Singles Match
Pinhead VS Teddy SteeleTeddy Steele's confidence, all the swag that always characterized the Black Sexy Teddy immediately dropped when the giant figure of Pinhead stepped out of the curtain. And the entire Salon plunged in a surreal silence filled with awe for the 7 foot 385 pounds of humanity that slowly made his way to the ring. Teddy tried to impose his pace to the match, coming off strong since the start with a series of quick kicks. His attack though seemed to be lacking a clear strategy. Teddy should have come into this match with a better strategy, the most obvious being targeting the legs, notoriously a weak spot for competitors of Pinhead's size. His disorganized attacks barely affected the giant who seemed to absorb the blows, almost mocking Teddy and letting him try. Then it only took Pinhead one shot to turn the tables. A massive right hand straight to the jaw knocked down Steele who, to his credit, was able to raise the shoulder avoiding an embarrassing defeat. As admirable as his fighting spirit was, it became soon clear that Teddy was just delaying the inevitable and prolonging his agony. Pinhead was literally doing everything he wanted, tossing Steele around like he was a rag doll. Showing a discrete technique, the human mountain connected a belly to belly suplex, a German and a stalling vertical one, before picking up Kate's husband and dropping him violently into the corner, following the buckle bomb with a devastating corner splash, flaunting an impressive speed for such a big man. Teddy was almost out, but with a pride driven reaction, he managed to land some kicks, finally aiming for the legs. After a low dropkick, the giant was finally down to his knee. Seeing this as his best option, Steele hit the ropes and rebounds back at full speed, driving his knee to Pinhead's skull and knocking him flat on his back. He then made the cover, getting literally tossed away when a pinhead kicked out in two. It took him only one more minute to finally win Teddy's resilience over and pin him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb he calls The Dominique Tribute, picking up a convincing win in his Riot Debut. WINNER: Pinhead BY: Pinfall (The Dominique Tribute), 5:16 |
Backstage now and Yulia Kirilenko's office door bursts open. Out storms Melissa Reeves, clearly angered. She nearly takes the cameraman out, shoving him aside.
He follows Melissa as she walks away, before looking back into the office. Yulia watches on and sighs, sitting back in her chair and shaking her head.

Krissy Spencer VS Tiny DesA second debut took place in Acapulco tonight. Kristina Spencer cousin of the fan favorite and fellow Riot roster member Kelsey stepped for the first time in a MWE ring, facing Destiny Figgins. The two women started the match walking in circles, looking for an opening in the opponent's defense to land that first strike. And it was Kristina who got the early advantage when she lured Des in a test of strength, surprising her with a knee to the stomach. Following with a couple of chops, the Wicked One then sent the opponent against the ropes, catching her with a dropkick on the rebound. Fearing Tiny Des' speed and her unpredictability, Kristina kept the high flier grounded with a series of body and head locks. Des eventually freed herself and started fighting back, landing a kicking combination that left Krissy stunned. Figgins went for an Irish whip, reversed by the opponent who then waited in for her to come back. Tiny Des anticipated her with a leg lariat and went for a quick cover, only getting a two out of it. Destiny’s career in Riot has been quite a roller-coaster, a lot of ups and downs and little to none continuity. Tonight she was doing her best to spoil the debut of the Wicked One, dropping her on her head with a springboard reverse ddt. Tiny Des took another run at the ropes and this time landed on the opponent with a beautifully executed springboard moonsault. Kristina kicked out in two, Destiny pulled her up and whipped her against the ropes. Spencer reversed the move and charged in, hitting her with a knee to the stomach as soon as she rebounded from the ropes. Flipping her to a seated position with a snapmare, Kristina then kicked her hard on the back, taking a run to the opposite side of the ring and coming back with a shining wizard. She made the cover from which Tiny Des kicked out in two. The match went on and Spencer got some momentum rolling, becoming more and more confident and even finding the chance to have a Handful Of Fun, catching Des with a boobplex. But the fun and games came to an end when moments later, when she ended a striking combination with the heart punch called Hand Of The Wicked to get her first win. WINNER: Kristina Spencer BY: Pinfall (Hand Of The Wicked), 7:14 |
Everything comes into focus and that is when we see Crystal Zdunich. She smiles as she is sitting proudly in a Hollywood like chair. She flicks her purple hair as she is wearing a pair of shades. A big smile on her lips as her paparazzi gather around her and she has a lot of people doing work on her. Someone is messing with her makeup while someone else is touching on her hair, along with somebody doing her nails.
Crystal Hilton:
Long behold you saw me competing in Mexico and guess what?! I got shit done. I handled mine. I went out to that ring and did exactly what I was supposed to do. I got a big fucking win yet as great as it was to win. As amazing as it felt to actually go to the ring and beat the living shit out of somebody I still feel like the respect just isn’t there. What must I do in order to prove myself?! How many wins do I need to build up just so all of you can actually take me seriously?! I bet the answer is I have to keep it going and the thing is that is what I intend to do. I plan to keep winning and making all of the critics eat their words.
Crystal smiles as she looks at her nails before she slowly looks back at the cameras.
Crystal Hilton:
It feels really good to be me but yet here I am on a Riot show… I fucking hate this show and I have to step in the ring with the likes of Alan Envy. I know for a fact I deserve better much better than this and I am not going to stop until I find myself moving up the rankings. I don’t really give a shit about anything other than myself. If this company isn’t focused on me then it’s not focused on anything at all. Just look at me I am the woman who has over 16 years of competing under her belt and my dream is to be in the ring with Rebecca Saint. That is all I ever wanted to do yet I need to go through hurdles and people question if I even have the talent or ability anymore. People are quick to wonder if I can wrestle or if I am even taking things seriously. You all should know the answer to that question. Of course it’s a yes and I will do whatever it takes to make sure my name is in bright lights. I will make sure my name is the only thing that you guys think about.
