MWE Presents: Viva La Revolucion
Live from Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, CDMX
Sunday, June 30th, 2019
The stage is the same as night one, the theme song once again "Rev Up" by Madball, the atmosphere just as electric, if not more. The camera takes us to the commentary booth, where the four commentators greets the fan and present tonight's card highlighting the guest star, the Revolution AJ Morales who will put his Seattle Pro World Championship on the line against Spider. Four more titles will be up for grabs, the Junior Heavyweight, the Lockdown, the Chicago Way and the MWE Championship. "With all due respect to champ and challengers" Says Alyx. "The eyes are on the final of the Battle For The Briefcase and the huge six vs six elimination match with the fate of the company on the line.
Tomorrow morning, one between Gian and Yulia should start looking for a new job. Who's going to win?
Zafar Khan is shown in the Millennium side of the arena in his wrestling gear making the last preparations before his Junior Heavyweight Championship match. He's applying the last of his wrist tape while Catarina Kelly, dressed in a gorgeous gown, watches him intently. The two of them are interrupted not long after by a rush of interviewers & reporters. They all hold up microphones plus recorders attempting to get any last minute answers from Khan before his title opportunity tonight. However they are cut off by a rather enraged Catarina who puts herself between them & Zafar.
Catarina Kelly:
Who the hell do you people think you are? Has he not done enough for all of you? Hasn't he? Nobody wants to answer that do they? You know for months I've seen Zafar set himself back countless times. He put so many of these people & his own peers on his back selflessly. Not a single person was more faithful to this brand than he was but he was just being taken advantage of by all of you! When he was struggling where were any of you to support him like he did for you? You stuck your noses in the air, hid in the corner, & expected him not to notice. That's all over now.
She crossed her arms as Zafar continued to let her speak without paying attention to anybody who tried speaking directly to him.
Catarina Kelly:
You now want to paint him as the bad guy because he is finally stepping up to take what he's been denied. You should all be praising him for realizing what a disaster this company has become & that he is giving all of himself to save it. Zafar Khan is a martyr. I am so sick of seeing him being belittled for everything he's been willing to do for the sport he loves. Well starting tonight his sacrifices will be turning into success. Riot will get at least one victory tonight when he once again puts a entire division on his back since none of you are wanting to step up.
Khan stands up & approaches Catarina but remains silent. He stands confidently behind her as she continues.
Catarina Kelly:
So pay close attention because in a few hours you'll be thanking him when I become the Mrs. Junior Heavyweight Champion. Get the hint? Now get the hell out of here. Go!
The reporters begin lowering their devices & slowly move along from the furious Catarina Kelly. Zafar Khan watches them leave with a smile on his face clearly satisfied by how Catarina handled herself. The two share a conversation the cameras can't pick up before the couple are joined by Chris Constantine Jr & various members of Team Millennium. The group attempts to share words with Zafar before his match before realizing the camera is still rolling. Chris makes a motion then the large hand of Dusty Douglas covers the lens at the scene comes to a close.

#1 Contendership For The Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Fatal 4-way Match
Tiny Des VS Archer Yeoman VS Kristina Spencer VS Nikki KnightFatal 4-way Match
The bell sounds & to everyone's surprise Kristina Spencer takes Nikki Knight out immediately with Hand Of The Wicked. Archer Yeomen is astonished at this act but is then blind sided himself by Tiny Des delivering her Tiny Hammer to the back of his head. Nikki & Archer roll out of the ring unconsciously as Spencer locks eyes with Des. The two women knowing the time is short to end this match early begin a exchange of forearm strikes trying to get the better of the other. Kristina goes for her Hand Of Wicked but Tiny ducks & counters with a spinning sole kick. Des attempts the Tiny Hammer but this time Kristina Spencer dodges at the last moment to avoid certain demise. There is another standoff but then both women are pulled out of the ring by a recovering Knight & Archer. Nikki hurls Spencer into the ring steps while Yeoman tosses Tiny into the barricade. They both now slide into the ring & have their moment together. Nikki Knight trash talks Archer Yeomen getting into his face before snatching his head for a attempted Knightmare however Yeoman overpowers her & escapes. He attempts a backslide but the pin attempt is broken up when Kristina & Tiny leap back into the ring to break the count. Nikki Knight tries to roll out of the ring but Des & Spencer grab her by the legs then drag her back inside the ring. Kristina whips her into the corner & immediately follows it up with a running dropkick to Knight's jaw. Tiny is right behind her with a running dropkick of her own to Nikki who staggers around in pain. Kristina Spencer whips her into the opposite corner attempting another running dropkick but is blind sided by Archer Yeoman who cuts her off with a spear that cuts her in half. Tiny Des tries for a dropkick to Nikki herself but Archer's run in allowed her to recover & hurl Des to the outside of the ring. She has no time to recover as Yeoman clotheslines both of them outside the ring as they fall on top of the recovering Tiny. The three competitors struggle to stand as they swing wildly at each other are stunned as Kristina Spencer takes all three of them out with a suicide dive. Spencer grabs Des & rolls her back into the ring for a pin attempt yet can only manage a near two count. Spencer measures her up for the heart punch but her hand is stopped at the last second by Nikki Knight who catches her in a jaw with a bicycle knee strike. Kristina stumbles into the corner & Knight immediately reacts with a Cannonball Crush. There is no time to recover as Archer Yeoman goes coast to coast catching both Nikki & Spencer with a dropkick. Kristina Spencer collapses outside the ring as Archer makes the pin on Nikki but it is interrupted by Tiny Des with a running senton. She refuses to quit & follows it up with a second then third running senton then makes the pin but Yeoman escapes at two. Nikki Knight grabs him around the waist & begins to slow lift him for the deadlift suplex but her head is taken off by Tiny Des with the Leveler. The momentum though continues as Knight continues through & drops Archer on top of his head with the german suplex. Des gets to her feet full of energy then catches the reeling Nikki Knight with Tiny Hammer! She makes the pin immediately but before the ref's hand could drop Kristina Spencer crashes on top of her & Nikki with A Wicked Good Time. Spencer quickly hurls Des back to the outside & pins Nikki Knight herself for the three count & the win. WINNER: Kriss Spencer BY: Pinfall (A Wicked Good Time) , 12:28 |
The backstage cameras find Jetpack as Penelope Kaplan and her partner Jet Blanchard are going over some paperwork (including boarding passes for Australia, naturally) and Penny grins as she looks up and notices, flashing a peace sign before she speaks with a vibrant tone.
Penny Kaplan:
You know, a lot of people would get up in front of the cameras right now, before such a huge match… and this is! HUGE. In fact. I mean, look. It’s a Tag Team Turmoil Match, and I’m sure that some of the teams in it won’t care to talk before it. We’ve faced a lot of them before now, couple of them several times. If this was a standard tag team match, I’d LOVE our chances.
She claps her hands animatedly as Jet chuckles, putting his hand on her shoulder as he leans forward toward the camera.
Jet Blanchard:
Love ‘em. Ya heard her.
Penny beams a smile and then she puts on a more serious expression, holding up a hand to add to that.
Penny Kaplan:
But you know, people were curious more on how we’d treat The Mighty Now Thrive after they went at us on Twitter and we were sort of surprised? Because we have always taken the competition seriously, we always go in to every match to win, and sometimes things happen - that’s the nature of it. We ain’t mad, or I’d have told every body, every day.
Penny nods as Jet tries his best to hide a grin then gives in and just does it.
Jet Blanchard:
It’s true, she would’ve. Penny gets feisty.
She shrugs and gives a cute ‘what can you do’ face before continuing on.
Penny Kaplan:
So sure, they’re probably still sore about the last loss, but at least they’ll be able to find us pretty darn quick, even with The HooligunnZ, The Steeles, The BreeTee Committee and Whiskey & Bourbon in the way.
Jet Blanchard:
I see what you did there, pretty slick Pen Pen.
The pair high five before Penny puts away all their paperwork into their travel bags and slaps her hands together quickly.
Penny Kaplan:
The fact is? This company can field a pretty big match like this and not every place can, even the best can have a thin tag division. Millennium doesn’t. It’s thick, thick as thieves.
Jet Blanchard:
See y’all out there.
Jet waves the camera off and it quickly cuts elsewhere.

Tag Team Turmoil Match
Jetpack VS The Mighty Now Thrive VS The HooligunnZ VS The Steeles VS The BreeTee Committee VS Whiskey & Bourbon
Lady Luck didn’t smile over the former MWE Tag Team Champions Jetpack who started this match, facing the ream of Kate and Teddy Steele. The Siren had a good start, obtaining a couple of near falls on Penny with quick pinning predicaments, catching her right on the temple with a spinning heel kick when she got up from a backslide pin attempt. Kate connected a springboard leg drop, tagging her husband in after Penny kicked out. The Steeles worked nicely together, keeping Kaplan away from her partner. Jet had to rush into the ring and make the save after a vertical suplex from Teddy into a diving crossbody from Kate. No matter how much punishment you put her through, you can never rule Penny out too soon. The multi time tag champion took Kate down with a lariat after ducking one from the former Lockdown Champion.Pumping herself up, drawing energy from the fans who never stopped showing her their support. Steele got up to her feet, only to get knocked down again by another lariat, and a third just for good measure. To Kate credit, she didn’t stay down, immediately charging once again at the former champion who caught her with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, reaching then her corner and making the tag to Jet, who leaped over the top rope and immediately ran toward Kate who was only now starting to pull herself up and connected with his shin to her skull. With no wasted motion he kept running toward Teddy and dropped him off the apron with a forearm to the jaw. He then climbed up to the top rope, waiting for Steele to rise to her feet and jumped off, connecting a beautiful tornado ddt that earned him a two count. Picking the opponent up, he tossed her in his corner, following with a running uppercut and making the tag to Penny. When Jet lifted Kate in an Argentine Rack position, the fans cheered in anticipation, knowing oh so well what was coming next. Penny dropped her down with a neckbreaker, completing the move they call May We All and made the cover, while Jet took out Teddy with a senton from the apron to the outside, preventing him from making the save. Rumchata Ayano: Introducing next, The Mighty Now Thrive! Null and Kid Terra sprinted down the ramp, the wolf boy sliding into the ring and starting to swing punches at Penny, while the Terranova Rockstar took it on Jet outside the ring, throwing the former champion against the barricade. There has been some animosity between the two teams, ever since their match on a Riot episode a few weeks ago. And the TMNT were out for revenge tonight, looking to avenge the, according to them, unfair loss. After resisting the initial outburst, Penny managed to slow down and contain the wolf boy, keeping him grounded with various submission holds aimed at slowly wearing him down. She dragged him close to her corner where, after a quick tag, she applied an abdominal stretch to the member of TMNT, while Jet kicked him hard in the abdominal section. Blanchard sticked to his partner's plan that worked well so far, taking out Null's greatest weapon, his speed, with some interesting mat wrestling sequences. He had the wolf boy now locked in a hammer lock, bending and twisting his arm behind his back. Null used his free arm to hit a couple of elbow shots that stunned Jet. Null then wrapped his arms around the opponent's head in an inverted facelock and sprinted at a neutral corner, running up the turnbuckle and jump back with a backflip, dropping Blanchard flat on his back with a Shiranui, making a cover for a count of two. A tag was made, making Kid Terra theegal man. The Mighty Now Thrive used the time at their disposal to the fullest, sending Jet in the corner and taking turns to hit him with clotheslines. After the Victory Lap, Kid made the cover, but it still wasn't enough to keep the former Tag Champ down. As he was getting back to his feet, Null kicked him hard on his chest, a flurry of strikes that left him short-winded and in a world of pain. Further damage was done when Kid Terral pushed him in his corner with a shotgun dropkick, following with a double knee to the face. Null took the tag and climbed to the top rope, diving off it after his partner suplexed Jet and landing on the former tag champ with a frog splash, only worth a two. Things changed drastically when Penny took the tag, entering the ring and bringing the fight to the wolf, performing a snap suplex after a series of chops. Null almost caught her off guard with a cradle to counter another suplex attempt, Penelope replied with a two and half count following a bulldog. It wasn’t too long after that she kicked Null in the stomach and dropped him with the Penelope Code (running corkscrew neckbreaker) for the pin. Rumchata Ayano:”Introducing next, Whiskey & Bourbon!!” The odd pairing of Robbie Bourbon and the Irish Mystery Misteireach didn’t seem to be on the same page anymore in recent times, having had some miscommunication and some issues with Robbie calling out his partner for being the weak link of the team. Will they find some common ground to go through this turmoil match and become contenders for the titles held by The Happy Few? The obstacle on their way couldn’t be any bigger, the former champions already beat them a few weeks ago. But, on the other hand. Jetpack had been wrestling for almost twenty minutes already, while the masked men’s team was fresh. Combine the better condition with the physical dominance and you get why Robbie was so easily manhandling Penny, tossing her around like a rag doll. The blonde girl tried a reaction, hitting the big man with some kicks to leg, but one big overhand chop from the Viceroy Of Vulgar frustrated her attempt for a comeback. He then sent her against the ropes and almost took her head off with a huge big boot, making a cover that got broke up by Jet just in time. Blanchard paid for his interference, getting punched right in the mush by a pissed off Robbie who then lifted the former champion over his head in a military press and tossed him unceremoniously out of the ring. Jet’s sacrifice bought Penny enough time to recover and club the big man from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. As Robb turned around and swung his arm, she ducked the right hook and connected with some stiff kicks to the legs, eventually taking the big man down to his knees with a low dropkick and following with a kick to the side of the head. The following cover attempt only resulted in a count of one, as Bourbon kicked out in one. Getting back to his feet, he walked right into a roundhouse kick from Penny, who then lifted herself to the top rope and jumped for a crossbody on the stunned opponent. Robbie caught her in mid air and turned her attack in a fallaway slam. Misteireach on the outside was literally begging him for the tag. He had been going at it for a few minutes already, to be honest. Shaking his head, Robbie reluctantly walked to his corner and allowed him to enter the ring. As soon as the Irish Mystery stepped between the ropes, Robbie stopped him to give him a word of advice. Then, out of nowhere, he lifted his partner and powerbombed him to the mat, leaving everyone, Jetpack included, shocked. As if nothing at all happened, the big man left the ring, disappearing backstage. You could tell by the look on her face that Penelope wasn’t too happy about this turn of events, but she had no choice but to make the cover and pick up the three count. Rumchata Ayano: Introducing next, the BreeTee Committee! For months at the top of the tag team division, Bree and Teagan always came up short when it came to win the titles. This never kept her down though, if anything it always pushed them to work harder to earn another chance. Teagan was the one starting the match for her team, taking on on a tired Penny with a series of suplexes, including a beautiful northern lights that earned her a count of two. Kaplan created herself an opening with a seated jawbreaker, taking the chance to try to get to her team partner for the tag. Crawling slowly, she was inches away from Jet when Bree, who took the tag from Teegs, grabbed her foot and pulled her back to the centre of the ring. Penny got back to her feet, hitting Smith with a right hand. Bree answered with another one, followed by a second shot from Penny. They began trading blows, a fight that Smith was destined to win if it wasn’t for a right knee to the gut that caught her off guard and doubled her over. PenPen went for another kick, this time the opponent blocked it and caught her foot. But before Bree could do anything about it, the former Tag Champion rocked her with an enziguri, this time reaching her corner and finally tagging Jet. Blanchard came in like a house on fire, taking down both his opponents and cleaning the ring. His agility was something Bree didn’t seem able to find a counter to, and he picked up a couple of near falls with a superkick and a tornado ddt. Despite being one of the greatest athletes in MWE, even Jet had his limit and eventually fatigue started catching up, allowing Bree to take back control. She thought she had him when she hit him with his backbreaker reps, but Penelope saved her teammate. Teagan entered the ring and took care of the former champion with a clothesline that dropped Penny over the top rope and out of the ring. Bree picked up her opponent and whipped him against the ropes, catching him with the pop up codebreaker called Bree Show scoring the win for her team. Rumchata Ayano: And the last entrance, Spectre and Trey Cole, the HooligunnZ! A lucky draw for the team of Spectre and Cole, a great opportunity to earn a title shot they wouldn’t want to miss. Determined to take this opportunity, they rushed to the ring sliding in and kicking Bree in the stomach and then hitting her with a spinning heel kick/spinning leg sweep combination. Teagan came to her partner’s rescue, but found the opponents ready with a double superkick that sent her back to the mat. Spectre made the cover on Bree, but he only obtained a two count. The match kept going at a frantic place, quick tags from the HooligunnZ who were doing an excellent job on keeping the initiative, not leaving their opponents any chance to build momentum. But eventually, Bree’s power allowed her to create herself an opening when, after being sent against the ropes by the opponent's, she ducked under their clothesline attempt and took them both down with a double one. Spectre was the first to get back on his feet, finding Smith waiting for him with a powerslam with his name written on it. Next was Cole who got hit with a big right hand and tossed away with a belly to belly suplex. Nothing was on Bree's way now, and she quickly reached her corner to make the tag to Teagan. The Irish girl threw Spectre out of the ring focusing on the legal man, Trey. She came at him with a series of kicks, followed with an Irish whip into the corner. She then charged in with a body splash, finding nothing but the corner as Cole stepped away and caught her with a schoolboy, rolling her over instead of going for the pin and kicking her on the head. Spectre, who was now the legal man, connected a german suplex, and followed up with a superkick and a shining punch, making the cover after the move he calls Click, Click, Boom to get only a two count. Teagan needed a tag, having been in the ring for a while now. The hardest part was to find an opening to reach her corner, especially considering the HooligunnZ weren’t giving her any break, keeping their high octane offense constant. Eventually Teegs found an opening when she managed, with a great feat of athleticism, to land on her feet after another german suplex attempt, quickly hitting the Die Fly with an amazing striking combination. First she hit him on the legs, then a couple of forearm shots to the jaw that rocked Spectre and let him exposed to a jumping knee strike. She then finished the sequence with a spinning heel kick, knocking the opponent down and rushing to her corner, where Bree was eager to get back into the match. She was only a few steps away when suddenly Smith disappeared, dragged down from the apron by Trey Cole. Stuck in the ring, Teegs turned around just in time to lift herself and stomped the charging opponent to the mat. Quickly, she went on the top rope, ready to hit her Tee For Two (630 corkscrew senton) on the seemingly unconscious opponent. Once again Trey made his presence felt, pushing Gallagher off the top rope and sending her crashing to the mat. He then ran around the ring and back to his corner, trying to spur his partner who eventually reached him and made the tag. He picked up Teagan and grabbed her arm, inviting his partner to do the same. They nodded at each other before driving their knees to her face for the Full Death Experience. The Irish girl seemed down, but to be sure she wouldn’t get up, he nailed her with his own 630 splash, the Comin In Hot. As he made the cover, Spectre made sure Bree couldn’t break the pin, taking her down as she was getting up on the outside with a beautiful Asai Moonsault. WINNER: The HooligunnZ BY: Pinfall (Comin In Hot), 28:20 |
The view cuts hard to a camera guy running down the backstage area until he stops at a locker room. The man behind the camera opens the door to reveal Katie Montes standing in front of a red chair, looking into a giant mirror. Both hands are on the vanity table immediately in front of the mirror. Montes looks extremely... well, distressed, to put it bluntly.
