Way Of The Dragon Tour
Millennium XLVI
Live from Wukesong Arena in Beijing
Wednesday, November 27th, 2019
The Wukesong Arena is filled to capacity, another sold out event for MWE in this Chinese tour. "When Legends Rise" by Godsmack blares out of the loudspeakers, pyrotechnics explode on the entrance stage as the tron airs the usual clip showing some action from the Millennium stars, ending with Melissa Reeves raising her title in the air. The camera then takes us to the commentary's table where Pey and Jessi welcome the fans with wide smiles.
Peyton Holland:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the second stop of the Way Of The Dragon Tour.
Jessi Idol:
We are live from Beijing, and what a show we have in store for these chinese fans!
Peyton Holland:
The MWE Champion in the main event, going one on one against Redd Thunder. And the Cloud Gate Champion will be in action as well, taking on Bobbi Jackson in a non title match.
Jessi Idol:
The Tag Team Tournament goes on with a match from group A, South Texas Deathride going on against The Golden Era in our opening contest.
Peyton Holland:
And speaking of them, Neil and Kyle have something to say. Let's hear it from them.

And speaking of them, Neil and Kyle have something to say. Let's hear it from them.
The scene opens backstage in the men’s locker room. Sitting down on a steel folding chair is Neil Newman. He is looking stoic, his arms are crossed, feels like he is getting himself into the zone. Behind him, his more energetic tag team partner, Kyle Butler, is shadow boxing, getting himself primed and ready for there match later in the night.
Neil Newman:
Yo Kyle. Can you stop a sec?
Kyle Butler stops. He makes his way to stand in front of the stoic looking Neil.
Kyle Butler.
What’s up, bud?
Neil Newman:
For starters we need to be better tonight.
Kyle Butler:
Still musing about the small package? I’m sorry.
Neil shakes his head.
Neil Newman:
It’s not that. Truth be told, if our match against Emi and Kimmi was a TOURNAMENT MATCH, the contest would have ended in a draw, negating the small package all together. Losing sucks no matter how you slice it. The only bit of good news is they didn’t get any points. We need to end this within 15 minutes. Draws are unacceptable. With the talent in this tournament, we can’t leave any room for error. Understood?
Kyle nods.
Kyle Butler:
Of course bud.
Neil stands up. He places his hands on Kyle’s shoulder.
Neil Newman:
We are the Golden Era dam it, the pinnacle of tag team wrestling. Losing to a team with death in their name is unacceptable. What are they supposed to be, a badass team? Are we supposed to fear them? No. We don’t need to intimidate or have an over the top name in order to make our mark. We go out there. We execute. Show the world that the fundamentals of wrestling still matter. And Kyle. Under 15 minutes. Winning is the only option acceptable. Now what do you say to that?
Kyle is fired up by Neil’s passionate speech. He slaps Neil’s chest. He then slaps his own. Obviously, he screams...
Kyle Butler:
ROOOOOOLL RIDE, BAY BAY.
Neil slaps Kyle’s chest.
Neil Newman:
Damn right!
Backstage we find Sophie O’Brian stretching before her match tonight against Luna. Her focus is interrupted when she is approached by none other than the blonde hair pink tipped newly crowned GCW World Champion and one half of the Most Valuable Friendship, Aubrianna Powers.
Aubrianna Powers:
Well look at what the cat drug in.
O’Brian stands up and stares a hole right through Powers.
Sophie O'Brian:
What do you want, Powers?
Aubrianna Powers:
I’m here as part of a tag tournament. I’m here to help my FRIEND, Dick, win the MWE tag team tournament. Because let’s face it, Sophie, anyone who teams with ME is guaranteed a win.
She pokes Sophie in the chest.
Aubrianna Powers:
Unlike you, success seems to follow me wherever I go. Me and Aphrodite? CO-Tapout Champions. I single handedly took Melanie McBride to a world tag team title in Motor City Wrestling. So of course Dick chose ME as his partner to lead him to victory! Maybe if you stick around me, Sophie, you can learn a thing or two about tag team wrestling.
Sophie O'Brian:
You, help me with tag team wrestling?
O’Brian chuckles sarcastically.
Sophie O'Brian:
Do you have any idea who you are speaking with, you dimwitted, arrogant harpy? Tag team wrestling was, is, and always will be MY wheelhouse. My brother and I have dominated tag team wrestling. The only reason I am choosing to go it alone now is because I want to prove myself. Through any means necessary, Scorched Earth Policy…
O’Brian gets up in Aubrianna’s face. After a brief but tense stare down it is Powers who backs down first.
Aubrianna Powers:
You’re nuts.
The blonde turns and walks off. Sophie smirks as she goes back to stretching.
Tag Team Tournament Match
Group A
Group A
Golden Era VS South Texas Deathride
South Texas looked impressive in their MWE debut, taking the BreeTee Committee to their limit in an epic battle last week in Guangzhou. A similar fate as the one suffered by the Golden Era in their exhibition match against Kimmi Keister and Emi Yamamoto on the Riot episode aired from Dongguan. Both teams looked focused while Rumchata Ayano made the introductions, reminding the rules of the tournament. 3 points to the winner, one each if there’s no decision within the 15 minutes time limit. As soon as she left, Kyle and Neil charged at their opponents and knocked them down with a clothesline each. The ref rushed to start the match, ringing the bell while Butler tossed Reno outside. Golden Era then focused on Bret with a double kick to the stomach; with the opponent doubled over, they hit him simultaneously with a roundhouse kick to the chest and a low one to take off his legs. Newman made the cover looking for a quick win, that obviously didn’t happen. Neil was putting on a clinic tonight, showing all his technical prowess with a series of beautiful suplex on either opponent, including a gutwrench variation that earned him a two count. Things took a turn for the worst for him when Reno escaped the waist lock with a standing switch and, once finding himself behind the opponent’s back, he pushed him against the ropes for and rolled him over with an O’Connor roll. Instead of pinning him, he lifted Newman in a wheelbarrow position and while James, who took the blind tag moments earlier, caught him with a codebreaker. With Bret now in, the pace of the match kicked up a notch, his fast paced offense creating issues to the technical wrestler. Worth noting a 450 splash on which Butler had to step in and break up the pinfall and save his partner. Kyle finally took the tag, his freshness allowing him to easily take control and slow down the high flier. James managed to stun him with jawbreaker and quickly went to the top rope, jumping for a double axe handle and getting caught with a hard punch to the gut. The inverted headlock backbreaker only gave Butler a two count, although he didn’t seem too convinced by the official’s call. And while he was busy arguing, Bret sneaked toward his corner. Kyle noticed it just in time to grab his ankle and block him, but he couldn’t avoid the following enziguri that opened James the way to Reno. Jackson brought in a new level of energy, surprising the opponent with a stiff forearm to the jaw, sending him into a neutral corner with an irish whip, following up with a corner clothesline and a swinging neckbreaker in rapid succession. The match went on with the two competitors picking up near fall after near fall. An eye rake allowed Butler to make the tag to Newman. Kyle took care of James knocking him off the apron with a big boot, while Newman had Reno in a bear hug, holding him for his partner’s lariat. The End Of An Era lived up its name, giving the Golden Era their first win and three vital points in the tournament. WINNER: Golden Era BY: Pinfall (End Of An Era), 12:51 |
Peyton Holland: "Another great performance from South Texas Deathride, but just like last time, it wasn't enough to get the win."
