Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round One: Singles
The first match of the night saw two experienced wrestlers going toe to toe in the first round match of the Battle For The Briefcase. The match started with the two competitors locking up in the middle of the ring. With the power and size advantage on her side, Akemi won the test of strength without much effort, forcing the opponent down to her knees. Des fought back, pushing herself back up to a standing position only for a moment before Hayashi started overpowering her again. Des was able to grab her by the wrist and twist her arm behind her back applying a hammerlock and spinning around going for a front facelock before dropping her on her head with a hammerlock ddt. Destiny’s speed was causing some problems to Akemi. The former BWF Mayhem World Champion wasn’t able to catch a break from the constant offense of Figgins who was now stomping her to the mat after dropping her down with a roundhouse kick. Picking her up, she sent her in the corner and charged in. Akemi sent her over the top rope, Des landed on her feet and drove her shoulder in the japanese’s mid section, pinning her down with a slingshot sunset flip. It took her a while, but eventually Akemi found a way to slow her down, countering a diving crossbody with a superkick. This didn’t give her the win, but it turned the tides of the match. She dragged Destiny back to her feet and hit her with a series of strikes, forearms and elbows to stun her and a back kick to the stomach to bend her over. Hayashi then hit the ropes to gain some speed and drop her down with a somersault neckbreaker. Des gave further proof of her resilience tonight when she kicked out from the SQUIRT! (complete shot into the turnbuckle), but things weren’t looking good for her. Akemi was now fully in control, feigning now a clothesline and hitting her with a back elbow instead. It wasn’t too long after hitting the Third Eye Closer that she connected with the Starflower (Twist Of Fate), picking up the win and advancing to the next round. WINNER: Akemi Hayashi BY: Pinfall (Starflower), 6:03 |
A exclusive video from Millenium airs a few hours after the show on Wednesday. Cameras & several reporters holding recording devices all are waiting outside various locker rooms. They rush to the first one that opens & out comes Zafar Khan dressed in civilian clothing & a gym bag over his shoulder. He had a rather large bruise underneath his eye courtesy of Rebecca Saint & he appeared to be upset. Khan looked displeased as the mob of people headed towards him. Numerous devices were held in front of his face as numerous questions began to be shouted at him.
Random Interviewer:
Zafar! Zafar! How do you feel about your winning streak being snapped?
Unseen Reporter:
Can you bounce back from this?
Khan choses to turn his back towards them all & continue down the hall towards the exit. However the group of reported did not wait for nothing & opted to follow him. They surround him on all sides & continue with their barrage of questioning. It would seem they are not letting up until they get answers out of Zafar about what occurred tonight & the fallout from it.
Unknown Correspondent:
Was this your last opportunity? Where do you go from here?
Faceless Journalist:
Has Rebecca Saint put the nail in the coffin of your time in this company?
He continues to ignore them & trying to drown them out. The exit growing even closer but while most have given up trying to get a reply out of them there was still a few that persisted constantly. They hounded Zafar Khan every step of the way & he was reaching out to the exit door when one last question is blurted out. This particular question caused him to take a pause.
Off Camera Interrogator:
What about your Junior Heavyweight Championship aspirations?
Zafar's hand held the handle of the exit door as he pondered the question. Slowly he turned back to face the last few reporters who anxiously awaited his answer. There was a long silence as Khan had a melancholy demeanor on his face. He breathes in deeply & looks to be in deep thought about this whole situation. They waited for his reply but at the last moment Zafar Khan instead turned back around & pushed opened the door. The disappointed group of interviewers shouted some last words at him but it did not appear to phase him at all. As the door closes the last glimpse we see is Zafar entering a waiting car.

Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Olivia Wythe & Levi VS The HooligunnZ VS Adam Webb & Corey Grimes
The fans who looked at this match as a potential show stealer didn’t leave the El Domo disappointed. The win against Chimera Corp last wednesday, even though with a help from Alan Envy, definitely put the HooligunnZ name on the list of teams to watch in a tag division that keeps being very interesting, and that sees Olivia and Levi as two of the absolute protagonists, thanks to a series of convincing wins. The two young girls certainly had no intentions to stop now, welcoming the challenge and looking forward to continue their rise through the ranking with another win tonight. It wasn’t easy to decide who had to start the match, all six competitors eager to fight. And it was an all out brawl that saw Olivia and Levi teaming up and tossing Trey out of the ring while Spectre took it to the Junior Heavyweight Champion, landing a series of swift kicks to the ribs. Adam charged in at Olivia, taking her out of the ring with a running crossbody and falling on the outside as well in the process, pretty much in the same moment when Corey sent Spectre over the top rope with a backbody drop. The Swoltergeist landed on the apron and swung his right hand to Grimes who ducked the blow. Behind him, Levi came rushing in and knocked the Die Fly off the apron with a dropkick, remaining in the ring alone with Corey. The Baby K showed, not that there was any doubt, that she could hang with a champion of the caliber of Corey, scoring a near fall on him with her It’s Hot In Topeka (springboard hurricanrana). Eventually Corey’s class and experience allowed him to regain control, intercepting Levi’s suicide dive attempt with a right punch and climbing back on the apron, waiting for her to stand up and hitting her with the Flyin’ Grimes, (springboard forearm smash), immediately making the cover. The referee didn’t start the count, telling Corey that he was no longer the legal man since Cole took the tag while he was jumping off the rope. Disappointed and shaking his head at the Hooligunn, Corey left the ring. Trey tried to capitalize on his work making the cover, but Levi had plenty of time to recover and easily kicked out in two. The Father Of Finesse hit Levi with a punch to the ribs, doubling her over with a back kick followed by a rising one, eventually knocking her down with a bicycle knee strike. When she kicked out from the pinning predicament, Trey made the tag to his partner and tossed Levi toward him. Spectre lifted her wit a belly to back suplex releasing her right into a codebreaker from Cole, who then left the ring while his partner hooked the leg for another cover, broken up by Adam Webb who kept the match alive. Adam's interference and Spectre's reaction to it allowed Levi to crawl to her corner and tag Olivia in. Wythe entered the ring and knocked out both Webb and Spectre with a double clothesline, ending their brawling contest. Corey Grimes stepped in to avenge his tag partner, running right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker from Olivia who turned around just in time to see Cole jumping on the top rope and into the ring. Olivia caught him in mid air with a cutter, a move that got her a loud round of applause. The cheers suddenly turned into boos when Spectre clubbed her from behind with a forearm smash that dropped her on her knees. Grabbing her by the wrist, he called Trey who was slowly getting up to his feet. Cole grabbed her other hand and the both yanked at the same time, pulling her in for the Full Death Experience. Spectre made the cover while Cole kept an eye on any possible intervention from Levi or Webb or Grimes, but none of them needed to save Olivia who raised her shoulder in two. Webb tagged himself in when Spectre ended up into their corner following an irish whip from Olivia. Noticing the tag, she didn't charge in, waiting in the middle of the ring and inviting Adam to step into the ring with her. The former Southside Parkcore Champion didn't leave her waiting, accepting the challenge and locking horns with her. Webb's quickness and agility proved to be lethal for Olivia, more so now that she had been in the ring for quite some time. After she missed the clothesline, Adam hit her with a pele kick, making the cover after a springboard moonsault. The match went on and Olivia went real close to the win with the Shining Wythezard, this time Trey Cole was the one keeping the match alive. Fifteen minutes in and Adam earned back control despite Levi, who just made the tag to an exhausted Olivia was fresher than him. After the over knee gut buster, he made the tag to Corey who focused on Spectre and Cole, knocking them both off the apron. A slingblade and a running shooting star press gave him only a count of two after Oliva broke up the pin. Adam helped his partner entering the ring and fighting it out with Wythe, allowing Corey to focus on Levi. Grimes had her exactly where he wanted. Adam dropped Olivia out of the ring with a clothesline watching Corey charging in on Levi with his Sac-Town Explosion (Running Single Leg Dropkick). The Baby K, although stunned, was able to move out of the way in instinct and the shocked Corey hit his oen partner, knocking him out. Before he could shake himself off the initial shock, Levi rolled him over for the three count. WINNER: Levi & Olivia Wythe BY: Pinfall (Schoolboy Pin), 17:03 |

Pinhead:
Dominique, nique, nique…
The camera slowly pans backwards to reveal Pinhead, the insanely huge and muscular new signee to MWE who aided The Misery and The Manic towards victory against Cheesecake and Big Barv at the Great White North. He stands looking at the floor, no eye contact with the camera.
