FIGHTING INFO
Fighting Style(s)
- Brawler: Your character relies on striking to pummel their opponent into submission.
- Dirty: Your character has no qualms in cheating to win.
- Entertainer: Your character feeds off of the crowd, giving them what they want and using their cheers to drive them toward victory.
- High Flier: Your character uses their body as a projectile, throwing themselves from dangerous heights in new and creative ways to best incapacitate their opponents.
- Technical: Your character is well versed in various holds, takedowns and suplexes - giving them a strong, mat based style.
Finishing Move(s)
1. Southie Glory: Stalling falling chokebomb (if opponent is more hated than Brendan, the crowd may repeatedly chant “Choke! Choke!”)
2. This isn’t a finisher per se, but more like a match-ending option. Opponent leaves Brendan reeling from a hit/throw, his manager Jade Night does something sneaky to help him win and the oblivious Brendan goes for the pin and wins.
Signature Moves
1. Brendan’s Big Bag O’ Trix: Basically anything to trick the referee or opponent to get an opening in the match or to win, from something simple to an elaborate plan.
His personal favourite gag is the “dead leg”, stiff kick to the opponent’s upper thigh when the ref’s not looking. While opponent is in pain, he’ll make fun of them and to the booing crowd, he’d be like “What? It’s funny!” From here, he can set up the Southie Glory.
Another example: Randomly pass out aka playing possum during a match. Referee will check on him and Jade will knock out the unsuspecting opponent behind the ref’s back. Then Brendan will seal the deal with the Southie Glory and win.
Another example: While referee is distracted/knocked out, Brendan exits the ring to grab an illegal object then tosses it to a surprised opponent before pretending to pass out in the middle of the ring as if knocked out. Ref, thinking opponent used the illegal object, disqualifies them and declares Brendan the winner.
2. Boston Full Throttle: Delayed spinebuster to giant swing (speed increases with each rotation of usually 7 rotations, may be more depending on the match and crowd reception)
3. The Awesome AF Combo: Lariat > lariat > springboard forearm smash
Preferred Weapon(s)
- Jade Night (she’ll always play an active role in his matches, often finding ways to swing the momentum his way if needed, and won’t hesitate to attack his opponents or distract the referee)
- Nathan’s baseball bat (sometimes it’s him or Jade who uses it, plus it’s his dad’s thing and if Brendan needs it, he’ll “borrow” it)
Preferred Match Type(s)
- A gimmick match (the more ridiculous the gimmick, the better, cos he's a simple guy, he just wants to entertain the crowd)
- A match that allows Jade to be at ringside
- Clusterfuck multi-person matches so he can hang back and let others wear each other out before he swoops in for the win.
Disliked Match Type(s)
Anything that doesn’t give him the freedom to do what he wants or allow Jade to be at ringside. And if he gets this, he will complain and come up with excuses. A lot.

CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Brendan has always been very close to his family. Growing up, Brendan developed many interests especially in sports which were supported by his parents. His father Nathan started training him in wrestling when he was a teenager and he later made his official debut at the age of 18. He fell in love with the thrill of performing and had no problems getting booked due to his training and natural charisma. But at the time, Brendan had a problem with sticking to one thing and after a few years, he got bored with the wrestling life and quit. He took on odd jobs (including working as a living statue) and lived a simple life while struggling to make ends meet on his own. But wrestling is in his blood and soon enough, he returned to it and signed with Proving Grounds Wrestling (PGW) where he teamed up with Ryan, the brother he’s closest to.
Things started to slowly go downhill when Nathan broke the news of his other family that he has been keeping secret for years. Brendan took it the hardest and was the last of his brothers to meet with half-sister Noel. Sometime later, another half-brother was discovered: Michael. By this time, Brendan had moved to Empire Pro Wrestling (EPW) and begun showing a rebellious attitude towards Nathan. When Nathan left EPW to open Liberty Pro in the East Coast territory of the Championship Wrestling Coalition (CWC), Brendan followed. Being the owner’s son, Brendan was constantly teased and insulted by his peers for potential bias yet he had received none of the perks of such a relationship. Instead, he was punished in his matches. This not only put a strain in Brendan’s relationship with Nathan but also his brothers especially Sean whom he tagged with on occasion during their time in Liberty together. The highly emotionally-charged feud exploded in Liberty’s first supershow “Shippin’ Off to Boston” in a Boston Street Fight. Brendan won in the end but it put Nathan in the hospital for a while.