Jessi Idol: "True.. But this time it was a tournament match, things get quite complicate for Reno and James."
Peyton Holland: "True that. Technically, they're not out yet, but they'll need a miracle to advance"

Millennium cuts to a pre-recorded vignette where Victoria Salinas is seen sitting in front of a fireplace as if she’s taking in the scenery as well as some thoughts that cross her mind. She’s in a confident, albeit, reflective mood as she looks ahead to the near future. For now however, she’s reflecting on a bit of the past.
Victoria Salinas:
It hit me recently that a lot of why I had lost my confidence before is the fact that I was a victim of my own success.
A quick, three second snapshot of her first ever title victory back in December of 2009 appears.
Victoria Salinas:
Six matches in… BOOM! I’m already a title holder.
The next three second snapshot focuses on her first world title victory back in January 2011.
Victoria Salinas:
Fourteen months in, BOOM! World Champion already! I was 22 and had already won every single solo belt that my original company had to offer. First world title reign? Seven months, 219 days: a record that nobody broke. That was the title reign where I had staked my claim as a “big match wrestler”.
The next snapshot features her second world title win in July 2012.
VVictoria Salinas:
There I go again, success on the big stage. Two-time world champion at the age of 24? What is all this? By then, I had taken pride in being one of the biggest, most marketable stars in the world. I let that success get to my head. I let that success grow my own ego. When my original company fell apart, I went to Mexico and dominated for a year because I felt like I was too good for American wrestling. Then I hit GCW in late 2014…
The next snapshot features her winning the GCW TV Championship in December 2014.
Victoria Salinas:
Instant success! Just like that! Not even 10 matches in.
The snapshot after that features a Civil War victory in January 2015.
Victoria Salinas:
One month later, winning a three ring battle royal for a world title shot at the grandest stage of all for GCW…
Naturally, the next shot is her winning the GCW World Championship and holding both that and the TV title simultaneously.
Victoria Salinas:
Within four months, I had done it all in GCW. My peers figured me out after that and after that reign ended, I hadn’t been as successful as I was used to… but I pulled through it, adjusted and at the end of 2016, a fourth world championship. Months later, successful again on the big stage. Months after that… there’s my fifth world title. By the time I hit 30, I was a 12 time title holder, with five of those being world championships. Nowadays?
I’m closer to 32 than 31 and I haven’t held onto any title of any kind in about a year and a half.
Victoria takes a pause, reflecting on this realization. She knows deep down where it’s all gone wrong and what mistakes she had made but she continues to remain poised feeling no shame at all with expressing said mistakes on her part.
Victoria Salinas:
Where I became a victim of my own success is that I came to expect it so much out of myself. I made a career out of going to just about any company, hitting the ground running and being a top contender in short order. I’ve done that in any company where I’ve had at least six months of tenure. But not here… and it burdened me and I couldn’t figure out why… until recently. I had set the bar so high for myself that the bar became impossible to reach. That’s only one mistake though, I have to admit that. Another layer to this? It got to my head. I had it wired in me that without any “instant success” I was nothing as a wrestler… hence why I had crashed so hard lately. Even though I had been lagging in Hybrid, I figured that coming here? Things would be more of the same as they had been for most of my career. Complacency and confidence loss seemed to feed off of each other in this toxic cycle but despite that, when I first got here, there was this defiant piece of me that was still driven to be arrogant and act like I had it all figured out. I didn’t express it because it was buried so deep within my conscience I couldn’t realize…
...until now.
In my earlier career, I was a prideful, immature little shit who thought she knew everything. My first world title planted a really bad seed in my soul that made me overconfident, arrogant, conceited, hell it gave me a superiority complex. It was benign at first but with time, it just grew to where I was turning so many people off. I went through a phase where the fans hated me and while I matured and grew past it, I didn’t do it enough. This company has humbled me in so many ways and I see where I went wrong. I was in my early 20’s back then… I didn’t know better. But it’s no excuse… and it’s just another thing I have to atone for.
My confidence may be coming back, but I know to be careful to not make the same mistake again. No matter how much I want to create a new era of success for my career, I can not and will not lose sight of who I am… not again. Last week was the start. Tonight, I finally string together a win streak. Carmine Reaper came in with a lot more fanfare than I did. Hopefully for his sake, he’s not thinking about Gavin Grimes so much. But that’s fine, that’s not my focus.
My focus is to continue building that confidence and to keep inspiring. I’ll be a champion again real soon, one step at a time. I know deep in my heart I still have what it takes to be the consistent winner I’ve been before… but deep in my mind, I know that when I reach my full potential, when this redemption does happen, that I’m also smart enough to stay humble, stay true to myself and to avoid repeating the mistakes of before.
This company has come to mean a lot to me with what it’s taught me. Soon… I’ll show this company that I’ve mastered what I’ve learned from all this.
Victoria glares at the fire, continuing to remain focused and determined on further rebuilding her confidence and keeping on the right track as the vignette fades out.
The Chicago Way Champion, Jacob Hammerstein, and his manager, Reese Kennedy are walking through the backstage area when Kennedy sees the camera crew. He calls them over.
Reese Kennedy:
It seems that perhaps my words last week caused quite the stir with not only our hosts, but also with members of the management and roster of this company. It’s an unfortunate occurrence, and, out of respect for our hosts and our co-laborers, I’d like to take the opportunity to clear the air.
Kennedy scratches his head and looks at his client, as if he’s confused. Suddenly his eyes light up and the lightbulb goes off in his head.
