The Great White North Tour
Millennium XXXIII
Live from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC
Wednesday, April 10th, 2019
The camera opens inside the Rogers Arena in Vancouver. It's the first time a Millennium show airs from outside the US borders, but the result doesn't change. Almost nieteen thousand fans rushed to the Rogers Arena, filling every seat, ready to witness another great night of action. "When Legends Rise" by Godsmack blares out of the loudspeakers, followed by the usual pyrotechnics display exploding on the entrance stage. The camera pans over the fans, showing some handmade signs.
"#FreeKnox" "Lucie Is Fire" "Canada loves Millennium" "Canada hates Aries" "#Jetpack4Eva" "Justice for Megan" "Welcome back Spider" "Tobie Can Have My Babies"
At ringside, Bea Torres and Jared Idol are ready for the usual introduction.
Jared Idol:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Millennium!
Bea Torres:
WE ARE MAKING HISTORY TONIGHT! COMING TO YOU LIVE FROM VANCOUVER CANADA!
Jared Idol:
You don't have to yell to make sure they hear you back in the States...
Bea Torres:
I'm excited Jared! It's the Great White North Tour, for four weeks we'll be visiting this country, leading up to the next ppv.
Jared Idol:
Save the date, Sunday May 5th, from the Belle Centre in Montreal...
Bea Torres:
And the road to Montreal starts here tonight, with a huge main event. Jason Hawk versus the MWE Champion Christopher Kane!
Jared Idol:
And right before that, a match that can very well be the highlight of the night. Tiffany Tompkins takes on the returning Spider.
Bea Torres:
And what about Knox vs SERO? A match that surprised everyone when it was announced by Grace van Beek herself.
Jared Idol:
Aye, a controversial decision for sure, especially after the cyber attack perpretated by the Hackerman. Anyway, let's start the night with the first singles match of a young promising talent who earlier today won her first title, the Underground Bloodlust Championship from her sister Brytain Rollins.
Bea Torres:
WOAH REALLY? How did i miss it? Do we have a replay?
Jared Idol:
Don't worry, Brytain won it back a few minutes later.
Bea Torres:
Oh...

Singles Match
Lucie Callaway VS Teddy SteeleAfter an impressive debut in the Battle Royale at Dark Web, Lucie Callaway already drew some attention and earned herself some fans before even making her debut in singles competition. The pink haired girl seemed surprised by the warm reaction the Vancouver fans tributed her as she made her way to the ring. Teddy Steele was already waiting for her inside the ring, looking unimpressed and determined to spoil her debut. The bell rang, and Teddy charged at Lucie sending her against the corner with a shotgun dropkick. Caught off guard, the young girl was in no way able to cushion the impact, hitting the back of her head hard against the middle turnbuckle. Steele started stomping her to the ground, putting the sole of his boot against her neck and pushing for an illegal choke. Under the threat of a disqualification, he eventually stopped when the referee count reached four, picking the young rookie up and rocking her with a few quick jabs, before hitting the ropes to gain some speed and hit a splash for A Cuddling Moment. It was all Teddy in the first part of the match, still riding the wave of that initial surprise assault. He hit her with lefts and rights, whipping Lucie against the ropes and flipping her over his head with a back body drop. He dragged her up, and started dancing in front of her while landing some quick punches to the jaw before cocking back in and connecting with a knockout shot. Hooking the leg, he made the cover, but Lucie kicked out in two. Understanding the difficult moment, the fans began cheering louder for the eighteen years old, who started showing some fire, resisting a suplex attempt and hitting Teddy with a knee to the gut. Finally getting an opening, she chopped him all the way back to the ropes. From there, she sent him all the way across the ring, knocking him down with a dropkick. She started gaining more and more confidence, finally getting over the jitters.that conditioned her performance in the early minutes. Teddy was now in the corner, Lucie charged at him and drove both knees to his face, knocking him down. Climbing on the top rope, she took a moment to soak in the cheers of the fans before jumping and landing on Steele with a high angle Senton Bomb, a move made famous by her sister Brytain Rollins (and used in rare occasions by the Cloud Gate Champion Tiffany Tompkins as well) with the name of Thrillkiller. She thought this was it, and you can imagine the look of disappointment on her face when Teddy kicked out. Teddy exploited this little discourage to turn thing in his favor, getting another near fall after a superkick. Lucie answered with the Nine Crimes (Snapmare Driver), but neither that was enough to keep Steele down. The action was now frantic, back and forth they went trading blows in the middle of the ring. After poking the rookie in the eye, Teddy went for another series of right hands, missing the last strike. Lucie ducked it and quickly hit her Sawed Off Shotgun (RKO), hooking the leg and making the cover, sealing her first win in Millennium. WINNER: Lucie Callaway BY: Pinfall (SOS), 7:40 |
Bea Torres: "She did it! Lucie picked up her first win in Millennium!"
Jared Idol: "I'd say talent runs in the family..."
Bea Torres: "Oh yeah, that's for sure. I'm telling you, this young one is defintely someone you want to keep your eyes on, folks!"
Jared Idol: "I'd say talent runs in the family..."
Bea Torres: "Oh yeah, that's for sure. I'm telling you, this young one is defintely someone you want to keep your eyes on, folks!"
The scene cuts backstage as Chris and Olivia walk down a hallway with a security team surrounding them. Chris is barking orders to the security detail as he knows that he’s a marked man without Dusty Douglas around.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
I’m a marked man gentlemen! I’ve made a lot of enemies with this roster and the roster over at Riot so I hired you guys big money to keep my wife and me safe. So keep an eye out for anyone that looks like they want to stab me. If you see Devin Hearst, hit him in the head with a Pineapple.
Chris immediately stops and extends his hands out o stop his wife and one of the security guards. The camera zooms in close as Chris sniffs the air. Chris has a look of disgust as the air is filled with a stench that Chris can’t stand.
Chris Constantine Jr.:
I smell.....(sniff sniff) ....... I smell.....(sniff sniff) ........I smell Riot wrestlers. We need to get to my dresser room gentlemen and hunker down in their. Two guard at the door and everyone else inside. On the double gentlemen! Shoot to kill!
The group quickly move down the hall as they head to Chris’s locker room. The camera slowly pans over to a cracked door that has a set of eyeballs peaking through. The eyes blink a few times until the door eventually closes.
We come backstage to a strange sight. In the middle of the hallway is a tea party for a child, complete with small tabl and four chairs, all pink of course. On one chair is a stuffed teddy bear, blindfolded, another is a stuffed bunny with its ears bound, and the third is a man with a ballgag in his mouth. He is bound and clearly not there of his own free will, while on the third seat was Saki, pouring tea.
SAKI:
What separates us all is diversity
But what brings us all together is adversity
A similarity shared by everyone
Even if the first instinct is to run.
She pours tea from a fake teapot and giggles, patting the bear on its head and fixing the blindfold. The see, hear and speak no evil similarities are not hard to spot.
SAKI:
Cheesecake dinner
Brutality winner
Gonna give you more
Than even YOu bargained for
But that’s not a bad thing, Cheesecake
Cuz bitch I wanna see just what you can take.
Saki leaned into the gagged man who was squirming and sweating in fear. Her tongue ran along his cheek like a monster in a horror movie as she giggled.
SAKI:
Come and play
Don’t run away
It’s all I need
To make us bleed
Security finally arrives and grabs the man as Saki just waves goodbye. Security eye her but choose it’s not a battle worth fighting and just help the man to safety. Saki grins and looks to the camera before it suddenly cuts.
Singles Match
Misteireach VS Robbie "MF" BourbonRobbie and Misteireach tie up, and Robbie quickly uses his size advantage to lock Misteireach in a hammerlock. Misteireach reverses the hammerlock into an arm wrench. Misteireach goes for another turn on the arm of Robbie, and pulls on Robbie’s arm. Robbie puts his foot down, looks at Misteireach, and raises a finger, wagging it to signal negative, and Robbie hooks around for a massive clothesline. Misteireach ducks, still holding the arm, and Robbie comes back for a back elbow, which also gets ducked! Still holding the arm, Misteireach springboards off the middle rope, coming back with a rolling arm drag to Bourbon. Misteireach stands facing Robbie, who gets to a knee quickly. Misteireach charges the ropes, bounds back, but Robbie sinks in a goozle and nails the Earth’s Mightiest Chokeslam. Instead of going for a cover, Robbie lifts Misteireach to his feet and places Misteireach’s head between his thighs, signalling for the Robbiebomb! Robbie lifts Misteireach, who pivots on Robbie’s shoulders, and rolls back down with a victory roll, and picking up a quick and surprise 3 count! WINNER: Misteireach BY: Pinfall (Victory Roll), 2:24 |
Bea Torres:
I can’t believe it! A huge and surprise upset by the rookie!
Jared Idol:
Robbie can’t believe it either!
Robbie is sitting on the mat looking at the referee, holding up three fingers and questioning exactly what just happened. Misteireach is on the top rope, holding both his hands up as the crowd is delighted and surprised by what just happened and cheering like crazy. Robbie stands up, scratches his chin, and looks at Misteireach for a moment. Misteireach hops back down off the top rope and looks at Robbie, both men with their hands on their hips. Robbie sticks his hand out to shake, and Misteireach grasps it, both men showing respect for one another. Misteireach turns to leave, but Robbie taps his shoulder, holding up his right pointer finger as if to tell him to wait a moment. Robbie walks to the ropes and calls for a microphone.
Jared Idol:
Robbie might respect what the man just did in the ring, but Misteireach might just get an earful from the Sultan of Smacktalk tonight.
ROBBIE “MF” BOURBON:
Woah, woah, woah. Congrats on the win, you got me, fair and square, right here in the squared circle for everybody to see. I definitely didn’t afford you the respect you deserved, and I showed my ass for it. That said, kid, I got more in the tank, I feel you got more in the tank, how about next week, you and me, I challenge you to a rematch, and lets show these people what wrestling is all about!
Misteireach nods his head, and both he and Robbie shake hands again. Robbie raises Misteireach’s hand in victory.

Rie Shimizu sits on her knees, surrounded by candles, head bowed. Homare Kato’s footsteps can be heard around the back of the room, the advisor unseen as Rie spoke a single word.
Homare Kato:
“Failed.”
She shakes her head sadly, continuing to speak.
Homare Kato:
“That warlike arena, I was not prepared for it. That much is obvious. No matter how much belief I had in myself, I was not prepared correctly. And for that I sank both mine and Rebecca’s chances. I am sorry, to her and to anyone that believed in me that night.”
She bows her head down until her forehead touches the floor, holding that for a few moments before sitting back up. She begins to speak again.