Pinhead:
...s'en allait tout simplement…
His accent is obvious, though it cannot be pinpointed as to what said accent is. He is clearly saying the French lyrics of his theme song “Dominique” by The Singing Nun, however his accent seems to be a bizarre combination of French and Middle Eastern.
Pinhead:
...Routier pauvre et chantant…
He finally looks up, emotionless, no anger, no sadness, no glee, nothing. Nothing at all. Except the smallest of glimmers from his eye, in a blink-and-you’ll-miss it moment. A glimmer that although short and quick, foretold a story of imminent destruction and remorseless violence.
Pinhead:
...En tous chemins, en tous lieux, il ne parle que du bon Dieu…
Pinhead grabs the camera, and throws it at the wall behind him.

Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round One: Singles
Luna VS Veronica SalinasRound One: Singles
It was Veronica’s debut in MWE, a high stakes match against a former champion in Luna. The Star Of The Night looked a bit nervous as she walked to the ring, and with good reasons too. In the past few weeks, she’s been victim of multiple attacks from Cass Baumer and Lena Skye. and tonight she was in their house, four days before the tag match just announced by the General Manager for the Guadalajara show. The chances for them to try take some advantage were something she couldn’t ignore. The ten years veteran Victoria immediately exploited it and decked the former Lockdown champion with a lariat. Luna didn’t stay down long, quickly making it back up to her feet. Salinas reached her with a couple of chops, grabbing her arm and sending her against the ropes, waiting for her with a dropkick and immediately making the cover, picking up a count of one. The first part of the match was all in Victoria’s favor, with the Canadian almost scoring a win with her Desire Breaker (straightjacket neckbreaker slam) that saw Luna barely kicking out just in the nick of time. Eventually Luna managed to get her head in the game and focus on the opponent who had her stuck in the corner now and was unleashing a flurry of backhand chops. Salinas lifted her on the top rope and climbed up as well, going for a superplex. The Star Of The Night fought back and, after a few headbutts that left Victoria stunned, she slid between her legs and superkicked her, rolling her on her shoulders after the Dark Side Of Luna (Cheeky Nandos kick). Luna may have been struggling in MWE since losing her title, but this doesn’t take anything away from her talent, and tonight she was proving it. With her unique mix of hard hitting Krav Maga based style and aerial techniques, the former Lockdown Champion was able to shift the momentum and gain control, sending the opponent for a run against the ropes and catching her with a running spanish fly for a near fall. The closer Luna seemed to get to the win with every passing minute, the more anxious she seemed to get, the fear of seeing Baumer and Skye ripping her off another opportunity growing on her. And this inevitably lead her to make a mistake. A slight hesitation while on the top rope gave Vicky an opportunity to reach her with a right hand and, this time, successfully connecting with a superplex. Luna was quickly back on her feet, but the opponent immediately turned her lights off with a chick kick, dropping on top of the former Lockdown Champion to make the cover for a two count. Just before the referee’s hand hit the mat for the three, Luna kicked out, although it was clear that she was on her last leg. Slowly, she started pulling herself up, only managing to make it to her knees before being slammed down by the Burning Desire (Springboard Facebuster) that gave Victoria her first win in MWE. WINNER: Victoria Salinas BY: Pinfall (Burning Desire), 10:19 |
With one of the most disgusted looks ever put on someone’s face stands Charlie Webster in catering. She glances at the different food and water before shaking her, moving away from the catering and begins to walk down the hallway. Charlie is ready to rumble against Melissa Reeves and stops next to a post that features her foe on it.
Charlie Webster:
Melissa Reeves. Scourge to our wonderful owner, Miss van Beek, and a general thorn in the side of anyone who likes fun. We’ve all seen Melissa Reeves talk about how she doesn’t like someone repeatedly. Time and time again…
She huffs and shakes her head, her brown locks swaying along for the ride. Charlie keeps looking at the poster as she goes on.
Charlie Webster:
We have a battle for a briefcase first round match tonight here in Mexico. I don’t know the town, don’t care, all I know is that it’s warm and that’s lovely. After nearly freezing to death in Canada, I started to win. A lot. What have you done besides lose since March, Melissa?
