Riot in Idaho
Live from Century Link Arena in Boise, ID
Saturday , March 2nd, 2019
The atmosphere is electric inside the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho. Almost seven thousand people are filling the place, ready to explode in a roar as "Riot" by Three Days Grace blares out of the PA system. Colored neon create a beautiful light show on the entrance stage, the Riot logo hanging over the entrance. With a quick movement the camera pans over the fans, stopping to show some signs.
"Hooke me up" "#TiddiesAndTitles" "Smash And Bash" "Cole is gonna kill you" "<-- RIP CASS" "Fear The Reaver" "Catch this Smoke"
Sitting at their desk, Alyx Valero and Zackary Dyson welcome the audience to the show.
Zackary Dyson: "Boise, are you ready to Riot?"
Alyx Valero: "I would say they are, judging by their response. Welcome to Riot in Idaho!"
Zackary Dyson: "Night two of the Junior tournament, we'll get a first look at groups D and F"
Alyx Valero: "Which reminds me... Who's gonna fight against Kory Kramp?"
Zackary Dyson: "For those of you who missed the news, Stone Hendrix had to forfeit the tournament due to a shoulder injury. And his replacement hasn't been announced yet."
Alyx Valero: "Yulia told me it's a huge name, and I'm excited to find out."
Zackary Dyson: "You'll get your anwers soon Alyx. But first, two debuts, two rookies willing to make a name for themselves in this tournament. Let's see who will come out on top in this opening contest."

Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group D
Dannicka Aparicio VS Mr BoneshakerJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group D
Dannicka Aparicio made an energetic entrance, amping the decibel level of the cheers with her lovable spirit and ear to ear smile. She warmed up in the corner as the building erupted. Tempest led Mr. Boneshaker to the ring for a loud and rowdy crowd. They stamped and slapped the barrier as they chanted. Bones offered a handshake before the bell and then, the two new faces circled the center of the ring. Opposite one another, drawn to Idaho tonight for this tournament. First step is always the hardest. The crowd was split between, “Don't Kill Dan-nic-ka!” and, “Fuck Him Up Dan-nic-ka!” chants as they closed distance in the ring. Tempest encouraged both, neither of the competitors seemed phased. It was deafening from the very start! Collar×Elbow tie up, no chance for Dannicka to block or otherwise transition, Bones simply spun her into a standing side headlock and dragged her around the ring. Completely unsure what to do, he took far too much time and she used the ropes to push him off. She dropped, he stepped over. Back up behind him and, when he returned, he slammed the brakes and brushed away a picture-perfect standing dropkick. Dannicka bounced off of the mat hard, but he scooped her up quick and pulled her too her feet before she could blink. Whipped hard to the ropes and on the return, she was damned-near tripping on her own feet, only to be leveled. Her head snapped backward before she hit the mat with a thud. Tempest was on the apron, scolding Bones for the stiff hit. Bones dropped to his knees to Dannicka's side, the referee on the other, her eyes were in the back of her skull. He looked to Tempest, she wasn't happy; to the referee, who only shrugged. Hooking the leg, he attempted to end it early, but Dannicka kicked out just after two. Several times he hesitated going for a more powerful move, once even setting up for a DDT of some variation, only to plant a knee and roll her up from behind or body slam her down and go for a lateral press. She kicked out of everything he wasn't actually hitting her with. At one point, he pulled back a vicious lariat, likely remembering the opening of the match, allowing her to seat him in the center if the ring with a springboard arm drag. She followed it up, coming off the ropes from behind with a back elbow to the back of his head before popping up and returning from the ropes ahead of him with a clothesline. Beautiful combination that scored her a very close fall. Tempest kept the crowd cheering as Bones continued to pick and peck, not really doing much damage. Meanwhile, Dannicka continued to impress, she had pretty much hit him from all sides, stinging shots as she ducked and dodged his reach. He got ahold of her and elevated her with such height she kicked her feet in mid-air before catching him on the way down. Dannickarana! And, she held him for a very close two-count. Dannicka had the crowd behind her; Hell, even her opponent's manager was cheering for her. Tempest was cheering everything, even scolding her man for being to rough. Again, when he lifted his smaller opponent completely off of the mat with a knee. As Bones and Tempest shared words, Dannicka recouped and gathered her bearings. Tempest reminded Bones his momma wouldn't be too prou… Dannicka spun Bones around and waist locked him. The Slammertime was not going to work here, she adjusted, but couldn't budge him for an exploder suplex either. When she went to transition into the Guillotine Choke, he hooked her up and took her over with the BonePlex, a fisherman buster suplex. He bridged and held for the pin. When she kicked out at the very last breath, the complexion of the match was quickly changing. They both quickly realized, they needed to end this. Now. Dannicka continued to use the ropes, corners and her size to attack from all angles while keeping from his grasp. She dove, leaped, spun and rolled as he closed his arms together, grabbed two giant handfuls of air and even dove between his own legs after her. She fouled up a few times, allowing him to catch her off the top turnbuckle and powerslam her in the center of the ring. Two-count. She sprung from the top rope directly into a breath-robbing spinebuster. Two-count. She was thrown to the corner so hard that the post left a red mark on her forehead. Two-count. She completely wore him out with two-counts. Close ones, really close ones; even arguing with the referee, Tempest and everyone in the building -- close ones. He picked her up and kept to her back, setting her up, inverted standing side headlock and up onto his shoulder. He spun around several times before he sat out in the center of the ring. Vertigo, or The Boneshaker! He's done. As the referee counted two, the bell sounded. To everyone's confusion, momentarily, the match hadn't ended. Yet, it had, as the time limit had expired. This match ended as a time-limit draw. Disappointed, the frustrations briefly showed in their faces. Both must be thinking, what the Hell does this mean? Looking at one another though, Bones raised his hand for a fist bump. The crowd was loud with excitement as they shared a mutual respect and then helped one another to their feet. So, what? Maybe they both advance, maybe neither, in this moment all they cared was for someone to have a better debut than that. Tempest even joined the celebration, heralding both. WINNER: // BY: Time Limit Draw, 12:00 |
You know those segments that feel like they exist solely to pad out the runtime of a show? Like somebody missed their cue or finished too quick and so they have to throw this at you to not mess up the pacing of the entire thing? Yeah. It’s one of those.
In the darkest section of the parking garage that looks straight out of a slasher flick, Skull Kid Two sits alone. He sits alone in almost complete darkness, given only one of the lights near him is working. Isn’t that just the way? A sad statement on the condition the world is slowly rolling towards every single day. No one present to change these lights out and keep this area looking spotless.
A poor unfortunate soul stumbles his way over to Skull Kid Two. He presents him a ziplock bag of ham like an offering to his deity. Skull Kid Two seems this acceptable and reaches into the bag next to him. In most fiction, this is the point in which this foolish boy would have something shoved into his face and meet his end. Instead he gets something almost as dire, a wrestling t-shirt.
