Alyx Valero:
Man, tonight is gonna be great! Melissa Reeves and Cass Baumer teaming up to take on The Beef and his manager, Charlotte Webster.
Zackary Dyson:
A match made by our general manager herself, sick and tired of Charlotte's shenanigans.
Alyx Valero:
Yeah, Yulia is not someone you want to mess with....
Zackary Dyson:
Before that, ten Junior Heavyweight Tournament matches.
Alyx Valero:
A huge night awaits us, we might have the first names to qualify for the final!
Zackary Dyson:
You're right pal. So what if we cut the chat and go straight to the action?

Singles Match
Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group E
Yoji Kojima VS Nikki KnightJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group E
Yoji Kojima wasted no time, charging at Nikki with a spear as soon as the bell rang, making the first cover of the match, with Knight kicking out in two. He picked her up and started chopping her all the way back to the ropes, sending her for a run to the opposite site and connecting a dropkick as she came back. It was is turn then to run at the ropes, jumping on Nikki with a springboard moonsault that saw him landing on her knees. She quickly rolled him over for a cover, but Yoji managed to kick out, popping back up to his feet and swinging his leg catching Nikki on the side of her head. When he went to pick her up, Nikki positioned her head under his chin and dropped to her knees, stunning him with a chin breaker, following up with her Chivalry Is Dead (Damage Reflex), getting anoter near fall. Kojima turned the tides when he caught Nikki with a tilt a whirl ddt, following up with a running single leg dropkick when the canadian stood up to her feet and a split legged moonsault for a very close to three pinfall attempt. The japanese wrestler started stomping the opponent, dragging her back to her feet and dropping her down once again with a neckbreaker. Nikki fought back, blocking a suplex attempt and connecting with one of her own. The two compeitors met in the middle of the ring, trading hands in an all out brawl that saw Yoji's striking ability giving him the upper edge. Knight though was able to duck the spinning heel kick and quickly lifted Kojima over her shoulders and dropped him down with an electric chair. As he was getting up, she deadlifted him and hit a bridging german suplex for a count of two. The action went on, neither one of the two competitors holding back. Victory was the only option to keep the dream alive, and they both were chasing it at any cost. After a beatiful Spanish Fly, Yoji waited for Knight to get up, ready for his patented poison mist. Nikki saw it out of the corner of her eyes and from the mat, drove her head into Yoji's stomach, causing him to spit the mist part of which ended up blinding the referee. Nikki hit him with a low blow before picking him up for her Knightfall (Sitout Last Ride Powerbomb). The referee wiped his eyes from the green mist and dropped in position, making the count and declaring Nikki Knight as the winner of this match WINNER: Nikki Knight BY: Pinfall (Knightfall), 9:28 |
The cameras swing backstage to catch the Canadian Knightmare, Nikki Knight as she’s walking backstage after her match. The blonde wrestler is still somewhat out of breath, body glistening with sweat as she chugs back some water. The Canadian glances to the camera and stops walking.
Nikki Knight:
Let me make this clear. I may not win every single match, but what you saw out there is proof I am a force to be reckoned with. My opponent ran his mouth, said he’d put a rose on me when I fell. Guess what, Tuxedo Mask, that’s now how this played out now is it.
The blonde sips more water as she continues.
Nikki Knight:
I’ve been dicked around in this business since the very first day I walked into a gym and said I wanted to train. I’ve been given the runaround, mocked, insulted and most of all looked down upon. That’s just a sample of what’s in store. Riot is in for a real Knightmare.
With that Nik resumes her pace, drinking her water and waving the camera crew away as she walks off screen.

Singles Match
Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group D
Alexis Kennedy VS Mr BoneshakerJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group D
After the first round, everyone in Group D is tied with one point. A loss tonight would most likely mean the end of any hope to advance in the tournament, and with such high stakes it was fair to expect this to be an intense match, as the way it started off gave up. Alexis charged in with a shotgun dropkick that sent Boneshaker against the corner, his head bouncing hard against the middle turnbuckle pad. Climbing up to the top rope, she jumped on him with a double foot stomp, going for a quick win attempt hooking the legs for a cover, but Boneshaker kicked out. He tried to slow down the pace to stop the momentum Alexis was building in these first minutes, successfully applying a side headlock and taking her down to the mat. Kennedy tried to get free, getting up to her feet and pushing him against the ropes. Bones rebounded back with a sling blade and mounted on top of the Murder Fairy, throwing a series of quick lefts and rights to her face. The match became very physical, with Boneshaker locking the opponent in a Muay Thai clinch position, driving the knees to her face. Kennedy fought back with a right punch to the ribs, a left and another right, finally creating some separation she quickly exploited with a headbutt. Stunned. Bones dropped to his knees, slowly getting up only to get hit by a supergirl punch from Josh’s sister that sent him back against the ropes. Lexi charged at him with a clothesline, dropping the Squire Academy trainee out of the ring. Kennedy climbed to the top rope diving onto him and Tempest who rushed to check on him with a crossbody to the outside. Bones tried to protect his manager but she got hit nonetheless by Alexis’ move, and this seemed to trigger the big bald man, who became way more aggressive. He got up, blocked his opponent’s right hand and quickly dropped her on the floor outside with a snap suplex. The referee count reached now eight, and Bones decided to bring the fight back inside the ring, not before driving Kennedy’s head against the ring post. He made a quick cover, but Lexi lifted her shoulder. Constantly checking at Tempest on the outside with quick glances, Boneshaker was unleashing hell on the Murder Fairy, Picking her up by the hair from another failed pinfall attempt after a Savate Kick, he ran at the jumped over the top rope and on the apron, driving her neck on the top rope with a Hot Shot and quickly following with a Tornado DDT, a combination he calls Snap And Pop. Alexis was down flat on her back, with Boneshaker stalking her, waiting for the opportunity to hit her with his Skull Splitter. Alexis avoided the kick and quickly rolled him over, almost stealing the win. As both opponents got back up, she took the charging in opponent down with a leg scissors takedown, stomping and kicking Bones on the ribs and the back as he fell face first to the mat. Getting a running start, she kicked his head off with a punt kick, immediately making the cover. Surprisingly, he was able to kick out not only of this, but from the shooting star leg drop she followed up with as well. Alexis looked down at him in disbelief, shaking her head. She took a few steps back, measuring him up for the FUM Kick, finally putting Bones down for a three count. WINNER: Alexis Kennedy BY: Pinfall (FUM Kick), 9:38 |
The segment opens on something that can never be a good sign. Laughter. It is however a sign, or warning, that something incredibly stupid is about to happen. It might explain why Skull Kid 2 has his back turned to the camera.
Oh, nope, he stops laughing and looks around, noticing the camera is behind him. He promptly turns around to face it. And now he’s laughing again. So he’s just an idiot. Got it.
SK2’s waving his bat around so freely that the cameraman has to take a step back. It’s in this manual zoom out you can see something in his other hand. Oh good. It’s probably ham or some bees.
He lifts it up and what did I tell you it’s a...
Jar?
Yes, it’s an old feudal clay jar. It looks like there’s some pieces of paper slapped onto it? Did he go to pottery barn before the show? Is this some type of big gimmick change for him, Skull Kid 2, the clay worker?
When he stops waving it around so much by its neck we can actually see what it’s all about. The pieces of paper are ofuda. Paper talismans. If you’re familiar with Shinto or Onmyodo this suddenly starts to make sense.
Skull Kid 2:
GHOST!
Still laughing like a hyena, Skull Kid 2 spells it out for us. He points at the camera when he addresses Specter and then points at the jar. There’s a time-out for a giggle fit and then he slaps the cork into the jar to seal it. A confident nod only a fool like him could give ends his demonstration.
Confused?
He’s implying he intends to use Shinto mythicism to seal away Specter, the “evil spirit”. Yes. Really. He’s rather proud of this plan too mystifyingly.
Skull Kid 2:
BASH!
Skull Kid 2 plays at bashing someone over the head with the jar to sign off. Wouldn’t surprise me if he really does that at some point. Bet he’s murdered somebody before. He looks the type.