Homare Kato:
“Tonight is an opportunity to return to true wrestling, not some weapon-filled battlefield, a chance to remove some of the stain I placed on myself for my failure. Tonight, it is Christopher LaGarde. He is making a name for himself so far in Millennium. His words of revolution, of leading others to topple the elite, are less impressive.”
She shakes her head, letting out a sigh before going on.
Homare Kato:
“How many people have said they were leaders? Tried to attract followers to themselves, just to sacrifice those people in some blaze? Wrestling has suffered because of many of them, and LaGarde speaks in a similar way. His is a worrying message. But perhaps that is where my opportunity lies.”
She stands up, briefly brushing her knees before looking to the camera and going on.
Homare Kato:
“Being in the ring with him will let me know whether the man himself is someone to worry about or if his message is true in his heart. This knowledge will be useful. And either way, he has been impressive in the ring, so defeating him will help the stain. Because I didn’t just fail Rebecca, or the living that believed in me…”
She holds her arms out.
Homare Kato:
“But them too. The departed. Those that are gone, that I try to bring honor and awareness to by holding them in my heart while I fight. I failed them too, after losing focus on them for so long to focus on Constantine. I have to start making up for that, and tonight is where it will begin. Regardless of LaGarde’s true intentions, I must defeat him. I have to return to the right path.”
And with that she turns and walks away, disappearing out of frame. Kato does not step forward to do his traditional final words, only his footsteps are heard as he walks away. A door opens, and then closes, and the gust from that snuffs the candles, leaving the feed in darkness.
Singles Match
Rie Shimizu VS Christopher LaGardeBack to singles competition after teaming up with Rebecca Saint in that grueling TLC match at Dark Web, Rie Shimizu was set to face the leader of the Swayed Parade tonight in Canada. Christopher LaGarde didn’t hide his desire of revenge in Saki, who caused his elimination in the battle royale with a chair shot to the head, but he looked extremely focused on the task at hand when the bell rang, well aware of how dangerous Rie can be. The japanese wrestler started the match with her characteristic striking combinations, something LaGarde had scouted and was able to block for the most part while recoiling back to the ropes. After the rope break, the referee brought the fight back in the middle of the ring. where the pair locked up. Christopher was overpowering the opponent, pushing her in the corner. Once again the ref asked for the clean break, granted by the former NGW Tag Team Champion who quickly changed his mind and went for a chop. Rie was expecting this move and ducked it, finding herself now in a favorable position with the opponent stuck in the corner. A couple of forearms and then she threw him all across the ring to the opposite corner, running right behind him and connecting with a dropkick. After the impact, Christopher rolled out of the ring, taking a break. With no rush at all, using the ten count to the fullest, he climbed back on the apron and cautiously stepped in between the ropes. Rie was standing in the centre of the ring, refusing to take advantage in any way. Only when LaGarde was in and ready to fight, she charged at him. Christopher bent forward and tossed her over the top rope, Rie landed on the apron and went for a punch blocked by the opponent who connected one of his own, leaving her stunned in a dangerous spot. Charging at the ropes, he knocked her off the apron with a big boot, following outside where he suplexed her on the floor. He sent Rie against the barricade, charging at her for a clothesline and eating a boot to the face instead. Capitalizing on the opportunity, she went for a DDT, countered by the Martyr For The People in a spinning side slam. With the referee count reaching eight, Christopher rolled Rie back into the ring and went for the cover, only getting a two count out of it. Homare Kato was back in Rie’s corner, and his advice helped the young girl going through this difficult moment, weathering the storm and fighting back when LaGarde seemed to be ready to close the deal with his Social Deconstruction. She slipped away from the fireman’s carry position, pushing him against the ropes and hitting him with a jumping knee to the back of the head on the rebound. Stumbling, Christopher turned around right into the Flash Nap (jumping spinning knee strike), knocking him down and getting her first near fall. LaGarde had his best chance to take back control of the match when he hit The Righteous Choice (Discus Clothesline) out of nowhere and Rie saved herself with a foot on the ropes. He then shoved Rie in the corner and lifted her onto the top turnbuckle, probably going for a superplex. Instead, he ended up caught in a the guillotine choke called The Deepest Slumber. Hanging onto him, her arms tightly squeezing his neck and the legs wrapped around him in a body scissors, Rie was slowly breaking down Christopher’s resistance. He fell on his knee, slowly fading out despite his best attempt to fight it. The referee was close to the action, perfectly positioned to call the match as soon as LaGarda would eventually fade out. The fans’ jeers and Kato screaming should have given it out, but by the time he turned around, Saki was already inside the ring, smacking the chair across Rie’s back until she broke the hold, saving the last shot for Christopher’s face. WINNER: Rie Shimizu BY: DQ (outside interference), 7:20 |
Jared Idol: "And once again Saki costed LaGarde a match... Color me surprised"
Bea Torres: "I don't know what's her obsession with the leader of the Swayed Parade but I can tell you... He's pissed off!"
Jared Idol: "And I'm sure Rie isn't happy with the outcome either..."

The cameras find the MWE Tag Team Champions out on the concourse area near concessions where they are signing things and moving merch at a respectable clip, Penny and Jet smiling and taking selfies with the fans in line as they move up. Both of course are in full gear as they have a match later tonight, and Penny smiles as she sees the camera come up to the table.
Penny Kaplan:
I had this whole big speech planned but then we came out here to do this and mingle with the Millennium Wrestling fans, and welp that’s right out the window.
There are a few laughs from the fans that are closest to the table, and Jet shakes his head, rubbing his hands over his neatly clipped hair.
Jet Blanchard:
It’s true y’all, she did. She practiced an’ everything.
Penny sighs dramatically, putting her wrist to her forehead and then she giggles and takes a few more selfies with the fans.
Penny Kaplan:
Look the thing is? We really don’t have anything bad to say about our opponents tonight, Olivia Wythe and Levi, who is a she and yay me I had the right ‘at’ on Twitter… while Levi’s pretty quiet it seems, Olivia was nice and it’s nice to be nice. You know it, I know it, and there’s a huge lack of that in wrestling but I don’t mind being an example about that. Like manners are a thing people! All these nice fans, all of them have said please and thank you and I mean, I kind of want to tear up a little because it’s all this love, and...
Jet Blanchard:
Penny.
Penny Kaplan:
… it just touches my heart so, so, so much...
Jet Blanchard:
Penny.
Penny Kaplan:
I mean I know people like to say fans are fickle but ours aren’t! Our fans are the best so of course we want to do our best and...
Jet Blanchard:
PENNY.
She blinks, cutting off the stream of consciousness and looks at her partner.
Penny Kaplan:
What?
Jet facepalms and then laughs, putting his arm around his partner’s shoulder.
Jet Blanchard:
You’re just the sweetest lil’ thing ain’t you. Look, we expect a great match here tonight, Olivia and Levi, they’re gonna want to prove somethin’ here tonight and they’re gonna do whatever it takes to win. We get that. But we know, they’re more like us and all, cause they won’t cheat to win a match, even one as important as this’n. They beat us tonight? Then management’s gonna look at them real hard, seein’ about a shot at our MWE Tag Team Titles so, we know this is gonna be a fight.
Penny Kaplan:
YEAH!
She high fives her partner and then turns back to the fans, determined to get as many as possible taken care of before they have to leave for the back. Jet looks at the camera and winks.
Jet Blanchard:
Here come the champions.
The camera fades out as he turns back to the crowd himself.
The scene opens up backstage where Chloe Collins is standing with Hammerstein, who is wearing a cocky smile.
Chloe Collins:
Hammerstein, at Dark Web you won your cage match against Bethany Driver by the slimmest of margins. In fact, officials had to consult instant replay several times to come to a definitive decision. What…
Hammerstein gently puts his hand on her wrist and guides the microphone up to his mouth. He speaks calmly, with a smug edge to his words.
Hammerstein:
Do ya know what you'll find when you look up the official results of that match at Dark Web? You'll find Hammerstein defeated Bethany Driver. Not by the slimmest of margins. Not just barely. Not by a hair. Not by a teeny bit.
Hammerstein defeated Bethany Driver. Period.
So now that I've demonstrated my superiority over Bethany... AGAIN… I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things.
Ya know, the championship picture here in Millennium is hot, but ya add me to the mix and…
Hammerstein sighs loudly and rolls his eyes as Bethany Driver walks up to Chloe.
Hammerstein:
...oh great.
The American Monster lowers his head for a moment, then looks at Driver, a deadpan expression on his face.
Hammerstein:
Hi, Bethany.
Bethany Driver:
What’s the matter, Jacob, don’t want to run your mouth all of a sudden now that it’s not just you here to hear it?
With a bit of butterfly tape still holding the cut on her forehead from the cage match closed, Bethany stands just a few feet in front of Hammerstein, folding her arms in front of her. She still looks confident and not at all intimidated by the American Monster, despite having lost two big matches to him now. If that has gotten under her skin, it’s not showing here and now.
Bethany Driver:
Remember what I told you, Jacob, way back when? That you might knock me down, again and again, but you weren’t going to keep me from getting back up. Look where we are now.
Hammerstein chuckles a bit.
Hammerstein:
Where we are now is that I'm on the road to bigger and better things, and you're in my rearview, and you're gettin smaller and smaller. I've beat you twice. I'm done with ya. Ya need to just accept the fact that in the pecking order I'm way up here….
Hammerstein holds his hand as high above his head as he can.
Hammerstein:
...and you're way down here.
Hammerstein puts his hand, palm down, on the floor. Suddenly Bethany reaches out and hooks his arm, grabbing the other before he can react and drilling him into the floor with the B-A-DDT!!! She’s back on her feet in the blink of an eye and puts her hand over her mouth.
Bethany Driver:
Ooooh… I had a muscle spasm there. I’m so sorry. I might need a potassium supplement or something. Did that hurt? Are you okay, Jacob?
There’s silence in the hall as Bethany stares down at him and waits for a response… which never comes. Bethany the looks up at Chloe and holds her arms out innocently.
Bethany Driver:
The “American Monster” down after one shot. Who would have thought? I mean, I kept getting back up in our match…
There’s a bit of a smirk on her face as she steps over the unconscious Hammerstein and continues on her way.
Millennium officials and trainers come to check on Hammerstein, who is beginning to come around. They help him to his feet, but he stumbles backwards, nearly knocking Chloe over. Hammerstein gets back to his feet slowly. He shoves the trainers away and staggers out of frame as the feed switches back to Bea and Jared.