A snicker begins to come out of Webster’s mouth.
Charlie Webster:
I tried to warn you about Christopher Kane’s nature. I really did, but you just looked at me like I was trying to drive a wedge into you and my brother-in-law. And, yet, who was right this time? Me!
She does a small victory lap, totally making nothing into an overblown, meaningless win.
Charlie Webster:
So, you see, Melissa, despite all that bravado you do on Twitter, and talking about how you’re fighting some evil corporate machine, you haven’t accomplished anything, have you? The only thing you got going for you is a recognizable name and being able to show off your boobs in every picture you post on social media.
Slow clap.
Charlie Webster:
Great stuff, Mel. You think you’re going to win. Everyone here thinks you’re going to win. I am an underdog, but hey, which one of us won at the Great White North show again? ME! Who is going to win tonight? ME! And you know what’s gonna be back here for you?
An evil smirk now. Like a super genius explaining their master stroke to a bunch of heroes.
Charlie Webster:
A big slice of humble pie because you couldn’t beat Charlie Webster. Then you’ll quit. Start doing more modeling which turns into nudie movies and no one will be surprised about it. They’ll throw me a parade and give me a key to every city in the country. Charlie wins!
And, with that somewhat insane thought said, Charlie leaves the frame.

Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round One: Singles
Alan Envy VS Kenzie GarrettRound One: Singles
A loud round of cheers welcomed Alan Envy as he stepped out of the curtains. Only three days ago the Lonestar made it known that he had joined the orange roster ranks in the most impactful way, taking out both Dusty Douglas and Chris Constantine during their tag match against The HooligunnZ. Tonight, he was making his debut in the first round of the Battle For The Briefcase match against Kenzie Garrett, who was looking determined to channel the frustration for coming up short in the gauntlet to overcome the huge challenge òaying ahead of her tonight, in the form of a multi time champion and veteran of this sport such as the Iconic. Alan wanted to make a good impression on his new fans and went all out since the opening bell, hitting the opponent with stiff right punches and heavy kicks. Kenzie is a tough competitor, that’s out of question. She managed to withstand the punishment Alan put her through in the early going and started fighting back with a series of repeated knee strikes. Envy was down and the Soulknife hit the ropes to put some momentum behind the shining wizard she knocked the Show Stealer down with, trying to get the pinfall win with a lateral press. Alan powered out and the pair met once again in the middle of the ring. The exchange saw Envy coming out on top and sending the opponent crashing into the corner with an irish whip, following with a corner splash. Grabbing her head in a three quarter facelock, he flipped her over with a snapmare and kicked her in the back, causing the Californian to scream in pain. After dropping his knee on her head, Alan hooked the leg. The fans who came to San Luis Potosi witnessed a very evenly matched contest, what Garrett was lacking in experience and raw power, she definitely made up for with her heart and never give up attitude. No matter how Envy hit her, both with direct punches or with his patented Gordbuster, Kenzie kept kicking out and fighting back, almost scoring the upset win with a hurricanrana. Alan escaped the pinning predicament and kicked the opponent in the stomach, bending her over and putting her head between his legs lifting her in the air and dropping her down to the mat with a ring shaking powerbomb. He thought he had her this time but Kenzie still had some fight in her and kicked out. Alan picked her up and set her up for the Envious Demise, but the Soulknife countered the Evenflow ddt with a cradle, catching the opponent with a vicious roaring elbow after he kicked out and stood back up. He fell flat on his back, but this still wasn’t enough to keep him down. Despite the majority of the fans were still cheering for the Riot star, part of them started encouraging the OWF Parakore champion, won over by her tenacity and moves like the Pinball Wizard, a diving senton that almost got her the win. But in the end, Alan stopped her momentum with the pop up Death Valley Driver. Before he could capitalize on it, a familiar voice took his attention away from the opponent. CCJ: “Congratulation on your impressive Riot debut, traitor Chris Constantine Jr and Dusty Douglas appeared on the stage, slowly golf-clapping Alan Envy who was inviting them to walk to the ring. The verbal confrontation kept going with CCJ pointing out how fitting it was that overrated scum like Alan joined the B-show, because, after all, this is where he always belonged, certainly not in the same ring as him or Dusty… CCJ: “Or any other Millennium superstar” He said with a smirk while Kenzie rolled up the distracted opponent and picked up the win that allowed her to advance in the tournament. WINNER: Kenzie Garrett BY: Pinfall (Roll-Up), 13:27 |
The scene opens backstage and finds Camari Hayre walking down a corridor. She comes to a stop outside a room, the sign reading "MELISSA REEVES". She reaches out to knock and after a few moments, the door opens. Melissa emerges, wearing her ring gear, a Grace van Beek merch shirt and sunglasses. The shirt has a large 🚫 covering the front design.