Jackson Idol VS Marilyn Lee CrossJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group C
Jackson Idol versus Marilyn Lee Cross started off with a bang, the two competitors trading a array of counters and strikes. Eventually, Marilyn takes control after she nails Jackson with a leaping dropkick, hitting him straight in the face with it. She goes for the pin but Idol kicks out after one and immediately gets up to his feet. He charges Marilyn but she ducks his attempted clothesline and then hits Idol with a brutal Pele kick. Cross goes for another pin but Idol kicks out once again, this time after the two count. Cross backs up and looks to line Jackson up for something big now and she stalks over him. Jackson begins to stir and Cross charges him, but Jackson, the much larger competitor, catches her and nails her with a brutal looking spinebuster. The two lie there for a moment, catching their breath before they both start to get up. They start to trade clubbing blows to each other but Jackson begins to gain the lead before he throws a brutal knee strike right into Cross’ gut. Jackson then lifts her up and nails her with a vertical suplex. He does not wait to continue his offense, as he picks Marilyn up again and this time drops her with a German suplex. Jackson hits the top rope quickly and leaps off, going for a frog splash but Marilyn was able to get her knees up in the air and Jackson’s ribs connect directly into her knees. He bounces off of her, clutching his ribs in agony and Marilyn wastes little time, rolling Jackson up into a pin. The referee makes the count but Marilyn only gets a two count before Jackson kicks out. Cross doesn’t let up, as she hits a kneeling Jackson with a thunderous snap DDT. She pins again but once again, the young Idol kicks out. Cross is starting to look frustrated, as she isn’t able to keep Jackson down. She decides to hit the top rope, looking to go for something big. She waits for Jackson to stir and when he does, she leaps off! But Idol was playing possum and he saw her coming and he nails Cross with a BRUTAL European uppercut, which echoes throughout the arena. Marilyn attempts to get up to her knees but it’s obvious she is dazed. She finally gets to her feet but she doesn’t have the wherewithal to counter the incoming Idol, who charged in and nailed her with a brutal FC Cutter (RKO). Jackson pins MLC and picks up the hard fought victory. WINNER: Jackson Idol BY: Pinfall (FC Cutter), 10:33 |
The feed cuts to the catering area backstage where Brendan Callaghan is filling up a plate full of food. His face is all lit up, his eyes shining as he licks his lips hungrily. A staff member walks past him and appears to trip over something. They both look down to see that it’s Brendan’s bag, just carelessly dropped in everyone’s way.
Brendan Callaghan:
Whoa, sorry, man!
With a hand raised apologetically, he says in a booming voice before quickly kicking his bag aside. It’s clear to see from his clothes and bag, he didn’t even make it to the locker room. Instead, he goes straight to the catering area. It’s like nothing else in the world matters now, not even his upcoming match with Gabriel Hooke. Right now, Brendan is in his happy place, just shoving tacos into his mouth. Suddenly, the plate in Brendan’s hand is snatched away and it’s none other than his girlfriend and manager, Jade Night.
Jade Night:
I told you to wait until after your match, Brendan! Gabriel Hooke is probably prepping in his locker room right now, not stuffing his face and making himself feel slow and lethargic.
But Brendan merely scoffs as he smiles confidently.
Brendan Callaghan:
Yes… But this is for energy, so I can counter everything Gabriel throws at me and WIN! Eh? Eh?
He taps his temple twice before reaching for his plate from Jade’s hands. Jade pulls the plate away before turning it over and dropping the contents on the floor, causing Brendan’s eyes to widen.
Jade Night:
You will not be getting energy from this garbage!
Brendan Callaghan:
How-- what-- Why would you do that???
His shoulders slump as he stares at the sad mountain of food on the floor. Then he looks back up at Jade.
Brendan Callaghan:
Babe, that’s not cool. What if I faint in the middle of the match??? I barely ate lunch!
But just as he says it, he lets out a loud burp and he quickly covers his mouth with one hand, trying to be discreet about it. Then clears his throat to keep up with the act. Jade glares at Brendan before shaking her head.
Jade Night:
Really? Because that burp sounds otherwise! And it doesn’t smell like what I made you!
Jade glances down at Brendan’s gym bag before bending down and searching through it until she finds a shaker cup, which has the remnants of what looks to be cookies and milk. Jade holds the cup up to Brendan’s face and scoffs.
Jade Night:
Did you really get rid of the protein drink I made you for cookies and milk!?
Like a child caught redhanded, Brendan gives her a sheepish smile.
Brendan Callaghan:
For… uh… extra energy? I mean, in my defense, the protein drink had a weird color.
He shrugs as Jade tosses the bottle to the side and then grabs him by the arm.
Jade Night:
It’s supposed to look like that! But that’s it! You’re not leaving my side anymore, even when you have to use the restroom!
Brendan Callaghan:
Come on, babe, I’m sorry, okay? I won’t do it again.
But it’s clear to see that he doesn’t really mean it as he winces, just thinking about it.
Jade Night:
Save it! You can’t trick me like you do your dad and others! Now come on, we have to get you ready!
Jade starts to pull Brendan away from the catering table and towards the locker room area. On their way out, Brendan snatches one last taco from the table. Some of the staff members crowding there give him judging looks while shaking their heads, but Brendan just happily stuffs the food into his mouth before the scene cuts away.

