MILLENNIUM XXVI: High Mile
Live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO
Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019
The show opens with a view of the Pepsi Center in Denver, cutting in to pan all over the capacity crowd before moving on the entrance stage, where the usual display of pyrotechnics exploded as the theme song "When Legends Rise" by Godsmack blasts through the loudspeakers. Before cutting to the announcer table, the camera stops to show some handmade signs the fans brought in.
"#ThankYouCamari" "Yang&Wang FTW" "#TheStreak 7-0" "Derail The Murder Train" "I bought my ticket because CCJ wasn't booked" "The Crappy Few" "Fire Hawk!" "We want Aries" "Duke it out" "Nina The Intern can have my babies"
Sitting at the commentary booth, the well estabilished announcing team of Jared Idol and Bea Torres welcome the audience to the twentysixth episode of Millennium.
Jared Idol:
Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Millennium XXVI Mile High!
Bea Torres:
You know Jared, I read some funny comments on social media about how the name of this show is a refrence to...
Jared Idol:
Bea, I read them too and you really don't want to repeat them.
Bea Torres:
Uhm... On second thought, no... Can we move on?
Jared Idol:
Aye. We have only nine matches on the card this week, believe me, they're all worth watching.
Bea Torres:
THREE DEBUTS JARED! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
Jared Idol:
Robbie Bourbon, Duke Andrews and Corey Grimes. And it doesn't stop here, Gian keeps adding talent to this ever growing roster.
Bea Torres:
What a time to be a Millennium Fans! Speaking of, what about that main event though?
Jared Idol:
What was a great match between Kelsey Spencer and Tiffany Tompkins became even bigger when the title was put on the line. First match and first defense for Tiff who promised she will be a fighting champion.
Bea Torres:
Well, she definitely started the right way.
Jared Idol:
Also on the card, the handicap match booked by Grace van Beek herself, with Christopher Kane against the Happy Few.
Bea Torres:
Look, I like this job so I ain't gonna make a comment on that. Let's kick off this show!

“Six Days of Silence” by Cripple Mr Onion blares through the speakers, and an eerie mist circulates throughout Denver’s Pepsi Center. The Misery slowly walks out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Some are backing his journey towards vengeance, others are clearly intimidated by his presence, masking their fear in distant boos. The Misery takes his time at the top of the ramp, taking turns staring at each respective side of the arena.
He puts one foot in front of the other, and starts making his way to the ring. He stops about halfway, a little boy holding up a Katie Montes sign in the front row booing him. The Misery takes a hold of his mask and begins to pull at it. Could the revelation of his secret identity be just around the corner? No. Because underneath his mask… is just another mask. He reaches over the barricade and slips the mask onto the little boys head.
The Misery:
Support The Misery, little man. You will not be disappointed.
The little boy whips the mask off and throws it at the ground. He isn’t happy. The Misery takes his time to burst into sinister hysterics. He suddenly stops, turns his attention to the ring and continues down the ramp. The Misery makes it to the end, and readies himself to slide in beneath the bottom rope, but halts and stares at the apron. He pulls the apron up and reaches underneath, rummaging around for a moment until pulling out a kendo stick.
He holds the kendo stick in the air, then bolts over to another member of the front row and acts as if he’s going to hit them with it. The audience member flinches, but soon realizes The Misery isn’t going to attack. Instead The Misery begins hammering the kendo stick down against the barricade, and refuses to stop until it has been snapped in half. The Misery tosses aside the kendo stick, and like nothing even happened, makes way to the timekeepers area.
He holds out his right hand, and the ring announcer knows immediately what he’s after, quickly giving him a microphone. The Misery stares at the ring announcer for a few moments, then raises the microphone to his mouth, pulling back his mask a fraction and licking the microphone like a vanilla soft serve. The ring announcer frowns despair.
Rumchata Ayano:
But that’s my favourite mic…
The Misery pulls his mask back down and completely out of character, skips to the ring. He rolls in and kips up to his feet, spinning around in a circle and then running the ropes back and forth for at least twenty seconds. He stops dead in the centre, and once again raises the microphone, this time to his covered lips.
The Misery:
Two words. Six syllables.
The entire audience goes silent with anticipation, even the ones who were previously jeering him. The Misery takes his time, letting the anticipation brew.
The Misery:
Un. Ca. Nny. So. Cial. Ites.
Fans of the socialites duo begin cheering, just as a swirl of mist enters the ring and the lights go out. When they come back on, The Misery has vanished.

Singles Match
Robbie "MF" Bourbon VS Reggie WalkerIn the first match of the night the fans had the chance to witness the debut of one of the three new signings, the 6’5’’ 290 lbs masked superhero known as Robbie “MF” Bourbon. Standing up against him the good ol’ Reggie Walker, still looking for his first win in Millennium. Reggie tried, he really did. He started off the match unafraid of the size difference, taking the fight to the big man with some right hands, hitting the ropes to gain momentum and charging with a lariat. Apparently the impact didn’t affect Robbie, who was looking at Walker with a sneering grin. Reggie charged once again, with the exact same outcome as before. A third attempt saw Bourbon introducing the opponent to his size 12 boot. After the impact tremendous impact, Walker rolled out of the ring to catch a break and count his teeth, but Robbie was right on him, pulling him back on the apron and suplexing him back in the ring, making the first pinfall attempt. Walker never quite recovered, and the match turned became a one way deal, with Robbie easily disposing of his opponent, tossing him around like a rag doll and seemingly having fun doing so. A released fisherman suplex, a reverse scoop slam and even the Earth’s Mightiest Chokeslam, Robbie was showing his full arsenal tonight, determined to impress his new crowd at the expense of the poor Reggie Walker. Luckily for him, his agony and the match came to a quick end, when finally Bourbon picked him up one last time and put him out of his misery with the RobbieBomb, a sitout powerbomb that gave him his first, easy win on his Millennium debut. WINNER: Robbie “MF” Bourbon BY: Pinfall (Robbiebomb), 4:19 |
Jared Idol: "That's how you make a debut!"
Bea Torres: "Is... Do you think Reggie is ok?"
Bea Torres: "Is... Do you think Reggie is ok?"
Robbie Bourbon is leaning over the ropes, calling towards the timekeeper!
Jared Idol:
What is this guy doing?
Bea Torres:
He's looking for a microphone!
Someone hands Robbie a microphone. Robbie taps it...
*THUMP*THUMP*
...and it is live.
Robbie "MF" Bourbon:
What's up, Denver?
The crowd pops at the mention of their hometown.
Robbie "MF" Bourbon:
So, this is Millenium! What a scene, what a scene! I mean, I thought I wrestled in some pretty swank places before this, but WOW! Now, if you've never heard of me, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Robbie Motherfucking Bourbon. If you've never heard of it before, that's alright; because you will never, ever fucking forget it! What I like to do in this ring is pretty simple, and that's wreck the shit out of fools. I don't win pretty, to be honest, in fact I don't even win ugly. I win hideous. I win nasty. I win vulgar. I win so fucking violently that trash compactors blush, crematoriums shudder, and wrecking balls weep! Why, do you ask? Why do I come out here to smash some hapless fool trying to earn a paycheck?
Robbie pauses and points out into the crowd. He slowly spins.
Robbie "MF" Bourbon:
For the people. For you!
The crowd roars with approval.
Jared Idol:
That's a little cheap...
Bea Torres:
But effective!
Robbie "MF" Bourbon:
I am just a mutt! Disposable, dispensable, a token, beat me until I'm breathless, kick me in the head, bury me and bury me deep, but as long as I have the people, all of you, to stand in front of, my heart will not stop. My body will break but my spirit will stand and stand firm.
Robbie looks up the entrance ramp.
Robbie "MF" Bourbon:
Now, some of you might be a little chafed that the new kid on the block came out here and laid it out there like that. If your ass feels pained, if you're butthurt by the fact I came into this ring, that this dog is barking up a storm, you best go grab some Preparation H, because I've only begun to be a pain in the ass. You got your win/loss record? I got a rap sheet. You got a title? Well ain't just just neat. Don't be too sour because I'm really too sweet, because word around the campfire and the word on the street is that this ain't time to chill, I'm bringing the heat! Cooking and smoking and grilling, I'm here to compete, if you think you're the main course, I think you're just meat. Don't like it? Go cry on the internet with every little Tweet. I'm driving this bitch, forced your ass to the back seat, spread the word. Call your mom. Call the police. Call an ambulance. When you face Robbie Motherfucking Bourbon, that Motherfucker, you face defeat. Call me the Wednesday Night Wrecker, the Viceroy of Vulgar, The Big Bad Big Bad of Big Bads, or even Bulletproof Bob, just know you will remember the name of Robbie Motherfucking Bourbon.
Robbie drops the mic with a loud thud.
We find ourselves in the backstage area and it is there we are able to see the one and only Christina Rose better known to the entire wrestling world as Crystal Hilton. Crystal has an evil grin on her face as she is clad in her wrestling attire. She is wearing a mega man t shirt and has the likes of Mega Man and Roll on her tights. She runs her hands through her long purple hair as she looks deeply into the camera that is now pointed on her.
Crystal:
Would you look at that we are live in the mile high city itself of Denver Colorado…
Crystal can’t help but offer a long chuckle as she nods her head in agreement. She turns her attention to that of the cameras as she can hear the roaring crowds cheering in the background.
Crystal:
That’s right we are right here in Denver Colorado and honestly from the elevation that this city is at. It feels so hard to breathe at times. It could get hard to be a resident here which is exactly why I do not live in this shit hole. It feels amazing that I can go back to my home of Hollywood Hills in sunny California and take in the beautiful sun and of course the better climate.
