Way Of The Dragon Tour
Millennium XLV
Live from Guangzhou International Sports Arena in Guangzhou
Wednesday, November 20th, 2019
It's definitely a different look from the usal Millennium Shows. Sure, the Arena is once again sold out, the fans are vocal as ever, the pyrotechnics are possibly creating an even more spectacular display than the usual (we're in China after all, they know a thing of two about fireworks and pyrotechnics) and the theme song "When Legends Rise" by Godsmack is blasting out of the loudspeakers... But what stands out is the ridiculous deployement of security around the ring, dozens of men in uniform, both locals and Americans to testify the cooperation between the company and the Chinese authorities to make sure the events happened during the last Riot show won't repeat themselves tonight. Perhaps is this climate of tension, but the smile on Peyton and Jessi's face seems forced.
Peyton Holland:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the first stop of the Way Of The Dragon Tour.
Jessi Idol:
One week later than expected, but we're finally ready to kick off a new cycle of Millennium action!
Peyton Holland:
And to kick things off with a bang, we have a title match for you and for these amazing Chinese fans!
Jessi Idol:
That's right, Duke's big mouth got him in troubles this time, the originally scheduled tag team match has been split into two singles match, and the Lockdown Championship will be on the line in a rematch from Homecoming!
Peyton Holland:
His scheduled tag partner Hammerstein, instead will be facing the freshly signed Raymond Reznik in a one one match.
Jessi Idol:
And speaking of debuts, Carmine Reaper made his presence known at the end of the last PPV, when he sent a clear message to Gavin Grimes.
Peyton Holland:
He'll get his hands on the Captain himself eventually, but before that he's gonna have his hands full with Sophie O'Brian. She may be new to MWE, but this is not her first rodeo.
Jessi Idol:
Certainly a great addition to the roster. There's a fourth debut tonight, Qiyara Singh stepping for the first time in a Millennium ring and straight in the main event, where she'll team with Rhett Adelson in a tournament match against Nightfall Rising.
Peyton Holland:
It's going to be another great night of wrestling for the Green Brand. And it starts now, with Jacob Cross taking on E.M.P. in the opening contest of the evening.

Singles Match
Jacob Cross VS E.M.P.Still chasing that first victory, Erin came off the blocks strong, surprising the Cowboy with a series of swift kicks. Jacob took the blows recoiling a bit toward the ropes, answering with a right hook that rocked the young rookie a little bit. He closed the distance, placing her in a side headlock and punching her face a couple of times, until Paige pushed him against the ropes, dropping on the mat and forcing him to jump over her and continue to the opposite side, coming back into an arm drag. Erin quickly went for a legdrop, finding nothing but the waiting canvas as Cross moved out of the way. He landed a couple of kicks to her chest as she was sitting on the mat, going for a roundhouse kick ducked by Erin who quickly rolled him up with a schoolboy pin, holding his shoulders down for a count of two. As the two competitors were now back to their feet, El Vaquero went right for a middle kick that doubled Erin over. He then dragged her to the corner and pushed her against the turnbuckle, lifting her over his shoulders in a fireman carry position. Paige grabbed the top rope with both hands, blocking the cross legged neckbreaker attempt. He pushed her over the top rope, swinging his hand for a right hook as she landed on the apron. Erin was quick enough to duck it and slide back in the ring between Jacob’s legs, rolling him up for another quick pinning predicament. Erin’s training seemed to start paying off, with the young Californian holding her own against the opponent, despite the clear size and strength disadvantage. She even got real close to the upset win with a second rope legdrop after catching Jacob with a running swinging neckbreaker, but Cross kicked out in two. The near fall seemed to give her more confidence, and she exploited the favorable moment with a flurry of kicks, the last one turning the lights off for Jacob. But as often happens, rookie are keen to make mistakes, even when against other rookies. Her cannonball attempt was met with raised knees by Jakey who quickly tried to score the victory with a roll up, only obtaining a two. Once again he went for the fireman’s carry cross legged neckbreaker, following with a rolling thunder dropkick, but it wasn’t enough to keep down Erin who, to her credit, confirmed that she could really take a lot of punishment, something she already showed in the past. But Jacob wasn’t slowing down, keeping those hard strikes coming down on her, direct shots to the abdomen and ribs alternated at stiff forearm strikes to the face. Until he planted her with the Cowboy Up, the unproven cutter that gave him the win. WINNER: Jacob Cross BY: Pinfall (Unproven Cutter), 5:52 |
Jessi Idol: "Nice win for the Cowboy!"
Peyton Holland: "And another tough loss for Erin."
Jessi Idol: "Her moral must be quite low, but she showed some good things here tonight."
Peyton Holland: "She's still new, still in training. She can only improve, all she has to do is to keep working hard and learning from her mistakes."
Footage begins to play of a man in a black hoodie, the hood pulled up over his head, walking through the Nevada desert. As he does, a voiceover begins to play over the top of some ominous music.
"I walk for miles, sometimes, searching for something, anything, beyond what's inside my own head."
As he walks further, we see that he's wearing a pair of black Muay Thai-style shorts with red trim. He crouches to pick up a flat rock from the ground, inspecting it before continuing with it in his hand.
"Hoping to find something to figure out about myself, and the things that I do. And the result, day to day, is the same every time I find the broken pieces."
The figure's walking pauses when he stoops to pick up a piece of rock similar to the one he has in his left hand, both of them flat and smooth in appearance.
"I try to put them together but no matter how hard I try..."
The footage cuts to him holding a black martial arts belt in one hand, wrapped around a tree, placing one rock against the trunk, then trying to place the second with it.
"...they, they just don't fit. Nothing fits. The result is always the same in that there is nothing new to figure out about myself. I already know all I need to know."
The footage shows both rocks secure firmly in place to the tree, the sole image until the figure returns into view, this time without his hoodie and with bare feet, just in the near background. He moves forward just enough and lashes out with his right leg, bare shin connecting and smashing the rocks just enough to cause both their remnants and the belt to fall down to the floor. Once he's taken a step back from the destruction caused, the footage goes to black while the voiceover continues.
"How to hurt people. Better than anybody else."
The music becomes more tribalistic as the words "Raymond Reznik" appear on screen, followed by "Later Tonight" before fading to nothingness.
The feed cut to backstage, finding the stylish interviewer for Millennium, Bowie, holding a microphone as they readied themselves for an interview. They seemed quite pleased, and maybe a little nervous and excited at what they were about to do.
Bowie Kennedy:
Sorry to take you away from the action at ringside, but we have quite the scoop here tonight. For the very first time, we have one of the biggest signings to MWE in recent memory, a woman who has been a major name in the wrestling industry especially in the UK, Europe, Canada, Japan and the West Coast, who surprised everyone by stepping out from her home in the Underground to find a new home here on Millennium. And it’s not only her actions that have people talking, it’s been her powerful speeches and even her songs that have gripped fans in the arenas, and everyone at home. Please welcome “The Pale Winged Passerine”, Anastasia Starling!
Stepping into view was the ‘Monster For The Millennium’ herself, attired in a black mini skirt, matching boots and a leather jacket that seemed to be adorned with feathers. She wore a thinner version of her Raven’s mask, more of her angelically beautiful face on display, as she turned to look at Bowie, seeming more solemn than she had in recent times.
Bowie Kennedy:
Ana, you have been with MWE for a number of months now, putting on some highly impressive, and incredibly intense displays. Those who have followed you over the years, through your numerous World Title reigns elsewhere, and the famous Queen of the Mountain and Cult Classic tournaments, and they have never seen you so fired up in the ring before. Could you please speak to the fans about this drastic and aggressive change to your in-ring style?
Starling turned her head slightly to the side, before her eyes cast out around her, looking like she was keeping watch for something, or someone, as she clearly ignored the question given by Bowie. The interviewer continued on though, keeping as professional as they could be.
Bowie Kennedy:
Erm… Okay. This is a bit of a change for you, as you have never shied away from speaking your mind lately, either with your daily tweets that have been garnering attention on social media, or your long speeches during our shows, which many fans have described as both terrifying and inspiring. Can you describe what their reaction to your words means to you?
Ana turned away again, her eyes casting around her as she took in a sigh, her fingers playing with the golden chain around her neck, the full thing not quite in view due to her jacket.
Bowie Kennedy:
Okay, a change of subject… What about that musical performance? The sultry rendition of ‘Partir Avec Moi’, when you channelled the French part of your family with a stunning performance. That was the talk of the town for quite some time, and many still talk about it now. I hear that was the first time that the ‘Songbird’ had ever sung in public. What did that mean to you?
As she ran her fingers through her brunette curls, dyed back to more of her natural colour after her last outings golden blonde, she winced slightly. Her hand reached up to rub her left shoulder and a tear came down her eye, as she turned away from Bowie, her gaze being taken by something else.
Bowie Kennedy:
Ana… Are you okay?