Katie Montes:
"You're gonna win the Lockdown Title. You're GOING to win the Lockdown Title."
Katie shoves everything on the right side of that table off quite violently and slams her hands on said table before yelling...
Katie Montes:
"WIN THE LOCKDOWN TITLE, GOD DAMN YOU! Because if you don't!?"
Montes takes a deep breath before continuing.
Katie Montes:
"You'll never hear the end of it. Ever. From anyone. All this talking up you've done... all the claims you've made that you're winning that title... if it goes to waste, you'll never be able to show your face on Twitter again, for damn sure. You'll never be able to show your face in a wrestling ring again, will you? Because all anyone'll say about you is "scum." People won't even entertain talking to you. They'll stick their nose up at you and not say a single word. They'll never give you so much as a like on someone else's tweet calling you a loser. If you lose this, that's the only recognition you'll ever get again. You've already lost the Quag Cup, you've already lost the Battle for the Briefcase, you lost the respect of nearly everyone who's ever given a shit about you a long time ago, you've lost just about every match you've had since returning... you have nothing positive to your name. In fact, the only thing to you name is a reputation as one of the worst human beings on the planet."
Katie sinks down to her knees, running her gloved hands through her platinum blonde locks. She's obviously extremely frustrated with herself. Losing in such grand fashions would do that to many. Then, a sudden look of realization crosses Katie's face as if a lightbulb just turned on in her head. Montes gets back to her feet and continues on.
Katie Montes:
"But therein lies your biggest strength. You know what people say about the ones with nothing to lose, right? They're the most dangerous. You're the most dangerous one in this match because you have nothing to your name. You're the most dangerous one on this roster... the world, because you're the hungriest to prove everyone wrong about you. No one wants you to win the Lockdown Title from Rie. No one wants you to win anything. No one wants you to do anything except quit. All anyone wants from you is to never see your face again unless it's for a public hanging for something you've never done. You know they'd air that on national television, too. Come see the public execution of Kathryne Montes, tonight 8-7-central on NBC! People would be down to watch that. It'd be the Super Bowl 52 of public executions, because everyone would watch it and everyone would love it because at least it was someone who "deserved" the big prize. That's how hated you are, Katie. And that's exactly why you need to win the Lockdown Title. No one has to like you, but people will have no choice but to respect your wrestling acumen if you win. If you keep winning after that. People will have no choice but to say that you're good at something. People will know that you have a use outside of joke fodder. People won't want you to actually die for existing."
Katie takes another breath, though nowhere near as deep.
Katie Montes:
"I think I've finally figured out what you are. You're not the storm. You're not even the house that the storm wipes away."
A brief pause.
Katie Montes:
"You're the graps devil."
Montes simply nods, in agreement with herself.
Katie Montes:
"Why should you care about what anyone expects of you? Fuck their expectations. Fuck what they want to have happen. Fuck them, and fuck you for not doing this earlier. Make those fans want to riot when you win. Make them throw garbage into the ring. Make them want to kill you for being good at what you do. Make them hate you even more. Make them mad. Take the shot and become a champion. Then be a symbol of excellence. Be the best Lockdown Champion that Millennium has ever seen... that wrestling has ever seen. Make people from all over the UNIVERSE want a shot at winning your title. Humble even the most assured ones. Shake even the most confident ones. Make even the iciest ones melt at your sheer presence. Mince no words about what you do. Make nobody doubt you anymore. Now go and shove your pitchfork up everyone's ass. Go win everything."
And out Katie goes to try and fulfill her self-made promise.
Katie Montes:
"You're gonna win the Lockdown Title. You're GOING to win the Lockdown Title."
Katie shoves everything on the right side of that table off quite violently and slams her hands on said table before yelling...

Grudge Match
Falls Count Anywhere
Brittany April VS SakiFalls Count Anywhere
The falls count anywhere match between Brittany April and Saki began with Saki jumping Brittany during her entrance with a fist to the back of the head. The former Extreme Champion kept on the former Cloud Gate Champion near the stage area, smacking April’s head off of the set a couple of times and went for an early pin only to get a one count. Saki continued her assault on Brittany with more right and left hands. Britty tried to get away from the early assault and get into the ring, but Saki continued to keep her out of the squared circle, pushing her chest first into the ring apron. The Xtreme Kawaii looked under the ring and produced a chair with a sadistic grin, but before she got a chance to use it, Brittany kicked out the leg of Saki and got back to her feet. The larger woman kicked the chair away and began to use her sizeable frame to stomp away on Saki. At one point, Saki was sent head first into the ring post, busting her open, but a grin formed on her face, freaking out Brittany April. Saki got back to her feet and speared April into the guardrails and grabbed her chair. She set it in front of her rival and dropkicked it right in Britty’s face! The Millennium fans in Mexico “OOOOHHHH’d” at the move as Saki grin and tasted her own blood. Britty threw the chair to the side and began to crawl around ringside. Saki once again had the advantage, and at one point, summoned enough strength to suplex Brittany into the ring steps! Another cover with a two count followed as Saki grinned and mention that Brittany asked for this playtime with Saki. Saki pulled out a lot of stuff from under the ring including a garbage can, a 2x4 and another chair. Brittany shoved her way back up and threw Saki into the guard rail herself now. Saki flung herself over into the crowd as Brittany saw the trash can and grabbed it, following her rival into the crowd. Saki turned around into a pretty weak shot from the hardcore novice. Saki laughed it off until Brittany threw it right at her face and dropkicked her. Both bodies made a thud as April took over, using elbows and right hands to send Saki backstage. Now backstage, Brittany tossed Saki into a wall and went for a cover but only got a one and a half count for her efforts. April sighs and tries to wipe off some of Saki’s blood onto her shirt. Brittany tried to put Saki into a submission but the Xtreme Kawaii reached into her into her skirt and produced a… FORK?! Britty tries to lock in a crossface but Saki stabbed her repeatedly in the head with a fork! Saki licks the fork before she took April’s head and dug it in there and giggled the entire time. She stopped as blood poured of Brittany’s forehead at a really disgusting rate. Saki took the time to lick Brittany blood before she spit it right back in her face! Groans could be heard from the crowd as Saki went for a cover but only got two again. Saki tried to get back on the advantage, but having her own blood spat on her woke up Brittany as she used her strength to lift up Saki and throw her into a window! The window didn’t break but just jiggled as Saki hit the floor violently. Brittany sized up her rival and went for a move but Saki used that momentum to send Brittany going through the glass! Shards went everywhere as Saki got on the window sill and jumped off for the Cotton Candy Kiss. It connected as Saki covered and got the win. WINNER: Saki BY: Pinfall(Cotton Candy Kiss), Time |
Once more we find ourselves facing a familiar sight. A room, no light save for that cast by a circle of candles. In the center of those candles, sitting on her knees, is Rie Shimizu. Her head is bowed, mouth moving in mutterings to individuals that cannot be seen and may not exist depending on your views. This is a sight we have seen many times, but there is one important difference to it.
Sitting in front of Rie, almost like an offering, is the Millennium Lockdown Championship.
The championship Rie had won a few weeks ago at Millennium XL, in a match against her friend Rebecca Saint and Rebecca’s enemy Duke Andrews. This was Rie’s first championship, but it was obvious she was focusing on...others to thank first.
A whispered word from off-screen, the voice of Homare Kato speaking her name, causes her to finally look up, seeing the camera and a small smile immediately cross her face and she speaks.
Homare Kato:
“I did not know if I would ever know this feeling.”
She sits a moment, looking at the belt, before continuing.
Homare Kato:
“The feeling of finally achieving that which every wrestler strives for when they set out. To become a champion. There was a stretch of time here, dealing with Constantine and with Saki and LaGarde...that I started to wonder if that day would ever come for me. That, perhaps, I was not quite enough to manage an accomplishment like that.”
She reaches forward, picking up the Lockdown championship and draping it across her waist, one hand idly running over it as she goes on.
Homare Kato:
“But that all changed. Against my friend and Andrews, I found that extra piece that pushed me ahead to this. To achieving a championship. I am very fortunate, I know. Many struggle for their entire careers without managing to win one. My status in the world of wrestling has changed, and I must now be someone more than I have been.”
Another pause as she considers things, before continuing again.
Homare Kato:
“I now represent many things. I represent the company, Millennium Wrestling. I represent the fans that tune in or come to the shows, who deserve to see the best wrestling. I represent those that have held this belt before me, to continue the legacy they built. I represent those that believe in me, to not let them down.”
She then looks upwards, towards something else.
Homare Kato:
“And I represent those that are gone, who I have performed all this time in the name of. Who I have tried to keep in my heart, to bring some enjoyment to in their long time beyond. Those that have blessed me with their favor, and those that have not. I only want to succeed for them, to give them entertainment in their afterlife, to let them know there is someone here that thinks of them still. For them, and everyone else, I must be beyond what I was. I must be worthy of being a champion.”
Another pause.
Homare Kato:
“And that journey begins tonight, against Katie Montes.”
She stops, seeming to try to find the right words, finally letting out a sigh as she goes on in a sort of tired tone.
Homare Kato:
“I don’t understand, really. That nonsense on Twitter after the match with Rebecca. Lashing out like that. Throwing accusations of trying to ruin things for you, what a joke, who are you to do that to others? But, I am not angry over that. Confused, yes, but I do not go to the ring tonight in anger.”
A pause, as she looks to the camera with a determined look crossing her face as she states something clearly.
Homare Kato:
“I go to the ring to defeat you.”
She stands up then, holding the championship close to her body, putting it around her waist as she goes on.
Homare Kato:
“No matter what I think of you or the things you have said to me, I cannot spend a second overlooking you. I must treat you as I would treat anyone else coming for my championship. You are a threat that must be defeated. I cannot let my championship reign end on my first defense, that would be me making a mockery of everything I have endured, everything I have worked for, and everyone that has put their faith into me. I have to be better than I was before, I have to surpass the Rie that existed before my name was placed onto this championship, and that must begin with you, Katie. Tonight, I have to defeat you. Simple as.”
She pauses again, looking up.
Homare Kato:
“I cannot let down the living or the dead, not now.”
And with that she faces the camera again, that determined look on her face, the Lockdown championship wrapped around her waist. She gives a bow to the camera, and when she stands up again she speaks her final words before it was time.
Homare Kato:
“To everyone watching, whether here or beyond, that believes in me. Thank you. I will strive, forever, to be worthy of that.”
And with that she takes a step back, over the candles, stepping outside of the circle. Another step back, and Rie vanishes into the darkness beyond. Only the candles and the presence of Kato are left. His words are rather prideful when he speaks.
Homare Kato:
The change that has come over her in the weeks since she’s won that championship, I wish you could have seen it. The fire inside of her that it has stoked. This passionate need to live up to it all, to be worthy of the place she now has here. It does my heart so well to see her like that. Shining so brightly, every moment spent preparing herself. I do not need to say how proud I am of her. She knows, I am sure.
A chuckle.
Homare Kato:
And I hope you will feel that pride too, when you see her perform tonight, this passionate and fired up Rie. The fruits of her labor ripened, but now comes an even more laborious time. Winning a championship is one thing...but holding onto it is an entirely different thing. We shall see, together, where that takes her, what new heights it brings out of her. It should be quite the sight. And as we view that together, I hope that the departed will bless all who are worthy...so they may be ready for their own trials.
And with that the candles go out, leaving the room bathed in a darkness that this time feels rather...comfortable, and fulfilled.

