Gimmick
Sophie is very intelligent and she knows it. As such she can come across as somewhat condescending, knowing how much smarter she is than everyone else. She buys into the philosophy of total war. She has studied famous military strategists such as Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, William Tecumseh, Sherman, and many others. Her favorite is Sun Tzu and she has, in fact, memorized most of his more memorable sayings from The Art of War and will often quote him in promos. Strategic warfare is her thing; she can strategize for the short term for one specific match or she can even strategize and plan for a much longer period of time to achieve greater goals.
Personality:
Not very friendly. At all. She is always thinking about her ultimate goal, whatever that particular goal or endgame may be at that time. She can be very manipulative so if she has to pretend to be something she’s not then she will do just that. Otherwise she is a cold, callous individual. A true emotionless sociopath.
Strengths
--Intelligence. As mentioned above, she is extremely intelligent and a master strategist.
--Technical and Submission skills that are second to none. Sophie was trained by Glenn Braddock at the Braddock Wrestling School. Glenn Braddock was well known for his pure wrestling abilities and passed his knowledge onto Sophie O’Brian, as well to his own daughter Glory.
--Speed. She is very fast and hard to catch.
Weaknesses
--She does not fare well against a power based attack.
--Also if someone were to attempt to match her hold for hold, a sense of pride could get the better of her and she would become one dimensional in an attempt to win only by submission.

Description: Swinging Fisherman’s Neckbreaker/Elias’s Drift Away
Signature Moves
1. Scorched Earth Policy
Description: Using a lighter and an unknown but flammable liquid she’ll “spit” a fireball into the face of her opponent. This is an illegal move so she will only do this if A.) the referee will not see her B.) it’s a no disqualification match or C.) doing so would serve a greater purpose, greater than winning, and thus being disqualified doesn’t matter.
2. Death of Wisdom
Description: Variation on the code breaker
3. Shekhinah Glory

Preferred Weapon(s)
Her fireball (Scorched Earth Policy) is her favorite. When she can’t utilize that she enjoys smaller, more discrete foreign objects such as brass knuckles or anything she can easily hide.
Preferred Match Type(s)
Submission or I Quit. Not that she dislikes the hardcore stuff, she can and will get violent if the need arises. As one of the best pure wrestlers in the world (at least in her mind) she prefers submissions.
Disliked Match Type(s)
Ladder Matches or anything similar…not that she’s afraid of heights, because she isn’t…she just detests the high flying style in professional wrestling. She looks down upon it as “not real wrestling”.

(Include managers, tag partners, close friends, foes, allies or family here)
Mark O’Brian – Her brother, longtime tag partner, former multiple time tag team champion with Sophie.
Glenn Braddock – Trainer, legendary former European wrestler, deceased.
Glory Braddock – Best friend, fourteen time world champion, GDW Hall of Famer, GCW Hall of Famer, MCW Hall of Famer. Truthfully, Glory and Sophie are mirror images of one another, difference being that Glory is mostly viewed as a good person whereas Sophie doesn’t bother to hide her darkness.
CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
(please include previous promotions and title reigns at the least)
Sophie O'Brian and her brother Mark had a difficult life growing up. Their father was an abusive drunk. Mark learned to stand up for himself and fight back but Sophie and her mother would get routinely beaten. This was where professional wrestling came in. Sophie knew that learning the art of self-defense would be invaluable. Therefore she entered the Braddock Wrestling School, where she met Glory Braddock, the daughter of Glenn Braddock who happened to own the school. They became fast friends. Mark would enter the school as well. Glory, Mark, and Sophie were at the top of their class and would get nicknamed "Trinity" by the other students.
Glenn Braddock had always taught his students that the match was never over until that final bell rang, and to always fight with ruthless aggression until you have secured the pin fall or the submission. The final instructions he gave to this particular graduating class that included Glory and the O’Brian siblings was simple: “A professional wrestler is, him or herself, a lethal weapon. Know this and use this knowledge and ability you have wisely.” Glory Braddock, Glenn’s daughter, took it to mean that she needed to be careful and not to hurt people just because she could. Mark and Sophie, however, interpreted things a little differently. They The O’Brian siblings interpreted this as meaning a philosophy of total war: complete and utter destruction of the opposition. Win by any means necessary.
