Singles Match
Deacon Nash VS Kristina SpencerA lot of buzz and curiosity surrounded the debut of Deacon Nash, following the cryptic (and creepy) messages on social media. Is there more to him than just the shock effect? What can he bring to MWE and particularly, to Riot? All these question found their answers tonight, as he took on Krissy Spencer. The Wicked One didn’t seem too impressed by the opponent, despite his pictoresque look and that gory vibe that preceded him. She welcomed him to Riot with a swift kick to the stomach while pretending she was going for a test of strength, catching him off guard. The next step was dropping him on his head with a nasty ddt, trying to end this quickly but only getting a two count. She kept her offense going , firing him in the corner and charging at full speed, leaping for a splash. Nash moved away, causing her to crash against the turnbuckle. Grabbing her by the back of her head, he then smashed her face first against the post multiple times, with ever growing fury. Until the referee stepped in and put an end to this under the threat of a disqualification, getting laughed at by Deacon. Unorthodox, overly aggressive, violent. Those were the first three adjectives coming to mind to describe Deacon’s offense. Nobody could deny his effectiveness, as Krissy seemed unable to counter his attacks. His heavy strikes were giving her no break, slowly tearing her apart. Finishing his sequence with a discus lariat that turned her inside out, he climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, a wicked smile on his face before he jumped and dropped the elbow across her chest. He laid on top of the opponent, and the referee started to count. Before he got to three though, Spencer raised her shoulder. Kristina needed to find a way to turn the tides, and the occasion presented itself when the referee turned his back to the action to put the protective pad Deacon removed back on his place. That’s when she hit him with a desperate low blow, rolling him up quickly to obtain a near fall. Deacon still hadn’t fully recovered from the sneak attack when Kristina caught him with an atomic drop, following with a bicycle kick. Climbing on to the top, she jumped off with a moonsault, landing with her knees on Deacon’s chest, performing one of her signature moves called A Wicked Good Time. Surely, not for Nash, who still managed to raise his shoulder in time. By the end of the match, Nash regained control and nailed the opponent with a springboard ddt. Kristina barely kicked out this time, and this only pushed Nash to kick it up a notch. After stomping her to the mat, he once again reached the top rope, this time delighting the fans with a beautiful and incredibly high Shooting Star Press… Getting caught with the Hand Of The Wicked in mid-air! The punch to the heart put an abrupt stop to Deacon’s flight, and Spencer quickly capitalized on it with a cover attempt. The smile on her face as the ref made the count immediately turned into an expression of anger when Nash kicked out. Frustrated, she blamed the official for counting too slow, making the fatal mistake to turn her back on the opponent, who knocked her on her knees with a clothesline to the back. Wasting no time, he pulled her up and put an end to the match with his Perfect Flaw (Acid Rainmaker), obtaining his first W in MWE. WINNER: Deacon Nash BY: Pinfall (Perfect Flaw), 7:02 |

Tiny Des VS Adam WebbThe Junior Heavyweight Champion didn’t take too kindly some chants and signs pro Saki he noticed while waiting for the start of the match. Wren Sweet, his girlfriend and manager shook her head as well, whispering something in Adam’s ear from her position in his corner. And finally the match started, the pair met in the middle of the ring and Des quickly went for a quick pin, trying to catch a distracted Adam off guard. All she got out of it tho, was a two count and a slap to the face from the Junior Heavyweight Champion. Adam then began building some momentum sending Destiny in the corner and going with his jumping knee/bulldog combination. He made the cover, but not before performing a picture perfect springboard moonsault landing on top of the opponent and hooking the leg. Figgins’ reaction was immediate and it came in the form of a kicking combination that left Adam stunned in the middle of the ring. She gained some speed against the ropes and went for a tilt-a-whirl ddt, countered into a backbreaker by the champion. As minutes passed and Adam kept control, he grew more and more confident. Probably too much. Instead of keeping constant pressure on the opponent, he started taking too much time, almost toying with her. This gave Tiny Des the chance to recuperate, and counter a suplex attempt with a knee