Lockdown Championship Match
Rie's Rules
Rie Shimizu (c) VS Katie MontesRie's Rules
The match begins with Montes attempting to initiate a tie up with Rie Shimizu, but she uses her reach advantage early and stuck her foot out, backing Katie Montes up. Katie Montes backs up and looks for a strategy or plan of attack, but it's now Rie Shimizu's turn to push the pace as Rie Shimizu extends her arm and knocks Katie Montes to the mat with a clothesline. Katie Montes bounces back to her feet quickly however, showing her tenacity and passion to compete. She goes for a clothesline of her own but Rie Shimizu ducks it. Katie Montes then kicks the shin of Rie Shimizu causing them to scream in pain. A second kick brings out more of the same as Rie Shimizu can't hold back her scream. Finally, a third shin kick brings Rie Shimizu to her knees. Katie Montes then capitalizes with their star in the night (whisper in the wind) to Rie Shimizu. Katie goes for the cover and gets a two count. Katie Montes keeps Rie Shimizu down with measured punches while holding her head before knocking Rie Shimizu down with a stiff kick to the back of the head. After Rie Shimizu kicks out, Katie Montes goes to grapple Rie Shimizu when she takes Katie Montes with a double leg takedown and gives out rights and lefts to Katie forcing her to cover up. Rie does get back up and lands her spinning back kick. Then as she gets Katie Montes ready for the flash nap (jumping spinning knee strike) but Katie Montes narrowly avoids it and sends Rie Shimizu into the ropes with their elbow smash but miss their follow-up star in the night (whisper in the wind) as Rie Shimizu catches them with a surprise uppercut and then a lariat to the back of the head. Rie Shimizu hooks Katie ’s leg but they kick out at a near three count. Katie Montes mounts Rie Shimizu and begins firing off punches to her head. Rie Shimizu covers up for the duration of the attack as Katie Montes relentlessly swings away, connecting with a good share of the punches. Rie Shimizu makes it to her knees again, slowly, and is hit, this time, by shock kick (springboard roundhouse kick) after Hokuto No Ken. The referee counts the fall but Rie Shimizu hangs on by kicking out at two and a quarter. Katie Montes performs spinning wheel kick followed by their Roundabout (Dragonrana) again and makes a cover! Rie Shimizu kicks out at two once again. Katie Montes begins showing signs of frustration, wondering what could put Rie Shimizu away. She goes for an elbow drop but misses as Rie Shimizu rolls out of the way. Rie Shimizu gets back to her feet, staring at Katie Montes who begins stirring.. Rie Shimizu slides behind Katie Montes and grabs her arm, tucking it behind her back. She then lifts Katie Montes up and drops her down with a back suplex, causing all of her weight to drop on that arm that was tucked behind her. Eventually, Rie Shimizu is able to take full control of the match, even then she is forced to wear Katie down with chops and stomps as a near fall proves not enough. Montes is trading blow for blow with Rie Shimizu, the ending comes when Rie Shimizu drives her knee into the ribs of Katie Montes and her elbow into the back of her opponent’s neck, forcing her down. Rie Shimizu then strikes Katie Montes with a big uppercut while on the ropes that sets up their flash nap (jumping spinning knee strike). After Rie Shimizu finishes Katie Montes with their spirit tour they finally hear the bell. WINNER: Rie Shimizu (STILL CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Flash Nap), 11:32 |
The scene cuts to backstage where Adam Webb is getting ready for his championship match later tonight. His girlfriend, Wren Sweet sees the camera and places her hand on his shoulder. Adam looks up and smiles before walking over to the camera.
Adam Webb:
I’m feeling good about tonight, damn good in fact. You see, I came scary close to winning that Junior Heavyweight Championship a few times now but I have gotten in my own way. But tonight? I’m feeling it. Corey? He came in like a mad freight train but ran outta gas quick. He is exactly where I want him and that’s why I’m leaving as the champion tonight.
He shakes his head and chuckles.
Adam Webb:
Despite What Kahn thinks. The guy is scared of me, knows he can’t beat me and that’s why instead of facing me like a man? He kicked me in the crotch. Oh he celebrated like he won something but I showed I’m better and that I have the win over him. He may want to toss out how I won’t face him in a no disqualification match. Why would I go into a match when all he’s going to do is use underhanded tactics to try to win? Sometimes I think Khans lights are on but nobody's home.
He sighs and smiles again to the camera.
Adam Tonight is my night guys. That championship is coming home with me.

Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Triple Threat
Corey Grimes (c) VS Adam Webb VS Zafar KhanTriple Threat
The match began with the three men circling the ring, waiting for the others to strike first. It was the Champion, Grimes himself, to get tired of waiting around and make the first move. He kicked Khan in the stomach, just to turn around and be met with a Pele Kick from Webb, a move Grimes is by no means unfamiliar with. Grimes toppled over Khan, who decided he may be able to use this to advantage and went for the cover. It only took a one count until Webb broke it up, however. Rising to his feet, Khan and Webb traded a series of blows before Khan managed to win the brief scuffle with a well-placed Superkick. This time he picked up a two count, but thanks to Grimes, Khan wasn’t ready to celebrate victory yet. Now, it was Grimes’ turn to trade blows with Khan, however once again, it was Khan to win the fight with a swift Ripcord Knee Strike. Another cover, another two count. Khan had to rethink his strategy, and now with Webb making way to his feet, he didn’t have much time. As Khan charged towards Webb, Webb turned it into a quick, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it suplex. He then pulled Khan up for another, however before he could make the third, resulting in the Three Amigos, Grimes was back in the fold with a Flying Knee Kick, that sent Khan to the outside, and Webb to the canvas. Grimes went for the cover, but only managed a two count. Grimes, though frustrated, knew in order to successfully defend his championship, he needed to keep up the momentum. Thus, he pulled Webb to his feet, and hit him with the Snap Ya Neck. However, straight after, Khan entered the ring, and hit Grimes with the Reverse Hurricanrana that sent him rolling to the outside. Khan went for the cover on Webb, and in the process, rested his feet on the second rope for leverage. Though even then, and despite the referee not taking notice of Khan’s blatant disregard for wrestling etiquette, Webb kicked out after two. Khan, getting desperate at this point, backed into the corner, where he waited for Webb to rise. And as he did, Khan came at him with The Carter, however Webb, somehow using a sixth sense was able to duck out of the way, before taking Khan by the forearm and irish whipping him towards the ropes. Khan, instead of bouncing back, leaped into the air, springboarding off the ropes and performing an amazing backflip, where he landed on his feet right behind Webb. Khan dropped down, taking Webb’s thigh with him, and pulling him into a roll-up. It wasn’t until a near three count when the referee noticed Khan’s grasp on Webb’s tights, thus causing the pinfall to be discontinued. Khan battled the referee’s decision, claiming that under triple threat rules, pulling of the tights shouldn’t matter, but the referee’s decision is final and Khan’s near pinfall was made redundant. As an angered Khan turned around, he was nailed with a sudden Kip-Up Hurricanrana by Webb, who immediately went for the cover. However, as soon as he got the one count, he looked up to notice the Champion, Corey Grimes, flying off the top turnbuckle ready to hit a 450 Splash. Webb quickly evaded the attack, but it connected with Khan, whose muscles jolted upon impact. Grimes knew it wasn’t over though, as Webb had fled from the attack, so he got back up to his feet, only to be met with a perfectly executed Wicked Webs. Webb made the cover, and picked up the three count. WINNER: Adam Webb BY: Pinfall (12:42}, Time |
The show cuts backstage to where Annie Zellor and Mary-Jane McCracken are standing together in their locker room. The Chicago Way champion isn’t dressed in her usual attire though, and has instead opted to wear her Moondog clothing - jeans and a white sleeveless tee - with one belt wrapped around her waist, and the Seattle Pro tag team title slung over one shoulder. Noticeable in its absence is the HKW Bloodlust title, which is now in the possession of Brytain Rollins.
Annie Zellor:
Time to put up or shut up, Lucie!
The champion brags with a wry smirk on her face.
Annie Zellor:
You were so quick to cry foul after The Great White North. Telling everybody how I ’screwed’ you. How I ’cheated’ you--
She throws up the air quotes and rolls her eyes with each derogatory term. Annie then pats the belt around her waist as she continues.
Annie Zellor:
--outta this. How I stopped you from becoming the first ever Chicago Way Champion. But since then? Not so much, huh? So much so you couldn’t even get the courage to face me in that tables match a few weeks ago.
Annie pauses, looking to Mary-Jane as the two share a laugh together.
Annie Zellor:
Such a shame. But here’s the thing, Lucie. And listen up, ‘cause I’m only gonna say this once. Tonight, just like I did at the Great White North, just like the Tenacious Wrecking Crew did in that tag match a coupla weeks ago...tonight I’m walking outta Viva La Revolucion as the winner! ‘Cause I’ve tried to light a fire under your butt, Lucie. I’ve tried to rekindle whatever that was you showed way back when you first confronted me!
She shakes her head.
Annie Zellor:
But I’m not sure you’ve got it in you, kiddo. One things for sure, though, if you’re gonna play with fire, then you’re gonna get burned.
With that, Annie waves good-bye to the camera, before she and Mary-Jane walk out of shot.

The scene cuts backstage where the door of Gian’s office is about a foot open. There is yelling inside and the camera moves up and comes into view of what’s going on. Megan Rydell is standing in front of Gian, and she isn’t happy at all.
Megan Rydell:
I don’t care about anyone else on the team and what’s fair to them. I’m Megan Rydell, I’m the star of Millennium! Everyone knows it, especially you! You saw how other companies treated me and you told me that if you had me on your roster? You’d give me what I deserve, and we both know that it’s a shot at the Millennium Championship. So stop fucking around.
Gian goes to speak but Megan cuts him off.
Megan Rydell:
No! I’ve heard enough of your bullshit and rhetoric over the last year. You’re a smooth talker, Gian, I get it. So save it for some other bright eyed girl, because I won’t fall for it. After tonight? After I lead your team to victory? I want my title shot and I don’t care about anyone else on the team getting a reward as well. Their reward is getting to work with me, got it? Good.
Meg turns to walk out of the office and she sees the camera. Normally she would glare but this time? She gave the camera a sly grin before pushing past it and walking away. Gian sees the camera and gets up and shuts the door to his office before the scene fades away.

Chicago Way Championship Match
Flaming Tables Match
Annie Zellor (c) VS Lucie CallawayFlaming Tables Match
Zellor shocked MWE when she showed up in the gauntlet match for the vacant Chicago Way Championship, entering last and snatch the title from around the waist of the young up and comer Lucie Callaway. Her signing with the green brand was controversial to say the least, and Annie didn't help her case when she refused to fight the pink haired girl in a table match, only to choose the same stipulation, adding some "fire" to it after beating Lucie and her sister Brytain Rollins in a tag match a week later. The match started with Annie playing the most classic of the mind games, leaving the ring as soon as Lucie stepped toward her. Callaway followed her outside and started chasing her around the ring, until Mary Jane McCraker stepped in front of the eighteen years old, stopping her run. The oldest trick in the book, but still worked on the very emotions driven Lucie who got surprised by a suicide dive from Annie. It didn't take long for this match to get brutal, both ladies taking advantage of the lack of rules and count out to use the surrounding environment to punish the opponent. With an Irish whip, Lucie sent Annie crashing against the steel steps with an Irish whip. Despite the pain from hitting her lower back against the steps, the Chicago Way Champion had the alertness to raise raise her boot to counter the charging opponent. Before Callaway could recover, Annie connected with an elbow to jaw, applying a front facelock right after. Taking a step forward, the champ lifted her challenger to suplex her on the steps, but Lucie was able to use her weight to counter the move and connect with one of her own, slamming Zellor on the floor. She then picked her up and slammed her face on the apron a few times, before rolling the Chicago Way champion back into the ring. Lucie then grabbed one of the many tables scattered around the ring and set it up, adjacent to the apron. Next step was pouring the flammable liquid all over it and light it up, but the last passage was frustrated by MJ distracting the young rookie once again. This gave Annie enough time to recover and hit the unaware Callaway with a baseball slide. The champion waited inside the ring for the opponent to climb up to the apron and immediately stunned her with a stiff forearm shot, grinding her face on the top rope as she dragged her right in front of the table Lucie herself set up earlier. Annie smirked at her valet who lit it up. The Chicago Way Champion took a moment to soak in the loud boos of the fans before hitting Lucie with a superkick destined to send her crashing through the table, if it wasn’t for the young girl somehow holding desperately on the ropes. Annie was already tasting victory and when she saw the opponent still standing, although in a very dangerous spot, the look of disappointment was clear on her face. Nonetheless, she went to finish her off, but Lucie ducked the right hand, driving her shoulder in the opponent’s mid section and, after grabbing her by the air, dragging her between the ropes and on the apron. The two competitors were now fighting on the edge of the ring, the flaming table dangerously close. Nonetheless, they started trading blows keeping the fans on the edge of their seats now cheering whenever Lucie seemed to be getting the upper hand or booing when the momentum shifted back on Annie’s side. And the chants for the challenger became deafening when Zellor vacillated, seemingly stunned after a headbutt from Luce, who was now one shot away from winning the first title of her career. Mary Jane McCraken realized it as well, quickly grabbing one of the fire extinguishers placed in the proximity for safety reasons and used it on the table. When Lucie finally knocked the champion off the apron with a superkick that sent her crashing through the table, she thought she had the match won. Imagine her disappointment when the referee told her that the table was no longer on fire, and therefore the match was not over yet. The Mexican fans were livid, chanting all sort of insults to MJ and Annie, who once again dodged the bullet. As the match continued, not only Annie recovered from the damage taken in the first part of the match, but she got back in control after removing the protective pad from the turnbuckle and sending Lucie head first against it. Suplexes, a facebreaker ddt, the Sparklebutt a ripcord elbow smash… Zellor was pulling every move in her arsenal to tear apart the young competitor in order to eventually put her through the table and retain the title. The Sparkle Princess Special (540 Kick) that knocked down Lucie seemed to be the prelude of the end for Lucie. Smiling despite the boos, Annie left the ring and set up another table, lighting it up and slowly climbing up on the apron. Luce was using the ropes to help herself up, still clearly stunned from the kick. A quick look behind her shoulders and you could read Annie’s intention to suplex the opponent to the outside. Counting the young and resourceful opponent out too soon, especially considering who trained her, was a mistake Annie paid for. Stealing a page from Syn, Lucie pulled an ace off her sleeves in the form of the Black Asian Mist, blinding the Chicago Way champion. Without thinking twice, the pink haired girl hit the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and launched herself against Annie with a suicide spear through the ropes, driving her through the table. The bell rang, the fans started cheering even before the referee, reminiscent of Hawk vs Yang at Dark Web consulting a replay just to be sure he was making the right call, declared Callaway as the winner and new Chicago Way champion. WINNER: Lucie Callaway BY: Table Breaking, 14:09 |
Backstage now and Melissa Reeves is on standby. She's wearing her full ring ring gear and a Kelsey Spencer shirt, and holds her phone in one hand a microphone in the other. Sunglasses obscure a large part of her face.
Melissa Reeves:
So here we are, another big event and another big match for me. I've been getting questions about this all day long. Questions about how I feel about this.
She reads her phone.
Melissa Reeves:
First of all, I have a lot of respect for Kelsey Spencer. Not that hollow respect that people claim to have but they don't mean it, no...the real deal. I've seen her struggle, I've seen her rise and soldier on no matter what. I've seen her triumph, I've seen her do it all. But do you know one thing nobody's ever seen her do? Beat me.
Reeves shrugs.
Melissa Reeves:
That's because she never has...and after tonight, that will still be true. See, for all of her achievements - and they are numerous - she just isn't on my level. Not yet, if ever. Don't get this twisted, that's not me downplaying her. Hell, in any other circumstance I'd absolutely support her, but this isn't any other circumstance. This is her against me and I can't afford for anyone to get in my way again.
She sighs.
Melissa Reeves:
I already let that happen with Hawk, with van Beek. Hell, SERO himself. But for all the accusation and all of the nonsense, I'm right back here again, ready to battle for the top title here in Millennium. You see...