Starling turned to Bowie, lolling her head to the side as she just stared at her, not saying a word as she clutched onto her own shoulder.
Bowie Kennedy:
Right… Last time we saw you, you faced off against Christopher Kane, the only ever Two Time MWE World Champion in what was to be his final match in the company. Because it was his farewell, many expected him to come away with the victory, but you seemed to… flip a switch at the tail end of the match, becoming more aggressive than you have ever been here, putting Kane down with a shockingly violent display before picking up the win…
Anastasia sighed again, looking away as her fingers danced upon the gold around her neck, before Bowie had no choice but to change the subject without getting an answer once again, though they almost jumped when a shrill call was heard, and Ana’s pet raven, Alexa, flew into view, landing on Starling’s right shoulder.
Bowie Kennedy:
Are you going to say anything? Ana, you’ve been talking a lot lately, but one thing you haven’t spoken about is the confrontation you had with your Uncle, Andreas Lasiewicz, backstage at Homecoming… and not to forget how Night One ended, with you attacking Tiffany at the tail end of her match with a steel chair, something no one has seen you do before. Why did you attack Tiffany? Was this something to do with her bond with your Uncle? You did tweet out ‘Get out of my family’ to her in the aftermath.
Starling once again said nothing, looking up to the ceiling as she kicked one of her legs to and fro playfully. Bowie was becoming frustrated now, what with her marquee exclusive interview leading to nothing but eerie silence from the Polish Passerine, and another call from the bird on her shoulder.
Bowie Kennedy:
Anastasia… What is it that you want?
They barked out, holding the microphone to the former SSWA World Champion, but Ana only looked at her with a blank expression upon her face, and a second tear rolling down. As she clutched the chain once more, she finally, finally said something.
Anastasia Starling:
… It doesn’t matter what I want.
She whispered, before she turned away with her raven, off camera and away, leaving a very confused Bowie with nothing but more questions.
Triple Threat Match
Kenzie Garrett VS Null VS Nikki KnightTwo weeks after Homecoming, Kenzie Garrett seemed to have recovered quite well after the brutal Chicago Way championship match she took part in, although not thrilled at all by the idea of competing in this triple threat match. The same could be said about Null, although in his case, the reason was to be found in his political views firmly against the Chinese government. Nikki at least looked ready to take on the competition, only to roll out of the ring as soon as the bell rang, leaving the other two opponents to start things off. Kenzie was yelling at her to get back in the ring and fight, using various expletives that we better not repeat. The wolf boy quickly rolled her on her shoulders with a school boy pin. After the kick out, Kenzie hit him with a straight punch to the jaw, sending him against the ropes with an irish whip. Knight from the outside grabbed his foot and tripped him over. Null went face first to the mat and got dragged out by Nikki who then hit him with a forearm to the jaw and climbed on the apron. Garrett was already charging at her at full speed and launching herself through the ropes with a suicide dive, spearing Nikki off the apron and onto the poor Null. Kenzie jumped back on her feet, receiving an ovation from the fans who appreciated her reckless move. Picking up the Canadian Knightmare, she rolled her back in the ring and followed with a springboard meteora. Sitting on Nikki’s chest, she grabbed her legs into a pinning predicament, but Null came back in and broke it up. The fast paced action kept the fans on the edge of their seat as near falls follow one another in rapid succession. Null almost got the job done with his The Kill (spinning back side kick ) to Kenzie who was on her knees after trying to recover from Nikki’s Chivalry Is Dead. The canadian was able to make the save at the last moment, sliding back in the ring after the Voice Of The Voiceless tossed her outside. The referee was checking on Kenzie’s condition since the Soulknife looked dazed and was struggling to get back to her feet after Null’s kick. Considering what she had been through during the short break after Homecoming, most of which she spent in a hospital bed, he wanted to make sure she was fit to compete. Nikki wasn’t let this chance slide, exploiting the distraction to hit Null with a low blow and plant him with the Knightmare (snapmare driver). She called the ref attention as she made the cover, only for Kenzie to break it up with a desperate dive. Knight picked Kenzie and and lifted her over her shoulders, ready to go for the Knightfall (Sit Out Last Ride Powerbomb). Out of nowhere, the Geek Gladiator countered it with her patented Spike-Rana, obtaining the win. WINNER: Kenzie Garrett BY: Pinfall (Grim Fandango), 7:11 |
Peyton Holland: "Kenzie is back, and she's back with a win."
Jessi Idol: "God, the memories of her match against Hammerstein are still fresh in my memory.. it's amazing how quickly she recovered."
Peyton Holland: "She's a tough cookie this one. And something tells me she's not done with Hammerstein yet."
Jessi Idol: "Not by a long shot"

Pinhead:
There is a story in my village, that dates back to far before the day of my birth. Once upon a time, there was a fairy…
An animation appears on screen. A tiny fairy flutters around a small garden patch of flowers that match all the colors of the rainbow.
Pinhead:
It was knowledge throughout the lands that this fairy loved to make friends.
Multiple other fairies appear, forming a circle as the first fairy rises above them, almost like their beacon of hope.
Pinhead:
The fairy became a vagabond of sorts and traveled the lands, helping those in need, and in turn bonded with other like-minded individuals…
The fairy floats up to a tree where a cat is stuck, and throws it a rope.
Pinhead:
Until one day, the fairy pestered the wrong person.
A huge smokey silhouette spreads itself across the screen, taking a lion's share of room, the fairy backed into the corner.
Pinhead:
You see, the fairy made contact with a member of the Willow Clan. The Willow’s were considered abominations… they were big, they were mean... they would wrestle black bears for sport, and feast on their cubs…
As the fairy disappears, more silhouettes appear, surrounding a slain black bear.
Pinhead:
The fairy so desperately tried to save one of these cubs… but all was in vain when the fairies wings were plucked and it was left to die a miserable death…
The fairy lies severely injured on the ground, as a Willow stands above it, wings in hand and copious amounts of animated blood dripping off of them.
Pinhead:
And thus the Willow Clan destroyed everything the fairy loved…
The Willow silhouettes stand tall above destruction, fire, and crying innocents. The animation fades out, and Pinhead’s face forms to engulf the screen.
Pinhead:
Though my heritage is clouded, it is a fact that the DNA of the Willow Clan runs strongly through my veins… and Akemi Hayashi, is the perfect representative for the fairy…
Pinhead tilts his head, eyes showing lack of emotion. It’s like staring at a baked potato. Soulless.
Pinhead:
Akemi Hayashi, it is no secret that you are fond of building connections. However... come Wednesday, the only connection you will be making is one with pain, and I will be the emitter. But do not fret, because the pain I present to you will embrace you with it’s warmth until you are feeling very, very numb. The legend will repeat, and the Willow will once more destroy the fairy.
Pinhead hisses, and the video fades.
Singles Match
Pinhead VS Akemi HayashiIf you expected this to be a one way match… Well you got close enough. The size and power difference was too big, and Akemi looked like a rag doll, tossed all over the ring by the monster known as Pinhead, who entered this ring more determined and fierce than ever. Every strike he hit Akemi with pushed the japanese several feet back, until she found herself against the corner. A massive open hand chop and then Pinhead charged at her with a splash, watching as she fell face first to the canvas. He immediately picked her up, looking to send a message to everyone on the roster and held her upside down for a ridiculous amount of time before driving her violently to the canvas with a stalling vertical suplex. Even now, he didn’t make the cover, choosing a deadlift german suplex as his next piece of offense. The match was starting to look more and more as a massacre, with poor Akemi once again being sent against the ropes, running back right in Pinhead’s arms. This time the Danger Princess managed to grab the opponent’s head and, using the momentum, planting him on his head with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Akemi had now her chance to shine, bombarding the big man with her hard kicks, aiming at his legs to chop him down to his knees and then insisting with more strikes to the chest. She even connected her Grapey Marshmallow Fizz, but the split legged Yakuza kick only gave her a two count. Hayashi was finding it hard to believe, her best move wasn’t enough to keep the giant down. Actually, he was already making it back to his feet, clenching his huge fists in rage. Akemi tried again with some more kicks, Pinhead, stopped her offense by grabbing her by the throat and laying her flat on her back with a chokeslam. He moved behind Akemi who was slowly getting up, wrapping his powerful arms around her waist and deadlifting her with a german suplex. He maintained the hold, going for a second one. And a third. The Chinese fans watched this display of power in awe as Pinhead continued with this endless series of suplexes, stopping the count at seven and finally putting an end to the match. WINNER: Pinhead BY: Pinfall (The Village), 4:44 |
Peyton Holland: "Well, that was quick."
Jessi Idol: "Pinhead is a force of nature."
Peyton Holland: "And he proved it at Homecoming. He might have lost his match, but he was the one standing at the end of his cage match against REDD Thunder."