Camari Hayre:
Melissa, I was hoping to catch a word with you.
Reeves seems not to particularly notice Camari, instead focusing on the camera. She points to her shirt, before adjusting her shades.
Camari Hayre:
Tonight you face Charlotte Webster, someone you've had issues with in the recent past. Not that that narrows the list at all. But still. Are you looking forward to getting your hands on her?
Melissa slowly takes the microphone from Camari's hand. Hayre seems to object, but there's not a lot she can do.
Melissa Reeves:
I want you to cast your mind back. One week. Two weeks.
She counts them out with her fingers.
Melissa Reeves:
Go back to the second night of The Great White North. What did I say, Camari?
For a brief second she offers the microphone, but it's nothing like long enough to answer.
Melissa Reeves:
Exactly, that's right. You remember, don't you? You ALL remember? I said no more interviews.
She drops the mic and pushes past Camari, leaving her alone in the camera's focus until the scene cuts.
Battle For The Briefcase Match
Round One: Singles
Melissa Reeves VS Charlie WebsterRound One: Singles
Nobody on the eve of this match thought Charlie Webster stood a chance. Too much the experience gap between the two, too big the drive and motivation Reeves had to win the whole tournament and take the spot at the top of the company she believes she deserves. And yet, the underdog in this match had a great showing, especially in the first part of the match where she was able to connect a series of right forearm shots and force the former Liberty Pro champion in the corner where she continued her relentless attack with kicks to the stomach and, once Mel fell down to a seated position, with ruthless stomp. The referee separated the two contenders, allowing Reeves to get back up to her feet. Webster gave her no break and landed a few chops before kicking her in the stomach and lifting her for a suplex, attempting the first pinfall of the match and barely obtaining a two count. She tried to keep the pressure and the momentum going, but her offense soon became predictable for someone with Mel’s experience and the Australian born countered a suplex attempt with one of her own, kicking Charlotte’s head off while she was trying to pull herself up. The violent impact of her boot against Charlie’s skull knocked the former manager down, and when Reeves dropped on top of her to make the cover, it seemed like the match could be over already. Still, she was able to pull her shoulder up in time. Reeves was now toying with her opponent, taking her sweet time to punish Charlie, and make her pay for the things she did and say a couple of months ago. In a couple of circumstances, she could have probably gone for the pinfall, after a spike ddt and after the Reaver slam, but instead she simply pulled her back to her feet and kicked the crap out of her. At least until Charlie managed to block one of those kicks and took her to the mat with a dragon screw, kicking and stomping the right knee that gave Mel more than a few problems in the past. She then locked her in into a tight kneebar, trying to submit her it the middle of the ring. Melissa started dragging herself toward the ropes, eventually managing to grabbing the bottom one and forcing the break. Charlie obviously kept the submission locked until the referee threatened to disqualify her. With a smirk, she waited for the Reaver to stand up and kicked her leg, taking her off her feet. Resting the opponent’s foot on the ropes, she then jumped on her injured leg, inflicting more pain. That became her strategy from that moment on, work on that knee to pave her way to the submission. Almost on one leg, Reeves reached the corner, leaning against the turnbuckle trying to shake some feeling back in the leg, instinctively raising it when Charlie came charging in. Both women seemed in pan after it, Webster rocked by the boot that caught her right on the jaw, Mel grabbing her knee. Pushing through the pain, the former VPW champion charged in and knocked her down with a lariat, connecting a few forearm shots as soon as Charlotte got back to her feet, grabbing her by her arm and sending her against the ropes, catching the former manager with a leg lariat when she rebounded back. The minutes passed and even though the right knee started to become more and more an issue for the Reaver, she kept control of the match relying mostly on punches and on her array of DDTs, trying not to put too much weight on the leg. Webster kept kicking out from her pinfall attempts showing great resilience but ultimately she had to surrender to the Facial Deconstructor. Holding her knee, hurting after crushing against Charlotte’s skull, Reeves crawled into a cover and picked up the three count. WINNER: Melissa Reeves BY: Pinfall (Facial Deconstructor), 10:36 |
The camera cuts to the backstage area and the focus is immediately upon the Riot championship belt which is securely wrapped around the waist of Liv Mercer. The camera pans slowly to further reveal the champion and the smirk which is tugging at the corners of her lips. The smug satisfaction from having successfully defended her Riot championship belt against another challenger still fresh on her mind.