She half smiles, pocketing her phone.
Melissa Reeves:
...I once said that this company neither wants nor needs a silent champion, and that's still true. I don't care who holds the title - SERO, Nessa, even Chris - none were up to scratch for what needs to be done. None. Notice that I'm not going at one specifically. Notice that I'm not claiming they're bad in the ring. They just aren't the people to lead this company now, then, or ever. Mel Reeves doesn't come out here and downplay her opponents, you see. No, Mel Reeves says exactly what she thinks - and if they dislike that? That's their problem.
She licks across her lip, smirking.
Melissa Reeves:
If they - or anyone - dislikes what I have to say then they should step up. But they don't. They never do. Here, Underground, wherever I am it's the same thing. People wanting to play games and politics. People being unwilling to just stand up for themselves without hiding like cowards behind someone else's protection. Nobody protects me. I hide from nothing. I stand on my own merit and, despite the haters, I weather any storm. I've been doing this for a long time, I'll be doing it for a long time to come. Tonight is just another step in my journey, and it's one that'll see me move back in the right direction.
She laughs now.
Melissa Reeves:
And guess what? As with all my chances, I've EARNED this. I've FOUGHT for this. I've put in the work needed to be where I am and nobody, NOBODY can claim otherwise. After tonight, they won't be able to downplay me. I'll control the briefcase and with it, the game. I'll dictate the rules, I'll be the one playing how I want. If I was our esteemed champion, I'd certainly be afraid right now. The advantage of van Beek in his corner is about to be nullified entirely. That is, of course, assuming he can even defeat Bethany. Who knows, maybe she'll be the one to end his streak and uncrown him. Won't matter who walks out champion either way, because they'll simply be the name that goes before mine on the list of champions.
She smirks again.
Melissa Reeves:
Hell. Maybe I'll even make sure she wins. Who knows.
The smirk widens into more of a grin as she steps away, cockily walking out of camera shot to end the segment.

NVR World Championship Match
A.J. Morales VS SpiderAs A.J. hands over his NVR World Championship he literally can’t look away as the referee holds it high overhead, showing the gold being contested in this match tonight. His challenger, known to most wrestling fans as Spider watches this, her eyes going to the belt as well but then focusing sharply on A.J. Morales. The referee hands the belt down and calls for the bell, but A.J. stands in the center of the ring and he extends his hands out towards the rowdy fans in the Mexico City Arena, and they do not disappoint, fervently it seems behind Morales no matter how popular Spider is as well. A chant rises up: Chiquitibum a la bim bom ba, chiquitiboom a la bim bom ba, a la bio, a la bao, a la bim bom ba, Mexico Mexico, Rah rah rah!!! Morales grins and claps along as Spider lightly shakes her head, and then the action in this match explodes! A fast Jump kick from Morales smacks Spider back and she reels, feeling for the rope behind her. But as A.J. closes in for a Cactus Clothesline Spider drops and slides between his feet and pops up behind him just enough for a fast Schoolboy, putting all her weight on him as the referee drops to count! A two count as Morales explodes out of the roll up, a look of shock on his face! He rakes his hands through his blond streaked hair as Spider pops up and holds her fingers mere centimeters apart! The fans cheer, appreciating the sass but still supporting A.J. as he closes in with the wily Spider again. One Exploder Suplex later and Morales is in the driver’s seat of the match, an El DiaBlade (Leaping clothesline) getting him a two count of his own but Spider’s got her boot on the ropes! He starts to get up to give her the same sass and NO! INSIDE CRADLE! Once again Morales breaks free and the fans blow up. Two close calls and he’s clearly wary of Spider, trying to stay in control of the match but she pops off with a Roundhouse Kick and as he staggers, DDT! It’s a solid hit, but A.J. bounces up from the mat! Spider slides around him and pops straight up in the air, landing on his shoulders for a smooth Hurricanrana! She grapples with Morales and manages to lock on a Kneebar! It’s looking bad for A.J., the referee asking him if he wants to submit, and while he’s clearly in pain he shakes his head rapidly, no no. He reaches for the ropes, so close but not quite! Spider cranks on the Kneebar, Morales yells out but the pain seems to motivate him and he reaches the ropes! The referee warns Spider to release the hold, but she holds on for the maximum amount she can without being DQ’d! Morales is clearly hurting, using the ropes to pull himself to his feet and he holds on to the top ropes as he tests his leg. Gingerly, but still able he keeps his eyes on Spider but still eats a Flying clothesline that almost sends them over the top rope! He hangs on though and averts disaster, pushing away from the ropes and Spider! She backs up and slams into his chest and gut with her knees and then shoots to the far side of the ring to come running back at full speed looking for her Spiderbite to put Morales down for good but NO! NO! A.J. gets his leg up and boots her back and then runs right out of the ropes to hit Spider right in the jaw with the Liberator (Superman punch)! She’s dazed and he rolls her up, holding her in the pin for the count of three! A.J. Morales retains the NVR World Championship, limping around the ring as the referee hands him his title belt but he gives a nod of respect to Spider as she comes back to her feet, she did after all almost get him! WINNER: AJ Morales (STILL CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Liberator), Time |
Cameras cut to a shot of Kelsey Spencer, who’s standing against a white brick wall in the backstage area of the Mexico City Arena. The fans let out a loud cheer at the sight of one of their favourites, who’s fresh of a big win against her former tag team partner and best friend, Rebecca Saint, in a brutal Steel Cage Match last night. Her arms and face show the scars of their battle, covered in various bumps and bruises.
She flashes a grin and stares deep into the camera.
Kelsey Spencer:
Tonight’s the night. Tonight’s the night where this winding journey I’ve been on for months finally reaches its conclusion. Tonight’s the night where we finally get the answer to the question, 'Does Kelsey Spencer have what it takes to get it done when it counts?' Will this finally be my crowning moment? Or will it end in yet another disheartening loss?
It’s been a wild ride getting here, and there were so many moments where I thought I would be down and out. So many opponents I thought had my number in this tournament. Brittany April, Victoria Salinas, Rebecca Saint… Through it all, I’ve persevered to stand here before you as one of the finalists in Battle For The Briefcase, and one of the individuals who will step between those ropes to compete for that coveted prize in a few short moments.
Fans cheer, and Spencer nods.
Kelsey Spencer:
Melissa Reeves is someone I have a tremendous amount of respect for. She's someone that I've wanted to face for a very long time, and from that first moment when I walked in the door, I knew in my gut that we'd have our chance to go one-on-one someday. Little did I know it'd come this soon, with so much on the line. I can respect Melissa's desire to win this match tonight. I can. She wants what everyone in Millennium Wrestling wants; to become the MWE Champion. Notice that the key phrase there is 'what everyone wants', because I wanna be champion, too. The MWE Champion faces the toughest challenges from the most skilled opponents on both Millennium and Riot, which has me practically salivating at the thought. When two top athletes are so passionate in what they do, and driven to achieve their goals to this extent, something's gotta give way. This battle with Melissa Reeves can only have one winner; one winner who will be holding that briefcase up high. It's gonna come down to who wants it the most. Who's hungrier. And friends, there's no-one in this world who's hungrier than me.
She motions to the bruises on her face.
Kelsey Spencer:
Yeah, I’m not in the best of shape right now, as I’m sure you can tell. I feel like I’ve been run over by a bus, and yet, I’m staring down a highly physical demanding match against an incredibly talented opponent. Three Stages of Hell … just the name should be enough to indicate how physically, mentally and emotionally draining this stipulation is. Add in the fact that Melissa and I each went through Steel Cage Matches just last night and you’ll be left scratching your head, wondering how any human being can find the energy to keep going.
I’ll often have fans come up to me at shows and ask me stuff like that. “How do you always find the energy to keep going?” And the answer, I always tell them, is you.
She points directly at the camera.
Kelsey Spencer:
It’s you, the fans. When I see your signs, when I hear you call my name … when I feel your passion and desire for me to succeed, it pushes me forward. When I feel like I’m spent and I’ve got nothing left, it’s your support that drives me to give it a little more. When I’m in the ring and I’m at that point where I can’t feel my legs anymore, it’s your energy that gives me the will to rise to my feet. You’re more than fans of pro wrestling to me. You’re my power, you’re my inspiration … you’re my friends, you’re my family. And as I stare down what’s likely to be my toughest challenge to date, I have a favour to ask of you.
Her tone lowers as she looks deep into the camera lens, indicating her sincerity as she makes a plea to the fans watching at home.
Kelsey Spencer:
I want you to get up real close to your TV screen. To your laptop, your smart device. And I want you to look at me. Look in my eyes. Connect with me.
The cameraman seemingly takes this cue to zoom in on the young wrestler’s face to assist in her request.
Kelsey Spencer:
Can you see that burning passion I have for professional wrestling? Can you feel the unbridled desire I have to make it to the top? I want you to take that feeling, ball it up and hold it inside you. Store it safely and keep it for a moment when I’ll need it. You’ll know when the time is right, trust me. And when that time does come, I want you to throw it back to me! Shout at the top of your voice! Let everything out, and to hell with whoever’s listening!
This unbridled passion has the fans fired up, chanting Spencer’s name.
Kelsey Spencer:
It’s been a long road, my friends, I know. A real emotional rollercoaster. I feel the way you believe in me. Time after time, you chant my name, you cheer … you’re in my corner. I’ve come so close to success, only to let you down and for that, all I can do is tell you I’m sorry. I know what it’s like to live vicariously through your favourite wrestlers. I myself did the very same thing when I was a kid, just getting into wrestling, I lived vicariously through my hero, Ricky Fable. I know that for many of you fans - especially some of the younger ones - I am your favourite wrestler. You feel a rush when your favourites succeed, and when they don’t? You experience that crushing, deflating feeling along with them.
I understand it hasn’t been easy to watch me have the brass ring in my reach and see it slip through my fingertips again and again.
She sighs.
Kelsey Spencer:
I can’t promise you I’ll win tonight. I can’t get your hopes sky high … not when the risk of letting you down is still there. Full disclosure, that possibility is right there in the back of my mind. When you’ve come so close so many times, only to let it slip through your fingers, you can’t help but think to yourself, “What if…?” But, that’s not gonna keep me from fighting Melissa tonight with everything I’ve got.
A loud cheer from the live audience; a cheer that seems to fire Spencer up once again.
Kelsey Spencer:
Can you feel that? Can you sense the electricity in the air? That’s exactly what I’ve been talking about! I feel your energy, and I hope you can feel my energy as it leaves my body and pulsates through you. Hold onto that feeling as I make this vow to you.
Her eyes narrow as her voice lowers, her gaze piercing the camera as it zooms in.
Kelsey Spencer:
I’m walking into that ring tonight with no objective other than winning that briefcase. I’m gonna leave it all in the ring! I’ll lay everything on the line! My heart, my soul… Nothing is gonna be left in reserve, because that’s what it takes to make it in Millennium Wrestling! That’s what it takes to win that briefcase!
I’ve been through countless Stages of Hell on the road to get here at Viva La Revolucion … I can handle three more. With tens of thousands of passionate wrestling fans behind me, I’ll find the strength I need to do it! My friends - my brothers and sisters - tonight is the night we fight to make our dreams a reality!
She flashes a grin and stares deep into the camera.