Backstage we find Bree and Teagan wearing matching leather jackets, but Bree chose to go for a less cat like t-shirt, instead wearing a piercing blue shirt with an Oreo cookie on it. Bree's Monster's Inc hat was on frontwards and she's got on her shorts for the contest with her boots tied up.
Bree Smith:
I still can't believe Luna's not showing up here tonight, Girly.
Teagan adjusts her white shirt which reads “Don’t Stress Meowth” before she flips upwards the collar of her leather jacket for some added coolness.
Teagan Gallagher:
Sometimes I feel she doesn’t like me very much.
Her eyes open wider slightly as she makes this statement, but the smile on her face makes it clear she’s not being serious, before she shrugs her shoulders in a casual manner.
Teagan Gallagher:
So what do you think? Do I keep my collar popped or no?
Bree Smith:
I think you can rock it, Teegs. When we're facing a team who go by South Texas Deathride, we need to have all the intimidation we can get.
As Bree casually flaunts her Oreo Monster face to the camera.
Bree Smith:
Plus we need to get the win after my twin won on Riot. The competition is real, Teegs.
Teagan Gallagher:
Don’t you worry Bree, a win is exactly what we’re going to get out there.
Teagan nods her head with full confidence as she brings up her fist for Bree to bump her own up against to show off their unified front before their match.
Teagan Gallagher:
This tournament was made for The BreeTee Committee to shine.
Bree Smith:
And we're going to win it. No more Mimi strutting down the hallway with her Double Trouble win confidence. Even though...this is a non-tournament match... we're going to make everyone in the tournament worried about coming up against us.
Bree gives Teagan a little nudge.
Bree Smith:
Especially when they see how feral you can get, Teegs!
Teagan Gallagher:
Tournament or no tournament, we’re in this to win it!
Teagan follows this statement by making some gestures with her hands like she’s clawing at the air much like a cat would do when they are fighting against an attacker.
Teagan Gallagher:
Let me see your GRRR face Bree!
Bree's eyes widen drastically and she stretches the corners of her mouth open to show off her pearly white grrr clenched teeth, adding a little bit of strain to the expression to really sell the intimidation.
Bree Smith:
How's this, Teegs?
Teagan claps her hands in approval with a big smile on her face.
Teagan Gallagher:
That was purrrfect!
Bree Smith:
Happy Teegs, Happy life.
Bree says half to Teagan, half to the camera.
Tag Team Match
Non Tournament
Non Tournament
South Texas Deathride VS BreeTee Committee
Exhibition match between the BreeTee Committe and South Texas Deathride, a tag team quickly making a name for themselves in UWL. Teegs started the match against Jackson Reno, the powerhouse of STD. Her speed allowed her to land a few strikes in the opening moments of the match, but things quickly changed when Reno caught her with an arm trap neckbreaker after a missed right hand. He wore her down with some right blows to the sides and ribs, tagging his partner in and asking for his cooperation in lifting her over their heads gorilla press style and slamming her down to the canvas with a Thunder Valley. James made the cover only getting a two before Teagan kicked out. Being Bret the quickest of the duo, the pace of the match inevitably picked up. He sent Teagan against the ropes and connected a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, hooking the leg for another pinning predicament. He didn’t notice the blind tag made by Bree, who sneaked behind him while he was laying on top of her partner and deadlifted him with a german suplex. Bree was on fire tonight, waking up the fans that had been quiet until that moment. A series of open hand chops to the chest of James before launching him against the ropes and tossing him in the air, letting him fall chest first on the canvas while she took care of Reno knocking him off the apron with a big boot. After getting close to the three with her electric chair drop into a pin, Bree found herself now in big troubles. A lucky shot, an enziguri that caught her right to the temple gave James the opportunity to tag Reno back in. The powerhouse sent the stunned blonde girl against the ropes and launched her up in the air while his partner drove her head first down to the mat for the Shaker Heights Spike. It was the turning point of the match, with South Texas Deathride suddenly on the driver’s seat. Jackson was easily manhandling Bree, who looked still dazed after the being on the receiving hand of the tag move. Teagan was trying to spur her tag team partner, but the reaction she was hoping for didn’t came. Actually, she had to rush in to make the save after the second rope blockbuster. Another tag was made, South Texas showing amazing chemistry obtaining another near fall with a wheelbarrow/codebreaker combination. Things weren’t looking good for the Committee, Bree was at the mercy of her opponents who didn’t leave her any room to breath. She tried to catch the running James with a clothesline but she missed, allowing the opponent to hit the ropes on the opposite side and jump at her with a crossbody. Thinking fast, which was surprising considering all the punishment she went through, Bree was able to use the opponent’s own momentum against him, countering the crossbody into a powerslam. Slowly she started to crawl toward her corner, her opponent doing the same in the slowest race. Both reached the respective partners who jumped into the ring, charging at each other. Teagan anticipated Jackson Reno with a low dropkick, introducing him to her educated feet right after with some quick kicks to the chest area, finishing it up with a shining wizard. Reno powered out in two, blocking a right hook from the Irish born and following with a series of filleting knife-edge chops, pushing her into a neutral corner where he started kicking her in the stomach. Teagan was coughing and holding her ribs, Jackson’s red footprint visible on the left side of her torso. Reno positioned her to the top rope and climbed up as well, driving her down with a superplex, making now the tag to his partner. Bret went on top, asking his partner to drag Teegs’ motionless body in position for his 450 splash. He jumped, finding Gallagher’s knees waiting for him and before he knew, he had his shoulders down to the mat. Reno turned back and went to break the pin, but he was intercepted by a huge spear from Smith. The referee’s hand touched the mat a third time, sealing an hard fought win for the girls’ team despite a strong performance from South Texas who walked out under a huge round of applause, earning the handshake and the respect from the BreeTee Committee that proved once again to be one of the tag teams in the company. WINNER: The BreeTee Committee BY: Pinfall (Roll Up), 14:44 |

The scene opens to Luna Smith enjoying the hot weather still. She's wearing a white two piece bikini and laying on a floral robe underneath the cabana in the backyard of her home. Looking at the pool glistening still under the Florida sun on the clear day. After being presented with a little cocktail with a tiny strawberry on a pink swivel stick. She sits up and addresses the camera.
Luna Smith:
Hello Millennium…
As Luna sips her cocktail through a thin straw before resting it on a fold out wooden table.
Luna Smith:
I've been resting up since my last match where I was on the verge of ending Tiffany's reign. I would have had she not had a plan B. A little insurance to keep her Championship and get to 300 days.
Luna's mouth visibly tightens and her head jostles as she shook it in disbelief at the cheek, in Luna's opinion, of the champion resorting to that length to keep the title.
Luna Smith:
As far as I'm concerned that reign is frozen at two-hundred and ninety-something days and until I receive my rematch, I'm on strike.
Luna clicks her fingers and a few of the Holly Helpers come in with picket signs and shirts in support of Luna.
Luna Smith:
Sorry Tobie. I'm not going to be there in wherever the tour is right now. But maybe Tiffany will have a friend for you to step in.
Luna Smith:
As for when the strike will end? When will Millennium get The Star of The Night back to grace it's television programs?
Luna sits up and crosses her legs. She raises her Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses up and crosses her right leg over her left.
Luna Smith:
That depends on Millennium and when they decide to right the wrong and compensate their brightest star. Balls in your court, MWE.
She turns on her backside to lay back down, her glasses drop as she does this. Luna Smith then puts her arms through her thin robe and relaxes while the Holly Helpers begin a little chant for Luna on her behalf.
Holly Helpers:
The Star of The Night will only fight when Millennium make things right…The Star of The Night will only fight when Millennium make things right…The Star of The Night will only fight when Millennium make things right…The Star of The Night will only fight when Millennium make things right…The Star of The Night will only fight when Millennium make things right…

Psychopath by Nomy starts playing throughout the arena, and Joey appears at the top of a section of stairs in in the audience facing the back of the ring as he makes his way through the crowd dodging their attempts to touch him until he gets to ringside barricade, and leaps over the barricade grabbing a microphone and sliding into the ring.
Joey Leclair :
At homecoming I was making E.M.P suffer just like I said I would, and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt she actually tried to make a comeback but she learned it was futile, as I decided at that point that I would not allow her to walk out of the arena on her own two legs. But then someone unexpected came out, and this someone is someone I have shared a federation with in the past... Helena Noir.
Joey pauses for a moment cracking his neck.

Helena was one of the driving forces that sparked the flame of the revival of Joey Leclair, because I realized that if I ever wanna reach the top of this business and compete with the likes of her? I would have to let go of all emotions, and sacrifice my humanity, and in exchange hit harder than anyone else, and out last everyone else, and so the Death Dealer was created. But fast forward to tonight at this very moment? I can say that I am disappointed in Helena Noir for multiple reasons.
Joey shakes his head with a look of disappointment on his face.