Reese Kennedy:
But that’s impossible, because the air is so polluted that, even with all the “progress” that’s been made to make the air breathable here, the air quality has been classified as VERY unhealthy. What that means is that the air is so polluted that it’s recommended that noone stays outside for an extended amount of time, especially children...CHILDREN! Imagine not being able to go outside and play, not because it’s storming outside, and not even because the traumatizer of children herself, Kenzie Garrett, is waiting around the corner to jump out and scare the bejeesus out of you, but because the very air you breathe can quite literally kill you.
But the Party will tell you it’s fine.
Kennedy gives someone off camera the side-eye.
Reese Kennedy:
Hey, Brothers McMillion. I’m sure it’s been a fun experience for you guys so far. Hey, quick question. How much money are you two being paid to keep your political opinions to yourselves? And are you being paid in US Dollars or Yuan?
Kennedy lets the questions float in the ether for a moment before continuing.
Reese Kennedy:
So, whether I agree with the Chinese Government or not doesn't matter?
You're right.
It doesn't matter whether or not I agree with a totalitarian government that arrests, convicts and hands down a life sentence in prison to a human rights lawyer simply for advocating for the citizenry.
It doesn't matter whether or not I agree with a government that violates the reproductive rights of women and illegally detain rape victims for the "crime" of calling out the authorities that are bungling the case.
It doesn't matter whether or not I agree with a government that denies visas and entry to same-sex spouses of legal citizens.
And it doesn't matter whether or not I agree with a government that actively persecutes all religious people, regardless of creed, that don't bow their knee to the Chairman. A government that calls an ancient branch of the Buddhist tradition a dangerous cult for pushing their tenants of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance.
Sure, it doesn't matter whether I agree with this government, as long as I can put smiles on the faces of the fans in attendance. Fans that, after we're gone, will once again be under the thumb of this government.
To those of you who don't understand why there may be opposition to this tour, why don't you go to Tiananmen Square, where…..
Kennedy's mic is cut. He smiles and shakes his head. He motions to The Chicago Way Champion, who unzips his jacket and pulls it off, revealing a t-shirt that features the symbol of the Falun Gong. Again, Hammerstein flips off the camera and turns to walk away. His path, however, is blocked by Ray Reznik, who stands in front of him, his very presence seemingly daring Hammerstein to make the first move. Kennedy steps between the fighters, trying to convince his client to back away. Millennium officials are soon on the scene to try to keep the peace as the feed switches back to ringside.

Singles Match
Carmine Reaper VS Victoria SalinasAnother big match for Victoria Salinas, another chance to prove herself after defeating Joey Leclair last week. And just like last wednesday in Guangzhou, her match saw a third-party joining Peyton Holland and Jessi Idol at commentary. Someone Carmine knew oh so well, a man he shared a lot of history and battles with back in NGW, Gavin Grimes. The Captain walked to the commentary booth when the match had already started, making sure to announce his presence was announced by Throne by Bring Me The Horizon blaring out of the PA System, thus distracting his long time rival who had just sent Victoria against the ropes with an irish whip Seeing Carmine having his back turned to her, she took no pity and hit him from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. When he turned around, she had series of right hands waiting for him, prelude to the standing roundhouse kick. At ringside, Gavin pointed out how the vision of Reaper laying on his back was quite familiar to him. Almost as if he heard him, Carmine kicked out in one and blocked another right hand from Salina, sending her against the ropes and launching himself on her, pinning her to the mat with all his bodyweight with a Lou Thesz Press and rained down lefts and rights to her face. Once satisfied, he wrapped his hands around her throat and sent dragged her back to a vertical position, turning her head with a right hook, lifting her and dropping her down with a bodyslam. Using his power advantage, Reaper was now controlling the match, slowly dismantling Salinas with hard strikes and a lot of suplexes, getting a near fall out of an overhead belly to belly. Insisting with this strategy, he launched the opponent against the turnbuckle with a pop up powerbomb, catching her with a reverse STO on the rebound. Even Gavin had to admit that, after the false start, Carmine was showing his skills, looking in great shape considering the long absence from the ring. Victoria was struggling now, only able to break the opponent’s offense every now and then with sudden strikes or counter moves, like when she was caught with a sidewalk slam and turned it into a satellite ddt. But aside from those sporadic moments, that still earned her some very close near falls, the ball seemed to firmly be in Carmine’s court. Until Victoria caught him with a busaiku knee, sending him flat on his back. She followed up with a springboard moonsault, but once again Reaper raised a shoulder in time. The knee to the face obviously stunned him, making his defense slower and less effective with holes Victoria capitalized on. A chop block took him to his knees, allowing Salinas to catch him in her shining triangle submission. “He’s done” said Grimes on commentary when Carmine started to fade. Unable to break the submission, too tired to try deadlifting his opponent, with a desperate move he put all his bodyweight down, trying to keep both her shoulders pinned to the mat. To kick out, Victoria had to break the submission, letting her opponent go. And while he was catching his breath after almost having been choked out, she hit the Vanity Breaker, obtaining another important win. WINNER: Victoria Salinas BY: Pinfall (Vanity Breaker), 11:24 |
Jessi Idol: Great win for Victoria!
Peyton Holland: "Gavin, what do you... WHOA!"
Carmine Reaper grabs Gavin Grimes and drags him put of the commentary booth, hitting him with some furious strikes. Gavin answers with some shots of his own, but Reaper fires him against the steel steps. Before Grimes can understand exactly what's going on, the forme NGW hall of famer picks him up once again and powerbombs him though the announcer's desk. A few more insults thrown his way, some stomps for good measures and finally Carmine leaves. The doctor and paramedics immediately check on Grimes.

"Noir" by Shandon blares out of the PA system signaling the entrance of the last Liberty Champion Helena Noir. Dressed to compete, she steps inside the ring and asks for a microphone.
Helena Noir:
I promise I'll keep this short. I've just been informed that Gavin Grimes is not cleared to compete tonight.
Loud boos follow this statement.
Helena Noir:
I know, I know... It sucks. I was honeslty looking forward to fight against a Multi-Time Champion like Gavin.. But Carmine deprived me of that, he deprived all of you of a great match...
I didn't came here to Beijing to watch the show. I came here to fight.
And since my match had to be cancelled, I paid a visit to Chloe Collins and convinced her to add me to this triple threat.
Reznik, Garrett... And you, Leclair.
Don't make me wait.