Battle For The Briefcase Match
Final: Three Stages Of Hell
Stage 1: Hardcore
Stage 2: Submission
Stage 3: Ladder Match
Melissa Reeves VS Kelsey SpencerFinal: Three Stages Of Hell
Stage 1: Hardcore
Stage 2: Submission
Stage 3: Ladder Match
If the MWE Championship is the ultimate goal for every competitor in the company, the Briefcase is a close second, a golden ticket to the most coveted prize of them all. Kelsey Spencer and Melissa Reeves went through a lot already to be here tonight, but even the Cage Match they endured last night must look like a walk in the park compared to the Three Stages Of Hell that was awaiting for them here in Mexico City. Three matches in one, each competitor allowed to choose a stipulation while the third, or actually the first one, decided by management: After a quick handshake, the first part of the match was underway. Kelsey and Mel locked up, trying to prevail against the opponent in a test of strength, the former Liberty Champion pushed the Blue Thunder in the corner, where Kelsey was quick to switch position and forcing Reeves with her back against the ropes, landing a quick knife edge chop, followed by the WOOOOO of the fans. A couple more for good measure and then Kelsey started with the heavy ones, connecting five consecutive european uppercuts that left Reeves stunned in the corner. Taking a few steps back, Spencer charged in and jumped at the opponent, tossing her back to the center of the ring with a monkey flip. Showing great athleticism, Melissa was able to land on her feet and hit the opponent with a reverse side kick that doubled her over, allowing the Reaver to plant her with a snap ddt. The first pinfall attempt of this match saw Kelsey kicking out in one. It was soon after that weapons came into play in this match, thanks to Melissa Reeves introducing a steel chair. Wielding it over the laying opponent who was getting up to her feet after a belly to belly suplex, Reeves hesitated a moment before swinging it across Kel’s back. Maybe that was the reason why she managed to roll to the side, dodging the shot. With a swift movement of her leg, Spencer kicked the chair away from Mel’s grasp, placing her head under her chin as she stood up and quickly dropping on her knees for a jawbreaker. With the opponent down, Kelsey performed a cartwheel, landing with a legdrop on Reeves and obtaining a two count. The pace of the match picked up with Kelsey now performing a series of arm drags, Melissa got back up to her feet, looking dizzy after being tossed all around by the Uncanny Socialite. Still, when Kelsey sent her against the ropes with an irish whip, she was able to counter it and catch the blue haired girl qith a scoop powerslam as she came back from the ropes. Just as Spencer pulled herself up, Mel pushed her against the nearby corner, picking up the chair from the floor and charging at her, dropkicking the four time tag team champion through the chair. Kelsey wasn’t able to protect herself or muffle the impact in any way, dropping flat on her face. Reeves climbed on the top rope and flew onto the opponent with the shooting star press called Death From Above. Despite the match being contested under hardcore rules, the fans didn't see as much brutality as it was expectable, mostly for Kelsey's refusal to use weapons. The tag team specialist still managed to get a near fall with the Spitfire Suplex, but Reeves managed to raise her shoulder in time. Rolling out of the ring Mel was now on her knees catching her breath. Kelsey reached her outside, looking to bring the fight back in the ring and capitalize on this favorable moment to win the first stage. Unfortunately for her, Melissa shared the same desire to win and, unlike Kelsey, she had no qualms in taking things to the extreme. By the time Kelsey reached her, she had retrieved a baseball bat from under the ring, pushig it in Spencer’s mid-section and doubling her over in pain. She quickly moved up to her feet, positioning herself next to Kelsey and, after looping the bat around her neck, she fell backwards, taking her down with a russian legsweep. Kelsey started coughing, the bat pushing against her neck and throat clearly left her breathless. Reeves picked her up and, after smashing her face first against the steel post, she rolled her back into the ring. Once again the Reaver went to look for something under the ring skirt, pulling out a table and pushing it under the bottom rope. She set it up in the middle of the ring, allowing the opponent to recover and slowly climb up to her feet. All Reeves had to do next was to wait for the dizzy opponent to stand up and lift her on her shoulders, crushing her through the table with the Reaver Slam. The count seemed to be just a formality at this point, Melissa Reeves won the first round. Rumchata Ayano: The winner of the first stage, MELISSA REEVES! Next up was Kelsey’s choice, a submission match. Sure, when she picked this stipulation she wasn’t expecting to walk into the match after taking this much punishment. As the camera moved behind her shoulders, we got a clear view of her bruised back, and she was still breathing heavily, holding her neck during the rest time the referee guaranteed before one stage and the next. Finally the match was back underway, and Reeves tried to end it quick taking the opponent down with a clothesline and applying a crossface. Spencer quickly escaped the submission getting back to her feet and backing down into the corner. Melissa was giving her no break, charging in with a back elbow and flipping her to a seated position with a snapmare and wrapping her arms around her head in a rear chinlock. The Blue Thunder struggled a bit more to get free this time, but eventually she was able to get up on her feet and place a couple of elbows to the stomach of her opponent, forcing her to release the hold. Once free, Kelsey wasted no time to hit the opponent with a Pele Kick, buying herself some more time. Slowly and methodically, Spencer started working on the opponent’s back with a series of three german suplexes. With the opponent now down, she dropped her knees on Mel’s lower back a few times before dragging her up to her feet and sending her against the ropes, catching her with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on the rebound. A camel clutch seemed like a good way to make the Aussie tap out, or at least to put more pressure on her back. The former Liberty Champion wiggled free, using the ropes to help herself up and defending herself with a kick to the stomach when Kelsey went to grab her. For a second time Spencer charged in, this time Mel took her down with a drop toe hold that sent her neck first on the ropes. If there was any doubt about how bad Mel wanted that briefcase, the way she pushed her knee on the back of Kelsey pushing her down against the rope, something you rarely see from her. Eventually she had to let her go, waiting for her in the middle of the ring and, after a kick to the stomach, she planted her on her head with a cradle dtt, quickly transitioning into a guillotine choke. The referee went to check on Kelsey, who seemed to be fading out. He raised his arm twice, and both times it fell down. The third and final attempt resulted in the blue haired girl showing some sign of life, for the joy of the fans who started chanting her name. Seemingly drawing energy from their support, Kelsey wrestled her way out of the submission. The match had now been going for twenty minutes, and both opponents looked exhausted already, with possibly one more stage to go through should Kelsey manage to make Reeves tap out and even the score. Melissa was looking for a german suplex, but Kelsey countered it with a well placed elbow to the jaw, switching now position and finding herself behind Mel’s back. A backstabber took the Aussie down, and gave Kelsey the opportunity to lock her in the Kelsey Cloverleaf. Reeves tried to resist, but the pain inflicted on her back was too much for her to handle, and she had no choice but to tap out. Rumchata Ayano: The winner of the second stage, KELSEY SPENCER! Kelsey Spencer released the hold and looked up. The briefcase was hanging over her head, the only way to reach it was by climbing a ladder and unbuckle it from the hook. She's known to have a bad luck when it comes to ladder matches, as the recent ladder match for the Riot championship testifies. Perhaps that's the reason why Melissa picked this stipulation, playing on the opponent's weakness. The briefcase had to look even farther to both the competitors, proved and worn out by the fatigues of the battle. It didn’t take long for the ladder to be introduced in this match. At the first occasion, after knocking the opponent down with a Tornado DDT, Kelsey left the ring and picked up one of the ladder surrounding the ring, folding it and walking back to the ring. Reeves was already back on her feet, hitting the ladder with a baseball slide and smashing it on Spencer’s face. Wasting no time, Reeves picked up the ladder and brought it back into the ring, setting it up under the briefcase and starting her ascension. Halfway through her climbing she was reached by Kelsey who brought her down the hard way with a powerbomb, pushing away the ladder right after. As you could expect, the two competitors found various alternative uses of the only tool that could allow them to retrieve the coveted prize. Whether it was to use it as a platform to suplex the opponent on, like Kelsey did in a couple of occasions, or use it as a battering ram driving it in the opponent stomach and forcing her on all fours and dropping the same ladder on Kelsey’s already bruised back. The various hits bent the ladder, making it shaky and unsafe to try climb on. That’s why Mel gave up on it, deciding to toss the ladder against Kelsey who just pulled herself up and was resting a moment in the corner. Reeves then left the ring to grab a second one. setting it up right under the briefcase and starting to climb it. She was just a couple of steps away from the top when Kelsey stopped her climbing by smashing the other ladder on Mel’s back, knocking her off the ladder which, after the impact, fell down and bounced over the top rope, eventually falling right next to the former Liberty Champion, luckily missing her by a few inches. Wasting no time, Kelsey set up the dilapidated ladder and started to climb. With it being wobbly and shaky, it was a slow ascension for the Uncanny Socialite, which allowed Mel to recover and set up a second ladder right next to hers. Reeve’s climbing was much easier, and she quickly reached Kelsey on top. A hard fight between the two followed, the two competitors traded elbows and punches at high-altitude, each strikes potentially being the decisive one to knock off the opponent and retrieve the briefcase. Kelsey slammed the opponent’s face on the top of the ladder, and still it wasn’t enough to drop her down. Nonetheless, it bought Kelsey enough time to climb the last two steps and grab the briefcase, trying to unhook it. The spell was broken, Kelsey Spencer was going to win a ladder match, and do it when the stakes couldn’t be higher. Or was she? With a desperate move, Mel kicked the unsteady ladder with her last bit of strength, enough to bring it down and, despite her attempt to grab the briefcase and hang onto it, Kelsey fell down with it. It was a long and nasty fall for the Uncanny Socialite. One she couldn't recover from soon enough to stop Melissa from retrieving the briefcase. The scene fades in just as the cameras arrive outside the locker room reserved for one Bethany Driver. The door is slightly ajar and drifting out from the narrow opening is a low, haunting melody just loud enough to be picked up by the microphone.
The door is judged open as the cameraman steps in, revealing Bethany sitting on the bench, dressed and ready in her new red ring gear. She’s holding her hands out in front of her, looking at the slight shake in them just before her head tilts up and she spots the camera. She curls her hands into loose fists and drops them to her sides, putting on a smile.
Bethany Driver:
Not long now, yeah?
A shake of her head, mostly at herself.
Bethany Driver:
It never gets old, that nervousness before a big match. And this is a really, really big match. Quite obviously my biggest in Millennium so far. It’s a chance I haven’t had in a long time, the chance to be a champion. No, not just a champion, the Champion. ...But it’s not just that.
She draws in a slow, calming breath, brown eyes trailing to a random place in the room as her thoughts drift aloud.
Bethany Driver:
I got here by myself. I got here through my own hard work, and nothing less. And that’s all I’ve ever needed, whether I knew it or not. I’ve come this far, and I sure as hell don’t plan on stopping here. I want this match. I want this victory.
Bethany’s eyes shift back to the camera as she folds her hands together in front of her, letting them dangle as her elbows rest on her knees.
Bethany Driver:
I’ve got to get through SERO, and I know it won’t be easy. He didn’t get where he is because he wasn’t damn good at what he does. If I’m going to wake up tomorrow the MWE Champion, then I have to be better. And I know I can be. Doesn’t matter if anyone else knows it, or believes it. I do.
Taking a deep breath, she stands up and reaches over to switch off the music.
Bethany Driver:
The only thing left is for me to go out there and prove it.
Bethany brushes past the camera and the scene fades out.
“...I been prayin’ for redemption, learnin’ my lesson
But pain is my therapy
Cutting all ties, won’t you baptize me?
Whoa-oh-oh, set me free...”

Old School Steel Cage Match
Duke Andrews VS Christian MichaelsThe bell sounds one time as the lights dim in the arena, with a single light on the old blue cage as it lowered from the rafters. The stage crew around the ring waiting for it to completely descend to attach it to the ring. Jared Idol, “This match is not going to be for the faint of heart. We suggest that if you are squirmish and have a weak stomach that you watch with caution.” Bea Torres, “Just say what it is. This is going to be nasty and we expect broken bodies when it’s said and done. No need to sugar coat anything.” Jared Idol, “I was just being honest with a soft exterior, but you are correct. The cage that we use is made of chain link, which is not a toy. It will rip the flesh of the superstars if they are thrown into it. But this, wherever Duke dragged this from, is made of steel bars that are meant to break bones and kill spirits.” “Kryptonite” by Three Doors Down hits the speakers as Christian Michaels comes from behind the curtain in his ring gear. His head down as he marches to the ring. Rumchata, “Introducing first, weighing in at two hundred and twenty five pounds. The Southern Hearthrob! Christian Michaelllllllsss” Jared Idol, “Christian is not wasting any second as he marches to the ring for tonight’s grudge match.” Bea Torres, “I guess he’s just ready to get to the beating that much faster tonight. These two men have gone from a bond of friendship into the deep end of hatred for each other”” The music switches as the crowd boos. “The Second Amendment” by Who TF is Justin Time plays as Duke slowly makes his way from the gorilla position. Sporting a sleeveless black t-shirt with “G.O.A.T.” Written in white script and an outline of his face in white and blue behind it. His gear, long tights in silver with the red white and blue ‘Michigun’ logo all over. His black boots dull and black knee pads. He stopped midway down the ramp and flipped off the crowd before looking at the cage. Rumchata “And his opponent, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, he weighed in at two hundred and forty four pounds, the Epitome of Perfection, Duke ANDREWWWSSS” Duke stopped in front of the ring. Laughing at Christian as Christian is begging him to get inside of the ring. Duke reaches up and slaps the side of the blue steel before walking to the next side. He grabbed the steel and shook it, a large grin on his face before he turned and walked towards the door. Jared Idol, “As has been discussed; this is the last match between the two for now. No more interfering between them. Tonight it’s all settled.” Bea Torres, “ Lets just hope that it don’t end like the last time with Christian being forced into the hospital.” Duke took his shirt off and threw it in the face of Christian as the referee steps between the two. Duke Andrews “Thereya fuckin go. There’s a souvenir you can keep.” Duke shouted in Christian’s face as the bell rang and the two quickly circled each other in the ring. Jared Idol “The only way to win this match is for your feet to touch the floor. No pins and no submissions.” Christian gets the upper hand and takes Duke down with a quick double leg take down. It caught Duke off guard as he quickly raised his arms to protect his face as CM started throwing closed fist blows towards Dukes head. A quick turn and Duke escapes from Christians mounted position and slides back to his feet. He wiped his face and smirked before launching towards CM who had it scouted. CM used Dukes momentum to throw him towards the ropes before following him and shoving Duke face first into the cage. Jared Idol, “Christian gets the upper hand to start with Duke. Launching him into the steel cage face first!” Duke stumbles back before dropping to his rear end in the middle of the ring. A quick laugh from the Mexican crowd, laughing at the arrogance of Duke before CM flew into the picture with a diving forearm that knocked Duke to his back. Duke again spun around and pushed his body up and took charge and hit a running knee to the thigh of Christian. It took CM to a knee as Duke bounced back to hit a running drop kick to Michaels spine that sent him across the mat. Duke follows CM and scooped him up and tossed him over his shoulder before getting another running start. Duke went to throw CM like a lawn dart into the steel but CM slid off of Dukes shoulder. Duke hit the ropes and CM caught him before sweeping the legs and taking Duke back to the mat. Bea Torres “Michaels is sure being a slippery one tonight! Not that I can blame him at all, wouldn’t want my face smashed into that ugly blue monstrosity either” Christian has zero thought about attempting to climb the cage, he was all about inflicting pain on Duke. Duke was flat on his back as Christian hit the ropes and came down across the chest with a running leg drop. Jared Idol “ Big time leg drop by Michaels there. It seems like Christian has his eyes on dealing as much damage as possible to his former friend. But you have got to wonder when he’s going to think about winning this match and ending this feud..” CM had popped up and immediately went to the corner to start climbing. Bea Torres “And the dumbest move of the day goes to Christian Michaels. There’s no way Duke is down long enough for this to be the end.” Christian got to the top and began to put his feet in the steel to climb as Duke got to his feet. A simple shrug from the Michigan native as he grabbed Michaels feet and yanked back. Causing Christian to land jaw first on the top turnbuckle. Christian bounced back into the open arms of Duke who snapped his hips back and launched a belly to back suplex across the ring to the opposite corner. Duke crotch chopped Christian as he rolled to his knees, holding his head. Duke walked back and lifted Christian up with one hand and again snapped his hips launching CM to the other side of the ring. Duke popped his hips and launched himself back to his feet as he stalked Christian who was again trying to get up. Duke stopped in his tracks as Christian got to his knees and looked at Duke. Smirking. Duke shook his head before running towards him and hitting him with a Killshot! Jared Idol, “Oh no! He’s going to do this all again! He did this five times in their last match.” Bea Torres, “And Christian should have known better and not wanted this so much. Duke could have been fighting alongside Dusty and Chris Constantine Jr for bragging rights of Millennium!” Duke smirked as Christian hit the mat. His face already swelling from the knee to the face as Duke turned around and waited. His eyes locked on Christian who was almost lifeless. Jared Idol “If Duke has any decency in his body he will climb the cage and leave now as the winner.” Duke walked back towards his opponent and slapped the back of his head. Duke Andrews “You’re pathetic. You’re a shell of yourself. You’re nothing but a washed up loser!” Christian