He runs off happy and Skull Kid Two examines the bag. Not knowing what to do with it, he rips it open and starts ravenously devouring the hammy contents. Along with the bits of ripped ziplock plastic. I’m sure his stomach will thank him. It’s on this genuinely revolting sight that our segment comes to a merciful end before the audience loses their dinner.

Invictus Rules
Dean Smith VS Dakota LockardInvictus Rules
Finally cleared to compete, Dean came back tonight in what he called his division. Up against him, Dakota Lockard who has yet to find his footing in this particular type of match. Round one: Dean was out to make a statement, trying to end the match quickly with a jumping knee. Dakota found himself in the corner, where Dean hit him with a series of boxing uppercuts. The Man Of Destiny wasn’t going down without swinging, and he raised his knee catching Smith in the gut and breaking his flurry of offense. He then brought the contest to the mat with a drop toe hold after a series of headbutts, trying a submission with an indian deathlock. Dean tried to fight his way out of it with some right hands to the head of the opponent, Lockard fought back shot after shot. After a stiff right punch, he was forced to relinquish the hold. Favoring the leg, Dean stood up to his feet, Dakota started targeting that leg with a series of kicks until Smith fell on his knees, swinging his leg for a kick to the head, ducked by Dean who placed his head between the opponent’s legs, lifting him as he stood up and drove him all the way down with an electric chair driver. Perching on the top of the turnbuckle, he waited for Dakota to stand up before jumping at him with his Mean Dean (Diving Flying Knee), landing hard on his right knee after Lockard moved out of the way. Big D tried to apply a knee bar, but before he could lock it, the bell signaled the end of the first round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Smith 10-9 Dyson: Draw 10-10 Valero: Draw 10-10 Round Two In the second Round, Dakota changed his strategy, going now for Dean’s injured arm, twisting it and dropping it on his shoulder multiple times, each one of them accompanied by a scream from Dean, whose face was writhing in pain. After taking him down with an arm drag and stomping his elbow, Dakota finally applied a seating fujiwara armbar. The end seemed to be near for Dean, desperately trying to resist the urge to tap out. He eventually managed to roll through and freeing himself from the submission, but the arm was compromised already. Unable to swing with his right hand, Dean had to resort to the left, that proved to be almost as effective. After a vicious hook to the jaw, he dropped the opponent on his head with a brainbuster. A quick glance at the clock made him realize that there was only one minute left in the second round. And in his conditions, with a bad leg and an even worse arm, the chances to survive five more minutes were slim at best. He decided to go all in, trying for a second MD. This time, the high risk paid off. His knee connected with the side of Dakota’s head, knocking him out. WINNER: Dean Smith BY: KO (Mean Dean), Round 2; 4:16 |
After the commercial break, Riot returns in CenturyLink Arena to a view of the newest member of the Invictus Division, Cass Baumer, with her legs dangling over the edge of the ramp while she’s seated on the stage. With a melancholy expression before she begins to speak into the microphone in hand, the Boise, Idaho makes no secret of their mixed reaction to the former rumormonger. The Headliner shakes her head in response, smiling softly as she raises the microphone to her lips.
Cass Baumer:
I missed this, y’know that?
The comment encourages the crowd to grow in volume, which makes her smirk that much more as she shoves her free hand into one of the front zip pockets of her vivid red leather jacket. The white Melissa Reeves t-shirt underneath was now visible, despite the fact that the sides are obscured. Of course, the show of support for Cole Gregory’s girlfriend’s sister was not lost on anybody watching tonight.
Cass Baumer:
Back in Washington, I took the journey out of my comfort zone and into the Invictus Division. I did it not because I wanted the publicity, but because I wanted to see how I’d fare against some of the best athletes in not just Millennium Pro, but let’s be honest with ourselves - throughout the entirety of wrestling today!
The crowd starts to cheer the compliment Cass gives Millennium Pro, but of course, some are still skeptical of her considering Baumer’s past.
Cass Baumer:
I’m not here ‘cause I thought it’d be easy. Au contraire! I’m here at Riot ‘cause I knew it’d be hard. I knew I would be pushed to my absolute limit, and that’s exactly what Thorne did to me. I needed to see if I had what it took to keep on climbing back to my feet through it all, and that’s exactly what I did!
The audience cheers her tenacity, taking note of the effects of the busted lip Cass suffered at the hands of TNT after a jumping knee to the face during the second round of their matchup. Despite it all, Cass wears it like a badge of honor.
Cass Baumer:
I have no delusions of grandeur, though. I’m starting at the bottom here in Riot and that’s exactly how it should be. Nothing I did between the ropes before this run should be taken into account, ‘cause ultimately, none of those championships matter right here and right now. Not even the stint I had with the Cloud Gate Championship. I’d rather earn it all like I’m a rookie again - on merit this time and not ‘cause I managed to piss off the right people to get higher profile matches than I deserved.
Without an ounce of the overwhelming cockiness that she’s been known to show in the past, Cass’ blue eyes are downcast and dark until she looks to the crowd for their reaction,
Cass Baumer:
When Cole Gregory said he’s the highest standard in the Invictus Division, that ain’t posturing. It ain’t misplaced arrogance and it certainly isn’t an attempt to get some publicity either. It’s without a doubt confirmed. He’s proven it time in and time out, and he’s gonna continue to do so throughout the upcoming weeks, that’s a given.
She pushes herself upward with her open palm and stands on the stage with the microphone still in hand before she begins to speak again.
Cass Baumer:
I know what it’s like to compete in multiple matches in one night, and trust me… He undersells the effect it has on your body. It was anatomically never meant to do the things we do on a weekly basis, much less do the things Cole’s done in the Invictus Division. So when he earned it in front of all of you, he took the human body to its peak performance to get it done and now…
Baumer walks to the center of the stage, eyes aimed forward while the 5,500+ fans in attendance hanging on every word.
Cass Baumer:
Cole Gregory’s got me to deal with.
She smirks, a spark of that confidence she’s been known to show over the years.
Cass Baumer:
I’ve put the time in to train, Cole. I’ve watched all the matches you’ve ever been in since the beginning of your career on loop, Invictus rules matches included. I even went over the match I fought against TNT last week with a fine-toothed comb to see what I needed to improve on to get better in this division. I didn’t waste it shouting insults on social media, ‘cause this time can’t be like all the other times! Knowledge is power, and that power’s gonna run you the fuck over!!
Baumer shakes her head after shouting the words at the top of her lungs with passion and speaks again, much calmer than before. It’s obvious she wishes she stayed more composed by the regretful look on her face at the time.
Cass Baumer:
I respect the shit out of you, Cole. I do. You deserve to stand where you stand, not everybody will admit that. I accept whatever happens next when it’s our time to fight tonight, but I’m still selfish. I’ll always be selfish. So if the winner has to be between you or me, well… I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure it’s me who’s standing in the winner’s circle when it’s over. You can accept that, yeah?