GLOBAL DIVISION OF WRESTLING (2011 – 2013)
The younger O'Brian sibling has good wrestling career ahead of her. She won her first two tag team matches as part of the tag team known as Total War with her brother Mark O'Brian in GDW. Their first match on Friday Night Fever was against Dragon Fury and Nikos. They gained an impressive victory and, in the process, attempted to take them out with Mark's finisher, War Games, on the concrete floor. A rematch was booked between the two teams, this time a street fight, and again Total War came out on top, but in this match Dragon Fury and Nikos had a surprise waiting for them in the form of two new allies: Psychotic Goth and Vampira. The foursome attacked Sophie and Mark, forming a new stable known as Satan's Warriors. The performance of both teams, though, caught the eye of GDW officials, who granted them both tag team title shots at Civil War in a match also involved Might & Majesty and Neil Newman & Kyle Butler. Might & Majesty may have won the tag titles on that particular night, but Sophie O'Brian came in third place in the Civil War Match itself, thus earning her and Mark one more shot at the tag team championship. Sophie and Mark, as Total War, would go on to defeat Might & Majesty for the GDW World Tag Team Championships at Wrestlecade IX.
In order to better advertise their tag team division, GDW booked the first ever Tag Team Any Given Night Match for GDW Purgatory 2012. Total War would be in the match with their titles on the line. To prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that they were indeed the best tag team in GDW, Sophie and Mark offered to put up $250,000 to the team that won, if it wasn't them. Mark and Sophie did go on to win the first ever Tag Team Any Given Night Match, eliminating Chance of Raine last. Two weeks later Total War battled Chance of Raine in a rematch and this time Chance of Raine won the gold. Not to be dismayed, Sophie and Mark kept fighting in the division, eventually defeating Fame & Fortune to earn a rematch with Chance of Raine at Desperate Measures 2012. Sophie and Mark defeated Chance of Raine to win back the GDW World Tag Team Championship.
Sophie and Mark teamed up to battle the returning REC members Lasiewicz and Silver in a non-title match. Lasiewicz and Silver picked up the win. In another battle between Total War and The REC, this time Lasiewicz and Murdock, Sophie and Mark once again fell to The REC. Sophie would make it up to the fans in a World Tag Team Championship defense against Redemption at GDW Survival of the Fittest 2012. It was contested under elimination rules and Mark was eliminated early and Sophie had to fight by herself against Redemption. Sophie ended up making both members of Redemption tap out to submission holds, thus retaining the World Tag Team Championship for Total War. The team suffered a setback after losing to Psychomachia in a non-title tag match. Their next scheduled defense of the world tag team championship will take place at the Apocalypse 2012 pay per view against Mya Denton and Aurora Rose. Total War managed to defeat Aurora and Mya in convincing fashion but Sophie suffered an injury in the match that caused her to lose a child that she was pregnant with, a secret she had been keeping from her fiancee Tony. Total War would go on to defeat the Sex & Tech Connection in a non-title match on the Fever 10 Year Anniversary Show. Sophie now is scheduled to face Serenity one on one in a Pure Rules Match.
Sophie lost to Serenity in what was considered an upset. This gave Serenity and her tag team partner, Cassidy Haze, a measure of momentum heading into their world tag team championship match against Total War at Civil War. Despite a hard fought and valiant effort, Psychomachia was unable to defeat Total War. Sophie and Mark retained their GDW World Tag Team Championship. A familiar foe would face Total War at Wrestlecade X; Angelica Jones & Kayla Jones, The Sisterhood. Sophie tried utilizing her typical tactics of playing mind games with the Jones sisters but it proved unsuccessful as The Sisterhood defeated Total War at Wrestlecade X to become the GDW World Tag Team Champions.
Total War took the war to a whole new level after The Sisterhood began to mock the former champions. Sophie O'Brian declared an entire week to be "Oliver Hardy Appreciation Week" in honor of the man who beat and molested Kayla Jones. This enraged Kayla's older sister Angelica to the point of challenging Sophie to a one on one match. In the match Mark interfered and Total War delivered a spike pile driver onto the steel steps, nearly breaking Angelica's neck. It was announced that at Purgatory 2013 the second annual tag team any given night gauntlet would be held to decide the world tag team championships. Total War has entered this match in the hopes they will win back the gold.
Total War failed to recapture the GDW World Tag Team titles on that night. Sophie instead turned to another obsession of hers: proving she was just as good as her friend Glory Braddock. The two students of Glenn Braddock had already had differences before and that rivalry led up to an ultimate submissions match at Desperate Measures. Sophie won, albeit controversially, when Glenn called for the bell and awarded the win via submission to Sophie despite the fact that Glory never tapped. He did this to teach Sophie that sometimes winning by any means necessary isn't a good philosophy to live by and, in this case, it was true as Sophie wanted to legitimately beat Glory, not win the way she did.