tried to fight back. Throwing blind punches at Duke as Duke laughed before turning and throwing his hip into the neck area of Michaels. Duke turned and grabbed Michaels by the hips and lifted him up. Attempting another suplex before Michaels flung his right leg back and connected with Duke’s family jewels. Andrews held his bruised cajones and stumbled back three or four steps. Just as he starts to stand upright again, CM suddenly launches into a Pele kick! Jared Idol “ Pele kick! Christian catches Duke with a low blow first out of self preservation- perfectly legal in this contest, and then follows up with a stunning Pele kick. This could be his chance to escape! Bea Torres “Unlike earlier, this time I think he might have a shot if he does!” It certainly looks like Christian has decided to put an end to this whole shabang. He heads for the nearest corner and starts to climb up to the top turnbuckle. When he gets up and starts climbing the actual cage, a cautionary glance back lets Michaels see that Duke is starting to stir. Realizing that he might not be able to escape before Duke’s fully recovered, Christian starts making his way along the cage until he’s mid-way between the corners of that side of the ring. Jared Idol “Wait a minute here, just what in the hell is Michaels thinking here?” Bea Torres “ I’ll be damned if I know! Were that me I’d be hauling my kiestler over the top of that cage and escaping with a win.” Once the abrasive Duke Andrews is to his feet, he looks up just in time to see Christian launch back with a HUGE cross body block! The fans all gasp and hold their breaths as CM sails through the air, those same breath-taken fans roaring with cheers as Michaels connects! Bea Torres “Holysh--...” Jared Idol “ Cross body! Cross body! Christian Michaels with a mega cross body from near the top of the cage!” The fans are cheering, chanting Michaels’ name as the ref scurries about to check the well being of both men here. It seems that both men are tough sons of bitches and want to go on! The two warriors summoning the will to rise back to their feet. And for the first time in a long time, Duke even hears cheers for that fact. CM and Duke, Duke and CM. They stare at one another for a couple seconds before charging to the middle of the ring! Both men uncorking haymaker right hands! Every punch landed by Duke draws harsh boos from the crowd. On the other end of the spectrum every blow landed by Michaels is met with wild cheers. Jared Idol “My god look at these two men, they’re really throwing hands tonight” Bea Torres “And there goes that saying, if it was one” Duke with a hip check double Michaels over. He takes his former buddy by the hair and runs him at the cage. Christian gets a foot up to block the progress. He throws an elbow to the gut of Andrews. Duke all of a sudden having his face be the one introduced to the cage! Duke staggers away holding his forehead. But his reprieve doesn’t last more than a couple of seconds. He’s grabbed by the back of the head and charged across the ring to the opposite side of the cage. WHAM! Christian flings his former tag partner into the cage! Duke takes maybe two steps back before he’s grabbed again, and this time CM makes a bit of a diagonal cut and he ends up flinging Duke to another side of the cage! Jared Idol “Christian Michaels is being sure to introduce his opponent’s face to all the sides of the cage. Three down so far, one more to go..” Bea Torres “Man I bet Duke never expected this turn of events” Jared Idol “Certainly not!” CM goes to introduce Duke to the final side of the cage, but the attempt goes awry. Andrews put on the brakes and spun them around. With a hard shove it’s Michaels sent back first against the cage. He stumbles forward into a back body drop. The air is driven out of CM on impact with the mat. As he tries to get up, Duke grabs him and tosses CM in a wicked release German suplex that sees Christian fly over the top rope and hit the cage with his head, shoulders, and neck. He drops from the impact to the top rope and it flings Michaels back into the ring. Duke Andrews “That’s from Van Dam you piece of trash!” Jared Idol “Duke Andrews talking a little trash as he finds himself back in control of things here.” Bea Torres “Some men enjoy adding insult to injury, Duke Andrews lives for it” Jared Idol “No doubt about that at all. I spoke to Duke backstage earlier tonight and he told me, matter of factly, that he was the hunter that shot Bambi’s mom. And then smiled!” Meanwhile in the ring a somewhat exhausted Duke is stumbling slightly as Michaels is trying to push himself back to a vertical base. CM is on his tip-toes and fingertips when Duke snatches him by the hair and back of his pants. The ref of course warns Duke to get off the hair, but he can do little else in this type of match. Andrews indeed laughing and then chucking his former friend against the cage again! Michaels hits hard and drops to the mat. There’s no rest for the weary Heartthrob as Duke grabs him back up again. He takes Michaels across the ring to the opposite side and yells at Christian. Suddenly Duke scoops him up on a shoulder and charges back towards the side of the cage that Michaels has been relentlessly slammed against. Suddenly Duke makes a stop and tosses CM as if he’s delivering a delivering a slam. Michaels totally upside down as his back hits the cage and he gets folded up sliding down between the cage and ropes. CM rolling back into the ring weakly.. Jared Idol: My god what a move! I have rarely seen someone deliver moves like that with as much vile and venom behind them as Duke Andrews does. The pleasure he seems to derive, especially against someone who he once called a brother in arms, is just sickening far as I’m concerned. Bea Torres: Well it would appear that with Michaels down, Duke would rather add insult than secure victory. He’s asking for a mic and I’d suggest the man be given it. Wisely our dear ring announcer Rumchata rises from her seat and approaches the cage. She hands a mic in for Andrews, the Michigan native taking it without so much as a “Thank you”. Duke walks around the ring, heavy breaths picked up by the mic a testament to how hard he and CM have gone at each other in this match. Before the abrasive star can even begin the fans unleash a chorus of boos upon him. Duke is not deterred by their lack of respect. Instead he finds the actions of the paying customers amusing, laughing at them. Duke Andrews: You about done? Because it sure looks like my old “pal” there is… Andrews making a gesture towards Michaels. Christian was on his knees beside the ropes, one hand held onto them as the other held his forehead/eyebrow region. Duke walked over and pushed his foot against the side of Michaels’ head to little reaction. After a laugh he turns towards our tron. Duke Andrews: Well since Christian is being a downer, like always, and had it added to that this would be our last meeting in the ring for a while….I went through the trouble of having a gift put together for him. A video of the greatest moments of our feud this year! So you idiots in the back do your job and get my presentation on the tron! The screen flickers to life as Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You” begins to play. The first scene we’re greeted to is a shot of another promotion’s ring, Christian Michaels kicking out a moment too late from a pin. He rolls up to his knees and seems to be apologizing to someone just out of view….The suddenly Duke Andrews is seen charging across the way and nailing CM with a knee to the side of the face! Duke Andrews: Ah the night I first shed the deadweight that is Christian Michaels. I know a lot of people thought I was being a jerk, but I was actually showing him mercy. See that crumbled heap of nothing over there is no longer the man I once revered! He’s nothing! Nobody! And I tried to pull an Old Yeller for him, but he just wouldn’t take the hint.. More scenes begin to play, confrontations between Duke and Kelsey Spencer in the other promotion….Duke Andrews attacked Rebecca Saint….Screen-capped shots of tweets between Duke and various friends of Michaels….And then we start to get scenes from last month’s “I Quit” match. The repeated jumping knees from Duke are shown in an almost endless loop, spliced with shots of Kelsey throwing in the towel to save her husband… Duke Andrews: Yo, Christian, dude you should get up and watch this next part; it’s my favorite. He said with a glance back at Michaels before looking back to the screen. On the tron the video Duke produced has moved on to the scene of Andrews confrontation with Michaels’ teenage daughter Gabriella. They were fussing at each other when Duke steps out of bounds and pie-faces the teenager onto her rump in her seat. Duke Andrews: Ahahahahahaa! Oh man I love that part! Let’s see it again! The video is rewinded and plays out the shot again…..And again…..And again still. However the monsoon of boos that was washing over Duke begins to fade out. Those boos start to turn to cheers as there’s life from CM! Christian having gripped the middle rope with both hands. He reaches up to the top with both hands and pulls himself up, back towards his enemy and head down. Naturally Duke hears the crowd roaring with approval and realizes something’s going on. He whips around to see CM back on his feet. Jared Idol: Michaels back on his feet! Bea Torres: Yeah but he’s not being too wise keeping his back to Duke.. Andrews drops the mic and charges full speed at Christian. He pushes off into a jumping knee attempt, but in a perfectly fluid moment, CM plants his left foot and spins out of the way just before the back of his head can be kissed by Duke’s knee. The fans are silent for a moment before bursting into loud cheers. Jared Idol: Holy hell! How?! How did Michaels manage to avoid the contact?! Bea Torres: I-I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it! As strange as that was, Christian is still standing with his head down. Duke, who had stumbled into the ropes, whips around with his nostrils flaring. If the man was a dragon there’d be puffs of flame shooting out about now. But we all know that’d just make Duke too OP. So sans breathing fire, Andrews charges in at Michaels again. This time instead of his leaping knee Duke looks for a powerful lariat that’d make Stan Hansen proud. Yet a second time, in an instant, CM moves in time to counter the move. This time the counter was raising both arms in front of his face and stopping his nemesis’ arm cold! A stunned Andrews doesn’t stay that way long. He swings his left hand, clutched into a tight fist, intending to nail a mighty blow to the side of his opponent’s head. Christian ducks down, underneath the swing, comes up and smashes the back of his arm into the left side of Duke’s face! Bea Torres: Ok what the hell is going on here?! The back elbow smash sends Duke staggering back to a corner. He checks himself for blood and then glares across the way at Michaels in the center of the ring. Our great fans here in Mexico are really into things right now, excited by this return to form of the ole Southern Heartthrob. Christian, speaking of our ole pal, has kep his head down. But suddenly he snaps his head back, sending his long hair flying back, and the cameras get a shot of his eyes. They’re no longer their natural brown either. CM’s eyes are now silver in color! Jared Idol “What in the world?! Christian Michaels naturally has brown eyes, but….but suddenly they’re silver…?!” Bea Torres “I don’t understand this! Is this some of that Dragonmon? Or is it Pokeball stuff?” Jared Idol “Wait a minute! I once happened upon Kelsey and Christian watching a Dragonball show! In the episode they were watching, the show’s main character entered into a state they told me was called Ultra Instinct, and he had eyes much like Christian’s. Has….Has Christian Michaels achieved Ultra Instinct?!” Bea Torres “Don’t be absurd! That’s silly crud from a cartoon show, not real life” Jared Idol “Care to take a stab at explaining things?” Bea Torres “ … “ Angrier than before, Duke charges back in at Christian. Andrews is like a man possessed as he swings with wild blows, even attempting knees and kicks too! But the furious attack is all for naught. Somehow, some way, Christian Michaels is managing to avoid every attack. Whether it’s via a ducking, a sidestep, or blocking; Michaels is able to avoid contact. However his counter attacks aren’t having a lot of effect on Duke. Indeed CM makes a punch that connects to the gut, but Duke grabs the wrist. He looks to apply a wristlock, but Christian spins around to take a hammerlock. Andrews quickly bends over, grabs CM by an ankle and pulls him off his feet. The native of Tennessee is quick to put his other foot to Duke’s ass and push him away. Michaels shoots up, kicked in the gut and Duke thinking ddt. No! Christian goes behind into a rollup- right into a position to catapult Duke against the cage. Great agility shown by Andrews as he catches himself and springs back with a double axehandle smash to the top of his rival’s skull. Jared Idol “Sweet baby Jesus what an exchange there!” Michaels was dropped on his ass from the axehandle smash. Before he can get back up, Duke is there to pull him up. Finally some staggering forearm smashes rock CM. Duke added a kick to the mid-section. With Michaels doubled over he goes for a crucifix bomb(think Razor’s/Outsider’s Edge), but CM is slippier than a greased bb and manages to slide off to his feet behind Duke. Andrews isn’t foolish enough to just turn around. He charges across the ring, hits the ropes just enough to build momentum as he rebounds off. Jared Idol “Something tells me we could be on the verge of deciding this contest…” Bea Torres “I think he’s building momentum for that Killshot jumping knee…” Looks like Bea knows what she’s talking about as Duke does indeed leap to deliver the dangerous knee. However at the exact moment that Duke commits himself, leaping into the air like that, Christian plants his left foot and shoots the right up for his “You Just Got Whapped!” superkick. Both men manage to connect! CM’s foot catching Duke under the jaw as he tried to fall back away from the kick. Michaels hitting the kick makes Duke fall back harder making Duke’s foot come up and catch CM in the side of the face! Jared Idol “Both men connected! They’re both on the mat! The first one to their feet could win this!” Two good minutes pass as the two spent wrestlers try to stir. The first to rise though is Michaels. He walks over and starts to try an lift up Andrews. However in the process Michaels glances up at the top of the cage.Realizing it’s time to end the match, this war of wills, he releases Duke and starts toward the cage. The fans are all for it as CM tests the cage and starts climbing up. Bea Torres “Here we go! Michaels is on his way up the side of the cage!” Jared Idol “He’s almost there, but look out Duke Andrews is getting back to his feet!” Duke looks around, shaking his head to clear out the cobwebs. He doesn’t immediately see his hated rival and that spurs him up to his feet. Finally looking up helps Andrews spot him. The simple fact that Christian is so close to victory pisses Duke off! He scrambles up onto the top rope and grabs ahold of Michaels’ long hair. The cameras filming for our fans watching at home easily picking up the agony in CM’s voice as he hollers. The pain too much, agonizing until the point Michaels finally climbs back into the cage. He ends up on the top rope beside Duke, the two of them throwing elbows and fists at each other. Soon enough the two of them are taking turns slamming each other’s face off the side of the cage! Jared Idol “These two are trying to kill each other! How can either of the two of them ever be the same again?!” Before we can even dare try and explain a way, the side of the cage gives way and swings outward! Bea Torres “What the hell?!” As the side of the cage swung out, a stunned Duke scrambled as he slipped off the top rope onto the ring apron. He hung onto the top rope out of instinct. The swinging side of the cage wedging itself against the ringside barricade. Duke looks at the cage and sees that Christian Michaels had held onto the cage. He points at CM, yelling out “DON’T YOU DO IT! DON’T YOU DARE DROP DOWN YOU SON OF A BITCH! IT’S MY TIME! THIS! IS! MY! TIME!!!!! Michaels glares at his once friend with silver eyes and flips him the ole bird Jared Idol “Woah-boy! Folks I can assure you that is NOT a show of Michaels calling Duke Andrews number one in his book” Bea Torres “One of them needs to drop down and win this thing! Duke starts to yell something else at Christian, but what it was we’ll never know for certain. The ole Southern Heartthrob leaps from the side of the cage back towards Duke on the apron. On the way down Christian grabs Duke for a Codebreaker. Its as if things go in slow motion as Michaels yanks Duke off the apron into the move. Fans are holding their breath as Christian lands on the mat back first- a small instant before Duke, hitting the move. Jared Idol “Who hit first?! Folks we’re waiting for the ref’s word to be given to Rumchata… All eyes are on Rumchata and the ref having a discussion. All the fans are on baited breath, CM is to a kneeling position. Duke is on his feet, holding his chin. Moments pass and finally the ref steps back towards the competitors. Rumchata Ayano “Ladies and gentlemen the referee has ruled that via touching the floor first, your winner of the match…...CHRRRRRRISTIANNNNN MIIIIIIICHAELS!!!! WINNER: Christian Michaels BY: Cage Escaping, 19:17 |
At the first hint of Michaels name being announced as the victor Duke turned away and buried his face in his hands on the apron. The ref was raising the hand of an estatic Christian Michaels at the same time! CM making his way around ringside slapping hands with fans in celebration.
Jared Idol “Michaels did it! Christian Michaels has risen to the occasion tonight to defeat Duke Andrews to put an end to this six month long blood feud! I can’t believe it!”
Neither can Duke Andrews, as he pleads the case to the ref that he actually hit the floor first. However the ref is having none of it and tries to walk away. Andrews threatens to lay him out, but the ref warns Duke of the potential fines he could be facing if he does.
The scene cuts backstage in a barely lit smoky room in an undisclosed location. A single ray of light shines down on a black leather chair. Chris Constantine, dressed in a custom made grey suit, walks into the scene and takes a seat in the leather chair. Chris leans back in the chair and crosses his legs as he looks at the screen with a smug look on his face.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
Ladies and Gentlemen. It’s the match that you’ve wanted to see for months. Millennium vs. Riot. The back and forths. The sneak attacks. The pure violence. It’s all led to this very main event that will finally decide who reigns supreme here in Millennium. It’s like it was all.....planned.
Chris pauses as he lights up a cigar and takes a few drags from it before speaking again.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
We all knew this event was eventually going to happen. Both brands wanting to one up one another and prove that their show was better. There’s too much pride in wrestlers where eventually heads were going to bump and feelings were going to get hurt. So instead of sitting on the sidelines and waiting for the fuse to be lit....I wanted to be the one to light it and blow a fan on that flame.
Leaning forward in the chair, Chris places his hands together as he stares a hole into the camera.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
Why? For this moment! For this main event spot! For the pay day! To show management that I’m not just about going into that ring and beating someone up. That I’m able to make things entertaining and bring in money while doing so.
Chris leans back in his chair and takes a drag from his cigar before speaking again.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
Call me a War Dog, an individual who bottom feeds off the business of war for the sole reason of making a profit. Call me the fruit of my fathers loins who helped break deals when he was with the Dogs Of War. Call me the smartest man in the room or just call me an asshole. I don’t care. But I started this whole war, I molded it into what it is today, and I will end it with my hand being raised. All hail Chris Constantine Jr.