to ribs. She then whipped him against the ropes, jumping for a leg lariat as he rebounded back. Adam was quickly back on his feet, swinging and missing with his right hand as Destiny ducked under hit and ran to the ropes, taking him down with a springboard crossbody. She then jumped on the grounded opponent with a running senton, and a second one. A third one followed and the scene repeated itself a few more times for the joy of the fans who were definitely loving it. When she was done, she left the ring and, from the apron, jumped on the top rope, landing with her leg across Adam’s neck with a springboard legdrop. All her efforts still weren’t enough to beat the champion. And neither was the Destiny Drop (Springboard Reverse DDT), although that was pretty close and it needed Wren’s readiness to put her foot on the bottom rope to possibly save him from the defeat. Somehow the champion turned the tables, pulling out an ace from his sleeve in the form of a kip up hurricanrana. Tiny Des charged in, looking to regain control before the champ could build some momentum. Adam was ready for it and, with a drop toe hold takedown, sent her hanging on the bottom rope, hitting her with a vicious running knee to the back of the head. He then pulled her up and tried a german suplex, but Tiny Des grabbed the top rope with both hands, hanging on for dear life. Despite his efforts, Adam wasn’t able to lift her, at least not until he forced her to release the grasp with another shot to the back of the head, this time with his forearm. Now he connected with the released suplex, exiting the ring. He even took the time to share a kiss with his girlfriend, before using the top rope as a springboard to jump on the opponent with a shooting star press, hooking the leg for the one, two, three. WINNER: Adam Webb BY: Pinfall (Wicked Webb), 8:29 |

Heathen Jones VS Cameron GreyCameron Grey asked for this match, after Heathen ruined his debut match against Rome Endrizzi one week ago. And now he finally had the chance to get his sweet revenge. You could tell by the look in his eyes that he was dying to get his hands on the godless from the south, who was just now making his way to the ring, accompanied as always by the rattling of the chain and the boos of the fans. Imagine his disappointment when a fans jumped the barricade and attacked Jones. To nobody’s surprise, it was Rome Endrizzi, who decided he was the one who should have made Heathen pay, beating Jones down with his own chain. Security promptly came to the scene and separated them, not quickly enough to avoid that Endrizzi incapacitated the opponent for this match. WINNER: N/A BY: No Contest, 0:00 |
Backstage we cut to Dean Smith as he’s arriving to the arena a little later than everybody else. Dressed in a nice dress shirt, a pair of sunglasses on, a brand new watch on his wrist and some fitted jeans. In one hand he’s carrying his bag with ring gear while in the other he’s carrying the Invictus Championship title. Coincidentally, his sister Bree is walking by and hails him. Bree wearing her BreeTee Committee shirt and black MIB glasses while walking around with her usual ring gear trunks and boots.
Bree Smith:
Hey, Bro!
Dean Smith:
Bree. Hey
Bree Smith:
Where’s your shirt?
Bree says noticing he’s not wearing the Bring the Fight shirt Millennium were selling at all Riot events.
Dean Smith:
My what?
Bree Smith:
Your shirt. You should wear it, like Mimi says, helps sell them.
Dean then notices his shirt and walks past Bree to the table which has boxes of water bottles all out on display.
Dean Smith:
I lost it.
Before Dean takes a water bottle and downs nearly all of it. Bree reacts surprised mixed with curious and goes with her hunch.
Bree Smith:
Are you nervous about your mystery opponent?
Dean sighs quenched and drops the bottle in the recycling bin nearby.
Dean Smith:
Nah. Did you forget I’ve had a mystery opponent before and I ended up making her tap in Mexico?
Bree Smith:
Nu uh, Bro. Just because you’re acting funny.
Dean Smith:
I’m good. Besides you and Teagan have your tag match to focus on tonight. Where is Kelp?
Bree Smith:
Just video chatting with her babies. But we’ve been hitting the gyms and we’re ready to take on Devin and Andrew tonight. Teegs has been an animal working on her biceps for this, and her arm wrestling contest. I think she wants to challenge you to one too.
Dean breaks and laughs a little.
Dean Smith:
Well I’d rather not injure your tag team partner. Since you need to get those Millennium tag belts.
Bree knocks her head back and sighs loudly, frustrated by it.
Bree Smith:
Ahhhh. We’re trying. We get so close, here and in [R]evo. Every time we get close enough we fumble. And since we lost in Tampa, we’re further behind now.