Liv Mercer:
They keep stepping up and I just keep knocking them back down, don’t I?
There is a slight pause, clearly for dramatic effect, before Liv begins to laugh. Her hands resting on both sides of the golden plate of her beloved Riot championship belt.
Liv Mercer:
Kelsey tried her best, she really did, and I have to give her props when they are deserved. Out of all the challengers I’ve had for my Riot championship so far? She’s at the top of the list. I’m not counting Eliza Valentine because so far it’s nothing more than empty threats across Twitter. When are you going to step up Eliza? Hmm? When are you going to deliver on these promises? Or are you simply nothing more than talk because I’ve already tuned out at this point.
As she is speaking, Liv raises up one of her hands, and makes the motion with it of someone going “blah blah blah” before stopping with a simple shake of her head.
Liv Mercer:
I suggest you watch how a real champion operates here tonight when I step into the main event, truly appropriate for The Liv Show, and I go up against Tiffany Tompkins. Or is it Rollins? I’ll admit that I wasn’t fully paying attention to the fact you were adopted by someone here recently, but whatever name you decide to go by, there’s no denying what you can bring to the ring. You are the Cloud Gate champion for a reason, right? Which is more than fine with me, because as I’ve proven time and time again, the bigger the challenge they decide to give me - the more likely I am going to be the one walking away with the victory. That’s what I just did going up against Kelsey and we can’t forget the time I defeated Melissa Reeves right here on MY show.
The confident smirk is one again tugging at the corners of Liv’s mouth as she uses her hand to brush back some of her blonde hair back behind her shoulder.
Liv Mercer:
Show me your worth here tonight Tiffany. Let’s see exactly why you have an impressive reign as the Cloud Gate champion while I continue to make it clear to EVERYONE why I am still very much deserving of being your Riot champion. I went out there and I said no one could measure up to me, someone dared to try it, and she failed in her attempt. Is anyone else foolish enough to make the same mistake? Or will that false bravado be revealed when no one else makes the decision to step forward leaving me to rightfully reign over Riot like I have been since the day I stepped foot in this company.
Liv takes a moment to square her shoulders back with further determination, patting the front of her Riot championship belt with one hand.
Liv Mercer:
Tonight you’re stepping onto my turf, Tiffany, and I’m more than happy to show you how we run things here on Riot.
A small wink follows those final words before Liv turns around and begins to stride down the hallway with confidence in each step. Taking the time to flip her hoodie so that it covers her head and reveals the silver writing stitched onto the back.