Tag Team Match
Jetpack VS Olivia Wythe & Levi
Returning to tag team competition after the failed attempt at the Empire Extreme Championship, Olivia and Levi were discussing some last minute strategy in the ring when Stand Up (For The Champions) blared out of the loudspeakers. A standing ovation welcomed the current MWE Tag Team Champions as they walked down the ramp, shaking hands and handing out smiles to the cheering fans. Penny and Jet entered the ring and raised their titles high in the air, posing from some pictures before handing the titles to the referee. Before the match started, they walked in front of Olivia and Levi and extended their hands, showing them the respect they definitely earned and wishing them good luck. Jet and Levi started things off for the respective teams, setting a quick pace right off the bat when Levi sneaked behind Jet’s back and tried to surprise him with a roll up. Blanchard was able to shift his weight anf put the opponent with her shoulders on the mat, but Levi wasn’t caught off guard by his move and kicked out in two. The two competitors were back on their feet, the Baby K went for a right hook, ducked by the tag team champion who hooked her arms and pinned her with a backslide. The young girl from Texas kicked out in two and immediately jumped at Jet wrapping her legs around his head for a headscissors takedown. With a cartwheel that got him some applause from the fans, he landed on his feet, inviting Levi to come at him. When she did, he picked her up for, possibly, a side slam, turned into a tilt-a-whirl ddt by the nineteen years old. The back and forth action kept the Vancouver fans on the edge of their seats.Levi got very close to an upset win with a top rope elbow drop after a superkick, Jet answered with a spinning wheel kick that would have probably given him the three count if it wasn’t for Wythe breaking the pin. Exhausted, the two competitors were trading blows in the middle of the ring when Blanchard grabbed Levi’s hand and sent her against the ropes. When she ducked the clothesline, he hit the ropes on the opposite side to gain speed and went for a crossbody. Levi had the exact same idea, and the impact chest against chest left both competitors breathless on the floor. Almost at the same time, they started crawling toward the respective corners, making the tag and allowing their partners to enter the ring. Olivia charged at Penny, who dropped her on the mat with an arm drag. Wythe gave it another try but the result stayed the same, with her lying flat on her back. A third attempt, a third arm drag by Kaplan, only this time she locked the younger opponent in a cross armbreaker. Quickly, Olivia reached the ropes with her foot, breaking the submission. Counting on a strength advantage, Wythe was able to shift the momentum of the match in her favor, catching the opponent in mid air and dropping her on her knees, turning the crossbody attempt into a gutbuster, making the cover. Close, but no cigars said the referee. Picking the opponent up, Olivia sent her in the corner, following with a clothesline. She then lifted her on the ropes and dropped down with a corner rope hung flatliner, still not enough to score the win against the champion. Olivia rallied up the fans while climbing to the top rope, waiting for Penny to stand up ready to hit her Wythebreaker. Finally the champion was in position and Oliva jumped at her to hit the diving codebreaker, finding herself on the receiving end of a superkick instead. Penny reached her corner for the tag, and Jet rushed into the ring preventing Olivia from making the tag with a low dropkick to the side of the head, when she was inches away from Levi. The moment was now favorable to the tag team champions, who did what they do best. Cut the ring in half and isolate the opponent.. After obtaining a near fall with a leaping clothesline, Blanchard wasted no time and picked up the opponent, pushing her in his corner. Penny tagged herself in and they took turns chopping Olivia, before Penny dropped her down with a snap suplex, making the cover. Wythe kicked out once again, and Penny went for another tag. This time they performed their Shine On/Doublemint combination (Double front kick to the gut into a double ddt). He hooked the leg, but his pinfall attempt was interrupted by Levi who dove in for a last minute save. The end was only delayed, and it came after another tag when Jetpack hit the Lift Kit (Springboard Lariat from Jet and spinning elbow drop from Penny), with Blanchard knocking Levi down with a lariat before she could make another save. WINNER: Jetpack BY: Pinfall (Lift Kit), 11:43 |
Jared Idol: "A valiant performance from Olivia and Levi, but there's a reason why Jetpack are still the MWE Tag Team Champions"
Bea Torres: "Penny and Jet are definitely one of the best tag teams in the world today. There's no shame in losing to them!"
Jared Idol: "Definitely not. These two young girls have a bright future ahead, that's as clear as day."

Fans cheer as “Anklebiters” by Paramore starts playing through the sound system. Sure enough, the mischievous pink-haired 20-year-old Cheesecake shoots out from behind the curtain. She stands on the stage for a moment, basking in the glory of the adulation they’re bestowing upon her, before she makes a half turn and looks to the entrance way behind her. Moments later, the hulking man known to the wrestling world as Tyron Bickerton - the very man The Misery has been seeking - slowly strides out to stand by her side. Cheesecake appears to be loving the situation, but Bickerton remains stoic, even amidst the thunderstorm of cheers.
The peppy girl happily skips down the ramp, with her self-described bestie in tow. Throughout the entire trip to the ring, and standing between the ropes, the retired professional wrestler who was once described as the Juggernaut doesn’t show an ounce of emotion. He simply stands there menacingly as Cheesecake grabs a microphone for herself. She gives it a few delicate taps before addressing the crowd with high energy.
Cheesecake:
WHAT UP, CAKESTERS?!?!
The live crowd erupt with support, which has Cheesecake beaming.
Cheesecake:
Thank ya all for that welcome, you guys rock. And I get why ya all are so loud… Ya excited! An’ I’m excited, too. Coz the terror that’s the undefeated streak of that morphsuit-wearin’ freak The Misery is OVER!!
This also goes over well with the live crowd. So many Millennium Wrestling fans have been eagerly waiting for the day that someone shuts him up, and at Dark Web, that’s exactly what happened. In fact, since his defeat, nobody has seen or heard from The Misery… not even his own girlfriend, The Manic.
Cheesecake:
I gotta tell ya, while I was away from wrestlin’, I missed this kinda reaction. This energy that y’all bring to every show… it’s totally the best high I ever felt. I never thought it coulda been even sweeter, but then Dark Web happened, an’ I got to stuff a sock in The Misery’s mouth! I got to knock him out, end his undefeated streak an’ shut him up! But ya know, as awesome as I am - an’ it is quite awesome - I couldn’t have done it without y’all. An’ I couldn’t have done it without…
She trails off, looking over her shoulder at Bickerton, who stands with his arms folded across his chest and stares intensely into the hard camera.
Cheesecake:
Ya all noticed this big chunky boi standin’ here beside me. A lotta ya might know him as the dude The Misery’s been lookin’ for since he came to Millennium… Yup, this is Tyron Bickerton! But, this is a new era… a new time in our lives, our careers. An’ with a new era comes a new name! So, allow me to be the first to introduce you to my new bestie - my BODYGUARD - ladies and gents, say hello to BIG BARV!
Fans cheer at the reveal of the new stage name, eventually morphing into a chant of “BIG BARV! *Clap clap*”.
Cheesecake:
Anythin’ ya wanna add, Barv?
She holds the microphone in front of his mouth. But, much like he has since he first stood out here, the newly-christened Big Barv doesn’t move a muscle. He just stands there, staring. Soon after, Cheesecake shrugs and pulls the mic back.
Cheesecake:
He ain’t very talkative no more, I dunno what to tell ya.
She moves on, beginning to pace in the center of the ring.
Cheesecake:
So, let’s talk ‘bout the hippo in the den right here… an’ that’s where in the frick is The Misery now? Accordin’ to his girly friend’s Twitter, he ain’t been seen since Dark Web. I’m not sayin’ her Twitter’s the most reliable source, an’ she could be tryna play some mind games here, but let’s just play along an’ say he’s been missin’. He’s gotta be off plottin’ some kinda revenge. I mean, we know he ain’t still travelin’ the world, yeah? The dude he’s lookin’ for’s standin’ right here! Only thing I can think of is he didn’t expect to lose to this lil’ 4’11 girl an’ he’s embarrassed. So, he ran off to wherever it is he came from to come up with some convoluted plan to get back at the pair of us. Well, I know ya watchin’ out there, Misery Business… So I’mma tell this to ya straight up. Take all the time ya need. Then, when ya finally dry ya tears an’ dust yaself off, come on back… coz we’ll be right here waitin’ for ya.
Cheers and chants of Cheesecake begin as she gives a sly smirk to the camera.
Cheesecake:
But as for tonight--
Cheesecake is interrupted by the sound of an absolute jeer-fest, so she quickly turns her attention to the ramp, where none other than The Manic is standing with a microphone in hand. She points at a woman in the front row and motions a gag gesture. The camera pans to this unknown woman, who is wearing a crop-top with her hair down. The camera pans back to The Manic, who continues to taunt this random woman, but soon cuts it out and darts her eyes towards Cheesecake and the newly nicknamed “Big Barv”.
The Manic:
But as for tonight, The Manic is here to set the record straight. Cheesecake, you did not defeat The Misery. Sure, it’ll go down in the record books that you technically beat him, but let’s take a look at just how you managed to do the impossible, shall we?
The Manic gestures to the titantron, and a quick video package plays featuring the events of Cheesecake’s match against The Misery at Dark Web. It shows the amount of punishment The Misery handed Cheesecake throughout the match, without taking note of The Manic’s attempts at involvement, and concludes with the masked manager taking off his mask and revealing his identity to be Tyron Bickerton, allowing Cheesecake to capitalize and pick up the victory.
The Manic:
You see, that wasn’t the triumphant victory you’re trying to make it out to be Cheesecake, so do yourself, and everyone here a favor and just tell the goddamn truth. Without your new piece of man meat, you wouldn’t have stood even the slightest chance against the phenomenon that is The Misery. You would have run off, tucked your tail in between your legs, quit the business again, and then gone off to cry in a black dress iat your dead daddy’s grave. Admit it, will you?
The crowd expresses their disgust with The Manic’s statement about Cheesecake’s late father. The smirk on the girl’s face has faded as she shakes her head slightly.
Cheesecake:
Ya might wanna watch ya mouth there, girly. Or I might have ta superkick ya teeth down the back of ya throat… whatever’s left of the one’s I missed at Dark Web. Ya dig?
The Manic:
Oh my god, who taught you how to speak?! Did your parents have MTV’s Cribs playing in the background when they were trying to raise you as an infant? You oughta record yourself during an everyday conversation and listen back, because sweetie, you sound like a total thot. But hey, at least The Manic now knows what a flamingo sounds like… unfortunately. As for that little superkick at Dark Web, don’t you worry, The Misery will get you back tenfold for that.
It seems like Cheesecake’s had enough. Even Big Barv turns to face the entrance ramp, too.
Cheesecake:
Then where’s he at, huh?! Where’s he at? Coz all I’ve seen outta you is nothin’ but talk. Maybe if ya spent a lil less time doin’ that hideous make-up in the mirror, ya woulda got the memo that this is pro wrestlin’! So since ya boy ain’t here, why don’tcha come on down here so we can sort this shizz?