Four Way Match
Joey Leclair VS Kenzie Garrett VS Raymond Reznik VS Helena NoirFrom a triple threat to a fatal 4 way. And the happiest of them all appeared to be Joey Leclair, who was already savoring the chance to put his hands on Helena Noir, after the two of them have been on the outs in recent times. And in fact, he didn’t even wait for the bell to take on the last Liberty Champion, trading hands with her in the centre of the ring. Then came Reznik, who in the meantime got rid of Kenzie with surprising ease, dropping her on the top rope with a flapjack and knocking her into next week with a discus elbow. Raymond grabbed their heads and bashed them one against the other, knocking the two rivals down. He then focused on Helena, launching her against the ropes and waiting for her with his arm extended out for a clothesline. Noir ducked it and bounced back on the opposite side, catching him with sling blade. Showing off her athleticism, she jumped on her feet with a kip up, but as soon as she was back on a vertical basis, Garrett jumped in with a springboard dropkick. The Soulknife never kept hidden that she wants another shot at Hammerstein, but instead of protesting, she was out here making her case and dominating the match against far more experienced opponents. Holding Helena in an inverted facelock, she ran towards Joey and stepped on his chest, pushing herself off it and spinning in mid-air to drive the tattooed woman on the mat with a shiranui, pushing Leclair against the nearby corner in the process. Sitting on Helena’s chest, she grabbed her leg for a pinfall attempt interrupted by a hard kick to the back from Reznik. Joey and Helena seemed to be more focused on tearing each other apart rather than anything else. Or at least Joey was, pulling Noir down from Reznik’s back while she was choking him out with a sleeper hold, hitting her with the Death Dealer Elbow Smash (spinning elbow smash) the exact same moment she spun around. He didn’t even consider pinning her, mounting on top of her and raining down some hard right hands. Throughout this flurry, he started insulting her, pushing her to find that fire that, according to him, she has lost. The punches turned down into slaps, literally adding insult to injury. The disrespectful gesture awoken something in Helena who managed to turn the tables and switch position, finding herself now on top of the Death Dealer giving him a taste of his own medicine. Reznik interrupted this bashing by grabbing Helena from behind and lifting her for a German suplex. Before he could follow up, Garrett launched herself onto him with a crossbody, caught in mid air by the Ohio born who then dropped the young girl on his knee with a backbreaker. He went to pick up Helena, but the last Liberty Champion had already left the ring, recovering on the outside. Kenzie became then his chosen victim, a role the Soulknife wasn’t going to play. He hit her with a series of rapid fire elbows in the corner before whipping her to the opposite side. Kenzie ran up the turnbuckle and flipped backwards, landing on her feet behind the opponent and pushing him against the turnbuckle with a dropkick. Helena and Joey were battling on the outside in an escalation of violence not too far away from the commentary table. Or actually where the commentary table should have been if Carmine Reaper didn’t put Gavin through it earlier tonight. And while these two were beating the hell out of each other dangerously close to Peyton and Jessi who seemed to be fearing for their own incoulmity, inside the ring Kenzie was climbing to the top rope after knocking her opponent down with repeated knee strikes. And from the top she dove off, landing on Raymond with the cannonball senton she calls Pinball Wizard, earning nothing more than a two count. Reznik once again regained control with a vertical suplex, keeping the opponent upside down for over half a minute. Kenzie kicked out in two, immediately fighting back hitting the opponent with some punches to the stomach. They were still brawling when Highway To Hell by AC/DC blasted through the Arena. The Soulknife instantly froze, her eyes locking with the Chicago Way Champion who was walking down the ramp with the title on his shoulder. She began yelling at him, but Hammerstein didn’t seem to care, stating that he wasn’t here for her. This pushed Kenzie over the edge. Snarling she bent to leave through the ropes, but Reznik spun her back into his Kneehlism (ripcord v-trigger), leaving her laying flat on her back. An intense staredown followed between the Chicago Way Champion and Raymond. No words were necessary, their eyes telling the whole story. The tension was palpable, and it found its inevitable outlet in another fight between the two men, with Hammy pulling Double R out by his foot and swinging the title to his face. Reznik ducked and hit him with a punch to pit of the stomach. He fought the champion up the ramp, pushing Hammerstein further back toward the entrance stage. In the meantime, Joey sent Helena face first against the steel post, sliding in to capitalize on the still stunned Kenzie. A vicious elbow by Reznik caused Hammerstein to drop the title on the ramp. More heavy punches flew from the two contestants in an intense brawl, while Joey was lifting Garrett and nailing her with a brainbuster. He quickly went for the leg, grabbing her foot in his Ripping Claws (ankle lock). He had yet to start twisting the ankle and put pressure on it when Noir rushed in the ring and knocked him senseless with the Dalecarlian Horse (busaiku knee). The fans popped on their feet, both for the move that knocked Joey down and the Grim Fandango Kenzie nailed Helena with. On the outside Hammerstein just got the slightest advantage and used it to drop Raymond down with a reverse sto on the Chicago Way Championship. The bell rang, Kenzie just won another huge match but her attention immediately drifted to Hammerstein, who was picking up his title and dusting it off with his hand. His eyes met now Kenzie’s as she was stepping on the lower rope and staring holes through Hammerstein. Who just laughed and shook his head, disappearing backstage under a rain of boos. WINNER: Kenzie Garrett BY: Pinfall (Grim Fandango), 14:33 |
Peyton Holland: "Well, it looks like Raymond and Hammerstein are not over it."
Jessi Idol: "Yeah, but I rather talk about Kenzie and her big time win, rather than two psycho's trying to tear each other apart."
Peyton Holland: "Kenzie is proving week in and week out to be one of the fastest rising stars in the company."
Jessi Idol: "Win after win, she's making a name for herself, but she still doesn't seem to have taken her eyes off the Chicago Way Champion."
Peyton Hollans: "She never hid it. She want Hammerstein, one on one."

Sophie O’Brian
Carmine Reaper was the first to fall.
Backstage we find Sophie O’Brian pacing with a determined stride. A bottle of an unknown liquid is in her right hand, which she occasionally stops to take a sip before speaking again.
Sophie O’Brian
If any of you think you have what it takes to bring me down then be my guest; you are welcome to fight me anytime you want and I will gladly put you down just like I put down Reaper, just like I will put down Luna here tonight, just like I will put down anyone and everyone who dares get in my way.
Sophie chuckles lightly as she turns to face the camera.
Sophie O’Brian
Oh Luna, such potential you have and yet at the same time you are still so very blind to the realities of this world. Winning is the name of the game. Winning is how you get ahead in this business and you do so by any means necessary. That is the message I took from the great Glenn Braddock who said that ‘a professional wrestler is, him or herself, a lethal weapon; use what you know wisely.’ In other words do not waste time. Do whatever it takes to push others out of your way and take whatever it is that you want.