The cheers turn into that of boos and Crystal really doesn’t give a damn as she shakes her head in disgust and continues to speak.
Crystal:
Go ahead and boo… You honestly think I give a shit?! I just want to say that I feel disgusted to be a part of this company and I don’t feel like I am being treated in the way that I should be treated in. I am the true star of this business not that pretentious Luna that everybody seems so hyped up over.
Crystal shakes her head as she continues to share her thoughts.
Crystal:
No… It’s always been me. I am a veteran of this business. I am the woman who has been doing this for the last 14 years and yet have I received the respect that I deserved?!
Crystal shakes her head again with a sigh as she looks deeper into the cameras.
Crystal:
No… Because I can’t even buy a fucking win in this shithole of a company. I get made to look like a joke and to be honest it’s a little irritating. I demand to have more respect than that, and because of what people see of me. They get this need that they can just continuously disrespect me and I am just supposed to sit back and take it?1 No it doesn’t work like that. I will get my respect and I don’t give a damn if I have to take it from everyone by force. As a matter of fact I will take it and I don’t give a damn about it either!
Crystal can’t help but crack a wide grin on her lips as she begins to speak again.
Crystal:
That journey will start tonight! That journey begins with that of Duke Andrews and I will beat him to prove that I am on the mend and nobody can tell me any differently.
Crystal can’t help but smile as she nods her head in agreement.
Crystal:
Duke Andrews… You seem to be entering into this company with some hype behind you. I get it you are a big deal and you think your debut is going to go well against me but what you don’t understand is that I have been busting my ass here. I need to get this win more than you can realize. I need to pull out a huge win so I can work on gaining opportunity after opportunity. I hate the fact that you think you have this match in the bag and that nothing will stop you… The thing is I am in your way. I am the Queen of Detroit and more importantly I am the Queen of Michigan. You can share a homestate with me but that doesn’t make you that great. The way I see it you are just some overgrown, over hyped, hillbilly who thinks things are going to go his way but you will sadly be mistaken. This is my journey. This is my story, and the spotlight doesn’t have room for two people.
Crystal can’t help but nod her head in agreement as she continues to speak.
Crystal:
Tonight my journey to climb to the top officially begins and you become a mere afterthought. Sorry it had to come to this but you can’t stop me, and to be brutally honest I won’t let you either. So bring on your worst. This is my story. This is my tale of redemption and this is when the lights start flickering, the cameras start rolling, and it is indeed action. Welcome to the curtain call Duke. You might as well take a bow before me because you and everyone else will be praising me for the Goddess that I am. It’s time to roll the credits on the rest of the competition. See you soon… This is the rose that refuses to wither away. I am Crystal Hilton and it’s definitely time.
With that Crystal can’t help but blow a kiss to the camera as we fade out on this image.
We cut to a live video feed of Chris Constantine who’s sitting in his study watching TV. With his feet kicked back and relaxing on a leather chair, Chris seems to be enjoying the show that’s being presented on the television set.
Chris Constantine:
Yeah! Yeah! Get him! Get him! Take his ass down. He’s getting away! Tackle his ass down!
Walking into the cameras view, Olivia Constantine makes her way over to Chris with a beer in hand.
Olivia Constantine:
You watching Millennium?
Chris scoffs at the notion as he takes the beer.
Chris Constantine:
I’m not booked so I’m watching Chicago Fire on NBC. The Millennium show is barely watchable to begin with. Dusty is facing another jobber and you have a bunch of no names in popcorn fart matches. It’s almost as bad as a RIOT show. It’ll tell you right now Honey, once the Millennium higher ups finally figure out that I can take them to the next level of the wrestling world, they will build a statue of me at their headquarters. Hopefully my match last week against those two chicks showed them just how great I am in the ring. Who were those two enhancement talents again?
Olivia Constantine:
Yona Blake and Rie Shimizu.
Chris Constantine:
Yeah! Man, you should had seen Rie when she was trying to break up the pin. It was all like MWAAA!
Chris intimidates the expression as he throws his hands in the air. Chris can’t help but chuckle as he leans back in his chair so he can continue watching his show.
Chris Constantine:
I still have a bite mark from that match. Stupid Yona and her teeth. Hope the two of them find a pink slip in their locker in the near future. Couple of hacks if you ask me.
Olivia is about to walk off but Chris stops her as he grabs her arm. Pointing at his cheek, Olivia smiles and bends over so that she can kiss him on the face. Chris has a grin on his face as Olivia walks away, leaving Chris to enjoy his beer and his show.
Singles Match
Duke Andrews VS Christina RoseAnother new face making his first appearance tonight in Denver, although far from being unknown to the wrestling fans all around the world. With his 15 years experience, Michigan’s favorite son eventually just joined his long time friends, the Brothers McMillion and the Uncanny Socialites on the green roster, and he made his debut against a multi time champion like Christina Rose, always trying to turn her Millennium career around. The trash talk from Twitter carried into their fight, with Duke saying something that Rose didn’t quite like, and to which she responded with a resounding slap. Andrews shrugged it off and hit her with a stiff forearm, grabbing her by the arm and whipping her against the ropes. Rose bounced off of them, ducking under a predictable clothesline and hitting running to the opposite side, leaping at him and flipping him over with a hurricanrana. He quickly popped up on his feet, only to eat a dropkick that sent him back into the corner. Christina was quickly on him, climbing to the middle rope and started punching him one time, two, three… She managed to land eight punches, counted by the crowd because Duke pushed her off, at least for a moment before the blossoming rose came charging at him once again. This time he anticipated her and planted her down with a STO. With Duke now in control, the fans witnessed a very physical contest, and they seemed to love it. He hit her with his Red, White and Blue combo, a series of lefts and rights followed by a kick to the leg, a back elbow and vicious lariat, but this wasn’t enough to get the three count. Andrews shook his head and picked her up, going back on the attack with a European Uppercut that send her laying against the ropes. He then charged at her with his arm extended, but Rose ducked and pulled down the top rope, sending Duke outside the ring. As soon as he got back up, she leaped jumped from the apron to the middle rope, flipping backwards in mid air and landing on him with an Asai Moonsualt. With some struggle she picked him up and rolled him inside the ring, climbing back to the top turnbuckle and taking light once again, this time landing with her leg on his chest with a diving legdrop. Duke kicked out, but Christina had this match in his pocket, getting really close to the win after hitting her Flashing Light(Chick Kick)/Smell The Roses (Handspring Standing Moonsault) combination. But the veteran still had some fight in him, as he proved moments later when he reversed an irish whip attempt and sent Christina flying over his head with a back body drop. He quickly picked her up and landed a couple of chops, forcing her back in the corner where he started kicking her in the mid-section. He didn’t stop when she was laying on the mat, turning the kicks into a series of vicious stomps (Red Wings Stomp) until the referee pushed him back, giving Christina the chance to recover and start getting back to her feet. That’s when he charged in at full speed, driving his knee to the side of her head with his Killshot. From there, he only had to pick her up in an electric chair position and drive her down with the Andrews Effect (One WInged Angel) taking home the win in his debut match. WINNER: Duke Andrews BY: Pinfall (Andrews Effect), 8:21 |
Jared Idol: "Big win for Andrews tonight!"
Bea Torres: "Christina... Or is it Crystal? Either way, she put up a great fight but in the end Michigan's favorite son came out on top."
Jared Idol: "Aye. I'm surprised with Crystal changed attitude. Maybe this is the edge she needs to be as successful in Millennium as she is elsewhere?"
Bea Torres: "I guess time will tell, Jared."

All we see is that final frame. Chris Constantine Jr., a grin on his face and beer in his hand, so proud of himself. Slowly the camera starts to pull back, revealing a TV in a darkened room, the only thing casting light. A TV that has been playing his words about himself, Millennium and the opponents he faced last week.
Looking at this TV, frozen on the image of Constantine Jr., the feed suddenly glitches. One moment of white noise on the screen, and when the feed returns to normal the scene has changed. The TV is still on, still frozen on that last moment, but it is not the only light in the room. The faint orange glow of candles illuminates the room, empty save for the TV and the two now occupying it. One sits on her knees, one of the women so freshly disparaged by Constantine Jr., Rie Shimizu. The other is only seen by the sight of his boots pacing at the edge of the screen, stepping behind the TV. Rie keeps her eyes on the TV before speaking a few lines of Japanese, flat-toned. From behind the TV came Kato’s voice, translating.
Homare Kato:
“Disrespect. Against opponents, against the company, against anyone those eyes fall upon. Words that disrespect the sport, those that put their hearts and souls into it, and those that watch it, living and departed both. But it isn’t even disrespect born of superior skill.”
She continues on then.
Homare Kato:
“It’s one thing if a wrestler so outclasses another on every level, and then shows disrespect to their opponent. It is not right, but there is a base that can be understood. But that base is not here.”
She raises a hand and points at the face of Chris Constantine Jr., speaking on.
Homare Kato:
“That pleased with himself expression, those words about Yona and myself, they are not born of ability or skill. They’re born of a lack of it, and that is what is so truly sad about it.”
She raises a hand and waves it from side to side, dismissively, going on.
Homare Kato:
“In one night Chris Constantine Jr. showed what kind of wrestler he is, and what kind of man he is. One that cannot stand on his skill, who knows that for all his honeyed words he can’t match them, that he must rely on eye pokes and resting outside. That he can’t make a suplex or DDT “great again.” Because in the end for all he says and taunts, Chris Constantine Jr. knows that he is not a good enough wrestler to live up to his own hype, so he uses disrespectful means and words to cover it.”
She pauses a moment, then asks something.
