when I get in there. Heath’s already got his team sorted. The Revolution isn’t like any other group I’ve ever gone against. If I’m gonna stand a chance of surviving this match, I need to assemble a team that I can really trust. A team that feels as passionately about stopping The Revolution as I do.
Her eyes linger on the floor for a moment, before she raises them to sharply look at Michaels. The deathly serious nature of the situation is an easy read for Christian. He knows that Kelsey means all kind of business and holds her gaze as she continues
Kelsey Spencer:
After watching what you did, or what you were willing to do to get to them… It just reinforced what I already knew. I could’ve easily done this in private, while we were away from any show or arena, but I wanted to pay a visit to Millennium just this once to ask you something. I need you to understand that I’m not asking you this as your wife or as a loved one, but as a competitor. As someone who has a great deal of respect for you and everything you stand for in that ring.
She pauses and takes a deep breath.
Kelsey Spencer:
Will you be on my team for the War Games Match against The Revolution?
It’s kind of hard to listen to some of the words Kelsey was saying. For the past few years everything they’d done together was based on their love, on their relationship and eventual marriage. But here tonight it wasn’t her husband she was making a request of.
Christian Michaels:
Yes.
He says in a tone that contains not a single trace of the usual playfulness that is there when Millennium fans have seen this duo on their screens together. The ghost of a smirk appears on Spencer’s face as she nods slightly.
Christian Michaels:
I will gladly be on your team Kelsey. I will stand by your side and rage against the darkness that Heath Williams and his bunch of jackasses have spread across this company! A company that we’ve fought so hard to elevate and turn into a safe-haven for those competitors who just wanna be the best wrestlers they can. I will join you a million times more if it’s necessary to beat them back into their slimy crevices they’ve crawled out from. Always! Always will I stand with you.
And then to seal the deal, like a couple of ultra(maybe even mega?) powers coming together…..Christian extends his right hand towards Kelsey. With a grin, she eagerly accepts the gesture and firmly shakes his hand. The fans watching the live feed let out a cheer.
Kelsey Spencer:
I knew I could count on you. Thank you.
CM nods proudly.
Christian Michaels:
You’re welcome, Kelsey. I promise I won’t let ya down.
Christian Michaels:

Singles Match
Yuri VS Neal DurdenAfter his unsuccessful yet impressive debut one week ago, the Anarchist had a second chance to get his first success in MWE. His opponent? A young and talented wrestler who’s no stranger to the Japanese fans, being a full time member of the JROK roster and tag partner of Riot’s own Kelsey Spencer, Yuri Mochizuki. The match started with Neal trying to impose a quick pace from the get going, using quick attacks and a ridiculous amount of springboard moves to try catch the japanese off guard. It worked quite well for him, obtaining two consecutive near falls with a springboard roundhouse kick and a crucifix pin as soon as Yuri kicked out and pulled herself back to her feet. One high risk move too many and the course of the match drastically changed. Yuri had reversed the irish whip attempt and sent Durden against the ropes. Instead of rebounding back from them like everyone else would have done in that situation, he jumped on the middle rope to take down the opponent with a moonsault, getting caught in mid-air with a pinpoint dropkick. And then he had a taste of the Pirate’s lethal kicks. Left or right didn’t matter, they were equally deadly, delivered with extreme precision and velocity. Soon, Durden’s chest was carrying the red marks of the absolute beatdown he was taking, so intense that the finale roundhouse kick must have looked like a lucky break to him. From the top rope, Yuri dropped both her knees to his chest, finally making the cover only to see all her effort being frustrated by the Anarchist raising his shoulder in two. Even though the spinning heel kick only gave her another near fall, Yuri didn’t waste a second to pick Neal up and fire him in the corner with all her strength. The impact was so hard that Durden bounced a couple of steps toward the middle of the ring, arching his back in pain. Yuri charged at him with a spear but a leapfrog from the Welsh born caused her to crash hard in the corner. The referee immediately dropped in position to count as he rolled her up with a schoolboy pin, interrupting the count when Neal lifted her and powerbombed her to the canvas. Durden was ready to close the deal with his Starlight, but Yuri moved out of the way. Luckily for him, Neal managed to change the trajectory in mid air, landing on his feet. He couldn’t avoid Yuri’s running knee strike that caught him right on the face and sent him laying flat on his back, but he still kicked out in two. A few more kicks sent Neal back in the corner where Yuri reached him with her Overhaul. Once again the Anarchist landed on his feet from the monkey flip, kicking Yuri in the mid section and planting her with his vertebreaker called Strike Back, obtaining his first win in the company. WINNER: Neal Durden BY: Pinfall (Strike Back), 9:52 |
Peyton Holland: "A valiant effort from the young pirate, but in the end it's the Anarchist coming out victorious."
Jessi Idol: "Neal Durden confirmed, not that he needed to considering his resume, the good things he showed last week in that title match."

The japanese fans are still buzzing. Whether it's them commenting on the match they just witnessed, or buzzing in anticipation of the next contest they're about to witness, it doesn't really matter. Their mumbling and chatting is destined to come to an end as soon as Nirvana's "Very Ape" blares out of the loudspeakers. Nobody was expecting to see Tiff Rollins here tonight, the Cloud Gate Champion isn't scheduled to compete... And yet here she is, dressed in blue jeans and a leather jacket over a "Five Foot Death Kick" shirt, the title she has been holding for a year wrapped around her waist. The warm reception draws a smile on her face, a smile that quickly fades when she finally slides inside the ring, a microphone in her right hand. She waits until the cheers die down, before addressing the fans with what is clearly a pressing matter for her.
Tiff Rollins:
All I ever wanted...was to fight.
Even though the fans are chanting her name, further proof that she's the most loved star in the company, Tiff can't help but let out a sigh.
Tiff Rollins:
You see this?
She unwraps the Cloud Gate Championship from her wasit and raises it in the air, drawing another round of applause from the sold out crowd.
Tiff Rollins:
This is what I fought for. I fought to prove that I belong in this sport, and this right here, this is my proof. I’ve held this title for over a year now. A whole year. Most hope to have a career this long, let alone a title reign of this caliber. And yet…
Lowering her arm, she rests the title on her shoulder.