Singles Match
Brendan Callaghan VS Gabriel HookeThe former Liberty Pro Trials Champion took his time getting ready to begin the match as the te clearly annoyed Gabriel Hooke waited for him. Callaghan used the time to get under Hooke skin until finally Gabriel had had enough. Hooke exits the ring and chases Brendan around. Callaghan catches Gabriel sliding back into the ring by stomping the back of his neck, causing Jade Night, Brendan’s manager, to applaud from outside of the ring as she tells Brendan to finish him quick. Callaghan picks Gabriel up and whips him into the ropes but Hooke rebounds with a hard lariat. He follows up with another one as Brendan rolls to the outside to rethink his strategy and slow everything down. Later in the match Gabriel continues to keep control of the match by frustrating Callaghan. Gabriel catches Callaghan and attempts a belly to belly which is countered by hard elbow shots from the eldest of the Callaghan clan. Yet Brendan is eventually caught with a brutal cutter. Gabriel covers Callaghan but only gets a two count. The momentum eventually changed to Callaghan, as Brendan whips Gabriel to the corner and then mounts him, hitting him with several blows until it reaches ten. Brendan then drops down and hits Hooke with a running bulldog. Callaghan then lifts Gabriel up and nails a leaping piledriver that looks like it knocked out Gabriel. Callaghan went for the cover but Hooke shows he still has life kicking out at two. Callaghan is setting Gabriel up for Southie Glory but Gabriel finds a shot of adrenaline and he counters Brendan, hitting him with a strike and punch combo that staggers Brendan back. A springboard clothesline from Hooke almost takes Brendan’s head off as Hooke covers Callaghan but he kicks out at two and a half. After another stiff exchange between the two men for a moment Brendan again gets the advantage. He goes for Southie Glory again but Hooke counters and delivers a devastating DDT. Hooke goes for the pin but Callaghan is able to kick out after two! Hooke looks frustrated a bit as he picks Brendan up but Jade Night leaps up onto the apron and she distracts the referee. This also causes Hook to get distracted and Brendan nails Gabriel with a low blow!! Callaghan FINALLY nails Southie Glory and Jade drops from the apron. Brendan pins Gabriel and picks up the three count and the win. Brendan quickly rolls out of the ring and he gives Jade a big hug that almost knocks her over as the two celebrate his win. WINNER: Brendan Callaghan BY: Pinfall (Southie Glory), 7:41 |
Our Good Wrestling Boy was standing on the Strip with his hat on backwards and squinting at the sun a bit. He has a giant cup in his hand and the MGM Grand is behind him, the giant golden lions shining in the sun. He nods his head a bit as random people look at the camera or pat him on the back, a few recognizing him and getting excited as they pass.
Kory Kramp:
Vegas! A city of sin and crazy party action and all kinds of debauchery! Those really aren't my scenes but I can see why people have fun here though. The lights and the shows are cool but there is only one show I am concerned about in town this weekend and it is... RIOT! Yup, Riot is invading Las Vegas and we are going to hit up the Orleans with an amazing wrestling show.
He flipped his hat forward to block out a bit of the sun, realizing the busy street probably wasn't the best place to talk about his match with all the foot traffic.
Kory Kramp:
Now my debut on Riot turned out a little less successful than I had originally hoped so. My mystery opponent got the best of me and made me take a step back in this tournament but now that I've taken one step back I am ready to make a huge leap forward this week against the amazing and magical Britt April!
He grinned as soon as he said her name. She was a good person and really Kory liked facing friends in the ring more than jerks for the most part. There was much less chance for cheating or shenanigans that way.
Kory Kramp:
I'm super, duper excited to share a ring with her. I mean I probably wouldn't even be in Millennium Wrestling if it wasn't for her. So this will not only be an amazing test of my skills but it will also be fun to see how well I can do against someone on her level. Of course this is a tournament and I am a Good Wrestling Boy so I am going to try to win. I mean it would be disrespectful not to, right? I am going all out and I am going to make sure that I don't go 0-2 in my first tournament ever. That wouldn't be cool. I wanna get this win and I wanna show this tournament what I can do. So Britt... Be ready because I'm ready and we are going to steal the show and melt some faces from bell to bell. This is our night and may the best wrestling boy OR girl win. Good luck Britt and I'm sure everyone here in Vegas is in for one heck of an awesome show!
Kory smiles and gives the camera a shaka sign. He then waves before disappearing into the huge crowd wandering the streets on Vegas. He had a big match to prepare for and he didn't wanna leave his second Riot like he did the first.

She pulls back on his arm, looking for a submission but Kory manages to roll free from it. April is able to roll back to her feet and looks for a superkick but Kory is just able to smack her foot away. Kramp grabs onto Brit and takes her up in the air for a suplex but April manages to counter as she lands on her feet behind him. April then levels Kory with a shining wizard to the back of the head. Brittany lands in a pile outside the ring, using the guardrail to help stand up while Kory hits the far ropes, comes back and suicide dives through the middle ropes and takes her and himself into the guardrail! He follows up with a snap suplex on the outside before going into the ring the break the count. He heads back out and goes for a suplex but drops Brittany ribs first onto the guardrail. He makes the cover but Brittany kicks out at two, causing Kory to chuckle and shake his head. Kory pulls Brittany to her feet and sends her into the far ropes, she bounds back and Kory lifts her up, looking for something big Brittany holds on and reverses it into a guillotine! She locks her legs around Kory and pulls back on his head and neck. Kory fights the hold but Brittany has it locked in deep, yelling out with each pull on his neck! Kory starts to punch and hammer on Brittany’s ribs as best as he can to break the submission but she hangs on tight. Kory is struggling towards the ropes but suddenly the bell is rung! The time limit has run out and it’s officially a draw! Brittany lets go of Kory and the two look around in shock and disappointment. Brit sighs before offering a hand to Kory and the two shake hands and give each other a nod of respect. WINNER: // BY: Time Limit Draw, 12:00 |

