Singles Match
Tiny Des VS Archer YeomanArcher definitely impressed in his debut, taking on the always dangerous high flier Tiny Des ,even though he seemed to suffer the speed of the former BWF Sovereign Champion, probably because of some pre match nervosism. After sending Archer flying across the ring with a headscissors, Destiny sprinted at the ropes to gain speed and hit him with a shining wizard. Being close to the corner, she leaped on the top rope and bounced back with a split legged moonsault. Yeoman raised his knees countering the moonsault and immediately rolling the opponent on her shoulders for the first pinfall of the match. As minutes passed, Archer's confidence in his skill started growing, and the long time wrestling fan started showing what he's capable of, landing a nice striking combination and sending the opponent in the corner with an Irish whip, following up with a lungblower. Standing behind the opponent, he put her in an inverted headlock hooking the near arm with his free arm and pulled backwards and up, locking Tiny Des in a dragon sleeper. If, on one side, this showed that his submission game was on point, it also revealed how green Yeoman was, locking the hold way too close to the ropes and making it too easy for Des to force the break. Figgins' sister got very close to the win with her Destiny Drop (springboard reverse ddt), but Archer managed to raise his shoulder. The two competitors were trading blows in the middle of the ring. Archer landed a lucky right hand that stunned Tiny Des. Yeoman tried to follow with a superkick but Figgins moved out of the way, waiting for him to turn around. As soon as he did, she kicked him in the stomach and dropped him on his head with a snap ddt. Feeling the chance to win at hand, Des went for the Tiny Hammer (shining axe kick), dodged by Archer who then quickly rolled her up and held her down for the one, two, three. WINNER: Archer Yeoman BY: Pinfall (Roll-Up), 5:39 |
Minutes prior to his match against Crystal Hilton, Cole Gregory is focusing in the gorilla position. Hearing his name being called, he turns around to see Riot's General Manager Yulia Kirilenko walking toward him. The russian starts thanking Gregory for being an example of professionalis for the entire locker room. She adds that she's very proud of everything he accomplished as the first ever Invictus champion, and that he definitely set a high bar for Dean and all the champions to come. "That's why I think you'd be a perfect addition to the Riot team. I need an answer by the end of the night." Cole seems surprised by the request, but as soon as Yulia wishes him good luck and greets him, turning on her heels and walking away, he calls her back, and says that he'll be honored to accept.
2 on 1 Handicap Match
Zafar Khan VS Andrew Wilkow & Alan Envy Zafar's action last Wednesday on Millennium, and his loud mouth, turned a one on one match in a two on one situation, with Alan Envy joining Andrew Wilkow. The match saw Khan starting off strong against Drew, who was so eager to get his hands on the self proclaimed Forever Infinity Champion that his offense was disorganized and imprecise. He missed widely with a right hook, easily ducked by Zafar who kicked him hard on the back of the leg, bending him on his knee. He then hit the ropes and kicked Drew on the face with a running big boot, knocking the big man down and making the cover. The Appalachian Mountain Monster kicked out in one. Once Andrew managed to catch him mid air and drop him on his knee with a backbreaker, things took a bad turn for the cruiserweight. Wilkow tossed him in the corner and went down hard on him with a flurry of punches to the ribs and elbows to the face. He even risked a DQ when he started punching him with closed fists, and that was when Envy tagged himself in. The Lonestar kept the punishment going, connecting a buckle bomb/spinning spinebuster combination. Zafar surprisingly kicked out, trying a shy reaction with a weak kicking combination, countered with a forearm strike by Alan who then sent the opponent against the ropes and caught him with his pop up death valley driver. Pulling the opponent up by the hair, Alan pointed at his partner, almost asking the fans of the wanted to see Wilkow get his payback on Zafar. The answer the fans gave him, left no doubt. Alan tried to drag his opponent to the corner, despite his resistance. Perfectly understanding that his chances to win this match were close to zero, Zafar took the easy way out, kicking Alan right between the legs and taking the loss via DQ. WINNER: Alan Envy & Andrew Wilkow BY: DQ, 7:21 |
Zafar then tried to escape, but Wilkow chased him and reached him on the ramp, knocking him down with a devastating lariat from behind. The match was over, but Wilkow was far from done. He tossed Zafar against the barricades, charging at him for a big boot. Seeing Alan Envy finally getting back to his feet, visibly in pain, he gave the Show Stealer the opportunity to get some revenge, rolling Khan back in the ring and watching Alan as he dropped Zafar on his head with the Envious Demise. As if it wasn't enough, Andrew slid a table inside the ring and, with the help of Alan, put Khan through it with a double powerbomb.