Tiff Rollins:
...and yet somehow, for as long as I’ve held this title...it’s never been about it. This doesn’t feel like a title anymore. It feels like a target. Everyone sees a little girl holding onto a championship and living her childhood dream to the fullest, and that just tears them apart. So what do they do? They try to tear me apart. They don’t want to fight. They know what I can do in that ring. No, they just wanna ruin everything else in my life. And guess what? They all succeeded.
A small pause, all the events that happened to her in this past year seem to be starting to take their toll on the nineteen years old.
Tiff Rollins:
I’ve lost all of my privacy. You all know me more than I know myself at this point. You know who my parents are...whose blood runs through my veins…...you know where I live and who I live with…...I...I lost my boyfriend…...I’ve lost the respect from almost everyone in my life at this point...but despite all that...I still hold this title. I still fight for this title. All I ever wanted was to fight, but everyone wants to take that away from me, even if it means taking everything else away from me.
Never one to show her emotions, Rollins seem unable to hide them anymore.
Tiff Rollins:
I just wanna fight…
She repeats in a whisper.
Tiff Rollins:
I just wanna fight, defend this title and keep my mouth shut. But can I do that? No. Everyone wants to make things personal. They have to expose me. They have to prove how much of a liar I am, or a fraud, or anything else that everyone called me before they ended up as smears beneath my boot! This title proves how much of a fighter I am, but it’s never been about that. Especially with you...Ana.
She takes a moment to readjust the title that was slipping down from her shoulder.
Tiff Rollins:
Back in Shanghai, you finally answered me. You told me everything. And so what did I do? I did what I do best. I kept my mouth shut and I kept fighting. Fighting and winning. But of course that wasn’t good enough. No one wants me to fight anymore. They want me to respond. They don’t want me to kick your head off this time. They just want me to shoot with you. Well...I guess I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore.
Her left fists clenches in a fist.
Tiff Rollins:
So yeah. I get it. Hudson, Tompkins, Rollins. I’ve had a few surnames. It never gets old whenever people use that against me. But one thing that does get old are these claims that I abandon every family I’ve ever been a part of. As if one surname automatically erases another. What’s my response to these claims? No. Straight up. No. But coincidentally, you seem to be the only one who thinks this way. Well guess what? Believe it or not, I still keep in touch with Hunter to this day, and believe it or not, I’m as close to Heather and Andreas as ever. I just don’t have to publicize it on social media like everyone else. They still support me, even after everything that’s happened, even after how badly I handled learning my connection to them, and even after being adopted into the Rollins family; a decision that I would not have made without their approval. Just because I don’t tweet about it, or post pictures of birds, doesn’t mean I don’t love them as much as everyone else who I’ve been fortunate enough to call family. I don’t abandon anyone. I just have an even greater family than ever.
Weeks of silence, and now she's letting everything out.
Tiff Rollins:
I doesn’t matter what name you give me, because quite frankly, I am every single one. I am a Rollins. I am a Tompkins. I am a Halliwell. Hell, I am a Lasiewicz. Just like you, I didn’t know where I belonged. All I had was the name Hudson. I didn’t have a family, and at one point, I thought I never would. And now here I am, with a bigger family than I could possibly imagine. I’ll admit it, I was an idiot to try and keep the truth about my mother secret. I was a selfish brat who wanted a namesake all to herself, and if I could go back in time, I would change that. I would go up to my former self and tell her not to hide it, but to wear it proud, because family is more important than any name. And you know what? I understand the history. I know how far back the Rollins and the Lasiewicz go, and I know tensions are still clearly there. But if there’s one thing that’s mutual between them, it’s me. Despite the histories on both sides, they are my family, and whether they think of each other as family, they’re still family to me. And that just eats you up inside, doesn’t it?
Tiff takes a deep breath, trying to regain control of her emotions.
Tiff Rollins:
It just eats you up inside knowing that you can’t be what I am. I’ve done for Lasiewicz and Rollins, what you could never do for Lasiewicz and Bongartz. I got more of a family than I could ever have imagined, and you? Well, let’s just say while I build bridges, you just burn them down. It’s absolutely crazy how you, out of everyone else, could think of lecturing me about what family means. You, who has gone out of her way to abandon everyone in your own family, hell, your whole entire life, for some face-painted freak. You have no right to talk to me about family.
She shakes her head.
Tiff Rollins:
I am what you could have been...
A quick glance at the title on her shoulder before she resumes her speech.
Tiff Rollins:
I’ve lost so much over the past year, but let me make this perfectly clear. When you’re ready, you can come face me again. When you think you’re ready, you can challenge me for this title, because next time, it’ll be just you and me. No one else.
Loud cheers rise from the fans. The idea of a rematch between Tiffany Rollins and Anastasia Starling for the Cloud Gate Championship is something every MWE fans had been hoping for since their first meeting in the triple threat at Way Of The Dragon.
Tiff Rollins:
The Cloud Gate championship. This isn’t just some target. This is more than just a title. This title represents everything that I’ve built since I won it over a year ago. In the time I’ve held this title, the world found out who I truly am, and despite all that, despite all the losses, and despite all the exposed secrets, I’m still standing, and I’m still fighting. But now, I fight for a new reason. This title represents all the good and the bad in my life. This title IS my life. I don’t fight to prove how much of a good fighter I am anymore. I fight for true honor. Honor for the title, honor for Millennium, honor for my family, my entire family, something that you will never understand.
Once again she raises the title, this time holding it high with pride.
Tiff Rollins:
I fight for this title as if it was my family, so when you say how I treat it like nothing, you might as well be telling me how I think nothing of family, because as I’ve already said, you couldn’t be further from the truth. I treat this title with the highest of regard, unlike almost everyone who has ever challenged me for it, including you. So if you want to challenge me again, I beg you to realize how much his title means to me, because if you do, you’ll stand a better chance than anyone else who has ever faced me.
The cheers are too loud for her to continue. She waits for them to fade, adding one last sentence.
Tiff Rollins:
Right. That’s it. I’m done talking now. Whenever you’re ready...cousin...I’ll be waiting.
Dropping the microphone, the young champion rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp on the notes of her theme song, stopping on the ramp to thank the fans for their support and raising one last time the coveted Cloud Gate Championship over her head.