Bree’s optimism is slowly starting to fade a bit so Dean chucks her a water bottle, making Bree have to catch it.
Dean Smith:
Listen. First of all, you nor Teagan were pinned in that match. Second of all, picking up a win tonight puts you girls back towards the tag belts.
Bree Smith:
I guess that’s true.
Bree says with a slightly tilted head as she thinks about it.
Bree Smith:
Thanks, Bro.
He modestly shrugs and helps himself to another bottle of water.
Dean Smith:
You’re welcome.
And he takes a drink which brings the watch into Bree’s eye line.
Bree Smith:
Where did you get the watch?
Dean looks at it while in mid-drink and then lowers his arm.
Dean Smith:
Oh, just a little reward for doing some excellent work.
Bree Smith:
Looks nice.
Bree says noticing it, how it was perfectly fitting his wrist and paired very well with his outfit he’s got on.
Bree Smith:
I’m going to go see if Teegs is finished and ready for some last minute strategy. Catch you later, Bro.
With Bree heading passed Dean, her phone chimes immediately and the scene slowly fades to black.

Tag Team Match
The BreeTee Committee VS Devin Hearst & Andrew Wilkow
The BreeTee Committee has been one of the main staples of the tag division since its inception, although they always came up short when the title was on the line. Tonight they took on Andrew Wilkow and Devin Hearst who may not be a tag team on the regular, but if you question their chemistry, get ready to be proven wrong. Wilkow started the match, imposing his physicality on Teegs, pushing her back in the corner. The referee asked for a clean break and Drew seemed to grant it, only to change his mind and swing his hand for a big chop. Teagan was expecting it and was able to duck the blow, Such was the force behind it that Wilkow lost his equilibrium and ended up in the same spot Gallagher was before, with his back against the corner. Teagan landed a few kicks on his chest before the referee separated them, buying Andrew enough time to refocus and coming up with a new game plan. Nothing fancy, he grabbed Teegs by the throat with both hands and shoved her in the corner, Her head bounced against the turnbuckle, rocking her momentarily. Drew brought his index over his lips asking the fans to stay quiet before hitting the Irish with a monstrous chop that echoed in the silence the whole arena plunged in. At the commentary table, Zackary Dyson pointed out that this must’ve hurt, while Figgles commented that after getting hit by that, Teegs will probably wear a AA from now on. Dyson quickly went back calling the live action, where Wilkow had the opponent over his shoulder for just a moment, before dropping her down with a running powerslam. For several minutes Teagan looked powerless against her opponents . The duo had her isolated, and they were slowly but methodically picking her apart. Hearst was working her on the mat, targeting the lower back with an impressive array of submission moves. He then made the tag back to Devin, who insisted on the same part of her body with his heavy strikes and throws, such as a Suplex Lift Into Backbreaker. Near fall after near fall, this match seemed to be heading toward his natural conclusion after a dominant performance by Hearst and Wilkow. That until Teagan slipped away from a suplex attempt and dropkicked Andrew on the back, sending him into his corner. Hearst quickly made the tag and jumped into the ring, trying to reach Gallagher before she could make the tag, and arriving just one moment too late. And with Bree now in, the music suddenly changed. With a series of three clothesline, she left Devin laying on the floor, turning her attention on Andrew and knocking him off the apron with a running forearm. She then rushed back toward Devin, who stopped her with a superkick. The foot to the jaw didn’t take Bree down, thus leading Hearst to charge at her and run right into a spinebuster from the blonde girl. The fans began showing their support for the BreeTee with loud chants. as the two ladies were finally showing what made them one of the best tag teams in MWE and in the industry. They began working on Devin like a perfectly oiled machine, keeping him away from his partner and the chance to tag him in. Bree reminded him what The Power Of Bree is all about, connecting with her series of three german suplexes, tagging Teegs. Miss Kitty climbed on her partner’s shoulders and connected her corckscrew senton, making the cover. Andrew rushed in to break the pin, but Bree tackled him to the ground. Still, Hearst managed to kick out. The match went on, and the BreeTee Committee kept control getting close to the near fall in a couple more occasions. They seemed to have the match in their pocket, The fans were calling for the Bree-Show, and the powerhouse of the BreeTee wasn’t going to disappoint them. She took a moment too long soaking in their adulation, her eyes scanning the multitude of faces before sending the opponent against the ropes. and throwing him up in the air. Devin had enough time to prepare himself for this, and countered it with a dropkick. A tag was made and Wilkow entered the ring, starting to swing his right arm, drawing circles in the air while Bree was getting up. And then he charged in, putting all his strength in a devastating LARIAAAAT! that almost beheaded Smith. Hearst already took Teagan off the apron and kept her busy in a brawl on the outside, while Andrew picked up the win for his team. WINNER: Andrew Wilkow & Devin Hearst BY: Pinfall (LARIAAAAT), 11:37 |