The Liv Show
Triple Threat Match
Aella Foley VS Eliza Valentine VS Devin Hearst Three of the best Riot has to offer, three of the most vocal about the whole situation with Millennium clashed in this triple threat match. Devin took the initiative and struck first, docking Aella with a right punch and locking up with Eliza in the middle of the ring. The size and strength advantage allowed him to push the opponent back against the ropes, and the referee stepped between the two asking for the break. Devin granted it smiling at the referee and stepping back, only to connect with a lightning quick chop to the chest that caught the number one contender off guard. He turned around just in time to spot Aella barging in and jumping at him with a dropkick. Showing great presence of mind and quick reflexes, the former Dog Of War moved out of the way and Foley ended up kicking Valentine on the face and sending her over the top rope. Now in the ring alone with the Godkiller, Devin imposed his physicality on the smaller opponent, shoving her in the corner and connecting a running uppercut. Seven inches in height and almost one hundred pounds in weight never stopped the King Of The Ashes who was used to be the smaller competitor in a match. She fought back tooth and nails. heavy punches flying from both competitors who weren’t even trying to defend themselves from the opponent’s strikes. Elza came back into the match and put an end to their exchange, jumping on Hearst’s back and dropping him on her knees with a backstabber. Foley kicked her in the mid section and grabbed her by the back of her neck. pushing her shoulder first against the turnbuckle. Hearst was momentarily taking a break out of the ring after a vicious ddt from Eliza, who was now dealing with a relentless Aella targeting her left arm, the one she crushed against the corner earlier in the match. Being a submission specialist, the Godkiller walked in with a plan and she was implementing it to the point, Taking Eliza down to the mat with an armdrag, she then locked her legs around that left arm applying a bicep slicer. The former Millennium Champion was trying to wrestle her way out of it, but Devin saved her the effort literally by kicking Foley away and lifted her for his Desperado (Throwing Released Suplex). Eliza was quick to roll him on his back with a schoolboy pin, following through the motion and kicking him on the head instead of settling for the pin. When Hearst made it back to his feet, she hit him with a series of punches, grateful that Aella had been targeting the left arm instead of the right one. She had him in the corner now, driving her knee into his stomach a few times before stepping back and gaining some speed to hit a corner splash. Hearst was down and Valentine climbed to the top, falling awkwardly to the outside when Aella launched herself against the ropes, causing her to lose balance. The match entered its final phase and Eliza was dominating after dropping Hearst against the turnbuckle with a russian legsweep, As she stood up after hitting the move, Aella charged at her at full speed and cut her in half with the FAUGH A BALLAGH. making the cover for a two count. Foley went back on the attack, always targeting the left arm, twisting and torquing it. This time Eliza had a counter, stomping her foot and connecting a bicycle kick. Hearst floored the number one contender for the Riot championship with a forearm to the back of the head, applying a sleeper hold to wear her down and set-up for the Evenflow DDT. He had the submission locked in tightly, trying to choke Eliza out when Unheavenly Creatures by Coheed And Cambria blared out of the loudspeakers. Once again it was Chris Constantine stepping out on the stage, accompanied once again by Dusty Douglas. The Murder Train was carrying on his shoulders the motionless body of Andrew Wilkow, a proud grin on his face to mock Hearst. He finally dropped Drew on the ramp, the first thing the fans noticed were his black hair painted in red, blood gushing from a deep wound on the back of his head. While Devin was cursing at the Chimera Corps, Eliza recovered and turned him around, planting him with the Mysterious Girl. Aella tried to break the pin but she arrived one moment too late. Eliza was the winner, her last glance was at the two Millennium stars standing on the stage and clapping their hands. WINNER: Eliza Valentine BY: Pinfall (Mysterious Girl), 17:41 |
The cameras cut to backstage, where Camari Hayre is standing and waiting with a microphone at hand.
Camari Hayre:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, the MWE Cloud Gate Champion...Tiffany Tompkins.
With her introduction, Tiffany steps into the frame with a cheeky look on her face as she looked up at the woman standing beside her. Their past interactions haven't exactly been the best, but professionalism must be maintained, and despite her feelings towards the champion, Camari maintained her composure as she continued her job.
Camari Hayre:
So, Tiffany...Rollins is it now?
A round of applause could be heard from the crowd before Camari could continue. This brings a smile to Tiffany's face; this was her first appearance since she was adopted by her mentors Syn and Brytain Rollins, her first time appearing on camera where she could finally say that she has a mom and a dad. As the crowd died down, Camari finally resumed.
Camari Hayre:
Whatever you call yourself now...I believe this is your first appearance here on Riot. So tell us, what brings you here?
Camari holds the microphone down to Tiffany's face.
Tiffany Rollins:
Good to see you as always Cammy...but why am I here? Well first of all, I didn't come here to fight in some battle of the brands or something. I've already been involved in a brand war once and I don't want any part of that again. Quite frankly, I've come here to find out what the fuss is about. There's a buzz surrounding this show and I wanted to see it for myself. As you can see...
Tiffany points out to her empty shoulders...
Tiffany Rollins:
...I've come here without my title. That's because I'm here tonight as a visitor, not a champion, and I want to face one of the top stars in the home team. Right now, I guess that star is Liv Mercer. She is the inaugeral Riot Champion after all, and she's fresh from a big win over Kelsey Spencer...I mean a cheap win granted by still a win...