The Manic looks around biting her lip.
The Manic:
Y-you w-want Th-the M-Manic? T-to come in th-there? O-okay… but Th-the M-Manic’s w-warning y-you… sh-she has a b-black belt i-in-
Before The Manic can finish her sentence and announce her fighting speciality, The Misery slides into the ring and blindsides Cheesecake with a clubbing forearm to the back of the head. Cheesecake’s forced to take a knee. Everyone in the crowd, and the commentators are confused as it seems like The Misery appeared out of nowhere. Even The Manic looks shocked, but her face quickly grows a wide-spread grin as she realises her knight in black fabric has come to rescue her. The Misery then turns his attention to Big Barv, and the two begin trading a series of heavy-hitting blows.
The Manic, realising this may just be her time to shine, runs down to the ring and enters under the bottom rope, quickly springing to her feet and attempting a kick to the side of Cheesecake’s head. Cheesecake’s reflexes are fast however, and manages to dodge the attack before rising up. She takes a minor step back, then launches a rocket-fueled Superkick straight into a gasping Manic’s already disfigured face, sending her flat against the mat. The Misery notices, and this distracts him for a moment, giving Big Barv the split moment he needs to send a stern right into The Misery’s jaw, knocking him back a few steps. Cheesecake runs over and leaps onto The Misery’s back with a sleeper hold. The Misery grabs at her arms, but it’s locked in tight. The Misery has no choice but to run backwards and straight into the turnbuckle in order to get the pink-haired warrior off of him.
Now with Cheesecake recuperating in the corner, he sets his sight back on Big Barv and the two men start back where they left off. A group of security guards pour out from behind the curtain and make way down to the ring. They all get in and it takes three each to separate the men from each other, and even then, both The Misery and Big Barv are still trying to push past and tear each other apart. All of a sudden, Cheesecake re-enters the fray and manages a punch to The Misery’s face. One of the security guards breaks away from The Misery to hold Cheesecake back, which proves to be a big mistake, as The Misery manages to swerve through the two remaining security guards and pounce upon Big Barv and the other security holding him back. He punches away like his life depends on it, and all members of the security guard team fly over to try and pry him away.
This gives Cheesecake an opening, and she exits the ring before fishing underneath it, pulling out a steel chair. She climbs back in and rushes over, knocking The Misery across the back of his skull with the chair. The Misery flops over and writhes around in pain on the mat. Cheesecake tries to hit him again, but two of the security guards intervene and one takes the chair off of her while the other subdues her. Big Barv gets visibly angry, and begins swatting away at the security guards, trying to keep them at bay.
The Misery slides out under the bottom rope to the floor and takes a brief moment to collect his bearings, then shuffles over and reaches for The Manic’s arm, pulling her out of the ring and away from the madness. She comes to and The Misery puts an arm around her to help her keep balance, and they make their way up the ramp. At the end, The Misery looks over his shoulder, as Cheesecake and Big Barv are both staring him out while being kept back by security. The Misery and The Manic exit

Saki VS CheesecakeAfter the altercation with The Manic, Cheesecake was waiting for her opponent. Saki music hit, but the Singapore Mauler never came out. The titantron came to light, showing her lying somewhere backstage, surrounded by some paramedics and doctor Sandy Walters. WINNER: // BY: No Contest, 0:00 |
Jared Idol: "And here I was worried about Cheesecake conditions after this brawl..."
Bea Torres: "Looks like Saki is doing much worse, huh?"
Jared Idol: "Aye. I wonder who did it..."
Bea Torres: "Uhhh, really? I mean, I think it's pretty clear it was a retaliation by LaGarde"
Jared Idol: "He's on top of the suspects list, but we don't know for sure."
??:
Yo, Nine… Where you going?
The young girl known as Nina The Intern (although the list of her duties in the MWE org chart include a lot more than just running the company’s Twitter account) giggles, turning to the stage hand who called her. That nickname, Nine, started to grow on her recently. A couple of months ago, she would have replied saying something like “I’m a five at best” but the Chicago born grew a lot more confident recently, even more after the management confirmed her position despite the debacle Knox cyber attack.
Nina:
Gian needed this…
She says raising her arm and waving a green folder.
Nina:
He’s still in his office, right?
Stage Hand:
Yeah, but he’s not alone…
On those words, the door of his office at the end of the hallway swings open, and someone the MWE fans and Nina know oh so well comes out of it.
??:
Well, if it ain't old Tech Nina herself. Told you I was gonna be around.
The camera pans over to the door, and standing there with a huge grin on her face is, KO, herself, Kymmy Olliver. The rookie shakes her head, straightens her leather jacket, and removes her sunglasses.
Kymmy Oliver:
What's the matter cat got your tongue? You not happy to see me?
Nina stares right back at her.
Nina:
You’re lucky I’m on the clock or you’d be staring at the ceiling already.
Kymmy Oliver:
What's that in your hand? Did you want my autograph or something. You don't gotta be shy, I treat my fans real nice.
Instinctively Nina pulled her hand back, taking the folder away from her reach.
Nina:
Not. Your. Damn. Business.
There’s no love lost between the two, that’s known. But if Kymmy was expecting the intern to be intimidated by her presence, she was in for a surprise.
Kymmy Oliver:
Hey now. That's no way to be talking to the newest Millennium signee now is it? It's cool though pretty soon everything is gonna be my business around here. Pretty soon I'm gonna be running all of this. Headlining big matches. Snatching championships. Knocking out any and everybody.
She stares Nina in the eyes as she says this last part, hoping for the intern to show some sort of reaction. When she doesn't kymmy nods her head and takes a couple of steps back.
Kymmy Oliver:
Don't you handle the interviews around here? Imma be honest. I don't really pay much attention to what goes on if it doesn't involve me. But I'm pretty sure you stand back here with a Mic sometimes. How about next week I GIVE you the honor of interviewing The Real Kym Shady. As a little show of good will or some shit like that. You could use the good look after your little Twitter Snafu last week.
Nina:
That’s a good look, not gonna lie. For someone who wants to conquer a promotion, admitting you don’t pay much attention to what is going on around here… Lemme tell you girl, you’re off to a good start.
The intern lets out a laugh shaking her head.
Nina:
I don’t do interviews, Chloe does them… And believe me, it’s better if you stick with her. You don’t wanna look like a fool on your first impression with the fans… Although it might already be too late for that.
Olliver rolls her eyes, clearly annoyed with Nina's insult.
Kymmy Oliver:
I don't give two shits about Chloe, Camari, or any of the fans. If their opinion mattered even in the slightest, I wouldn't be here right now. Funny. Over the internet you wanted to kick my ass. Now here I am standing in front of you. And you're being a good little worker girl.
Kymmy brushes past Nina, knocking the folder out of her hand, before turning to face her while putting her shades back on.
Kymmy Oliver:
It figures though. I knew you wouldn't keep that same energy. Look stay out of my way and we won't have any issues. Got it? Now, Be a good intern and get me a coffee. Black.
She looks down between them, staring at the folder lying on the ground. Kicking it over to Nina, Kymmy chuckles, snaps her fingers, and points to the ground.
Kymmy Oliver:
But pick that folder up before you go. You should have more respect for your job. Big Fax No Printer.
Nina crouches down, picking up the folder and a few papers that scattered on the floor when Kymmy knocked it off her hand.
Nina:
Around the corner, second door on the left.
She says to a perplexed Kymmy while standing up and walking toward the GM office.
Nina:
That’s where you can find the catering area.
A forced smile on her face, almost a grin.
Nina:
As much as I’d love to shut your mouth, I ain’t risking my job for someone like you. You ain’t worth it.
Without turning back, she entered Gian’s office, closing the door behind her, leaving Kymmy standing there fuming.

Chris Constantine Jr VS Tobie Nox ThorneWhen it was revealed at Dark Web that Tobie Nox Thorne was switching brands, moving from Riot to Millennium, more than an eyebrow was raised by wrestlers and fans alike, worried that her relationship with the General Manager Gianluigi Vaccaro would be source of favoritism and. Almost as he wanted to put to rest these rumors, her first match was against one of the biggest names in Millennium, Chris Constantine Junior. Even with Dusty on the bench for the injury sustained at Dark Web, CCJ could still count on the presence of his wife Olivia at ringside, something Tobie most definitely took into account. The referee brought the two contestants in the middle of the ring, where Chris had something to say to the young opponent. Tobie rolled her eyes at his words, kicking him in the stomach as soon as the bell rang and applying a headlock, taking the match to the mat where she could control the pace and wear the opponent down with her vast arsenal of holds. He tried to escape, but Tobie wasn’t letting him go, switching from a side headlock to a front version. Constantine managed to get to his feet and pushed her back into the corner, where the referee separated them. Chris took a couple of steps back, faking a clean break before kicking her in the stomach. He flipped her over with a snapmare, pressing his knee against her back and applying a chinlock. Thorne stood back up to her feet and dropped back to a seated position, freeing herself with a chin breaker. Tobie’s talent was never in question, but the French girl was being impressive tonight, determined to show that she’s here because she belongs, not because of her relationship. Her versatility was allowing her to stay on top, slowing down and picking up the pace at her disposal, throwing Constantine off his game. Tobie completed her heavily BJJ striking combination with a spinning heel kick, making the cover after a splendid springboard moonsault. After Constantine kicked out, Tobie sent him against for a run. Constantine held onto the ropes, baiting her in and lifting his boot to her face when she charged in, applying a front facelock and lifting her for a suplex, intentioned to drop her outside.the ring. Tobie saved herself landing on the apron, quickly swinging a punch and connecting on Chris’ jaw. He fought back with one of his own, a stiff hook that knocked her off the apron. Showing an athleticism he rarely displayed, Chris jumped over the top rope, waiting for a dazed Tobie to get up and reach the apron to superkick her right on the temple. Picking up her motionless body, he rolled her inside the ring and went for a cover, leaning his feet on the ropes to get more leverage. The referee immediately caught it, interrupting the count and scolding him. Constantine ignored the warning, walking past the referee and going to pick up the blonde girl, who surprised him with a swift cradle, almost getting away with the win. Some people might be surprised, but the contest was very evenly matched, Constantine tried a few of his tricks, but Tobie always kept her guard up, remaining focused and ready for everything, Olivia’s distraction included. Chris Constantine was down after a superkick, and Tobie left the ring, starting to climb the turnbuckle ready to flaunt her aerial ability. Olivia grabbed her ankle to stop, or at least slow down her ascension. TNT eventually broke free, but the diversion bought Chris enough time to recover and reach her on top, wrapping his arms around her and flipped her over with a super belly to belly suplex. After winking at his wife, thanking her for the assist, Chris went for the cover, resulting in a two count. The match went one for a couple more minutes, until Tobie planted him on his head with a running ddt. Once again she climbed to the top, this time with no obstacles and jumped off with a 450 splash, hooking the leg for another near fall. After the kick out, Chris got on his knees and started begging for mercy, poking Tobie in the eye as soon as she was within reach. Olivia’s scream caught his attention before he could take advantage on the blinded opponent. Cass Baumer leaped over the barricade and was now standing in front of Chris wife, with bad intentions. Constantine turned his attention to the former journalist, yelling at her to stay away from Olivia. Another figure hopped the barricade and slid inside the ring, behind his back, The Godkiller Aella Foley. She didn’t hesitate and clubbed him on the back of the head, knocking him down and forcing the referee to stop the match. WINNER: Chris Constantine Junior BY: DQ, 9:22 |
Bea Torres: "What are they doing? This is not Riot!"
