MILLENNIUM presents: The Great White North -night 1
Live from Bell Centre, Montreal QC
Saturday, May 11th, 2019
The last stop of the Great White North Tour, the first MWE PPV outside the USA, four titles on the line in this first of two nights. When the video opens inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, the fans are already on their feet, cheering in anticipation for what is shaping up to be an historic night. The drum roll of "Fall, Goliath, Fall" by Project 86 begins to play, and when the guitars break in, pyrotechnics explode all over the central stage. The camera pans all over the sold out crowd, taking us to the commentary booth where Bea and Jared are joined, as always for the Pay Per Views, by the Riot team in Zackary Dyson and Alyx Valero.
Jared Idol:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the Great White North!
Bea Torres:
IT'S SO COOOOOOLD!
Alyx Valero:
Ugh, stop complaining Bea! You're starting to sound like a certain Millennium wrestler....
Bea Torres:
Is that how you wanna play it, huh? Maybe I should kick you back to Riot, how about that?
Zackary Dyson:
Guys, please... There's already enough animosity between the two rosters, no need to carry it here at the announcer's table as well.
Jared Idol:
Aye. We are already going to see a few clashes between the two rosters, starting tonight when the former Lockdown Champion Luna takes on Riot's own Cass Baumer.
Bea Torres:
And speaking of Lockdown... The title will be on the line in a steel cage match between the current champion Selina Metzger and Rebecca Saint.
Zackary Dyson:
That's just one of the four titles match we willl see tonight. The Junior Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as well in what promises to be a highly entertaining match between Corey Grimes and Adam Webb.
Alyx Valero:
And then my favorite, the Invictus Championship, Dean's last shot at it nonetheless. It's go big or go home Deano, time to show if you can do it!
Jared Idol:
And of couse, in our main event the MWE Tag Team Champions Jetpack will take on the BreeTee Committee and the Happy Few.
Bea Torres:
Penny and Jet already successfully defended against both teams once, but tonight, it's a triple threat action, they could lose the titles even without being involved in the final decision!
Zackary Dyson:
That and much more in this first night of The Great White North... But first of all, we have a debut to witness, as Honey B. Meadows takes on Crystal Hilton.
Alyx Valero:
Let's kick this shit off!

Singles Match
Honey B. Meadows VS Crystal Hilton
Debuts are never easy, let alone making your debut in the opening match of a PPV. But making your debut in the opening match against a veteran and multi time champion? Let's say there was a whole lot of pressure on the young Honey B. Meadows tonight, as she took on a pissed off Crystal Hilton who immediately went for a side headlock, taking Honey down to the mat. Meadows wrestled her way out of the hold, connecting a hard chop on her chest as she got back to her feet. Crystal swung his arm for a right punch ducked by the young rookie who hit the ropes and connected with a springboard arm drag, sending the opponent in the far corner. She then charged at her, crashing against Hilton's boot when she raised her leg to counter the move, quickly lifting herself over the top turnbuckle and jumped at her with a crossbody, pinning Honey down for a count of two. The young rookie was making it up to her feet when Crystal connected with her Flashing Lights (Chick Kick), following up with a handspring standing moonsault called Smell The Roses. Once again the blonde girl lifted her shoulder before the three. Experience is something you can't teach, and Crystal had plenty more of it, which allowed her to take back control every time Honey seemed to find an opening. The young rookie finally was able to build some offense after catching her with an enziguri kick. Crystal was quickly back on her feet but Honeybee was right behind her, wrapping her arms around her waist and lifting her with a belly to back suplex, following with a legdrop. Hilton kicked out right after the two, rolling under the bottom rope to catch a break. Seeing the opponent standing on the apron, Honey walked toward her to drag her back into the ring. Crystal pulled her neck first on the top rope, capitalizing on the opportunity she created with a springboard knee smash to the back of the head. Honey was down and Hilton climbed on the top rope, trash talking some fans before jumping off with The Mega Buster dodged by Honey who rolled out of the way. Crystal crashed on the mat, arching her back in pain. Meadows was lightning quick to roll her on her shoulders with a complicated cradle, keeping her down on the mat for the three seconds necessary to get her first win in Millennium WINNER: Honey B. Meadows BY: Roll Up, 6:18 |
Jared Idol: "And she did it! Big win for the young rookie against a far more experienced and accomplished wrestler"
Bea Torres: "YEESSS! What a win for her, I'm team Honey already!"
Jared Idol: "If a good day starts in the morning, Honey definitely has a bright future ahead."
A chime is heard as we come backstage to see the Kawaii Deathmachine herself, Saki, smiling in an empty hallway as the lights flicker. Ominous, dark, eerie, just how she likes it. A great contrast to her bright pink hair and white school girl uniform. With a creepy smile she starts, rhyming constantly as usual.
SAKI:
Watching haters wonder why Saki got this game won
Singapore Mauler, Brawler, ain’t afraid none
She giggles, giving a shrug as she starts to skip forward, hands behind her. She stops suddenly to open a door in the hallway, as if beckoning the camera to enter. The room is filled with all kinds of gnarly items from barbwire to light tubes, a bag (of thumbtacks), and a chair. Dented, likely the one used on her not long ago. She giggles and stands in view.
SAKI:
Step into my office I’m the Doctor of death
Curing these bitches of breath
Bleedin’ your brain into mush
I became famous for bleedin’ you fucks..
She kicks the camera back out, following with a grin on her face.
SAKI:
Things I do in the ring are amazing
Saki’s just a violent whore: fuck you, pay me
Told me I was awful and that shit did not faze me
Gonna rip your faces off, test your bravery
Give you a real taste of what it’s like to play Extreme
Saki pauses and bites her lip, bouncing on the spot as her eyes (one blue and one pink) widen, she gazes at the camera. Slowly she moves closer and closer.
SAKI:
Empire Extreme, vacant and alone
Gonna need a champ that’s more than ‘homegrown’
Organic, manic..
Bring your house to panic
See, there’s that gauntlet, I’mma toss my name in
Gonna see what y’all ready to do to get the big win
Then, she licks the lens and everything fades out. Though we can still hear her giggling in the distance as she skips away.
The scene opens to a closeup shot of Brendan Callaghan chuckling and smiling at himself in the mirror. As the camera zooms out, you can see he’s actually wearing a fat suit with his regular wrestling tights. He turns to check out how everything looks on him before nodding to himself, looking very pleased. Soon a hand is on his shoulder and the person turns him around and it's none other than Jade Night.
Jade Night:
What are the hell are you wearing? That’s not going to help you out there tonight, you know that, right?
But Brendan stays grinning.
Brendan Callaghan:
Oh yeah, it will! It’s got some weight to it so Andrew will have to think twice about trying to throw me around the ring.
He nods, tapping his temple like his idea is so brilliant.
Brendan Callaghan:
And as for Nikki and Des, well, obviously I’ll be no match for them! Eh? This will be a quick match!
Jade sighs in frustration while shaking her head.
Jade Night:
What? That’s not how it works, Brendan. You’re going to weigh yourself down out there wearing that and you won’t be able to show off your own arsenal. If you slow yourself down, it will make you an easy target against Nikki and Tiny. You need to focus on what you do best and that’s take advantage of situations.
Jade points to her temple.
Jade Night:
You’re creative out there and this being a fatal four way? It means no count outs, no disqualification, all of it is thrown out of the window. That means you can take advantage of all of those tricks you have up your sleeve, babe.
Brendan frowns as he listens, then checks the weight of the fat suit, looking deep in thought.
Brendan Callaghan: Well…. I guess I can throw this at them and weigh them down? But it won’t be as funny though…
Jade looks as if she’s about to get upset before she takes a deep breath and grabs Brendan’s hand and peers up into his eyes.
Jade Night:
Funny isn’t what we’re going for out there, okay? We’re looking to win but if you want to do it in a hilarious way while picking up that win? Then do that but you don’t need fucking fat suit to be funny. You’re better than that and much smarter too.
She places both of her hands on his cheeks and smiles.
Jade Night:
Go out there and make me proud, alright?
Brendan smiles back.
Brendan Callaghan:
You think I’m smart? Huh okay… Fine, no fat suit then.
He takes it off and looks back at himself in the mirror with a funny face.
Brendan Callaghan:
Multi-person matches are tough and I just wanted one more advantage on our side. You know, besides you helping me ringside like always.
Then his face suddenly lights up.
Brendan Callaghan:
I know! What if you wear the fat suit? That’ll be the ultimate distraction!
Jade’s eyes widen in shock.
Jade Night:
BRENDAN!
She pauses and composes herself while Brendan’s cheeks puff up, trying to contain his laughter.
Jade Night:
That.. Would not be a good idea. Plus, it’d slow me down and I need to have your back out there. Besides… Would you want to have an image of a fat version of me burned into your memories!?
She folds her arms and lets out a huff.
Jade Night:
I will not have that happening!
Brendan bursts out laughing and raises his hands, as if in surrender.
Brendan Callaghan:
Okay, okay! I was just kidding! Yeah, no, I wouldn’t want that. I mean, unless it can’t be helped or whatever! It’s completely up to you! Heh..
He looks at her nervously before clearing his throat.
Brendan Callaghan:
Anyway, yup, you’re right. We’ll just go out there and do what we have to. Without the fat suit, it sure leaves me with other, possibly better possibilities… Just gotta figure out what to do. What to do, what to do….
He starts walking out of the locker room, the gears of his mind now shifting. Jade follows after him and the scene fades out.