Homare Kato:
“And do you know what happens to people like that, when the world becomes aware of that? They fade away.”
She looks over her shoulder at the camera, a glint in her eye as she finishes.
Homare Kato:
“What kind of look would be on your face then, if the world sees the gold you present yourself as is only fool’s gold?”
One of Kato’s hands then reaches around the TV, obscuring the sight of Constantine Jr’s face, and shuts the TV off, the candles going with it, plunging it all into darkness.
Singles Match
Jacob Figgins VS Heathen JonesYou could tell by the look in his eyes and the way he yanked at the chain as he dragged Hickey to the ring that the Heathen Jones who walked to the ring was not a happy man. Not that anyone ever saw him happy, but you clearly last week’s loss and Envy’s interference were clearly affecting his mood. Figgins was waiting for him with the look of someone who’s aware he’s walking into a tough fight, and he was ready for it. And he wasted no time to prove it, hitting him with a baseball slide while he was locking Hickey to the post. The impact sent Heathen against the announcer’s table, the back of his head crashing hard against it. Figgles was quickly onto him with a few stomps that, maximizing the advantage before the match even started. Eventually he decided it was enough, and rolled him back in the ring not before slamming his face on the apron for good measure. Once in, the bell rang and the match started with Jacob going for the immediate cover, getting nothing but a two count. Figgins wasn’t leaving his opponent any room to recover, constantly staying on the attack alternating hard strikes and submission. After his usual theatrics, nonsense stuff the Millennium fans were by now used to, he dropped the knee and went for another pinfall, getting another two count. Right after the kick out, he locked him into an anaconda vice, trying to put him away with the submission. Almost a minute passed before Jones could reach the ropes, forcing him to break the hold. He slowly pulled himself up, immediately finding Figgles charging at him once again. Heathen drove his elbow to the opponent’s face, stopping him on his track and buying himself some time. Jacob was the first to recover and charged once again, eating a second elbow. Now it was time for Heathen to counterattack with some straight shots to the jaw. Nothing fancy, but most definitely effective. He completed his sequence with a pump kick and followed with a running senton, waiting for him to start to get back to his feet only to mock him with kicks to the ribcage. Finally, he deadlifted him into a suplex, dropping him down and attempting the cover, but Figgles kicked out. The eccentric man from Kansas City found a way to turn things back in his favor when he countered Jones’ springboard crossbody with a dropkick. The two men engaged in yet another brawl in the middle of the ring, with Jones emerging victorious and taking him off his feet with a rolling lariat. When Figgles stood back to his feet, Heathen was there waiting for him and dropping him on his knee with a pumphandle backbreaker, still not enough to win the match. Again the two competitors were going at each other, trading hard blow for the amusement of the fans. A headbutt from Heathen stunned Figgins and sent him back to the ropes, from where he came back with a rebound lariat. Jacob connected a couple of suplex before trying to lock in his patented Deep Water Horizon, an inverted Texas cloverleaf. Jones was quick to escape it before he could even lock him in. It was only after a spinning backfist that this even match turned in Heathen’s favor, with him taking control and nailing the opponent with a brainbuster. Instead of going for the cover, he waited for him to get up and hit his Lunatic Lariat, set up for the Stockholm Syndrome (Straight Jacket German Suplex with bridging pin) that gave him a hard fought win. WINNER: Heathen Jones BY: Pinfall (Stockholm Syndrome), 9:51 |
Jared Idol: "Heathen Jones immediately bounces back after the loss suffered last week against Luna"
Bea Torres: "I'm actually surprised Alan Envy didn't try anything this time."
Jared Idol: "He's scheduled to compete later tonight, perhaps he just wants to avoid potential injury before the match against Britt"
Bea Torres: "Hmm. I guess."

The scene cuts backstage to Corey Grimes already in his ring gear. Next to him is the one and only Camari Hayre. Corey has a grin on his face as he waves at her.
Corey Grimes:
See? I told you I wouldn’t stand you up this week!
Camari laughs softly and shakes her head.
Camari Hayre:
You’re lucky I showed up this week, I don’t even work here!
Corey Grimes:
You’re right! YOU DON’T WORK HERE! Security!? Where is security?
Corey says playfully. She ducks behind him before lightly punching his arm with a soft growl.
Camari Hayre:
Shhh don’t get me deported! Then you’ll have to deal with sad sack Chloe.
Corey grimaces and shakes his head.
Corey Grimes:
Hey now! She’s not so bad! Anyway, let’s move on to the good stuff… So? What good stuff do you got?
She rolls her eyes and mutters something at him, before lifting the mic.
Camari Hayre:
This Is your first match back and a lot of people are questioning if you still have what it takes to lead a company, how do you respond to these vicious rumors?
He thinks it over before nodding his head.
Corey Grimes:
Honestly? I don’t blame people for thinking that. I was on top of the world, leading SFW as its face and champion and then? Then it all fell apart and I got a divorce and then I took some time to regather myself. People think my head isn’t in it but guess what? That’s why I left for a bit, so I could get my head straight. I’m good to go now and honestly? I’m better than ever.
Camari smirks and leans in a little.
Camari Hayre:
And I see you brought a pretty little thing with you tonight, would you say that the divorce is well in the rear view mirror and you’re focusing on living your best life?
Corey laughs and shrugs his shoulders.
Corey Grimes:
Yeah, I guess you could say that!
Corey can’t help but grin as he thinks about the ‘pretty little thing’ that Camari mention.
Corey Grimes:
But yeah, I’m definitely focusing on the future. The past isn’t something that I can reflect on and let hold me back. Right now? I’m looking to the future of myself in Millennium and working my way to the top of this company.
Camari smiles with a nod, looking around she comes back to him with a glint in her eye.
Camari Hayre:
Well, I happened to see the legion of drooling female fans waiting for you at the entrance so, what would you like to say to all your fans watching right now?
Corey looks at the camera and focuses in on it.
Corey Grimes:
To everyone out there who cheers me on and believes in me? You can count on me to go out there and give my all. Dating back to my days in RSR, you all saw how I would NEVER give up. No matter the beating I take, no matter how much punishment is dished out towards me? I will keep on fighting for all of you. As for those of you who don’t believe in me? I will do whatever it takes to change those feelings and tonight? I start doing that by beating Saki, the Kawaii Deathmachine.
Camari sucks in front of him and flashes a smile.
Camari Hayre:
You heard it here first folks! Corey Grimes is back and he’s gonna fuck your shit up!
As soon as she says it, she gets hissed at by production for all the cussing and she laughs, shrugging her shoulders.
Camari Hayre:
And Remember, WATCH RIOT CAUSE WE ARE THE BETTER BRAND!
She tosses the mic to Corey and holds her hands up with an innocent smile.
Corey Grimes:
I personally think both brands are great but that’s a different story! As for you, Saki? I know what you bring to the table. I’ve seen the intensity of the battles that you’ve had throughout your career and I know that you can be a force to be reckoned with but tonight? Tonight, I will not let you bring me down. Tonight, I make my Millennium debut and I show the world that Corey Grimes? He still has it. Bet on that.
He nods before dropping the mic and walking away from the scene before it cuts away.
??:
Ahem...attention all of you!
The voice that commands the room has a little bit of a higher pitch in quality for a male voice but it is instantly recognizable. There is a wrestling ring with an old school feel with a television next to it and a couple of blue mats around it. It’s a training dojo, looking exactly like Seth Iser’s School of Tradition. But the person addressing it isn’t Seth Iser, but the silver suit, silver haired man known as The Silver Fox...Vincent Moretti. He has right hand in his suit pocket, left hand on a cane that helps balance him, and a coy smile on his face.
Vincent Moretti:
I regret to inform you all that my client...my friend...my brother, and the best damn wrestler in the world Seth Iser...he will not be speaking to everyone tonight. He has a busy schedule with very busy obligations. That’s part of both training for a Rumble and being a champion in another promotion. Also you have no idea how many radio and media appearances he has to do considering he IS a champion. I don’t think anybody who is outside of the business can fathom that part.
Moretti scowls for a minute thinking about those responsibilities before that same cat that ate the canary type of smile is back on his face.
Vincent Moretti:
And I think Seth Iser continues to be one of the most underappreciated wrestlers in the industry all because people don’t like him and he doesn’t like most people. People in IYH underappreciated him when you can easily make the case he was the best Proving Grounds champion that’s ever been seen and the only three time holder of the strap. He just won the Pride Title AT MSG, and he isn’t appreciated for that either because people like Fujiko and Izzy are petty little bitches with their own little narrative playing those school girl games. Is it any wonder why he’s angry at the world and angry at the wrestling fans when he continues to accomplish things at the deeper end of his career and he STILL isn’t being respected by in large? It’s a shame actually...especially because anybody who actually studies his career and is worth their merit...they’ve had to wrestle Seth Iser and they have to respect him. Just people take their dislike too far and don’t even respect him.
And again that rueful smile etched on Moretti’s face as he takes a couple of steps back and pulls himself up to the ring with aid of his cane and takes a seat on the apron glancing around things.
Vincent Moretti:
Don’t misconstrue what I just said: people do NOT have to like him...but you have to respect him. He’s one of the true renegades of the industry who changed the game for a lot of us. So of course people should want to try to have a big money match with him. He IS money. And Shawn Fox knows that…
Vincent’s face does turn serious as he does twirl the cane in his right hand for a moment skillfully.
Vincent Moretti:
Yes he does...he’s a cunning warrior and a cunning business man. The Silver Fox here knows a Fox when he sees one and it is an appropriate last name for him. Truly it is…
He’s contemplative as he palms his cane and taps it on the floor for a moment.