The crowd acknowledges that cheeky remark.
Tiffany Rollins:
I honestly hope she brings her A-Game tonight though, because as so many can already attest to, no matter what ring I step into, I always bring mine. As you can probably tell, this has already been a pretty big week for me. I finally have a family. I have a mom and a dad. I had to go through quite a bit of paperwork to settle my name change. I even had my first pair of glasses the other day. But I ain't gonna bore you so enough about all that. All that matters right now is that I need a face to kick, and Liv is about to be my volunteer.
The crowd cheers at that as Camari asks another question.
Camari Hayre:
It really has been a crazy few weeks for you, from everyone learning about your connections to the Lasiewicz family to your adoption into the Rollins family, from one title defense to the next, there's truly been no rest for you. And now here you are, making your first appearance here in Riot. These fans are already excited to see you in action, but tell us, are you truly focused on tonight's match? Especially after what your next challenger had to say in Ciudad Juarez?
Tiffany Rollins:
You know what? I'll admit it right now. Seth Iser? He's in my mind a little. But that's no different to any other challenger, and it's no different to my opponent tonight. Sure, he's already beaten me once, and yes, I've been training harder than ever to prepare for this fight. I might even go as far as to say he might be my biggest challenge to date. I'll have a few words for him in the future, but right now, my full attention is on Riot, my full attention is on Liv Mercer, and my full attention is on going out there and kicking some ass as usual.
The crowd cheers again as Tiffany steps out of frame, leaving Camari alone to close the interview.

Singles Match
Champion vs Champion
Liv Mercer VS Tiffany RollinsChampion vs Champion
The best of both brands, two champions who have been nothing less than dominant ever since capturing the titles, 137 days ago for the Five Foot Death Machine and 98 for the first ever Riot Champion. The fans were excited for this main event that marked also the first appearance of Tiffany Rollins on the orange show. Determined to look good in front of her fans and represent her brand, Liv Mercer came out strong off the gate, charging in and unloading a series of punches and forearms to the Cloud Gate Champion. Unsurprisingly, Rollins didn’t shy away from the fight, answering blow for blow the Riot Champion in an exchange that immediately set the fans on fire. We may be on a Riot show but the popularity of the one many describe as the face of MWE doesn’t know boundaries, drawing half of the fans to cheer for her. And she repaid them putting more intensity in her strikes and turning in her favor a situation that was seeing her going under. Right hand after right hand, she was pushing Liv back in her corner but the New Yorker doubled her over with a knee to the stomach, following up with a suplex. The two champions went back and forth and kept hitting each other with their best moves. Liv knocked Tiffany down with a roundhouse kick, making a quick cover for a two count, picking her up and whipping her against the ropes after connecting a few chops. The Cloud Gate Champion ducked under the leapfrog and rebounded back from the opposite side of the ring, running right into a dropkick from Mercer who was starting to build some momentum, obtaining another near fall with a Northern Lights Suplex. The tables turned when the Five Foot Deathmachine surprised Liv with a small package, almost stealing the win. She was the first to get back on her feet and quickly kicked the Riot champion hard on her chest with the first of a series of shoot kicks that left her short-winded and exposed to a running big boot. Now in control, Rollins showcased all her best moves as well as some new stuff, like a beautiful standing moonsault after a swinging ddt. The perfectly executed flip drew an “ooooh” of surprised from the San Luis Potosi fans who didn’t expect this from the young champion. The disappointment on her face when Mercer kicked out was clear, but she didn’t waste time, going immediately back to work. The Riot champion was in huge difficulty, unable to find a counter to Tiff’s constant offense. Until her manager and boyfriend Oz Dalton provided her the distraction she needed to plant the Cloud Gate champion on her head with a ddt. Liv even connected with the inverted stomp facebreaker that gave her so many wins in the past, but despite its name, the Stay Grounded wasn’t enough to keep the Little Hoss down. And just when it seemed the Riot star was one big move away from bringing home the win, with her last energy Rollins was able to knock Liv on her knees with a low dropkick, finishing her with the Death Kick for the win. WINNER: Tiffany Rollins BY: Pinfall (Death Kick), 17:03 |