Tag Team Match
Nightfall Rising VS Fabulous
Jessica and Summer were in the ring, waiting for their opponents. As heard on their promo earlier in the night, they didn't take lightly Jay and Donnie's interference last week, and they would love to let them know personally. "Rise" by Skillet blared out of the loudspeakers, a few moments passed before Jay Gallagher appeared on the stage. Alone. He made his way to the ring, trying to get the match started even if his tag partner wasn't there... But the referee refused, calling the match and declaring Fabulous winners via forfeit. A decision that left everyone unhappy, but the General Manager made it pretty clear. And her decision was final. WINNER: Fabulous BY: Forfeit, 0:00 |
The camera rolls into Joey Leclair's locker room where he is taping up his wrist getting ready for his tag match later on tonight.
Joey Leclair:
Move the fuck on huh? It's funny how Helena mocks my speech, and critiques me for spewing the same old bullshit under a new shade of color? Well Helena no matter how you view it I would rather be the asshole that I am than be a hypocrite like you, because you gave a glorious speech about how people change, and that you will never bring out that darker side ever again!
Joey shakes his head in disbelief.
Joey Leclair:
Luckily I saw through your bullshit, because all it took was one unexpected chair shot to flip the switch in you, and yea you may have attempted to end my career last week, but the real story is the fact that not even on the same night, but in a matter of under an hour you managed to ruin your reputation, but bringing out the dark side that you said will never be seen again.
Joey finishes taping his wrist, and adjusts his posture so that he is facing the camera directly.
Joey Leclair :
So move the fuck on huh? Move on from what exactly? Five years ago I returned to wrestling after thinking I was ready to retire, and why did I return? Because your friend Prayme Rosario called me on the phone, and said hey I am apart of a group called The Revenants, and there are two people you should check out named Henri Black, and Helena Noir, and I think you will be especially interested in Helena Noir, and so I came out of retirement, and decided to get a look at these so called interesting people, and well I became fascinated with you at this point Helena.. Hell I even idolized you, got a few tattoos because I wanted to be like you, but you never acknowleged me back then, and it was probably a good thing, because at this moment I wasn't ready to face someone on your level, because all I had learned was how to cheat, and lie my way to the top under the mentorship of Prayme Rosario.
Joey takes a deep sigh, and shakes his head before getting a smirk on his face.
Joey Leclair:
The fact that you ignored me back then is going to be your undoing Helena, because since I have returned five years ago? I have gotten a new mentor who you happen to know very well, because its non other than Henri fucking Black, and the reason I am so dangerous in the ring today is because I literally spent five fucking years stuck in a never ending fued with Henri, and because of that I have learned how to destroy an opponent in ever way possible inside the squared circle, and so when you, and I meet one on one, and I leave you broken in the middle of the ring? You have non other than your bestie Henri to thank for that.
Joey starts to turn away, but then turns back, and leans forward toward the camera.
Joey Leclair:
Oh yea! It just hit me that you keep telling me to move on... yet When I arrived here in Millennium? I was minding my own business, and then you came out acting like we used to be friends, and that you care about me begging me to spare my opponent like Oh Joey please dont hurt her! You have done too much already! Please bitch who do you think you are? You ignored me, and never acknowledged me five years ago, and suddenly I show up at the same place five years later, and your interested? How petty! To be honest? I think it is you that hasn't moved on, and that you realize your career is going down hill so at the site of something from your past you reach out to cling onto it, but don't worry Helena, because sometimes you have to confront your past to move on, and I see that your career has reached a low, and that is why I decided to save you by reviving the true Helena.. the darkness within, the Queen of Pain!
Joey gets a sinister look on his face.
Joey Leclair:
Believe me Helena when I say that you have not even begun to see the darkness I have built up in me, and when we face off one on one? I will be the one to sing your final song when I leave you laying in the middle of the ring in a heap of blood sending you to an early retirement on my terms, but as for tonight? the only thing that is saving you is Victoria Salinas, and my shitty tag team partner Gavin Grimes, but our time is coming Helena, and believe me you will not survive!.
Joey shoves the camera to the ground ending the scene.
Sophie O’Brian is pacing around the ready area. She is wearing her ring gear and looks intense, focused, and ready for the task at hand.
Sophie O’Brian:
Friedrich Nietzsche says, “I assess the power of a will by how much resistance, pain, torture it endures and knows how to turn to its advantage.”
The Irish beauty stops and turns to face the camera. A stoic gaze remains upon her face. It is damn near impossible for the viewer to tell just what...if anything...Sophie is feeling right now.
Sophie O’Brian:
American Pain Experience? What a bloody joke. You blokes think you know pain but all you know is cowardice and hypocrisy. Try fighting for the last scrap of meat on the streets just so you can live another day and then come and talk about pain. Try living paycheck to paycheck, barely making ends meet and just barely surviving, then come and talk about pain. Try watching people you loved reveal themselves to be monsters. Try watching one of the individuals trusted to take care of you and love you, try watching that individual drink themselves into oblivion, try watching that individual in a drunken rage beat you over and over again until he passes out. Then your world comes crashing down around you because it is then that you realize that you can trust no one, your loved ones are just as evil as the villainous tyrants history taught to hate. Your world crashes down around you because you realize that God is dead. American Pain Experience…
For the first time, an emotion is shown as Sophie chuckles quietly. She shakes her head.
Sophie O’Brian:
...you are all nothing but a joke. Go to third world countries where having a slice of bread as your entire meal for a day is considered wealth and ask them about PAIN. Go to a Middle East that is embroiled in war and turmoil and ask them about PAIN. Go and ask cultures and ethnic groups that have been persecuted all throughout history and ask them about PAIN. Until you evolutionary failures do all of that, then you truly have absolutely nothing to say about PAIN.
She points to herself.
Sophie O’Brian:
Tonight, myself and Bobbi Jackson will provide you with just a small sampling of what true pain is all about. If you want the experience of pain then we will gladly pr ovide you with the wisdom of pain but just a fair warning, little boys, because WISDOM WILL BE THE DEATH OF YOU!
The scene shifts.