Fatal 4-way Match
Brendan Callaghan VS Andrew Wilkow VS Nikki Knight VS Tiny Des
Four Riot stars who have been on a rough path in their time here in MWE were set to compete in a match that could represent, at least for one of them, an opportunity to get redemption and get back on track. The match started with Wilkow standing out and keeping the whole competition in check, gifting heavy punches lefts and rights. He rocked Nikki with a headbutt and lifted her for a powerslam. Destiny came charging in, getting caught by the big man with a tilt a whirl backbreaker. Brendan jumped off the turnbuckle with a double axe handle that barely Devin Hearst’s bodyguard, who slowly turned and, grabbing Callaghan by the throat, lifted him for a chokeslam. Nathan’s son desperately tried to fight out of it, swinging his legs and kicking Drew in the groin, forcing him to release the grasp. With the opponent bent over holding his jewels, Brendan quickly dropped him on his head with a snap DDT. Figgins made her presence felt superkicking Callaghan on the side of the head as soon as he got back up to his feet, but before she could even capitalize on it, the hometown girl Nikki Knight grabbed her from behind and dropped her on her back with a snap german suplex. Whoever said that size doesn’t matter, clearly hadn’t been in the ring with Wilkow.. The Big Man from Charleston, West Virginia was firmly in control. Nikki and Des were trying to double team him, but he grabbed them both by the back of their heads and bashed them one against the other. Brendan went for a dropkick that sent Wilkow against the ropes, from which he rebounded with a big clothesline that turned the former Liberty Trial Champion inside out. He then picked him up and lifted him over his head in a gorilla press position moving toward the ropes looking to throw him outside. Destiny went back on the attack, hitting the big man on the ribs with a stiff kick. As he doubled over in pain, Callaghan fell right over him in a sort of crossbody, but the unintentional pinning predicament was broken up by Nikki. It was only when they all teamed that they were able to take him down, taking turns to kick him before Nikki and Brendan knocked him out with a stereo superkick. Wilkow rolled out of the ring, only to get hit by a tope con hilo from Destiny, while inside the ring Brendan and Nikki were fighting it out in the middle of the ring, with the canadian girl connecting her Chivalry Is Dead to obtain a two count. Brendan kicked out and blatantly went for her eyes, raking them and leaving Knight temporary blinded. The referee had something to tell Brendan, who started arguing with the official keeping him distracted from Jade climbing on the apron and knocking Nikki down with a punch to the back of the head. After his girlfriend did her job, he pushed away the referee and connected the Southie Glory (Stalling Falling Chokebomb), making the cover right after. Jade’s scream of joy died in her throat when Destiny broke the pinfall in a spectacular fashion with a springboard 450, rolling Brendan on his back and laying on top of him for a pinning predicament, only getting a two. The young sister of Jacob Figgins had Brendan on the ropes, kicking tis chest repeatedly before grabbing his arm and sending him all the way across the ring, catching him with a leg lariat on the rebound. The match seemed to be in her hands when she dropped Callaghan with a springboard reverse ddt, following with the Fiery Illusion (Front Flip Elbowdrop). Already savoring the sweet taste of victory, she made the cover, but Nikki slid back in the ring and broke it up, picking up the young girl and unloading a flurry of kicks to her chest, locking her in a three quarter facelock and dropping her face first on the mat with the Knightmare. It couldn’t get much closer to three than this, but the match was still going thanks to Andrew grabbing Knight’s foot and pulling her out of the ring, lifting her over his shoulders for a devastating Country Roads (Jacknife Powerbomb) to the outside. He then entered the ring once again, right when Tiny Des was standing up to her feet, charging in at full speed and almost decapitating the poor young girl for with his LARIAAAAT! the three count. WINNER: Andrew Wilkow BY: Pinfall (LARIAAAAT!), 9:41 |
Alyx Valero: "The Riot guys already KILLING it!"
Zackary Dyson: "A very fun match between four Riot stars, but in the end, size did matter and the big guy Andrew Wilkow picked up the win."
Alyx Valero: "Him and Hearst are definitely a force to be reckon with."
Zackary Dyson: "They definitely are. We'll see later tonight if Devin can earn himself a golden opportunity, and if Drew will play any role in it."
The camera is intruding. Normally these things are done with permission, the cameraman dragged into the scene by that man with the smile he couldn’t figure out the meaning of. But there was none of that today. Instead, the cameraman had simply stumbled upon the scene and, because it was his job, started recording.
Rie Shimizu sits on her knees, illuminated only by the candles that surround her. She is speaking to herself, or rather perhaps to what she believes lingers around her...
Rie Shimizu:
ごめんなさい。
She bows her head briefly as she says that, and when it raises she lets out a long sigh.
Rie Shimizu:
私はとても疲れている。
She shakes her head.
Rie Shimizu:
このようになるはずはありませんでした。
She brings a hand up and rubs at her eyes.
Rie Shimizu:
私は大きな希望を持っていました。 高すぎる。
Her tone is rather tired, exhausted nearly.
Rie Shimizu:
私は格闘したいだけです。代わりに、私は馬鹿げた戦争が私の周りで行われているのを見ます。 そして今夜、私は椅子に襲われます。何もしていないのに. 私がそこにいたという理由だけで。これは単に物事がここにある方法です。
A small pause.
Rie Shimizu:
私は疲れました。
She lets out another sigh, her eyes closing. She sits in silence for a time. When her eyes finally open again, looking forward, and she speaks again, the tone has shifted. Not really determined, but perhaps...accepting.
Rie Shimizu:
それにもかかわらず、私は全力を尽くします。うまくいけば、私はすべての今夜を喜ばせる方法を見つけることができます。
She stands up, dusting her knees off before looking around her, her tone lower and more certain about something.
Rie Shimizu:
たとえ私が苦しんでいても、それがあなた全員のためであれば、私は我慢します。
And anything else she would do would go unseen, as a hand comes into view, pressing into the lens from behind. Wheeled around against his will, the cameraman points the camera behind him to find Homare Kato. Kato’s expression is hard to read as he wags a finger at the camera.
Homare Kato:
How rude, watching what you’re not meant to see. But oh well. It can’t be helped in this place, I suppose.
He shrugs, and waves a hand behind him.
Homare Kato:
Go on. Rie has nothing to say for a camera this time. Her mind is entirely on the ordeal she will have to go through tonight, the culmination of a situation she never asked to be involved in but now has to finish. So you can understand her priorities not being on words. So just exhibit patience and wait until the match to know the truth of her feelings.
And with that he simply steps around the cameraman and walks away without another word, the last thing the camera catches before the cameraman kills the recording is the edges of Kato’s mouth starting to tick up into that smile again.
Singles Match
Saki VS Rie Shimizu VS Christopher LaGarde
The final chapter of a rivalry, the one between Christopher LaGarde and Saki that started back at Dark Web when the leader of the swayed parade eliminated the former Empire Extreme Champion from the Battle Royal and she made sure he’d pay for it, hitting him with a chair and making his elimination an easy game for Andrew Wilkow. Rie Shimizu was caught in the crossfire between the two rivals, getting a couple of chair shots from the Kawaii DeathMachine when all she wanted to do was fighting the match she was booked in. Saki and LaGarde didn’t even wait for the bell to ring before jumping at each other throat. Christopher forced Saki on the ropes and dropped her out of the ring with a clothesline, turning around to a dropkick from Shimizu that sent him joining the Singapore Mauler on the floor outside. Pulling out a move we didn’t see her do often, the young japanese took a run at the opposite side of the ring and launched herself between the middle and top rope with a suicide dive, taking out both opponents at once. The canadian fans appreciated the move and started chanting her name, while she picked up Saki and rolled her back inside the ring. LaGarde took a break on the outside watching his opponents battling it out in the middle of the ring, trading forearms. Saki was smiling at Rie’s hard strikes, despite clearly losing ground. Suddenly she turned things around with a knee strike to the mid section, followed by a stomp to the foot and an enziguri kick. With the opponent down, she hit the ropes to gain some speed, receiving a kick to the back from Christopher who then dragged her out on the apron. The two contenders started brawling, until the leader of the Swayed Parade kicked the opponent in the stomach and dropped her on her head with a ddt on the apron. Saki fell down, motionless, apparently out cold. With a smile, LaGarde entered the ring where he found Rie waiting for him with a back kick, starting a series of strikes that stunned the former NGW Tag Team Champion, until RIe took him out with the Flash Nap (Jumping Spinning Knee Strike). She quickly made the cover, but LaGarde kicked out in two. Wasting no time, she transitioned into the Deepest Slumber (Guillotine Choke) cutting the air supply. Christopher was starting to fade out, with the referee staying very close to the action ready to call for the bell as soon as LaGarde would give up or lose conscience. Luckily for him, Saki recovered just in time to deny Shimizu the win. The former Empire Extreme Champion was on fire tonight, holding her ground against a formidable striker as Rie Shimizu, matching her blow for blow. A surprise headbutt changed the course of the exchange, allowing Saki to land a series of three stiff forearms to the jaw before sending Shimizu against the ropes and stopping her running with a kick to the stomach that doubled the young japanese over. Saki was quick to put her head between her thighs and lifted her upside down, dropping to a seated position and planting Rie with a piledriver. Homare Kato seemed particularly concerned when the Singapore Mauler made the cover, but his client still had some fight in her and kicked out in two. Seeing LaGarde getting up to his feet, Saki turned her attention on his old rival, allowing Shimizu to recover in the corner and have some last minute advice from her manager. After a short brawl, cut off by a thumb to the eye by the leader of the Swayed Parade, Christopher lifted Saki over his shoulder and dropped her down with his Social Deconstruction (Fireman’s Carry into a kick to the head), failing to capitalize as the Singapore Mauler rolled out of the ring after the impact. LaGarde dropped on his knees trying to grab her before she left under the bottom rope, unsuccessfully. He was still on all fours when Shimizu charged in and connected with the bicycle axe kick known as Spirit Tour to the back of his head, knocking him out for the three count. WINNER: Rie Shimizu BY: Pinfall (Spirit Tour), 8:41 |
Jared Idol: "Well, looks like Rie eventually got her retribution."