Crystal’s hair is being curled as she smiles nodding her head in agreement as she looks deeper into the camera.
Crystal Hilton:
I hear the words that are being thrown around. People are quick to call me washed up or that I don’t have it anymore. When I do win commentators are shocked like it’s some type of upset. When the fuck did I become a joke on this wrestling industry?! Things shouldn’t be looked upon like that. I know I am far better than what I am getting credit for. I deserve nothing but respect. I deserve to be in the limelight, and deserve to get all of the praise and adoration. I will be respected and if this company wants to build me as being Crystal Hilton you are going to get the Hollywood Bitch that doesn’t take any shit. You are going to get me being a straight up cunt and I will trample on whoever dares to get in my way. I am tired of everyone doubting me. I am tired of haters in general.
Crystal scoffs as she shakes her head and continues to speak into the microphone.
Crystal Hilton:
So tonight I will continue to make an impact. Tonight I will go out to that ring and will continue to show why I am climbing back up the ladders of success. So tonight it’s Alan and after that let’s just keep things moving shall we?! You better prepare Alan because tonight it’s Showtime and it’s time to roll the credits on your career. See you soon.
With that Crystal pie faces the camera as we go elsewhere.

Crystal Hilton VS Alan EnvyIn his second match on Riot, Alan Envy was set to face Crystal Hilton who recently seemed to have found a new attitude, picking up a good win against Jason Kortare last week. And even tonight the purple haired former multi time champion had a strong start, wasting no time to assault the Lonestar with her series of swift kicks. Alan tried to protect himself, and he even blocked one of those kicks grabbing Crystal’s leg, but Hilton was quick to counter with an enziguri. She then proceeded to stomp him to the ground, until Alan rolled out of the way and under the bottom rope, finding a safe spot on the apron. Or so he thought. The Blossoming Rose was giving him no break and, standing inside the ring, kept kicking Envy dropping him down on the floor. Crystal waited for him to get up and jumped on the outside with a plancha, finding Envy ready to grab her mid-air and slamming her to the mat. A short fight on the outside followed, ended with an apron bomb by Alan who quickly tried to capitalize on it, rolling Hilton back in the ring and making the cover for a count of two. The central part of the match saw Alan getting very close to the win with his trademark pop up death valley driver, with Hilton able to kick out just in the nick of time. He then picked up the opponent and went back to work, wearing her down with heavy strikes to the ribs leading up to a rib breaker followed with another pinfall attempt. Crystal needed to find a way to get back into the match. And she resorted to one of his many tricks, removing the protective pad from the turnbuckle and, while the referee had his back turned to the action to put it back into place, she kicked the poor Alan right between the legs and applied a front facelock, dropping him on his head with a ddt. By the time the referee turned his attention back to what was going on in the match, Crystal was already performing her Smell The Roses (Handspring Standing Moonsault) obtaining another fall. The match kept going on a quick pace, slowing down when they approached the ten minutes mark and fatigue started showing. This seemed to favor Envy who gained back control and and dropped the opponent on her face with a Gordbuster. Like a shark smelling blood, he stalked Crystal waiting for her to get up and kicked her in the stomach, nailing her with the Envious Demise. A huge pop accompanied the Riot superstar who was now ready to make the cover and then… All the lights went out, leaving the fans buzzing about what was going on. Half a minute passed before the lights came back, Alan was still standing next to the laying opponent with a surprised look on his face. And he was even more surprised when Hilton rolled him up and grabbed a handful of trunks, keeping him down for the three count. WINNER: Crystal Hilton BY: Pinfall (roll up), 10:38 |
The camera cuts to a hallway backstage. A couple of MWE stagehands and security guards are laying in the hallway. The camera follows the trail of bodies that leads, unsurprisingly, to the Murder Train himself. Dusty Douglas is standing with his arms crossed on his chest in front of a closed door. A plate on it reads "Production" and from inside, the unmistakable laughter of Chris Constantine Junior resounds.
And suddenly, the mysterious blackout during Alan's match makes a lot more sense.