Triple Threat Match
No Disqualification
Kenzie Garrett VS Miss Malice VS Luna SmithNo Disqualification
Luna didn’t look too thrilled to be in this match, probably concerned by her opponents familiarity with weapons and violence. And rightfully so, since things escalated pretty damn quick. Luna and Kenzie had just locked up when Malice left the ring and retrieved a steel chair, slamming it across Kenzie’s back. With the Soulknife down, she turned her attention on Luna, threateningly approaching her. The former Lockdown Champion found herself back in the corner with Malice closing hin, the chair raised over her head. And soon she lowered, slamming it against her own face after it rebounded on the top turnbuckle. Luna was standing now on the apron after leaving through the ropes with a quick movement. From there, she jumped back inside the ring with a springboard meteora, targeting Garrett who just got back to her feet. Miss Malice was right there, the chair dropped on the canvas. Luna knew exactly what to do, spinning her around and kicking her in the stomach, dropping Miss Malice on her head and onto a chair with a snap ddt. She quickly hooked the leg, but the count was interrupted at two by Kenzie. The winner of Red Line and number one contender for the Chicago Way Championship was definitely in her element tonight, and she proved it taking full control of the match and showing her well known creativity with weapons. She use a moment when both her opponents were knocked down to set up her playground, bridging a ladder between the apron and the commentator’s desk, sliding a few chairs and a table under the rop and lean the latter against one of the corners. Four chairs were unfolded and positioned one against the other, ready to be used. A fifth one smacked across Luna’s back. Miss Malice, with a springboard dropkick to the back, knocked Garrett down, causing her to lose grip on the chair that fell out of the ring. The Lipstick Timebomb took on the Star Of The Night, whipping her against the ropes and leapfrogging over her as she rebounded back. Luna’s run stopped before she could hit the ropes, sent flying over them and outside the ring by a perfectly placed Kenzie. The former Lockdown champion landed on the ladder, and it wasn’t a nice landing at all. Malice and Garrett were trading hands in the centre of the ring, an exchange that saw Kenzie coming out on top, flooring the opponent with a roaring elbow. She climbed to the top rope, turning toward Luna and diving with a swanton bomb. The Star Of The Night rolled out of the dangerous spot she was, leaving Kenzie nothing but the unforgiving steel ladder that broke in half under the Soulknife body weight. With Kenzie still recovering on the outside, Luna and Malice were left battling inside the ring. This couple of minutes was the longest this match had went without any weapon being used, possibly because the Star Of The Night had kept control for most of this time with her Krav Maga knee strikes and earned a near fall with the Starstorm (Discus Spinning Roundhouse). Kenzie finally made it back inside the ring, just in time to dive in to prevent Miss Malice from walking out of the win after she turned off the lights for Luna with a chair shot to the head. The back was obviously bothering Garrett, making it easier for Malice to drop her on her head with a spike ddt. The Lipstick Timebomb climbed to the top, ready to make the upset of the night with her Explosion. She counted out Luna too soon, not expecting the Star Of The Night to reach her on top to connect an insane Night Skyfall on the four chairs previously set up by Kenzie. All three were down now, Luna being the first who started to stir, crawling to Malice to make the cover. Raymond Reznik had other plans for her, grabbing her by the ankle and dragging her outside, where he started literally manhandling the blonde woman, tossing her against the barricades over and over. Kenzie and Malice were now alone, both pretty banged up. Kenzie was the first back to her feet, setting up the table near the corner and, after a couple of headbutts, resting Miss Malice on top of it and finishing her with the Pinball Wizard. WINNER: Kenzie Garrett BY: Pinfall (Pinball Wizard), 12:20 |
Peyton Holland: "Another win for... HEY!"
The commentator is interrupted by Raymond Reznik who cleans their table before putting an already battered Luna through it with a chokeslam. With his thirst for revenge finally satisfied, the Ohio born turns his attention to Kenzie, standing victorious in the middle of the ring. Garrett notices staring at the man she beat in the final moments of Red Line to claim the victory and the granted title shot. Something Reznik didn't forget, as that ominous "See you soon" testified.

Millennium returns from a commercial break as we see Bobbi Jackson walking down the hallway sipping a Latte as she looks at the nameplates on the locker room doors searching for someone's name.
She eventually finds the locker room of the MWE Champion Melissa Reeves as she knocks on the door.
Bobbi Jackson:
Hey Mel, it's me...are you in there?
There’s a brief delay, but the champ eventually opens her door. She’s already dressed for action, though she is wearing a shirt with a picture of an ape crossed out on it over her attire.
Melissa Reeves:
Bobbi? What’s up?
Bobbi Jackson:
Hey, I just wanted to apologize to you about not being here last week, I had no idea those idiots were gonna add a third man to their group. I honestly didn’t think anyone would be dumb enough to join them…
Bobbi kinda chuckles a bit.
Bobbi Jackson:
You mind if I come in…?
Reeves steps aside, allowing Bobbi to walk in.
Melissa Reeves:
Thing is, we should never be surprised that anyone on this roster will be dumb enough to do something. Have you seen the majority of them?
She grimaces a little.
Melissa Reeves:
But don’t worry about it. The beating was irritating, yes, but not particularly definitive. What guys like that never understand is that everything thrown at me will be returned, with interest, and I will never stop until they’ve learned their lesson.
Mel sits.
Melissa Reeves:
It’s like teaching a dog to sit, though. It’ll take time, it’ll take patience and sometimes...just sometimes they might piss all over the floor, because they don’t know any better.
Bobbi laughs at the way Melissa puts that as she places a hand against the wall and leans on it as she takes another sip of her Latte.
Bobbi Jackson:
Well tonight, I’m pretty low on patience. I’m teaming up with Sophie for the first time ever against these asshats. There is NOTHING I want more than to defeat Duke’s dumbass in the center of the ring tonight and then maybe it will finally dawn on him that his days as the Lockdown Champion are numbered.
Reeves scoffs.
Melissa Reeves:
Let’s not overestimate him, it’s amazing he can lace a pair of boots up, let alone anything requiring thought. I mean sure, the can guy scrap, but I’ve owned pets with a higher IQ. And these guys are all chicken shits. They can take on half the roster for all I care, I’m champion precisely because I’m better than them. You’ll be Lockdown Champion because you’re better than him. Sophie will...well, never sure what she’ll do, but I’m certain they won’t like it.
Bobbi can’t help but smirk.