Jared Idol: "Looks like they are settling the score with Constantine for his interference and continuous disrespect toward their show!"
Bea Torres: "Someone should stop them. Where's Dusty?"
Home, probably. Luckily for Chris, someone else's rescued him. Tobie wasn't having none of it and hit Aella with a roundhouse kick, taking her down. Cass slid inside the ring and she took the fight to Tobie, a sort of rematch after her debut against the French girl in Riot. And just like that, Tobie was winning the exchange, at least until Aella broke her in half with a Faugh A Ballagh. With one last look at the carnage they left in the ring, Aella and Baumer left the same way the arrived, through the crowd.
The scene cuts backstage to Megan Rydell walking down the halls of the arena. She’s wearing a black crop top and blue jeans, obviously not wearing her ring gear as once again, she doesn’t have a match. Megan walks up to Gianluigi’s door and knocks on it. She puts on a bubbly smile as she waits for Gian to answer the door.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
Come in!
Sitting behind his desk, Gian takes his eyes off the screen of his desktop, noticing Megan stepping in.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
I was waiting for you Meg. Please, have a seat.
He says with a smile, showing her the chair positioned in front of him.
Megan Rydell:
Oh, you were? What a pleasant surprise.
A bright smile crosses Meg’s face as she sits down.
Megan Rydell:
Is there something you have to say to me? Maybe to make up for certain things?
Leaning back on his leather chair, Gian stares at her.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
It looks more like you have something to say to me. What’s the problem?
Megan shrugs.
Megan Rydell:
I have a lot of problems, Gian. I was screwed out of my title shot and you’ve done nothing about it, besides letting that washed up Robyn Jones idiot jump ahead of me. What’s this with her getting a match with Tiff when I should be getting my rematch, which I deserve?
She leans across the desk, staring down her boss and friend.
Megan Rydell:
A year ago you were telling me that I was a star. You even wanted me in [R]evo. So what aren’t you treating me like one?
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
I still believe that, that’s why I did all I could to bring you back to MWE and to Millennium.
His tone is calm and friendly.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
Spider’s signing generated a lot of hype, only a fool would have passed on this chance. And I’m no fool.
Meg scoffs and shakes her head.
Megan Rydell:
You’re not a fool but I might change my mind in that sentiment if you keep on pushing that idiot. She’s a risk and not a good one. Your future? This company’s future? It should be relying on me, not anyone else. Nobody has my drive, my work ethic, my desire. But most of all? Nobody has been fucked over more when it comes to that Cloud Gate Championship than I have. That’s twice I’ve been screwed, Gian. I deserve my opportunity and a fair one at that.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
Meg… A fair opportunity is what you had at Dark Web. An opportunity you earned, an opportunity you fought for. Unfortunately, you couldn’t capitalize on it.
The young Rydell seems annoyed at his remark.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
I can see why you believe you’ve been screwed over. But, let’s face it… There were no rules in that match. Tiffany beat you, that’s it.
Megan looks frustrated before she lets out a sigh, trying to keep her fiery temper in check.
Megan Rydell:
Put it however you want, it’s still a shady finish. I deserve another shot but if you want me to earn one instead? Then I will. But I can’t earn shit if you don’t book me, Gian. I don’t care if some people don’t get booked every week, I’m not those people and you know it. I need to be in the ring.
For a moment, Gian doesn’t say a word. His eyes locked on Megan’s, which were burning with determination.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
Next week, in Toronto. You will face Spider, how does it sound?
Megan can’t help but smile widely as she stands up from her chair and walks over to Gian before leaning down and giving him a long hug.
Megan Rydell:
Oh my god! That’s perfect!! Thank you, Gian!!!
Meg then gives Gian a kiss on the cheek before leaning back up and grinning.
Megan Rydell:
You won’t regret this.
This unexpected gesture takes the General Manager off guard. Adjusting his jacket and tie, Gian regains his composure, clearing his throat before speaking.
Gianluigi Vaccaro:
I know i won’t.
Meg can’t help but smile before she turns to exit the office, and as she does, a devilish smirk crosses over her face.

Alan Envy VS Duke AndrewsThe Canadians weren't all that certain how to receive Duke Andrews, it was mixed emotions to say the least. Generally, he's an all-around decent guy; however, he's coming off of a loss at Dark Web against his estranged friends, the heavily favored Brothers McMillion. Prior to the pay-per-view event, Duke took a loss to Rebecca Saint, yet somehow earned a title shot against Christopher Kane that he also lost. He turned things around right before the event with a win over Javen and a victory over Cheesecake in Salt Lake City. A win here tonight could wash the pay-per-view loss and put Michigan's Favorite Son back on track to another title shot. If there's a people on the planet more proud of their home than the Canucks, it's the Texans; and, the entire world knows it. Vancouver erupted in cheers as Alan Envy made his entrance. At the recent Dark Web event, Envy made his intentions of pursuing gold clear. Since headlining the double-night Deep in the Heart pay-per-view, he has both a singles and tag team loss against Jason Hawke and Chimera Corp. (Chris Constantine Jr. and Dusty Douglas) respectively. While he was unsuccessful in a Battle Royal at Dark Web, Envy did pick up a win against Knox in Portland. If Envy can turn his streak around, most believe he will soon be in the chase for Millennium gold. When the bell rang, the two large men met in the middle to slap hands before circling the center of the ring. Trash talk aplenty as they measured one another and slammed together, collar×elbow tie up. There wasn't much of a size difference in the two veterans, but their experience locked up had vast difference. Envy quickly transitioned into a wristlock before rolling around behind Duke. A hammerlock pressured The American Rebel's shoulder as Envy controlled the action. Duke managed to duck under and roll behind with a hammerlock of his own that he quickly sequenced into a standing side headlock. Envy didn't hesitate pushing Duke off to the ropes and the action picked up. Duke leapt over a telegraphed back body drop and slammed the brakes immediately behind Envy. As Envy turned around Duke fired him to the corner, Envy rolled out of the way of an avalanche clothesline and ran the adjacent ropes, SLIDING LARIAT! Duke popped right back up and ducked a wild clothesline. Both bigger men to opposite ropes; in the center, Duke pulled the trigger, KILLSHOT! Envy got POPPED in the mouth and nose with Duke's knee and crashed hard to the mat. Duke got a near-two before Envy rolled his shoulder off of the mat. Sure, Envy had kicked out, but his brain was rocked and his nose dripped big red stains in the mat. Duke lifted Envy to his feet and leveled him with a short-arm clothesline. Without letting go of Envy's wrist, Duke jerked him back up for a second. The third time, Duke sent Envy to the ropes and ran the opposite, going for a second KILLSH… BUT Envy stopped on a dime and shoved Duke in mid-air. Duke went down, but didn't stay put as he rolled out of the way of a TEXAS-HUGE leg drop. Envy dropped straight to his ass. Both were back up quick, Duke in control as he locked on a reverse leg hook, CROSSROADS! Duke rolled Envy to his back, lateral press, only a two! Duke rolled to his back, holding onto his knee and allowing Envy to roll to the ropes and find his feet. As the referee checked on Duke, Envy moved in to pick him up off of the mat. Duke snatched Envy's arm and dragged him down, looking for the GOOD NIGHT with a maniacal smile. The wiley Icon simply used his free arm to push against the ankle of Duke's foot and pull his trapped arm free. Envy stomped the Hell out of Duke before ripping him from the mat and firing him hard into the corner. Duke stumbled out and back to the center where Envy popped him up into the air, caught him across his shoulders and dropped him DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Envy hooked Duke's leg for a near-three. The Texan had the fans in a roaring ovation as he picked Duke up, hooked his head and spiked it off of the mat like a lawn dart, ENVIOUS DEMISE! The evenflow DDT was followed with a strong cover and three-count. WINNER: Alan Envy BY: Pinfall (Envious Demise), 10:52 |
Jared Idol: "Big win from Alan tonight in Vancouver!"
Bea Torres: "Kudos to both competitors, but in the end Envy is the one picking up the W, getting back on track after a series of ups and downs following Deep In the Heart."
Jared Idol: "Aye, things didn't go the way he wanted after that big night in Texas. But the impreesive performance at Dark Web and tonight's victory are two steps in the right direction."
After the break, the Cloud Gate Champion herself, Tiffany Tompkins, is already standing in the ring with her title around her shoulder and a microphone in her hand.
Bea Torres:
We are back live, and we've been joined tonight by our Cloud Gate Champion, Tiffany Tompkins, who just emerged from a grueling and emotional battle with the fierce Megan Rydell.
Jared Idol:
She has a match against the returning Spider later tonight, but it seems that the little Death Machine has something to say before the match.
As her music fades out, Tiffany is greeted with a round of applause, which creates a nervous smile on her face as she holds the microphone up to her lips.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Wow. Didn't expect a reaction like this...
The crowd cheers, which causes Tiffany to blush slightly. Still reeling from everything that's happened to her recently, it's understandable that she would finally show a little emotion, even if she's trying her best not to show it.
Tiffany Tompkins:
I just wanted to take this moment to say something. You know, these past few weeks haven't exactly been the easiest. I mean, it's not every day the world finds out you're related to one of the best wrestling families in the world today...
The crowd laughs at Tiffany's obvious dig at herself.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Jokes aside guys, I know I've said this a billion times already, but I am so sorry. It's just that...well...I mean I've already explained myself in that interview with Skylar a few weeks ago, but I have no one else to blame but myself. I shouldn't have kept all that a secret, because if I didn't, maybe everyone will actually believe that I did earn all of these opportunities. Plain and simple, I know I've fucked up, and I never expected to be forgiven. And yet here I am, against the odds, still the Cloud Gate Champion, still YOUR Cloud Gate Champion, and I appreciate each and every one of you who stood by me.