Trey Cole VS Cole GregoryThe former Invictus Champion Cole Gregory made his return to Riot tonight in a match against Trey Cole, who’s making quite an impact in MWE as one half of the HooligunnZ. The two Coles squared up in the middle of the ring, locking horns and starting to trade holds. Gregory moved behind Trey and brought the fight to the ground with a waistlock takedown, counting on his mat wrestling ability to lock him in a submission. Tonight he had his work cut out for him as Cole showed a great technique as well, escaping the headlock and getting up to his feet having the former Invictus champion in a wristlock. Once again the british wrestler was able to reverse it and apply a hammerlock, lifting Trey for a suplex from that position. The pace of the match picked up when the HooligunnZ member resisted the figure four attempt kicking Gregory away and quickly getting back to his feet with a kip up, ducking the former champion’s right hook and doubling him over with a reverse side kick- He then followed with a rising kick to the chest and an elbow smash. Gregory stumbled back in the corner after the impact and Trey came charging in at him from the opposite side, tossing him back in the centre of the ring with a monkey flip. Another great display of athleticism from the Father Of Finesse who jumped back on his feet with a kip up and from there stepped on the middle rope to jump on the top one and flip backwards with a moonsault, landing on the opponent for a pinfall. Trey was really stealing the show tonight, his flamboyant style winning him new fans here in Mexico with moves like a lightning quick combinations like the one that saw him taking Gregory down with a drop toe hold and after a handstand flip on the downed opponent, kicking him in the face with a dropkick. Not even this move was enough to keep the former Invictus Champion down, and neither could the corner exploder suplex he performed moments later. Cole seemed to be struggling a bit, perhaps switching from the Invictus division back to the regular one was requiring some time to adapt. But as minutes passed, he started to come out, relying on his striking game to wear down the opponent. To catch the proverbial two birds with one stone, he aimed at his legs, to affect his speed and agility. He finished the sequence with a spinning heel kick that took the tag team specialist down, He then waited for him to stand up and hit him with a running knee to the side of the head. He tried to go for a cover, but Trey kicked out again. The former Invictus Champion maintained control now, landing a series of german suplexes, releasing the opponent after the third and last one. Gregory charged in for a shining wizard, ducked by Trey who quickly rolled him up almost stealing the win. Once again they met in the middle of the ring, trading forearm shots. Cole grabbed the HooligunnZ by his arm and sent him against the ropes with an irish whip, or at least that’s was his intention. Trey countered it and it was the Manchester born who rebounded back, lowering himself under the opponent’s leapfrog and hitting the ropes on the opposite side and jumping back with a springboard roundhouse. Trey Cole dropped flat on his back after the Cole-Lateral Damage, failing to kick out before the three. WINNER: Cole Gregory BY: Pinfall (Cole-Lateral Damage), 9:57 |
And now the cameras go backstage to find the inaugural and former MWE Tag Team Champions Jet Blanchard and Penelope Kaplan as Jetpack get ready for their upcoming match. Penny is checking her boots as Jet notices the camera and he turns to it with a smouldering Georgia Boy smile before he gestures lightly between himself and Penny.
Jet Blanchard:
Y’all hear it I’m sure, all the time, that tag team wrestlin’s dead. Well, we all know that’s a big ol lie, but people gotta have something to make some hack content for their podcasts and websites, right? Gotta get that clickbait rollin’ and that ad revenue pourin’ in.
Penny straightens up and goes to stand next to her long time friend and partner, flipping her ponytail to make sure it’s behind her shoulder before she speaks up brightly.
Penny Kaplan:
Yep. It’s one of those zombie horses, there’s a line of them that come up when people wanna banter, and that one’s been around longer than anybody actively wrestling today. I mean anybody, even Paddy Costigan. But tonight we’re going to face a team that we’ve been expecting. We’ve faced them, defeated them, you know, like we do. Thing is? We wanted real bad to face them again while we had the MWE Tag Team Championships.
Jet Blanchard:
We never forgot about them like some of y’all, and that’s a fact. Shame that they didn’t get around to a nice one on one before, but this is all part of going back after those titles.
Penny holds up a hand, finger extended towards the camera in the Harrison Ford Point.
Penny Kaplan:
We were the first, and well… if we get our ducks in a lil row, we’re going to have them again. We’re passionate about wrestling, especially tag team wrestling, and every fan out there knows it. Be it here in the US or down in Australia, we always show the goods.
Jet Blanchard:
Penny.
Penny Kaplan:
We walk the walk after we talk the talk!
Jet Blanchard:
Penny...come on now.
Penny Kaplan:
EVEN OUR MUSIC SAYS MAKE WAY FOR THE CHAMPIONS.
Jet Blanchard:

Penny blinks, and looks owlishly at Jet.
Penny Kaplan:
Huh?
Jet Blanchard:
Come on girl, we gotta get down ringside ours is next.
Penny Kaplan:
OH. Okay let’s go!
She pats him on the arm and then races out of the area ahead of him, leaving Jet to shake his head and crack a grin as he follows her at a slower pace.
Jet Blanchard:

Tag Team Match
Jetpack VS The Mighty Now Thrive
The former Tag Team Champions Jetpack saw their reign coming to an end at The Great White North after 123 days, without them being involved in the decisive pinfall. Tonight was back to square one for the former champions who took on The Mighty Now Thrive. Null started things off for his team, taking on Jet in what turned out to be a quick paced contest since the start. The wolf boy picked up a near fall only a minute into this match with a hurricanrana. Jet’s reaction didn’t take long and saw him taking Null down with a springboard crossbody block and following with a single leg dropkick to the face. He made a cover as well, but the Big Wolf On Campus kicked out in two. The experience advantage was clearly on the former champions’ side, and they did the usual great job exploiting it and staying in control with quick tags, always keeping the fresh opponent in and Null away from his partner. Jet whipped Null in his corner, charging in at full speed and hitting him with a jumping knee. Penny took the tag and when her partner left the ring, she stepped in, grabbing the wolf boy by the back of his head and slamming him down with a bulldog. Penelope hit him with a series of open hand chops before connecting a snap suplex and floating right into a pinning predicament, obtaining another near fall. Null needed to make the tag desperately, amd he had the best chance to get to his corner after catching Penny with a codebreaker. Exhausted, he started crawling slowly toward Kid Terra, who was eagerly waiting to get into the ring. He was almost there when Jet, who just received the tag from PenPen, grabbed his foot, stopping his march. Out of desperation, Null flipped forward and the momentum sent Blanchard face first against the TMNT corner. Finally the wolf boy reached his partner, who entered the ring with a slingshot dropkick to Jet who was sitting in the corner. Kid Terra looked in great shape, keeping control by constantly hitting Blanchard with his educated feet, leaving the Georgia born no room to breath, let alone building some noteworthy offense. Things changed when he managed to escape a belly to back suplex attempt and tag Penny in. The former tag champion entered the ring and took Kid, who was still dizzy after Jet’s elbow shots, down with a lariat. She had another one in store for him when he stood up, and a third as well. She then kicked him in the mid section, bending him over and setting him up for the Penelope Code. Having it scouted, Kid Terra moved out of the way as soon as he saw Penny hitting the ropes, catching her with a snap german suplex. A beautiful 450 splash was the closest Kid Terra could get to the win. and it needed Jet’s intervention to keep the former champions’ in this match. Even in this moment of difficulty, a world class athlete like Penny found a way to turn the tides back in her favor, targeting what was known to be Kid’s weak point, that heavily bandaged left shoulder. After dropping him down with an arm ddt, Penny grabbed and twisted his arm in a wristlock, walking to the corner where she made the tag to Blanchard. He climbed on the top rope and jumped, hitting the hyperextended arm with a double axe handle. It took him less than two minutes working on that spot before going for his finishing move, the Sweeter Than A Peach (Crucifix Armbar with Neckscissors) that left Terra no other option but to tap out. WINNER: Jetpack BY: Submission (Sweeter Than A Peach), Time |
Camari Hayre:
Kelsey Spencer, a big night for you tonight as you face Victoria Salinas for a chance to advance in the Battle For The Briefcase.