Bobbi Jackson:
He really is as dumb as a box of rocks. I’ve been calling him out on the stupid shit he’s been saying for months and he has no good response for any of it. He knows he can’t tap me out, so he goes and gets himself counted out, then he has a friend cause a disqualification to, he’s a little weasel willing to do anything and everything to keep that championship around his waist. But I’m tired of playing nice with people like him, people like A.P.E.! They want to keep poking the Phoenix, they’re gonna get burned!
Reeves giggles a tad.
Melissa Reeves:
A.P.E. are shit. Even their name is bad. I say let them burn, let them crash land back to earth and realize that their tactics aren’t good enough. Cowards never prosper, and rightly so. They don’t deserve to represent this company and it’s up to us to ensure they don’t.
Bobbi nods as she finishes her Latte before tossing the cup in the nearby trashcan.
Bobbi Jackson:
I couldn’t agree more, Speaking of ensuring that...I should probably try and find Sophie and come up with some kind of strategy for our tag match, do you know where her locker room is?
Melissa shakes her head.
Melissa Reeves:
Na, but...this place ain’t that big. Won’t be so hard to find her, I don’t think. What do you think of her?
Bobbi kinda shrugs.
Bobbi Jackson:
I don’t know her very well to be honest. But she’s on our side and she’s against A.P.E. and that’s good enough for me. I’m gonna go find her and talk about our match. Make sure we’re ready to go and on the same page. Good luck in the main event tonight, you know Sophie and I will be watching. If any bullshit goes down we’ll be right there!
Melissa stands now.
Melissa Reeves:
Yeah...same if anything happens in your match. Good luck.
Bobbi Jackson:
Appreciate you, hun, see you soon!
Bobbi gives Melissa a hug before departing the locker room and is off to find Sophie as Millennium heads back to ringside for the next match.
Millennium fades backstage where Victoria Salinas is looking at a monitor that is replaying the events from last week. She sees herself in the ring waiting for Helena Noir to arrive which ultimately never happens with Joey Leclair having something to say about that matter. Watching this experience serves to do little more than to anger Victoria as she remembers this and going into the tag team match that she has on this night, she’s already showing that she’s got very little tolerance for nonsense as she begins to speak her mind.
Victoria Salinas:
Someone “wise”... and I use this term sarcastically… once told me to just let stuff like that roll off my back and to not even think about it… to just move on like it never happened… that it didn’t really mean anything. Unfortunately, with the declining backbone that I had at the time I went with it and I took that advice to heart. But, years later? I realize how horrible that advice was. That sort of mantra and that kind of psyche may work for some people, but it didn’t and doesn’t work for me. Why should I look at this and just laugh it off and move on like it never happened? I do that… then I just leave the door open for ANYONE like Joey Leclair or Grimes to walk all over me and as I’ve said before, as far as this company is concerned, I am BEYOND DONE with that. I made a mistake, a career altering… for the WORSE… mistake in ever listening to that horrible advice. Before I ever met that “wise person”... I had one of the strongest backbones in the business.
I didn’t take anybody’s shit. I didn’t give a damn who they were. I had very little patience and tolerance for bullshit. I had very little time to deal with the mind games and the cowardice of others. I had ZERO time for people that attempted to do everything that they can to make me look stupid. You know how I would respond to people like that? Well… for starters… there was one time where I was feuding with someone over a world championship and after I took the title from him, he went on arguably the WORST smear slash political campaign in professional wrestling history and I had no problem responding to that by putting him on the shelf for a very long time.
There was this one woman that I JUST cut ties with… years ago… she tried playing this game with me by trying to take out every single person that cared about me even going as far as assaulting my own mother… nothing but mind games, nothing but bullshit… and all she ever did for YEARS, even AFTER I made her tap out at the end of her sick, twisted game… was drag me down. Well, on New Year’s Eve I took care of that problem by sending her into retirement as one of the biggest disgraces that professional wrestling has ever known.
And even farther back? There was this one Texas sized jackass who tried EVERYTHING that he could to be better than me to the point of obsession, slandering me at every turn, taking cheap shots at me at every opportunity, hating me because I became a world champion that he was never good enough to be and when he tried to cash in a title shot contract on me by surprise, I snapped his arm in half and he never got close to me again.
Victoria pauses as she lets out another angry sigh.
Victoria Salinas:
For a while now… I lacked the confidence to be at my full potential. And while that confidence has returned, I’ve come to realize that the backbone hadn’t done just that yet. Unfortunately for Grimes… that’s about to change because as far as I’m concerned… as far as me being the constant “victim of circumstance” in this company from Charlie Webster stealing my four way win and Duke Andrews cheating me out of a match, to Bethany Driver beating me because of a possible referee error and then fucking off out of this company a short time later and last week’s bullshit… those days are OVER! I’m NOT going to sit back and go “well, everything’s going to get better” and then just expect things to… no… I’m NOT following that HORRIBLE advice that “wise person” gave me anymore because all that did was anchor the fuck out of my career!
I’ll own up and take the blame for ever following that stupid advice… but I’m not going to sit back and be laissez-faire over this anymore!
From now on, I’m going to take matters into my own hands. If this company won’t do anything about what’s happened to me lately, then I will and it starts with tonight’s match. I didn’t hate Joey Leclair at all… then he pulled the shit that he did last week. All I even WANTED was to compete in that match and at least make up SOME ground for what happened to me the week before… but NOOOOO… that piece of trash had to fuck it up for me.
“Don’t take it personal, Vicky it had nothing to do with you” the stupid “wise person” would say to me.
I admit that it had nothing to do with me… but with all the crap that’s happened to me since I’ve been here? Yeah, I’m taking it fucking personal because I’m DONE being the mat that all the big names of this place LOVE to walk all over! As far as I’m concerned, Leclair is little better than Grimes.
And speaking of the prodding son of a bitch…
Mind coming at me from somewhere besides in front of your keyboard?
Mind meeting me at the Tokyo Dome in a couple of weeks?
Or are you that much of a pussy that you’re going to keep hiding behind your reputation? Keep up these fucking games Grimes… see where that gets you. I promise you that the only place it’ll get you is the hell you deserve to burn in!
Now as far as you’re concerned, Helena… all I ask of you?
Don’t drag me down.
I’ve dealt with enough people doing that and I have no tolerance for that sort of crap anymore…
Victoria turns and leaves the scene drawing a huge ovation from the crowd as the scene cuts out.