Tiffany is trying to hide her tears back as the crowd cheers loudly for her, almost accepting her apology in unison.
Tiffany Tompkins:
You know, I may be related to Andreas and Heather Lasiewicz, but the truth is, I'd still be nothing without you guys.
That last line struck a cord, causing a chant of "Five Foot Death Kick" to erupt and bringing a smile to Tiffany's face. She takes a brief moment to look down, close her eyes and let it all soak in. Even after everything, she still can't get over the love and support she's been getting, even through her depression.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Alright the last thing I want you guys to see is me crying again so I'll just make the rest of this real quick. I know how much you guys wanna see the return of Spider, right?
There's a slight pop with the mention of Spider's name, which Tiffany acknowledges by shrugging her shoulders.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Well I don't know what the whole deal was with all those hoodie girls she had after my match at Dark Web, but I'm looking forward to facing one of my most unpredictable opponents yet. I know she has quite the reputation and I certainly ain't looking past her. I also hope she's not watching this and seeing me blabbering about my personal life as a weakness, cuz if she does, then I guess she's gonna end up just like Rydell...
The crowd slightly boos at the mention of her name.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Spider, I'm sure you are listening to this right now, so I just want you to know......
??:
Let me do you a favor Tiffany...
The newly 19-year old Cloud Gate Champion is suddenly interrupted by the voice of Vincent Moretti and his usual opening line. The interruption immediately causes Vincent to not be liked by the fans here in Vancouver and he’s booed for it. He soon hobbles out with a crutch under his left arm as support for his leg that’s in a giant cast but he has a microphone in his right hand as he lets out a grunt with how much of a strain this is.
Vincent Moretti:
Let me do you a favor...and let you know that there’s something else on your schedule that you need to know about. If you don’t know who I am, I’m Vincent Moretti and I represent one of the greatest in the game today in Seth Iser. He’s busy in England winning tag team gold as part of Lariat Inc this evening so I’m out here to inform people of certain business. But before we fully get into why I’m out here, congratulations on retaining your championship against that mindgame. Impressive work.
There are a round of cheers given to those words as Vincent just glances at her almost as if he’s trying to get a read on how she’s going to react.
Vincent Moretti:
But as for what I just meant now...let’s take ourselves back a little bit shall we? When Shawn Fox and Seth Iser signed that contract there were some things in the fine print that didn’t have anything pertaining to Mr. Fox that need to come to light. And it’s very important that it was negotiated in there. Something that’s only known between four of us. Between Vaccaro, Fox, Seth Iser, and myself…
Vincent pauses for a moment as the fans are kind of hanging on what he’s saying here, just like Tiffany, who is still none the wiser why Vincent has interrupted her.
Vincent Moretti:
Mr. Vaccaro wanted to do at least one more match with Iser. So we talked, debated...maybe even argued loudly at some points about that one little detail. Eventually a compromise is made...and he conceded to allow Seth the opportunity to pick one opponent that he wanted to face on the entire roster. Anyone he wanted...while Vaccaro got to name the place.
Vincent then sneers at the audience for a moment.
Vincent Moretti:
I am not a fan that said match is going to be in Canada to begin with because everyone here has small town syndrome…but Toronto is a better place than Vancouver for that...
That line doesn’t win him any friends and the fans boo loudly and Vincent smirks at the boos until the fans start to chant ‘Viagra’ at him. As Tiffany starts resting against the ropes with a smirk of her own, Vincent's smirk vanishes and he just scowls.
Vincent Moretti:
THAT’S CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION YOU MOTHER CANUCKERS!
Rather than the composed voice that was more of a higher pitched shriek and the chant continues in full bore before Vincent just scowls at the fans chanting this before lightening his expression toward the young champion.
Vincent Moretti:
But how does that pertain to you with Seth having a match in Toronto? Seth could’ve picked anybody on the roster he wanted. He could’ve picked Al Envy to renew an older series between those two. He could’ve went and chose Christopher Kane even. But he didn’t. You know why? The person who caught his eye these last couple of months more than anyone else...was you. So we sent it. And it’s been agreed to.
Some intrigue from the crowd again and this time Vincent has this smile on his face. Some are cheering for where this is going in terms of a match while some are visibly worried for Tiff’s safety.
Vincent Moretti:
Happy belated birthday kid, because in Toronto...you’re going to go one on one with Seth Iser in a non title match.
A pause as there is a mixed reaction to the announcement and again Moretti just has that smile...a very sly one on his face.
Vincent Moretti:
Good luck kid, we’re going to see where you stack up against Wrestling’s Greatest Mind and if you’re not on your A-Game...I don’t envy what’ll happen to you.
After waiting through all that, Tiffany finally gets a word in.
Tiffany Tompkins:
You done? Good, cuz trust me Vince, you wanna see my A-Game? Just watch what I do to Spider tonight!
And with that, Tiffany slams the microphone onto the mat, showing a glimpse of the ever-intense Death Machine the Millennium fans have become so accustomed to.
Jared Idol:
Well Bea, I guess the gauntlet has just been thrown.
Bea Torres:
As if the returning Spider wasn't enough of a challenge, now Tiffany has to contend with Seth Iser in Toronto?
Jared Idol:
Poor Tiffany just can't catch a break, can she?
The scene closes with Vincent's confident smile as he watches the Cloud Gate Champion staring intently at him.
Triple Threat Match
Selina Metzger VS Rebecca Saint VS Jennifer YangAfter successfully defending her Lockdown Championship at Dark Web, Selina Metzger was facing tonight what was probably her biggest challenge yet. Yang and Saint might have come out empty handed and bruised from the PPV, but we’re still talking about a former MWE champion and a multi time champion, not exactly the kind of opponents you should take lightly. And the Ubermensch knew it, looking very focused and determined before the match started, exploding out of her corner when the bell rang and leveling both competitors with a double clothesline. Rebecca was the first on her feet, receiving a punch to the jaw for her troubles. Jennifer instead was lifted and dropped with a bodyslam, the same fate reserved to Rebecca who got dumped onto Jennifer. Pushing the Uncanny Socialite away, Selina made the first cover on the former Millennium Champion who kicked out in two. After the dominant start, things started turning for the worse for the Lockdown Champion when Rebecca and Jenni started working together with alternate kicks to her legs and ribs before lifting the Ubermensch for a suplex. With the Lockdown Champion finally down, they locked up in a test of strength in the middle of the ring that saw Rebecca getting the upper hand until the former Millennium Champion wiggled away and transitioned into a hammerlock. The fans were graced with a great grappling sequence with the two competitors trading holds. Rebecca brought the fight to the mat with a headlock takedown, Yang escaped it with a kip up and grabbed her arm, twisting it. Saint bridged back, pinning and finding her way out of it and moving behind Yang’s back, applying a waistlock and attempting to suplex her. Jenni tried to resist, fighting back and freeing herself with an elbow smash and switching positions. Selina slid back into the ring and wrapped her arms around Jennifer0s waist, lifting both women with a german suplex. The central part of the match saw Jennifer taking control, knocking Selina downl with her Wing Chun strikes. She then turned her attention to Rebecca who was still recovering from in the corner from an exploder suplex. Yang charged in and flipped Saint in the middle of the ring with a monkey flip, climbing on the top rope afterwards. She measured the distance before jumping and twisting in mid air, landing on the opponent with a beautiful shooting star press. Metzger grabbed her leg and pulled her away from on top of Rebecca before the referee’s hand hit the mat for the third time, keeping the match alive. Jenni got back to her feet and hit the Lockdown Champion with a right punch, Selina answered with a headbutt and a kick to the gut, doubling her over and lifting her for a powerbomb. Rebecca sent the Lockdown champion out of the ring with a dropkick, capitalizing on her work and making the cover on Yang, who somehow managed to kick out. She might have made a name for herself as one half of one of the best tag teams in the world, but Rebecca was a formidable single competitor as well, and she was proving it here tonight. A back kick to Jennifer, a reverse side one followed by a swinging neckbreaker to Selina, Saint was on a roll now, She sent Yang against the ropes and knocked her down with a leg lariat, When she got back to her feet, Selina was right behind her and went for a german suplex. Becca landed on her feet and pushed Selina against Jenni, surprising her with a quick roll up after the impact. The champ kicked out and put an end to her momentum with a big boot. It was down to Selina and Jennifer, and the Lockdown champion came out on top from the exchange, lifting Yang over her shoulders. The former Millennium champion escaped the Elbe Valley driver and kicked the Ubermensch in the gut, grabbing her arm and running up the ropes, taking Selina down with the wristlock springboard cutter she calls #BEHUMBLE. Her numerous fans welcomed it with loud cheers, drown out by the noise made by Rebecca’s supporters when she hit the Saint-Hearted (Discus Elbow smash). The impact sent Yang out of the ring, but Rebecca still had the chance to pin the champion, hooking both legs and keeping her down for the three count. WINNER: Rebecca Saint BY: Pinfall (#BEHUMBLE), 10:57 |
Jared Idol: "That's how you make an impact"
Bea Torres: "Rebecca just grabbed a major win, pinning the lockdown champion nonetheless!"
Jared Idol: "Well, if I know Gian like I think I do, he made this match for a reason. He wanted answers, from the Lockdown Champion and from her two opponents. And Saint just gave him all the answers he needed.."
The camera focuses on the MWE Champion, Christopher Kane, sitting on the locker room floor. Not on a chair, the floor. The title rests on his lap as he’s ready for his contest against Jason Hawk tonight. He doesn’t give really give much in the way of emotion. Chris just stares off into the otherworld of space.
Christopher Kane:
You know, been doing a lot of thinking lately. Life's an uphill battle looking for something. Doesn’t really matter what it is. You’re just busy time and time again trying to reach that point. Some folks fight for something like what I have. Some want the money. Some want the power. Some just want a pat on the back after a stellar match.
His emotionless expression doesn’t change at all, neither does his tone of voice which remains calm.
Christopher Kane:
I fought for this title for the past year, or nearly a year since I joined Millennium. This is what everyone in this company should want to hold. Even the tag teams should aspire to be in these shoes. This….
He pats the championship.
Christopher Kane:
Makes you a target. This title makes you the marked man of Millennium. Some wouldn’t have the ability, physical or mental, to withstand it. Some would wilt under the pressure of having to represent this company and simply not show up at the shows while champion. Others sit in a locker room and realize a great number of things.
The MWE Champion continues to look forward and not really change that tone of his voice.
Christopher Kane:
No matter what I do, no matter who I beat, no matter what titles I win, I won’t get what I ever really want.
He pauses to build the suspense.
Christopher Kane:
And that’s respect.
Another pause to build the moment.