Crystal Hilton VS Cole Gregory
After the knightning as the sixth member of the Riot team received by Yulia herself, Cole looked fire up and ready to prove himself against the Millennium star Crystal Hilton. The strong start the young british had was meant to prove that he deserved the trust the general manager had put in him, showing an early aggression that caught Hilton off guard. His lethal kicks hitting the target with absolute precision, never hitting the same spot to keep his offense unpredictable and harder to counter. He finished his sequence with a spinning heel kick that sent Crystal watching the ceiling, and Cole immediately tried to capitalize with a lateral press. Hilton kicked out in two and crawled to the ropes, using them to pull herself up. Gregory applied a waistlock and went for a belly to back suplex. Hanging on the top rope, Crystal managed to block his attempt, countering with a right elbow to the temple. Cole immediately lost his grip, staggering one step backwards. Crystal finally started building some offense with various shots to the face, eventually kicking Cole in the stomach and setting him up for double underhook ddt. This fire Crystal was bringing, quickly got extinguished when Cole caught her with a drop toe hold and kept her grounded, switching from a submission to another with great fluidity. Now trapped in an ankle lock, Crystal started crawling toward the ropes, getting inches away from them before Cole dragged her back to the middle of the ring, twisting her leg and applying more pressure. Screaming in agony and on the verge to tap out, Hilton suddenly pulled an ace off her sleeve and grabbed the referee’s shirt, yanking and sending him crushing against Cole. With the referee down and the opponent stunned, she hit Gregory with a low blow and immediately connected with the Rock & Roll (swinging snap ddt), making the cover. Her plan backfired as it took the referee a while to get in position and make the count, giving Cole enough time to complain. Of course she complained with the referee, but as the saying goes, you must lie in the bed you made. Or, in her case, lie on the floor after Gregory hit her with the Cole-Lateral damage (Springboard Roundhouse Kick), picking up the win at the end of a match he dominated for the most part. WINNER: Cole Gregory BY: Pinfall (Cole-Lateral Damage), 8:01 |

Smoke VS Charlie Webster VS Victoria Salinas VS Nikki KnightA week away from the PPV, this match represented a big opportunity for the four wrestlers involved to impress the General Manager and earn a spot on the card of Viva La Revolucion. Smoke quickly attacked the less experienced competitor, Charlie Webster, hitting her with some chops and uppercuts, while Nikki, willing to avenge last week's loss, launched herself on Salinas taking her down with a Lou Thesz Press and began raining down punches. Smoke grabbed Webster's arm and whipped her against the ropes but Charlie reversed it and jumped for a dropkick. The impact almost sent the RAWAF athlete through the ropes and outside the ring, but Smoke rebounded back and turned her inside out with a rebound lariat. Charlie rolled under the bottom rope, taking a break. Smoke them turned his attention to Nikki, who in the meantime took out Victoria with a super kick. The two wrestler kept trading blows until Salinas floored them both with a double springboard dropkick, making the cover on Nikki and obtaining a count of two. The trio kept fighting while Charlie rested on the outside. The Canadian was keeping both opponents at bay, looking in control despite their attempts to gang up on her. A kick to the midsection of Smoke, an elbow to keep Nikki at distance as she planted the British on his head with a spike ddt. Getting up to her feet with a kip up, she ducks under Knight's clothesline and