A lot of bad blood and unsolved business between these two teams. Bobbi Jackson still has her eyes set on the Lockdown Championship held by Duke Andrews who’s looking for revenge on Sophie O’Brian after the Scorched Earth Policy she hit him with last wednesday. As for Chris Constantine Junior and the pupil of Glenn Braddock, it’s no secret that they both are aiming at Melissa Reeves’ MWE Championship. All the ingredients for this to be an intense match were there, add some tornado rules in the mix and here you have something the fans will hardly forget. Sophie and Chris, Duke and Bobbi those were the obvious pairings at the beginning of this match. The equilibrium was immediately broken when Duke dropped Jackson on the outside with a clothesline close to the ropes and helped Constantine dealing with Sophie. She fought hard, even in a two on one situation, but eventually the APE put the numbers game to good use dropping her with a suplex. Constantine picked her up and blocked her arms behind her back, holding her still for Duke’s chops. A forearm strike to the back of CCJ’s head from the returning Jackson set her free, allowing her to focus on Duke alone. Bobbi unleashed a flurry of kicks and punches to CCJ, dropping him on his face with an unprettier. The pinning predicament was broken up by Andrews who got rid of Sophie with a nasty headbutt. The chaotic and frantic pace characterizing the first part of the match had now slowed, mostly because Sophie and Duke were laying on the outside after O’Brian took him out with a suicide dive, not without consequences for her. Apparently, she injured her shoulder with a bad landing. Inside the ring, CCJ was now controlling the match, forcing Bobbi in the corner and delivering some stiff knife edge chops. He then fired her to the opposite side and charged at her with a splash. As he turned around, he found Sophie waiting for him, her left arm pretty much limp against her body. She could still use her legs tho, and quite well I must say. A kick to the side was followed by one to the midsection and an enziguri to knock down the former marine. Bobbi finally pulled herself up, still taking a moment to breath in the corner. Constantine was back on his feet as well, kicking Sophie’s injured arm and grabbing it to whip her against her partner. O’Brian, despite the obvious pain, reversed the move and Constantine ran right into a spear from Bobbi who then made the cover. Andrews grabbed her by the foot and pulled her out of the ring. Inside the ring, Duke just knocked Bobbi down with his Red White And Blue Combo, a series of quick lefts and rights followed by a kick to the leg, a spinning backfist and a lariat. The Red Wing Stomp was next, all this while Sophie and CCJ were battling on the outside, with the Belfast born catching the member of APE with her Death Of Wisdom. Sliding back to the ring, she went to help her partner, attacking Duke with some stiff forearm strikes. The Rising Phoenix recovered quickly and joined her, Andrews was now caught between two fires being bounced between the two women who were taking turns punching his face. All of a sudden Sophie kicked him in the stomach and connects the Ode To Braddock but, instead of making the cover, she let Bobbi get the last word on him with the Trials By Fire. Is Duke going to tap out? Could this be a prelude to what we will see at the pay-per-view? Olivia climbs to the apron, trying to get the ref’s attention. Chris Constantine was back into the ring, sliding behind Sophie’s back. She noticed it and turned around into a punch right to the head. Not a regular punch though, but one brought with the brass knuckles. The referee didn’t notice it, too focused on Duke who seemed on the verge of tapping out. Olivia was yelling at him to turn around as Chris had the stunned O’Brian up for his American Strong Piledriver, dropping her on her head. The official began the count, while Duke was struggling to resist, his hand lifted and ready to tap. And he did, tapping his hand on the mat exactly at the same moment the official counted the three. Bobbi raised her hands, sure that she had lead her team to victory, but the win was assigned to APE. She plead her case to the referee, even telling him to watch the replay on the tron. In all fairness, not even the replay could shed some light on the situation, the tap out and the three apparently happening simultaneously. Nevertheless, the referee stood his decision. WINNER: APE BY: Pinfall (American Strong Piledriver), 15:23 |
Jessi Idol: "What? He tapped out, everybody saw it!"
Peyton Holland: "I'm sure the referee saw it too.. But according to him, it happened after the three count."
Jessi Idol: "And are we just going to ignore that CCJ used a brass knuckles?"

We are in the so called Gorilla position, moments before the tag match between the team of Helena Noir and Victoria Salinas and the duo Gavin Grimes/Joey Leclair. That's where we find the last Liberty Champion, her head lowered, the hood covering her face. Focused, determined and icy cold her tone as she speaks.
Helena Noir:
You must really love the sound of your voice, Joey. Keep singing your tune, keep repeating those things to yourself and maybe, maybe... You'll convince at least yourself. Because I can assure you, nobody else is buying the bullshit you keep spewing.
There's no emotion in her tone, making her words sound even more dark and threatening.
Helena Noir:
I've been called many things in my life, but never an hypocrite. And there's a reason for that, you know what that is?
Finally raising her head, she drops the hood, revealing her face.
Helena Noir:
Because I'm not one. But since you don't understand, let me make it clear. You think that attacking you makes me a hypocrite because I swore that the Queen Of Pain would have never come back?
The chuckle she lets out after those words sounds somewhat sinister.
Helena Noir:
Think, Joey. Think about that woman you saw five years ago, the one you said you admired. The ruthless, violent bitch that would stop at nothing, the one ready to go to war against the world, and fuck the consequences.
Do you think that that woman would have let you walk out on your own legs, last week?
Do you think she would have settled with putting you through a table?
She shakes her head.
Helena Noir:
No.
She would have made sure you'd be on a liquid diet for the next two weeks, she would have made sure that Joey Leclair wouldn't have been cleared to compete tonight.
So, thank me, Leclair. Thank me because I buried my past so deep that that woman I used to be will never come back. Thank me because the Queen Of Pain is dead, because you wouldn't have survived her.
Last week, I showed you mercy, and still left you agonizing on the mat.
I'll never go back to my old self, i don't need it. This version of me is more than enough to make you regret stepping on my way.
Desist.
Last. Warning.
"Noir" by Shandon blares out of the loudspeakers. It's time for the tag match.