With that, The Headliner turns around and heads through the curtain while the crowd’s mixed reaction follows her. This time, though… It’s more cheers than when she walked out onto the stage earlier.

Singles Match
Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group F
TBA VS Kory KrampJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group F
The Human Fly Kory Kramp was waiting to find out who his opponent was, after Stone Hendrix' forfait due to a shoulder injury during a training session in preparation to this tournament. Speculation had been running wild on the days prior this event, with all sort of names being dropped as the possible replacement. But no one was expecting to hear "Give Up The Ghost" by Thousand Foot Krutch to be blasting out of the loudspeakers here tonight in Boise, Idaho. Adam Webb was in the building, a huge pop welcomed the former SSW Parkcore Champion who walked down the ramp and shook hands with some fans in the front row. After the initial surprise, Kramp welcomed the challenge with a smile, walking to his corner and crouching down, waiting for the bell to ring. As soon as it did, he popped up and charged at Adam, who ducked the lariat and turned around with a frontal mid kick. Kory grabbed his foot, Adam landed on his feet with a beautiful backflip and went for a low spinning sweep kick, avoided with a jump by the [R]evo Seminole Champion who then knocked Webb down with an enziguri kick. Kory was on a roll, controlling the fast paced action. With an irish whip, he sent Adam in the corner, charging him and jumping, driving both knees to his face. Webb rolled out of the ring to reorganize his ideas, but the Human Fly didn't give him the chance, planting head first on the hard floor with a suicide dive DDT. He brought the action back inside the ring and climbed to the top rope, from where he waited for the opponent to pull himself up before diving with a crossbody. Adam kicked out in two, starting to wonder what to do to turn the situation around. A rookie mistake from Kory gave him the opportunity to start building some momentum with a series of rapid fire kicks that stunned the Seminole Champion. Webby pulled him up, immediately dropping him on his head with a brainbuster, following with a standing moonsault. Kory was now in the corner, Adam went for a splash but he found nobody home as he stepped out of the way. It was now Kramp who charged at the cornered opponent, but Adam anticipated him with an elbow smash, jumping on the middle rope and flying over his head with a moonsault. He landed on his feet, but Kory was right on the attack with a reverse side kick to the stomach, flipping him on his shoulders with a sunset flip bomb that saw the former Parkcore Champione kicking out in two and half. The fast and furios action led us to the point when Adam slid behind Kory's back and pushed him chest first against the ropes, catching him as he rebounded with a snap bridging german suplex. Kramp kicked out and got kicked on the knee as soon as stood up, the first of a series of stiff shots to the leg and side, prelude to spinning heel kick that knocked him down. After escaping the pinning predicament, Kory was on his knees trying to catch a breath, despite the opponent threateningly standing over him. Adam was pulling him up, but the Human Fly countered with some weak punches to the stomach, barely felt by Adam. Finally Webb dragged the opponent back to his feet, lifting him and dropping him on his knee with a brainbuster. He looked at the motionless opponent and then at the fans who started cheering in anticipation knowing exactly what was coming next. Adam walked out on the apron, jumping on the top rope and using it as a springboard to dive onto the opponent with a high shooting star press. He made the cover, obtaining the win and making a statement in his debut match in the Junior Heavyweight Tournament WINNER: Adam Webb BY: Pinfall (Wicked Webb), 9:29 |
The Riot locker room is often a busy place and can have unexpected visitors, teachers, and coaches even. You don’t always see a whiteboard in the background with three big key points written in chicken scratch looking handwriting, though. The camera soon catches three figures though two of them are shadowing over a third for the time being. The one in the wheel chair is Vincent Moretti, the silver fox, and he’s gesturing quite a bit with his hands. The other, Seth Iser, the man Moretti has represented for years at this point, has his arms crossed and looks more stoic but the veteran pair seem to be coaching up Cass Baumer once we finally get a view and now the cameraman can eavesdrop on the conversation in progress.
Seth Iser:
So, it’s trial by fire then…
Seth’s voice even when calm and coaching commands a certain air to it as the veteran grappler has seen everything. Moretti, a retired wrestler himself due to a back injury, has a more confident smirk etched on his face as two of the more well-known rogues the industry has seen spanning over a decade from LVCW to NEW to VoW and now as Iser is more known for IYH, FGA, and Renegade.
Cass Baumer:
Yeah. I know it’s risky, but I’ve always believed fortune favors the bold. The mindset’s gotten me this far.
The Headliner herself smirks at the two legends of their field. Seth’s face is pure poker face, not giving her an indication either way as he’s mauling over what to say next while Vincent barks up a laugh.
Vincent Moretti:
She’s like you, isn’t she? That mind frame is what I saw in you the first time we met down in Vegas.
Seth Iser:
Ambitious as all hell...not afraid to call her shot either. But what good is ambition on the dead is what you told me then because sometimes ambition can be our greatest enemy if we don’t look at the entire picture. And I say that knowing my ambition, envy and ego streaks rank as high as anybody the industry has ever seen.
A pause and now the poker face has given way to more of a frown.
Seth Iser:
...Don’t ever pass out like that again. You’ll do more damage to yourself in the long run, especially when you go in overaggressive like that.
Cass reluctantly agrees with a nod.
Cass Baumer:
Alright, alright! I know. My health is important. I’d rather live to fight another day, good call. Especially in this Invictus Division.
She glances back at Vincent.
Cass Baumer:
Is that what happened to you back in the day? You were reckless like me?
Moretti’s easier looking expression fades into something more serious.
Vincent Moretti:
Aye. That is what happened. I wasn’t the biggest person or the fastest but I compensated more than by just wanting it more and then I hurt my back and that kind of turns into that spiral that the thing that brought me to the dance the most is what lead me to an early retirement as a wrestler.
Cass Baumer:
I guess I have the right people helping me out then, huh? So I don’t make the same mistakes. So I can improve in that ring every night, whether it be in the Invictus Division or otherwise.
Vincent gives a nod and Seth uncrosses his arms and his face lightens. Cass thinks for a moment.
Cass Baumer:
I’ve been accused of not challenging myself. I’ve been referred to as one of the worst wrestlers around as far as my in-ring technique goes. But with the Invictus Division and Yamashi Promotions’ After Dark deathmatch paradise on the other side balancing it all out…
Seth Iser:
It isn’t a raw talent issue, kid. You at least have as much as I did or what Moretti had. You have it. You’ve won titles with it and with an understanding on how a certain aspect of wrestling is. But you challenging yourself or pushing yourself to be better? I get that, we all need to do that. It’s why I got that match with Shawn Fox. That doesn’t leave you in the industry even in your late thirties if you’re blessed to make it that far. But haste makes waste including being too hasty to push yourself TOO much.
A pause as Seth’s eyes narrow and Vincent is all too familiar with what’s coming next from Seth due to knowing him for years.