She points a finger at the camera.
Sophie O’Brian
What you fail to realize is that this isn’t about the glitz, the glamour, or the limelight. You can have all of that, Luna. I could care less about any of it. All I want, all I crave, is victory. I crave to see the broken bodies of my enemies lying bloodied and battered at my feet. I crave absolute destruction.
Sophie takes a big swig of her drink and tosses it aside. She produces what appears to be a lighter and then without warning spits a fireball. A smirk forms upon her face.
Sophie O’Brian
Scorched Earth Policy is on its way, Luna, and I will burn all of your dreams to the ground.
O’Brian walks off.
Luna Smith’s long hair can be first seen as she comes into the picture with a fresh makeup look professionally done in her home. She’s wearing her black denim shorts with open toed wedge sandals and one of her brother’s Millennium shirts fashioned into a crop tank top. The Millennium star is walking herself to the outside porch.
Luna Smith:
So first I’d like to thank that Riot staff member who not only put my little vlog on the Riot show but then joined the strike by not working anymore until I am given my title match I’m due.
She stops walking once outside and puts on her dolce and gabbana sunglasses, as she sits out on the porch seat with her legs up behind her.
Luna Smith:
But I’m not in China right now for yet another show because, I mean, I’m not fighting against Sophie O'Brian. Let’s be real.
Luna cracks a snickering laugh
Luna Smith:
I’m an exclusive talent to Millennium, I’m the best Lockdown Champion they’ve ever had. What even was that title match they had on last week’s show?
Luna’s eyes open and then look off before returning to the camera with a confused look. She breaks the small pause with a little laugh before resuming her vlog message
Luna Smith:
All you need to do is give me my title rematch, plus the bonus I would have won that night and obviously my money for last week’s and this week’s show….this strike is your fault after all. I’m The Star of the Night, the Millennium Masterpiece you should not allow raven thugs to interfere in my matches just so Tiffany can keep her reign going.
That’s when a Holly Helper brings out Luna’s strawberry infused sparkling water in a tall glass, wedge of strawberry and a strawberry sugar dusting of the rim of the glass. Luna obviously helps herself to the strawberry.
Luna Smith:
Enjoy the long flights everyone. I’ll be waiting for that call.
As Luna cleans off her finger with the bits of sugar before sipping her drink as the camera slowly fades to black.

Backstage at Millennium Bobbi Jackson is seen sitting on a bunch of production crates. Far away from the loud sounds and distractions of the main part of the arena. Looking to focus herself for her big match later on in the evening against the Cloud Gate Champion Tiff Rollins. As a camera crew approaches Bobbi turns her head in their general direction sighing softly.
Bobbi Jackson:
So I'm sure you want my thoughts on my match later on tonight?
The camera nods up and down slightly as if to answer the question without speaking. The Phoenix turns her body to completely face the cameras as she begins to speak.
Bobbi Jackson:
Before I can get to tonight, I need to address last week. Duke Andrews, you're a damn coward. You had no answer for me last week. You knew in the pit of your gut that you were about to lose. And you tucked tail and ran like a little bitch. Is that really the type of champion Millennium wants representing their company? A man who runs from their opponents to keep their championship? A man who degrades the countries this company puts us in to wrestle and entertain the fans? You're not a great champion Duke. You are everything I hate about this industry that I love so damn much.
Bobbi slams her fist on the crates in frustration, the anger on her face is evident.
Bobbi Jackson:
We're going to meet in that ring again really soon. I'll be taking that Lockdown Championship from you and giving Millennium and their great fans a champion they can be proud of. Speaking of which...
The demeanor of the Phoenix slowly changes from anger and frustration to one of honor and respect.
Bobbi: Jackson:
Tonight I step into the ring with Tiff Rollins. The Cloud Gate Champion. A woman who has proudly held and defended that championship now for almost an entire year. That's an incredible feat. Because it's always one thing to win a championship, but it's another thing to be able to keep it for a great period of time and do it in an honorable fashion. You've done that Rollins. Frankly, I respect the hell out of you...
Bobbi says hopping down off the production crates before leaning against them slightly with her left hand.
Bobbi Jackson:
Unlike last week, I know you're not going to run from a fight. I know the two of us are going to put on a hell of a match and steal the show for all these great fans here in Beijing.
The Phoenix smirks a bit.
Bobbi Jackson:
I know you're gonna be looking to death kick my head off, but don't be surprised when I catch your foot before you can and lock in the Trial by Fire, making you tap out for the entire world to see. Because you see Tiff, even without your championship on the line tonight I intend to make a statement. Not only to you, but to the fans, to management, and to myself that I am ready to have championship gold around my waist here...
Bobbi stands up straight, a fire in her eyes and a look of confidence on her face as she says.
Bobbi Jackson:
Beijing, the Phoenix has landed. Tiff, prepare to go to war! I'll see you out there!
With that Bobbi walks off as the cameraman watches her leave as she walks down the hall most likely going back to her locker room for final preparations as Millennium returns to ringside for the next match up.
Singles Match
Tiff Rollins VS Bobbi JacksonEven in China, the Cloud Gate Champion received the biggest pop of the night. The young girl smiled, ever so slightly. It was clear that something was on her mind, something that affected her performance in the first part of the match where Bobbi was in full control. A kick to the leg, one to the side and a lariat to take the Murder Machine down, but not for long. Stubborn as ever, Tiff was right back on her feet, falling victim of a second clothesline. And a third one. She managed to duck the fourth attempt and double the opponent over with a reverse side kick. Hitting the ropes, Rollins tried to take back control with the Peacemaker, the leaping high knee she learned from Andreas Lasiewicz himself. Jackson saw it coming and moved out of the way just in time, taking Tiffany down with a jumping neckbreaker, obtaining the first near fall of the match. It took five minutes to see the actual first offensive move from the Cloud Gate Champion. Raising her boot to counter the charging opponent while she was stuck in the corner, Tiffany then climbed to the middle rope and jumped to Bobbi with a single leg dropkick, taking the Rising Phoenix down. She waited for Bobbi to start getting up to start kicking her hard on the chest. Once, twice, three times. And every time the cheers grew in volume, getting almost deafening when Tiff went for the Death Kick, dodged by Jackson who tried to catch the champ off guard with a school boy pin. A swinging ddt was the closest Tiffany could get to the win, but Bobbi raised her shoulder just in the nick of time. Keeping her cool and sticking to her plan, Tiffany sent Bobbi against the ropes and went for a clothesline, ducked by Jackson who then launched herself against Tiff with a spear. An unprettier from Bobbi gave the illusion of the upset win for the Rising Phoenix, but the referee confirmed that it was only a count of two. Jackson went back to work, softening the champion with some kicks and lifting her over her shoulders for a death valley driver. Rollins grabbed the top rope to prevent it, holding on it desperately until Bobbi had no choice but to change her plan, pushing the opponent out of the ring. Tiff easily landed on the apron and, almost as easily, ducked the right hook, driving her shoulder in Jackson’s mid section. Cautiously, she entered back in the ring and went for a codebreaker, Tiffany went for another Death Kick, clearly, for some reason, in a rush to close the match. Again Bobbi avoided it and quickly kicked Tiffany in the stomach, doubling her over and setting her up for the Phoenix Landing (pedigree). Tiff countered by putting her body weight down, pushing the opponent back in the corner in a desperate attempt to avert the danger. As Bobbi bounced back, she kicked her leg and dropped her on the knee, finally connecting the Death Kick this time. After the bell rang and the referee raised her hand, she thanked Jackson for the match and offered her a handshake as the ultimate sign of respect. WINNER: Tiff Rollins BY: Pinfall (Death Kick), 10:52 |
Peyton Holland: "And Tiffany comes out victorious of a hard fought battle against Bobbi, who definitely earned her respect tonight."