hooks her arms to drop her with the Burning Desire (straight jacket neckbreaker slam). Webster slid back inside the ring to break the pin and tried to take advantage of the situation, pushing Victoria over the top rope and picked up Smoke, whipping him in the corner where she hit him with a running ass attack. Nikki Knight came in charging with both knees to Charlie's face, flopping her to a seated position with a snapmare and connecting with a vicious superkick to the back of the head. The subsequent pinfall attempt was broken up by the returning Smoke. The action remained too quick to be kept track of, the three wrestlers collecting neat fall after near fall. Three, because Charlotte kept herself away form the action for as long as possible, taking long breaks outside. Smoke connected with the snap STO called Under Pressure on Victoria Salinas. Before he could capitalize on it, Nikki Knight sneaked behind him and tried to roll him up. only getting a count of two before Smoke kicked out. The two were now trading right hands, and Knight was holding her ground against the Walsall Brawler. She was actually getting the upper hand, landing a series of quick jabs before going for the big right hook, ducked by Smoke who quickly went for his End Of The Tale (Pentagon Driver). Somehow the Canadian Knightmare was able to slip away and, after a knee to the stomach, she drove him face first to the mat with the Knightmare. Victoria was able to break the pin just before the three, picking up Nikki and stunning her with a devastating combination, ending with a chick kick that dropped the stunned Knight on her knees. Wasting no time and went for the Burning Desire (Springboard Facebuster). Victoria was already savoring the victory when Charlie forced her to turn around, kicked her in the stomach and hit her jumping piledriver, literally stealing the win after spending the majority of the match hiding outside the ring. WINNER: Charlie Webster BY: Pinfall (Jumping Piledriver), 12:41 |

Backstage at Riot we see Bree and her brother Dean wearing basic blue t-shirts. Bree’s says Bree on it while Dean’s says Not Teagan. He has the Invictus Title on his shoulder while Bree adds her Monster’s University hat to her ensemble.
Bree Smith:
So tonight we're taking on the Hooliganz. Tag Team action with my big bro who's also the Invictus Champion. Congratulations on the first round win by the way last Riot.
She gives him a punch on the arm with Dean barely flinching.
Dean Smith:
Thanks, Bree.
A smile emerges on his face.
Dean Smith:
Since I've won this title, I've been on quite an unstoppable path. I've defeated Nikki, Tiny Des, never by decision…
He glances at the camera making that point abundantly clear.
Dean Smith:
But with the PPV on the horizon, I thought why not help out my little sister with a tag team match.
Bree Smith:
Well you can't replace Teegs! But maybe some speed is what we need for this match because they're quick guys…. although…
Bree thinks to herself, showing she's studied some of the past Riot tapes.
Bree Smith:
Individually they kinda haven't won. Well Spectre did, thanks to a lot of help from CCJ. And Trey lost to the guy you defeated for that title. So I think we're in good shape to win. They'll never have the experience we have working together.
Dean rubs his chin, thinking on Bree's right.
Dean Smith:
Yeah, you're right there. Me and you have been partners ever since you could walk. Trey and Spectre also came from Nevada.
Bree looks at Dean a bit suspicious.
Dean Smith:
(Shrugging)
I did some digging.
Bree Smith:
Then we have to win tonight. HooligunnZ vs Smiths.
Bree turns her hat around while Dean pulls off his basic t-shirt to reveal his new Millennium shirt.
Dean Smith:
You bring the fight, Boys.
Bree drapes her arm around her brother.
Bree Smith:
We'll end it!