Invictus Rules
Dean Smith VS Mystery OpponentInvictus Rules
A big surprise awaited was in store for Dean Smith tonight. Speculations brought up all sort of names, but nobody was expecting to see Zooey West-Jaa coming back to a MWE ring. First Round: Looking sharp as ever, the Thai born started off with the right foot, forcing the champion against the ropes with a barrage of knee strikes. Most of them were blocked by Smith, but those that breached through his guard immediately made him realize that this was not going to be an easy opponent. None of them was looking to go for a submission, the leitmotif of this match could be described as hit harder than the opponent. Dean with his heavy hands, a series of four uppercuts before dropping Zooey down with a rock bottom. West-Jaa answered with her kicks, quick strikes to the ribs followed by a spinning heel kick that caught Dean right on the temple. He staggered, seemingly out of it but when Zooey went for the KO blow, he caught her with a right punch right above the eye. A lucky shot, perhaps, but strong enough to cut the blonde fighter. And on this, the first round ended. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Smith 10-9 Dyson: Smith 10-9 Figgles: Smith 10-9 Second Round: Sitting in the corner while the doctors were medicating her, Zoeey had her eyes glued on her opponent. And when the bell rang, she sprinted out of her corner and knocked Dean back with a running jumping knee. She gave him no breaks, hitting him with elbows and punches in the corner, until Dean was able to push her back. He went for a clothesline, but Zooey ducked it and kicked him in the stomach. From a clinch position she hit him with various knee to the face, ending this sequence with a roundhouse kick. It was lights out for Dean, who had to surrender to the impressive former Muay Thay Champion. WINNER: Zooey West-Jaa BY: KO, Round 2; 1:18 |

Megan Rydell VS Christina RoseAlways confident, Megan didn’t seem to be taking her opponent too seriously, despite all the accomplishments the veteran achieved throughout her whole career. Standing in front of her, Rydell started talking her down, until the multi time world champion shut her mouth with a resounding slap. This infuriated Meg, who literally jumped on her and took her down, hammering her with a series of lefts and rights to the face. Every now and then she would stop to smash Christina’s head on the mat, until the referee put a stop to it. Rose slowly made it back to her feet, looking dizzy and staggering while the referee was checking on her. Megan took a run to the ropes, knocking the opponent down with a clothesline to the back of the head. The referee sidestepped at the last moment, looking at Megan with an incredulous expression. Still, he had to make the count when Rydell, after nailing the opponent with a brainbuster, rolled her on her back and hooked the leg. The first part of the match saw Megan in full control, giving the opponent no chance to land a single shot. This changed when, in an excess of confidence, Rydell went for her Beautiful Disaster (Lifting DDT) to early in the match, and Christina was able to turn it into a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex. As soon as Meg kicked out and got back to her feet, ready to fight, she ate a standing dropkick from Rose. The impact sent the former Cloud Gate Champion outside the ring , where she was soon reached by her opponent with a springboard crossbody to the outside. Feeling the momentum changing, Christina tossed Meg against the barricades, then again back first onto the apron and smashed her head against the turnbuckle, rolling her back in the ring when the ref’s count reached eight. Climbing on the apron as well, Christina watched Meg laying on the mat, visibly in pain and with a small cut right above the eye, consequence of the close encounter with the unforgiving steel post. With a smirk on her face, she climbed to the top rope and went for the Mega Buster, but the cannonball senton found nobody home. This served as a lesson to Rydell, who now looked more focused, wasting no more time on taunts and mind games. She blocked Christina in a corner, a long series of knee strikes to the chest to wear her down before sitting her on the