Bea Torres: "She got caught in this rivalry between Saki and LaGarde, but she was able to made the best out of it."
Jared Idol: "And she added another name to the list of people she defeated, a former champion nonetheless."
Bea Torres: "Rie is definitely one to watch, everyone in Millennium has been put on notice!"
The scene cuts backstage to Corey Grimes sitting down in his locker room. He’s dressed down in his ring gear and wearing a leather jacket as he looks down at the Junior Heavyweight Championship in his hands, as it’s clearly he’s in deep thought. A blonde athletic girl walks into frame, moving behind Corey’s back and gently removing his jacket. Some of you may recognize her as Sharon Gamble, Grimes’ girlfriend. Resting her hands on his shoulders, she starts massaging them, moving her thumbs in circles.
Sharon Gamble:
Uff… Your back is all knots. This isn’t good, Corey, relax...
Her voice is calm, almost hypnotic. Corey let’s out a sigh as he nods his head in agreement.
Corey Grimes:
I know, I know. You know how I get with moments like this. It’s an intense feeling but once that bell rings?
He glances up as her as he reaches up to his shoulder and places it on one of her hands.
Corey Grimes:
It all fades away and I’m in that zone where I can’t be stopped.
She looks down at him with a soft smile, nodding her head lightly.
Sharon Gamble:
I know. Not all tension is bad, and you already proved you can perform at your best when the pressure is at its highest…
Sharon keeps rubbing and massaging the Junior Heavyweight Champion’s shoulder.
Sharon Gamble:
But too much pressure? That can be counterproductive. I saw you training all week at Nightfall, I was there with you watching hours of Adam’s past matches when we could have just binged Game Of Thrones…
She rolls her eyes, letting out a brief chuckle.
Sharon Gamble:
You got this, babe.
Corey stands up and turns, grabbing Sharon’s hands with his as he smiles and nods.
Corey Grimes:
I do got this and I appreciate you having my back every step of the way. I know it gets hard with how obsessive I get for my matches but after tonight I’ll make it up to you. We’ll have a little get away to celebrate this win and maybe binge some more GoT and do some other… stuff.
He laughs before grinning. Sharon is taken aback by his last remark and, putting her hands on his chest, pushes him back, laughing with him.
Sharon Gamble:
You’re incorrigible!
Then she wraps her arms around him in a quick hug.
Sharon Gamble:
A little getaway sounds good though. I can take a couple of days, champ....
Corey Grimes:
You can and you will!
He leans in and steals a quick kiss.
Corey Grimes:
We both will. But first, I’ve got to kick Adam’s ass tonight and retain this championship. Then I’m all yours.
On their sweet embrace, the camera cuts to the next segment.

Tag Team Match
Olivia Wythe & Levi VS Spectre & Trey Cole
Spectre and Cole started making a name for themselves in Riot with a series of wins and good performances. But the fans here at the Bell Centre were all for Olivia and Levi who seemed surprise at the reception the fans gave them taking a minute to enjoy this moment. And they paid for it, with Spectre and Cole blindsiding them with the first of a series of forearm shots. Spectre easily got the upper hand against Levi, forcing her all the way back to the rope strike after strike, eventually tossing her outside the ring with a lariat. Her partner Olivia instead was more of a challenge for Cole, as she was actually fighting back, even getting the upper hand on the exchange. At least until the Die Fly came to help him, double teaming Wythe and eventually force her to her knees, defenseless from the double superkick that knocked her out. Cole made the cover while Spectre already started celebrating, way too soon since Levi climbed back in the ring and broke the pin. Spectre charged at her receiving a kick to the knee followed by another one to the side of the head. She ducked Trey’s clothesline and jumped on the middle rope, flipping him over with the springboard hurricanrana she calls “It’s Hot In Topeka”, cleaning the ring and helping her friend to get back to her feet, as the fans were going nuts after witnessing this great start. The referee eventually was able to enforce his authority, sending Olivia and Spectre to the respective corners with Levi and Cole being the legal competitors for the respective teams. Trey was having an easy game against the smaller and less experienced wrestler, using the size and power advantage to prevent her from exploiting her speed. With a back kick he doubled her over, quickly following with a rising kick and a roaring elbow to the face. He went for an irish whip, ending up in the corner after Levi reversed it. The Goblin Child charged at him and leaped for a splash, getting caught by Cole who slammed her on the mat with a corner STO. He then offered the tag to his partner, who immediately climbed to the top rope and jumped on Levi with a 450 splash, hooking the leg to obtain a two count. The pace of the match picked up now that Spectre was in, and for a moment this seemed to favor Levi who started building some momentum after surprising Spectre with a sunset flip and a dropkick after the kick out. Kick after kick, the Baby K finally knocked the opponent down and climbed on the top rope, diving off with a crossbody countered by the master of the Die Fly style with a superkick. Spectre and Cole were doing a great job isolating the younger and smaller member of the opponent’s team, keeping the powerhouse Olivia out of the contest. And the reason why they wanted to avoid it became clear when Levi exploited a little hesitation during a Doomsday Device attempt to plant Cole on his head with a reverse rana, reaching her corner before Spectre could jump off the turnbuckle and stop her. Wythe entered the ring all gun blazing, delivering clothesline to both her opponents, whipping Cole in the corner and launching Spectre against him before squashing them both in the corner. Trey rolled out of the ring, leaving his partner and legal man alone in the ring with Wythe, who easily lifted him in a fireman’s carry position and drove him to the mat with a cutter. She made the cover, but Trey broken it up. The two Riot star ignored the referee and double teamed the Kansas born, just like they did earlier in the match. But this time Olivia rebounded back from the ropes and leveled them both with a double clothesline. She wasted no time and picked up Spectre, connecting the Princess’ Cut and making the cover. Trey tried to break it up, but out of nowhere came Levi with her 25 cent jawbreaker (Running Bicycle Knee), stopping him before he could interrupt the count. WINNER: Olivia Wythe & Levi BY: Pinfall (Princess Cut), 11:20 |
Zackary Dyson: "Another win for this team! They are definitely on a roll"
Alyx Valero: "Olivia and Levi has been impressive ever since making their debut back in December. Tonight has been a furher confirmation that they are the present and future of the tag division."
Zackary Dyson: "Yeah, and whoever walks out with the titles from the main event tonight should keep an eye on these two young girls."
We cut to the backstage area where Cole looks ready to compete later in the night. He moves around a bit, still getting warmed up and occasionally glancing over at the Invictus Championship belt that sit on a chair just opposite of him. He lets out a small sigh and then turns to the camera that is focused on him.
Cole Gregory:
Tonight is all about that championship there. MY championship. A title that no one else in this company has held other than myself. And that’s despite Dean talking about how he was destined for the title and how it was his even before the match to crown the first champion was even booked… And yet, it’s still with me.
Cole takes a moment to look at the championship again.
Cole Gregory:
You know why Dean hasn’t won this championship yet? He hasn’t evolved as these fights have continued. He still looks for that knock out punch because he has such a limited skill set that that is what he always needs to go for. I’m not stupid out in the ring, I’m not going to try to stand and throw strikes with Dean. That will just get me beat on. That’s why much like most of my win in this division, I’m going to take Dean to the deep water and make that big guy use up all of his endurance and when he’s gasping on his last breath, boom I end it.
He gives a small shrug.
Cole Gregory:
There’s not mystery to it really. I have done this before and I’m going to do it again to Dean. I know his heavy strikes are coming and he knows if I get a grip on him I’m going to twist and pull that limb in ways that will make the joints pop with excitement. You might also be wondering why I’m a bit more relaxed than usual. Well, the pressure in this fight is still on Dean, this is a must win for him. Look at the Invictus Division. Right now? Only him and I have really stood out. So if he doesn’t beat me? He’s going to have a long wait to challenge for this championship again. But me? I can come back for this belt when I want and make myself the first two time Invictus Champion. So, let’s see what you go Deano..
Cole gives a small smile before turning back to his stretches.
Singles Match
Cass Baumer VS Luna
The Match was almost immediately to a rocky start the moment that the bell rang with Luna opening the match up with a Krav Maga throat strike that immediately threw The Headliner off of her game, gasping and holding her neck while the Referee started in on reprimanding Luna who simply smirked and threw her hands up in a ‘what can you do’ sort of gesture. The crowd seemed to love it, Cass being a favorite to boo at, even against the alleged bad guys. Once that was clear, the pace of the match was immediately set as the two tore into eachother, each one utilizing their luchador like style to expose the crowd to their own versions of flash and panache, hammering in deceptively hard hits dripping in kinetic hurt bombs, from dragon whips and lariats to axe and spin kicks that could have leveled lesser wrestlers, but only seemed to amp up the violence between them! It wasn’t until one saw the opening and took it that the match truly turned one way or the other with its tide of ebbing flow between the two. A hard hitting “Upgrade” from Luna that nearly ended with Luna removing Cass’s head echoed through the whole damned arena, the smaller blonde moving for the roll up almost immediately! 1.. 2.. --! KICK OUT! Cass wasn’t having it, not today! Not at all, she was on her feet, and despite the trickle of blood coming from her hairline from point of impact, she was far from letting it go, tasting her own vitae just to try and throw Luna off her game, the Headliner was getting back to her feet and coming right at her with vicious chops and jabs! Unprecedented for the Kiwi based reporter, she was literally unloading on Luna who was exchanging shots with her. For a moment, it was less of a wrestling match and more of a back alley brawl of a slug fest between two professionals. One was trained in Krav Maga, one was a graduate of the Na Fianna War Camp, and both were looking for blood. A Discus Elbow from Cass to Luna’s nose opened her up, giving her a bloody wound to match Cass’s own, the two were covered in red, and neither were looking back down, but both were tired, both were fatigued, and in all honesty? It was starting to show. One of them had to do something drastic, and it was clear. Luna feinted, slipping in with another attempted throat strike. Cass, seeing it telegraphed took it on the chin rather than her throat, but from the angle? Masked it from the ref, ducking her head and clutching her throat, fake retching to the side as the ref immediately moved on to Luna to admonish her! Luna looks shocked, trying to point out that she missed! Lena Skye stepped over the barricade and approached the ring behind the referee's back. With a swift gesture, she slid something in for Cass, a brass knuckle that the Headliner immediately wore, keeping it hidden from both the referee and her opponent. When the official finally turned around and spotted the Colossal one, near the apron, he warned her to stay out of the ring, threatening a disqualification for Baumer if she even tried anything at all. Out of his sight, Cass dropped her act and caught the former Lockdown Champion with a punch to the jaw, taking a running start and hitting Luna with the FACT CHECK! downing her distracted opponent to her and the Ref’s surprise! Rolling her up for the pin! WINNER: Cass Baumer BY: Pinfall (Fact Check), 9:32 |
Alyx Valero: "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
Bea Torres: "Oh shut up! See? This is why nobody likes you Riot folks! You are only good for cheating!"