Joey Leclair:
I watched Helena's match on night one of Homecoming against Chris Constantine Junior, and it was a really good match. I'm not taking anything away from CCJ because he was really good in the ring, but Helena? She put up a hard fought battle, but her performance disappointed me. I mean, she calls herself the Queen of Pain yet I saw her do nothing to live up to that name! Is this really the same woman who once set an opponent on fire in the ring?
Joey pauses for a moment tapping his right foot on the mat
Joey Leclair:
I wondered why she hadn't showed her true colors, and then it dawned on me that maybe CCJ really was that good, and didn't give her a chance to show that side of her. I was ready to give her the benefit of the doubt until... I was in the middle of victimizing E.M.P, and what happened? Out of nowhere she came to ring side begging me to end the match, and so disappointingly I finished the job. I went to the back heartbroken that someone I once idolized has becoming nothing but a weak little bitch who I would be way to nice if I said she was a shell of her former self, because she is lower than that in my eyes!
The crowd boo's loudly as Joey shrugs his shoulders showing he doesn't care.
Joey Leclair:
When I first shared a locker room with Helena she was a member of a dominate stable who was taking the local fed scene by storm, and she was ranked as number one star in that stable followed by Henri Black, the same Henri Black who is currently on the Riot roster. Having faced Henri Black multiple times, and watching his matches on Riot? I can honestly say that Henri Black has surpassed Helena Noir by leaps, and bounds.
Joey spins the microphone between the fingers on his right hand.
Joey Leclair:
Honestly when I first signed up with Millennium I was like "Cool Helena Noir is here maybe one day I will get to face this woman who I put as legendary status on my list". But I wasn't going to rush it or call you out, because I wanted to make a name for myself, and leave a pile of bodies as I move up the food chain until the day came where I got to face you, but now I could care less about ever facing you....
Joey lets a small smirk come across his face.
Joey Leclair:
Unless you show me that you still are, and always will be The Queen of Pain. Helena I do not care if it's during this tour of China or if it's several tours from now, but I am going to make your life a living hell, and beat the living hell out of you until the true Queen of Pain awakes within you. And even then you better bring a level of violence that will never be allowed again, because you bring the chairs, and I will bring the tables, you bring the thumb tacks, and i'll bring the barbed wire, you bring the fire, and I will bring the fucking gasoline!.
Joey laughs from the excitement from the thoughts of violence.
Joey Leclair:
But until then? Tonight I face Victoria Salinas which will be my first real test, because she has a real passion for this business, and is resilient as hell so she knows how to take a beating! Not to mention that she has held multiple championships, and recently she has been on the rise turning heads, and gaining a lot of momentum.
Joey shakes his head seemingly impressed.
Joey Leclair:
Impressive right? She also has my weakness in the fact that she can fly around the ring thanks to her lucha background, but it matters not, because tonight everyone can see what I can do when faced with a real challenge, and Victoria I want you to come at me with everything you are, because tonight I send a message to Helena Noir of the expense of your broken body, and please don't blame me when I drain every bit of confidence you have managed to regain in recent months, because I could care less what happens to you, because after tonight everyone worldwide will learn that this Death Dealer is a psychopath who is wicked to the core, and as always my statement remains the same. Victoria Salinas! Survive if I......
Joey pauses for a moment.
Joey Leclair:
No! Helena Noir, survive if I let you!
Joey Leclair flips the microphone out of his hand dropping it onto the floor as he drops to his back sliding out of the ring, and heads to the back as Psychopath by Nomy plays throughout the arena.
Singles Match
Helena Noir VS CheesecakeThe controversial win at Homecoming was definitely a big confidence boost for the 20 years old Cheesecake. Not that she actually needed it, but finally she had a win to back up her loud mouth. Up against her in this first match of the chinese tour was Helena Noir coming off a losing effort against Chris Constantine Junior at the last pay-per-view. Even though her attention might be more focused on the tag team tournament, the tattooed woman is definitely determined on getting her singles career back on track as well, as the dominant start of the match proved. Ever since the very first lock up, Helena controlled the situation bringing the fight on the mat with a headlock takedown and keeping the opponent grounded exploiting her technical prowess. Every time Cheesecake seemed to find a way out of the hold, Helena would switch to a different one, toying with the younger opponent who was growing frustrated by this situation. She reached the ropes to break the submission, and Helena immediately let her go, taking a step back and inviting her to attack with a mocking smile. The Arizona born swung her right hook, ducked by the last Liberty Champion who quickly grabbed her with a snap german suplex. Shaking her head, Cheesecake left the ring and headed to Bog Barv, looking for some advice. Helena sat down in the middle of the ring, not at all interested in following Cheesecake outside and fall into the trap she was most certainly setting up with her bff. The referee started the count and eventually Cheesecake had to get back in, Once again the two competitors locked up, but this time the younger opponent stomped Noir’s feet and raked her eyes. The referee warned her, by Cheesecake couldn’t care less, kicking the blinded opponent in the stomach and hitting the ropes and connecting a running knee lift. Helena staggered back, stunned by the hard strike to the face. A hurricanrana by Cheesecake sent her flying across the ring, Noir grabbed the ropes to pull herself up, taking a moment to recover. Her opponent came charging in and she sent her up and over the top rope. Cheesecake landed on the apron and immediately tried to catch the opponent by surprise with a shoulder tackle through the ropes. Noir saw it coming and stepped aside, raising her knee to the face of the young competitor, dragging her back in so that her feet were still laying on the middle rope and dropped her down with a ddt, hooking the leg for a count of two. As the minutes went by and the intensity dimmed down, Cheesecake started finding more openings to use her speed to her advantage, taking her off her feet with a flying clothesline. As Helena got back to her feet, Cheese was back on the attack with a forearm to the jaw and a couple of kicks to the legs, completing the sequence with a spinning heel kick. The former CanAm Champion kicked out, slowly making it up to her feet, ready to defend herself from the next flurry of offense. Another brawl ensued in the middle of the ring, interrupted by a kick to the stomach from Helena who quickly applied a front facelock and lifted Cheesecake, nailing her on her head with a cradle ddt. The fans erupted in cheers as they recognized it as the Fondu Au Noir, the move that gave her so many victories in her career. The guillotine choke was locked in pretty tightly, and despite the ropes being not too far, Cheesecake had nowhere to go. “Psychopath” by Nomy started playing out of the loudspeakers, a rain of heavy boos falling on Joey Leclair as he stepped out of the curtain, walking down the ramp with a brisk pace, resting his elbows on the apron and addressing Helena who answered back something the cameras couldn’t quite catch. But it was enough to trigger Joey, who stood up on the apron and tried to enter the ring. The referee went to block him and as soon as he turned his back on the action, Big Barv climbed on the apron and hit Helena with a massive right punch when she stood up to confront him after he broke the submission to save his protegè. Cheesecake was having troubles breathing, but she still managed to roll Noir on her shoulders and pick up an unexpected win. WINNER: Cheesecake BY: Pinfall (Schoolboy Pin), 9:51 |

Peyton Holland: "Helena had the match won, but Joey's distraction and Big Barv's interference allowed Cheesecake to pick up the win."
Jessi Idol: "And now we have to hear her bragging for days... Ugh."

We head backstage at the Guangzhou International Sports Arena in Guangzhou, China. The cameras are in the locker room of none other than "The Rising Phoenix" Bobbi Jackson, who just twenty-four hours ago was informed her tag match tonight had been changed to a title match with Duke Andrews. Another shot at the championship she failed to capture at Homecoming.
After last night, Bobbi wasn't in a happy or playful mood. She sat there in a steel chair in her wrestling gear looking straight ahead at the wall in almost a trance. Her headphones on her head as she listened to the Rocky IV soundtrack as her chosen pre-match music session this evening. A choice she rarely brings out unless she's really upset about something.
Her girlfriend Alexa Cannon sits on the couch behind the Phoenix looking on at Bobbi with concern in her green eyes. She knows what happened to herself and Bobbi last night angered her Bobbi Doll greatly. To the point, she had to watch Bobbi take some over the counter sleeping pills so she could actually calm herself down and rest on the plane ride to China overnight. Without a good night's sleep today would have been an obstacle Bobbi couldn't even hope to have overcome. But being well-rested, angry, and focused was a combination that Duke Andrews wasn't prepared for. Unlucky for him.
Regardless, Alexa can't help but worry about how suddenly this was all sprung on Bobbi. She stands up and walks on over to the laser-focused woman, gently sliding her fingers through Bobbi's hair.
Alexa Cannon:
How are you doing, doll?
Bobbi, however, doesn't respond. She just continues to look straight ahead. The music has her deep in a trance and she's clearly off in her own little world right now. She blinks a few times but not from lack of focus but more because she simply has to.
Alexa furrows her brow. She's seen Bobbi losing herself in her focus before, but usually, her touch snaps her right out of it. She takes Bobbi's headphones off while leaning down to get closer to eye-level with her.