Seth Iser:
You rush too much. Common young wrestler mistake that takes many forms. It really shows in your footwork.
Vincent almost winces thinking about the tape on her footwork.
Vincent Moretti:
Sometimes in our desire to be the highlight, we end up becoming the forgotten light in a few years. For some people it’s stunts, for others it’s merely something as simple as rushing into something.
Cass’ eyes cast towards the floor.
Cass Baumer:
You’re absolutely right. I tried to get out of the shadows of obscurity with #BaumerReport. I tried to use social media as a replacement for actual improvement in an attempt to climb the ladder. It worked for a while, but in the end, trends fade and I became the forgotten. I didn’t reach out and get better like I should have back then.
Vincent raises his eyebrow and again Seth goes back to his poker face digesting the information.
Cass Baumer:
I’m glad I approached the two of you guys to help me out this time. It was tough as hell to swallow my pride and admit I needed it, but I did. I don’t need undeserved compliments, I need tips. I need to know the weaknesses I have so I can work around them, nullify them the best I can. And that’s what you guys give me. Cole Gregory ain’t gonna be an easy opponent, but at least I know I’ve got a chance with all the help you’ve been given me lately.
Vincent Moretti:
If it were a normal wrestling match we would’ve pegged you to have a little more of an advantage in this but...the way the division works it plays directly to his strengths. We don’t promise a victory here.
Seth Iser:
But sometimes a strength can be an Achilles heel, especially since Cole has some inexperience with straight wrestling too. That’s another thing younger wrestlers don’t fully know either. But always do it with the idea of going to something that brought you to dance begin with.
Baumer nods. She stands to her feet and examines the information scribbled on the whiteboard at the back of the locker room.
Cass Baumer:
It’ll be a tough road out there…
Seth Iser:
We’re wrestlers, there isn’t such a thing as an easy road when you think about it. But you’re ahead of many of the greenhorns in one big aspect: You’re smart enough to know that there are flaws. That’s half of the battle to putting in the work. The other half, we’ll get there in time since we can’t correct anything overnight. It takes time, effort, some experimentation, and even falling on your face in the beginning. But you will get there and when you hang the boots up or get close to that point talking to a greenhorn they won’t remember Cass Baumer of the Baumer report. They’ll remember Cass Baumer the wrestler. Now go out there and take that next step.

Invictus Rules
Cole Gregory VS Cass BaumerInvictus Rules
Ever since stepping foot in MWE, things haven’t been easy for Cass Baumer. Both her first match and tonight’s were to be contested under the Invictus Rules and, if in her debut she went one on one against one of the rising stars of the division in Tobie Nox Thorne, tonight she stepped in the ring against the champion himself, Cole Gregory. First Round The fact that Cole Gregory is one of the most dangerous strikers in MWE was no mystery, but the Invictus Champion seemed to be out here to prove a point tonight, assaulting Baumer since the start with his kicking combination. Swift and precise as always, he knocked Cass down with a spinning heel kick, charging with a superman punch as soon as the former CEO of Baumer Report made it back to her feet. It took her almost half of the first round before finally landing a move, blocking Cole’s leg and taking him down with a dragon screw. From a mounting position, she started raining down punches to Cole’s face, careful not to be caught in his triangle choke, wisely escaping as soon as he caught her arm, before he could even successfully apply the move. The two competitors locked up in the center of the ring, where Gregory sneaked behind Cass back and connected a german suplex, following up with a running knee to the corner. Finding herself against the ropes, Cass tried to defend herself from Cole’s attack, landing some punches to his ribs as well, resisting till the bell sounded signaling the end of the round. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Gregory 10-9 Dyson: Gregory 10-9 Valero: Gregory 10-9 Second Round: The judges unanimously awarded the first round to the champion, but this didn’t demoralize Cass, who noticed the champ holding his left side during the break. She started the second round with a plan, luring Gregory to another test of strength and immediately driving her knee to the ribcage. The look on Cole’s face was a mix of pain and surprise, shifting to grimace of pure pain with every blow landed by the journalist who ended her sequence with by lifting the Invictus champion and dropping him on her extended knee. Even on the mat, her offense didn’t slow down, as she reached him with a few more knee drops and kicks. That until Cole grabbed her leg and took her down, applying a kneebar from which the Headliner tried to break free, unsuccessfully. Luckily for her, the second round was almost over, and she was able to hang on long enough. Judges Scores: Kirilenko: Baumer 10-9 Dyson: Baumer 10-9 Valero: Baumer 10-9 Third Round: Limping on her right leg, Cass entered the third round against Cole who was visibly in a world of pain. It all went down to who would make the first mistake, and it happened to be Cass who, soon in the match, missed with a bicycle knee. Cole capitalized with a shin breaker, hitting her very close to the knee and quickly locked her in a heel hook. The torsional force applied on the ankle transferred the torque to the damaged knee, leaving her no choice but to tap out. WINNER: Cole Gregory BY: Submission (Heel Hook), Round 3; 1:32 |

Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group A
Olivia Wythe VS SpectreJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group A
After the loss to Aella Foley in the first match, Spectre found himself with no option but to win. Easier said than done as a win here tonight was also what Olivia Wythe was chasing, after drawing her debut match against Skull Kid 2. The master of the Dead Fly met Olivia in the middle of the ring, quicky going for a double leg takedown, hitting the ropes and leaping over her with a somersault, rolling backwards and taking Wythe down with a handstand headscissors. He charged in, Olivia countered by throwing him up in the air for a pop up powerbomb, countered into a hurricanrana right into a pin that almost caught Olivia off guard. Nonetheless the former powerlifter kicked out in two. Crouching down, he stuck out his green colored tongue. Wythe didn’t take this too kindly and charged at him, only to get dropped face first against the middle turnbuckle pad. As soon as she got up and leaned against the corner, still a bit dizzy, Spectre charged in, stepping on the second and connecting with a corner enziguri and knocking her down. In one swift motion, he jumped on the top of the turnbuckle, jumping down on her with an imploding 450 splash. Not even the beautiful Ghost To Coast was enough to keep the young woman down. It was a rough start, but Olivia weathered through it, finally getting her chance to shine when she stopped Spectre’s momentum