Bo Fontenot brings her hand up, going to meet Dannicka's, but she rears back and slaps Aparicio across the face! The slap turns Aparicio around and Fontenot gets a waist lock on her, but Dannicka recovers quickly enough to start throwing some elbows back into Bo's face to break free. Dannicka turns around, throwing forearms now, and she gets Bo into a headlock. Fontenot backs Aparicio into the ropes, getting free as she sends Dannicka across the ring, but it's countered and Bo goes across the ring instead, catching Aparicio with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. But Aparicio kips up to her feet! Dannicka goes for a kick at Bo on the mat, but Fontenot ducks it and rolls Aparicio up from behind, pulling her tights for some leverage! She gets a two count but despite the extra help, Bo can't secure the three on Dannicka, and Aparicio is able to roll back onto Fontenot for a two count. As they get up, Dannicka goes for a clothesline, but Bo goes underneath it, getting Aparicio in another waist lock, and meeting the same result as last time as Fontenot is drilled with elbows to the side of the head. Aparicio throws Fontenot into the ropes, but Bo catches herself, springboarding backwards with a back elbow to take Dannicka down! As Fontenot gets up, she starts to stomp onto the back of Aparicio's head, showing her opponent the utmost disrespect before lifting her up, and slamming Dannicka face first into the top turnbuckle rung. Bo sends Dannicka into the opposite corner and charges in with a running forearm strike. She backs up, looking for another one, but Dannicka is right on Bo's tail and Aparicio throws her own forearm that stuns Fontenot. Aparicio rolls to the outside, pulling Fontenot down from the corner, and slamming her left leg right into the ring post! As Fontenot falls outside, Aparicio lifts her up for a vertical suplex right onto the outside floor! Dannicka gets back up, targeting that left leg of Bo's by stomping right onto it in an attempt to limit her high flying arsenal. As the referee's count gets near a ten, Dannicka rolls her opponent into the ring, and starts to twist Bo's ankle before placing it down and driving both of her knees into that leg. She lifts Bo up, hitting a snapmare before hitting the ropes, and connecting with a big front dropkick. Aparicio pushes Fontenot down for a pin but she only gets a two count as Bo kicks out. Dannicka goes to lift Bo up, but gets raked in the eyes instead! Using the ropes to assist her, Bo grabs hold of Dannicka for a tornado DDT! Bo looks to go for a pin but Aparicio was playing possum and she gets Bo with a roll up! The pin almost reaches three but Bo manages to kick out before three. Dannicka goes to pick Bo up but she hits Aparicio with a schoolboy, managing to keep her down for the three count and the win. WINNER: Bo Fontenot BY: Pinfall (Schoolboy Pin), 9:58 |

Invictus Rules
Smoke VS Jordan AyersInvictus Rules
For Smoke, this was the second match under the Invictus rules, the first one for his opponent whose wrestling style seems to be a perfect fit for the division. First Round: The initial studying phase didn’t last long, with Jordan striking first with his swift kicks. The first two landed, hitting the ribs of the opponent while the third one was caught by the british who took the young rookie down with a dragon screw. The hyper aggressive side of Smoke showed as he took it on the grounded opponent, kicking him while he was down. Ayers rolled away and pulled himself up, countering with a jumping knee at the charging opponent, stopping him dead on his tracks. He then connected a series of palm strikes and kicks, before knocking him down with a spinning heel kick. Smoke quickly got up and charged at the opponent, tackling him down with a Lou Thesz Press and hammering him with rights and lefts on the face, one of which busted Jordan’s nose. The young rookie cleaned up the blood dripping and kicked Smoke in the stomach, doubling him over and connecting running ddt and transitioning into an Anaconda Vise, trying to submit the opponent who managed to escape. As Jordan tried to pick him up, Smoke hit him with a punch to the gut, trying to build some offense and stopping as the bell sounded, signaling the end of the first round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Ayers 10-9 Dyson: Ayers 10-9 Valero: Ayers 10-9 Second Round After the adverse decision, Smoke entered round 2 seemingly way more focused,, catching the opponent with the Puncture Wound (Full Nelson Backbreaker) after ducking a clothesline right off the bat. He dropped the knee on his lower back a few times, picking him up and tossing him violently in the corner. He closed in, eating the boot of the opponent how then lifted himself to the second rope and leaped to him with a crossbody taking Smoke down. The british rolled through, lifting Ayers and dropping him on his knee with a backbreaker. After adding more punishment to the back and shoulders of Jordan, he applied his patented version of the Regal Stretch called Take Your Heart obtaining the submission win. WINNER: Smoke BY: Submission (Take Your Heart), Round 2; 2:39 |

Adam Webb VS JL FontenotJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group F
The two competitors square up in the middle of the ring. They lock up with JL coming out on top, forcing Adam Webb to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Adam is quick to break free of JL's grip and he stands back up, only to meet JL's outstretch foot with a big boot. On the mat, Adam holds his face and rolls to her side. JL drops to his knees, forcing Adam to his back as he goes for a pin but Adam kicks out after two. JL quickly gets back on the attack, scoring a harsh kick to Adam's back as he tries to stand. He pulls Adam to his feet and nails him with a couple of punches, forcing him into the corner. Taking a few steps back, JL smashes Adam with a clothesline into the corner. Fontenot then taunts the crowd and they boo him. He charges again, but Adam dodges out of the way. JL collides into the turnbuckle and drops to one knee, holding his chest from the impact. Adam meanwhile stands at the ropes, taking a second to catch his breath. JL gets back up but Adam catches him with a pair of hard right hands. A third sent JL up against the ropes. Adam charges in, scoring a clothesline that sends both competitors to the outside of the ring. Adam gets back to his feet first, pausing to gather himself as JL crawls toward the ring steps. Adam motions towards JL, grabbing the back of JL's head and forces him chest first into the barricade around the ring. Adam then pushes JL back into the ring. He gets in as well before picking JL up and dropping him with a DDT. Adam then steps back in the corner and waits for JL to get to his feet. Once he gets up to his knees, Adam charges and he nails Fontenot with a brutal shining wizard. Adam goes for the pin but Webb is only able to keep JL down for the two count. Webb steps back and waits for JL to rise again, stalking over him some more. When he does he charges in but JL pulls the referee in front of him, causing Webb to stop in his tracks. JL uses this distraction to roll Adam up, all the while grabbing his tights. The referee, still shaken up from almost eating a knee, doesn’t notice JL holding Adam’s tights as he makes the count to three, giving Fontenot the victory. WINNER: JL Fontenot BY: Pinfall (Roll Up), 11:21 |
The scene cuts backstage to Corey Grimes talking to one of the backstage workers, being his always friendly self. Corey then finishes up the convo and looks toward the camera with a smile.
Corey Grimes:
Hey! Happy to see y’all here, because I definitely have something to say. Tonight? I go up against Kymmy Oliver. Clearly, she is quite serious about this match but I’m not sure if she’s as serious about me though. She thinks I might be some kind of push over or something but there’s no way I’m that.
Corey shakes his head.
Corey Grimes:
No fucking way. I’m the toughest out in this damn match. I’m the guy to beat and I’d even say I’m the favorite. You can call it cocky all you want but the fact of the matter is? It’s confidence. Because when you look back at my career thus far, you know that I’m one of the best when it comes to a marathon and surviving. This tournament? It’s not a sprint, it’s a damn marathon and I’m more prepared for it than anyone else. And that’s not me trying to crap on anyone else, because I know how damn good the field is in this thing.
He steps towards the camera, peering into it.
Corey Grimes:
But I know just how damned good I am and what I bring to the table. I know how much I want to win this match, I know how much I want to win this tournament and most of all? The Junior Heavyweight Championship. This means so much to me and you all are going to see it tonight, when I pin Kymmy Oliver’s shoulders to the mat for the 1...2...3!
Corey holds up three fingers before he walks away from the scene and it cuts away.

