CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Born in Canton, Ohio, Raymond is the younger brother of GCW wrestler and Anarky leader, Reznik. While his brother focuses on brute force, Raymond is more technically sound, having trained in both mat wrestling and various martial arts disciplines to become more well-rounded and vicious. His love of fighting saw him pick fights around his home state of Ohio, before moving north through Michigan and into Canada, where he found himself having regular brawls for money in isolated towns across British Columbia and Alaska, living as a true grifter.
Once he began to run out of towns where he could fight, Raymond entered the world of professional wrestling so that he could earn more money and fight a constant slew of opponents, beginning in the Jersey-based ultraviolent promotion, Total Anarchy Wrestling.
Raymond signed with the xWo on January 18, 2019 and made his debut at Turmoil Chapter III on January 21, first in a line-up of debuting talent in Mr. Conwell's office and later, attacking Skrabal Stanzas after his match against Azurine Vebbins. He next appeared at Turmoil Chapter IV, airing on February 4. His first match was a tough but decisive victory over Alexis Amira but later in the night, Raymond also participated in a brutal and bloody contest for the xWo Contraband championship against the debuting Carter Davenport, Brian Boru, Rob Kelleher and the reigning champion, Anarchy. By the end of the brawl, Reznik found himself with his hand raised as the new Contraband champion, already making a name for himself within the promotion after his toughness was on full display.
His next official match was a Contraband championship defense against Desmond King on February 21 at the Destiny iPPV. After a brutal fight, Reznik came out on top, retaining the championship and going 3-0 in official matches. Shortly after, Raymond was attacked by Garrett Manning with a baseball bat during a backstage interview, Manning becoming the new Contraband champion. Before Manning could leave later that night, however, Reznik assaulted Garrett with a sledgehammer to the knee and became a two-time Contraband champion. Before the night was over, Reznik was once more attacked by Manning but unfortunately, Garrett got the best of him and it was Anarchy - the former champion - who left Destiny as Contraband champion.
Raymond was set to face World champion Travis Levitt in a non-title Steel Cage match on March 24 at Chapter IV but unfortunately, xWo closed its doors on March 15.
