CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Her story begins like most. Family of five, a dog, normal schooling and good grades…
Until her father took her to her first wrestling show. From that moment onward, her life revolved around the sport. Purchasing tapes, DVD’s, finding streams and going to every show she could possibly get to. Wrestling became her life. At fourteen, a falsified signup sheet and her larger size got her into a wrestling camp, much to her parents dismay. She managed to train for six months before being caught out, which damn near destroyed her dreams then and there.
Kicked from the camp alongside a permanent ban, she found herself faltering in school and at home. There weren’t many other camps she could find her way to, at least not yet for the time being, and she blamed everyone but herself for it.
Two incredibly long years later, after nearly dropping out of school and quitting four different jobs, a new gym opened minutes from home. Taking her savings and no shit from her parents, she enrolled and a week later was back hitting the mats. A week after that? She was sleeping on those mats, doing her homework in a corner and eating dinner perched on the top rope.
She could never say she was the best there, far from it in fact, but nobody worked harder. Barring the few hours a day she’d be at school, she was in that gym. Setting up the ring, cleaning and breaking it down after, keeping everyone supplied with water and always offering to be a test dummy of sorts.
Five more months passed and she got to work her first match, a losing effort in a tag team match, but it cemented her as a mainstay at the subpar operation run out of the gym. She’d go on wrestling and training there for the next few years until hitting her 20s, where she was running out of steam. Wrestling had consumed nearly every minute of her teenage life, and part of her adult one was well, and she decided that as much as she liked getting out there and hitting people, she needed a break.
Taking the money she’d saved from being a live-with-your-parents wrestler, she packed up and took a personal trainer job in New York City. She still resides there, and has taken a few small bookings when the need arises, but has been content thus far.
Well, until now.