Tag Team Match
The HooligunnZ VS Dean & Bree Smith
Brother and sister teamed up for the first time against the HooligunnZ, a team that's making waves on Riot recently. Spectre tried to impose a quick pace to exploit his quickness, succeding in his plan at least for the first couple of minutes, when he hit the blonde with a series of quick kicks, the last one doubling over Bree and setting her up for a swinging neckbreaker, after which he made the tag to Trey. Cole brought his hard hitting style to the contest, connecting some forearms to the face before faking a right kick to the leg and hitting her with a left one, following with a single leg dropkick to the face. Working like a well oiled machine, the HooligunnZ were doing a great job at isolating Bree and keeping her away from the Invictus Champion. At least until Bree countering Spectre's belly to back suplex attempt with some well placed elbows, blocking the released belly to back/double knee gutbuster combination. With Spectre momentarily stunned, Cole charged at Bree, running into a spinning sideslam from the member of the BreeTee Committee. Spectre kicked her on her back as she was getting back to her feet, dropping her back to her knees. He then took a run at the ropes, rebounding back and charging at full speed toward Smith, who launched herself against the opponent and broke him in half with a devastating spear. She finally had the opportunity to make the tag to Dean, and she didn't waste it. The Invictus Champion entered the ring and immediately trampled Spectre with a shoulder tackle, throwing him near the ropes. Cole, still holding his abdomen after getting hit by Bree's wicked spear, staggered toward the centre of the ring, where Smith was waiting for him with the front kick he calls Down With The Door. He then lifted Trey over his shoulders in a fireman's carry position and dropped him on his knees with a double knee gutbuster, hooking the leg for a pinfall broken up by Spectre. Ignoring the referee's warning, he attacked the Invictus Champion with some swift kicks, until Dean caught his leg with his left hand and rocked him with a right punch. The distraction allowed Trey to recover, and planting Smith on his head with a reverse rana. Cole built some offense, taking the champion down with a sling blade and following with a standing moonsault, earning another near fall. But eventually Dean gained back control with a spinning backfist that knocked Trey down. Smith dragged the opponent to his corner and made the tag, leaving the ring and climbing to the top rope, while Bree lifted Cole on his shoulders. Dean jumped and connected with his Mean Dean (diving knee) to the back of the head as his sister dropped him with a sitout facebuster, making the cover for the three count. WINNER: Bree & Dean Smith BY: Pinfall (Sinister Smiths), 13:09 |
Inside her office, Yulia is talking at the phone. We only catch the last part of the conversation, but it's enough to understand that she's asking about Devin Hearst's condition. And by the look on her face when she closes the call, she didn't get the news she was hoping for.
Singles Match
Champion vs Champion
Liv Mercer VS Corey Grimes
The inaugural Riot Champion against the first ever Junior Heavyweight Champion collided one week before what will be their biggest challenge so far. It’s no secret that Liv has a date with the former Millennium Champion Eliza Valentine set for Viva La Revolucion, while Corey will see his title on the line in a triple threat against Zafar Khan and Adam Webb. But tonight, it was all about bragging rights, the chance of calling themself the best in RIot, and Grimes wasn’t shying away from the challenge. He went out all gun blazing since the opening bell, taking Liv by surprise with his quickness and agility. After a series of arm drags, he charged at the opponent and hit her with a dropkick to the knee, following with a running bulldog as she was getting up. Feeding off the fans energy, he exited the ring and jumped back in with a spectacular springboard 450, hooking the leg for the first near fall of the match. Mercer reaction was almost immediate, and it started with an eye rake to break Corey’s offense. After a few furious knees to the abdomen, she sent the Junior Heavyweight Champion into the corner and charged in for a corner lariat. With Corey now sitting against the lowest turnbuckle, the Riot Champion took a running and jumped on him with a cannonball senton, avoided by Corey who moved out of the way leaving under the bottom rope. He waited for her to get back on her feet and connected with the Flyin’ Grimes (springboard forearm smash) for a two count. Liv eventually got the momentum on her side, thanks to the distraction provided by her manager and boyfriend Oz Dalton that bought her enough time to recover after an