Jessi Idol: "Yeah and..."

Right after her match against, Tiffany asks for a microphone. This is the first time we’re about to hear from the Cloud Gate Champion since the attack at the hands of Anastasia Starling. To most individuals, one would think Ana is only interested in putting an end to the 300+ day reign of the champion, but Tiff knows better, and tonight, after an impressive battle with Bobbi Jackson, she now wants some answers. The fans quiet down as Tiff begins to speak.
Tiff Rollins:
I’m sorry guys. I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately. Quiet about this whole situation with Ana Starling…
A mixed reaction from the name drop.
Tiff Rollins:
I wanted to handle this in private, but...you know...it’s funny...every time I think I can handle anything in private, somehow it always comes out for the whole world to see. Every...single...time…
The frustration is clear on the face of the champion.
Tiff Rollins:
I never wanted things to turn out this way. I just wanted to be the best damn fighting champion I can be, but this title reign has been tainted by people making every fucking thing personal. My biggest secret...the truth about my family...that was exposed. Coen...my boyfriend...I don’t see him anymore. And why? Because the people who did all this to me wanted to take this title from me…
Tiffany briefly looks at the Cloud Gate title draped across her shoulder.
Tiff Rollins:
Despite everything I’ve been through, despite everything I’ve been put through, I’m still here, still standing as the longest reigning champion in all of Millennium!
The crowd cheers at that, but that passion quickly fades away.
Tiff Rollins:
But this time...things are...different…
She takes a deep breath as the crowd completely silences.
Tiff Rollins:
I know you’re all familiar with the Songbird. Anastasia Starling. I know I am. Things are a little different with her. While everyone before her put me through all kinds of emotional hell just to take this title from me, when it comes to Starling, there’s a lot more to it. She may claim that it doesn’t matter what she wants, but I know that’s not true. That’s why I want some answers…
Tiff then turns to the stage as the fans anticipate what’s about to happen next.
Tiff Rollins:
Starling! I know you’re listening. If you don’t wanna do this privately, then stop hiding like a little bitch, come down here and face me!
The crowd roars as Tiff slams the microphone to the mat and slides the title off her shoulder, ready for a showdown. It was at this moment that “Silence” by Trancend started blasting out from the P.A. System, the main lights darkening around the arena and strobes went off. As the lyrics of Sarah McLachlan’s classic begin ringing out, the winged figure wearing black on black begins to emerge from the fog of the entrance way, her wingspan creating a horrifying silhouette. The dainty Songbird steps out, one hand rubbing her left shoulder as she peers out into the crowd with those famous greens and blues, flinching slightly at the few muted cries of ‘Monster’ that whispered in her ear. She takes her time coming down to the ring, circling it as she keeps her eyes locked on Tiffany, not a single emotion upon her face. She only breaks her gaze twice, once to stare coldly at the commentators for the briefest of moments, before she struts past them and performs a one handed cartwheel. She pauses again, the slightest of smiles on her face as she stares into the front row, mouthing something under her breath before she rolls into the ring, electing not to flip over it as she usually did. As the music begins to die down, Anastasia’s gaze returns to Tiffany’s, her eyes locking with hers as she paces over.
There was a very eerie silence, Starling looking down upon Tiffany in one of the very few encounters in which she is the larger athlete, but she doesn't say a single word. And neither does Tiffany, who keeps her stare with the Pale Winged Passerine. The audience are silent, the commentators ae silent, and a pin could have dropped and been heard by each and everyone of the thousands watching in attendance. Starling then very calmly kneels down, picking up the microphone but without breaking that intense stare, those hetreochromia afflicted eyes cutting a hole through the Five Foot Deathkick. As she rises up again, she side glances to the crowd, seeing a little bit of movement amongst the fans as she gives a tall figure in the front row a very curt nod. The camera cuts back to the two decorated combatants, and Anastasia raises the microphone to her cherry red lips.
Anastasia Starling:
YOUR family?
She utters, not threatening, not intimidating, but in the softest and sweetest tones that could ever be heard, as a single red tear seems to trickle down her cheek. Tiff doesn’t flinch, nor did she when Ana wipes the crimson tear with her own finger, then plants it into the palm of Tiffany’s hand. Rollins watches her, as Ana’s eyes cut back to the crowd, and then she backs away. There were a few boos from the crowd, who were clearly expecting some drama, or a brawl to break out, but neither happened at all, perplexing everyone once again after her recent musical performances and monologues. Tiff watches on, mouthing a few words towards the Polish Passerine, but she turns her back on her as she exits the ring, never once looking at the championship belt she held. The audience are not happy, but Starling now left Tiffany, her own focus watching the movements of the fans as she exited to the back, leaving everyone with more questions than answers.
Backstage we find the beautiful pink tipped blonde haired Aubrianna Powers. A scowl is on her face and she is already dressed for action. The GCW World Championship title belt is wrapped around her sexy gorgeous waist.
Aubrianna Powers:
I hope Dick appreciates what I’m doing in the name of The Most Valuable Friendship. Not only did I have to travel to communist China to compete for these people…
Booing can be heard in the background.