Alyx Valero: "Whatever it takes, that's what our boss said... While yours was collecting his teeth after Aella fucked him up!"
Bea Torres: "What she did to Gian was disgusting and she should've been fired. But I guess I shouldn't expect justice from a bunch of thugs who can't win without breaking the rules, right?"
Backstage after Luna's match, she's got a few bruises from the contest visible on herself from a tough contest she believed she was going to win but turned out rather differently than she expected as the cameras follow her.
Luna Smith:
What was that Riot loser doing getting involved in my match!?
She vents to the surrounding area but is only looking towards her brother, Dean, currently working on being loose for his upcoming title match..
Dean Smith:
Luna, calm down.
Luna Smith:
I won't calm down. I just lost my PPV match to Cass Baumer thanks to Lena Skye.
Dean Smith:
They did tag together on Riot a couple of weeks ago.
Annoyed, Luna throws him a sharp look.
Luna Smith:
Thanks for telling me that now! Now that loss is stuck on my record and everything looks bleak and-
Dean finally approaches her and does a small calm down motion with his hands.
Dean Smith:
Look. What happened out there sucks the big one and once I get back from my title match tonight we'll sort it all out.
Luna Smith:
No. She's apart of Riot so you'll deal with her, as Invictus Champion. Knock her out -- of the company completely.
She snaps back, nostrils flaring. Hands, arms and shoulders tensing up all at once.
Dean Smith:
We'll see, Luna.
Which makes Luna scoff and roll her eyes.
Luna Smith:
I hate when you say that.
Before stomping off for a dramatic exit while Dean pops his hood back on before stretching his arms out as the Millennium music plays as a background before fading to black.
Invictus Championship Match
Cole Gregory (c) VS Dean Smith
Ever since its inception, the Invictus Championship has been an affair between Cole Gregory and Dean Smith. After beating Dean at Deep In The Heart to be crowned as the first champion and successfully defending it at Dark Web, Cole was called to one last defense against Smith here tonight. First Round: The pressure was all on the challenger, who found himself in a “back against the wall” situation. Should he fail to beat Cole tonight, he won’t get another opportunity at the title until Gregory holds it. It seemed that the high stakes were too much for him to handle, as the first round saw Cole dominating him with his precise strikes, a field that in their past encounters saw Dean having the best. It looked like the match would come to a sudden and quite embarrassing ending when Cole connected a spinning heel kick, catching him right to the temple when we were only two minutes in the match. Dizzy, Dean made it back to his feet, staggering while Cole went back on the attack, jumping at him and taking him down, hitting him with a series of punches. Smith raised his arms in protection, blocking most of the blows until Cole stopped, changing his strategy and going for a submission instead, shifting to a cross armbreaker knowing all too well about Dean’s problems with that right arm. Smith rolled him on his back and with great effort lifted Gregory, slamming him down with a one armed powerbomb. And this was it for the first round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Gregory 10-8 Dyson: Gregory 10-8 Valero: Gregory 10-8 Second Round: Thing looked even more even in the second round, when Dean was able to land a few strikes right off the bell, attacking the ribs of the Invictus Champion before swinging with a big right hook. Cole was able to dodge it, bending backwards as Smith’s punch passed a few inches away from his face. He answered with a front kick that pushed the challenger a few steps back. As Gregory charged in, Smith caught him with an STO, slamming him on the canvas and mounted on top of him, pounding him with a series of rights and lefts. Quickly, almost as if he was waiting for this opportunity and lured the opponent in, Cole caught him in a triangle choke. Dean struggled to get out of the submission, using his free hand to punch the opponent’s ribs, eventually forcing him to break the submission. While he was still catching his breath, Cole knocked him down again with a vicious knee to the face. The referee went to check on Dean who was bleeding from a cut over his eyebrow, courtesy of Cole’s strike. The Vegas born pushed the referee away and stood back to his feet, the blood loss seemingly not affecting him, or actually, enraging him even more. With a roar, he assaulted Cole with heavy punches, most of them ducked by the champion who even landed a few kicks to the ribs before the bell signaled the end of the second round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Gregory 10-9 Dyson: Gregory 10-9 Valero: Gregory 10-9 Final Round Gut check time for Dean Smith. With no other option but to win via submission or KO against an opponent who already proved to have his number, Dean entered this third and last round with the weight of the world on his shoulders. Trying to keep his calm to avoid the mistake he made in the second round, he approached the opponent cautiously. Cole had no rush at all, should he manage to resist five more minutes, he’d walk out with the title. Nonetheless, he struck first, a quick punch that caught Dean right above the eye, opening once again the cut that the medic personnel patched between the rounds. Smith instinctively brought his hand to the cut, wiping away some blood from his eye. Gregory tried to capitalize on this momentary distraction to inflict more damage to the challenger, who was able to keep the champ away with the Down With The Door. The sudden strike caught Cole off guard and doubled him over. Smith followed with a knee lift and a lariat combination, knocking the champ down. Wasting no time, he picked him up and tossed him in the corner, charging in with a running uppercut. Cole looked stunned, unable to protect himself from Dean’s strikes that started to become more and more violent. Stuck in the corner, the champion tried to react, pushing Dean away and catching him with a roundhouse kick. But right when he was starting to build some momentum, Dean surprised him with a throat jab, following with a devastating spinning backfist. Cole was down on his knees, catching his breath and slowly making it back to his feet. As soon as he stood back to a vertical position, Smith dove from the top rope, hitting him with the Mean Dean (Flying Knee Strike) to the side of the head. Cole was down, motionless. Bleeding and exhausted, Dean fell on his knees, clutching on the Invictus Championship the referee handed him. WINNER: Dean Smith (NEW CHAMPION) BY: Knockout (Mean Dean), Round 3, 4:02 |
Bea Torres: "NEW CHAMP!"
Jared Idol: "Third time was a charm for Dean Smith"
Bea Torres: "Cole fought hard, and it seemed like he had the match won in more than one occasion. But Dean's tenacity gave him the win in the end. And that knee, oh boy!"
The scene cuts backstage as Chris Constantine Jr. stands in front of a brick wall. Olivia stands next to him as she’s as beautiful as ever with a red sparkling dress. Olivia shows off a smile, but Chris isn’t in the best of moods as he begins to speak.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
I can’t believe I had to be in the same dressing room as Riot roster members. It was the worst honey! They dress like white trash, they smell like they hadn’t taken a shower in weeks, and their belongings were thrown everywhere! They acted like they owned the dressing room. Well I’m glad to say that I put my foot down and told those B Rated losers to clean up their act as I sprayed Febreze right in their eyes! And you, Olivia! All those Riot girls were eyeing you and.....God forbid what they had in mind. Thank God you got out of their in time.
Olivia and Chris embrace as the two love birds look into each others eyes.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
If Riot thinks that they’re going to show up to his super show and out class the Millennium roster, well they have another thing coming because Millennium is the most viewed and the most talented roster for a reason! Those hacks over at Riot don’t belong in the same arena as us! They belong in some backyard wrestling promotion.
Chris pauses for a second as he places his arm around Olivia’s shoulder.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
Speaking of backyard wrestlers! Alan Envy! That’s where you belong at these days, you loser! You used to be something special in this industry! All the awards and the big moments you’ve been apart of. Now look at you! All those years of putting your body on the line have caught up to you and now you’re just a shell of a man that you once were. Beginning of the year I would had been licking my chops at getting a nice pay day with you. Now? Now I don’t even want to be in the same ring with you. A Body Slam, a kick to the back of the leg, and then a Figure Four Leg Lock for the tap out! Ding! Ding! Ding! Winner! Chris Constantine Jr.!
Chris gives a cocky grin as the camera goes to commercial.