with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. And she capitalized on it, picking Spectre up and, after a few uppercuts, tossed him against the ropes, flooring him with a big boot. She then picked him up with a Saito Suplex, closing in and grabbing him for another one as soon as he started to get up, tossing him from side to side of the ring with yet another Saito. Full head of steam, she launched herself shoulder first against the opponent, sending him crushing in the corner with a huge spear. Once again she gained speed against the ropes and went for a corner clothesline, dodged by Spectre who hit her with a hanging overhead kick, climbing back to the top rope ready to fly once again. Wythe had different plans for him though, as she pushed his leg causing him to lose equilibrium, setting him up for the rope hung flatliner that gave her a count of two. Back and forth they went, Spectre regaining control with a series of palm strikes, following with a reverse side kick that doubled Wythe. From that position, he put her once again with her shoulders on the mat with a sunset flip powerbomb, Olivia kicked out, trying to build some momentum immediately frustrated by the Archer Approved (Springboard Cutter). But neither that was enough to keep her down. Spectre then went for the Die Fly (Double Jump Phoenix Splash) but the high risk maneuver didn’t pay off, as Wythe moved out of the way. After deadlifting him with a german suplex, Olivia kicked him hard on the face with her Shining Wythezard, getting a count of two out of it. The moment he stood back up, she ran at him, grabbing his arm and nailing him with The Princess Cut, getting the first win in the tournament. WINNER: Olivia Wythe BY: Pinfall (Princess Cut), 8:33 |
Tag Team Match
Tobie Nox Thorne & Smoke VS Tiny Des & Jordan Ayers
The unlikely duo of the immensely popular Tobie Nox Thorne and the hated Smoke right off the bat at the beginning of the match show dissension between each other. Smoke aggressively shoves TNT away signaling that she was going to start this match, Tobie ignores the aggressiveness of Smoke as she wanted the team to work so they could get a win and exits to the apron. Smoke turns right around after jaw jacking with TNT that he was the star of this team and eats a forearm shot from Des that rocks him. She takes Smoke down with an arm drag and follows up with a dropkick as early on Des and Ayers were in control. TNT wasn't in no hurry to help her rude partner as both Ayers and Des double team Smoke by nailing a double dropkick. The move sends Smoke flying over to his corner where Tobie was. Smoke makes a very hard tag to TNT and yells for her to get in the ring. Tobie and Ayers lockup as the TNT uses her speed to quickly deliver a spinning heel kick that stuns the larger Ayers. She follows up with a hurricanrana that continues to stun Ayers. Smoke on the apron seeing Tobie in control screams to be tagged in. The distraction by Smoke gives Jonathan the upper hand and reverses fortunes as he catches Tobie with a palm strike that almost takes Thorne’s head off. Smoke vocalizes a loud noise of disapproval as Ayers and Des showing they were the most cohesive unit stayed in control. Smoke was showing no desire to help her partner as Des and Jordan showed that they were the better team as they kept Tobie at the disadvantage. Tobie, however, was able to counter Ayers attempt at a short arm clothesline by ducking under and hitting a desperation enziguri. She starts to make her way to the corner to tag Smoke but she shows no desperation to extend her arm out to make it. Des is able to come in and break up the tag attempt. She delivers a stomp to the neck and picks up Tobie for Destiny’s Drop but Tobie dodges it and delivers the springboard hurricaranna. Tobie was close to the corner this time and Smoke tags herself in hard. Tobie just stares at Smoke exhausted as Smoke yells for her to get into the corner. Tobie had had enough as she stares Smoke down. After a barrage of insults from Smoke, Tobie allowed Smoke to walk past her, but Tobie spins him around and superkicks her right in the face. Tobie walks away as Des goes to take advantage. She tags in Ayers and the two try to take advantage but smoke is able to move out of the way of Ayers delivering a superkick to her. He kicks Des in the face by accident sending her out of the ring. Smoke quickly hits End of the Tale on Ayers and gets the one two three. He smiles towards Tobie who despite winning didn't look too happy WINNER: Tobie Nox Thorne and Smoke BY: Pinfall (End Of The Tale), 13:27 |
Cue the scene fading in. Aella and MLC in their shared dressing room. Before both of their matches, the pair psyching themselves up between them to get ready, to soothe their nerves.
Aella Foley:
Oi. Don’t even worry about it. Kelsey Spencer’s not much more than a foil for her friend Rebecca. Don’t take her lightly, but Idon’t worry.
Marilyn Lee Cross:
I know. I just…. I’m not too too worried. I know I’m still banged up from last week, but Kelsey and Rebecca have been dealing with some weirdo in a mask for a while now. It’s just physical pain vs. mental mind games, and I can push through when I need to. Hell, you saw it the last two days.
Aella paused, raising her brows for a moment, as if she was going to say something before she stopped herself. Fuck it. She said it anyways.
Aella Foley:
I saw you lose matches you had no business losing because you were tired and overworked, that's what I saw.
Oof. Marilyn paused, looking back at her with a eyebrow raised.
Marilyn Lee Cross:
This, huh? So we're just not gonna mention how I finished strong. Cool.
Nodding to herself, she tosses her hoodie to the side before looking back.
Marilyn Lee Cross:
Look, I get it. I shouldn't have taken so many matches so soon. That's what led to me losing to Nova, and I'm sure it didn't help walking into an 8 person scramble and expecting things to go smoothly. I should've Iwaited, or talked it over with you. I'm sorry.
Sighing softly, Marolyn reaches out to place a hand on Aella’s shoulder, the other woman clutching the hand that rested there, frowning.
Marilyn Lee Cross:
I just… I feel like I needed to prove that I could do this, you know? Maybe it's overcompensating for things or just me being stubborn, but I feel like doing this was good for me. It shows that I can push myself and finish strong. It might sound stupid, but… it makes sense to me. You know?
Aella Foley:
Aye, maybe so, but the idea of losing you hurts me more than I can say, and watching you run into the fire without looking makes me wanna strangle you for it.
Leaning in, she put her forehead briefly to Marilyn's, holding it there only to pull back.
Aella Foley:
But so help me, you'd best not lose tonight.
Marilyn Lee Cross:
I won't. I know how important this match is, and what it means. I win, I'm still alive in the tournament and got a chance at the Junior Heavyweight Title. No way I'm losing tonight.
Marilyn watches her reaction at the mention of the title, curious to see what might happen. What she got was a raise of the Irish girl's brows!
Marilyn Lee Cross:
I'm not losing tonight Ellie.
Aella Foley:
Good, cause I want you to be the one on the finals with me.
And as she leaned in to press a kiss to the woman's forehead, the camera fades to black.

Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group C
Nova VS Jackson IdolJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group C
Disappointed after his losing effort against Kelsey Spencer last week, Jackson Idol walked into this match with the awareness that he needs to beat the impressive Nova to keep his hopes for this tournament alive. That there was no love lost between the two was clear since their twitter exchange, so nobody was really surprised when Jackson walked in her face with his arrogant smile, and Nova replied with unrepeatable words. Even less surprised when he answered back and got hit with a sounding slap to the face. Things escalated quickly from there with Jackson connecting with three stiff forearm shots, Nova replying with a knee to the gut. She then turned her back against him, ready to hit the ropes but Jackson grabbed her by the hair and pulled her down on his knee with an hair pull backbreaker. The move obviously didn’t get buy him any new fans, it only got him a warning from the referee and a count of two. Idol was controlling the first part of this match, relying on his kicks to wear the opponent down. Nove caught him with an armdrag, Jackson quickly made it back to his feet and charged at her, moving behind her back and going for a spinning headscissors. Nova was expecting the move and, with a cartwheel, landed on her feet, smiling at the opponent with a sneering grin. Spinning around in circles, the two opponent met in the center of the ring, both of them going for a middle kick at the same time. Nova recovered first and went for a clothesline, but Idol ducked it and kicked her in the stomach with a back kick. The grey hair girl bent forward and Jackson, after a run to the ropes, connected with his knee to the side of her head, dropping on a lateral press position to make the cover for a two count. After she raised her shoulder and sat on the mat, he kicked her hard on the spine, picking her up and inflicting more punishment in the form of knife edge chops and forearm shots. He grabbed both her legs and catapulted her against the corner. Showing great reflexes, Nova landed on her feet on the middle rope, but before she could even think what her next move could be, Idol was right back on her clubbing her back and sliding between her legs, carrying her towards the center of the ring in an electric chair position, only to get planted on his head by a poison rana. And finally the Supernova was able to build some momentum, obtaining a near fall after a Roundhouse kick at the end of a striking combination, a series of kicks to the ribs followed by a spinning backfist and a jumping knee. She then charged at the ropes, jumping on the middle one and leaping towards Jackson, flipping backwards in a moonsult fashion. Idol caught her in mid air, but Nova was quick to nail him with a DDT. After he kicked out, Nova shoved him in the corner and charged at full speed, jumping for a dropkick to the chest. Jackson fell down on his chest. She rolled him on his back and climbed to the top rope, jumping for a 450 splash that found nobody home. Both contenders were down, catching their breath as the referee started the double count. Jackson was the first to get up, waiting for the opponent to do the same before superkicking her right on the chin, following with a standing shooting star press. The fans popped on their feet as Nova kicked out. They met again in the middle of the ring, trading rights in an all out brawl. The sold out crowd started a “Fight Forever” chant, obviously enjoying the performance of both competitors and the intensity they put in this match, despite them being not exactly fan favorites. Unfortunately though, that wasn’t an option, and the bell rang ending the contest in a time limit draw. WINNER: // BY: Time Limit Draw, 12:00 |
Skull Kid Two is backstage awkward as ever. He keeps looking around like somebody’s missing. Guess he still hasn’t quite figured out the concept of a solo promo. This should not be a painful sit at all then.
Minutes tick by and Skull Kid Two stares blankly into the camera filming him. Breathing so heavily that he’s actually fogging it up a bit. Gross. His eyes are those of a person that is dead inside and has been for years.
He pulls out a piece of shrubbery? It’s rowan for the eagle eyed viewers. Though clearly not in its natural state, it’s been made into some kind of charm. This is a reference maybe all of two people will understand. He shakes the charm violently at the camera like it’s some big horrifying reveal.
For those not in the know, a brief explanation. I know, try to contain your excitement. A while ago Aella and the Skull Kids talked about her being a fae on social media. Not even remotely understanding the complexity of jokes, the Skull Kids took her serious. So Skull Kid Two has forged a charm against her fae magic.
Yes. You read that right, you poor bastards. A charm that wards off fae magic.

Skull Kid 2 VS Aella FoleyJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group A
A chant of “Smash And Bash” welcomed Skull Kid 2 as he made his way to the ring, carrying his bat over his shoulder. Already inside the ring, The Godkiller herself Aella Foley didn’t wait for him to step inside the ring, recklessly diving through the ropes and taking him out. She picked him up, lighting up his chest with some hard chops and smacking his face on the apron. Caught off guard, Skull Kid was helpless prey of Aella’s wrath, unable to counter her when she lifted him and powerbombed him on the apron. She finally rolled him inside the ring, finding the referee standing on her way and preventing her from making the cover, saying that the match hadn’t officially started, and it won’t start before he can check if the Goblin Child can compete. Which he, obviously, confirmed, pushing the referee away. When the bell rang, a moment later, Foley was already charging at the opponent, breaking him in half with her FAUGH A BALLAGH! the striking spear trademark of her family and of the Na Fianna’s associates. She made the cover trying to end it quick, but the Gremlin kicked out. Landing on his feet from the German Suplex attempt, Skull Kid 2 jumped on her back, driving her down with a backstabber, his knees positioned very high on Aella’s back. The move turned to be a real game changer, allowing the masked wrestler to take control of the match. He hit the ropes, running all the way across the ring and rebounding back from the opposite side, leaping for a low dropkick to the face of the seated irish. hooking the leg for his first near fall. When the Gremlin kicked into high gear, the young Foley found herself in great difficulty, eating a handspring enziguri that dropped her once again on the mat. She slowly stood up, looking for her opponent who was already on the top rope, ready to jump with a diving meteora. Once again the Godkiller had to kick out. She quickly rolled out of the ring to catch a break, but Skull Kid 2 wasn’t in the right mood to grant her one, taking her down with a diving senton. Once the fight got back inside the ring, Aella was able to slow the pace down and, after a saito suplex, bring the match to the mat, where she excels. After stomping his left leg, she applied a calf slicer, trying to submit the opponent who desperately tried to reach the ropes. And somehow he managed to do so, forcing the break. Aella kept the hold, using the five count fully and receiving a warning from the official for it. Not that she seemed to care anyway. As soon as the Skull Kid got up, she kicked him hard on her leg, forcing him down once again. She grabbed his leg, dragging him back to the center of the ring to and nailing him with a deadlift german suplex. Once again she grabbed his leg, thinking about another submission. But the Goblin Child kicked her away with his free leg, getting back to his feet and ducking Aella’s lariat and picking her up in a fireman’s carry position, dropping her on the corner with a death valley driver, making the cover and obtaining the upset victory. Bo Fontenot VS Alexis KennedyJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group D
Bo and Alexis Kennedy go a long way, but that didn’t mean they were holding anything back when they met in the ring. And it started with a big brawl in the middle of the ring, the two girls trading quick rights. Bo caught the opponent with a right hook to the jaw, Alexis answered with a punch to… let’s say to the heart. Fontenot brought her hands to the chest, on her face an expression of pain and surprise that didn’t last long, before she jumped on Kennedy and started hitting her with everything she had. Alexis rolled through, mounting now on top of Bo and smirking down at her. The blue haired girl blew her a kiss, right before being punched on the mush by the Murder Fairy. Bo returned the courtesy a couple of minutes later when she blocked a headscissors attempt and dropped her chest first on her knees. Alexis slowly made it to the corner, where she used her ropes to pull herself up. Bo charged at her from the opposite corner for a jumping knee, climbing on top of the turnbuckle and jumping off with a double foot stomp, missing the target as Kennedy moved out of the way. Bo rolled through, quickly getting back up and turning around, unable to avoid the lariat with which Alexis knocked her down. After stomping and kicking her ribs, Kennedy left Bo motionless on the mat and climbed to the top rope, jumping off with a beautiful shooting star leg drop that sent the fans on their feet. She made the cover, but only got a two count out of it. Picking her up, Lexi lifted her in a vertical suplex position, ready to drop her down frontally. Bo was able to get free by shifting her bodyweight, landing on her feet in front of her, connecting a headbutt and picking her up for a Michinoku Driver, sitting on her chest to make the cover, getting a two count. Around the tenth minute, Fontenot was on the top rope, waiting for Lexi to stand up and diving toward her with a missile dropkick. Immediately getting to her feet, Bo charged at the ropes, jumping on the middle one and bouncing back with a crossbody, hooking the leg for a cover. Kennedy kicked out and hit the opponent with an spinning backfist, driving her knees to the ribs of Bo, picking her up for a package piledriver. Instead of going for a cover, Lexi waited for her to stand and hit her FUM Kick, literally calling the move. This gave it out to Fontenot who raised her arm and partially blocked the superkick, managing to kick out in two from the subsequent pinfall attempt. Alexis picked her up and went for a second FUM kick, dodged by Bo who quickly countered with a superkick of her own. With Alexis kicking out and only 30 seconds to go, the match ended in a time limit draw. WINNER: // BY: Time Limit Draw, 12:00 |