enziguri kick from the Junior Heavyweight Champion. When Corey turned around, he was hit by a kick to the stomach/European uppercut combination. The Riot champion the lifted him for a beautiful northern lights suplex bridged into a pin and worth a count of two. The champion tried to keep the high flier grounded with a dragon sleeper, but Corey managed to reach the ropes and force the break. As he got back to his feet, Mercer went right back on the attack, eating an elbow to the face from Corey who was still trying catch his breath. Grimes then turned, leaning against the ropes. When the Riot Champion charged in once again, he raised his leg, kicking her on the face. Holding on the ropes, he used the momentum to roll over the top one and on the apron, jumping back in with a springboard hurricanrana that saw Mercer kicking out right before the three. Corey tried to keep the momentum going, but it was quickly shut down by a Roundhouse Kick from Liv, who then trapped him in the Liv Lock and obtained the win by submission. WINNER: Liv Mercer BY: Submission (Liv Lock) , 13;28 |
The former MWE Champion, Jetpack are already in the ring, waiting for their opponents. Eliza walks out to a mixed reaction from the Mexican fans, not that the few cheers she got seem to make any difference. Extremely focused, completely immersed in her role as the leader Riot needs, she walks down the ramp stopping at ringside. Her eyes remain locked on Penny and Jet even when "Passive" by A Perfect Circle blares out of the loudspeakers, and Aella walks out of the curtain. Confident as always, the Godkiller makes her way to the ring. She only took a couple of steps when one of the stage hands springs and runs over the young Foley, pushing her off the stage and sending her through a table. The momentary shock turns into loud boos as the staff members is revealed to be Hammerstein. The American Monster flips the bird at the Riot fans laughing at their jeers, jumping off the stage and picking up Foley, shoving her against the barricades and stomping her chest and face. Security quickly rushes to the scene, dragging Hammerstein away before he could do more damage. The medic personnel followed right behind them and, after a quick look at Foley, they declared her unfit to compete.
Singles Match
Jet Blanchard VS Eliza Valentine
Nobody was really surprised when Penny, suggested that the Riot General Manager rescheduled this match as a singles, rather than having it being a 2 on 1 handicap match for the former MWE Tag Team Champions. And Yulia was happy to agree, sitting at ringside to watch closely this main event between Eliza Valentine and Jet Blanchard, with Penny relegated to the role of "cheerleader" for her tag partner. Jet and EJV locked up in the center of the ring, trying to overcome each other in a test of strength. The Georgian obviously was getting the best of it, which pushed Valentine to a sudden change of strategy. She stomped his foot, following with a headbutt to the bridge of the nose. An unorthodox offense, for sure, but very effective. She then sent Blanchard against the ropes, waiting for him with her arm extended for a clothesline. Jet ducked it and kept running, jumping on the middle rope and flying back with a crossbody. Instead of keeping Eliza down for an early, over-ambitious pinfall attempt, he rolled through, jumping with a standing dropkick that sent the former Millennium Champion through the ropes and outside the ring. Nowhere was safe with Jet tonight, who made it back to his feet with a lip up and launched himself through the ropes with a suicide dive, taking down Eliza. After a first part of the match where pretty much dominated by Jet, the number one contender for the Riot championship was able to impose her own pace, resisting an irish whip attempt and pulling Blanchard in for a short arm clothesline. She tried to keep control with some simple holds, like a chinlock, a headlock and a hammer lock when Blanchard stood up. The former MWE Tag Champion wrestled his way out of it, facing now Eliza and placing his head under her chin, dropping down to a seated position and getting himself some space with a sitout jawbreaker. For the nth time in this match the momentum had shifted, and Jet lifted Eliza for a vertical suplex, keeping her upside down for various seconds before finally driving her to the mat, transitioning into a pin in one fluid motion. Valentine kicked out in two, and the pair started trading shot after shot in a prolonged brawl that saw Eliza getting the upper hand, landing a series of hard strikes, setting him up for a ddt. Once again Jet kicked out and tried to turn things around. But his spinning wheel kick missed the target, allowing EJV to close the match with the Mysterious Girl. WINNER: Eliza Valentine BY: Pinfall (Mysterious Girl), 12:52 |