Vincent Moretti:
But let do you a favor, Shawn and lay it out like it is. You said you were tired of wrestling ‘no named fuckos’ and I hate Gordon Fury for that word...but you said in the public that you were tired of it. You wanted the real fight with Seth knowing what he can be capable of. Feburary Tenth, Shawn. That’s what you’re going to get. Let’s shoot straight from the hip, it’s money wrestling someone like you as well because you are the most accomplished wrestler IYH has ever seen and like Seth, I’ll not lie to you. And Seth said what the record was…you both wanted the match. You got it. Two greats of the game tangle one more time with the wrestling world smiling on one while wrongfully disrespecting the other.
He then flashes that smile and as rueful as it was earlier it’s also got a very devious element to it.
Vincent Moretti:
But Shawn...I don’t even think YOU are going to be prepared for the challenge of a veteran who is going to do something special and turn back the clock...I’m just saying.
It’s that last warning that Moretti gives out with that smile before we end up fading to black from this.
Singles Match
Saki VS Corey GrimesThe third and last person to make his debut tonight had the toughest challenge in front of him in the former Empire Extreme Champion. But when your last name is Grimes, you’re probably used to have to live up to such high expectations, or at least that seemed to be Corey’s case as he walked down the ramp with a confident smile on his face, welcomed by the loud cheers of the fans. Two weeks after losing her title, Saki looked perfectly recovered from the battle she had been through against Sephora Eastwick back at Imperium and determined to get back on track. The match was a very fast paced contest, both competitors going all out since the opening bell with Saki going for a hurricanrana and Corey landing on his feet after a cartwheel, quickly following up with a dropkick. Saki saw that coming and stepped away, trying to steal an early win with a Magistral Cradle. Grimes kicked out and Saki quickly wrapped her arm around his head and forced him back to the mat with a headlock takedown, from which Corey immediately slipped away, grabbing her arm and twisted it, keeping the wristlock as he ran to the corner, climbing up the ropes and planting the Kawaii Deathmachine with a wristlock springboard ddt. Showing off, the former RSR Amazon Champion jumped to his feet with a no handed kip up, soaking in the round of applause they tributed him before connecting a springboard moonsault, hooking the leg for a two count. Even confined between strict rules, Saki was showing once again her talent, proving the doubters who labelled her as “just a hardcore wrestler.” The corkscrew senton she performed after a spinning neckbreaker was a thing of beauty that draw loud cheers from the 20 thousands filling the Pepsi Center, but still it wasn’t enough to keep Corey down. She picked him up and went with a couple of uppercuts, and whipped him against the ropes. Grimes came back, avoiding her clothesline and hitting the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, surprising her with a wheelbarrow bulldog. Wasting no time, he sent her in the far corner, where he hit her with a shining wizard and pushed her back in the center of the ring, following with a rolling kick. The back and forth action kept the fans on the edge of their seat for almost ten minutes, a lot of close calls for both opponents showing how evenly matched this contest was. Corey thought he had her after a 450 splash, Saki kicked out and fought back, kicking him in the gut and planting him with a piledriver from which Grimes kicked out God only knows how. Feeding off the energy of these fans, Corey reacted surprising the Singapore Mauler with a sitout jawbreaker followed by a snap ddt. Once again Saki’s resistance was tested, but there was still gas in her tank. She tried a mild reaction with a series of headbutts before sending him running against the ropes. But Corey was quicker and took her out with a sling blade. Slowly Saki made it back to her feet and the Cali boy was there, waiting for the perfect moment to hit his CG-I Win, a springboard crucifix driver right into a pin from which the Kawaii Deathmachine couldn’t kick out in time. WINNER: Corey Grimes BY: Pinfall (CG-I Win), 11:03 |
Bea Torres: "COREYYYY! What a win against a former champion."
Jared Idol: "In all fairness, Saki's record in regular competition is far from impressive."
Bea Torres: "Fair point, but that doesn't take anything away from Grimes' great performance."

The cameras pan by and they are stopped when they hear some loud sounds of music. After further investigating we are able to see the Steeles playing some loud music. Teddy is sitting behind a drum set and he is banging as loud as he possibly can as Kate is standing up with an electric guitar strapped around her shoulder. She is all grins as she is standing in front of a microphone stand. She runs her hands through her long blonde hair as she begins to speak.
Kate:
How is it going to everybody out there in Millennium Wrestling. This is the first and only true rockstar of this roster Kate Steele and behind me is my wonderful spouse the one and only Teddy Steele. We make up the Warrens…
Teddy begins to bang as loud as he possibly can as he smiles as he looks deeply into the lens of the camera as he begins to speak.
Teddy:
That’s right we are the WARRENS!!!! Granted my WRESTLING name might be STEELE but we are in fact the Warrens so for all of those who think I took my wife’s maiden name as if I would be the type to mooch off of her I just want to tell all of you that I am in fact not a Bitch. I am in fact much better than that, and together we are the best married couple in the business today.
Teddy smiles as he begins to bang the drums again as she leans closer to the microphone and begins to speak.
Kate:
Anyway we can get into a debate on how married surnames work but tonight it’s about something special. Tonight it’s about showing off how well we do as a tag team and that is where it becomes something special Tonight we get to step into the ring against the rhyming bunch!
Teddy:
Literally we go up against Wang and Yang… It doesn’t get anymore closer to rhyming than it does with that.
Kate:
I am actually excited to be stepping into the ring with them. Jennifer and I have gotten into our share of good fights in the past. We both were great champions and every time we both had to step into the ring with one another we both gave our everything in order to come out on top. We both have given everything we had to make sure our divisions were the best but she always would come out ahead. I have nothing but respect for that woman.
Kate takes a deep breath as she continues to share her heart.
Kate:
She is in my mind the best Millennium champion that this company has ever had. She is honest and always seems to do the right thing. She always goes out of her way to look for the best competition and doesn’t stop until she gives her heart. You have to be a huge fan of that and what I would want more than anything is to find a way to get back up. I have been in somewhat of a slump since losing my title to Luna Star.
Teddy bangs the drums as he nods his head in agreement.
Teddy:
It has been an annoying little slump but we are looking to bounce back right into the thick of things and challenging ourselves against the likes of people like Jennifer and Bruce is something that sounds really amazing. We know that they are going to be great competitors to step into the ring with and I look forward to seeing what they can do.
Kate:
We are rockstars but in reality we would like to make music in the ring. We want to make music as a tag team, and we want to write some beautiful melodies with our performance in the ring. Whether that means our work gets me further up the ladder as a singles star or it brings us higher in this tag division. We just want to step up our game and keep moving higher and higher up the ladder. We look forward to a great match and it’s going to be an honour to see what they can do. Cheers…
Teddy:
And good luck but you can count on us doing everything we can to pull out a win. See you soon…
With that the two of them continue to jam out and it’s on this image that we fade out on.
The camera goes backstage where Jennifer Yang is doing her warmups, her black and blue hair neatly braided and the look on her face focused. She’s already dressed in her ring attire and doesn’t seem to notice the camera on her. It’s been two weeks since her last appearance at the Imperium supershow and though she still bears the scars of the championship match war, she looks absolutely ready to go. In fact, her shadow striking may have a little more power than it should. Wing Chun after all is not so aggressive. But it’s clear something heavy is currently weighing on her mind.
Her warmup is soon interrupted by the whirlwind presence that is Bruce Wang, her partner for the evening and most likely the loudest guy in Millennium. He strides into view, proudly grinning at the sight of his tag partner, a woman with whom he has spoken before, but never seen. Their friendship had, in fact, been a little rocky after Ho Wei Shen’s interference in the past. But that was behind them now. Probably.
WANG:
Hello, it is Wang.
He waves at Jennifer, then grins at the use of his own catchphrase (is it really a catchphrase? Nobody’s sure, but he likes to say it anyway). Jennifer looks up, her face softening into a smile as she chuckles at his greeting.
Jennifer Yang:
Bruce! It’s so good to finally meet you in person!
She goes in for a quick friendly hug as she greets him by his first name. If this had been a few weeks ago, they probably wouldn’t have been able to meet like this. The overprotective Wei Shen had once blocked her from interacting with him. In fact, he had gone on to cut her off from all interactions with anyone after that unless it’s for publicity. But even then he would be there always at her side, ready to intervene when he wanted to.
Because of that, it may look strange to see her all by herself now. Yet she stays true to her down-to-earth personality even after all of those months of being sheltered. This is evident in her easy smile as she looks at her tag partner for the night, putting whatever that happened between them to rest.
Jennifer Yang:
I didn’t get a chance to welcome you to Millennium last week so yeah, I’m glad to see you here. What are the chances huh?
Bruce grins and nods. Her warm welcome was unexpected but welcome.
Wang:
It is good to see you too. Big move to join Millennium, many great fighter like you here. But to be best, you must be facing the best, no?
He laughs while she blushes at his compliment.
Wang:
But this week we team up and that is great too, big chance to see you in action in person.
Jennifer Yang:
Yeah, likewise. I’m excited for us working together. It’s going to be a great show. And since I know one of our opponents well enough at this point, I’ll share tips and we can strategise. Kate is pretty skilled in the ring and not one to take so lightly. Though I’ve never faced Teddy before, I’m willing to bet that they make a very good team so we have to be alert at all times. Especially when they start playing dirty.
And just like that, her casual demeanour quickly turns serious as she talks business. It’s like her professional self has completely taken over in just a matter of seconds, thanks to all that training by Wei Shen. This is something people might find intimidating but she doesn’t realise it.
Bruce waves her off, chuckling.