The camera cuts to the inside of a locker room that is decorated with balloons and a table that’s filled with various presents of all sizes beautifully gift wrapped. In the middle of the table proudly sits Liv Mercer’s Riot championship belt. The camera pans back slightly to reveal the large banner hanging above the table which announces that all of this is for Liv’s birthday.
Liv Mercer:
Oz! You really shouldn’t have!
Liv herself walks into the camera’s view with a big smile on her face as she takes in the sight of all of the presents. Liv is dressed in a pair of faded denim jeans with a hole ripped through her left knee and a sheer navy blue blouse with a pair of black Doc Marten style boots. She is also wearing one of Oz’s black leather jackets over it to complete her look as she turns around to wrap her arms around her boyfriend to give him a big hug to fully show her appreciation.
Liv Mercer:
My birthday isn’t until tomorrow, remember?
Oz Dalton:
I know that, but you still deserve a little something special for tonight.
Oz is quick to return her embrace by wrapping his own arms around his girlfriend before they exchange a kiss so that Liv can properly show him her gratitude. Liv pulls away from Oz before she takes both of her hands and places them on each side of his face with a giggle.
Liv Mercer:
You always go above and beyond for me.
Liv sticks her tongue out in a playful manner before she pulls her hands away from Oz’s face and turns back around so that she can get a better look at all of the gifts on the table. Liv claps her hands together to show her clear excitement as she picks up her Riot championship belt with both of her hands before placing it over her left shoulder.
Liv Mercer:
I won’t open any of these until AFTER Zakari and I beat The Might Now Thrive in the ring tonight. It might be our first time teaming together, but I just KNOW that we’re going to go out there and stomp all over those two as I continue to dominate all over The Liv Show.
As she is speaking, Liv is using one of her hands to rub over the front of her Riot championship belt, turning back around to look at Oz who is smiling at her with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
Liv Mercer:
I mean, look at what I did to Gabriel Hooke, he seriously thought that he stood a chance at taking away MY Riot championship belt. Hopefully now he can continue to quietly fade away into the background so that he no longer takes up precious air time on The Liv Show. I don’t need him to take away from the true talent that myself and Zakari possess, you know? She’s been passed over far too many times so that Gabe and others can get beaten in the ring. At least tonight I’ll be able to help her get some of that shine that she deserves.
There is a sincere tone in Liv’s voice as she is speaking. She takes a few steps closer to where Oz is standing as she tosses her long blonde hair over her shoulder, gently place her hand on one of his arms with a smile on her face.
Liv Mercer:
Another win on my record is the perfect birthday present to myself. After that? You and I can kick off my pre-birthday celebration with proper style and flair.
Oz Dalton:
There are still other surprises left…
Oz allows for those final words to linger in order to properly catch Liv’s attention as her eyes widen slightly. She bites down on her bottom lip with slight excitement before shifting her Riot championship belt up higher upon her shoulder.
Liv Mercer:
Victory first… surprises after…
Liv nods her head to strengthen her resolve before she hands Oz her Riot championship belt so that she can start changing into her ring gear to get ready for her tag team match.

Tag Team Match
The Might Now Thrive VS Liv Mercer & Zakari Wiley
Liv and Zakari seemed to be getting along last week when La Sombra Negro asked to be the guest commentator in Liv’s first title defense, but the question everyone is asking is, would they be able to coexist and work together against a talented team such as The Mighty Now Thrive who might have met some difficulties lately, but can never be really counted out, relying on the great chemistry between its members. Null and Zakari started things off for the respective teams, meeting in the center of the ring where the wolf boy immediately went for a side headlock. Zakari recoiled back to the ropes, from where she pushed Null to the opposite side of the ring. She dropped down when he first rebounded back, going for a leapfrog as he came back a second time. Null saw that coming and hit her with a dropkick, turning to his team partner and to the fans tapping his temple with his index, reminding them that he’s a smart wolf. When he went to pick Zakari up, she locked up with me and pushed him back in the corner where Kid Terra took the tag and entered the ring immediately kicking Miss Machiavellian in the ribs, lifting and dropping her with a suplex. With quick tags, TMNT were isolating Wiley, wearing her down while keeping themselves always fresh. After a lightning quick combination of kicks and elbows, Kid lifted Zakari and dropped her on the mat with a powerslam, walking to his corner where the tag was made. Null climbed on the top rope and, with the help of KT who launched him, landed on Zakari with a splash, making the cover for a count of two. Wiley needed an opening, and she found it when she slipped away from the suplex attempt of her opponent and pushed him against the corner, quickly turning around and trying to reach Liv. The Terranova Rockstar, who took the tag when Null crashed in the corner, stopped her with a waistlock, dropping on her back with a snap german suplex. Zakari landed on her feet and tripped him with a drop toe hold. Another tag, with Null entering back in the ring, finding Zakari waiting for him with a kick to the stomach, dropping him on his head with a piledriver. This bought her enough time to make the tag allowing the Riot Champion to enter the match. Liv charged in with a shining wizard, taking down Null who was only just now starting to get up. She even taunted Kid Terra who decided to step in, walking into a roundhouse kick by the champion. Mercer was on fire tonight, her arsenal of offense on full display as she dominated the wolfboy, keeping the high flier down with a combination of throws and submission moves, getting close to the win with a bridging northern lights suplex that required Kid Terra intervention to save the match for his team. Liv and Zakari started showing some chemistry as well when, after her straight jacket neckbreaker slam, Liv tagged her partner back in and they picked up Null for a backbreaker, while Wiley jumped off the top rope with an elbow drop. Things changed when Null managed to make the tag after countering a springboard crossbody with a superkick, and crawling toward his corner. Kid Terra jumped into the ring and ran to the opposite corner, dropping Liv off the apron with a dropkick and sending her crashing against her boyfriend and Manager Oz Dalton. He then picked up Zakary and nailed her with a spinning fisherman buster, getting another near fall. After the kick out, the Black Shadow got away from KT with a jawbreaker, rushing to her corner only to find out the Riot Champion wasn’t there, still checking on her boyfriend who got hurt a couple of minutes before. She called her name, finally getting her attention back to the in ring action, right when Kid Terra hooked Zakari arms with his and bent forward, pinning her shoulders to the mat with a backslide for three seconds, scoring the win for his team. WINNER: The Mighty Now Thrive BY: Pinfall (Backslide Pin), 11:47 |
BUT WAIT! The idiocy of Skull Kid 2 isn’t over yet! I’m sure all of you are letting out a heavy sigh of relief over that one. Skull Kid 2 is running around backstage in what must be an attempt to sneak around.
I say what must be an attempt because he looks like a turkey with its head cut off. Minus the whole squirting blood out of his neck stump thing. He still has a skull. If only he had a brain to go along with it.
Skull Kid 2 along his sneaking keeps stopping periodically to slap up posters on the walls and on equipment. Oh boy, they’re posters with a picture of a pig and a picture of Specter. For keen minded readers you likely know where this is going as much as you knew who the Winter Soldier was the moment he walked on screen.
Skull Kid 2 continues to slink around like he’s the Pink Panther. But I think that’s all we really needed to see.