Kelsey Spencer:
It sure is. You know, this is a match that was originally scheduled to happen somewhere else; in another promotion, for a championship that was once considered pretty prestigious. But, for whatever reason, that just didn't end up happening.
The Australian raises her hands and nods, forgivingly.
Kelsey Spencer:
That's okay, though. The past is the past and we're here tonight in this beautiful seaside city Acapulco-
Fans jump in with a loud cheer.
Kelsey Spencer:
And we're ready to give these awesome Guerrero fans a match they've been asking for. A match they - and many fans around the world - thought they'd never get a chance to see. Kelsey Spencer versus Victoria Salinas.
She pauses momentarily for a hard swallow.
Kelsey Spencer:
It's No Disqualification tonight, meaning anything can and will happen out there. And I'd be a darn fool to look past Victoria. She's an athlete who's travelled around the world and dedicated her life to honing her craft, much like me. I mean, you saw it on display last week when she had a very impressive first round win over Luna, and as the fans will tell you, that's something that takes talent. See, a victory like that is proof that Victoria Salinas is right where she belongs in MWE. On the Riot brand. And a victory tonight will further cement that fact for her. On any other night, against any other opponent, I'd be happy to see her succeed.
Her motions are suspended in time as she lowers her hands, along with the tone of her voice.
Kelsey Spencer:
But a win for Victoria tonight means a loss for me, and I can't afford to let that happen. I've got that MWE Championship squarely in my sights, and winning that briefcase is my golden opportunity to get there. As much as I may respect Victoria Salinas as a competitor - and believe me, it's a heck of a lot - she, nor anybody else is gonna stand in my way when it comes to Battle For The Briefcase!
That trademark Spencer fire flares up, just as it did on Millennium last week. However, this time, something seems a little different. Could it be the passion within the 30-year-old reignited by a long-awaited match with a world class rival? Or is it the idea that a win tonight will inch her even closer to that all-important briefcase?
Whatever the case may be, Kelsey is looking like her old self once again.
Kelsey Spencer:
This is more than just a tournament for me. I'm on a quest now. A quest to be the best. And tonight, that quest continues in either one of two scenarios; with Victoria Salinas tapping out, or her shoulders to the mat.
She grins as the sound of the crowd's chants and cheers can be heard, and gives a stern nod of the head.
Kelsey Spencer:
Either way, tonight's chapter of my story ends with the official raising my hand as the victor.

Invictus Rules
Dean Smith VS Nikki KnightInvictus Rules
First match as a champion for Dean Smith, against a veteran of the ring such as Nikki Knight. First Round: This wasn’t the first rodeo for Nikki in the Invictus Rules match. And she choose a careful approach to begin with, keeping herself away from Dean’s dangerous strikes. The first two minutes saw the Canadian playing defensive, dodging the straight punches Dean was throwing at her and hitting him at any given chance with swift kicks to the legs. The strategy seemed to be paying off, frustrating Dean who hadn’t landed a single punch yet and forcing him into making a mistake, leaving himself exposed in the attempt to catch the opponent with a lariat. Nikki ducked under it and immediately dropped him on her knees with a backstabber, working on his back on the ground with knee strikes and stretches. She made the mistake of trying a camel clutch, giving the much bigger opponent a chance to turn the tides simply by standing up and running back against the turnbuckle. Once free, he began hitting her with a series of uppercuts, having to stop after the second since the bell rang, signaling the end of the first round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Knight 10-9 Dawson: Knight 10-9 Valero: Knight 10-9 Second Round: Losing the first round as a champion wasn’t exactly how Dean hoped to start his reign. Determined to do a whole lot better in this second one, he exploded out of his corner and ran through the opponent, knocking her down with a shoulder tackle. Nikki made hit back to her feet only to be hit by a throat strike that left her breathless and exposed to a series of knee strikes from a clinch position. One of those strikes must have hit her on the nose, causing it to bleed lightly. This didn’t stop Dean who grabbed her arm and sent her against the ropes, catching her with a spinning side slam. We were under two minutes in this round, and Dean was ready to close this match, waiting for Nikki to get up while perching on the top rope, ready to strike with his Mean Dean (Diving knee strike). And he didn’t miss the target, picking up the win. WINNER: Dean Smith BY: KO (Mean Dean), Round 2; 1:50 |
Charlie Webster is waiting for his opponent, seemingly ready and focused on the task at hand. Zafar's music hits and the high flier appears on the stage. As soon as he does, "Start A Riot" by DUCKWRTH & Shaboozey abruptly stops. Khan freezes on the spot, wondering what is going on. Suddenly, "Loser" by Beck replaces the original theme song, and the titantron shows some highlights of Zafar's worst moments in Millennium. From the first time he got beaten up by Dusty, Constantine and Olivia, to his controversial loss against Yoji Kojima, as well as other shortcomings.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out this is Constantine messing around again. And it's almost like you could hear him laughing in distance, over Zafar's cursing and the fans' loud boos. Nonetheless, Khan made it to the ring and the match could finally start.