Alexa Cannon:
Are you okay? You're starting to worry me.
Bobbi's brown eyes lock with Alexa's green ones as she huffs ever so slightly. The low tones of "In The Burning Heart" by Survivor can be heard coming from the headphones Bobbi's girlfriend holds as she kinda shrugs.
Bobbi Jackson:
How can I be okay after what happened to you last night? How are YOU okay?!
The blonde says with an almost shocked tone in her voice, Bobbi can't get the images of last night out of her head and meanwhile she has to focus on this incredibly important match later on tonight with Duke Andrews. The Phoenix clearly had a lot on her mind. Luckily for her, however, whether she knew it or not. Alexa would be the one to calm her soul and refocus her before this title match later on in the evening. Alexa's hand caressingly slides over Bobbi's cheek and pushes a loose lock of golden hair behind her ear, a hint of a smile playing across her lips as she looks down into her dear doll's eyes.
Alexa Cannon:
Heh, "okay" might be a bit of a strong word, but I'm managing. For you. Because you need me to be here and I always want to be there for you.
Bobbi sighs deeply as her shoulders slouch a bit.
Bobbi Jackson:
I wasn't there for you last night when you needed me. I was forced to watch as you got beat down and attacked by someone I was stupid enough to trust. I know we've been training you to eventually get into the ring but last night wasn't something either of us were ready for...
Bobbi just looks down at the ground. A lot of conflicts reside in the blonde right now as she tries to work it all out inside her head. Alexa stands up straight as she rubs the back of her neck, tilting her head from side to side.
Alexa Cannon:
I'll say. It's definitely something I won't forget any time soon, but luckily I'm tougher than I look.
She winks at Bobbi, trying to be playful.
Alexa Cannon:
I'm not so easily scared either. We will make them pay for what they did, but in the meantime I can't have you falling apart on me.
Alexa slides her fingers through Bobbi's hair again while looking deep into her eyes, her smile widening a bit as she could happily get lost in them any time.
Alexa Cannon:
They spent the element of surprise and we're still standing.
Alexa reaches down and grasps Bobbi's hands in hers as she lifts the Phoenix to her feet. The two stand there holding hands as Bobbi forces a smile.
Bobbi Jackson:
Yea, we're still standing. But it seems the element of surprise is the theme of the week. Yesterday I wasn't getting a shot at the Lockdown Championship, this was supposed to be a tag match. But here we are, a shot at redemption instead...
Alexa nods her head in agreement, then leans in to plant a tender kiss on Bobbi's lips.
Alexa Cannon:
I know you can do this, though. You can take on this challenge and little time to prepare or not you CAN beat Duke and bring that belt home.
Bobbi takes in a deep breath and exhales slowly before nodding at Alexa's statement.
Bobbi Jackson:
You're right. Last time, I made one stupid mistake...and I didn't tap out. I passed out. This time? No mistakes. We're leaving China tonight with the Lockdown Championship!
The Phoenix says with a newfound look of determination burning in her brown eyes. Alexa smiles as she takes her hands out of Bobbi's only to wrap them around her in a tight warm embrace.
Alexa Cannon:
Mmmmm! Now THAT is the Bobbi Doll I KNOW can win.
Bobbi lets out a soft coo and returns the hug back just as tightly. She rests her chin on Alexa's shoulder as she stares off into the distance again. Not like earlier, however, the blondes demeanor has been changed for the better.
Bobbi Jackson:
Thank you for always being here for me. Let's go show the entire world what happens when you anger the Phoenix!
Bobbi releases the hug as she takes Alexa's hand back in hers as the two head out of the locker room and Millennium heads back to ringside for the next match.
A room in the building comes into view, somewhere backstage, although it can't be determined where. MWE's newest signing, Raymond Reznik, walks into shot wearing a long leather coat and rounded sunglasses, a gentle demeanor on his face as he turns to the camera filming him.
Raymond Reznik:
Tonight, I make my debut for Millenium Wrestling Enterprise and right away, I'm up against one of the toughest men in the locker room. A gentleman by the name of HAMMERSTEIN. Rough as they come and ready to commit acts of violence on his fellow humans if he feels like it. Should I be scared? No. I relish the chance to see just how much he lives up to his reputation.
Reznik almost seems to rub his hands in glee at the prospect.
Raymond Reznik:
There's a quote hanging on the wall of a dojo I frequent that says tough times never last, but tough people do. You're the proof of that HAMMERSTEIN. You settled into retirement but bounced right back like no time had passed at all. It certainly hasn't for that suspension you earned. What was it, only a week off rather than a month?
He smirks to himself as he scratches at his face momentarily, eyes flickering back towards the camera.
Raymond Reznik:
I guess I'm the lucky guy to be your first alleged victim after your seven day vacation. Alleged because, while you may have the gumption to see yourself as the victor in our battle, I'm going to bring a little shock to your system. Tonight, HAMMERSTEIN, I won't be such a pushover. You won't break my skull like you tried to do to somebody else. You'll find that you and I are a lot alike.
Reznik removes his sunglasses slowly, placing them inside his jacket pocket, letting people see his piercing eyes.
Raymond Reznik:
Hard to kill. Those three words embody what it means to be like we are. There is only one difference between us. You like to imagine that you are the biggest star in Millenium Wrestling Enterprise, that being Hardcore champion makes you the pinnacle, and that everybody else looks up to you in awe.
I, on the other hand? I don't need championships to prove to myself what I can do in the ring. I'm only after one thing; change. And starting tonight, I will bring that change to MWE, even if I have to shove my fist into the throat of this company and drag that change out of its guts.
His eyes widen intensely as he mimics doing just that, teeth clenched and bared as though he were a vicious dog before his expression softens again.
Raymond Reznik:
I hear you love animals as much as you love your own family. Well, I hope that to be true because if you try to step to me in a way that I don't like out in that ring, you'll find yourself wondering if I am the one animal for which you don't have pleasant feelings. Show me what you've got, HAMMERSTEIN. Lets see whether you gain another suspension from competition, or if I get my hand suspended in victory.
Raymond smirks and walks out of shot.

Lockdown Championship Match
Duke's Rule: Submission
Duke's Rule: Submission
Duke Andrews (c) VS Bobbi Jackson
He who makes his bed must lie in it. Duke Andrews continuous protest and threats to refuse to take part in this China tour lead the Millennium General Manager Chloe Collins to cancel the originally scheduled tag match and book a title defense for the Lockdown Champion. Bobbi Jackson was more than pleased to get another shot at the title after the losing effort at the last PPV. She started strong, crouching to duck Duke’s right hand and sweeping his leg, taking him down to the mat. And there she started working on the lower back and leg, paving her way to the Trials Of Fire. With Duke laying on his stomach, she dropped the knee multiple times on his spine before placing herself on his side and placing both knees on his back, grabbing his leg and chin and rolling backwards, stretching his back in a bow and arrow lock. Failure wasn’t an option for the Rising Phoenix, who was showing a new aggression, not giving the champ any room to breath, lighting up his chest with a violent chop. As he was walking toward the opposite corner, she grabbed him by his head and pulling him down across her knee for a backbreaker. After a rough start Duke eventually found the opening he needed to stop Bobbi’s momentum and turn things to his favor with a massive lariat that almost beheaded the challenger. And from that moment on, it was an onslaught, with the Epitome Of Perfection just hitting Jackson with everything he had. Forearms, elbows, knees and even closed fists when he blocked her in the corner. The referee stopped his illegal action, but couldn’t keep him far from her for too long. He quickly grabbed her by her hair and dragged her back to centre of the ring, where he drove his knee to her face twice before placing her head between his thighs and lifted her in a powerbomb position, charging to the corner and dropping her with a buckle bomb. She slid back to a seated position and he wasted no time reaching her there and stomping her under the sole of his boot with the move he calls Red Wing Stomp. A few moments later, he had lifted her upside down for a stalling suplex, countered by the Phoenix with a knee to the crown of the head that stunned the Lockdown Champion. Bobbi moved behind him and jumped, taking him down on her knees with a backstabber. From there, she grabbed his leg looking to apply the Trials By Fire, his patented sharpshooter. Andrews escaped before she could actually lock the submission, crawling back in the corner. Bobbi shook her head and went to grab him by the ankle to pull him away from the ropes, but he caught her and drove her face first against the turnbuckle. And while Bobbi recovered from the impact, he rolled out of the ring and started walking away, signaling that he’s had enough. As soon as she recovered, Bobbi left the ring to chase him, but he was already on the entrance stage, determined to walk out of the match. And so he did, disappearing behind the curtain while the referee completed the ten count. WINNER: Bobbi Jackson (NO TITLE CHANGE) BY: Count Out, 8:58 |

The feed swit he's to the backstage area, where Chicago Way Champion, Hammerstein stands with his manager, Reese Kennedy. Hammerstein, wearing a Rage Against the Machine t-shirt, has the title draped over his shoulder. Kennedy smiles at the camera
Reese Kennedy:
We'd like to express our sincere admiration and appreciation for Gou Zhongwen, Director of The General Administration of Sport of China and The All-China Sports Federation, as well as The Paramount Leader, President Xi Jinping, for the opportunity to compete here.