Singles Match
Alan Envy VS Chris Constantine Junior
This rivalry between Constantine and Envy has been going on for a while now, with a momentary truce when they teamed up in a losing effort against Cass Baumer and Aella Foley a couple of weeks ago. But even then, a miscommunication was the cause of their downfall when Alan refused to use the brass knuckle Olivia handed him, allowing Baumer to steal it and pick up the win for the Riot team. And Chris’ wife was the one Alan addressed before starting the match, leaving his flank open to Constantine who didn’t waste the chance to blindside him with an elbow to the back of the head that dropped Envy on his knees. CCJ then positioned himself behind Alan’s back, waiting for him to get back to his feet to grab him by the back of the head and slam him face first on the mat with a bulldog, going for a first quick pinfall that only resulted in a two count. He then dragged Alan back to his feet, blocking his attempted reaction and connecting with some knife edge chops, forcing him all the way back to the corner. From there, he whipped him all the way across the ring against the opposite turnbuckle, rushing at him with a clothesline. Grabbing his arm, he dragged him back in the middle of the ring and dropped him down with a russian leg sweep. If the first part of the match was all Constantine, Alan came out around the five minute mark, turning the tides when he resisted a suplex attempt from CCJ and countered it with a Gordbuster. Chris was still pulling himself up when Alan kicked him on the side of the head with a running big boot, knocking him down once again. The Lonestar went for the cover, but Chris kicked out in two. The fans in the Bell Centre witnessed a very technical contest, as the two men were now trading holds in the middle of the ring. With a standing switch, Chris reversed the waistlock and positioned himself behind Alan, grabbing his legs and dropping him on his face, floating into a front facelock. Envy pulled himself up, trying to free himself with a punch to the side, aiming for Chris’ floating ribs. Constantine felt the blow, but was quick to answer with a knee to the face, finally lifting him for a suplex. Alan kicked out from the pinfall attempt and hit Chris with a headbutt when he pulled him up, sending him against the ropes and launching him in the air, catching him with a pop up death valley driver that gave him a two count. The action was back and forth in this evenly matched contest. Constantine got another near fall after he hit Alan with a falling neckbreaker. A minute later it was Envy’s turn to stare at the referee in disbelief after he told him that the buckle bomb/scoop powerslam combination only gave him a two count. Chris slowly got back to his feet, helping himself with the ropes. Alan sneaked behind his back, wrapping his arms around his neck and locking him in the Paying Dues (Katahajime). Olivia tried to slide in, distracting the referee long enough for Chris to raise his leg backwards and hitting him with a kick in the crotch, breaking free from the submission and turning around, connecting the American Strong Piledriver for the three count. WINNER: Chris Constantine Junior BY: Pinfall (American Strong Piledriver), 11:44 |
Zackary Dyson: "By hook or by crook, Constantine walked out with another win tonight"
Alyx Valero: "Ugh, I hate this guy, did I tell you?"
Zackary Dyson: "At least once a week ever since he started showing up to the Riot events."
Alyx Valero: "Well, I'll say it again louder for the people in the back. I hate this guy!"
The cameras cut to inside of Adam Webb’s locker room, where Webb is seen finishing off the laces on his boots. He glances up at the camera and flashes a quick smile before going back to lacing up the boots. He keeps his head down but starts talking.
Adam Webb:
Tonight, I get another chance at the Junior Heavyweight Championship. Corey and I have had a world class match already and I’m excited to give the fans another amazing match that they will never forget.
He lets out a sigh as he keeps lacing the boots.
Adam Webb:
I’m really focused on this title, it would be a nice thing to have to show my time here in Millennium is really worth something. I might have beat Corey before but that just means I need to work twice as hard in this one. Corey isn’t a pushover and has proved that several times over. So, I’m going to need to give everything I got to get past him.
He finishes off his boots and looks up to the camera.
Adam Webb:
Lets See If Tonight is my night. All I know is the fans are going to see an amazing match that people will be talking about for a while.
He stands up and smiles before leaving the locker room.
Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Corey Grimes (c) VS Adam Webb
It was a couple of weeks ago back in Halifax when Adam Webb and Corey Grimes tore the house down with a great match that saw the former Parkcore Champion coming out on top, earning himself this title opportunity. Safe to assume the current Junior Heavyweight champion rewatched and studied that match over and over again, looking for that mistake that allowed his opponent to come out on top, and find a strategy to walk out from the Bell Centre with the title still around his waist. With these premises and precedents, this was one of the most anticipated matches of the night, And the two high flier didn’t disappoint, setting the match to a quick pace from the get going. Adam reversed and irish whip attempt and sent the champion against the ropes, Corey rebounded back ducking under the opponent leapfrog, hitting the ropes one more time and running right into Webb’s dropkick. Adam went for a springboard moonsault, correcting his trajectory in mid air to land on his feet when Grimes moved out of the way. As soon as he turned around though, he ate a superkick from the Junior Heavyweight Champion. The impact sent him out of the ring, where he quickly got back to his feet. Just as quickly as Corey jumped on the top rope and from there, leaped onto him with a springboard shooting star press to the outside. The fans were already on their feet, chanting for both competitors. Adam tried a hip toss, with Corey landing on his feet and quickly hooking his arms with Webb’s, bending forward and pinning him with a backslide. The former SSW superstar kicked out in two, ducking under Corey’s kick and rolling him over for another near fall. The two competitors were back on their feet, Adam went for a right hand dodged by Corey who dropped him shoulders on the mat with a crucifix pin. Webb kicked out once again, following up with a low dropkick to the rising opponent, knocking him back on the mat. When he went to pick him up, Grimes surprised him with a cradle, getting real close to the three this time, as he pointed out with a clear gesture with his index and thumb. Adam shook his head, locking up with the champion once again and lifting his knee into his mid-section, rapidly kicking the opponent and completing his sequence with the roaring elbow called The Punch Line. Now that the champion was down, the challenger went for another springboard moonsault, this time connecting and hooking the leg with a cover. The impression the fans were having was that Adam had the champion number, just like two weeks ago. His striking combination were paying out, wearing down the champion who found himself in the corner now, courtesy of an irish whip from Webb. He charged in with a jumping knee/bulldog combination, followed by a cover for another two count. Drawing energy from the part of the crowd that was chanting his name, Corey tried a reaction, creating an opening with a slingblade. After kicking Adam in the ribs, he then lifted him in a suplex position and dropped him frontally, knocking him down with a kick to the side of the head and following with a running shooting star press. Webb raised his shoulder, looking dizzy after that nasty kick to the head. Corey capitalized on the favorable moment, planting him on his face with a hurricanrana driver and, while Adam was getting up to his feet, he knocked his lights out with the Sac-Town Explosion (Running Single Leg Dropkick). This was it, Corey dropped into a cover, confident to have retained the gold. Imagine his shock when Webb kicked out. The two young men kept fighting, with Adam almost pulling a shocker when he dropped Corey on his knee with a gutbuster and quickly left the ring, connecting the Superman’s Cape (Springboard forearm smash). He set up Corey for the Webbscution (backpack stunner) but the champion broke free, kicking Adam in the gut and lifting him with a double underhook into a facebuster known as CG-1 WIn, this time bringing home the victory. WINNER: Corey Grimes (STILL CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (CG-1 Win), 10:54 |
Zackary Dyson: "Another classic between these two! What a match!"
Alyx Valero: "Corey Grimes retained the title at the end of another high octane match against Adam Webb. It's a shame if had to end!"
Zackary Dyson: "Indeed. But I'm sure this is not the last we've seen between these two."
The Happy Few’s fearsome duo, NEON and OMI, stand in a dimly lit hallway. Their respective attires reflected their moods. Jet black suits. Stern faces. No smiles. OMI and NEON simply stand glaring at the camera for a moment until June Oikawa enters the frame. Her red dress provides contrast.
June Oikawa:
Do you know how rare it is a for a professional athlete to receive a championship opportunity? Some people dedicate their entire lives to their craft, and they still do not receive one.
June takes a step forward.
June Oikawa:
Furthermore, do you know how rare it is for an athlete to receive multiple chances? Multiple chances at the same championship? Oh my…
June shakes her head. There’s no use stating the odds; everyone knows they are low.
June Oikawa:
NEON and OMI have received a third chance to capture the Millennium Tag Team Championships. It was not a gimme. It was not a handout. Despite not winning the championship on the two previous occasions, OMI and NEON have remained dominant. They have continued to prove their dominance in the squared circle. Thus, they have been given one last opportunity.
June pauses for a moment.
June Oikawa:
I know what you are probably thinking. You are questioning their greatness because they failed to win the previous times, yes? Well, allow me to give you a different narrative.
She nods.
June Oikawa:
The Brothers McMillion stole that first opportunity away from OMI and NEON. I shall not rehash too much. They have been dealt with since then. But the fact of the matter is they cheated.
There’s another pause.
June Oikawa:
What would two lesser women have done? Quit? Pack their bags? Certainly. NEON and OMI did no such thing. They regrouped and they got right back to work. They improved. They grew.
June takes a moment to collect her thoughts.
June Oikawa:
For lack of better words, OMI and NEON’s second opportunity ended in a draw. It was certainly disheartening. But it didn’t break them. Because again, it allowed them to grow. It allowed them to stand right here before you today.
She nods once more.
June Oikawa:
NEON and OMI are not foolish. They are aware that this is likely they’re last opportunity to capture the gold. However, that prospect shall not hinder them from their goal. In fact, it is likely added motivation for them.
June turns and looks over at OMI. Unlike usual, though, OMI doesn’t so much as flinch, let alone actually say anything, until eventually June’s attention returns to the camera.
June Oikawa:
That knowledge does raise an interesting point, however: what does it say that the best results that have been managed against NEON and OMI have been a draw, and a disreputable victory? What does it say that the only successes that have been gained against these two, as a team, were far from decisive? It says, to me, that while there may be room to grow and improve, champions or not, NEON and OMI are the two heading into this match with the most momentum. It says, to me, that Jetpack only know what it takes to almost defeat them. It says, to me, that the favorites going into this match are not the champions, but--ironically, perhaps--the team that has failed twice before.
While she may not respond, the reminder of those prior failures gets the some reaction from OMI, even if it’s just her facial features tensing up and her teeth grinding.