Singles Match
Zafar Khan VS Charlie WebsterBell is sounded & Khan infuriated by Charlie's words tries to go on the offensive immediately but Webster wraps herself in the ropes preventing this to be possible. She demands the referee back Zafar up who after a few moments does as he's told while Charlie Webster grins ear to ear. He attempts to push the action again but the savvy Webster rolls out of the ring smirking still. Fed up with her antics Zafar Khan follows her outside the ring but walked right into her trap. Charlie turns around just in time to catch him with a forearm to the jaw. She hurls him into the barricade then into the ring apron & then back into the barricade. Webster takes a few steps back before connecting with a running knee to Zafar's jaw. She rolls into the ring & demands the referee count faster trying to win by any means necessary. However at the count of seven Khan is able to get back inside much to Charlie Webster's dismay. She stalks him while he crawls on his hands & knees then delivers a few kicks to the rib cage. Charlie goes off the ropes looking for another running knee strike but Zafar Khan is able to catch her flush with a dropkick that put her on the mat. Webster rolls out of the ring thinking she's escaped but the crowd comes alive as he takes her out with a massive suicide dive. The momentum shifting Khan throws her back into the ring & climbs up on the ring apron. He waits before springboarding off the top rope catching Charlie with a clothesline followed by a pin but he only manages a two count. Zafar goes back outside on the apron & looks to repeat with another springboard clothesline but at the last second ducks but was not aware Khan landed on his feet. She turns around but gets a bicycle knee kick to the jaw for her troubles. He follows up with a roundhouse kick but it's ducked and Charlie Webster locks him into a sleeper hold. Zafar Khan reaches out for the ropes but is a display of amazing strength Webster dumps Khan on his head with a sleeper suplex! Charlie goes into a pin but Zafar kicks out at two. A infuriated Charlie Webster screams then quickly as possible delivers a second sleeper suplex but only gets two again! She pulls at her hair & pounds the mat before nailing a third sleeper suplex. Charlie pins him immediately & yet another two! She begins to angrily mock Khan with harsh & vile words much like from her promo earlier. Reminding him that nobody cares & that he's just a loser. Webster locks in the piledriver but Zafar Khan slips free & superkicks her in the knee. She clutches the knee in pain & he superkicks the other knee taking both legs out. However this doesn't stop her berating him more words. Charlie reminds him of all his failures & how useless he is to the roster. Khan paces around & looks to be seething before deciding to silence her with a superkick to the jaw. In a scene we haven't seen since the match with Yoji he opts to lift her up & superkick her in the mouth again. A furious Zafar picks her back for a third time but now the referee steps in demanding he finish the match & just pin her. He eyes the official for a few seconds before striking Charlie with a sickening superkick to the back of the head. The ref gives him one final warning that he pin her or else. Khan walks around enraged but decides it's not over & wants to deliver a fourth superkick to her which bring the referee to pull him off. Zafar Khan shoves the ref down & begins to just stomp repeatedly on the back of Webster's skull. The referee calls for the bells clutching his back from the fall & the match is over. WINNER: Charlie Webster BY: Disqualification, 11:18 |
Zafar Khan can't believe what the referee just did & screams at him with absolute hatred while the fans turn on him with immense boos. He superkicks the official in the temple as he tries to stand up. The fans jeer him louder & louder as this hatred filled Khan rolls out of the ring then paces around. Zafar grabs a chair from under the ring then slides back in as Webster is trying to crawl to safety. He begins slamming the chair into her back numerous & eventually several officials plus guards are on the scene. They separate Zafar from Charlie & with a struggle remove the chair from his hands. Khan enraged superkicks the nearest body he could then another before being mobbed by all these stagehands. They force him outside the ring then order him to go backstage. A few officials look after Charlie Webster while Zafar Khan walks up the ramp looking at what he's done. He pauses on top of the stage & grins despite the audience still booing him. A proud Khan heads to the back while security flanks him from all sides.
The camera catches up with June Oikawa as she is standing outside the locker room area. She gives the cameraman a quick nod before she speaks.
June Oikawa:
It feels as if we have been here once before. NEON and OMI are on the other side of that door, getting ready to face the BreeTee Committee. A team they have pinned to gain championship contention in the past. The very team they pinned in the triple-threat match to win the MWE Tag Team Championship belts in the first place.
She pauses for a moment or two.
June Oikawa:
How will this match be any different?
She tilts her head to the left just a bit as she thinks to herself.
June Oikawa:
I am sure you all at home are not ignorant to how wrestling works. Therefore, allow me to pose a question to you―what happens to most newly crowned champions?
There’s a rhetorical pause.
June Oikawa:
Many people become content and lax after they finally obtain that highly sought after prize. They become too focused on the chase; there was little gas in the tank for the reign. However, that is not case with The Happy Few. Not at all.
June folds her arms across her chest.
June Oikawa:
It’s true that trio have not been on camera much, not as of late. And do you know what they’ve been doing with their time? They’ve been training. They have been hard at work. Because for them, winning the MWE Championship and MWE Tag Team Championships were not the end of the road―those victories were merely the first crucial steps.
There’s a moment of brief silence before June speaks again.
June Oikawa:
I asked how this upcoming match would be different than the previous ones. And honestly, the answer is quite clear. NEON and OMI? The Happy Few? The MWE Tag Team Champions? They will be coming into the match with a fire that you all have not seen before. As I stated before, winning the belts was not the end-goal. The end-goal was to defeat the best that Millennium had to offer. The end-goal was to prove that their authentic style of Japanese wrestling was superior than all the counterfeits. The end-goal was to prove that they are the best…
A brief silence lingers.