Spectre VS Skull Kid 2Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group A
Skull Kid 2 had been impressive so far in this tournament, finding himself on the lead in group A, which is not something you’d take for granted from a tag team specialist. One more obstacle was on his way in the form of Spectre, the master of the Die Fly style accompanied to the ring tonight by his manager Jake Archer. Spectre’s hopes to qualify are hanging on a thin thread; not only he needs to beat Skull Kid 2 tonight, and do it quickly. But he also must hope that next week’s match between Olivia Wythe and Aella Foley would end in a draw. The two competitors met in the center of the ring, with Spectre raising his hand to start a match with a lock up, but Skull Kid had other plans. Yelling “Smash And Bash” he kicked Spectre in the stomach and tossed him around with a Snap Overhead Belly To Belly suplex. As soon as Spectre got back up, the goblin child leaped at him for a headscissors takedown which sent the opponent rolling under the bottom rope and outside the ring. The fans started getting louder as Skull Kid looked at Spectre and took a run at the ropes, diving to the outside and on the opponent with a tope con hilo The fight went back inside the ropes where SK2, counting on the full support of the Nevada fans, was dominating the opponent who didn’t seem able to build any sort of momentum. With a John Woo Dropkick the Gremlin sent Spectre in the corner, charging at him with a jumping knee and grabbed him by the back of the head driving him face first to the mat with a bulldog. He followed with a pinfall attempt, only getting a count of two out of it. After a couple of chops, Skull Kid went for a lariat, ducked by Spectre with a matrix style movement. The californian followed up with a roundhouse kick, changing the course of this match. He began building some momentum with a series of forearm smash and kicks, sliding behind Skull Kid’s back and lifting him for a german suplex, connecting with a superkick as he rolled through into a seated position and finishing the sequence he calls Click Click Boom with a shining punch. All this was still not enough to keep the opponent down. As the minutes passed by, Spectre knew that his chances to qualify were starting to fade away. This lead him to rush things, and eventually make a mistake when his Die Fly (Double Jump Phoenix Splash) attempt found nobody home. Skull Kid tried to capitalize with an Oklahoma Roll, but the referee stopped at two when Spectre kicked out. The fans started chanting “Smash And Bash” to push Skull Kid 2 in his last effort toward what would be a deserved qualification to the final, erupting in cheers after he connected with a sitout pop up powerbomb and headed to the corner, thinking to seal the deal with a top rope moonsault. That’s when he saw Jake Archer stealing the bat he carried to the ring, providing the distraction his client needed to pin him with an O’Connor Roll. Skull Kid 2 kicked out, but Spectre quickly grabbed his hands and drove his knee to his face for a Near Death Experience (Kamigoye), walking out with a win that left the fans who wanted to see Skull Kid succeed disappointed. WINNER: Spectre BY: Pinfall (Near Death Experience), 11:01 |
Rachel Carpenter:
So, I didn’t kick off this Junior Heavyweight tournament quite the way that I wanted…
The sound of Rachel Carpenter’s voice cuts through the empty hallway as the camera opens up on the backstage area. Rachel is standing there, leaning up against the wall, dressed in her ring gear as she pushes her hands up against the wall to give herself some extra support.
Rachel Carpenter:
Corey Grimes went out there and gave me one hell of a fight and he was able to walk away with the victory in the end. I don’t feel any shame when I think back on that match because I made sure he earned every little bit of that victory against me. I learned a lot from it and I’m hoping to be able to use what I learned here tonight against Levi.
Rachel’s blue eyes remain focused upon the camera as she clears her throat slightly. The serious expression upon her face is not the usual one worn by the bubbly blonde. It was clear that the importance of this tournament was weighing heavily upon her as she begins to shift her weight from foot to foot as she finally pushes herself away from the wall.
Rachel Carpenter:
For her match Levi took her opponent all the way to the time limit draw so that tells me exactly what kind of a girl she’s going to be inside of the ring. She’s going to be another tough opponent for me and she’s also going to be looking for her first win this tournament. There’s a lot at stake for both myself and Levi. So which one of us is going to be able to push ourselves to the limit enough to earn that important victory to keep us alive in this tournament?
There is a slight pause as Rachel looks down towards the floor before she brings her focus back to the lens of the camera.
Rachel Carpenter:
We have a lot in common heading into this match Levi. We both want a win, we both want to prove ourselves, and we’re both very eager to push ourselves to the next level in what is the beginning of each of our careers. For all of that, I’m not going to write you off, or sell you short by any means. I see a girl with all of the ambitions that I share and that means you might be an even bigger fight for me than Corey Grimes was. We both know how that ended and I’m not eager for a repeat performance when it comes to the outcome of this match here tonight.
Rachel takes a slow deep breath before she allows for the beginning of a smile to form on her face. A sense of something familiar for herself and those watching.
Rachel Carpenter:
I signed up for this Junior Heavyweight tournament because I wanted to take a chance with my career, I wanted to step away from the comfort zone, and I wanted to test myself against some new competition to see if I would be able to handle it. So far I don’t have any regrets and I don’t believe that I’m about to start having them tonight. I look forward to seeing what you can do against me Levi because I know you want that win. If it was any other opponent for you out there, I would want for you to have that win as well, but I have to be the one to stop it from happening. I’m turning my luck around in this tournament.
Rachel nods her head after her final statement, feeling that determination growing, and she offers the camera a quick little wave before turning around to walk further down the hall. The camera following her movements until the scene cuts away.