top rope and climbing up as well, jumping and wrapping her legs around her head throwing her down on the mat with a top rope hurricanrana. Constantly on the attack, Megan reminded everyone that she’s not only one of the most talented high flyers on the roster, but one of the most proficient strikers as well. Her kicks were breaking down what was left of Christina’s defense, leaving her open to Meg’s crescent kick. A thing of beauty, but only worth a two count. It was only a matter of time now, and the end came a couple of minutes later with the Rydell Driver (Springboard crucifix driver) right into a pin. When the referee raised her arm in victory, Megan had the most confident smile on her face, aware that she just made a major statement. WINNER: Megan Rydell BY: Pinfall (Rydell Driver), 6:48 |
Heath Williams Championship Match
Singles Match
Heath Williams (c) VS Kelsey SpencerSingles Match
After being announced on Twitter over the past week, Kelsey Spencer is getting her second shot at the Heath Williams Championship. This was decided by Riot General Manager, Yulia Kirilenko, after The Manic’s brutal attack on Spencer right before her match against Meg Rydell last week, which many would argue is the reason for the former Uncanny Socialites downfall. To kick things off, Devilskin’s “Start a Revolution” begins to play, and out comes the Heath Williams Champion himself, Heath Williams, with The Manic by his side. Heath strides to the ring with his classic vibe of cocky arrogance. At the end of the ramp, Heath points to the ring ropes, and gestures to The Manic, who climbs the steel steps with Heath in tow. She sits on the middle rope, and pushes the top rope upwards, granting Williams easy access into the ring. They stand off side as the theme music cuts. The Bombpops’ “Ca in July” hits next as the fans explode with excitement. Heath’s opponent for the evening, Kelsey Spencer, emerges from behind the curtain. In contrast to how she was acting in their last encounter, this time, Spencer seems much more focused and serious. She strides to the ring and climbs up on the apron, almost like she only sees Williams himself … like they are the only two in the entire arena. Soon after, she gets in the ring between the ropes and retreats to the opposite corner, warming up by tugging on the ropes. The Ring Announcer performs the usual introductions before a title match, and once they’ve left, the official calls for the bell. This time around, rather than go ahead and make the first move, Spencer cautiously steps forward and gets into a starting position, watching carefully for Heath’s first movement. Heath pulls a dummy kick, faking out the move he performed in their last match that lead to victory via Frozen Over. Memories of how their last encounter panned out still fresh in her mind, Kelsey flinches and takes a swift step back. Heath chuckles, then charges forward and forces the smaller Spencer into a lock-up scenario. Kelsey struggles for dominance, but it’s no use, the larger Heath Williams clearly has more strength in the bag. Williams nails her with a headbutt, knocking her backwards into the ropes. Spencer scrambles to remain vertical, and with her back quite literally against the ropes, she quickly understands that she needs to get scrappy to escape the sticky situation. The Champion is thrown aback, as Kelsey gets physical with him, throwing lefts and rights into his midsection. She goes for her sixth right, but Williams swats it out of the way, then jabs her in the jaw with a left fist. Spencer is sent reeling, clutching her face as she staggers away. The visual brings a smirk to the Heath Williams Champion’s face … but, a sudden spinning kick from the spunky Spencer wipes it clean off, in addition to having Williams seeing stars. Spencer readjusts her jaw after the fake out, making full use of those strong style kicks she picked up during her time in Japan, delivering the stinging shots to Heath’s hamstring. Eventually, the champion’s leg gives way and he falls to a knee, still trying to shake the cobwebs. Spencer kicks it up to the next gear, rebounding off the ropes and flooring her foe with an impactful running dropkick that catches him flush in the jaw. Williams crumbles to the mat and Spencer scrambles to make a quick cover. ONE… Williams quickly powers out and scrambles across the ring to the sanctuary of the ropes as he tries to piece together what just happened. It would seem that the roles are somewhat reversed on this night, with Williams letting his overconfidence get the best of him in the early goings. Heath uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet, taking a deep breath as Kelsey smirks his way. They once again meet centre ring and engage in a quick boxing match, with Heath coming out on top after an overhead punch. That’s what we’re lead to believe at least, until Kelsey comes up with