Wang:
Do not worry, never take anything lightly. Everyone is danger, everyone can win if you are no careful. But if they play dirty then we must give them lesson to remember, Wang and Yang are formidable team and can no be beaten with low down tactic!
He nods.
Wang:
Anyone who disagrees is a stupid idiot and should slap their own face five time!!!
For a second, she stares at him almost in horror until she breaks up laughing.
Jennifer Yang:
Gosh, I hope they don’t do that!
She shakes her head, still laughing. Then calms down with an inaudible sigh.
Jennifer Yang:
Wang and Yang huh, who would’ve thought on my first match back from Imperium I’d be teaming up with you. Well, I’m really glad to have this chance. And it’s also good to hear we’re on the same page about this match. It’s going to be… different.
She pauses with a smile.
Jennifer Yang:
Good different. I’m so ready for this. Are you ready, Bruce?
Once more, Bruce nods. If that man ever feels nerves, he certainly hides them well.
Wang:
Yes, am ready. Have been looking forward to this all week and now the time is here, it is exciting!
He holds out his balled fist to her and looks up. With a smile, she bumps her own fist with his.
Jennifer Yang:
Yeah, it is! Let’s go get ‘em!
She gives a firm nod and together, they make their way to their match with confidence in their step.
Tag Team Match
Bruce Wang & Jennifer Yang VS Kate Steele & Teddy Steele
The Millennium fans looked with great curiosity at the “Yang&Wang” Connection as the odd pairing made its way to the ring. Waiting for them inside the ring, Teddy and Kate Steele, still looking for their first win as a team. The South Korean actor started the match for his team, against “Black Sexy” Teddy. The unorthodox style of the former rapper was something Bruce wasn’t used to, and he was having a hard time figuring out a way to counter it. Teddy on the other hand was having a lot of fun apparently, almost mocking the opponent as he started to weave from side to side, offering a few shot before cocking back and going for the knockout shot. Wang was down, but not out yet. Actually, the attitude shown by Tedd seemed to piss him off, as he stared him down gnashing. Steele went for another right hand but Bruce blocked hit and drove his knee into his mid section, doubling him over and following with a running knee to the side of the head. He then went for a suplex but Teddy slipped away, taking him down with a backstabber before tagging his wife in. The former lockdown champion entered the ring and immediately showed her strong suit, that submission game that earned her the Lockdown Championship. The target was obviously Wang’s back, locking him in a Bow & Arrow lock, pulling down and stretching his back on her knees. She eventually let him go, switching to a boston crab inflicting more punishment to the young former actor. Wang fought through it, biting the bullet and with great effort pushing on his hands, crawling his way to the salvation represented by the ropes. And finally he reached them, breaking free when Steele let him after exploiting the five count. The damage was done, all that pressure put on the back slowed down the South Korean who was desperately needing a tag that seemed so far away, with the Steeles cutting the ring in half and keeping him away from the former Millennium Champion with frequent tags. But the inexperience of Teddy costed his team big time, when he took way too long before charging at Bruce in the corner for a Cuddling Moment. Wang moved out of the way and started heading toward his corner. Teddy did the same and tagged Kate back in. The Siren rushed toward Bruce trying to stop him from making the tag and arriving a moment too late. Jennifer jumped back into the match in style, catching Kate with a slingshot ddt. Teddy charged at her with a clothesline but the former champion rolled under the extended arm, inciting him to try again and catching him with a released belly to belly that sent him crashing against the corner. At that time Kate was back on her feet attacking Yang with some sort of wheelbarrow move that Jenni turned into a facebuster, tolling the opponent on her back and going for a cover, only to have a returning Teddy making the save. After Jenni’s impressive start, the Steele turned things around with one of Kate’s dirty tricks, a thumb to the eye that allowed her to catch a break and tagging her husband. Teddy exploited the moment to pull a powerbomb out of his arsenal, impressive but not enough to keep someone like Jennifer Yang down. The major experience of the former champ allowed her to quickly turn things back in her favor, and when she starts swinging those punches and kicks Wing Chun style, there’s not much to do for the opponent. The sequence, impressive for number of strikes and speed really draw the fans to their feet, especially when Teddy doubled over and Jennifer hit the switchblade kick, the final piece of the move known as #LOCKDOWN. The match would’ve been over if Kate didn’t make the save once again. That was when Bruce jumped into the ring spearing the former Lockdown Champion out of the ring. Yang went back to work on her opponent, who tried a weak reaction easily stopped by Jenni with a jumping knee. She then grabbed his wrist and ran to the ropes, nailing him with the springboard cutter called #BEHUMBLE. As she was going for the cover, she heard her partner calling her and asking for the tag, which Jenni gladly offered. Wang entered the ring, picking up the motionless opponent and lifting him for his Roll Credit, finally going for the cover as Jenni watched for possible interferences. WINNER: Jennifer Yang and Bruce Wang BY: Pinfall (Roll Credit), 10:01 |

Inside a boiler room in almost complete darkness is a silhouette sitting in the middle of the room in a chair. Pipes softly bang and you can hear movement in the corner from probably some critter scourging for something to eat. Finally a soft light is turned on to reveal who's silhouette it was. With disturbed eyes staring back into the camera #Lonestar looks into the camera. He moves his left wrist and a leather band is bounded to it. He lifts up the arm and you can hear chain quickly drag across the floor.
Alan Envy:
Chains…..they are only good to keep prisoners contained. They aren't something that should be incorporated into everyday life unless you do something to be locked up to one. So what did you do Hickey to remain in chains? What penance do you owe Heathen Jones where you are nothing more than a prisoner hooked to a chain like a common inmate? You refuse to accept the help of a man that finds it disgusting that you are treated the way you are, and after you busted me open at First Blood for a moment I considered just letting this thing with me trying to save you go..which brings me to last week.
Envy pulls the chain across the floor some more.
Alan Envy:
Last week way my final attempt at rescuing you. I freed you...and yet you didn't get away. You chose to stay and leave with the man you owe something to. So now…..I turn all my attention to you Heathen Jones. You thought first blood was it? No...it's just beginning. You seem so obsessed with chains….so I made a challenge to you at #DeepInTheHeart to a chain match. Now if I was challenged to a chain match and I had such a knowledge of chains like you obviously don't….I wouldn't have hesitated. But you have yet to respond. However unlike you I'm not a coward because you know that having #LoneStar on the other end of your chain you cherish so much is a different story. Yet I hear through the grapevine you want something from me to make the match happen. So…..
Envy drags the chain across slowly as it makes an ear splitting sound inside the echo rich room. He gets to the end and a shiny gold belt appears. The camera zooms and it's revealed to be the Lonestar Championship Wrestling Heavyweight championship.
Alan Envy:
This is what you want right Louser-ana? This is where this all started between us and this is the reason it started.
Envy taps the now retired belt with his finger right on his name plate since Envy was the last champion of the promotion.
Alan Envy:
Now you have no excuse. Now you can dance the dance with me. Winner gets this. Finally you get your shot Heathen. Ball is in your court now.
Envy releases the belt from the chain and frees his wrist. He stands up and props the title onto the seat of the chair. The camera zooms in on the faceplate of the retired championship as the scene fades to black.
Hardcore Match
Sephora Eastwick VS Dustin Douglas The Empire Extreme Champion versus The Streak, in a stipulation that was clearly favoring Eastwick. The odds were stacked against Douglas tonight, but the implications were huge. A win here in Denver would be meaning more than just saving the streak, it could imply a future title shot as well for the Big Nasty. And he was well aware of this. When “Murder Train” by The Foreskins blasted out of the PA system, the 35 years old rookie came rushing out of the curtain a chair in hand. As soon as he slid into the ring, his plan backfired. Sephora doubled him over with a kick to the stomach and Dusty lost grip on the chair, getting dropped right onto it with a ddt from the tattooed girl. She picked it up, watching the opponent lying on his back with a sadistic grin before slamming the chair on his chest. Dusty felt the impact, curling up and rolling over, giving his back to the champion who relentlessly swung the chair once again, and then another time, not stopping until Douglas was no longer moving. She tossed the dented piece of metal aside and rolled the big man on his back, going for a cover. She was surprised and at the same time amused by the toughness of the 25 years old rookie sensation, smiling as he started to stir up before rolling outside and looking under the ring for more weapons, emerging with a baseball bat. Double D surprised her with a baseball slide and reached her outside the ring. Sephora swung the bat, but the big man ducked the blow and snatched it from her hand, breaking it in half on his knee. The fans seemed impressed, but not Sephora who reacted with a right hand to the jaw. Dusty followed with one of his own, starting a back and forth where both competitors were trying to prevail. It was Dusty who came out on top, whipping the opponent against the steel steps and charging at her, ending up face first on said steps after a drop toe hold. She grabbed him by the back of the head and slammed him once more for good measure, pulling out a table and pushing it back inside the ring. And finally the action was back between the ropes, the table set up next to a corner, ready to come into use for either of the competitors. Somehow The Murder Train was now in control after a devastating Samoan Drop, forcing the champ in the corner and hitting her with his quick open palm strikes. Seph managed to get out of the precarious position with a kick to the gut, brawling her way out of the corner and connecting with a cutter. She tried another cover, but once again Dusty kicked out. The Empire Extreme Champion set her opponent laying on the table and climbed to the top rope, taking perhaps a moment too long and wasting precious seconds, allowing him to recover and reach her at height, where they traded heavy shots despite the precarious equilibrium. Dusty won the exchange with a headbutt, placing her head under his armpit and superplexing her through the table! It took him a moment too long before being able to move into a pinfall attempt, and Eastwick kicked out again. The champion rolled out of the ring once again, luring the Big Nasty out and driving a fire extinguisher into his mid-section, before emptying its content to his face. Momentarily blinded, Dusty stumbled back and retreated back into the ring. As the Empire Extreme Champion climbed on the apron, Knox was seen jumping off the barricade, sliding between her legs and powerbombing her on the floor. He then grabbed her title and drove it to her face, before sliding her back inside the ring and leaving the same way he came in. Dusty finally regained the sight and saw the opponent slowly getting to her feet. No question answered, he picked her up for the Dusty Rub, walking out with the victory. WINNER: Dusty Douglas BY: Pinfall (The Dusty Rub), 8:53 |

Standing backstage at the Pepsi Center near catering is Christopher Kane. He’s dressed and ready for his upcoming handicap match tonight, but had a chicken leg in his hand. The second generation talent takes a bite with a smile, however the smile fades when he sees his little sister, Britt Kane coming towards him. He tosses the chicken leg behind him and fakes a smile.