June Oikawa:
They have made great strides, but they haven’t reach those goals yet. And the BreeTee Committee? They stand in the way this week. And you are quite aware of what happens when people stand in The Happy Few’s way…
The camera lingers on June for a moment. And then it fades out.

Tag Team Match
BreeTee Committee VS The Happy Few
In their first appearance as the MWE Tag Team Champions, OMI and NEON paid visit to the Orange brand to take on the BreeTee Committee in what could be seen as a rematch fro Teagan and Bree. Smith was the chosen one to start things off for her team against OMI, hoping her unmatched power would give the challengers an early advantage. And that’s what happened despite OMI coming off strong with her lethal kicks. As already happened to the japanese in the past, once her mind is set on a particular objective she’s unlikely to go out of her way. Bree caught her leg and hit her with a left hand to the jaw, throwing her backwards with an exploder suplex. OMI stood up just in time to see Bree charging at her at full speed, anticipating her with a low dropkick to the leg. Smith fell face first on the mat, and slowly started pulling herself up. The Typhoon gained some speed against the ropes and hit her with a vicious kick to the side of the head, making the cover. A dizzy Bree kicked out in two, trying to reach her corner where Teegan was waiting but getting stomped midway to it by a kick to the ribs by NEON, who just entered the ring after getting the tag from her sister. The Tiny Dragon started to methodically tearing the opponent apart with her usual mix of hard hitting strikes and high flier moves, getting real close to the win for her team with a frog splash after dropping Smith on her head with a running spike ddt. She struggled a lot, almost falling a couple more times but eventually Bree found the break she needed when she moved out of the way dodging the Umeda Skyline, leaving nothing but the canvas on NEON’s way down from the moonsault. Smith pulled herself back to her feet, dropping the elbow across NEON’s back as she started stretching getting up. A few kicks later and Smith wrapped her arms around the japanese’s waist, deadlifting her with a German suplex and keeping the hold for a second one, and a third, finally releasing her. Another display of the so called Power Of Bree bought her enough time to make the tag to Teagan who entered the ring like a house on fire, immediately going for OMI who was standing on the apron and preventing the tag to be made. She then focused on NEON, who was still recovering from the series of suplex she just went through. And what did Teegs have in store for her? More suplexes, of course. Starting with a pumphandle and, after a series of chops and forearms combination, a Northern Lights. NEON kicked out, but being on the receiving end of all those throws was starting to take its toll, especially on her lower back which became the main target of Teagan’s offense. After a backbreaker, the Irish born climbed to the top rope and jumped off with her Tee For Two (630 splash), missing the target as NEON rolled out of the way, making the tag to OMI. The Typhoon entered the ring immediately capitalized on Gallagher still recovering from the hard landing with an axe kick, making the cover and getting a count of two. Her striking ability was on full display with an array of kicks that included various shoot kicks to the chest, a jumping yakuza and a spinning heel kick. To her credit, Teagan showed a great resilience, always kicking out. And when OMI started pulling out the heavy artillery hitting her with the Ame-no-Tataku (high speed roundhouse kick to the head) it was Bree who kept the hopes alive for her team. Eventually Teagan made the tag, and the fresh Smith seemed to be able to turn the tides of a match that started to seem completely in the Happy Few’s pocket. Her trademark backbreaker reps earned her a near fall, and she made the mexican fans jump on their feet when she connected the Bree-Show (pop-up powerbomb). But OMI was no longer the legal person for the Happy Few, after the blind tag made by NEON who sneaked behind her back and as soon as Smith stood back to her feet after realizing why the referee wasn’t making the count, dropped her down on the mat with the bridging dragon suplex called Ketsueki Toll, obtaining the win for her team. WINNER: The Happy Few BY: Pinfall (Ketsueki Toll), 15:43 |
Yulia Kirilenko:
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU HAVEN'T STOPPED HIM YET? You know exactly where he is, do something?
The voice of the Riot General Manager thunders from inside her office.
Yulia Kirilenko:
Fine, I'll do it myself then!
Her Russian accent is now more pronounced than the usual, a clear sign that she's losing it. If this wasn't indicative enough, the door is swung open with such force to send it crushing against the wall. With a long stride, the blonde girl leaves her office and starts walking the hallway, followed by the camera. As she keeps walking to her destination, she removes her jacket dropping it on the floor without a single care. She finally reaches a familiar hallway, the same showed before. Only this time, no one was laying on the floor. The guards and crew members were being checked on by some paramedics. Yulia didn't even stopped checking on them, walking straigh to the production's roo,.
Imagine her surprise when she found out the door was open, and the two members of Chimera Corps were no longer there. Kirilenko is trying to hide it, but the frustration and anger can be seen clearly on her expression.

Before her second round tournament match, Victoria Salinas is deep in thought about what’s ahead. She knows that this will not be an easy picnic considering that she is definitely familiar with the opponent that she’s going up against but still, she’s as poised as she possibly can be for this challenge. The Mexican crowd of course, is very much behind her as she begins to express her thoughts.
Victoria Salinas:
I have to admit that last week, when I took on Luna in round one of this battle for the briefcase tournament, it was very refreshing to experience a great change in my career. I felt rejuvenated a little bit. And in essence, I felt a little bit like my old self when I would go in there and take care of business. I was riding a bit high on the momentum train with a part of me feeling like I was already back and yet the other part of me still carrying some concern and acknowledging the fact that it’s just one match and that there is still a long way to go. I still can’t help but think that somewhere along the way in my career, I lost myself a little. I’m not sure if that’s a testament to how much I had dropped off before coming to Millennium wrestling or if it’s a testament to how good I am considering I was still doing “okay” despite losing myself a little.