We'd like to ...but we can't.
Kennedy looks at his client, and they nod to each other. Kennedy loosens his tie and clears his throat.
Reese Kennedy:
How can we appreciate the leadership of a country's government whose sole purpose is to stifle the people's freedom with over 200 million surveillance cameras, biometric tracing, and a totalitarian internet police force that blocks Wikipedia and ALL forms of social media. A leadership that, in the past two years, has jailed nearly a hundred journalists to trample the spread of dissidence and free thinking. A leadership that seeks to destroy the Tibetan Monks and their peaceful coexistence with the world, because they present a "clear and present danger" to the People's Republic.
The bureaucrats and politicians in this company may think stroking the cock of this devil is just fine since he's making this tour available to the people. But as soon as…..
Kennedy pauses, a look of disdain on his flushed face, as he realizes his mic has been cut. He looks to his left, around the body of his client, as several men dressed in suits are walking up. The cameraman catches them, then quickly turns back to Hammerstein and Kennedy. Kennedy smirks, then continues, talking louder so the camera mounted microphone can catch what he's saying.
Reese Kennedy:
Raymond Reznik, my apologies for, perhaps, neglecting to give you your due. You're a seasoned veteran and, as far as I know, your style is about the closest thing to The Chicago Way Champion's style this company has. So forgive the slight. You're just not a priority to me. But, rest assured, my client will make crushing you a top priority.
Kennedy's smirk has turned to a full on sneer.
Reese Kennedy:
And, if The Paramount Leader, the Party, or the Millennium hierarchy for that matter, takes issue with this, we have a response custom made for you. But don't take my word for it.
Tell 'em, Champ.
Hammerstein pushes his middle finger against the lense of the camera before the pair walk out of frame. A hand covers the lense and tense words are spoken in Chinese before the feed cuts to ringside.
Singles Match
Hammerstein VS Raymond Reznik
From a tag match to a one on one bout against the Chicago Way Champion. Baptism by fire for Raymond Reznik in his first MWE match, not that the expert fighter from Canton Ohio seemed to mind it. The match was a hard hitting contest from the get going, an all out brawl with punches flying in all direction and the referee’s cry to keep it between the rules refraining from using closed fists falling on deaf ears. Both of them were holding nothing back, and every time someone seemed to build some momentum and put together a couple of consecutive moves, the other found a way to turn the tables. Like when Hammerstein fired the opponent in the corner and charged in, eating an elbow to the face instead, with Reznik lifting himself on the middle rope and jumping off with a double axe handle to the back of the American Monster. Raymond was looking impressive in his first match here, giving the champ a run for his money and almost putting him away with a hangman’s neckbreaker. Hammerstein was in difficult, especially after the concussion giving soccer kick Reznik rocked him with. The cover was made but the champion saved himself by putting his foot on the rope. He remained on the attack, his flurry of offense occasionally interrupted by the champions’ reaction, never enough to turn the tides though. If anything, it was Raymond who got close to the three once again with the Kneehlism (Ripcord V-Trigger) but Hammerstein still raised his shoulder The reaction of the champion was vehement, stunning the opponent with a chin breaker while he was picking him up and kicking his head in the third row with a devastating running big boot. Instead of making the cover, he lifted the 265 pounder with a Hammerplex, following with a knee drop to the back of the head. Mounting on top of Reznik, Jacob rained down a barrage of lefts and rights to his face, incited by his manager Reese Kennedy who kept shouting to spur his client, even providing a quick distraction to the referee that allowed his client to gouge Reznik’s eyes. The official turned around and saw what was going on, immediately calling out the Chicago Way champion on his actions, immediately starting the five count. Eventually, Hammy had to let him go and Raymond made it back to his feet with the help of the ropes, until a cactus clothesline from the Chicago Way Champion sent both of them out of the ring. Hammerstein left the ring as well, following with a somersault senton from the apron and onto the opponent. The two kept fighting on the outside, brawling their way to the ramp where Raymond bit the opponent’s forehead and grabbed him by the throat, slamming him on the steel ramp with a chokehold STO. The referee’s count already reached five, but it was clear that none of them was interested in the match anymore, fighting their way up the ramp to the entrance stage. Kennedy was right behind his client, almost begging him to get back in the ring. But Hammerstein wasn’t hearing any of this. Blinded by rage, he headbutted the opponent to break free from his grasp, leaving him in a precarious equilibrium on the edge of the stage. “Eight!” yelled the referee. The Chicago Way champion looked at the ring, then at Reese, and finally at his opponent. A smirk appeared on his face, one Kennedy knows oh too well. The manager covered his eyes while Hammerstein charged at the opponent and throw him off the ramp with the POUNCE, falling down with him in the process. The bell rang to signal the end of the match as the camera showed the two competitors motionless on the floor surrounded by the debris of what was once a table and a jungle of cables and various equipments. It’s dark just outside of the Guangzhou International Sports Arena in Guangzhou. A gorgeous black haired woman stands staring with steely cold emotionless eyes into the camera that focuses in. This woman is dressed in a black leather knee length skirt, a black sleeveless top, and black patent leather high heel pumps.
Sophie O'Brian:
Sun Tzu says, "opportunities multiply as they are seized.”
This woman’s facial features turn from a stoic stone-faced gaze to a scowl.
Sophie O'Brian:
Do not mistake this as me as an attempt to garner a cheap ovation from the people inside that building. I speak of Sun Tzu not to garner a positive reaction but because he is the most brilliant strategist and tactician in human history. He literally wrote the book on warfare.
She turns and looks back at the arena and then back at the camera.
Sophie O'Brian:
There are many opportunities out there if you only know what you are looking for; I seized upon the opportunity granted to me by Millennium Wrestling Enterprise. Yet the question remains, why here and why now?
Sophie O'Brian:
Motivation is important in warfare. Sun Tzu would also agree that when one goes to war one should always have a good motivator. There must be a good just cause for going to war. Any kind of war will no doubt cost human lives as well as valuable resources of the nation, so before committing ones nation to war, a general must ask is this worthwhile? In order to answer that question I must first introduce myself. My name is Sophie O’Brian. Four times in my career I have been a world champion. I credit my success to one man, Glenn Braddock.
Sophie O'Brian:
Glenn Braddock was once a great wrestler himself on the European circuit. When his career ended all too soon he began to train others to follow in his footsteps and carry on his legacy. Many world champions would come from the Braddock Wrestling School. But Glenn was more than just a great teacher and a great wrestler. He was a great man. A brother and sister pair ended up on his front step and he easily could have ignored them and left them for dead as so many of you self-righteous bastards tend to do to those less fortunate than you.
Sophie shakes her head.
Sophie O'Brian:
Not Glenn…Glenn took me and my brother in and he saved us from the streets and gave us the knowledge of wrestling, knowledge that we could use to defend ourselves as well as to make a better life for ourselves. Everything I am today I owe to Glenn Braddock.
Sophie O'Brian:
Glenn is dead now, he passed away on October 25th from complications with his epilepsy. Now it is up to his former students to carry on his legacy. But what do I see when I look at the current landscape and where his current students are now?
Sophie’s eyes have an intensity in them now.
Sophie O'Brian:
All of them, every last one of them, including his daughter, are failing to live up to the standard.
Sophie motions to herself.
Sophie O'Brian:
That leaves me to carry on the legacy, to burn the memory of Braddock into your forehead forevermore. And in the process I will burn your fields, your towns, and your villages to the ground. I will burn everything you hold dear in my Scorched Earth Policy towards anyone and everyone who dares get in my way. And in my all out assault upon MWE I will also begin to rebuild my own legacy…
She shuts her eyes
Sophie O'Brian:
…I remember a time when I was dominant in this sport. For many reasons that do not matter now I allowed myself to become an afterthought while others, those who are not my peers but instead are my inferiors, received all of the glory and the gold for themselves. Now I take back what is mine. I take the spotlight that should have been mine.
O’Brian points a log slender finger into the camera.
Sophie O'Brian:
You will remember the Braddock name because I will make you remember. You will also remember me because you will have no other alternative. Those who forgot who I am, I will make sure you know just who in the hell I am. My name is Sophie O’Brian and wisdom will be the death of you.