Christopher Kane:
Majority of it is my fault. I’ve done some dumb things in my life. Like, as Jason Hawk likes to reference time and time again, the night I didn’t show up for work because of some woman. It was dumb and I served my punishment for it. I was suspended for those actions, and yet, he can’t let it go. And why? Not like he’s done anything to warrant acting like an ass.
His tone shifts, going from emotionless to a hint of anger.
Christopher Kane:
It all boils down to one thing. He wants this. Just like SERO. Just like Melissa. Just like everyone else on this company. Jason Hawk has spent months pissing and moaning about respect instead of trying to earn it. I’ve been trying to earn that respect by putting in the hard work, changing my style and look at what it got me.
Once more he pats the title.
Christopher Kane:
Hawk, man, you need realize that when you come to me with the same tired ass shtick, I don’t buy it. When you only have one thing that you repeat over and over again at me, I don’t buy it. Just come out and say you want this championship. At least SERO and Mel can be a little honest about it. But this…
He looks at the title and then at the camera.
Christopher Kane:
You don’t have it in you to carry this. Mel doesn’t have it in her to carry this or she would’ve won one of these by now. SERO is looking for this to make Van Beek happy. All three of you think this title will make you. You want this title to make your career feel complete. Like it’s a magic cure-all for your failures.
Shake of the head.
Christopher Kane:
It’s not. This title doesn’t make you, you make this title. Why do you think the Cloud Gate was more important during Nessa’s reign. She didn’t make this title for shit. Me? This title is the world. This title never made me. It’s given me the chance to prove myself even more to the wrestling world, to this company.
The next thing you know, he throws the title down and stands up.
Christopher Kane:
I’ll end my probably boring ass speech with this. Just come and fucking take this if you want. Just shut up and do it. Time for talk is over, everyone. Just. Do. It.
Kane picks the title back up and exits the room.
Singles Match
SERO VS KnoxA last minute addition to the card, a match made by Grace van Beek herself as soon as the news of Knox leaving the structure he voluntarily entered after hijacking the company’s twitter account. Was he fit to compete after the breakdown? That seemed to be the question the fans were asking themselves as the Hackerman made his way to the ring where SERO was already waiting for him. The two men were standing in front of each other, the referee giving them the last warnings when “The Ecstasy Of Gold” by Ennio Morricone blasted out of the loudspeakers. The owner of MWE, escorted by her personal security stepped on the stage and, ignoring the boos of the Vancouver crowd, brought the microphone to her crimson lips. “The other day” she said “I might have omitted a small detail. I forgot to say that this match was meant to be a no disqualification contest. I am sure a tough guy like you does not mind things getting a bit rough” As soon as she finished the sentence, OMI and NEON walked out of the curtains, and suddenly everything made sense. SERO hit the distracted Knox with a forearm to the back of the head, knocking him down. Grace ordered for the bell to ring, giving the start to what was meant to be a punishment. Knox tried to fight back, but the number game was too much for him to handle. The fans never ceased to let Grace know what they were thinking about her and this situation, but the young South African didn’t mind them, too focused enjoying the massacre The Happy Few were delivering. Relentlessly, they took turns hitting Knox. Punches and elbows from the Panther King, Knee Strikes by NEON and kicks from OMI, who finished him with the Super Cyclone. Or so everyone thought. Knox wasn’t moving, but NEON still picked him up and hit her Shatter-Shock (Suplex-positioned knee strike). The last word was up to SERO, who picked him up for the Tenchi Kaijin, resting a foot on his chest and pinning him, looking at Grace who was clapping her hands, applauding the Happy Few’s actions. And being the only person doing so. WINNER: SERO BY: Pinfall (Tenchi Kaijin), 4:01 |
Bea Torres: "That was disgusting!"
Jared Idol: "I wish I could say I'm shocked but I'm not... We probably should've seen this coming."
Bea Torres: "What do you mean?"
Jared Idol: "Well, it's a fact that Grace doesn't like when her authority is challenged. Knox embarassed the company, she had to make an example out of him"
Bea Torres: "NO SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO!"
Jared Idol: "From hr point of view? She couldn't let this go unpunished.
Spider stands backstage next to Chloe Collins.
Chloe Collins:
Good evening, Millennium fans! I’m standing here next to Millennium’s newest star.. Spider! Welcome to Millennium.
The camera pans over to Spider, who looks distracted by a piece of lint she’s found in her pocket.
Chloe Collins:
Spider?
Spider rolls the little ball of fuzz between her fingers, studying it before flicking it away.
Chloe Collins:
Spider, last week you made an entrance, and seemed to call out the current Cloud Gate Champion, Tiffany Tompkins, immediately after her defense against Megan Rydell. Now, it’s been a while since you’ve been in the Millennium ring. The last time you were signed to the company, it was under Jay Halich’s PRIDE Pro Wrestling, where you became the inaugural West Coast Champion… a belt that was later rebranded to the Cloud Gate Championship when we relocated to Chicago.
Spider says nothing, and doesn’t really seem to be paying attention.
Chloe Collins:
Is this an indication that you’re coming back to take what you had to relinquish due to your injury? What do you think of all the other wrestlers who feel that THEY should get their shot at the Cloud Gate Championship?
Spider looks at Chloe, as if suddenly aware that someone’s been standing next to her this whole time.
Spider
I’m sorry, was that for me?
Chloe frowns.
Chloe Collins:
This….. This is an interview. That YOU requested.
Spider
I did?
Chloe narrows her eyes.
Spider
Something about Cloud Gate….. No, honestly, I’m not all that interested in the belt.
Chloe Collins:
But you-
Spider
You know who’s been dominating the first few months of 2019? Tiffany Tompkins. She’s won what, three different titles in the last few months? Everywhere you go, people are talking about Tiffany. Tiffany is one of the hottest stars right now, isn’t she?
Chloe Collins:
So it’s a pride thing?
Spider
No. You know who everyone was talking about this time last year? Who was the brightest and fastest rising star to kick off 2018? Yeah, that was me. I was starting revolutions. I was winning championships. Like you said, the record books show that I was the first Cloud Gate Champion.
Chloe Collins:
Back in PRIDE.
Spider
Back in PRIDE. Millennium is three times that size. PRIDE was some little independent promotion on the west coast. Millennium is international. We’re not in those little ragtag companies anymore… this is the bright lights and the big stage.
Chloe Collins:
And you want Tiffany.
Spider
If I want to prove that I’m just as good as I was when I was wrecking shit in this business, I need to beat the one that took my place. Who here started slow, but had a meteoric rise to kick off the year? Who’s been collecting championships like trading cards? Who’s got everybody talking? The belt is the belt… if it’s on the line or not, ain’t a huge deal to me. I’m not in it for the belt. I’m in it to beat the new Spider.
Chloe Collins:
And you think that’s Tiffany.
Spider:
Don’t need to think it. It’s written all over. Tonight is step one. We’re gonna rebuild.
Chloe opens her mouth to say something but before she can get a word out, Spider has vanished. Chloe frowns.
Chloe Collins:
How did she-..... Whatever, back to you guys.
The Misery and The Manic are in the backstage clinic as Sandy Walters, onsite Doctor of MWE, checks out The Manic’s face. She observes for a while, then stands up straight and places her hands on her hips.
Sandy Walters:
Well, Ms Manic, you seem to be fine, just some slight bruising. However, you might want to take it easy for a few days because being knocked unconscious like that isn’t good for anybodies health, let alone somebody who isn’t trained in wrestling.
The Manic:
‘Kay.
Sandy remains silent for a moment with a frown plastered across her face.
Sandy Walters:
You know, usually this is the part where the patient thanks the doctor and the doctor leaves feeling good about their decision to study medicine.
The Manic:
You’re standing much too closely to The Misery for The Manic to be grateful.
Sandy turns to The Misery beside her, and The Misery shrugs. Sandy rolls her eyes and exits the setting. The Misery leans over the hospital bed and comes face to face with his manager/girlfriend?/whatever the heck she is to him and snarls.
The Misery:
It’s about time The Misery teaches you how to fend for yourself.
The Misery takes a step back, stares at her for a moment, then walks away. The camera closes in on The Manic’s concerned facial expression that declares her feelings about The Misery’s vague statement.
Singles Match
Tiffany Tompkins VS SpiderMaking her comeback at Dark Web in her hometown of Los Angeles (Spider, Web, LA… coincidence?) Spider made it clear that her goal was the Cloud Gate Championship, the same title Tiff barely hung on at the end of a draining, both physically and mentally, battle against Megan Rydell. Tonight, on her first match after a year long absence from the ring was against the young champion herself, Tiffany Tompkins. Turned 19 only yesterday, the Five Foot Deathmachine doesn’t seem able to catch a break. Everybody is gunning at her, with Seth Iser recently adding his name to the list that already comprehended Spider and Megan. The hard life of a champion… The highly anticipated match finally started with Tiffany coming out strong off the gate with a series of swift kicks, forcing Spider to cower back to the ropes. The referee asked Tiffany to step back and the Cloud Gate champion obliged, granting a clean break. As soon as Spider was in range, Tompkins shoot with a stiff kick to the leg, the first of a long series that eventually chopped the opponent down. The blond fury didn’t stop there, hitting the opponent with a ridiculous amount of kicks to the chest that fired up the crowd, ready to pop on their feet when Tiffany hit the ropes and knocked the tattooed woman down with a running big boot. She made the cover, getting a dangerously close to three early count out of it. Not quite how Spider pictured her comeback. The former Coastal Champion (that was the name of the title held by Tiffany before Pride Pro was rebranded to Millennium by Chuck Matthews) took longer that she was hoping for to shake off the ring rust, partly because of the magnitude of her opponents who was even more impressive than the usual tonight, looking to send a message to Iser and whoever wanted to challenge her that the Five Foot Deathmachine was back in full force. Another close call after a swinging DDT seemed to wake up Spider, who was quick to move out of the ring when Tiffany picked her up and sent her in the corner. The young champion crashed against the empty corner, and if that wasn’t enough, Spider followed with an enziguri to the back of the head. Tompkins was stunned, staggering close the ropes. Spider jumped on the top one and used it as a springboard to leap toward her with a springboard hurrincanrana. The match lived up its hype, with the two contenders not holding anything back in an enjoyable clash of styles between Spider’s high flying technique and Tiffany’s hard hitting strikes. Back and forth action that went on for over ten minutes, with a bunch of false finals for both competitors. A ridiculously close to three count for Tiffany after she caught Spider on the top rope with a right hand and dropped her on her face with the Bone Grinder (rope hung flatliner, one of the many moves she adopted from her mentor Brytain Rollins). Spider thought she had the Cloud Gate Champion beaten after the Vow of Silence (Tornado DDT) but Tompkins showed great ring awareness despite the young age and rested her foot on the bottom rope. Fatigue clearly visible on both their faces, Tiffany and Spider were now trading hands, all the strategy, the gameplans out of the window. And while everyone was expecting to see Tiffany coming out on top of this exchange, it was Spider who landed a right jab to the jaw that stunned the Cloud Gate Champion. Spider followed with a jumping knee strike, but Tiffany refused to go stay down, grabbing the ropes to pull herself up. The former Empire Great Lakes Champion had a confident smile on her face, waiting for her dazed opponent to get in position for her Spiderbite (540 kick). But before she could perform her finishing move, Megan Rydell entered the ring and knocked her off her feet with a stiff lariat. A rain of boos followed her actions, while she pointed her finger to Tiffany, telling her that they were not done yet. WINNER: Spider BY: DQ (Outside Interference), 14:20 |
Jared Idol: "A great match ruined by Megan..."