June Oikawa:
We have warned you in the past: no match with the Happy Few is ever the same. They learn from every match--victory, or defeat. The duo that defeated The Mighty Now Thrive in Ottawa was not the same as the team that drew with Jetpack at Dark Web, nor will it be the same as the one entering the Tag Team Championship match tonight. Win or lose, they continue to prepare, they continue to train and to hone themselves. For just such an opportunity.
June pauses for just a beat as she turns in NEON’s direct. NEON simply gives a small grunt. June then turns back towards the camera
June Oikawa:
Well, I don’t think there is much more that I can say. The battle draws near. It is time for OMI and NEON to capitalize on this final opportunity.
The camera rests on them for a moment before the picture fades out.
Singles Match
Melissa Reeves VS SILK
What started as a friendly Twitter back and forth has led to of wrestling’s top stars to this moment as they square off for the first time. The bell rings and both SILK and Mel walk to the center where Melissa extends her hand that SILK grabs and shakes. Then SILK opens his arms for a hug and Melissa hugs him but as SILK goes to pull away she pulls him back in, using all of her might to drop him down with a quick belly to belly suplex followed by a pin attempt that gets only a one and a half count. Melissa gets back up to her feet, winking back at SILK who can only smirk in response. SILK stands up and presents Melissa with the option to tie up and she quickly obliges. SILK overpowers her with his larger frame, though Melissa puts up a commendable fight. Eventually she’s backed up into the corner and SILK goes to chop her but instead puts his hands up, beginning to back up. Almost offended that SILK wouldn’t give her his all in the corner, Melissa comes running towards him with a determined look painted across his face but SILk responds with a drop toe hold and then shifts over onto her back, locking her into a rear chin lock. SILK let’s go after a moment, hops back to his feet and spreads his arms out wide, playing towards the crowd as Melissa now is up as well. Reeves again charges in and SILK back body drops her but she manages to flip over and land on her feet! SILK turns around and is hit hard with a running forearm smash by Melissa. SILK backs up a step and so Melissa starts hitting him hard with standing stiff kicks to the side of his ribs. SILK eventually moves down to block them and that’s when Melissa comes hard with another forearm to his jaw that sends SILK backed up into the corner now. Reeves wants to show him what happens when your opponent is in the corner and you don’t hold back as she runs in with a hard lariat. SILK slumps down to the mat, with his back up against the bottom turnbuckle so Melissa uses the top rope to lift herself off her feet and then swings down driving both her feet into SILK’s chest hard. SILK rolls out of the corner on the mat, grabbing at his chest while Melissa moves in, showing just how seriously she’s taking this and how serious SILK should have from the get go. She drops a hard knee drop across SILK’s chest, followed by getting up and dropping three quick and consecutive leg drops across his neck, working his upper body. Melissa walks over to the ropes as SILK starts trying to get up, she walks through them and out onto the apron. SILK is up and so she springboards off the top rope towards him attempting a crossbody but he catches her and uses her momentum against her, bodyslamming her hard down to the mat. SILK rolls off of her, clutching at his chest from the previous work Melissa had put in on it but then he gets back up and looks down at her, realizing now that she fully means business and so must he. SILK brings her to her feet, irish whips Melissa into the ropes and as she bounces off them coming back towards him, SILK grabs Melissa and drops her back to the mat with a devastating spinning sideslam. SILK follows up with a cover but only got a two count. SILK is up, bringing Melissa up with him once more and she starts trying to throw wild elbows towards his stomach out of desperation but SILK quickly moves in and military presses Melissa up over his head. He then proceeds to overhead press her twice and then drops her back down with a hard front powerslam from the military press position. SILK makes his way to the turnbuckle now, climbing it at a quickened pace while Melissa remains down, flat on her back. SILK looks towards the crowd, points down towards Melissa, gyrates his hips while rubbing his chest and then soars of with a beautiful diving splash but Reeves rolls out of the way causing SILK to land hard on his upper body, inflicting even more damage to it. Melissa takes a moment to recuperate before she’s back up while SILK is still feeling the effects from his high risk chance not rewarding him. Melissa moves in behind SILK as he’s up to one knee and amazingly is able to German Suplex him with her size disadvantage and even hold the bridge for the pin attempt which gets a two and a half. SILK kicks out and lands on his chest from the way he was bridged so Melissa wastes no time by sitting on the upper half of his back, wrapping his arms around her own legs and locking her hands under his chin to successfully apply a camel clutch! Melissa is taking advantage of the damage done to the upper half of the WTC Destiny Crown Champion as his face is filled with the expression of agony. The referee checks in only to receive a head shake indicating that SILK doesn’t give up. SILK tries to muster up whatever strength he has in his upper body combined with his lower body and manages to get his legs under him, struggling but managing to get to his feet with Melissa on his back still, hands wrapped under his chin. SILK just flies backwards, sandwiching Melissa between himself and the mat which also causes her to release her grip under his chin. SILK spins around though so her head is well, in his crotch area and his face is in hers. He waits for a moment, much to the delight and laughter from the crowd, then lifts himself up with Melissa as well, now in a tombstone piledriver position. SILK smiles out to the crowd as Melissa’s legs are wrapped around his neck and then drops her down hard on her head with a spinning tombstone piledriver! Melissa looks worse for wear as SILK makes another pin attempt, managing to get a near fall with what seemed to be a two and three quarters. SILK has a look of disbelief at first that Melissa kicked out but then it quickly turns to a smile as he seems to be impressed by her will to keep on fighting. SILK waits for Melissa to get up, positioned behind her and as she does, he kicks her in the gut, looking to hit her with his Break Jaws (Stunner) but as he wraps his arm under her chin, Melissa pushes him from the back towards the ropes. SILK bounces off of them chest first and his momentum sends him backwards towards Melissa who attempts to roll him up with a schoolboy that only gets a two and a half count from the referee. SILK is quickly to his feet and swings with a clothesline attempt that Melissa ducks under and counters with a swinging neckbreaker that drops SILK down to the mat hard. Melissa is up and looking to be sizing SILK up when the crowd noticeably stands to their feet, turning their attention to the ramp. Melissa pays it no mind but should have as Franky Harris has dash out to ringside. SILK is starting to slowly get to one knee as Franky slides into the ring and hits Reeves with a clothesline from behind. He then comes over and dropkicks downwards onto SILK’s chest who is still on one knee sending him backwards. The referee is calling for the bell but Franky pays it no mind as he jumps on Melissa with a few stomps and then mounts her throwing rights and lefts. SILK is back up though and he pulls Franky off of Melissa. Franky stands face to face with SILK now who is getting right up in Franky’s face for interfering in the match and jumping Melissa. Franky goes to throw a right but SILK blocks it and delivers a right jab, then a left jab, then another right, followed by another left as Melissa is now up to her feet. SILK grabs her by the hand, locking them together and the double clothesline Franky down to the mat. SILK grabs Franky by the head, lifts him up into a wheelbarrow position and signals Melissa to get involved so she doesn’t hesitate and hits Franky with a vicious Facial Deconstructor as SILK holds him in a vulnerable position. With Franky rolling out of the ring, Melissa and SILK raise each other’s arms towards the crowd in good sportsmanship, followed by a hug between the two. WINNER: // BY: Outside Interference, 17:37 |

Lockdown Championship Match
Steel Cage Match
Steel Cage Match
Selina Metzger (c) VS Rebecca Saint
The Lockdown Championship was on the line in a Steel Cage match, as per stipulation chosen by the challenger, Rebecca Saint. The two women entered the unforgiving structure with a certain concern on their faces, knowing oh too well the toll a match like this can take. The bell eventually rang, Selina charged in with a lariat ducked by the Rebecca, who was quick to turn around and hit the big woman with a dropkick. Selina recoiled, staying on her feet and catching the charging opponent in a sidewalk slam, attempting an early cover that only gave her a count of one. The Ubermensch picked the opponent up and dragged her toward the cage, trying to slam her face first against the steel wall. Rebecca raised her leg to block it, driving the elbow to the midsection and connecting with an enziguri right to the face. Selina was down, and Saint took the chance to climb the cage. Halfway through her ascension, Selina got back to her feet, grabbing her legs and bringing her down on her shoulders, slamming her on the mat with a powerbomb, hooking the leg for another pinfall attempt that resulted in a two count. Despite the size difference suggesting for a different approach, Rebecca didn’t shy away from a full-frontal assault, fighting the Lockdown champion with kicking combinations showing her proficiency as a striker, something that not always showed during her successful years as a tag team competitor. Two kicks to the legs followed by a reverse side kick and a rising knee to the bent opponent left the German stunned, giving Rebecca the opportunity to throw her against the cage wall. The impact left the Ubermensch leaning on the ropes, her face pressed against the cage. Saint took a couple of steps back and charged in, driving her knee into Selina’s back and squashing her against the steel structure. Not settling for this, Rebecca grabbed the champion by the back of her head and grinded her face, stopping only after her action cut Metzger’s forehead, Dropping her down, Rebecca made a cover, but it still wasn’t enough to beat the champion. The minutes passed and Selina regained control of the match, despite the blood loss. Wiping some away from her eyes, she picked up Rebecca after slamming her to the mat with a powerslam and whipped her in the corner. Arching her back in pain after crushing against the turnbuckle, the Uncanny Socialite couldn’t avoid the impact when Selina charged at full speed and squashed her with a splash. She then lifted her easily, without breaking a sweat and seated her on the top rope, hooking both her legs and tucking her head next to Rebecca’s lifting her upside down and, after a few steps toward the middle of the ring, she drops down to the mat with a muscle buster. Hooking the legs, she made the the cover, only to prove once again her opponent’s resilience when Saint kicked out in two. The Lockdown Champion picked her up and threw her against the cage but Rebecca jumped on the wall with cat-like reflexes and started to climb toward the win. Metzger this time had to climb as well to stop her, grabbing her by the back of her head and slamming her face against the steel. Somehow Saint hung on, fighting back with a punch to the ribs, and a second one. Selina almost lost her grasp her, avoiding the fall by a hair. The two women kept fighting a little longer, six feet from the ground, desperately hanging on while trying to take the other down. At least until Selina reached for Rebecca’s opposite shoulder and dragged her all the way down. The fans were shocked after the nasty fall. watching both women laying motionless. Slowly, Selina rolled on her side and extended her arm on Rebecca’s chest, the referee dropped in position to count the pinfall, stopping his hand inches away from the mat before touching it for the third time. The grueling match had taken a lot from both competitors, who certainly didn’t hold anything back. Battered and bruised, they met in the middle of the ring one more time to trade blows. Selina came out on top of this exchange, hitting the opponent with a couple of right punches to the cut over her eye, courtesy of a close encounter with the steel cage. More blood gushed out of the wound that just stopped bleeding, allowing the champion to easily pick up the stunned challenger and powerbomb her against the cage. The walls shook from the impact as Rebecca rebounded back falling flat on her face. Metzger picked her up and hit her with a couple of knees to the face, lifting her on her shoulders ready to finish things off with the Elbe Valley Driver. Saint slid away, landing behind the champion and, with her last strength, pushing her against the structure they were locked into. When Selina stumbled back, Rebecca hit her with the Saint Hearted (Discus Elbow Smash), collapsing on her knees right after. Exhausted, she started crawling toward the door, asking the referee to open it. The fans were cheering in anticipation as she was leaving the cage when Selina grabbed her foot, trying to pull her back in. Being this close to the win, with half body already out of the cage, Rebecca fought with all she had left, using her left foot to kick the opponent away. One of her kicks caught the Lockdown champion on the side of her head, causing her to loosen her grasp. As soon as she felt her hold losing strength, Rebecca quickly pulled her leg away, rolling backwards and landing awkwardly on the head on the floor outside. The impact left her dizzy, but with the Lockdown Championship in her hands. WINNER: Rebecca Saint (NEW CHAMPION) BY: Cage Escape, 19:38 |
Jared Idol: "Rebecca Saint is the new Lockdown Champion! What a match!"