Chris ends the segment with a cocky grin as he lets the cigar hang in his mouth,

MWE Championship Match
SERO (c) VS Bethany DriverBethany Driver walked into this match with something something to prove. When the Millennium General Manager choose her to challenge SERO for the company's top prize, a few voices made their concerns public, questioning Gian’s decision and Beth’s worth, despite her coming out on top from her intense rivalry against HAMMERSTEIN. This match tonight represented not only the accomplishment of every wrestler’s dream, but a chance to shut up all her detractors. Sure, she had a huge challenge in front of her, the unpinned in singles competition MWE Champion SERO, one, if not the, most dominant competitor in the company. And the most dangerous striker, as she noticed as soon as the bell rang, when the leader of The Few greeted her with a stiff forearm shot. The sudden strike rocked Beth who found herself on the receiving hand of the champion’s heavy offense, The mexican fans could get a close look to SERO’s King Road Puroresu style, watching him tearing apart Driver with stiff and swift striking combinations. Kicks, elbows and knees to the face took the challenger down, allowing SERO to obtain the first near fall and steer the match in his favor. In fact, he kept control for all the first phase of the match, almost toying with the opponent in certain moments but keeping his guard up, ready to counter every attempt she made to turn the momentum. Bethany caught him with a jumping knee, hitting the ropes and going for a clothesline, ducked by the leader of The Few who lifted her over his shoulders in a fireman’s carry position into a discus punch, knocking her down with the Tekken Tachikaze. For the second time the champion made the cover and got a two count. It took her a while, but eventually Bethany came out of her shell, driven by the fans firmly behind her and by her never give up attitude. After blocking a right hand from the champ, Beth hit him with a low kick, hitting SERO on the side of his thigh, quickly following with a front kick to the stomach and a discus lariat to take the champion down. SERO didn’t stay down long, getting up with a smile on his face as if he was pleasantly surprised by this reaction. The pair met in the center of the ring, once again trading blows. Driver held her own against the champion who, in the end, was able to land one of his infamous combinations that left Beth standing groggily in the middle of the ring. When SERO went for the bicycle knee, Driver stepped aside and quickly looped her arms around his waist, lifting him for a german suplex. Just like before, the champion was quickly back on his feet, but this time Bethany was faster and, with a dropkick, pushed him in the corner. Wasting no time, she charged at him and leaped, connecting with her knee on his face and, right after, grabbed him by the back of his head and slammed him face first on the canvas with a bulldog. SERO kicked out of the pinning predicament in one. The champion seemed to have some difficulty every time Bethany was able to speed up. Dodge and hit, that was how Bethany took control of the match, one kick at a time. Taking the champion down with a vicious kick to the knee, Bethany then hit the ropes and hit SERO with her MurderGraps Drive-By (Basement running knee). She managed to get a two count out of it but, most importantly, the high velocity impact seemed to have stunned the champ who looked dizzy when he pulled himself up. The challenger capitalized on this opportunity, lighting up his chest with a series of knife edge chops, whipping him against the ropes and doubling him over with a kitchen sink. It looked like things were downhill now for challenger, SERO being in troubles as he had never been before. The fans were pushing Bethany, wanting to see the title change hands. And Driver was starting to believe in what, at the eve of Viva La Revolucion, many people thought was an impossible mission to accomplish. And the dream came true when Bethany planted the MWE Champion on his head with The Bethany Driver (Inverted Snapmare Driver) and made the cover. One… Two… Thr…. The cry of joy died in the Mexican fans’ throats and, certainly, of those at home as well when SERO raised his shoulder before the three count. Bethany was pulling her hair, shocked to see her best move failing to put the champion away. The Leader Of The Few rolled toward the ropes, using them to, very slowly, pulling himself up. Driver started getting back to a vertical position as well, already shaking the disappointment off and planning her next move to keep the momentum going, with the confidence that the unpinned can be beaten, and she just went this close. It didn’t take her too long to get in position for another Bethany Driver. This time SERO was ready and countered it with a nasty elbow to the back of the head, following with a jumping knee strike once again hitting the challenger on the nape. Beth fell on her knees, receiving a third blow to the same spot, this time it was a superkick that took her out. At least that’s what SERO thought when he made the cover, only to be proved wrong by his challenger. Beaten up and dazed, Bethany tried until the end to get back into the match, but SERO didn’t allow her to, constantly hammering her with his heavy offense until he connected the Tenchi Kaijin (Bloody Cross) to retain his title. WINNER: SERO BY: Pinfall (Tenchi Kaijin), 16:41 |
Both Team Millennium and Team Riot glare at each other from across the ring; Chris Constantine Jr. mocking his four opponents, showing them just how out numbered they actually are. The referee hesitates from ringing the bell, asking Team Riot if they were sure they wanted to go through with this but is met with only furious stares back. The ref shrugs, checking in on both sides. As he goes to signal for the bell, however, the lights in the arena cut out!
Then sounds a funeral bell. Then another, and then another still. The tolling of the bell fills the air as, upon the stage, smoke begins to funnel down the ramp lit by a haunting blue light. The bells are joined by a low chant, as onto the stage in two rows creep dozens of druids, all cloaked entirely in black. They creep down the ramp until the entire stage is outlined in chanting, faceless beings. The bell tolls on as the chanting stops, with one final, reverberating gong shaking the room. The screens all around light up in static, shifting to various cuts of tombstones, crows, crosses and decrepit houses. The feed cuts, leaving only the chilling words of small children.
“He’s here…..”
The chill hangs in the air … before “The Man” by The Killers kicks on over the speakers! As the song takes off, the arena ignites into bright lights of purple, red, yellow and pink! The “Druids” throw off their cloaks, revealing both smiling, dancing showgirls and a choir dressed in sparkling silver outfits! From the stage emerges shimmering limousine, pulling down the ramp, a large sunroof opening on the top. There’s a pause, before Devin Hearst leaps up through that sunroof onto the top of the limo to a massive reaction! Hearst dances a bit himself, dropping his shades and smirking at the shocked Millennium team before walking down the Limo itself and jumping onto the apron and then into the ring! Hearst takes the corner with Team Riot, taking a moment to flip his opponents the bird and yell basically every obscenity he could think of at them

Now that, after Hearts’ flamboyant entrance that made more than a pair of eyes roll, especially on Team Millennium’s ranks, the match could start. Yulia and Gian, whose destiny was now in the hands of their selected teams, sat at ringside. The camera lingered on them, the confident, almost arrogant smile never leaving Gian’s face. That sureness, the absolute lack of tension almost as this whole situation wasn’t bothering him, almost as he was perfectly sure that everything will go just fine for him, seemed to unsettle his friend and colleague Yulia. The russian didn’t hide her contrariety to put their jobs on the line, finding it an unnecessary measure since the issue was never between the two General Managers, but rather a matter of bragging rights between the two rosters. And despite the friendship bond between her and her italian counterpart, she’s well aware that Gian would do anything in his power to get things his way. Add that to the recent actions of Zafar Khan and Duke Andrews who seemed to have joined the cause despite not being on the team and you get why his confidence looked suspicious to say the least. Anyway, after a short discussion among the teams, one of the highest stakes match in MWE history, probably second only to the 5 vs 5 at Year One, started Constantine and Aella locking up in the middle of the ring. If the power advantage was on Chris’ favor, the young Foley learned through the past months how to use her size to her advantage. Combining that with her grappling technique, she quickly moved behind CCJ’s back and wrapped her arms around his waist. He immediately tried to break free swinging his elbow back, but she was expecting that kind of reaction and easily ducked it. She tried to lift Constantine for a german suplex, but the R!ZE champion blocked it with his leg. Changing plans, Aella pushed him against the ropes and pinned him with an O’Connor Roll, missing Tobie making the tag with a light, sneaky pat on Constantine’s shoulder. Tobie entered the ring and ruthlessly connected with a superkick to the back of the unaware Aella’s head, making the cover for a clamorous early elimination of one of the most eagerly awaited protagonists of this war, if it wasn’t for Alan Envy diving in to break the pinfall. Dusty Douglas made him pay, entering the ring and leveling him with a massive clothesline. And for a big man that entered the ring, the other one didn’t sit on his hands, barging in and chasing off the Big Nasty with a series of forearm strikes. Constantine avenged his Chimera Corps brothers blindsiding Wilkow with a clubbing blow to the back of the head, pushing him over the top rope and yelling something about taking out the trash. He then turned around into a big boot from Hearst that almost took Chris head off. Holding his face, CCJ rolled out of the ring and Meg Rydell took his place, entering the ring with a springboard dropkick that sent the former Dog Of War flying out of the ring. Cole Gregory wanted to take part of the action as well and he charged at Megan with his arm extended for a lariat. Rydell ducked it and went for a kick to the stomach, blocked by the former Invictus Champion who grabbed her foot and pushed upward. With an acrobatic flip, Meg landed on her feet, realizing too late that Cole was coming at her with a jumping bicycle knee. Cole didn’t even have the time to enjoy this moment as Luna planted him on his head with a reverse Rana, only to be immediately dropped down by a spinning heel kick from the new Riot Champion Eliza Valentine. Hammerstein joined the party, starting brawling with EJV and getting the upper hand, forcing her against the ropes and dropping qher on the outside with a clothesline. As he turned back he found a furious Aella who was determined to get some vengeance for last week’s attack, and she got some, before Tobie rolled her on her shoulders picking up another near fall. The match they had back at The Great White North didn't quell the bad blood between these two. The memory of the brutal attack on Gian by the hands of the Godkiller was still fresh on Tobie’s mind, who felt like their match at The Great White North didn’t give her the closure she was looking for. As a result, there was no room for technical wrestling or for Tobie’s aerial offense. They just tore each other apart with their hardest strikes, kicks and punches flying from every direction. Despite the stiffness of their shots, the exchange was a clean one, none of them taking any shortcut to get the upper hand. Aella stunned TNT with a headbutt to the bridge of the nose, swinging for the fences with a right hook ducked by Tobie who followed with a spinning heel kick that dropped down the Northern Irish. Once again Thorne made the cover, but Aella kicked out in one, standing up with a furious look on her face. When Tobie tried to hit her with another right punch, she blocked it and answered with one of her own, catching the former [R]evo tag team champion right on the jaw. This last hit rocked the young french, who recoiled a couple of steps back, Like a fury, Foley jumped on her and took her to the mat, raining down lefts and rights to Tobie’s unprotected face. One of those shots caught her once again on the nose, busting it open. The sight of his girlfriend bleeding broke Gian’s imperturbable stance. He stiffened on his chair, almost as if the thought of stepping in to defend her crossed her mind for a second, before being pushed back. Aella didn’t miss it, slowing down her flurry of offense to crack a wicked smirkl at the Millennium General Manager. A slight distraction Tobie capitalized on by pushing her away and quickly reaching her corner, making the tag to Luna. The Star Of The Night entered the ring, and the pace picked up immediately. Too quick for Aella , Luna hit the ropes and jumped, wapping her legs around Aella’s head and flipping her over with a headscissors takedown, following with a shotgun dropkick. Cole Gregory asked for the tag, but Aella ignored him charging at the opponent instead. Luna ran toward her and caught her with a running spanish fly, obtaining another two count. Unable to find a counter to Luna’s Krav Maga style, Foley eventually made the tag to Envy who rushed into the ring trying to behead the Star Of The Night with a lariat. Luna ducked it and kicked Alan in the stomach with a reverse side kick, doubling him over and connecting a series of Krav Maga knee strikes, knocking him down. Climbing on the top rope, she went for a moonsault, but the high risk move didn’t pay off, as she found nothing but the canvas. This gave Alan the opportunity to build some momentum and even getting real close to the elimination with a pop up death valley driver. Luna’s reaction was immediate, catching him with a throat strike followed by the Starstorm (Discus Spinning Roundhouse). The Murder Train, who still had some unfinished business with the “traitor” Alan Envy was dying to get into the ring and get his revenge. Luna kindly obliged, and Dusty entered the ring all guns blazing, squashing Envi as he was pulling himself up in the corner with a body splash, following with a released belly to belly suplex. Alan slowly made it back to his feet, eating a savate kick from the Big Nasty who was now in full control, getting close to the first fall with the Hyper Beam (Standing headbutt). Alan needed to reach the corner and make the tag, but he couldn’t get past Dusty, who was doing an excellent job in keeping him away from the rest of his team, in cooperation with his friend and tag partner Chris Constantine. The Chimera Corp was working as a unit with quick tags and combined moves, like when Chris whipped the opponent toward Dusty, who hit his Killamajig (Spinning Double A Spinebuster) to score the first elimination Rumchata Ayano: “Alan Envy has been eliminated!” Cole Gregory was the next of Team Riot to step inside the ring, not at all intimidated by the imposing presence of the Murder Train, who welcomed the former Invictus champion with a heavy right hand. Cole quickly fired back with a punch of his own, barely affecting Dusty who invited him to try again. And Gregory did just that, hitting him once again, this time with more force. And Dusty felt it, taking a step back and holding his jaw before launching himself in a flurry of punches and open palm strikes, grabbing a hold of Cole's arm and sending him against the ropes and pushing him up in the air as he rebounded back. Before Dusty could catch him and slam him down on the mat with a pop up powerbomb, Cole countered with a dropkick, sending the big man down. Douglas got up and walked right into a combination of strikes from the former Invictus Champion: kicks, elbows and forearms stunned the Big Nasty who eventually was able to free himself by pushing the opponent away and head toward his corner. Cole jumped on his back and wrapped his arms around his neck, squeezing tightly in a sleeper hold. Despite his attempts to break free, Dustin was clearly in difficulty, already starting to turn red. With one last effort, Dusty covered the short distance that was separating him from the rest of his team carrying Cole with him, and finally made the tag to Chris Constantine. As soon as the tag was made, Gregory dropped off Dustin’s back and prepared himself to receive Constantine who challenged the British to a test of strength. Obviously nobody was surprised when Chris took advantage of the situation with a knee to the stomach, following with some european uppercuts and a single knee facebreaker. CCJ kept control for a few minutes, dragging the opponent to a neutral corner and slamming his face on the top turnbuckle three times, before turning him around so that his back was now against the ropes and brought his index to his lips, inviting the fans to stay silent. In all response, he got a huge round of boos, to which he reacted by shaking his head before connecting with a wicked knife edge chop on Cole’s chest. Instinctively, the winded Gregory brough both hands to the pect, bending forward to catch his breath and protect himself. Chris slapped his cheek and, holding him by the chin, pushed him back against the corner, loading another chop, this one ducked by the former Invictus champion. With the roles reversed, Cole had now the chance to get some payback, kicking the crap out of Constantine before sending him to the opposite corner and charging at him with a jumping knee. The tides had turned and Cole had now CCJ exactly where he wanted, laying down in the middle of the ring after a spinning heel kick, perfectly positioned for the Cole-Lapse, (Bridging Arm Triangle Choke). Zafar Khan and Duke Andrews appeared on the stage, greeted by a loud round of boos. The members of Team Riot stood to attention ready to intervene, almost challenging the two men, now joined by Robbie Bourbon, to come down and fight. Remembering the promise he made yesterday, Yulia was staring at Gian with a disappointed look on her face. But the Millennium General Manager didn’t even notice it, too busy yelling instructions at the security standing at ringside and, to everyone’s surprise, sending them to stop the trio who was now marching toward the ring. While everyone’s attention was on the outside, where a cordon of black dressed security member was standing between Bourbon, Andrews and Khan on one side and Hearst, Wilkow and Foley on the other, Rydell slid in the ring and broke the submission, leaving before Eliza, the only one who was still paying attention on what was going on inside the ring, could catch her. At the same time, Olivia slid the brass knuckles inside the ring, and Chris quickly wore it and punched Cole on the jaw, quickly removing the foreign object and kicking it out of the ring before planting the opponent on his head with the American Strong Piledriver scoring the second elimination. Rumachata Ayano: Cole Gregory has been eliminated! Thing started looking bad for Team Riot, now two men down. The next to step in, Eager to get his hands on