Singles Match
Carmine Reaper VS Sophie O'BrianA double debut, two big names who just joined MWE after very accomplished careers. Carmine Reaper made his presence felt at Homecoming, when he showed up after the main event of night two to issue a challenge to his former rival, Gavin Grimes. His opponent tonight is not the Cult Classic Winner though, but a woman whose signing with MWE took everyone by surprise. Sophie O’Brian has made quite a name for herself in her eight years long career, collecting gold in every company she set foot in. And you can be sure that, after SCW and GCW just to name a few, she’s looking at MWE as her new land to conquer. The bell rang and the two competitors met in the centre of the ring, just staring at each other while the tension began to build. Carmine was the first one to strike, but his right hand was dodged by Sophie, who grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back with a hammerlock. The former NGW Hall Of Famer tried to break free, swinging his arm backwards hoping to catch Sophie’s face with an elbow strike. But the former SCW Television Champion was one step ahead, moving in front of him and planting him on the canvas with a hammerlock ddt. It took him a while, but finally Carmine was able to shake off the ring rust that characterized the first part of the match. slowly taking back control after minutes of dominance from O’Brian. He reversed the irish whip attempt, catching her as she rebounded back from the ropes with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. After stomping her to the canvas, he picked Sophie up and rocked her with a couple of european uppercuts, lifting her then and inflicting more damage to her back with a suplex lift backbreaker. He made a cover without even hooking the leg, making it all too easy for Sophie to kick out. The Belfast born tried to take back control, but her kick to the midsection was blocked by Carmine. He couldn’t block the enziguri kick she followed up with, finding himself laying on his back watching the ceiling. And from that position, he certainly had a perfect view of Sophie flying in the air and landing over him with a picture perfect springboard moonsault, only obtaining a two count out of it. Reaper’s reaction was immediate with a knee to the stomach that doubled her over. He dropped her on her knees with a forearm strike to the back, gaining some speed by hitting the ropes to violently connect with his shin to her skull. The back and forth action went a little over the ten minutes mark when “Throne” by Bring Me The Horizon blared out of the loudspeakers. Gavin Grimes was not set to appear tonight, but it was his theme song the one playing now in the arena… Everyone’s eyes turned to the stage, waiting to see the Captain appearing. In vain. Nobody showed up, but this diversion gave Sophie enough time to recover after a piledriver. Now she was back on her feet, tapping on Carmine’s shoulder to bring his attention back to the action, smacking him with a stiff spinning elbow that sent him back against the ropes. He was met by a kick to the stomach as he rebounded back, with Sophia now quick to grab the stunned opponent by his wrist and pulling him right into the swinging fisherman neckbreaker she calls Ode To Braddock. And with that, she picked up her first win in MWE. WINNER: Sophie O’Brian BY: Pinfall (Ode To Braddock), 11:07 |
Peyton Holland: "That's what you get for taking your eyes off the prize"
Jessi Idol: "That was Gavin's music..."
Peyton Holland: "It was. Mindgames, Jessi. Carmine is so obsessed with his vendetta against Gavin that he's allowing the Cult Classic Winner to live in his head, rent free."
Jessi Idol: "And that can be dangerous with Grimes... Sophie looked in great shape tho!"
Peyton Holland: "You heard her, she's not her for a pic nic."

Millennium fades to a zoomed in shot of Victoria Salinas.
Victoria Salinas:
When I first got to this company, I had no confidence in myself at all. It was a new start, but I was still burned by the past. And then… things never got any better…
The scene fades to archive footage of her match with Kelsey Spencer, a match that she lost.
Victoria Salinas(voice over):
And then… wait… CUT!
The scene quickly fades back to the zoomed in shot.
Victoria Salinas:
Nope…. NOPE! We’re NOT doing that again! I’ve already beaten the past to death time and time again to the point of redundancy and reliving past heartbreak is not going to help me. All talking about the past did was drive me further into the ground.
The scene zooms out, revealing that the pre-recorded footage is taking place in a quaint, quiet setting. Victoria is dressed to compete with her ring gear notably being white. She’s surrounded by a bunch of empty canvases while she picks up a black jar from a nearby table. Opening the jar, she reveals that there are a bunch of crumpled up papers inside.
Victoria Salinas:
What you see in there is every single bad memory over the last year and a half… every bit of it that I was painfully holding onto for my own detriment. All of the bad times… that departure from GCW, my entire Hybrid run… the match against Kelsey, the match against Duke, the match against Bethany… they’re all locked away in this jar. And you know what I’m going to do with all this?
Victoria takes a sudden pause to shatter the jar on the floor, scattering the crumpled pieces of paper. She goes one step further by picking up the paper, walking to a working fireplace and one by one, tossing each piece of paper into the fire.
Victoria Salinas:
I’m going to forget it. I’ve learned all that I needed to learn from the past and it does no use to me to keep holding onto it. I’m wiping the slate clean. I’m moving forward. I refuse to be constrained by the past anymore. It’s time for me to embrace the fact that I have a new home in this business now and this is it. When I first came here, it was a new start. But I made the mistake of not wiping the slate clean. I’m not going to go into my match with Joey Leclair holding onto my last match nor am I going to go into it harping about rock bottoms and harping about heartbreaking outcomes I had months ago. I’m done with that. Things ARE going to be better. I WILL build up my confidence and I’ll show everyone I step into the ring with exactly the type of wrestler that I am. NOW it’s a clean slate…
Victoria pauses, looking around at all the blank, white canvases… with the exception of one painting that’s in the distance. She takes this time to approach it and the viewer can see that it’s a painting of her wedding the moment her new marriage became official. There’s also some paints and brushes underneath the blank canvas next to the portrait.
Victoria Salinas:
And this is what did it for me… this is what restored my happiness, my strength, my pride… finding true love and true happiness, not just for someone else but also for myself… this is what’s going to put me on the winning path in this company. It’s going to be some work and some time, but I’ll be stronger for it. It begins tonight… against an opponent that… well… I can’t say I like the way he carries himself. He’s impressive, no question about it. He’s got a bright future in this company… but so do I… I think about how he carries himself… his ego… his tendency to give a shit about nobody else but himself, the arrogance he carries, how low he’ll stoop… and the old me used to be SO offended by that. I would condemn how he carries himself, I would normally mention something about respect and how he’s going to learn his lesson. I would normally take even the POSSIBILITY of losing to a guy like him personally and I’d be devastated if I HAD lost to him… especially if he had cheated. I’d be worried about the possibility… or hell… the probability of him trying to cheat and let that get to me…
But that was the OLD me… and that’s why I had struggled so much… because if I focus ALL of my attention on that… I’d be caring about the WRONG thing… and that’s not what I’m doing anymore. So… he can carry himself the way he wants to. He can try to cheat. I don’t give a fuck about that. What I’ll guarantee however is that he will have NO effect at ALL on my confidence like previous opponents and matches have had What I WILL guarantee is that I won’t let him take anything away from me and that I will not let the outcome of this match in one way or another define my career.
Tonight it’s about showing that I’ve learned from my mistakes…
Tonight it’s about starting over on a clean slate…
Tonight?
It’s about painting on a blank canvas… and telling the story I want to tell…
Victoria maintains her confidence and demeanor as she picks up a brush and a pink colored paint… and she begins to paint on the blank canvas next to her wedding portrait.
Victoria Salinas:
And believe me when I say… that the bigger picture will be SO much better for me…
Victoria continues her painting as the pre-recorded footage fades out.