Bea Torres: "It's been a hell of a fight, but in the end David beat Goliath!"
Jared Idol: "She choose the stipulation and she made the best out of it, putting an end to Selina's reign."
Bea Torres: "I love Selina, she's been a great champ... But I'm not gonna lie, I'm EXCITED to see what's next for Rebecca."
As we cut backstage, we’re met with a pair of far too expensive sunglasses upon the face of a man who was far too quick to purchase them. Devin Hearst adjusts the black tie under the collar of his pink and red floral print shirt, but his concealed eyes never leave the camera. Never stop staring into the multimedia void. While not completely gone, his arrogant grin has dropped down to just shy of a smirk, but the good vibrations never truly die.
Devin Hearst:
Tonight’s the night! Tonight is the night. The reason I was hired in the first place! Natural selection comes to Riot, and it’s wearing $800 shades! I like to think I break the mold in this business by choosing to not talk shit before I win a match, but Eliza, you’ve been dragging behind by every extent of the imagination since we started this thing. Intellectual, strategically, financially … and aesthetically. Yikes. I’ve wanted to be a world champion for 7 years. I’ve made it my job to ruin every top champ I’ve come across, and business has been good, but it seems like fate doesn’t want the kid to get his ultimate shine on too! I want to be excited about breaking that curse. Really getting it in and dropping two swimsuit models on their heads and making Riot matter, just like I said … but Lizzy, I think that takes second place. Titles are well and good, but tonight, I’m ending the idea of you. People are talking about you like you’re a legend. You’re more like a myth. I’ve heard a whole lot of people talk a great deal about you, but I haven’t seen shit.I’ve been looking too!
Snapping his fingers and holding out his hand, it’s only a matter of time before the large mit of Andrew Wilkow comes into frame, handing Hearst another refreshing coconut drink. Taking a sip, Hearst’s grin grows exponentially.
Devin Hearst:
They say you’re tough, but all you’ve done is sneak wins and complain! You’ve also complained, complained, and complained some more. I’m expecting a typhoon, but here I got another twitter girl with a couple tattoos who still thinks swearing makes them hard. You know nothing of what you’re walking into. You go online and make Dogs of War jokes, ignoring that when I ran them, we ran the fucking world. Ignoring the fact that I put them down myself when the train went off the rails. I have no shame in that. Thinking you could get shame from me at all was the biggest sign you didn’t do your homework. Me? I know you. I’ve watched the matches, new and old, and more importantly, I know what makes you get out of bed in the morning. I’ve had you beat for weeks. I could ignore you and do my thing, but that’s not how this works. So, we go to the trickle down. Tonight, I’m going to hurt you. Hurt you bad. I’m thinking knees, but who knows? More importantly, I’m taking away your pride. Your chance to win another championship. I’m going to make you sit at home knowing money isn’t coming in, and you and your freakishly large girlfriend can both watch me take what I deserve.
Tossing the still half-full drink onto the ground with a clang and a splatter, Hearst whips off his sunglasses to let his never-scared douchebaggery radiate unfiltered.
Devin Hearst:
I’m going to lead this brand where it needs to be, whether I gotta drag it kicking and screaming to do it or not. It’s not longer about y’all. It’s about me, and that’s the only way this can work. Oh, when I’m done tonight and you have to retire or whatever, don’t worry too much. I know a great beach.I hear the owner of the bar around there’s ‘bout to be a champion.

#1 Contendership for the Riot Championship
Devin Hearst VS Eliza Valentine
Hearst and Valentine have been on a collision course since Dark Web, when the former Millennium Champion made her return to the company as the last entrant in the battle royale, winning the match and the title opportunity that came with it, eliminating Devin last. Tonight they had the chance to settle things once and for all, with a shot at the Riot Championship on the line. Granted, both Liv Mercer and Kelsey Spencer kept a close eye on this match that started with Hearst asking the opponent if she wanted a coconut, reminiscence of the fallout of the match between Valentine and Hearst’s bodyguard Wilkow. The memory of the infamous coconut incident was still fresh on Eliza’s mind, and finally she had the chance to take action for it, and she did so with a stiff forearm to the face. The bell rang and the headline match was finally under way. Eliza exploited the advantage the surprise strike gave her and unloaded a flurry of rights, pushing him back in the corner where she connected a few chops across his chest. Hearst reversed the irish whip and sent Valentine in the corner, rushing at her with a running European Uppercut. He then began kicking her in the mid-section, stomping her to the ground when she fell to a seated position. The referee pushed him back and when he went to pick the opponent up, Eliza positioned her head under his chin and dropped back to her knees, mounting on top of the former Dog Of War and pounding with lefts and rights to the face. Safe to say, there was no love lost between these two and it translated in an extremely aggressive style from both contenders, more focused on a hard hitting, in-your-face style. Just like the punch that rocked the former Millennium Champion, giving Devin the chance to take Eliza down with a stiff lariat, followed by a wink at Wilkow outside, who applauded his boss action. Eliza quickly made it back to her feet for a brief time, before a second lariat knocked her back down. Hearst tried a third one, but this time the tattooed woman anticipated him with a low dropkick to the leg, taking Hearst to his knees. Valentine began kicking his chest, knocking the wind off his lungs and finishing the sequence with a kick to the side of the head. She made the cover, but the former Dog Of War kicked out with authority. EJV picked him up, still a bit dizzy and whipped him in the corner, charging at full speed for a double knee. Devin moved out of the way through the ropes, quickly climbing the turnbuckle and diving on her with a double foot stomp, scoring only a two count. The former CWC International Champion was in difficulty tonight against a very determined Valentine, who almost won the match after a russian leg sweep against the corner. She picked him up after the pinfall attempt and landed a couple of chops, sending him against the ropes, Hearst ducked her clothesline and caught her with a Yakuza Kick on the rebound. Eliza was down, but he wasn't done with her yet, clubbing her back with some heavy forearms when she was trying to get up. He then dragged her to her feet by the hair, lifting her for the throwing released suplex he calls Desperado. Too high the stakes for the former Champion to give up so easily, the shot at the Riot Championship was a big enough drive for her to kick out and try to turn the momentum of this match, relying once again on her kicks. Devin caught her leg and dropped her against the corner with an exploder suplex. Slowly she climbed back to her feet, just in time to counter the charging opponent with a kick to the face. When he stumbled back, looking stunned from the blow, Eliza exploded out of the corner with the FAUGH A BALLAGH! The striking spear trademark of the Foley clan, clearly a move taught to her by her girlfriend Nora Foley. She hooked the leg, pinning Hearst for another count of two. But the tides had now turned, and it wasn't too long before Eliza connected the Mysterious Girl (Crossroads), winning the match and the title opportunity. WINNER: Eliza Valentine BY: Pinfall (Mysterious Girl), 14:20 |
Alyx Valero: "Eliza just pinned Devin Heasrt! WOW!"
Zackary Dyson: "You heard her last week, she said that Riot needs a champion that can lead them in this war against Millennium that, at this point, seems unavoidable. This is her officially stepping up to take that role."
Alyx Valero: "If I was Kelsey or Liv, I'd start worrying already..."
The cameras go backstage to find the first and current MWE Tag Team Champions, Penelope Kaplan and Jet Blanchard looking serious as they discuss strategy for the match ahead of them tonight. Both are fully in their ring gear, Penny nibbling at her lower lip as they spoke. They ignore the cameras as Penny adjusts the collar of the jacket that Jet’s going to wear down to the ring. He shakes his head and chuckles as she continues on.