Following that, Brendan moved on to competitions for various championships but never got far until the tournament for the then new and unnamed championship at Battle Symphony. While the referee was raising Brendan’s hand in victory, Nathan interrupted to announce the final and secret entrant Scarlett Highland. Due to fatigue, Brendan failed to beat Scarlett that night and lost the chance to be the champion. Scarlett was then named the new Trials champion. Dubbing it the “Brooklyn Screwjob”, Brendan, alongside Felix Vialpando who also felt cheated of his loss and Scarlett who just basically wanted screen time to promote her show “In the Life of Scarlett Highland”, went to the ring to call out Nathan on it. Annoyed with Scarlett, Brendan played a prank on her at the end of the segment by soaking her with a water gun in the middle of the ring. And thus began their huge rivalry for the Trials championship. They fought thrice for the title under peculiar rules that favoured Scarlett more such as “the no touching her hair” rule and him having to wrestle with a black bag over his head. On Liberation 21, Scarlett put her title on the line against Brendan yet again but this time, Voidstar made his appearance which frightened Brendan so much that he immediately ran out of the ring to escape, allowing her to retain due to count-out. Because of Voidstar’s interference, the match was pushed to Liberation 23 and again, Voidstar appeared to scare the living shit out of the two of them. But Brendan, being the first to nearly piss in his pants, took advantage while Scarlett was screaming in fear and won the Trials championship with a roll-up. Voidstar picked up Scarlett and went to the back; Scarlett was never seen again.
Thanks to Tessa Sweet, Voidstar’s interference is linked to Nathan. Brendan is convinced that Nathan had sent Voidstar to scare him and possibly punish him as revenge for beating him at Shippin’ Off to Boston. This caused Brendan to get paranoid and fear for his life while dealing with all sorts of trauma and shit, forcing him to seek medical hypnosis treatment. Unbeknownst to him, he was tricked by the doctor and instead of getting help for overcoming his fears and trauma, he was hypnotised into falling asleep every time he heard a certain type of strange tinkly music. It played during his match against Riley Savell on Liberation 24 and he dropped her as he fell sideways on the mat, fast asleep. It’s only when the music stopped can the referee wake him up. But he was disoriented, allowing her to capitalise and beat him with The Unsaved. This left Brendan highly disturbed as he had no idea what happened. Later on Twitter, after watching the match replay at home, he claimed to have fallen asleep again at the point when he did during the actual match too. Brendan and Voidstar finally faced off in a 2 out of 3 falls match at March Madness on Night 2. But Brendan was too afraid of Voidstar that it affected him greatly during the match and things just went downhill when their pinfall score became a tie. Voidstar relentlessly brutalised Brendan and delayed a pinfall opportunity just to prolong the violence. Seemingly having had enough of it, Jade Night ran out to the ring to his aid with Nathan’s barbed wire bat and struck Voidstar with it. This essentially gave Voidstar the overall victory and the Trials title but Jade wasn’t done as she continued to attack him. That’s when all the lights went out and Voidstar was seen carrying the title and Jade towards the back. All the while, Brendan was still flat out unconscious. On the following Liberation 27, an emotional Brendan met with Tessa to talk about everything and what happened with Jade, which he had personally requested, but for some reason, he chickened out at the last second and left. He had been quiet on Twitter for a while after that before popping back up on the timeline with a tweet that said: “The best thing about Twitter is that I can talk to Void without peeing in my pants”. It was later revealed to Brendan that Nathan had allowed Voidstar to go after him, possibly as a way to motivate his eldest son to do more for his career. With Jade back at his side and Voidstar eventually gone from Liberty, Brendan’s nightmare was finally over.
Things seemed to return to normal after that, with Nathan constantly booking him in big matches and even title matches where he would lose time and time again. Nathan was still trying to push Brendan but his eldest son had gone back to his slacker ways. Brendan continued to fail at every opportunity till the company closed.
For almost half a year, Brendan didn’t compete elsewhere, enjoying his break at home with his girlfriend. Then one day, they decided to return to wrestling together. This time, Jade was going to be by his side as his manager. Why? Well, someone’s gotta watch him just in case he suddenly wanders into traffic or something.