Levi VS Rachel CarpenterJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group B
Both competitors needed a win tonight to keep their dreams alive. Rachel Carpenter and Levi met in the center of the ring and started this match with a handshake before locking up in the center of the ring. Levi tried for a quick win with a small package, Rachel kicked out and went for a lariat, ducked by the Baby K who went for another pinfall attempt, this time with a backslide. Once again the Southside talent escaped the predicament, grabbing both Levi’s legs and taking her down, flipping over into a jackknife cover. The 21 years old from San Antonio raised her shoulders and stood up, but before she could even realize she found herself with her shoulders down after a crucifix pin. A shotgun dropkick sent Levi to the corner, where Rachel hit her with a back kick and flipped her over with a snapmare, following with a kick to the back and, after gaining momentum rebonding from the ropes, a shining wizard. Carpenter thought this could be enough but Levi raised her shoulder once again. The blonde stayed on the attack with a series of kicks, before sending Baby K against the corner once again and charging at her, jumping with both knees to the face. Levi was down in the corner, and Rachel once again took a run at her, going for a cannonball this time with Levi moving out of the way. Grabbing her by the leg, she pulled her out of the corner, pushing the leg and spinning her around as she got up, immediately going for a released belly to back suplex. Rachel rolled out of the ring, but nowhere is safe with Levi, who dove on her with her KND (suicide dive). Eight minute into the match and Carpenter was once again in control, almost getting a three count out of her In The Six (Snapmare Driver). She went then for her finisher, the standing moonsault double knee drop known as Carpen-Flip, once again missing the target as Levi rolled to her right and quickly pulled herself up, kicking the chest of the kneeling opponent and following with a hurricanrana driver. She then climbed to the top rope for an elbow drop, hooking the leg for a cover. Rachel kicked out in two, reaching the corner and pulling herself up. Levi charged at her with a clothesline, picking up the stunned opponent and sitting her on the top rope, lifting her for the Pinky And The Brainbuster. The Empire Extreme Champion Sephora Eastwick jumped the barricade and approached the ring, staring at Levi intensely. Baby K assumed a defensive stance, ready to protect herself from the attack but the Belle Of The Boulevard had something else in mind. She pulled Carpenter out of the ring by the leg and punched her straight on the face. The referee called for the DQ. WINNER: Rachel Carpenter BY: DQ, 9:21 |

ETHAN GILES:
My opponent this week is a man named Zafar Khan. A young man from Brooklyn, New York. New York is a state alllll the way over in America, on the country’s east coast. He first made his mark five months ago and in that time he’s only risen further in prominence in the wrestling industry. Though he is youthful and relatively inexperienced, he has been on the fast track to becoming not only a fairly popular wrestler, but a successful one.

Ethan takes a second to pause.
ETHAN GILES:
The trait above all others that people have been taken with with Zafar isn’t his exceptional physical capabilities or his remarkable in-ring talent. No, as loved as he is becoming for these attributes it’s his heart that has earned him the most support and recognition. His determination to continue reaching for the stars, his refusal to let anyone stop him from achieving his goals in life. No matter how hard he’s knocked down, he keeps getting back up.

A camera pan shows Joseph Giles and Luigi Giles sitting at a table on the set, arm wrestling with one another.
ETHAN GILES:

Ethan walks over to his cousins, stopping shy of them and the table.
ETHAN GILES:
There will always be those that will be critical of you, or hope to tear you down in your attempts to achieve your dreams in hopes they can achieve their own. It’s these people you have to watch out for and keep a mindful eye on. They may not necessarily do it out of malicious intent, but it is still a concern and it can still negatively affect you. It’s when dealing with these people it’s good to remember why you are doing what you are doing, remember your passion and use it to fuel your drive.

Ethan glances over at his cousins, Luigi struggling against the bigger Joseph in their arm wrestling match.
ETHAN GILES:
Though there will be times when pure determination alone will not be enough, charging on head long runs the risk of turning that determination into stubbornness. On occasion, it’s okay to take critical feedback from your friends and loved ones if they think you need to regroup and rethink your approach. You must never be set in stone, instead flow freely like a stream of water, adapting to whatever may come your way along the path to your goal. Because the funny thing about stone, my friends, is that...

Luigi grits his teeth and tries to match brute force with Joseph. It isn’t working though. His hand slowly lowering to the table.
ETHAN GILES:
It can break.

Down goes Luigi’s hand, pinned against the table. Joseph stands up and celebrates his victory, Luigi holding his hand close to him and rubbing it.
ETHAN GILES:
Zafar Khan is most resolved to bring about the change he wants to see in the world and in wrestling, to be that change and that is very admirable. I really do commend him for the goal, as I do think very highly of him and I do like him as a person. I only fear the unneeded stress and pressure he’s placing so much on himself it seems in the lead-up to our match may be detrimental to him in the long run. I would hate to see him suffer any unnecessary anguish from this tunnel vision, rather I would like us to focus on simply trying our best’s out there in our match.

Respect. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think about these two competitors. Respect for the opponent and for the rules, respect for the fans who were loud as ever for the headline match between two of their favorites. The bell rang and hands were shaken, the match was underway and it was Ethan who landed the first move, an arm drag that bought Zafar to the mat. Giles kept him grounded with an armbar, but Khan wrestled his way out of the submission and stood up in front of the gentle grappler, shaking some feeling back in his arm and smiling at the opponent. They spun around in circles, looking for an opening until Zafar went for an arm drag of his own, rolling Ethan on his shoulder with an innovative pinning predicament from which the masked wrestler eventually kicked out. The fans were treated to an extremely quick paced match, the first part of which saw a seemingly endless sequence of pinfalls and reversals, with the referee having a hard time keeping up with all those pinfalls. Zafar put an end to it with a Pele kick out of nowhere, to which he followed with a standing moonsault. Ethan lifted his shoulder to break another pinfall, countering Zafar's powerbomb attempt with a hurricanrana. Khan gave another display of his agility kipping up to his feet and charging in. Ethan hugged him and went for a belly to belly suplex, kicking Zafar out of the ring with a dropkick. The fans were calling for it, clapping their hands rhytmically and inviting Ethan to delight them with a high risk maneuver to the outside. And being the. Gentlemen he is, Giles decided to oblige, hitting toward the ropes on the opposite side to gain some speed. But Zafar slid back in the ring tossing Ethan over his head with a back body drop. A Blue Thunder Bomb almost gave Zafar the win, Giles got close as well with his Gilesplex (slow vertical suplex with a bridging pin). Back and forth they went, Ethan whipped the opponent against the ropes and went for a big booth, avoided by Zafar who slid under the kick and grabbed the Gentle Grappler’s leg, dropping him[ on his face. Ethan was getting up, standing now on all fours when Khan hit him with a low dropkick to the side of the head, attempting another cover with a lateral press for a count of two. He climbed to the top rope, trying to put him away with a diving double foot stomp dodged by Giles. Zafar rolled through, getting back to his feet and turning around into a middle kick from Ethan, who hooked the leg and went for an exploder suplex. He charged in, hitting the ropes and going for his finisher Around The World (La Quackica) but Zafar had it scouted, stopping his momentum as he was spinning and countered it with a side slam. Exhausted, he laid on top of Ethan and hooked the leg. hoping this would be enough to beat the Gentlest Man. But that wasn’t the case, as Giles kicked out showing he still had some left in the tank. What wasn’t left was enough time for them to keep fighting this great match that ended the same way it started, with a handshake at the end of the 12 minutes time limit. Things open somewhere backstage with Melissa Reeves standing beside a television monitor. The screen shows a looping replay of the end of last week's match. As for Melissa herself, sh's already ready for her match and holds her baseball bat at her side. From the look of her face, she's not in the best of moods.
Melissa Reeves:
It's been quite the week, let me tell you. Knocked out of the Cult Classic to a girl I can, at best, describe as fortunate - not that Millennium care, they never showed any support for me there, even as they kiss the ass of other roster members. What, I'm not good enough to care about? I'm only one of the most decorated people here, the bitch that beat the owner off her high horse...but sure, keep ignoring me, let's see what happens.
She throws both arms up, swinging the bat as she moves, and shrugs. She half turns and swings the bat, destroying the monitor and sending its broken corpse skidding along the floor.
Melissa Reeves:
Then, of course, I got screwed over in Millennium when that dumbass Franky got himself disqualified against me - all thanks to Charlotte and her sandy vag. Speaking of sandy, out comes GvB to try and get inside my head, giving me a match with Chris?
She shakes her head, unimpressed.
Melissa Reeves:
Is that supposed to, what, put me off my game? You actually think this will work? It's weak. It's a weak as hell tactic to get under my skin.
Reeves laughs. She shakes her head again and rolls her eyes.
Melissa Reeves:
But, you know, the egrigious thing here is that you knuckle heads actually think it'll split Chris and I up? I appreciate you've half a brain cell between you, but even by your own low standards this is a very bad plot to try and force a break.
She shrugs.
Melissa Reeves:
It's not like I expected anything good from Grace or Charlotte, but come on...you could at least TRY and not be disappointing. No?
Taking a second to gather her thoughts, Reeve swings the bat in a circle at her side.
Melissa Reeves:
All in all, my message this week is short and simple...
She moves closer to the camera.
Melissa Reeves:
Fuck Frankie Harris, fuck Charlotte Webster, fuck Grace van Beek and fuck any idiot who thinks they can screw me around.
Snarling a little, she holds the bat in view, then jabs it into the camera to send it tumbling backward, fading the scene to black.