Singles Match
Franky Harris VS Melissa ReevesReeves comes into the match giving up a considerable size disadvantage to the close to 330 pound Harris, however, Melissa was able to use her speed and experience on the larger Franky. With 11 years more experience the early going of the match had Melissa in control. Harris was frustrated by the speed of Melissa and despite numerous attempts to use his weight advantage on Reeves, she had an answer for everything. She hits a leaping knee smash on Harris sending him into the corner which she immediately follows up with a stiff dropkick that rocks the big man hard off the turnbuckle sending him down to the mat. Reeves follows that up with a leg drop and covers Harris but the powerful Frankie throws Melissa off of him and through the middle rope to the outside. Reeves gets up stunned by the power of Harris and slides back in to keep the big man grounded by working on his knee. Melissa stayed on the knee of Frankie throughout a good portion of the early goings as her experience told her that it was hard for a 324-pound man to stand on a bummed knee. She locks in a kneebar and really cinches it in, however easily Harris was able to pull her weight to the bottom rope and grab the rope to call for the break. Melissa keeps working the knee and after a few more moments waits for Harris to get up. Harris struggles to his feet as he isn't able to put much weight on it. This forces Reeves to go for the final blow and the victory by going for the Facial Deconstructor but Harris catches her in midair and powerbombs her hard down to the mat! That gives time for Harris to work out the kink in his knee as the big man begins to dominate Melissa Reeves. Harris’ full-size advantage takes over as he manhandles the smaller Melissa with power move after power move. He delivers a series of belly to belly suplexes. He covers Reeves but showing the heart of a champion Melissa kicks out after every attempt. The beef lifts Reeves up and the multiple body slams begin as the crowd chants his name after each slam. Reeves looks completely out of it as Harris starts thinking he has this match in the bag. He lifts Melissa up for the Beef Bomb but the veteran counters into a hurricarana spiking Harris’ head! Both combatants are down as the referee begins the ten count. Melissa is the first to make it to her feet, waiting for Franky to stand up to connect her Facial Deconstructor. A huge pop follows the thud of Harris dropping on the mat. All Mel has to do now is making the cover, and take home the win. But Charlotte gets in the way, grabbing her leg and tripping her over. She then drags her out of the ring and punches her on the jaw, all this right under the referee's eyes, who instantly calls the dq. WINNER: Melissa Reeves BY: DQ (Outside Interference), 13:09 |
The boos suddenly turns into cheers as Melissa gets back on her feet, literally fuming. Charlotte Webster notices it as well, and takes the wise decision to start running. The former Libery Champion is chasing her both outside and inside the ring, running into a big clothesline by The Beef. Charlotte orders him to drop her down with the Beef Bomb, and he executes without hesitation. And while The Reaver is laying flat on her back, "The Ecstasy Of Gold" blares out from the loudspeakers. Grace van Beek is here in Everett and, escorted by her most truste men, she walks down the ramp, her custom made gold and diamond studded microphone in hand.
Grace van Beek:
I wanted to personally congratulate you for your win tonight, miss Reeves.
She says in a mocking tone.
Grace van Beek:
It is good to see that you so promptly bounced back after last week loss. And with such a grand and impressive performance, nonetheless.
Melissa gets back on her feet, and that alone is enough to set off her bodyguards, who positioned between the owner of MWE and her. After an intial hesitation, Franky joined their ranks.
Grace van Beek:
You now hold a win against me, and a win against a dominant athlete such as mister Harris... I feel like I should reward your efforts, you are one of the stars of my company.
Stress on the last two words, almost an answer to Melissa's statement, when she recently pointing out how herself and her boyfirend Christopher Kane are the one running the place.
Grace van Beek:
I am a fair leader, and I believe you earned yourself a shot at the MWE Championship at the company's next pay-per-view.
A smirk appears on her face, growing wider as the fans boo her.
Grace van Beek:
You are welcome.
And on those words, the show cuts to the next segment.

Junior Heavyweight Tournament, Group C
Kelsey Spencer VS Marilyn Lee CrossJunior Heavyweight Tournament, Group C
After a quick handshake between the two competitors, the match finally started. On one side, the current Hybrid Honor Champion and one of the favorite to win this tournament, Kelsey Spencer. Squaring up against her Marylin Lee Cross, who was looking to get back on track after the loss in her first match against Nova. The two competitors locked horns in the center of the ring, with Kelsey getting on her knees and loading her over her shoulders for a fireman carry takedown, twisting her arm trying to lock her in a submission. Cross rolled through, getting back to her feet and countering Kelsey's suubmission with a hammerlock. The two girls kept switching position, countering each other move with a different submission until Marilyn had enough of it and put an end, breaking free and connecting with a big right hand to the jaw. She then connected with an uppercut, grabbing her arm and throwing her against the ropes knocking her down with a polish hammer. She then tried a cover after a springboard moonsault, but Spencer kicked out with authority, Kelsey's bigger experience came into play later in the match when she used MLC's own momentum to turn a running crossbody attempt into a powerslam. She waited for her to get up and wrapped her arms around her connecting a belly to belly suplex. Marilyn didn't stay down too long and charged at her, Kelsey sidestepped and let her continue her run. She rebounded from the ropes, getting dropped down once again with a japanese arm drag, holding her arm in yet another submission. All this work on the limb paid off when, after a low dropkick/snap ddt combination, Kelsey locked her opponent in a fujiwara armbar. The roped seemed to be too far away, but the Queen Of Small Style somehow managed to drag herself close enough to touch them with her foot. Spencer immediately let her go, getting a round of applause for her sportsmanship. MLC was holding her arm, visibly in pain, when Kelsey charged in. Cross kept her at bay with a kick to the midesction that only slowed her down. She gave it another try, to the same result. This time Marilyn was quick to follow up with a superkick. dropping on a cover and obtaining a two. Her reaction was short lived, ending when after the Downgrade (superkick to the knee) and the shining wizard, MLC missed the moonsault, landing on Kelsey's knee. And the multi time tag champion didn't wast the opportunity, building some momentum with a series of kicks, the last one of which bent the opponent over. Kelsey took a few step forward, hitting her with a running knee lift and following with a nothern lights suplex, almost getting the win. No longer able to counter her opponent's move, Marilyn was simply surviving now, barely kicking out of the blue thunder bomb. The end of the match shocked the fans, who were convinced that Kelsey had it won, as she had him set up for her Deprivation DDT. MLC escaped and quickly rolled Kelsey over, keeping her shoulders down for three seconds and getting an upset, surprising win. After the bell rang, Kelsey stood there in disbelief for a moment, shaking her head before, eventually, recognizing the opponent's ability and shaking her hand. WINNER: Marilyn Lee Cross BY: Pinfall (Roll Up), 10:44 |
The camera opens to the backstage area as we are focused upon the first ever Riot champion, Liv Mercer, who is dressed in her ring gear with her Riot championship belt proudly displayed on her left shoulder. Liv’s long blonde hair is pulled back in a high ponytail and she takes a moment to bring one hand up to her face, holding it above her eyes, before she takes the time to look back and forth like she was searching for something.