But “okay” isn’t good enough for me as a professional wrestler, it never has been. It never will be. This match tonight is going to tell me so much.
Victoria takes a pause knowing what’s at stake with this match, both professionally and of course, personally.
Victoria Salinas:
Kelsey Spencer is one of the handful of people I actually know of on this roster and is in fact, the only person that I’ve actually worked with. We both went through the same ringer in Hybrid Wrestling and we seemed to be on a collision course toward a title clash before things happened and I left the company before that collision course could become a reality. The Kelsey that I remember was definitely at the top of her game in that company so I am familiar with what she can do. I’m not underestimating her by any means at all. But still… this is personal for me.
I get to answer the “what if?” question that I never could in our mutual former promotion.
But believe me Kelsey, I’m not “just happy to be here” or to “just have this match”.
This match is going to tell me where I stand! This match is going to tell me if I’m “back” to the standard that I’ve met before and that I damn sure know I can meet again, if I am “clutch”, if I really am the best wrestler under the brightest lights on the biggest stage… or if I’m just… “okay”...
There’s another pause, but this time it’s accompanied with a sigh, which may be an indication of how seriously she’s taking this match.
Victoria Salinas:
If I beat you, it’s obvious that I know what the answer is but I’ll be damned if I’m caught slacking in the following round because that’s not the kind of wrestler that I am.
If I don’t… maybe I’m “just okay”. Maybe I really have peaked. Maybe at 31 and getting older, losing matches like this becomes the norm and not the exception. I know with every wrestler it becomes inevitable at SOME point… but I feel like I’m much too young to be at that point. I hope that worst case scenario I just laid out isn’t true… but what I do know is that the ambition still burns within me to be the best damn wrestler I can be.
I didn’t come to Millennium to be “just okay”. I came here to regain the glory that I know I can achieve when everything is clicking for me… which… the hard part for me is that it hasn’t all done so in quite some time. This match is going to tell me where I am… win or lose… I take a lesson out of it.
So good luck Kelsey… but I didn’t come here to lose to you, especially in my own personal wrestling hotbed of Mexico, that’s for damn sure!
Victoria leaves the scene at this point, hearing louder cheers from the Mexican audience as it fades to black.

Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round 2: No Disqualification
Veronica Salinas VS Kelsey SpencerRound 2: No Disqualification
This was a match both women, for one reason or another, were looking forward to. As they both stated, this was meant to happen time ago, in a different promotion, for different stakes. But tonight, advancing in the Battle For The Briefcase tournament was everything they both cared for, and this translated into a strong start from both women, trading hard rights in the middle of the ring. Kelsey came out on top of this first exchange, connecting a series of three consecutive forearm shots before sending the opponent against the ropes with an irish whip. Victoria jumped over the laying Kelsey at the first passage, ducking under her leapfrog the second time and running right into an arm drag after rebounding back once again. Kelsey tried to keep the opponent grounded, but Salinas was just as good as her when it comes to the technical side of wrestling and easily escaped, getting up to her feet and blocking the Uncanny Socialite’s arm behind her back in a hammerlock. Kelsey tried to wiggle free, eventually reversing the hold and pulling Victoria in a ripcord knee strike, trying to score an early win with a quick cover. Needless to say, Salinas was not going out so easily, picking herself up and blocking Spencer’s right hook, kicking her on the left side, in the floating ribs area. Kelsey obviously reached the injured area, leaving her right flank open for another kick from her opponent. Victoria started building some momentum with a left and right punches combination, driving Kelsey’s face on her knee and following up with a handspring moonsault. The Blue Thunder was getting back to her feet after kicking out when Victoria connected with a devastating chick kick to the side of the head, dropping her back down. Once again the former EIW Sovereign Champion tried to make the cover, and once again Kelsey refused to give up. The turnaround for Kelsey came when she connected a superkick out of nowhere, knocking out Salinas. Before she could reach her to capitalize though, the expert Victoria rolled under the bottom rope, taking the possibility to make the cover away from the Australian. Spencer followed her outside and the absence of count outs allowed them both to take all the time they wanted to wear down the opponent using all the surrounding environment to their advantage. Kelsey was against the barricades, defending herself from the charging in opponent by raising her legs to his chest and push him down with a double foot stomp. Climbing on top of the barricade, she waited for her opponent to get up and dove off it with a missile dropkick. Despite this being a no DQ match, no weapons had been involved so far. Which is not really surprising considering both the competitors stated in more than one occasion how hardcore stipulations are not really their bread and butter. This changed when Victoria was crawling toward the ropes after getting nailed on her head by a ddt from the blue haired girl and accidentally found a chair laying right under the bottom rope. She grabbed it and pulled it out, turning around just in time to see Kelsey charging in and surprise her with a drop-toe-hold takedown that send Spencer slamming her face against the apron. She brought the fight back in the ring and carried the chair with her, seemingly ready to smack it across Kelsey’s back. A momentary distraction was all Spencer needed to drive her shoulder in the opponent’s mid section, not really the strongest of impacts but still enough to force her to drop the weapon. The fans held their breath as Kelsey picked it back up, pondering for a moment to use it to her advantage. But just like her opponent moments before, she refused to, dropping it on the mat. In what seemed like a review of the exchange that opened the match, they started hitting each other with with heavy strikes. And just like before, Kelsey was the one winning the round, setting the opponent up for the Deprivation DDT with a kick to the stomach. Solinas landed head first against the chair, and it was lights out for her. For a moment, nothing happened. Kelsey stood there staring at the chair shaking her head to highlight the involuntariness of what just happened. And finally she made the cover, picking up the win that allowed her to advance to the semi-final. WINNER: Kelsey Spencer BY: Pinfall (Deprivation DDT), 12:24 |
We cut backstage and find Melissa Reeves standing in the parking lot. She sees the camera, and addresses it directly.