Aubrianna Powers:
...but also I am being bullied by YOUR roster members! Sophie O’Brian bullied me earlier today and someone like me, the NEW GCW World Champion, an ambassador of Friendship, should not have to put up with that!
The MVP pats the title belt around her waist.
Aubrianna Powers:
And you know, the Chinese people should really appreciate this, because they are really in for a huge treat. This past Sunday I became GCW World Champion for the second time, inside the elimination chamber for the second year in a row, and while I could be off celebrating with my good friend Aphrodite, my Sovereign allies Kat Kelly, Chanel, and Chantelle…
She waves furiously at the camera.
Aubrianna Powers:
...hi ladies! Kisses! Or I could be celebrating with my other Most Valuable Friendship pals like Reventon or Dom….
Aubrianna ponders this for a moment before shaking her head.
Aubrianna Powers:
...actually, no, I’d rather NOT be doing that. But I would rather be at home in bed with my future husband Dexter Russell. Instead I am here, competing for you the people of China, alongside my Most Valuable Friend Dick. So I hope all of you appreciate this. I hope all of you appreciate the fact that The Millennium MVP has arrived on this continent to show you what a REAL athlete is all about and tonight that’s what is going to happen to The Hoolingunnz or whatever the hell they call themselves. They are going to run smack into The Most Valuable Kick that will put their lights out for good. And there is nothing that they can do about it except Learn To Love It, Bitches!
She makes a kissy face at the camera before turning and walking off.

Tag Team Match
HolligunnZ VS Most Valuable Friends
Millennium XLVI kicked off in Beijing with a bang. In one corner, the former MWE Tag Team Champions, Spectre and Trey Cole collectively known as The HolligunnZ. On the other, representing Underground, the team of the former TapOut Champion Aubrianna Powers and the number one contender to the NVR World Championship Dickie Harter, who’s chosen to start things off for his team against the Father Of Finesse himself. Cole’s brought his high octane offense into this match, hitting the ropes and jumping at Dickie with his legs apart, flipping him over with a headscissors. Harter put his hands on the mat and cartwheeled back to his feet, charging at Trey with a clothesline. The member of the HooligunnZ bent backwards Matrix style to avoid it, quickly getting back to his feet and raising his boot to the charging opponent, who slid under the lifted leg to sneak behind Cole’s back hooking both arms and bending forward, pinning him down with a backslide. The former champion kicked out and went for a front kick. His foot was caught by Harter who then pushed his leg up, sending Trey flipping in mid air. The Hip Hop High Flyer landed on his feet showing his great agility and landed a hard kick on Dickie’s leg. A second kick landed on his left arm raised in protection of his ribs, while the third was ducked by Harter who took Trey down sweeping his leg. Quickly back on his feet, Dickie performed a standing moonsault to obtain another two count. Dickie was impressive tonight, showing an impressive speed and fluidity, holding his own against Trey Cole and even outdoing in, taking control of the match with a lightning quick striking combination, that left the former champ stunned. Taking a run at the topes, Dickie jumped on his back and drove his face to the canvas with a Kotaro Krusher tagging Aubrey in. The new GCW World Champion did what she does better, and that’s hitting the opponent hard, forcing him in the corner where he was defenseless to her swift kicks to the chest. An irish whip sent Trey to the opposite side of the ring, followed closely by Aubrey. Trey avoided the impact by leaving through the ropes and, from the apron, he hit Powers with a gamengiri to the back of the head. The former Underground Tapout was stunned stumbling back from the corner. Trey quickly reached the top rope and dove toward her taking her down with a blockbuster. Both competitors were laying on their backs, Cole was too proved from the fight to even roll on top of Aubrey. Slowly, they started crawling to the respective partners, making the tags pretty much at the same time. Dickie caught Spectre with the Hartercanrana (Reversed Hurricanrana), almost obtaining the win for the Most Valuable Friends. Things took a bad turn for him when he missed the Meteora, landing hard on his knees. Before he could do anything, Spectre kicked him on the back of his head with a superkick. The Die Fly had the control of the match from that moment on, getting this close to the win with the Archer Approved (springboard cutter) and the Fly-By (LoMein Pain), really testing Dickie’s proverbial resiliency. To put him away for good, Spectre tagged Cole back in, lifting Dickie for a released belly to back suplex right into Trey’s double knee gutbuster. Aubrey was quick to rush into the ring and making the save, but she didn’t stop there. She superkicked Spectre after dodging his right hook and dropped Cole down with her sitout reverse ddt, thus buying her partner some valuable time. Going back to her place on the apron, she rallied the Chinese fans behind Dickie, who slowly was crawling to her. The crowd didn’t hold back, cheering on the young cruiserweight who almost got there when Spectre blocked his foot. Nothing a well placed enziguri couldn’t fix though, and once again Powers was back into the ring. Aubrey cleaned house, keeping both HolligunnZ at bay with her strikes and eventually sending Spectre out of the ring with a springboard dropkick. Now she could finally focus on the legal man, who hit her with a bicycle kick. The impact sent the former Tapout Champion against the ropes, but she came back from it with a reverse roundhouse kick, following with a springboard moonsault picking up a prestigious win for her team. WINNER: Most Valuable Friends BY: Pinfall (The Powers That Be), 13:53 |

Hammerstein VS Anastasia StarlingThe Chicago Way Champion had already made his presence felt today, both with words and actions interfering in the fatal four way. None of this earned him any sympathy amongst the Chinese fans. While part of them were firmly behind her, some of them were still haunting the Pale Winged Passerine with that “Monster” chant. Quick and graceful as always in her movements, Ana was exploiting her agility to stay away from Hammerstein’s reach, well aware of the damage those stone like fists could do. With all her ducking and dodging she was really starting to frustrate Hammerstein, making his attempts even less precise. Ana took then control, building some momentum with a series of consecutive kicks leading to the Spinning Bird Kick (handstand capoeira spin kick). The champ was down. Seeing his client in such difficulty, Reese Kennedy called him out to regroup and rethink their game plan that, clearly wasn’t working on Starling. They didn’t have much time to discuss, as the firl in the raven mask soared of the top rope and flipped in mid air, landing on her feet on the outside with a slight curtsy, after taking down the manager. Hammerstein, instead, was able to avoid the impact, possibly “saved” by Kennedy who pushed him aside. And as soon as Ana turned back, he knocked her out of her boots with a wicked clothesline, right under the eyes of the commentary team. Bringing the fight back in the ring, the Chicago Way champion was finally showing his raw power, tossing the Songbird around with a series of suplexes. Or Hammerplexes, as he refers to them. Stalling, Belly-To-Belly, Belly-To-Back