Tag Team Match
Melissa Reeves & Cass Baumer VS Franky Harris & Charlotte Webster
After weeks of interferences and post match assaults, Yulia Kirilenko had had enough of Charlotte Webster using Franky Harris to try to please Grace van Beek and fulfill her agenda. Hence why she booked her in what could be seen as a handicap match, despite Charlotte herself having a brief experience as a wrestler. Not that this seemed to worry Franky too much, with the big man taking both opponents down with a double clothesline, deciding for them who should start the match when he lifted Melissa Reeves and pushed her in the corner, throwing Cass out of the ring unceremoniously before turning his attention back to the Reaver, driving his massive shoulder into her midsection. She tried to fight back dropping some forearm to his back, but it didn’t seem to be very effective. Harris didn’t slow down, connecting two overhand chops before putting her head between his legs and dropping her down with a ring shaking powerbomb. In the meantime, Baumer took the tag and was now perching on top of the turnbuckle waiting for him to turn around. Charlotte from outside was guiding her client, warning him about Cass intentions and allowing him to catch her in mid air as she dove towards him with a crossbody. He paced the ring for a while, still carrying the opponent and contemplating what to do with her, opting eventually for a fall away slam. Cass was in the corner, an easy target for The Beef who charged full head of steam with a splash. Despite their bigger experience, Cass and Mel seemed to be no match tonight for the three hundred pounder, who was disposing of both of them with his combination of direct strikes and power moves. Or at least, they weren’t singularly. It was only after they started working together that they managed to stop the big man slow and steady offense. With a series of kicks to the legs they managed to chop him down, forcing him on his knees and connecting with a double superkick after. Baumer made the cover but Franky kicked out with authority in one. That was the way Mel and Cass had to go if they wanted to win this match, taking the big man out of the equation. Baumer tried to do exactly that, Harris legs were the obvious target of her kicks to keep Franky at bay and create herself the opening for a snap ddt. She made the tag allowing Melissa to get back into the ring. The two women looked at each other and decided to try lifting The Beef for a suplex, but their combined effort was unsuccessful. Instead, they soon found themselves upside down as Franky lifted them both and dropped her down on their back. Harris was back in control, stunning the former liberty champion with big right hand and hitting the ropes to gain some speed and drive his head to her chest with a running headbutt. He dropped into a cover, Cass rushed in to make the save, kicking the big man on the back. Franky stood up shook his head, grabbing Cass by the throat. Reeves went with a forearm to the jaw, but this didn’t seem to shake Harris too much. He wrapped his hand around Mel’s neck as well, having both women now in position for a double chokeslam. And he lifted them, but before he could drop them on their backs, they simultaneously kicked him in the guts, forcing him to release them. With The Beef now doubled over, Mel and Cass went for a second double suplex attempt, this time successfully lifting Harris. He got up almost immediately, seeing the two women charging at him and going for a double dropkick that sent him in his corner. The referee called the for the tag as Charlotte’s hand touched her client’s back. A wicked grin appeared on the Reaver’s face as she caught Franky with the Facial Deconstructor after he rebounded back from the impact against the corner. Baumer charged at Franky and nailed him with the Fact Check (running shiranui). The Beef rolled out of the ring and Cass launched herself through the ropes with a suicide dive, wiping him out and leaving her partner to deal with Charlotte. Webster took a deep breath and found the courage to step into the ring against the former Liberty Pro champion. And for a minute, she even landed a series of forearm strikes that opened the way to a snap suplex. But it was just a flash in the pan, Reeves quickly regained control with a floatover ddt, waiting for Charlotte to get up and finally getting the payback she had been craving for weeks now. Low kicks, mid kicks and vicious elbows strikes to the jaw, Mel wasn’t holding back at all, dropping Webster down with a scoop slam and climbing to the top rope connecting with the Death From Above (Shooting Star Press). This was it, or at least that’s what everyone thought. But Charlotte still raised her shoulder, showing, if anything, some fighting spirit, She stood up and surprised Reeves with a headbutt, following with some right hands. Mel stopped her offense with a knee to the stomach, grabbing her by the wrist and sending her against the ropes, connecting the Facial Deconstructor as she rebounded back, picking up the win. WINNER: Melissa Reeves & Cass Baumer BY: Pinfall (Facial Deconstructor), 15:19 |
The match was now over, Cass joined her tag team partner in the middle of the ring for the celebration. Moments later, Franky stepped in as well. Baumer and Reeves turned to him, totally expecting The Beef to attack them, but he didn’t. He simply picked up Charlotte and walked away, carrying her backstage.