BRITT KANE:
Oh there you are! Been looking all over for you.
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
Why?
Britt sticks her tongue out at her older half brother and pats him on the back.
BRITT KANE:
Because I wanted to wish you luck in your handicap match tonight. I know you said on Twitter that you feel like they’re walking into a handicap match against you, but I also know how much you like Rorschach from Watchmen so are you just pretending to do his “YOU’RE ALL IN HERE WITH ME” line or do you believe it?
Chris cocks an eyebrow, somewhat impressed that she’s paid that much attention to what he’s said and done in the past.
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
NEON and OMI are both dangerous competitors on their own right, and yeah the Few have beaten me about every single time I’ve gotten into the ring with them, but I believe I can beat these two tonight. To sound like one of those corny self-help gurus, if you can believe it, you can achieve it.
Britt nods her head.
BRITT KANE:
Yeah, that is pretty corny…
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
If I walk into that match tonight thinking they’ll beat me, they will. It’s as much mental as it is physical, and I think after six goddang years, I’m starting to get that. Last week when I jumped SERO from behind, I didn’t want to do it, didn’t enjoy it, but I felt like I had to. To get them at their own game a little bit. I expect them to be fierce tonight, all three of them. They’re like a pack of wolves on the hunt.
BRITT KANE:
Right, right. But, if you ever do that in one of my matches again, I will kick your balls so hard you’ll forget who the heck you are.
Chris shrugs his shoulders.
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
Look at it this way, I have nothing that needs to be done against Alan Envy tonight so you’ll be more than okay against him. I do hope you get a win because if I have to hear you complain again about losing one more time…
She huffs, stomps her feet and folds her arms.
BRITT KANE:
I hate losing. Always have and always will. I hope I can beat Envy tonight. Not a bad wrestler by any means so it’ll be a challenge, but where is the fun in always getting matched up against someone easy peasy? I want to be one of the best so I need to face some of the best.
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
Good, good.
The two stand in silence for a couple of moments before Chris coughs.
CHRISTOPHER KANE:
So, good luck, Britt. Hope you don’t get hurt.
BRITT KANE:
Yeah, you too.
The siblings share a quick hug before going their separate ways.
Backstage, without her ring gear gucci bag, in her peach skirt and a soft, satin blouse that pairs perfectly with her bag while raised on a pair of short pumps. Her Lockdown Championship is front and centre around her waist and she's single-handedly micromanaging the camera to have her in the perfect position to begin.
Luna Smith:
So last week Selina Metzger couldn't just accept facts that I proved in our title match. I retained my Lockdown Championship and she walked away empty handed. I'm not trying to fight the laws of nature, that's just the way it's always been. The best and brightest reap the rewards.
She says as she holds up her championship that does glimmer under the light.
Luna Smith:
And the man-handed, Neanderthal types get to say their little story of how they were with those Stars before returning the drab place they're doomed to always be in. But they don't get to twist the story like Selina is clearly doing and slandering me. I have enough of that from the Unworthy Riot lot.
Causing Luna an eyeroll over some social media conflicts she'd been having.
Luna Smith:
I've already defended my championship twice successfully. I pinned whatever that woolly mammoth Millennium employed so it's about time Selina respects me and my superior talent and I'm certainly not responsible for Knox assaulting her with a chair but now she may see what I see.
Luna twists her body to the right and left to make sure she wasn't going to be assaulted randomly and then between her thumbs and index fingers she pulls the title up slightly as she gazes down to the title with a happy smile.
Luna Smith:
She's not worthy to hold this. Yes she can dream and dream about holding this title but it will never be yours. I've locked this title down and I'll continue to defend it against the truly worthy if I ever get one. I mean honestly, why am I never considered for my expert opinion?
She says lightly frowning but closes her eyes to compose herself, mentally telling herself to avoid frowning and then sighs as she concludes.
Luna Smith:
So I'm about to go watch Britt and Envy fight, but let's end this silly idea that you'll ever be in my shoes and holding this belt.
Luna gleefully chuckles.
Luna Smith:
Its never going to happen. No matter how hard you wish and how much you beg, you'll never be the Star of the Night.

Singles Match
Alan Envy VS Britt KaneThe former Cloud Gate Champion Britt Kane made it clear on social media that she was far from happy with her recent performances, and that she needed to get back on track. To do so, she had to defeat a veteran like Alan Envy, coming off the mocking loss at Imperium and still involved in his seemingly eternal rivalry against Heathen Jones. The first part of the match was totally on Britt’s favor, the young Kane looked way more serene and focused than she was last week in her match against SERO, her strikes quick and precise like when she was dominating the competition as the Cloud Gate champion. She whipped Envy in the corner and charged at him, leaping and driving her feet on his face with a dropkick. She then picked him up, connecting a few chops before wrapping her arms around his head and leaping forward, driving his face on the mat with a bulldog. We didn’t have to wait long for Alan’s reaction, coming in the form of an haymaker that really rocked the 20 years old, who staggered back and ate the Texan’s big boot. Envi stayed on the attack with a neckbreaker, immediately picking Britt up and lifting her for a suplex, dropping her instead in front of him with a Falcon Arrow. Envi’s focus seemed to be faltering, as if he was expecting to hear the oh so familiar chain rattling that always anticipates the appearance of his nemesis. Nonetheless, he kept control in this phase of the match, his brawling style may not be as fancy and “clean” as Kane’s, but it was damn effective. He grabbed her by the wrist, dealing a couple of knees to the chest before sending her against the ropes and up in the air, catching her with a devastating Pop Up Death Valley Driver. Her great ring awareness and the desire to stop this losing streak allowed her to reach the ropes with her foot, denying Alan’s the win, at least for now. The Lonestar climbed to the top rope, something we don’t see him doing too often and the reason became clear almost immediately. He took too long to make it to the top of the turnbuckle and when he jumped for a double axe handle, Britty was able to counter it into an atomic drop, bouncing against the ropes to gain some momentum before delivering a nasty running elbow to the face. The former champion went for a second rope springboard moonsault, landing perfectly across Envi and hooking the leg, only getting another near fall. She tried to lock him in his Pandalock, but Alan had the extremely dangerous submission scouted and slipped out of it before it was too late. He met Britt in the center of the ring, kicking her in the stomach and following with a stunner. While Kane was slowly getting up, he charged with a sliding lariat, knocking her down once again. The pinfall attempt was unsuccessful, but Alan lifted the former Cloud Gate champion and drop her on his knee with a gutwrench gutbuster. A small distraction, turning his head to the entrance ramp allowed Britt to get up on her feet, ready to receive him with an enziguri. Alan was stunned and defenseless as the youngest Kane hit him with The Tribute (Horse stomp to the back of the head, Roaring Elbow and Bicycle Knee Strike combination), walking out with the win. WINNER: Britt Kane BY: Pinfall (The Tribute), 10:58 |
Bea Torres: "She's baaaaaaaaaaaack!"
Jared Idol: "A big win tonight for the younger Kane, against an accomplished wrestler as Alan Envy"
Bea Torres: "He seemed... Distracted. Don't you agree?"
Jared Idol: "He was expecting Heathen Jones to show up, that's for sure. But when the competition is so high, even the slightest distraction comes with a high price."

NEON:
無知は至福ではない。真理を無視する人は愚か者です。君は部屋で一番の愚か者だクリストファー
NEON’s words ring loud and true as the picture comes to life. She is seen sitting on a bench in the women’s locker room. OMI is also spotted. She is stretching her limbs before their big bout later in the evening. June Oikawa walks into the shot a couple of moments later.
June Oikawa:
Did you catch all of that, Christopher? Perhaps Google Translate will assist you?
Her quip elicits a laugh from NEON in particular.
June Oikawa:
She says that ignorance is not truly blissful at all. Those who willfully decide to ignore the truth are not wise. They are fools. And right now? You are the biggest fool in the room.
She turns her attention towards the camera.
June Oikawa:
Do you remember what you said when this card was announced, Christopher? “Only 2 on 1. Bring on the whole crew.” Those were you exact words. I would classify that tweet as a nice gesture. You did not really mean it, but you said it in order to seem valiant. You said it because you thought it made you appear strong. But in reality…
NEON:
あなたの言葉はあなたの弱さを示しています。
June nods her head.
June Oikawa:
As NEON said, your words reveal your weakness.
Ms. Oikawa takes a step towards the.
June Oikawa:
Did you not face NEON and OMI in their Millennium debut match? Yes, you certainly did. And you had help. Not just a random partner either. No. You were aided by your girlfriend. You were aided by the love of your life. And despite how you two claim to be the best in the world, despite how hard you two fought, you could not stop The Happy Few. You two failed.
She snaps her fingers.