and an exploder to finish the sequence, sending Starling crashing against the turnbuckle. Dazed, the Monster For The Millennium rested against the corner, where she got squashed by the charging champion with a splash. He then sat her up on the top rope, obviously looking for a super Hammerplex. Ana fought back, kicking him on the chest as soon as he started to climb, knocking him off the bottom rope. Hammy tried to climb again, this time Anastasia’s foot caught him right on the face and stunned the Chicago Way champion. Standing now in equilibrium on the top rope, Ana waited for the opportunity to jump at him with her Angra Mainyu (diving blockbuster). The final part of the match was a rollercoaster of emotions for the Chinese fans. Hammerstein connected his sitout full nelson powerbomb, immediately trying for his submission move, the Python Sleeper (rear naked choke). Growing up in a circus, Anastasia could count on an innate set of evasion skills that allowed her to slither out of Hammy’s grasp and kick him hard on the face, quickly making the cover. After the champ kicked out, Ana landed a few more kicks, before preparing herself for the Our Lady Peace, her patented spinning bicycle kick adopted from her mother, Lady Magdalena. Hammerstein dragged the referee in the trajectory, using him as a shield. It was too late for Ana to stop her momentum, and although she tried everything in her power, the kick knocked the official down. For one moment she took her eyes off her opponent to check on the ref and that was enough for Hammy to grab the chair Reese slid in for him and smack it on Starling’s head. He picked Ana up and wrapped his strong hand around her slender neck, lifting her from the ground. “You call yourself a monster?” Hammerstein said with a loud laugh. “Show me. Show me that side, show me the mon…” He was stopped mid sentence as an angry Ana kicked him right there to break free from the choke. With a trail of blood trickling down her forehead, Ana looked to be in that “zone” where her darkest emotions take over. She dropped the American Monster head first on the chair with a ddt and immediately grabbing that same chair, lifting it in the air ready to drop it on the opponent. An hesitation, her left hand moving on her neck and clutching something the camera couldn’t quite catch. She calmed down, her breath going back to a regular rate, a single crimson tear dripping down her raven mask. She tossed the chair outside eventually, going for the Sturnidae (running shooting star press) and making the cover right when the referee started coming back from his forced nap. A slow count due to the official conditions, but a huge win for The Raven WINNER: Anastasia Starling BY: Pinfall (Strunidae), 14:37 |

The scene cuts backstage as CCJ and Redd Thunder stand in front of an American Flag. Constantine has a Free Hong Kong Shirt on as he stares into the camera while Redd flexes in the background.
Before CCJ can speak, static hits the screen for a few seconds until the static goes away to find things a little bit different than they were before. Instead of an American flag in the background, a Chinese Flag is digitally replaced. Instead of the Free Hong Kong Shirt, the face of Xi Jinping’s covers the front of the shirt. And as Constantine speaks, it's not his voice but that of a female Chinese voice speaking mandarin to the Chinese crowd. Luckily enough for the American Audience, there are English subtitles below the screen.
Chris Constantine Jr:
Great and powerful people of China! Since coming to China I have been impressed by it’s beautiful countryside and it’s hard workers that make this great country a world leader. I would only wish that America would work as hard as the great Chinese people do, but us Americans are fat and lazy and no longer are a superpower. Just look at Redd Thunder! Fat and lazy. Look at me! Stupid idiot who can barely count to 10. So we will entertain you tonight for your pleasure! And after we are done wrestling we will go to the nearest Re-education center where we will be treated fairly and humanely to make us smart. Thank you China for being such a great country! Long live the people of China! Death to America! Long live China. I love Xi Jinping!

REDD Thunder w/ Chris Constantine Junior VS Melissa ReevesHard to tell if they were ironic or what, but the fans actually applauded Chris Constantine, grateful for the nice words he said in his promo. Unaware of what happened, Chris was wondering what the hell was going on, confused by the unexpected and out of context reaction. As he finally left the ring, still dubious about those cheers, the match between Redd Thunder and Melissa Reeves finally got under way. The MWE Champion wasn’t scared about the huge challenge her opponent presented, launching herself on the attack with her striking combinations. The strikes seemed to barely affect the big men, those tree trunk sized legs never flinching even under Mel’s hard kicks. Redd shoved the champ away, sending her rolling on the mat. Reeves was right back on her feet and charging at Thunder with a jumping kick. This time the move sent the former king of Big Fat Lucha style a couple of feet back, but wasn’t enough to knock him down. Once again the champion charged in, running right into The Killamajig, the spinning spinebuster that earned Redd the first near fall. Mel knew this wasn’t going to be an easy match, but she was really struggling to build any sort of momentum against the dominant 380 pounder who managed to get really close to the win with a spinning backfist. The turning point for Reeves came when Redd whipped her against the ropes and she managed to connect a tilt-a-whirl ddt. With the Thunder now down, she wasted no time and attacked his legs with a series of stomps. Showing a different, more ruthless side, she put Redd’s foot on the middle rope and jumped on his knee. It’s a common strategy to attack a big man’s legs, as they usually are their weak spot. This might not be applied to Redd, but Mel’s work definitely slowed the deceptively agile man. All those kicks, even now that he was back on his feet, the submissions she applied on the mat, and the chop block to take him down once again were all tiles Mel was putting down on her way to the Iron Lock. Again she applied a figure four leglock right in the middle of the ring, causing the Thunder to let out a groan of pain. Slowly, he crawled towards the ropes, eventually reaching and grabbing the bottom one. Using the five count to its fullest, Mel finally let him go. Seeing his partner in troubles Chris, who had been relatively quiet up to that moment almost as if he was studying the MWE Champion, started creating some distraction, whether it was insulting Mel or trying to get in the ring. All this to but his partner some valuable time. He even grabbed Mel’s foot when she was ready to charge at Redd, obviously behind the referee’s back, obviously acting innocent the moment the referee questioned him about it. Finally Reeves could charge at the big man who, thanks to CCJ’s distraction, was more than ready. He launched her up in the air and smashed her down with a pop up powerbomb, The tides had definitely turned, and Thunder wasn’t going to miss this chance, immediately following up with a running senton. A few more strikes to wear her down and then, bad leg and all, kicked her hard in the stomach. Everybody knew what was coming next, the Jackhammer known as Brute Force Algorithm. And that’s all she wrote for the MWE Champion. WINNER: REDD Thunder BY: Pinfall (Brute Force Algorhitm), 18:17 |