a stern uppercut, catching the Champ off guard. The fans are brought to their feet when Spencer grabs a handful of Williams’ hair and wrenches him into a front facelock, indicating that she’s looking for the swift execution of her devastating finishing move, the Deprivation DDT. If his sense of desperation is anything to go by, Williams has certainly studied tape and seen what the move can do, escaping it the quickest way he knows how. He reaches up and jams a thumb in Spencer’s right eye, which immediately has her release the move and stumble around, blinded. As Spencer tries to get the vision back in her eye, and after he gets told off by the official, Heath rises up and delivers a shin kick to Spencer’s left leg, knocking her to her knees. Then, Heath nails her with shin kick after shin kick, which results in a successful execution of the Seven Deadly Shins. Heath takes a moment to watch Kelsey as she tries to figure a way back to her feet, however she’s so dazed and out of it, that all of her attempts are unsuccessful. He walks over, grabs a handful of her hair and pulls her to her feet. He holds her head back and presses the fingers of his left hand into her cheeks. “Pitiful,” he shouts. “PITIFUL!” He then finishes her off with a sudden Frozen Over, and picks up the one, two, three. WINNER: Heath Williams BY: Pinfall (Frozen Over), 5:59 |
The people in attendance rain down with boos. Instead of celebrating another victory over Kelsey Spencer, Heath continues the onslaught. He stomps her in the back, in the head, everywhere he can possibly stomp. He pulls his vanquished foe back to her feet, ready to hit the helpless Kelsey with a second Frozen Over, however he’s stopped in his tracks, as he’s attacked from behind by…
Duncan Watts?!
Watts hammers Williams with a forearm to the back of the head, then twists him around and sends him towards the turnbuckle with an irish whip. He follows up with a quick Helluva Kick, that causes Heath to slump down into the corner. He goes over and checks on Kelsey, who appears confused and hesitant about his aid. He extends a hand, and after a while Kelsey, who’s still holding the back of her head with one hand, accepts the gesture with the other and allows herself to be pulled to her feet. Duncan then goes over the turnbuckle opposite Williams, and ascends. However, as he’s about to hit Coast to Coast, the move that made him such a formidable foe as The Misery, The Manic gets a hold of Williams and pulls him towards safety.
Duncan calls for a microphone.
Duncan Watts:
It took me a while to clear my head, but Heath Williams… I HAVE FINALLY OVERCOME YOUR MAGIC SPELL! You ruined my life, you bastard. You made me eat copious amounts of raw steak, you had me legally change my name to The Misery, which I should add, I am still in the process of reversing, you had me walk around here pissing everybody off and treating everyone like shit! Well, guess what, YOU NO LONGER RULE ME!
Kelsey stands by him, watching with a curious gaze and holding her ribs as he turns his attention to The Manic.
Duncan Watts:
As for you, Liora. It pains me to see that you’re still falling for this guy’s crap. You’re an amazing young woman with so much potential to succeed in life, why the hell are you here with this creep?! You should come with me. Come on, let’s leave this place. Let’s leave Williams behind us. I know you and me had a connection when I was The Misery, let’s see if the connection between Liora and Duncan Watts is just as strong.
Kelsey’s eyes widen and she tries to hide her amusement, looking between Duncan and The Manic. An injured Heath gets a hold of a microphone, taking deep breaths.
Heath Williams:
You really think she’d wanna be with a loser like you, Watts? You’re even more delusional than I thought.
Duncan Watts:
SHUT UP, I’m not talking to you, you evil piece of shit. Liora, what do you say?
The Manic takes the microphone from Heath and nervously steps forward.
The Manic:
Duncan… I-I…
She blushes, and everyone gawks, expecting to watch the conclusion of what has been one of the most bizarre romance stories in the past year. Her facials then just as quickly turn to disgust.
The Manic:
I’m really disgusted you’d even think I’d be interested.
The fans boo in defence of the man who came to Kelsey’s aid.
The Manic:
But… I tell you what. Everyone deserves a chance, right? So, I’ll cut you a deal. You take on Heath in a match next week, and if you win, I’ll walk away with you, and we’ll have this little fairytale ending you’re clearly after.
Duncan Watts:
Sure, great! I’m still technically contracted to MWE after all so-
The Manic:
Let me finish. If you lose, Duncan, for a second time you will sell Heath your soul and you will join The Revolution. Except this time, you won’t be The Misery…
Heath looks at The Manic with a smirk. Duncan listens in curiously, and Kelsey watches cautiously.