June Oikawa:
You faced off against against SERO at Imperium. How did that match turn out, hmm? SERO elbowed you in the face until you were knocked out and nearly dead on the mat. You failed, again.
She places her hand on her chin.
June Oikawa:
You did secure one on “win” over SERO in his debut. Technically. That was at Millennium XXI, the night Aurora stepped out. SERO beat you to a pulp that night. The only reason you “won” is because SERO asked his sisters to attack you. I know that. They know that. You know that.
OMI and NEON share a stifled laugh before June continues.
June Oikawa:
You have not able to truly defeat a singular member of The Happy Few. And you could not get the job done when you had your girlfriend by your side. Therefore, how can you have the gall to call them all out? Feigned courage is not substitute lunacy, Mr. Kane.
Unlike her sister, when OMI does speak up, it’s in her usual whispered tone. For a moment, even June has to get OMI to repeat her statement, which visibly affects the elder Kurokawa’s mood. OMI’s speech goes on for several seconds, while tucks her legs underneath herself, silently repositioning herself to be slightly more comfortable as June eventually speaks up for her.
June Oikawa:
There is a saying, Christopher, that OMI would like to remind you of--one someone of your...disposition has assuredly heard before: those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat it. Underestimation is fatal, Mr. Kane; OMI herself admits to underestimating Rebecca Saint’s will last week, and suffered the consequences that came with that, but you seem to lack the same self-awareness; you underestimated OMI and NEON in the tag team tournament, and yourself and Ms. Reeves were happy to brush the loss aside as a fluke; a once-in-a-lifetime event; you doubted that any of the Few had any real talent. And when you were proven wrong, did you admit the mistake?
OMI scoffs in response, but doesn’t actually vocalize her displeasure.
June Oikawa:
Of course not. And now, here you are, Mr. Kane--repeating history, because you refuse to learn. Another week, another opportunity to learn that the Happy Few aren’t your average wrestlers, but a collective of some of the finest athletes to have ever graced this sport.
OMI actually does speak up this time, again whispering something so only June and NEON can really make it out. Unlike the last time, though, this time it’s relatively short.
June Oikawa:
OMI finds it odd that, every time you’ve faced a member of the Few, you’ve tried--desperately, may we add--to prove…something. That they’re nothing more than a joke, that one win isn’t a big deal, that...whatever; she would be curious about what tonight’s goal will be, but instead, she has a suggestion for you, Mr. Kane: seek to prove that you deserve to be calling athletes such as OMI and NEON’s skills into question.
OMI speaks up again, something of a sneer forming on her otherwise expressionless face.
June Oikawa:
Prove you can, in fact, learn from history, Mr. Kane--or be destroyed by those great enough to make it.
The camera rests on the three of them before it fades out.
2 on 1 Handicap Match
Christopher Kane VS The Happy Few The attempted assault and the interference in last week main event were not taken lightly by the owner of Millennium Wrestling Entertainment, Grace van Beek who decided to punish Kane with this 2 on 1 handicap match, never even trying to deny her intentions. OMI and NEON, on the other hand, seemed quite pleased with this opportunity to beat up Christopher. As the 22 years old son of Brad Kane walked down the ramp, the fans looked at him as if he was a man walking the green mile. His eyes though, they had a fire burning inside, something that we hadn’t seen in Chris in a long time. Having reached halfway down the ramp, he sprinted the last few feet and slid inside the ring and hit OMI with a superman punch taking her by surprise. NEON quickly turned around and swung her right hand, but Chris rolled under it, running to the ropes and hitting a particular version of his From Nowhere, a handspring rebound ace crusher instead of the usual kip up version. NEON rolled out of the ring leaving Chris alone with OMI, and that was enough for the referee to ring the bell and signal the beginning of the match. The fans were all behind Kane, his hell-bent start fueling their hopes to see a miracle happen tonight. Despite being a proficient striker herself, OMI didn’t seem able to find her footing in this match tonight, overwhelmed by Chris’ constant offense. His punches and kicks weren’t giving the member of The Few any break, his high guard frustrating her every attempt for a comeback. He locked her in a clinch position, driving his knees to her face multiple times, following with a chestblower, hooking the leg for a cover. OMI pulled her shoulders up, Kane shook his head and flipped her over with a snapmare, kicking her hard between the shoulder blades. As she arched her back, Chris took a run against the ropes on the opposite side and hit is Omega Finale (Sliding D) this time not even “calling” it with his usual gunshot gesture. The crowd erupted in cheers as he went for the cover, but of course their scream of joy died in their throats when NEON made the save. After the initial shock the number game eventually caught up, allowing The Few to take control of the match. The Tiny Dragon was wearing down the former Divine Pro Dawn Champion with a series of ground submission, especially targeting the neck area. Chris somehow managed to get up to his feet breaking free for just a moment before NEON caught him in a headlock. He drove his elbow to her ribs, trying to get free but the japanese wrestler kept the submission, answering with some knee strikes that immediately stopped the momentum Kane was building. She switched to a front facelock, lifting him in a suplex and dropping him forward, raising her knee with the move she call Shatter-Shock. It was now her turn to go for a cover, but it wasn’t enough to put Kane away. “Crush his body and his spirit”. Those were the words Grace used when she announced the match to OMI and NEON five days ago, and The Happy Few were taking her to the letter, methodically dismantling Christopher working as a unit with quick tags and tag team maneuvers. OMI lifted him upside down in a suplex position and NEON kicked his head before her sister dropped him down with a brainbuster. Everybody in the Arena thought this was the end, but somehow Kane lifted his shoulder once again. His eyes open wide, he was visibly stunned but still determined on not giving up. Typhoon look down at him with that cold and pitiless cold look, before dropping an axe kick to his head. She didn’t go for the cover this time, waiting for him be on his knees and swinging her leg once again for the Ame-no-Tataku, a high-speed roundhouse kick to the head. Nobody could believe when Kane kicked out once again. He was laying on the mat, motionless and breathing heavily but somehow he was still in this match. He tilted his head to a side, spotting his cousin sitting in the front row extremely concerned about what was going on inside the ring. Somehow this gave him an unexpected boost of energy that rekindled the hopes of the fans, who were firmly behind him when he started fighting back. At first it was a couple of weak elbows to the stomach, then a series of forearm shots followed by a jumping knee to the face. He even had OMI over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry position, ready to drop her for his Hit By A Cyclone but the japanese wrestler slid free, pushing him against the ropes and hitting her Super Cyclone out of nowhere. Chris was down and out, the Tornado Kick scoring another victim. WINNER: The Happy Few BY: Pinfall (Super Cyclone), 13:12 |
Jared Idol: "A valiant effort from Kane, but this match couldn't have ended in any other way."
Bea Torres: "Yeah... The match is over now, leave him alone!"
Bea Torres: "Yeah... The match is over now, leave him alone!"
As OMI and NEON stand over Christopher Kane, the referee tried to tell them to move away but they didn’t obey. Yet, they did eventually back off as he was starting to come to. Mainly due to the fact that SERO’s theme begins, causing the crowd to sharply pan. Chris is no condition to fight back, still a little delirious from the match prior. SERO comes down to the ring, looking ready to fight. As he slides in, OMI and NEON both block off the exits, ensuring that Chris has nowhere to go. He stands up, using the turnbuckle, glaring at SERO, who doesn’t have a fighting stance up. Instead, he walks over to the end of the ring, asking for a microphone.
He turns back to Christopher Kane, gazing at him with a condescending grin on his face. As he continues to look him up and down, Chris puts up the best stance he can, prepared to start swinging but SERO puts his hand up to him. The crowd gets quieter, wondering what SERO would say. But none of them were exactly prepared for what SERO did say.
SERO:
Christopher Kane.
Christopher Kane.
There is a momentary cheer for SERO’s first words.
SERO:
I don’t need to attack you from behind or when you’re weak like this.
I don’t need to attack you from behind or when you’re weak like this.
The audience reacts to the fact that SERO can speak, well, perfect English. A hint of his accent is there but his voice is pure.
SERO:
Why do I have to attack you from behind when I’ve beaten you face-to-face? The actions you are taking are not going to do anything for you but put you in more situations like this. Ones that you cannot win and ones that you may not survive. So I implore you, Christopher Kane.

SERO does walk forward a bit, establishing his presence.
SERO:
End this pathetic charade before someone does it for you.
End this pathetic charade before someone does it for you.
SERO drops the microphone to the ground before heading for the ropes. OMI and NEON do the same but they make sure to keep Christopher in a disadvantageous position, so he cannot come at any of the Happy Few. The camera then lingers on Christopher Kane as he remains in the ring by himself.
The scene transitions to a shot of the backstage area, where Camari Hayre is standing in the centre of the frame, microphone in hand.
Camari Hayre:
We’ve already seen some fantastic wrestling action here tonight, and it looks like we’re gearing up for more of the same! Coming up in tonight’s main event, Tiffany Tompkins will defend her Cloud Gate Championship against my guest at this time, Kelsey Spencer.
Fans let out a cheer as the spunky Spencer walks into frame, unable to contain her beaming smile as she stands by the interviewer’s side.
Camari Hayre:
Kelsey, tonight, you’ll be stepping into the ring with Tiffany Tompkins in a match that wasn’t a championship match at first. But, now you find yourself challenging for the Cloud Gate Title in tonight’s main event. How are you feeling heading into this match?
Kelsey breathes a soft sigh as she reflects.