Melissa Reeves:
Let me tell you all something about this place. It's bullshit. All of it. You got top drawer talent and brilliant matches, but an awful champion and even worse owner.
She scoffs.
Melissa Reeves:
As if everything van Beek has done isn't enough, she now sees fit to fine me for "touching" Camari whatsherface. Wow, Grace, wow. I know you probably thought I'd be out here, refusing to play. That you could use it as justification for some new dumbass scheme or other, some new way to mess me around. But that's okay, see...I'm a reasonably person, so I'll pay your fine. I will. Hell, I'm even prepared to pay it right now.
She turns the camera and we see a large truck sat with a driver sat looking to her through his window. She whistles and nods, and the vehicle starts to back up. It stops again, this time right beside Grace van Beek's SUV.
Zackary Dyson:
Oh no, is she...
Alyx Valero:
I think she might...
The back of the truck rises on its pneumatic arm, stretching up toward the heavens, before the rear door unlocks and what may quite possibly be literally millions of one cent coins drop out of the back. The coins slam into Grace's car, denting it and crumpling the door panels, while many sliding beneath it. By the time the coins are unloaded, the SUV is half buried on one side. Melissa climbs the coin pile and stands on the car itself, looking down at the camera.
Melissa Reeves:
You wanted me to pay, well here's your damn money, bitch.
She reaches down, picks up a handful of coins and leaves them on the front of the car as she slides down. She drops back to the floor and walks away, laughing.

Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round 2: No Disqualification
Melissa Reeves VS Kenzie GarrettRound 2: No Disqualification
If we didn’t see any weapon being used in the previous match, the same couldn’t be said for the main event, who lived up the expectations the fans had when they imagined this match. The Reaver made her intentions clear walking to the ring carrying a baseball bat. She went for a home-run swing as soon as Kenzie reached her inside the ring, but the former OWF Parakore champion was able to duck it and connect with a back kick, doubling Mel over. Garrett moved behind her opponent’s back and pulled her down onto her knees with a backstabber, performed with the baseball bat pressed against Mel’s neck for further damage. It still wasn’t enough for her to pick up the win of course, but it gave the match a direction that favored Kenzie. She capitalized on this good moment with a series of repeated knee strikes, the last one performed in a bicycle variation that took the former liberty champion down. Kenzie grabbed the baseball bat from the mat and after taking a moment to hit an imaginary ball, she took a swing at the grounded opponent, missing as she rolled out of the way. A kick to the shoulder forced Kenzie to drop the weapon, but Melissa didn’t stop there, landing an incredible series of kicks ending the sequence with a roundhouse that almost took Kenzie’s head off. She made the cover, and when Garrett kicked out in two, she immediately left the ring and rolled outside, searching for some weapons under the apron. She pulled out a table, patiently setting it up on the outside while keeping an eye on the opponent who was still recovering from the kicks. Reeves now retrieved a chair and tossed it in the ring. A second one flew over the top rope landing next to the first, and soon the chair started piling up in the centre of the ring, for the joy of the fans. A wreckage, that’s what the ring was looking like now. Dented chairs scattered all over the canvas, a bloodied Garrett barely moving and struggling to get back to her feet in one corner and the motionless body of Melissa Reeves not too far away from her, laying on what was left of four unfolded chairs positioned one in front of the other. How did she got there? A piledriver from Kenzie is the answer. Out of instinct alone, Mel kicked out, but she hadn’t move since then. A shocked Garrett was trying to get back on her feet as well after spending a bunch of seconds staring in disbelief at the opponent, wondering How the hell she managed to kick out. Finally standing on her feet, the Soulknife went to pick Reeves up meeting some resistance from the Reaver, in the form of a series of punches to the abdomen. They only slowed down Garrett though, definitely didn’t prevent her from connecting with a short arm lariat. And it was when all hope seemed to be gone that Mel was able to change the course of the match. All she head to do was to push the charging opponent up and over the top rope. Kenzie landed on the apron and tried to surprise Mel with a right hand, blocked by the former Vengeance Pro Champion who countered with one of her own. The first of a series that left him Garrett stunned on a precarious position. She only lasted a bunch of seconds in that position before getting dropped down and put through the table by a suicide dive from Mel. The fight kept going outside the ring, and it saw Melissa getting the best of the opponent who, between the chair shot that busted her open earlier and the back hurting from the going through the table and hitting the hard concrete floor, didn’t seem in great shape. To aggravate the situation, Mel pushed her back first against the edge of announcer’s table. Kenzie grabbed the first thing that she managed to lay hands on and drove it on the opponent’s skull in a desperate attempt to defend herself. As the unmistakable noise gave out, it was the ring bell. The impact knocked out the Reaver, leaving an exhausted Garrett the dreadful challenge to drag her body back in the ring. It took her an eternity, but she eventually managed to roll her in and make the cover. All the time passed was enough for Mel to recover and kick out. With the last bit of energy, Kenzie picked her up and threw a punch to the bleeding wound right above her left eye, consequence of that last terrible blow. Mel answered with one of her own, putting everything she had left in that right hand. The exchange didn’t last long, coming to an end when Reeves doubled Kenize over with a knee to the gut, hitting the Facial Deconstructor (codebreaker) to get the win at the end of a tough battle against one of the newest Millennium stars. WINNER: Melissa Reeves BY: Pinfall (Facial Deconstructor), 18:19 |