Constantine, was Devin Hearst. But as soon as Chris saw him entering the ropes, CCJ immediately backed down into his corner and tagged himself out, a move that certainly didn’t earn the sympathy of the fans. Anyway Megan Rydell was now in the ring, trying to use her speed to her advantage against the former CWC International Champion. Her quickness gave her the early advantage, and Megan got close to the pinfall in a couple of occasions, after the Gamen-Girl Kick first and with a Phoenix Splash following a sling blade a minute later. In both occasions, Hearst kicked out in two, but it was pretty clear he needed to find a way to limit the former Cloud Gate Champion. And he managed to do it when he interrupted her series of forearm strikes with a knee to the stomach, quickly lifting her over his shoulders and dropping her down with a Samoan Driver. One move, and the momentum of the match shifted back in Devin’s favor. The bigger experience allowed him to keep control of the match, slowing down the opponent’s offense and, with that, the pace of the match. After wearing the opponent down with various chokes, including his trademark sleeper hold, Hearst started hitting her with the heavy artillery, getting close to the elimination with his Desperado (Throwing Release Suplex). There was still fight in Megan, determined to prove to Gian that she is the future of the green roster. After blocking a suplex attempt, she smacked him with a forearm to the face, doubling him over with a knee to the stomach and following with an overdrive. Devin kicked out from the pinfall attempt following a running shooting star press, slowly trying to push himself back up to his feet. Megan was right there, stalking him and waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike. Which soon came, and Rydell took a run at the ropes and connected with the Mega Kick (running single leg dropkick) to the face. Instead of making the cover, she turned around and yelled something at Constantine who, as the replay showed, made the tag to reap what Rydell sow. On her way out, Megan made sure Chris knew what she was actually thinking about him, so much for team comradeship. Ignoring her and the jeers of the sold out crowd who was booing him out of the building, Constantine went to finish off his archenemy, not without toying a bit with him before going for the kill. They were trading blows, and Chris seemed to be getting the best of the worn out opponent. Hearst might have been tired, but the idea of beating the proverbial crap out of CCJ was enough of a drive for him to turn things around with haymaker right between Chris’ eyes. This gave him the opportunity to land a few more direct shots before grabbing him by the wrist and sending him against the ropes. Reacting on instinct, Constantine reversed the irish whip and it was Hearst who rebounded against the ropes, coming back with a Yakuza Kick that knocked Chris down. Coincidentally, now that Chris was in difficulty, an old acquaintance of the Millennium fans showed up in Mexico City. The 7 foot giant known as Deacon Lewis stepped over the barricade with ease, and even more easily got rid of the security sent, once again, by Gian. Keeping his eyes locked on Devin’s, the behemoth entered the ring, standing now in front of the former CWC International Champion who didn’t seem impressed by the physical specimen who was towering over him. And then something happened, although not quite what the fans were expecting. Without taking his eyes off Hearst, Deacon grabbed his former employer by the throat, easily lifting him and dropping him down with a chokeslam. Hearst bursted out laughing, high fiving the giant on his way out before making the cover, scoring the first elimination in Team Millennium despite Dustin’s attempt to save his tag team partner blocked by Wilkow. Rumchata Ayano: “Chris Constantine Junior has been eliminated!” The match had lost one of his most awaited protagonists in the early moments, and in a way that certainly can be defined controversial. Since Dusty was already in the ring, the referee considered him legal, leaving him alone against Wilkow and Hearst. The Sandcastle Duo teamed up against the Murder Machine, simultaneously kicking him in the stomach and going for a double suplex. The referee eventually restored the order forcing Wilkow out of the ring. The one on one situation didn't last long, as Hearst quickly went to tag Andrew to exploit, once again, the numbers advantage. Double teaming Dusty and keeping him as far as possible from his corner was quite the successful strategy for Hearst and Wilkow, who got close to taking out the Chimera Corp member with a double ddt first and an atomic drop from Wilkow into a lariat from Devin. But the Murder Train was refusing to stay down tonight, feeling the weight of his brand on his shoulders, more so now that Constantine had been eliminated. And eventually, he managed to reach his corner and make the tag to Hammerstein after rebounding back from the ropes with a double clothesline. The Mexican fans certainly didn't forget the time Hammerstein spent in GOL, where he won the "Asshole of the year" award. And the reception they gave him was a loud round of boos, even growing in volume when he thought it was a good idea to rile up the already heated fans by showing them the middle fingers. Wilkow tried to take advantage of this distraction with his devastating LARIAAAT. Showing a great presence of mind, Hammerstein ducked it and countered with a kick to the stomach followed with a stunner. Hammy thought this would be enough to put the opponent away and made the cover, but he had another thing coming when Andrew kicked out in two. The two competitors kept hitting each other with hard strikes, the former Seattle Pro Champion gave proof of his technical ability and strength by connecting a Belly To Back Hammerplex on the Appalachian Mountain Monster. Despite Hammerstein’s dominant performance, Drew had a good comeback when he almost took Hammerstein’s head off with a running big boot. Dragging the American Monster to his corner, Wilkow tagged Hearst back in. The pair gave further proof of their ability as a tag team when the big man lifted Hammerstein on his shoulders in a powerbomb position and Devin leaped upwards grabbing the opponent and driving him onto his knees for a backbreaker. A couple of minutes later Hammerstein managed to break the siege the opponents were keeping him in with their continuous double team attacks. He was being set up from another powerbomb by Wilkow, but this time he broke free with a series of punches to the head. He then stunned Hearst with an elbow to the face, delivering a series of forearms to both opponents, eventually grabbing them by the back of their heads and smash them together. With no obstacles on his way, he finally reached the corner tagging the Murder Train back in. Dusty entered the ring and charged at Hearst, sending him flying across the ring with a massive shoulder tackle. Wilkow was easily lifted by the Big Nasty and dropped on his back with a powerslam, to which Dusty followed with a running senton. Once again Hearst entered the ring to break the pin and, not caring about the referee’s warning, kept hammering Douglas with blows to the back. Wilkow soon joined in the two of them taking the big man down to his knees strike after strike, with Hearst finishing him with a running Yakuza kick. He only left when Wilkow made the cover, confident that this was enough to take Dusty out of the match. The murder train happily proved him wrong, and not even Drew’s following LARIAAAATT! could keep him down. Actually, Dusty even found the strength for a short lived comeback, frustrated by a knee to the gut from Wilkow, who then whipped him into his corner and squashed him with a splash. Hearst tagged himself in and kicked the opponent multiple times, stomping him and pushing his boot against his throat once Dusty fell to a seated position. Another tag was made, this time Drew and Devin helped each other and lifted Douglas in a suplex position, dropping him on his head with a double brainbuster. Wilkow made the tag, and Dusty kicked out once again. Only, according to the referee, a moment too late. Everyone on the Millennium team protested, not about the timing (the replay proved that Dusty did indeed kick out after the three) but for the count itself, apparently faster than it should have been, Gian stood up to his feet, staring at the referee and then at Yulia in disbelief. Kirilenko herself seemed to be questioning the referee’s decision, but the official didn’t change his mind. Rumchata Ayano: “Dusty Douglas has been eliminated!” Outrage. That’s the best word to describe what happened after the elimination was formalized by Rumchata’s voice. The fans made their dissent heard in the form of a long, loud round of boos. The rest of Team Millennium stepped in the ring, where they were met by their counterparts of team Riot in an all out brawl. Even Gian seemed to lose his aplomb for a brief moment, taking a short step toward the ring before regaining his composure and sitting back on his chair watching the fight unfolding in the ring. One by one, people started being dropped on the outside, to the point that only four of them were left in the ring. Aella and Tobie battling in a corner and Megan taking on Wilkow. And while the referee had his back turned, trying to cast TNT and Foley out of the ring, sweet revenge struck for team Millennium. Dusty came back to the ring from the crowd, wielding a steel chair and smacking it across the head of Wilkow. Megan was quick to call the referee’s attention and make the cover, picking up an elimination and putting her team back on the lead with four members left against the three in Riot’s ranks. Rumchata Ayano: “Andrew Wilkow has been eliminated!” It’s in the moments of bigger need that you see a real leader. And Eliza Valentine wasn’t afraid to step up, entering the ring and staring at the young Rydell standing across her. It’s no secret how Megan looks up to the new Riot Champion, and you could tell by the smile on her face that she was happy to take on her. As they locked up, Megan quickly switched to a waistlock, lifting Eliza for a german suplex. The Riot Champion was quickly back to her feet and connected with a right hand to the jaw, grabbing the opponent by the arm and sending her against the ropes, hitting her with a dropkick as she rebounded back. Megan almost scored the upset of the night with a Fly-Dell (Phoenix Splash) after the Mega Kick, but Eliza still had some fuel left in her tank. The two went back and forth for a little longer, until EJV knocked the opponent out with a roundhouse kick, making the cover. Despite the bad blood between them, Tobie dove in and broke the pinfall, saving Megan who didn’t seem to happy about it, claiming that she was going to kick out and that TNT should stay out of her business. Megan had now left the ring to Luna after the tag, and she was still arguing with Tobie who, after glancing over at her boyfriend at ringside, decided to bite her tongue and don’t drag this any further. Inside the ring, Luna and Eliza were going at it, a fast paced match with a lot of near falls from both sides. Luna missed the Stardom (Sparkle Splash) after knocking the opponent down with her Discus Roundhouse Kick called Starstorm. The missed high risk move was her downfall, as Valentine immediately dropped her with the Mysterious Girl for the three count. Rumchata Ayano: “Luna has been eliminated!” Next up was Hammerstein, coming in like a house on fire and pushing Eliza away with The Pounce. Aella Foley broke up the pinning predicament, with a kick to the back of the American Monster, who didn’t seem too pleased with her interference. Towering over the Godkiller, Hammerstein turned his back on the champion and almost paid for it, kicking out just in the nick of time from Eliza’s schoolboy pin. The two wrestlers met in the middle of the ring and traded blows, Hammerstein came out on top of this exchange. After sending her against the ropes, he almost beheaded her with a big clothesline that turned the champion inside out. Eventually she was able to reach her corner and make the tag to Aella who, despite the size difference, brought the fight to the former Seattle Pro Champion. Her gameplan was simple and clear, work the legs of the bigger opponent. She had Hammerstein locked in a figure four, but the American Monster managed to drag himself to the ropes, breaking the submission. Pulling himself up, he kept the opponent away with a back elbow that stunned Aella. He followed with a series of uppercuts, sending her for a run against the ropes and drove his knee to her mid-section with a kitchen sink. He then stalked the opponent, waiting for her to get up to her feet with a devious smirk. As soon as she did, he applied a full nelson and lifted her up in the air, slamming her down in a powerbomb fashion. As per usual, he followed the Sitout Full-Nelson Powerbomb with the Python Sleeper, or at least he tried to. Aella was able to wiggle free and grab the right leg she had been working for a while now and locked him in a knee bar. Despite his resilience and ability to withstand a lot of punishment, Hammy had no choice left but to tapout. All of a sudden, the match was in Team RIot’s favor. Rumchata Ayano: "Hammerstein has been eliminated! Tobie didn't think twice before stepping into the ring and jumping on Aella, taking her down to the mat and dropping a series of forearms to her face. Tobie’s ruthless aggression riled up the fans, who started getting behind the blond French and team Millennium. Another part of the mexican crowd responded with Riot chants, and this seemed to give Aella energy to fight back, hitting TNT with a vicious roaring elbow that stunned the former [R]evo Tag Team Champion. The pair locked up once again in a clinch position from where Aella hit the opponent with knee strikes to the free floating ribs, doubling her over in pain. Aella followed with a Uchi Mata, a hip throw takedown. And once the fight was brought to the mat. she had definitely an advantage, keeping the high flier grounded and trying to choke her out. Tobie tried to get free, but her judo background didn’t seem to be helping her tonight. Foley definitely studied and learned from their last match, seemingly predicting her movements and react accordingly, maintaining the hold. It was getting hard for Tobie to breath, her face turning red and her strength giving out. She looked up at her partner, trying to stretch out with her hand, even though Megan was way out of reach. Rydell could have probably stepped in and break the submission, but instead she simply stood there, encouraging her team partner and even rallying the fans to get behind the french girl. It wasn’t the kind of help Tobie was hoping for but it still worked, helping her pushing through the pain and the fatigue and rolling to the side, eventually reaching the ropes. She used them to help herself up to her feet, defending herself from the charging opponent with a kick to the stomach. Aella came back at her, Tobie went for another kick but Foley grabbed her foot this time and dragged her back to the centre of the ring. Before she could take TNT down, the blonde girl jumped and connected with an enziguri to the side of the head, knocking her down. Nothing and nobody was now stopping Tobie from reaching her corner and making the tag to Megan, Slowly, she crawled toward her, now only a step away. Pulling herself up, Tobie dove toward Rydell’s extended hand… Missing the tag. Laughing at her, Megan dropped from the apron and waved goodbye to her partner, ironically blowing a kiss to Gian before walking up the ramp and disappearing backstage. The boos were deafening, a desperate Tobie was now leaning against the corner, facing a desperate 3 on 1 situation. She used this time to catch her breath, waiting for Aella to stand back up and approaching her. Another brawl followed, Foley easily came out on top and grabbed Tobie’s arm, ready to whip her in her team’s corner. Tobie grabbed the top rope with her free hand, stopping the opponent’s move and pulling her towards her, driving her knee into Aella’s midesction. A second, that’s all it took her to drop the Godkiller against the middle turnbuckle with a complete shot. She was quick to make the cover, scoring an elimination that kept her and Team Millennium’s hopes alive. Rumchata Ayano: “Aella Foley has been eliminated” The fans started to believe in the miracle, moreso when Tobie proved she still had fuel in her tank. holding her own against the Riot Champion and even obtaining a two count out of a shining wizard. She gave everything she had left, finding the strength to go that extra mile from the fact that her boyfriend’s job was on the line. Something that, you have to believe, was also putting a ridiculous amount of pressure on the young wrestler. Eliza and Devin on the other hand, didn’t seem to be in a rush to end the match, knowing that they have the experience and numbers advantage, something they exploited with frequent tags, always keeping the fresh man in the ring and wearing out Tobie. TNT kicked out from a Mysterious girl from Eliza and a Desperado from Devin, almost surprising the former Dog Of War with a cradle when he went to pick her up. Hearst kicked out, and the two competitors were now standing in front of each other. Tobie hit him with a right hook, Devin kicked her in the stomach and planted her with the Evenflow DDT. Much to everyone’s dismay, this was the end for Tobie. Team Riot won the match. WINNER: Team Riot BY: Elimination (Evenflow DDT), 43:28 |
Inside the ring, the referee raises Eliza and Devin's hand in victory. It's their moment, they are the heroes who took team Riot to victory, and the fans are celebrating them with a well deserved round of applause. Their General Manager, Yulia Kirilenko, joined the choir and, standing up to her feet, praised their effort clapping her hands with a big smile on her face. It didn't take long for the rest of the team, as well as some other superstars such as the new Junior Heavyweight Champion Adam Webb, a bruised Kelsey Spencer and many more to appear on the stage and joining the celebration.
A whole different mood for Gian, the loser of this battle and now former Millennium General Manager. He doesn't say a word as he stands up from his chair and offers a handshake to Yulia. The Russian starts saying something but he cut her short, heading now toward his girlfriend who was only now getting up just outside the ring. Exhausted, battered and almost on the verge of tears, Tobie looked up at Gian and apologized for failing him. He pulls her in for a hug, kissing her head and whispering how proud he was of her.
The couple is a king their way up the ramp to a mixed reactions from the fans. Some are chanting "Goodbye" to Gian, others are applauding Tobie for her valiant effort and, perhaps, thanking the former General Manager for his hard work. The camera cuts back in the ring, where the referee hands the Riot championship back to Eliza, who leaves the ring. A hand on her shoulder stops her. Needless to say, it's Devin Heart's. The former Dog Of War looks at the title laying on her shoulder and mouths "See you soon" before rolling out of the ring and walking backwards up the ramp, his eyes locked on Eliza, his hands clearly signaling the title around his waist.