Tag Team Match
Gavin Grimes & Joey Leclair VS Helena Noir & Victoria Salinas
If “well begun is half done” things didn’t look too good for Joey and Gavin, already arguing about who should start the match. Helena and Victoria instead were calmly discussing their strategy, which could have probably be summed with the “Leave Joey to me” Helena whispered to Victoria’s ear as she stepped out of the ring, leaving the Vainglorious to take on the Captain. The bell rang, the time for smack talk was over. Victoria threw the first shot, a quick jab to the jaw. Grimes moved his head and dodged it, kicking the opponent’s leg, laughing and taunting her. She went for another punch, once again dodged by the Cult Classic winner who followed with another leg kick. A third time the scene repeated itself with the same outcome, this time Gavin followed with a forearm to the jaw and tossed Victoria against the ropes, tossing her over his head with a back body drop. He leaned toward her, saying something about her having to get to “his level” before stomping her face and making the tag to Leclair. Joey picked Victoria up and drove his knee to the mid section three times before lifting her upside down in a stalling vertical suplex, smirking at Helena before dropping Victoria down and making the cover. Salinas kicked out in two. A jawbreaker created the opening Victoria needed to make the tag to Helena who jumped inside the ring and ran at Joey, taking him down with a single leg dropkick. The Swedish born was on fire, taking all her frustration on her rival to the point where the referee seriously threatened her with a disqualification after she ignored his warnings and request to stop stomping the opponent in the corner. Pulling himself together, Leclair charged at her and found himself on the mat after an arm drag. Noir dropped her knee and made the cover, only getting a two out of it. Fully in control, she sent him in the corner, following with a dropkick to the face. Another tag and Victoria was back in the match, obtaining a near fall with her straightjacket neckbreaker slam. Punch after punch, Leclair tried to take control but a springboard busaiku knee once again turned the tables. Grimes rushed in to interrupt the count, kicking Victoria hard on the nape. Noir came in as well, charging at The Captain and taking him off guard with a sling blade. It wasn’t easy for the referee to restore order, none of the four competitors was listening to him. Eventually, the situation restored itself. First it was Gavin who left the ring after a superkick from Helena reached him right on the mush. The last Liberty Champion followed right after, rolling under the bottom rope after her head got kicked off by a bicycle kick. Once again it was Victoria and Joey, Salinas tried to attack Leclair from behind while he was insulting Helena on the outside but he saw her rushing out of the corner of her eye and quickly spun, knocking her down with the Death Dealer Elbow. He hooked the leg but it only got her a count of two. The same situation happened again a few minutes later, when Helena connected her Fondu Au Noir on Grimes, applying the guillotine choke right in the middle of the ring. Leclair obviously entered the ring to break up the submission, Victoria joined to save her tag partner from the beatdown. Another brawl was quickly resolved as Helena and Victoria got rid of Joey with a double superkick, waiting then for Gavin to rise up to his feet, probably looking to give him the same treatment. But Joey was back, and he was holding a steel chair slamming it on the back of Helena’s head, knocking her out cold and ending the match with a DQ. WINNER: Helena Noir & Victoria Salinas BY: DQ, 11:19 |
Victoria is a fury, turning around screaming out that she had enough of this bullshit. She goes to attack Joey, but Gavin grabs her arm and spins her around into a kick to the stomach. He asks Joey to drop the chair on the canvas, and as soon as the Death Dealer did what he asked, he planted Victoria on top of it with The Crowning.
The show cuts to the backstage area, where Reese Kennedy stands in front of the dressing room door of his client, The Chicago Way Champion, Jacob Hammerstein.
Reese Kennedy:
Good evening, Maebashi, and good evening to everyone watching across the world. Tonight, for the first time, the Millennium Champion, Melissa Reeves, will square off against YOUR Chicago Way Champion, The American Monster, Jacob Hammerstein in the main event in a Champion vs Champion match.
Kennedy puts his hands in his pockets, bows his head and sighs before looking up at the camera.
Reese Kennedy:
The only problem with this is that The Millennium Title is not on the line. It's a damn shame that the powers that be in this company are so terrified of THIS man (Kennedy points at Hammerstein.) that they refuse... outright refuse to grant him a shot at the top prize here. It's not like he hasn't earned it. He's beaten everyone who's been foolish enough to challenge him for The Chicago Way Title. He's easily the biggest draw this company has and his alliance with The American Pain Experience has only increased his drawing power. Hammerstein as Millennium Champion would help this company crush the competition. So why is The Millennium brass so afraid to give The American Monster a title shot?
Kennedy strokes his chin, as if deep in thought.
Reese Kennedy:
Maybe it's not Millennium brass that's scared…
MAYBE it's the Millennium Champion.
And after Mr Hammerstein is done with her tonight, that fear will be even greater.
Kennedy turns to go back into the dressing room, but stops and turns back to the camera.
Reese Kennedy:
Oh, by the way. Kenzie Garrett, you've said several times that The American Monster...YOUR Chicago Way Champion... couldn't draw. Well, Ms. Garrett, if you look at tonight's card, you'll see where he is. In the main event, where he belongs. You'll also see where you are. Upper midcard, higher than you deserve, feeding off his leftovers.
Remember that.