Penny Kaplan:
Well it’s true, you know? No such thing as a Champion’s advantage in a Triple Threat match of any kind, Jet. Like we’ve faced these teams before and we’ve kept what’s ours. We got to show everyone how good we really are. Nobody can say different, not even that nasty Tats.
Jet’s voice is low, barely a murmur.
Jet Blanchard:
I know Penny, you still mad about that ‘when the fuck did Jetpack get good’.
Penny Kaplan:
We were always good and Tats is a…
She mumbles something that sounds suspicious and she blushes; Jet just stares, and then shakes his head while he laughs.
Jet Blanchard:
Somebody’s been in Australia too long, Penny that’s just nasty. Look, facts are this sugar. We are damn good. We’ve proven it over and over. We’re in the books, Pen. We’re the first MWE Tag Team Champions, and hell - even if our run ends tonight they ain’t takin it from us. We’ve beaten both The BreeTee Committee and The Happy Few to keep what’s ours.
His hands move to the belt proudly around his waist, his thumbs hooking behind the plate so he can push it forward a bit, making the light gleam off of it.
Jet Blanchard:
We’re the first, Pen. Wasn’t never going to be the only ones holdin’ these, that’s just wrestling. But we’re the first.
Penny nods, her eyes a little sad but then she suddenly giggles.
Penny Kaplan:
Well it’s like Shawn says, you know that quote he does from Talladega Nights.
Jet blinks at her and then cracks up himself, his hand going to squeeze his tag partner and friend’s shoulder.
Jet Blanchard:
If you ain’t first, you’re last.
The pair laugh a bit before Penny sighs out, then gives a sweet smile to Jet.
Penny Kaplan:
I don’t think I’m ready to lose these just yet. But I know, I know. Who’s ever ready for that? We all want to win, we all want to be the champions. Because it’s proof that all the hard work and hours we put in to be the best we can, mean something. But facts are, in a triple threat, the odds aren’t with us. I just… I want you to know, that I’m glad we got to do this, together. That we proved something here, and well… if we do lose? We have all the tools we need to get right back up after them and get them again.
Jet Blanchard:
Ain’t a thing wrong with that, Pen. Now let’s go out there and see what’s what. I hear they have your favorite cake in catering tonight, and hell… it’s good for a celebration or a consolation, but let’s see about making the first happen.
He gently pats her hair before the pair of them leave, the camera focusing on the doorframe before cutting away.
MWE Tag Team Championship Match
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Triple Threat Tag Team Match
Jetpack (c) VS The BreeTee Committee VS The Happy Few
It was now time for the main event. All six competitors looked extremely focused on the task at hand. The stakes couldn’t get any higher after all, with the MWE Tag Team Championship on the line, a title held with a firm grasp by Jetpack since its inception. In this 123 days, Penny and Jet set the bar for the whole division, defeating every other team including their opponents tonight, although, in all fairness, the only time they faced The Happy Few, it ended up with a draw that left everyone unsatisfied. None of the team involved was willing to leave the ring to the others, and what better way to determine who had to start than an all out brawl? Bree took on OMI, hitting him with some right forearms to the jaw. Penny surprised Teegs with a dropkick that sent her outside of the ring while NEON and Jet battled it out in the corner. Penny went to help her partner, but she got thrown over the top rope by a big clothesline from Smith who then grabbed Jet and spun him around, sending him in the opposite corner and followed up with a clothesline. She then rushed all the way across the ring and connected with one to NEON, before going for a third one, once again on Jack. The tag team champ raised his leg and connected the sole of his boot to Bree’s face, avoiding the impact. At least momentarily, until NEON exploded out of the corner and, with a shotgun dropkick, sent Bree against Blanchard. Gallagher entered back in the ring and attacked the Happy Few member, who caught her with a belly to belly suplex, launching her against Bree and Jet in the corner. The Tiny Dragon was now the only one standing in the ring, while Penny and OMI were battling on the outside. Sneering at the fans booing her loudly, NEON pushed the two members of the BreeTee Committee out of the ring, grabbing Jet’s arm before he could roll out of the ring and dragged him back in, positioning him close to the corner. Jumping first on the middle rope and then, from there, to the top one, she jumped and flipped backwards, landing on Blanchard with the Umeda Skyline (Best Moonsault Ever). only getting a two count. NEON kept dominating the match for a couple more minutes thanks to the very aggressive, hard hitting style that almost became a trademark for the Happy Few. After a couple of kicks to the ribs and a spinning back elbow that left Jet groggy in the middle of the ring, the Tiny Dragon connected with numerous palm strikes, the last one of which, aimed to the chin, knocked down the male half of the tag team champions. Penny stepped into the ring and kicked NEON on the back, going back to the apron after breaking the pin and starting to rally the fans, getting them to chant for her partner in this moment of difficulty. The Montreal crowd obliged, chanting for Jet who seemed to feed on their energy, blocking a right hand from the japanese wrestler and hitting her with a forearm to the jaw that sent her a few steps back. NEON went back on the attack swinging her right once again, this time Blanchard saw it coming and ducked, hitting the ropes and taking NEON down with a running crossbody, rolling through and popping up to his feet to kick her in the head with an enziguri as soon as she got up. Wisely, he went for the tag instead than capitalizing on it, allowing PenPen to finally step in. The blonde girl ran right into the opposite corner, knocking OMI off the apron before NEON could reach her, quickly turning around and hitting the Tiny Dragon with a low dropkick to the face. NEON eventually managed to make the tag, reaching for Bree after landing on her feet after a monkey flip with a notable feat of agility. The powerhouse of the BreeTee Committee immediately imposed her size and power advantage, trampling Penny with a clothesline. Controlling the pace of the match, she took the opponent to the mat with a ripcord side headlock takeover, trying to keep the champion grounded. Penny found her way out of it, getting back to her feet and catching the rising opponent with a kick to the chest. She hit a second one, rebounding against the ropes and grabbing her by the back of her head, slamming her face first on the mat with a bulldog. She then rolled Bree on her back and made the cover, with Smith kicking out in two, The tag team champions started doing what they do best, isolating the opponent and wearing her down with their quick tags and combined maneuvers, lifting Bree for a double suplex, followed by a standing moonsault into a cover from Jet. Bree was able to turn things around when she blocked a springboard hurricanrana attempt and turned it into a powerbomb, buying herself some valuable time to crawl toward her corner. She was almost there, inches away from Teegs’ hand when OMI, who tagged herself in and immediately went to grab Smith’s leg. Despite Bree’s attempt to stretch out and reach her partner, she wasn’t able to make the tag, at least not until she broke free from OMI’s grasp with an enziguri kick. The fans popped on their feet when Gallagher jumped into the ring with a springboard forearm, taking both members of Jetpack down with a dropkick, The Typhoon charged at her, but Teagan anticipated her with a kick to the stomach, jumping on her and flipping her in a pinning predicament with a sunset flip powerbomb, obtaining a count of two. OMI was able to weather the storm, kicking out even from a fisherman suplex from the irish girl. Then finally, she started building some momentum with her swift kick, starting with a right calf kick, followed with a left kick to the leg and another one with the right. The next series aimed higher, connecting right above Teeg’s hips, doubling her over in pain and allowing the japanese to finish the sequence with a spinning heel kick. Wasting no time, OMI picked her up and, holding her by the arm, she went for an irish whip reversed by Gallagher. The member of the Happy Few ended up in Jetpack’s corner where Blanchard tagged himself in and… Oh Good Lord (springboard lariat) to the charging Teagan! A quick cover while Penny stepped into the ring making sure NEON and Bree couldn’t interrupt the count while the fans counted along with the referee. One! Two! Right before the three it was OMI who grabbed Jet’s leg and pulled him away from on top of Gallagher, saving the match. We were now in the crucial stages of this main event, with the Happy Few in control after Teagan created herself an opening with a neckbreaker close to their corner, allowing NEON to take the tag. The Tiny Dragon had Jet Blanchard in a front facelock and she lifted him in a suplex movement, dropping him on her knee. The Champion wasn’t going to stay down, kicking out from the cover and, once again, turning things in his favor with a springboard tornado ddt, trying to hook the leg to retain the titles, NEON raised her shoulders. The duo met once again in the middle of the ring, trading blows. The fresher NEON was coming out on top, until Jet found the strength to block one of her kicks and quickly took her down with a dragon screw. He quickly tried to reach Penny for the tag he so desperately needed, but the Tiny Dragon grabbed his foot and tripped him over. Moving like lightning, she grabbed his arm and locked him in the Kowareta (Arm Bar), right in the middle of the ring. With nowhere to go for Jet, the MWE Tag Team titles were on the verge to change hands, and they probably would have, if it wasn’t for Bree rushing in and breaking the submission. OMI entered the ring as well, knocking out Smith with her Super Cyclone, turning around and helping her sister dealing with Jet, lifting him for a double suplex. Penny couldn’t watch her partner being double teamed by the Happy Few any longer and she entered the ring, knocking down both women with a clothesline. The referee was trying in vain to restore order, failing to impose his authority. The numbers game allowed japanese duo to quickly dispose of Penny, tossing her outside the ring taking turns kicking her. Her interference though allowed Jet to reach the corner where Teagan was still standing, tagging himself out before NEON could stop him. The Tiny Dragon was quick to turn her attention on Gallagher, hitting her with a knee to the stomach and grabbing her by the arm, whipping the member of the BreeTee Committee in the opposite corner, right into another Super Cyclone by OMI. NEON, who was still legal made the cover. Penny, Bree and Jet all slid back in the ring to try break it up, but none of them could reach them before the three. The crowd stared in shock as the referee handed the titles to the Happy Few. WINNER: The Happy Few (NEW CHAMPIONS) BY: Pinfall (Super Cyclone), 18:30 |