The Manic:
You will be… The Mutt.
Duncan Watts:
Challenge. Accepted.
Watts drops the mic, then goes over to check on Kelsey once more, who appears rather perplexed by his acceptance of the challenge. The scene fades with Heath and The Manic making their exit.

Singles Match
Javen VS Trey ColeThe first skirmish between Brothers McMillions and HolligunnZ saw the MWE Tag Team Champions pulling one against the number one contenders, when Spectre took advantage of a distracted Christian Michaels and rolled him up for a quick three. Tonight the McMillions had the chance to set the score right, and in front of their home crowd in Tennessee. Javen and Cole were already at odds after their altercations during last wednesday’s match. The referee was still reminding them the rules and the two were already getting in each other’s face. At first it was just verbal assault, but it didn’t take long to get physical when Trey said something less than appreciative about Tennessee. Javen pushed him, Cole shoved him back and Simon came at him with a forearm to the jaw. Then it was an all-out brawl, the two competitors throwing heavy shots at each other. Javen sent the opponent against the ropes, attempting a clothesline that Cole ducked, rebounding back from the opposite side with a springboard crossbody. Javen kicked out in one and stood up in front of the opponent, who caught him with a punch to the ribs, following with a spinning back kick that doubled him over. The quick combination continued with a rising kick and a stomp to the foot, ending with a knee to the face. The ropes kept Javen on his feet preventing the fall, at least momentarily, as he bounced back right into an exploder suplex from the Father Of FInesse. The fans were firmly behind the homeboy who was in great difficulty against Trey’s unique set of offense. And even when Javen seemed to have found an opening after sending Cole in the corner with an irish whip, Cole immediately regaining control, slamming the charging opponent to the mat with a corner STO, making the cover after knocking him down with a shining wizard. Christian Michaels on the outside kept cheering his brother on, rallying the fans to do the same hoping this would help him find a way to turn the tides of this match. And it worked, right when it looked like all hope was gone and Cole was ready to put the word end to this match with his 630 senton. At the very last moment, Javen rolled to his right, leaving the opponent nothing but the canvas for his hard landing. A second later, and Simon already had the opponent’s shoulders on the mat thanks to a Mistral Cradle, from which the Holligunn kicked out in two, Just a near fall, but enough to give Javen and the fifteen thousands gathered inside the Memorial Gymnasium new hope. A series of chops, followed by some uppercuts and a picture perfect dropkick earned him another near fall, and a huge boost of confidence. The last part of the match was characterized by quick, back and forth action. And a lot of near falls, from both sides. It started with a long series of cradles and pinning predicament that made it hard for the referee to keep track. At the end of it, the two competitors were once again standing one in front of the other, and Javen struck first with a right hook. Trey dodged it, sneaking behind his back and rolling him on his shoulders with a schoolboy pin, following with a kip up enziguri, obtaining another two count. A minute later and it was Javen’s turn to pull his air as Trey kicked out from the sit-out side slam. CM and Spectre were really caught up in the action, shouting at their respective partners and at each other, in what started looking like a deja-vu from last wednesday, only with different protagonists. A sit-out jawbreaker sent Cole staggering backwards against the ropes, where he was met by some knees to the sternum from Javen. A blink of an eye, and Javen was already making the cover after hitting the Javen Effect (Twist Of Fate). Spectre decided to ruin the McMillions party and sliding in to break up the pin, causing the match to end in a dq. WINNER: Javen BY: DQ, 14:20 |
The fans didn’t take it well, and neither did Christian who reached Spectre inside the ring and clubbed him with a shot to the back. He then fired him against the ropes, catching him with an impressive spinebuster for the joy of the fans. Javen and Trey were brawling as well, the McMillion easily getting the upper hand on the worn out opponent and lifting him for a powerslam, dropping him not too far from his teammate. A quick glance at his brother, and the pair climbed on the top rope. A Javenation from Simon, a Diving Leg Drop from Christian and the show closed on the image of the triumphant McMillions standing over the MWE champions. Javen left the ring and grabbed the titles from the timekeeper table, joining his brother back inside the ropes and handing him one of the belts. One quick nod, and they both raised them high in the air. The message was sent.