MOTOR CITY WRESTLING (2012)
In MCW, Sophie came in declaring war on the company, arguing that this MCW, resurrected by the Salvatore brothers, was but fraud, a mere copy of the original MCW and must be killed. She didn't gain in popularity but was granted a shot at the world heavyweight championship as part of her singles debut in an elimination match. She won that elimination match to become the World Heavyweight Champion and later burned the championship in a symbolic act.
Sophie would successfully defend the championship against Greg Venom inside of a steel cage on Mayhem 3, thus setting up a match between herself and Kirsta Lewis at Deliverance with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. The rivalry between Sophie and Kirsta was made worse when, as guest referee for a match between Kirsta Lewis and Greg Venom, Sophie was blatantly biased towards Venom, going as far as to get physically involved and spit a fireball into Kirsta's face, costing her the match. A six person tag team match was then booked, setting up Sophie O'Brian, Greg Venom, and Doctor Ian against Kirsta Lewis, Lance Williams, and Nic Cagero. The trio of Cagero, Kirsta, and Lance won, but Sophie would have the last laugh as she would go on to Deliverance and successfully defeat Kirsta Lewis in a chamber match to retain the MCW World Heavyweight Championship. Earlier in the evening she also defeated Jacob Laymon to unify the MCW World Heavyweight and FWA World Heavyweight Championships.
Two weeks later Sophie and her brother Mark would unite with former enemies Greg Venom and Doctor Ian to form The Syndicate, a group dedicated to ending Kayla Redfield's reign as MCW Owner. But that same night would be the night Sophie defended the championship against Glory Braddock. Braddock would defeat Sophie to win the championship. Sophie directed her rage at Braddock's friend, Dawn Lohan, and the two are scheduled to meet at Purgatory in a street fight. Dawn put up a great fight but Sophie ended up winning in the street fight against Dawn. Sophie earned a world heavyweight title shot against Dawn's older sister, Brittany Lohan, at Any Given Night. Sophie had beaten Brittany by disqualification in a match where the title could change hands via dq, but the decision was reversed by MCW Owner Kayla Redfield and the match restarted. Brittany Lohan would go on to defeat Sophie to retain the title. Two weeks later MCW closed its doors.
MILLENNIUM WRESTLING ALLIANCE (2012 – 2013)
Meanwhile in the Millennium Wrestling Alliance she had already started making waves, wrestling to a no contest and forging an alliance with fellow Northern Irishman Jason Talbot with the purpose of continuing Sic Semper Tyrannis in the MWA. She also fought multi-time MWA World Champion Kacy Knight to a standstill. Sophie would bring brother Mark into MWA and they would team up against Maximum Violence and Barajas in a losing effort. After witnessing her best friend, the reigning MWA World Heavyweight Champion Glory Braddock, get attacked on Battlezone, Sophie returned to MWA with her brother Mark to serve as backup for Braddock. Sophie is scheduled to participate in both the Millennium Championship and World Tag Team Championship matches at the Risings Sons pay per view. While Sophie failed to capture the Millennium Championship, she and her brother Mark did win the MWA World Tag Team Championship defeating Fame & Fortune, Bad Meets Evil, and the Knights of Anarchy.
Their first title defense was to be held on Battlezone. Unfortunately the opposition was never announced until that very night. Sophie and Mark prepared for anything and what they got were a pair of local jobbers in the form of White Trash Tommy Walker and Brandon S. Walker. Total War quickly and easily decimated the pair. Immediately following their dominating victory Sophie demanded better competition from MWA. Her wish was granted in the form of an Escape Match at the Revelations pay per view against two other tag teams, The Taylor Sisters and Team BS, for the MWA World Tag Team Championship.
Total War's next challenge came in the form of Jackie Sweets and Jared Baker, also known as Shattered Dreams. Shattered Dreams defeated Total War to become the new MWA World Tag Team Champions. Sophie wanted to immediately strike back at MWA for what she viewed as unfair treatment of her and Mark but her friend within Trinity, Glory Braddock, did not approve of this action. Thus Trinity went their separate ways and Sophie, with her brother Mark, are now looking to regain the MWA World Tag Team Championship and, perhaps, watch the company burn to the ground. At Nemesis Total War defeated Shattered Dreams to regain the MWA World Tag Team Championship.
GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (2012 – 2019)
Sophie's career in GCW began with Resurrection where a one night tournament was held to crown a new GCW World Champion. Sophie defeated Emily Cage in the first round but lost to Matthew Bowden in the second round to be eliminated from contention. A rivalry began between Total War and the duo of Aphrodite Noel and Pierce Manning. At For Glory and Gold Total War defeated Manning and Noel. Total War did battle with Golden Era at Deadly Dreams for the right to challenge for the tag team titles but came up short. In an ultimate elimination match at Survival of the Fittest again Mark and Sophie came up just short of victory.
Sophie struck out on her own as she started gaining singles success, enough to warrant here a spot in the first ever Devastator Match for the GCW International Championship. Sophie came in third place that night at All Hallow's Eve. Sophie entered the Best of the Best Tournament to crown a new number one contender to the world championship. Sophie won the tournament but lost in her title match to Alexander Midas. Sophie would get a rematch and this time she won the GCW World Heavyweight Championship from Alexander Midas. Sophie would hold the championship for a month before losing it to Kurt Logan.
With GDW's closing, Sophie O'Brian and her brother Mark signed a new deal with GCW. They will return as participants in the Lethal Lottery tournament beginning on the next edition of Shotgun. Sophie, paired up with Steven Bauer, made it very far in the tournament before being eliminated by Meagan Collins. Sophie and Mark then ended up getting in a feud with Fame & Fortune. Total War won that feud by defeating Jones and Collins at Game Over.
Sophie's career from there was nothing but a series of ups and downs after that as she struggled in the mid-card scene. She resurfaced in 2015, joining the mysterious Nero as part of his Nirvana. At first she was a loyal subject but quickly it turned out that it was all a ruse in order to take over Nirvana and use it for her own purposes. Sophie's Nirvana quickly faded and she did as well until 2016 when she resurfaced as a member of Glory Braddock's Original Intent. Under the Original Intent regime, Sophie was deemed to be the protege of Glory Braddock. Sophie put up resistance at first but eventually she accepted her lot in life and after doing so she got two tag title opportunities, both against High Voltage, one with Kevin Edwards as her partner and one with Caitlyn Perry, a fellow Glory Braddock protege and servant, as her partner.
Both times Sophie failed to capture the GCW World Tag Team Championship and after the second failure, and after Glory berating her publicly for her failure, Sophie and Mark turned on Glory, leaving Original Intent to once again strike out on their own. Their first target since going back on their own was Jazmyn Rain. Sophie did her best to push Jazmyn Rain to the brink of insanity and prove that she still had a dark side resting within her psyche. Jazmyn withstood Sophie's temptations and Sophie moved on to focus on becoming GCW North American Champion. Sophie teamed with her brother Mark in an attempt to defeat High Voltage and claim the North American title in the process at Resurrection VI but the sibling pair failed in their attempt. Sophie next turned her attention to the tag team championship, but failed to earn a one on one shot and failed to capture the titles in a tag team turmoil at Survival of the Fittest. Now Sophie has reunited with some of her former friends and allies of the Glenn Braddock Wrestling School to form a new group, Britain's Best. Sophie O'Brian would team up with Glory Braddock to defeat The Sisterhood at Resurrection VII. The following edition of Shotgun Sophie and Mark took on the new Undisputed GCW Tag Team Champions Twin Magic in a losing effort.
SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING (2017 – 2018)
Sophie O'Brian joined SCW as a surprise entrant in the 2017 Taking Hold of the Flame Rumble Match. She performed well, making quite the impact in her debut. First she targeted Ravyn Taylor, due primarily to the fact that she saw her as a unique challenge, an intellectual equal. Meanwhile she was declaring to the SCW universe that all of them were just as corrupt and villainous as many claimed she was. After seemingly being proven right at Learning From History, Sophie has now decided to move on to more materialistic goals. On Breakdown Sophie O'Brian defeated Billy Breakdown. She went on to The Future Is Now and failed to capture the Interim United States Championship but immediately turned things around with a string of victories over Bill Barnhart, The Gothfather, and Leiloken Da Vinci. Sophie O'Brian then defeated Katie Steward and Alexis Quinne to earn a shot at the SCW Television Championship. One week later Sophie defeated Ikiro Yoshida to become the new SCW Television Champion. Despite failing to win the 2018 Taking Hold of the Flame rumble match, Sophie would go on to successfully defend her SCW Television Championship against Derek Adonis and then again the following Breakdown.