Kelsey Spencer:
It’s kinda crazy. I didn’t really expect things to go this way, but Mr Vaccaro made it official, so… here we are. A lotta the credit for making this happen has gotta go to Tiffany, you know, coz she stepped up and accepted the challenge that you threw down to her, actually. Like I said on social media, there aren’t many wrestlers out there who would stand up and say “You know what? Yeah, let’s put the title on the line!” To put yourself out there like that - to put your skills to the test when it’s all at stake - it’s something I really admire and respect in a competitor. Tiffany’s got that kinda drive and heart that I’m talking about. You can see the passion in the way she carries herself in the ring, the way she puts all she has into everything she does. And to think, she’s only, what… Eighteen? Woah, man… talk about a bright future…
She gives a brief shake of the head, raising a single finger with a smirk.
Kelsey Spencer:
Now, that being said, I’m not gonna make this easy for her. Tiffany may be an amazing competitor, but she’s got something I want, and that’s the Cloud Gate Championship. This is the first time I’ll be in a singles match here in Millennium, and I wanna make the most of that. I wanna make an impact… I can’t think of a better way to do that than going out there tonight, tear the roof off the Pepsi Center and walk out of that ring as the new Cloud Gate Champion!
There’s a decent positive reaction from the live crowd at this declaration. Kelsey’s eyes wander from Camari to someone who’s standing just out of frame; her smile fades just a little and she steps back slightly as they approach. Camari turns to see the figure stepping in, only to roll her eyes at the sight of the Cloud Gate Champion herself, Tiffany Tompkins. As Tiffany steps in, smiling at her upcoming challenger, Camari tries to step in.
Camari Hayre:
Excuse me, this is not your interview time. I’ve already made it very clear on social media, if you want an interview with me, you must at very least demonstrate basic courtesy…
Tiffany Tompkins:
Back off, I ain’t here for an interview.
Camari is appalled by her attitude, but thankfully Kelsey was there to calm her down. Motioning to her that everything’s fine, Kelsey allows Tiffany to approach her. Clearly the champion has something to say…
Tiffany Tompkins:
Listen Kelsey. Sorry to interrupt your interview, but I just thought I’d warn you, be careful with what you say around this one. She’s a little sensitive…
Annoyed by this, Camari storms out of sight, leaving Kelsey, Tiffany and the Cloud Gate Championship draped over her shoulder alone. Spencer watches Camari leave in a huff for only a brief second before Tiffany has her undivided attention once again.
Tiffany Tompkins:
Anyway, I’m glad I caught you coz I never got the opportunity to wish you luck in person. I mean, look who I’m in the ring with tonight. Kelsey Spencer. The Blue Thunder. It’s such an honor, not just to be in the same ring as you, not just to be a part of your first singles match here in Millennium, but also to have you as the first challenger for this title.
Spencer nods in approval as she listens intently.
Tiffany Tompkins:
You know, despite the rumors that interviewer tried to spread, there’s a reason to be intimidated. I may be champion, but I still got a whole career ahead of me. As for you, well, you’ve been competing before I even hit double digits. I’m facing a lot of experience, and although this is your first singles match here, something tells me this isn’t your first singles match ever. I’ve definitely got my work cut out for me here, but the thing is, I wouldn’t have it any other way. So like I said, it’s an honor to put my title on the line against a more than worthy challenger like you, but you’re about to find out how I earned this title in the first place. So with that said, I guess all that’s left to say is...
She offers her hand out.
Tiffany Tompkins:
...good luck Kels. You’re gonna need it.
The soon-to-be challenger glances at the champion’s extended hand, a grin growing across her face.
Kelsey Spencer:
I’ve gotta say, I love your attitude and your outlook.
She finally accepts the gesture, giving her hand a firm shake.
Kelsey Spencer:
Best of luck to you too, Tiff. May the best woman win.
There’s a lasting shot of the two mutually respectful competitors shaking hands as the scene transitions into the next.

Tiffany Tompkins (c) VS Kelsey Spencer
The excitement was at an all time high inside the Pepsi Center. As if there was not enough hype around this main event against a multi time champion like Kelsey Spencer and the new Cloud Gate Champion, one of the rising star in this industry Tiffany Tompkins, the announcement that the title would be on the line (#ThankYouCamari) definitely spiced things up. The referee called them both in the center of the ring for the last recommandation. Tiffany handed him the title she proudly kept wrapped around her waist and looked up at her opponent who was offering a handshake. With no hesitation she grabbed the hand and shook it. while the referee raised the Cloud Gate Championship in the air. After the always appreciated show of sportsmanship the match was underway, with the two competitors locking up in a test of strength. Kelsey quickly transitioned into a headlock, taking down the opponent who quickly slipped away from the hold and stood back up to her feet, charging at the blue haired girl who took her down with an arm drag, keeping the hold on her arm and applying pressure to the shoulder. Tiffany once again pulled herself up, rolling on the mat and turning it into a wristlock of her own, twisting the arm behind her back in a hammerlock, pushing the opponent against the ropes and switching to a waistlock, pinning Kelsey with a O’Connor Roll. Spencer kicked out, quickly getting back to her feet and sidestepping as Tiffany charged at her, tripping her leg and taking her down with a drop toe hold. Slightly frustrated with how the match started, Tiffany got back up and started relying on her stronger suit, those fast kicks that became a trademark of her wrestling style. And maybe exactly that was the reason why someone as attentive and methodical in her preparation to a match like Kelsey was able to counter them, catching her leg and spinning, taking the five foot deathmachine down once again. The experience of the four time tag team champion put her in the driving seat, controlling the pace of the match and whipping Tiffany in the corner, following with a monkey flip that sent the champion back in the center of the ring. Kelsey charged at her with a single leg dropkick, positioning herself behind Tompkins surprising her with a tiger suplex, holding the bridge for a two count. The challenger hit the ropes, bouncing on the second and connecting a beautiful springboard roundhouse kick to the skull of the young champion, knocking her down and following with her cartwheel legdrop, keeping the pressure on the champion with another cover, from which Tiffany powered out with authority. Finding herself in difficulty, the champion rolled outside, taking a small break to recollect her thoughts. Kelsey had a whole different plan, gaining momentum against the ropes and diving outside with a somersault plancha, wiping out Tompkins. It took a whole count of six before Kelsey rolled the champion back in the ring, following her inside after indulging a moment with the fans. A slight hesitation Tiffany capitalized on, kicking the Blue Thunder as she was stepping between the ropes, stunning her just long enough to turn the tables with the Bone Grinder (rope hung flatliner). From that moment, the Android 18 started build some momentum, her educated feet never missing the mark, slowly wearing down the tag team specialist. Spencer kicked out of the first pinfall attempt, but Tiffany was right back on her, picking her up and hitting her with an uppercut. She then went for an irish whip, reversed by Kelsey who then missed the clothesline, eating the running single leg dropkick from the Cloud Gate Champion. The Blue Hurricane dragged herself into the corner, right on the path of Tompkins’ cannonball. A “This Is Awesome” chant echoed in the Pepsi Center when, way past the 10 minutes mark, the two contenders were getting back to their feet after they both went for a crossbody. Visibly tired they started trading blows in the middle of the ring, slow but heavy strikes. And it was Tiffany who seemed to be able to go that extra mile, throwing a series of three consecutive forearm shots before swinging for a right hook. Kelsey ducked it, collecting all the energy left to lift the champion and drop her with the blue thunder bomb. The referee went in position, and the whole Denver held his breath as he made the count, ready to witness a shocking title change. Right before the three Tiffany kicked out. Spencer couldn’t believe it, the fans couldn’t believe it, the commentary team couldn’t believe it and probably neither the referee could. But the eighteen years old Cloud Gate Champion did, indeed, kick out. Kelsey didn’t let this discourage her, picking the opponent up and calling for the Deprivation DDT. Tiffany caught her off guard with a small package, almost stealing a win. Kelsey kicked out, charging at the opponent who, digging down deep, planted her with a spinebuster, a move she learned from Nora Foley. Once again both opponents were down, breathing heavily as the referee started his count. Tiffany grabbed the ropes and picked herself up before the opponent. A quick glance at Kelsey, who was on getting on the knees and the champion realized this was her best shot. And she didn’t miss, connecting with her Deathkick and literally collapsing over Kelsey, successfully defending her title for the first time. WINNER: Tiffany Tompkins (Still Champion) BY: Pinfall (Deathkick), 16:36 |
Bea Torres: "She did it! She retained the Cloud Gate Championship!"
Jared Idol: "What a match! Kudos to both competitors but in the end, Tiffany had that little something more to go the extra mile."
Bea Torres: "How did she kick out from the Blue Thunder Bomb though? I'm still shocked."
Jared Idol: "She's the youngest, far from the biggest member of this roster. But she has the heart of a champion, and she proved it here tonight just like she did at Imperium, or in the Meraki Tournament before that."
Bea Torres: "And look at this..."
The referee hands back the title to Tompkins, who immediately falls on her knees and clutches it to her chest. A few steps away from her Kelsey Spencer, holding her jaw after the Deathkick, is once again offering her hands in congratulation. As soon as Tiffany reaches out and grabs her hand, Kelsey helps her back to her feet and, with a big smile on her face, raises the Cloud Gate Champion's arm in the air. There's obviously a standing ovation for both competitors and for the classy gesture made by the Uncanny Socialite.
Jared Idol: "I think this is the perfect image to close the show with. Jared and Bea wish you a good night."
Bea Torres: "The appointment is for next Wednesday when we'll go live from Oklahoma City!"
Jared Idol: "And don't forget to catch Riot this Friday"
The camera cuts back to the ring, where Kelsey left Tiffany alone, enjoying her moment of glory and the applause of the almost twenty thousands in Denver. Tompkins raise the Cloud Gate Championship high in the air and, on that image, the show ends.