Liv Mercer:
Where are you Gabe? Where did you go?
Liv continues to look around in an exaggerated manner before she decides to give up with a shrugging motion of her shoulders.
Liv Mercer:
Isn’t this what you’ve been wanting since day one? A real chance to prove to the world that the good guy can get the job done when he follows all of the rules? No more of this chest puffing nonsense with Dean Smith all because you have the hots for one of his sisters. I still remember the way you looked down at me for how I get my wins inside of the ring, so here’s your chance to step up, right? Here’s your chance to show me how it’s supposed to be done. The boy scout can shine in the spotlight without needing to yap like a little dog to get himself some attention.
Liv is rolling her eyes at her last words before she takes her index finger and begins to act like she’s going to gag at the mere thought of Gabriel Hooke’s point of view. She manages to regain her composure as she takes her free hand and places it over her Riot championship belt.
Liv Mercer:
How funny that when it matters the most, that’s when Gabe decides to go silent, and he’s only helping to prove the point that was made to him weeks ago now. The simple fact that nice guys like him are not going to get anywhere in this business. If you play by the rules all of the time - the world is going to walk all over you, just like I’m going to do tonight in the main event, and I’ll stomp out any dreams that Gabe might have of becoming the Riot champion. This is MY championship belt and I intend to keep proving tonight why I won it at Deep in the Heart.
Liv nods her head as she taps her index finger up against her Riot championship belt.
Liv Mercer:
You’re nothing more than a footnote in the history I will be making as the first ever Riot champion in Millenium. At the very least you can treasure the fact you were even given this chance in the first place Gabe, because I can guarantee that there won’t be another one, at least not while I’m the Riot champion.
Liv arches one of her eyebrows slightly as the smirk begins to grow upon her face.
Liv Mercer:
There’s no room on The Liv Show for Gabriel Hooke, especially not as a champion.
Liv makes a quick dismissive motion with her free hand before she turns on her heels, squaring her shoulders with determination, and adjusting her Riot championship belt up higher. Her first Riot championship defense was only mere moments away and she was ready.

Riot Championship
Liv Mercer (C) VS Gabriel HookeRiot Championship
Liv Mercer owns her entrance to the ring following Gabriel’s humble entrance to the ring, Liv brought some flair with a moonwalk dance and let everyone in the ring know it was the Liv Show. After their introductions, the title is passed to the referee. Gabriel and Liv have a little stare down before the sound of the bell rings. The match started with Gabriel Hooke using his size advantage and technical style to bring Liv down to the mat but Liv avoiding getting into a pinfall predicament. Liv showed the Idaho crowd she’s resourceful against any opponent and latched on her Dragon Sleeper hold as a clever counter to Gabriel which he used the ropes to break. Liv didn’t hold any kicks back as she would use a Roundhouse kick to Gabriel’s legs and when she had him on his knees, right between the shoulder blades. Liv added a little moonwalk to one kick in the early points of the match but as she had Gabriel down after a bulldog, she tried to do it again, only Gabriel ducked it and used a hattrick of German Suplexes to drive the wind of out her. Liv’s boyfriend Oz Dalton brought her out of the ring as a breather to let her recover momentarily. She returned to the ring to go after Gabriel’s leg, going as far as locking him in her Over the Shoulder Single Leg Boston Crab which Oz Dalton applauds and frantically slapped the apron for Gabriel to tap. He resisted the urged and grabbed the ring ropes to escape the hold. Because he did, Liv smashed his back in with yet another Roundhouse Kick. Liv showed how strong of a champion she is, going as far as performing a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex after she had stunned Gabriel while he was on the second rope in the corner. He kicked out but it would allow Liv to go back to his leg, wrapped it around the ring post with her Ringpost Figure Four Leglock. Oz Dalton was highly supportive of the move, getting the nearby crowd to chant “Liv Liv Liv” as she took to top rope. Liv leaped off and managed to land on her feet after a roll as Gabriel avoided her diving move, but he caught her quickly with his Float-over DDT. She kicked out and he tried to win off his Pumphandle Gutbuster but Liv would valiantly kick out again. This opened up Gabriel to showcase his repertoire of gutbuster variations until he dared to try a top rope version. Oz Dalton got on the top rope to try and distract Gabriel but to no avail though Liv would land on her feet once again, find her stance and stun Gabriel with her Roundhouse Kick before locking in the Dragon Sleeper on the mat. Gabriel tried to fight it but soon found himself falling faint. The referee checked his arm over, letting it drop once, then drop a second time but he managed to hang on the final time. Gabriel pulled himself to his feet and would go through with his double knee gutbuster on Liv but Liv’s foot would get on the rope during the pin. Liv would endure a few german suplexes but when it came for the bridging one she countered it into a jawbreaker. After getting caught on the rebound by Gabriel’s pendulum backbreaker, Liv fought taking a second impact when he lifted her up for his Alabama Slam. She then flipped him over with an impressive Headscissors Takedown and quickly got to the top rope to knock Gabriel down with her Front Missile Dropkick. Liv then did her moonwalk to get into position for her Stay Grounded but Gabriel would pull her in and belly to belly suplex her. He then tries a wheelbarrow suplex though Liv grabbed the ropes forcing him to let go. Oz cheered her on supportively as she ducked his grapple and performed her springboard arm drag. Oz flashed Gabriel a cheeky grin and a small, almost cartoonish “bye-bye” hand gesture when he turned around. Liv was waiting and did hit her Stay Grounded - Inverted Stomp Facebreaker to win her Riot Championship defence. WINNER: Liv Mercer (still Champion) BY: Pinfall (Stay Grounded), 9:38 |