Singles Match
Champion versus Champion
Melissa Reeves VS HammersteinChampion versus Champion
Peyton Holland: “The MWE Champion against the Chicago Way Champion. This is a match you don’t wanna miss. Jessi Idol: “No titles on the line, but the stakes are still incredibly high.” And the two wrestlers in the ring knew it as well. the tension between them could be cut with a knife. And it kept building through all the time it took Rumchata Ayano to introduce them, eventually finding its outlet. As soon as the bell rang, right hands began to fly, neither one of them giving up a inch. The power and size advantage was obviously on Hammerstein’s side, but getting the best in a brawl exchange with Melissa Reeves was not easy, especially tonight with the champion looking extremely determined and with a huge chip on her shoulder. Peyton Holland: “Look at the intensity!” One of the MWE champion’s forearm caught Hammerstein on the side of the head and rocked him. The Chicago Way champion stumbled a few steps back, holding his head. He recovered quickly though, catching the Reaver with a kick to the stomach as she charged at him, doubling her over. He moved the her side and hammered her with a heavy forearm to the spine, dropping her flat on her chest. He lifted her head up by pulling her hair, squatting down next to her and saying something about her being lucky her title wasn’t on the line before slamming her face back on the canvas. Reeves was never one to take the disrespect lightly, standing up to her feet gnashing her teeth. Hammerstein went for a heavy right hand to the face, blocked by the champion who quickly kicked the Chicago Way champion’s leg. Jessi Idol: “This is what Hammerstein had to avoid. Giving Mel any chance to use those hard kicks of hers. Even though, I can’t lie, this is fun to watch.” Definitely less fun for the Chicago Way Champion, who was trying and failing to predict and block Mel’s next kick. With a reverse side kick to the stomach she doubled him over. Reeves charged at the ropes and caught him with a running ddt. She immediately rolled him on his back and laid on top of him, but the American Monster powered out in two. Peyton Holland: “It’s gonna take her a lot more than this to keep him down.” Melissa had no problems with that, keeping her offense fast and constant, favoring a style of offense more based on quick strikes rather than grappling sequences or suplex attempts. A spinning heel kick took the APE member down right in the middle of the ring. Mel rolled under the bottom rope and stood up on the apron. Reese had something to tell her, almost getting kicked in the face for it. Chased the manager away, Reeves jumped back in the ring with a springboard legdrop, landing hard on the rear when Hammerstein moved out of the trajectory. Jessi Idol: “Ouch!” Peyton Holland: “Once again Kennedy proved to be a great asset for the Chicago Way champion, buying him enough time to recover and dodge the legdrop.” Obviously, Hammy gained control after the missed legdrop, throwing Mel around with his array of Hammerplexes. Belly-to-belly, vertical, saito… each and every one of them followed by Reese reminding everyone all the titles his client the American Monster hoarded in 2019, stating them soon he will add the MWE World Championship to that list of accolades. He went for another german, Mel landed on her feet behind him and quickly took him down with a chop block. A change of strategy as she focused now on the leg, stomping it to the mat. Peyton Holland: “Melissa Reeves is just so versatile.” Jessi Idol: “You don’t become the longest reigning MWE champion by sheer luck, Pey” Kennedy started yelling at his opponent, trying to spur him as Reeves had him locked in a figure four leglock. Hammerstein powered through, reaching and grabbing the bottom rope. The MWE Champion took her sweet time before letting him go, fully exploiting the five count. Not the peak of sportsmanship, but not worth a disqualification as Kennedy was suggesting, in an attempt to distract Melissa. It didn’t work, and she was right back on the attack with more kicks to the leg and to the side. One of those was caught by Hammerstein, but before he could decide what to do, Reeves rocked him with an enziguri kick. Peyton Holland: ”Mel is in full control now.” Jessi Idol: “Outstanding performance by the MWE champ… FACIAL DECONSTRUCTOR!” Reese Kennedy looked in disbelief as his client went down after the champ’s codebreaker. Mel smiled and made the cover. Peyton Holland: “HE KICKED OUT!” The Facial Deconstructor, the move that earned Mel so many wins and titles wasn’t enough to keep the American Monster down. The shocked expression on Reese’s face changed to a manic laughter as Hammerstein rose up to his feet. Mel didn’t seem too impressed, or if she was she hid it well, getting back to work. Her kick was once again blocked by Hammerstein who, this time, immediately hit her with a forearm to the face. A few more followed before he whipped Mel against the ropes, hitting them as well on the other side of the ring and colliding against her with a ridiculous The Pounce that sent the champion flying across the ring. Wasting no time, he picked her up and shoved her in the corner, insisting on her midsection with some shoulder tackles, setting her up to the top tope and going for a Super Hammerplex. Jessi Idol: “Two and half!” Peyton Holland: “Mel kicked out, but it’s impressive how quickly Hammerstein turned things around.” And the Chicago Way champion wasn’t slowing down at all, still pounding Mel with those hard strikes. The MWE champion was, for the first time in a while, in real difficulty, completely taken aback by the sudden and violent reaction of the American Monster. But even in this moment of great difficulty, she was able to find an opening and exploit it, catching Hammerstein with a springboard cutter out of nowhere. Both competitors were laying down on the mat now, catching their breath. Understandable, after almost 20 intense minutes. Hammerstein was the first to get back to his feet, going to pick Melissa up looking to finish the match. Instead, he fell right in the champion’s trap, as she quickly wrapped her legs around his, locking him deep in her Iron Lock, the devastating heel hook. Just like before, Hammerstein tried to drag himself to the ropes, but the pain was too much this time, and eventually he had to tap out. WINNER: Melissa Reeves BY: Submission (Iron Lock), 21:01 |
As soon as the bell rings, Melissa lets go of her hold, joining the referee in the middle of the ring to get her arm raised in victory. Her celebration is cut short as Duke Andrews and Chris Constantine leap over the barricade, surrounding the MWE Champion. The cavalry comes promptly, welcomed by the loud cheers of the fans. Bobbi and Sophie rush to the ring, standing at the sides of the MWE Champion, right in front of the members of APE.
Peyton Holland:
It's about to go down...
An easy guess from the commentator, as soon as she says those words Constantine charges at Melissa, Bobbi jumps on Duke Andrews and O'Brian and Hammerstein start to trade blows. Chaos in the ring, an all out brawl involcing American Pain Experience and the trio of Reeves, O'Brian and Jackson. An incredibly evenly matched contest until Reese Kennedy slides in a chair, changing the game. In the hands of the Chicago Way champion, it becomes a weapon of mass destruction, decimating the opponents and buying his partners a break from the attacks of Mel and Bobbi. The three women don't give up the fight, even though things are starting to look bad for them.
Jessi Idol:
That's... That's Kenzie Garrett!
The Soulknife joins the fight, armed with a baseball bat. Her target, needless to say is the Chicago Way champion, and she's determined to get her hands on him, even though this means taking out Duke with a swing to the mid section. Hammerstein tuns to face her, wielding the chair in his hand. One swing of the bat and the chair flies off the Chicago Way Champion's hands, landing not too far from Melissa Reeves. For her next shot, Kenzie aims at Hammerstein's arm, then doubles him over with a nasty shot to the stomach, finishing him with one to the back. Constantine was only now getting up to his feet and before he realized that he was alone against four opponents, Mel hit him with the Facial Deconstructor, placing the chair between her knees and Chris' face. APE was down, the scene was all for Reeves, O'Brian, Jackson and Garrett, this last one yelling insults at Hammerstein and Kennedy.
Peyton Holland:
This is all for tonight, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for joining us and good night!