Singles Match
Joey Leclair VS Victoria SalinasHelena Noir, freshened up and wearing her civilian clothes is now sitting between Peyton Holland and Bea Torres at the commentary tables, joining them to provide some insights on a man she knows quite well and who made quite an impact since joining MWE: Joey Leclair. Of course, the suspect was that there was more to the story. He just interfered in her match and Helena has yet to explain why she walked to the ring during his match at Homecoming. It wasn’t easy for the Death Dealer to keep his focus on his opponent in the ring, the presence of Helena at ringside clearly distracting him. And Victoria immediately took advantage of this situation, trapping Joey in a side headlock after a quick punching combination. Leclair immediately broke free and pushed her against the ropes, extending his arm to catch her with a clothesline. But Salinas ducked it and kept running to the opposite side of the ring, bouncing back with a crossbody to take Joey off his feet. Helena was quick to point out how the opponent’s speed could be the key for this match, since Joey had always been in difficulty against high flyers. Her theory found confirmation on what was transpiring from the match, with Joey struggling to find his footing in this match. Victoria kept the pace lightning quick, always on the move, not giving any reference point to the opponent and coming at him from various angles, not afraid to use the ropes as a springboard or to take some risks like when she dove on him with a top rope splash, picking up a two count. Joey rolled out of the ring after kicking out, taking a moment to refocus. He walks past the announcer’s table, glaring suspiciously at Helena who smiles and wave her hands, immediately going back to her commentary work, telling Peyton and Jessi that Joey can become extremely dangerous out here, and Salinas should wait for him in the ring. But Victoria didn’t follow the advice, leaving the ring as well and chasing her opponent. And well, for the second time, Helena was right. Joey surprised Victoria with a low dropkick, taking out her knee and sending her face first on the hard floor. Not satisfied, he pulled her hair and raised her face from the ground, only to push her back down. The referee lectured him, reminding that he can’t pull her hair, and that he should take the match back in the ring. Joey did precisely that, but not before slamming Victoria’s face on the steel steps for good measure. After rolling her body in the ring, Leclair made the cover for a count of two. The Death Dealer was now in control, launching Victoria against the corner with a buckle bomb, catching her square on the jaw with a superkick as she rebounded back after the impact. Once again he made the cover, staring and smirking at Helena during the pinning predicament. Salinas kicked out, breathing heavily as the first signs of fatigue were starting to appear on her face. Joey dragged her back to her feet and landed a vicious striking combination alternating rapid fire kicks and stiff punches, ending it with the Death Dealer Elbow Smash (spinning elbow smash). Wisely, Victoria rolled under the bottom rope, trying to get away from Joey and avoid the pinning predicament. Leclair was quick to catch her when she was still on the apron, dragging her back in. Raising the tone of her voice, to make sure Joey could hear her over the noise the Chinese fans were making, Helena told what she defined as a “funny story”, remembering that one time when Joey injured his right ankle, and pointing out how she wasn’t quite sure he had fully recovered from that injury. Hearing his Achille’s heel being exposed like that, with that knowing, malicious smile on her lips freezed Joey, who was now staring at Helena. The tattooed woman stood up from her seat and took off her headset and for a moment it looked like she was intentioned to attack Leclair. Instead, she greeted Peyton and Jessi with a handshake and left the commentators table, stopping a few steps on the ramp and turning to Joey. A wink and a nod were enough to bring Joey’s attention back to the ring, were Victoria was back on her feet. A kick to the leg, a quick series of lefts and rights and a standing roundhouse kick dropped Joey down. The Death Dealer pulled himself up, finding a kick to the stomach with his name written on it. Victoria then grabbed his arm and planted him with the Vanity Breaker, starting her Way Of The Dragon Tour with a win. WINNER: Victoria Salinas BY: Pinfall (Vanity Breaker), 10:32 |
Peyton Holland: "Thank you Helena for your precious insights. And I'm sure Victoria will thank her as well."
Jessi Idol: "A brief distraction and Joey lost a match he could have won.."
Peyton Holland: "He should have expected Helena returning the courtesy. This is not the last we're seeing of them, I'm sure."

The cameras shot backstage from the last match, picking up the hustle and bustle of the backstage area, many staff on edge after what had happened at Riot, and everyone working extra hard to ensure a similar issue or international incident didn’t happen again. What was evident was an increase in security, who were parading the halls just in case anything of ill intent occurred, as the last thing management needed was another situation like the one they found themselves in a week prior. As the camera moved around, it suddenly jerked to the side, catching a shadow moving almost too quickly to be picked up. The camera person must have jolted, and hastily followed the shape it saw, almost like a wing pattern appeared on the walls for the merest of seconds before fading away. As the camera cut the corner, there was a muffled cry, and the thud of boxes tumbling to the ground. As the view peered around the corner, there was a figure in a dusty grey suit, an ear piece being yanked away from their head, as the dazed man looked on in shock.
Voice:
All the way to China they sent you? Has it become that desperate?
Came the voice of another figure, dressed in black upon black, a little mask shrouding the top half of their features. The feminine figure, knelt down, covering the suited man’s mouth with her head, telling him to hush as they did so, and glaring at them with wicked intent with those green and blues of theirs. Anastasia Starling lolled her head to one side, the dainty Passerine smiling in the most adorable fashion, but looking incredibly intimidating in this moment.
Anastasia Starling:
Is it really their belief that I can’t accomplish what I set out to do? Is it really their distrust that I won’t be able to finish the job? I said this was my path, and I will walk down that path, and I will do what is necessary. Have hope. Believe in what I am doing.
Starling stepped back, wincing slightly as she gripped her left shoulder, nudging her head as she encouraged the suited figure to stand and step away.
Anastasia Starling:
You tell them to stop having me followed. This is something I have to do, not them, and I will do everything in my power to make things right… So go!
The figure nodded, hurrying away as they almost tripped over themselves before sprinting around the corner, clutching their ribs. Ana watched them leave, ensuring they were out of sight before they let out a sigh, clutching onto that chain around their neck for a couple of seconds, their eyes closing as they sniffled. Once they opened their eyes, they turned the corner, the camera crew trying to follow them. But once they turned, it was revealed that Anastasia had vanished, and the feed cut elsewhere.

Rhett Adelson & Qiyara Singh VS Nightfall Rising
A lot of interesting points in this match, first of all the debut of the Indian born Qiyara Singh, teaming up with Rhett Adelson to take on Nightfall Rising. Donnie and Jay are quite familiar with Rhett, having trained with him back at Nightfall in Vegas, under the expert guidance of Chris Night. Donnie decided to start the match for his team, and he called out Rhett, jokingly saying that he couldn’t wait to embarrass him in front of his girlfriend. Adelson shook his head and stepped to the middle of the ring, locking up with his friend/rival. The first technical exchange saw Rhett coming out on top, taking Donovan down with an arm drag. Keane stood up and went for more, finding himself once again on the canvas after another arm drag. And the same happened for a third time, with Rhett laughing and mocking his friend. Donnie raised his arm and called for a test of strength, but as soon as Rhett locked his hand with his, he kicked him in the stomach, holding his hand and running toward the corner, jumping on the second rope and, from there, to the third, springboarding himself back toward the center of the ring and taking Rhett down with a springboard arm drag. Grabbing him by the leg, he pulled him to his corner, where he made the tag to Jay. As Gallagher climbed to the top rope, Donnie lifted Rhett with a backbreaker, holding him across his knee while the partner jumped on him with a legdrop. You can say a lot about Nightfall, but they are one fine tag team, and they were proving it again tonight, isolating Rhett and keeping him away from his corner. Knowing how important winning the match quickly can be, Jay and Donnie were throwing everything they had at Rhett, who somehow always managed to survive. Neither a double superkick nor a doomsday device were enough to keep him down, although the latter required the intervention from Qiyara to make the save. He was still in the match but Adelson now desperately needed to create himself an opening and make the tag. Or exploit a mistake from his opponents, in this case Jay missing the standing shooting star press. Uncaring of the rules, Donnie stepped into the ring and blocked Rhett grabbing his foot, stopping him while he was inches away from making the tag to Singh. But the debut of the Indian girl was only delayed of a few seconds, the time Rhett needed to get rid of Keane’s grasp with an enziguri kick and finally reaching his partner. Qiyara entered the ring and, with a dropkick, sent Jay crashing against the corner. She turned around to meet Donovan with a jumping knee that sent the Nightfall student back against the ropes. And from there, it was easy for her to send him out of the ring with a clothesline. Singh looked impressive in her first appearance in front of the MWE crowd. Coming from a family of fighters and no stranger to full contact sports herself, Qiyara surprised everyone with her heavily Muay Thai influenced style, hitting the poor Jay with some hard and pinpoint precise kicks, getting close to win the match for her team with a vicious bicycle knee strike. Gallagher kicked out and quickly made the tag, allowing the fresher Donovan to get back in the ring. At first the unique style of offence of his opponent took him by surprise, and he looked in great difficulty. Things changed when he was able to drag the referee between him and Qiyara, using the innocent official as a shield. Singh stopped in time, but she got caught with a punch to the jaw from behind the ref’s back from Donovan, who quickly pushed the striped shirt man aside to connect with a neckbreaker. Qiyara reversed an irish whip attempt and sent Donnie in her corner, making the tag to Rhett who jumped back in the ring with a springboard dropkick to the seated opponent. Unlike the first part of the match, Adelson was in full control now, obtaining a near fall with a headlock driver. At least he was until Donnie dodged the superkick and hit him with a forearm shot to the kidneys. Rhett arched his back, pushing through the pain to quickly turn around, right into a pele kick from Donovan. Keane climbed to the top rope, signaling for his DK Bomb. But before he could jump, the bell rang. The fifteen minutes time limit was over and the match was declared a draw. The fans didn’t like it, Nightfall Rising was furious. But the rules were clear. A draw! What a shame!
Jessi Idol:
Nightfall Rising seemed so close to the win, but the time limit expired before Donnie could connect the DK Bomb!
Peyton Holland:
Well, this means the two teams get one point each. Winning their next match becomes a must now.
Jessi Idol:
True. What a night this was Peyton!
Peyton Holland:
A lot has happened, a lot of questions are unanswered...
Jessi Idol:
Who are those people following Anastasia? How is Carmine Reaper going to react? Will Bobbi have another shot at the Lockdown Championship after Duke walked out of their match?
Peyton Holland:
Only way to get these answers is to tune in next Wednesday. That's it for tonight folks, good night!