Bea Torres: "Why? She already got her match against Spider scheduled for nexy week!"
Jared Idol: "There's more at stakes for the Young Rydell. Tiffany, the Cloud Gate championship, Spider... Megan has an open issue with both these competitors... Things are about to get heated!"
Bea Torres: "Oh thank God, it's so cold here..."
"Oh, darlin’ darlin’ what have I done?”
Almost before the guitar kicks in it has been deafened by the boos that could be heard all the way back to Chicago from Canada. The Canadian fans didn’t think any differently of His Flying Majesty than their American counterparts. Jason steps out onto the stage in his ring gear ready for the main event. There is a calm smirk on his face as he walks down the ramp smiling through all the boos and inappropriate hand gestures thrown his way from the roaring crowd. He enters the ring and asks for a microphone. He gets one but doesn’t speak. Instead he lets the crowd boo has the chant his name to spite him. He smiles as he lets it go on for a minute or two. Finally, he raises his hand and holds up two fingers.
Jason Hawk:
Twice.
The crowd boos again determined not to let him speak.
Jason Hawk:
Twice, I had to put Jennifer Yang through a table, and she dares to complain about it afterwards because we both go through a table at the same time? Has she lost her mind? There is a plan behind everything that I do. It wasn’t an accident that she sent herself through the table to begin with. I set up a trap and she not only fell for it. She dove in head first! But still she wants to bring up that I may or may not have gone through the second table first.
The crowd boo as the replay clearly showed that Jason did go through the table first.
Jason Hawk:
Shut up, it is irrelevant anyways. Our useless referees couldn’t tell the difference if their lives depended on it. But sure, I’ll humor you. Maybe I did go through the table first. But guess what? It doesn’t matter. If everything was right in this world, I would have been declared the winner already by that point and that situation would never have occurred. So, I guess that in a cruel poetic justice two wrongs made a right.
Jason laughs as the crowd boo his latest statement. Again, he raises his hand and holds up two fingers.
Jason Hawk:
You know what else I’ve done twice? In one on one competition I’ve twice beaten Jennifer Yang. When she stepped up to my challenge, I was in all honesty a little surprised. I didn’t take her for someone who could hang with someone like me. Which we later found out that she couldn’t but kudos to her for stepping up. And in a rare moment of humility I was little flattered. A former Millennium champion stepped up. A former Millennium champion felt the need to put me in my place and teach me a thing or two about respect. Good on her for believing in herself. But over the last few weeks I’ve come to realize something. After she lost her dear title, she really hasn’t done much of anything. Facing me is the biggest thing she has done since and now I understand why. She didn’t want to stand up for you and prove how good she was. No, she saw an opportunity. She also hears the reaction I get when I step out here. She can see the signs that you people bring to every single show. Just like that one right there.
Jason points towards a sign near the front that shows a hawk being shot down from the sky.
Jason Hawk:
Or that one.
He points to sign which reads “Die Hawk Die” in the same design that is on numerous t-shirts around the fans in attendance.
Jason Hawk:
Or those ones.
He points further up the rows where a group of people hold up signs with only a word on each but together, they read “We came to boo Jason Hawk”
Jason Hawk:
The signs were literally right in front of her. What Jennifer Yang did was what any desperate fallen competitor would do. She saw a way for her to get back into the spotlight on my expense. I’ve come to realize that she isn’t all that and maybe she never was. She is just a washed up has been who wanted to use me to get back into the spotlight. And that is someone who you cheer?
Jason shakes his head as the crowd start a Jennifer Yang chant.
Jason Hawk:
I hope you got what you wanted Jenni. Because I am done with you now. Which brings me to a more important subject.
Jason says with a huge smile on his face.
Jason Hawk:
Oh Christopher Kane! You got something that I want. And as we all know I get what I want. Especially against a pussy like Chris Kane. Oh yeah, I said it. I think he is a pussy. I know that your memory is horrible, but I’ve already beaten him once. I like to remind him of it every now and then because he starts whining about it and tells me how I didn’t get what was going on at the time. I would like to remind you all what was going on back then, but I never knew what was going on. So, he was right actually. I didn’t know what was going on with him that faithful night when he saw me standing in the ring and ran away. But more importantly I didn’t care then, and I don’t care now. Because I learned all I need to know about our current champion that night. He was faced with a difficult task. He had a fight on his hand. He could either step up or run away. And like the glorious champion that he is he... ran away?
Jason stops to let it sink in, but the fans don’t really care for it. Because they remember how Chris fought bravely against the corruption of Chuck Matthews. They remember how he made a statement when he didn’t just accept the impossible task Nessa Wall had put in front of him when she abused her briefcase power to screw him over in the before mentioned match against Jason.
Jason Hawk:
Your Millennium champion ladies and gentlemen. A pussy who runs away when things get tough. So, what was going doesn’t matter. All that matters are that he ran away. Tucked his tail between his legs and ran off to twitter to whine about how unfair life is and that it is him against the world. Poor little thing. By doing so he showed us his true colors. But here is something to cheer you up Chris. Look around. These people haven’t come here to watch me win the main event. I can’t promise you that they will support in your fight against the world, but they will support you tonight. But remember...
Jason raises his hand once more and holds up two fingers.
Jason Hawk:
After tonight I will have beaten you twice. Regardless if you plan on showing up this time.
Singles Match
Jason Hawk VS Christopher KaneIt wasn’t a clean win, but still a prestigious one. At Dark Web Jason Hawk defeated, again, the former Millennium Champion Jennifer Yang, staking his claim at the top prize in the company, the MWE Championship held by Christopher Kane. The champion was not in a great mood, to say the least. His first defense, the chance to settle the score with his ex girlfriend and prove her and everyone else that it wasn’t by luck that he won the title got ruined by Grace and her games. Both men had a lot to prove tonight, as it became obvious since the opening bell when they jumped at each other’s throat trading stiff forearms.Hawk stood his ground, but eventually the MWE Champion managed to land a series of strikes. Hawk seemed stunned and Christopher made use of the situation hitting him with a jumping knee, sending him against the ropes and jumping with a dropkick. He made the cover, Jason kicked out in one. Unlike his previous matches where he showed preference for a more striking based offense, tonight Christopher opted to keep a slower pace, relying on various holds with an extensive use of cravate to clip Hawk’s wings and keep a slow pace. The strategy was paying off, throwing the multi time world champion off his game. Getting another near fall after a cravate suplex, Kane went to pick the opponent up, receiving a punch to stomach by Jason who tried to build some offense, quickly frustrated by a knee to the face from the MWE Champion. Just like that he regained control, lifting Hawk over his shoulders ready to connect his Hit By A Cyclone. Jason slipped away and caught the champ with a kick to the side of the head, quickly slamming his back on his knee and dropping him on the mat with a backbreaker/neckbreaker combination. Finally Jason could start building some momentum and exploiting his speed to put the champion in a difficult position. Christopher kicked out from a pinfall after a crossbody attempt and stood up to his feet for just a brief moment before a kick to the leg put him on his knee. Hawk went for an shining wizard and collected another near fall. The fans started chanting Chris name, and his reaction was almost immediate, catching His Dying Majesty kick and ducking the following enziguri, catching him for an half and half suplex as soon as he got back up. Jason crawled to the corner and used the ropes to pull himself up, moving out of the way when Chris charged at full speed. The champion was able to avoid the impact against the corner, but when he turned around, he turned right into a dropkick from Hawk who asked the fans to stay silent before hitting the opponent’s chest with a chop, putting all his strength in it. The tides had now turned in Jason favor, and he almost walked out with the win after a ZUUUUUUUMA! (running Riott Kick). At the very last moment Christopher raised his shoulder, right before the three despite Hawk trying to convince the referee otherwise. This pointless argument bought the champion some time, allowing him to surprise Jason with a quick cradle when he went to pick him up. The two men were back on their feet, once again exchanging stiff shots in the middle of the ring. Once again Kane came out on top and lifted the opponent over his shoulders. This time Jason couldn’t avoid getting Hit By A Cyclone (Fireman’s carry pele kick), although he managed to roll out of the ring. Christopher followed him there, ending up face first on the steel steps when Jason grabbed the edge of his trunks and pulled him down. Kane was busted open, but determined to continue fighting. Hawk sent him against the barricade and charged in, running right into Christopher’s elbow. The champ lifted him for a back suplex on the barricades. Slowly they both stood up, still trading blows and getting closer to the announcer’s table. Jason slammed his opponent bloody face on the table, yelling at Bea and Jared to move out of the way while tossing everything on the surface to the floor. He put Chris on the table and climbed as well, in a sort of deja vu from a few weeks ago when he put Jennifer Yang through the table with his Wings Of Time. This time things didn’t go his way, and Chris was able to counter the move and drive Hawk through the table with a ace crusher. None of them was moving, the referee count reached ten and the match ended in a no contest. EMT rushed to the scene to check on both competitors WINNER: // BY: No Contest (Double Countout), 16:39 |
Bea Torres:
A-Are they dead?
Jared Idol:
Uhhhh... No I don't think they are. But it was a close call.
Bea Torres:
Kane and Hawk took each other to the limit, and none of them is walking out with the win... Or, you know, walking out at all.
Jared Idol:
A great match with a gruesome ending. One thing is sure, Jason proved he can go with the champion.
Bea Torres:
Another thing that's for sure, is that we're running out of time!
Jared Idol:
Aye. We're going to Toronto next week, Bea, and we already have a couple of matche scheduled.
Bea Torres:
Oh yeah, two HUGE matches... Spider vs Rydell and Tompkins vs Seth Iser. Can you believe it? I'm so excited, this is gonna be great!
Jared Idol:
Everybody is, and if they are not, they probably want to check their pulse. That's all for tonight, folks, Jared and Bea wish you all a good night.
Bea Torres:
