Singles Match
Noa Skye VS Missy PropagandaNoa and Missy opened the night here in South Korea, their styles of wrestling mixing together to create an entertaining match for the fans. The Green Haired Doll used her natural speed to stay away from Missy's kicks, dodging them with cartwheels and rolls, waiting for the opportunity to strike the recently graduated young woman. She eventually saw the opening and took it, taking Missy down with a snap German suplex after ducking her high kick. Noa showcased her daredevil style, taking some probably unnecessary risks, although the fans seemed to appreciate the spectacle the Hex Girl was putting on, cheering every time she connected one of her aerial assaults. The springboard bulldog definitely turned a few heads, but it wasn't enough to keep the Second Propagandist down. In fairness, the fans were just as excited for what Missy brought to the plate, cheering for her just as loudly. The Academy graduate came really close to her first win on the main roster with the Propaganda Bomb (springboard flatliner) but Noa saved herself by putting her foot on the bottom rope. But in the end Noa cuaght her with a cutter and finished her with the Lost Paradise (diving senton). WINNER: Noa Skye BY: Pinfall (Lost Paradise), 8:06 |
Snow White, and Rose Red start playing through the arena as Caitlyn Sage, and Ashley Layeth come out holding hands with smirks on their lips as they slowly walk down to the ring, letting go of each others hands to walk to opposite sides of the ring grabbing microphones of the stairs, and stepping into the ring coming to meet each other once again in the center of the ring.
Caitlyn Sage:
“They say that no one is closer than family… Families will have each others backs no matter what that family is an unbreakable bond, and this is true in most cases, but the Eldon family? There is more drama, and bad blood in that family that I wouldn’t wish on my worst of enemies, but now me, and my best friend Ashley? Who may as well be my sister? Our bond is true, our bond is unbreakable, and tonight we will show the Eldon family just how fickle their bond is compared to ours as we show them a bond so strong that they have no option, but to tremble before the Chaos we inflict upon them.”
Caitlyn turns to Ashley and nods her head signaling for her to speak if she wishes.
Ashley Layeth:
“What my sister mean to say is this. Clyde, hold your sister close, and Erika? Cherish what time you have with your brother before our match tonight, because once you step into the ring with the Sisters of Calimity? The atmosphere will change, the air will seem to become so heavy that your struggle to bring before our presence, and you will find yourself asking what is wrong with yourself? And the answer is simple my darlings! Its all consuming fear, and that will be your last chance to run, because once the bell rings? The chance for mercy is over, once the bell rings it becomes hunting time for the Sisters of Calimty, and we will rip each and every strang of hair from your head, we will knock your teeth so far down your throat that you strangle on them and we will mangle your faces so far that your mother Karen will disown you more than she already does. To step in the ring with the Sisters of Calamity is not something to look forward to, because to step to us is a FUCKING DEATH WISH!”
Ashley smirks as she looks toward Caitlyn.
Caitlyn Sage:
“Oh Hot headed Ashley how I love you so, you never fail to put things completely blunt, but you see tonight is not just about us, its a celebration, because we have a champion amongst our ranks now! Selena dear, the spotlight is yours.”
Electricity by Blood Stained Child starts playing throughout the arena, and the the crowd starts roaring with cheers, as Selena Lyre steps through the curtains with the Lockdown Championship around her waist, and a wide smile as she makes her way down to the the ring sliding under the ropes, and hugs both Ashley, and Caitlyn before grabbing a microphone.
Selena Lyre:
“After months of struggling to get my feet planted on the ground in Millennium, after months of heartache, and anger, and doubt because of all the number gains, and distractions.. I have finally done it! I have captured a championship!”
Selena unhooks the Lockdown Championship from around her waist, and holds it up above her head with her right hands as the fans chant her name, before she lays it over her right shoulder.
Selena Lyre:
“I captured the Lockdown Championship on my own, but I couldn’t have done it without Ashley, and Caitlyn’s moral support, and tough love reminded me who I am, and restored the confidence I had in myself in training, and now that I have found the girl who I always have been? I can confidently say that now no one will be able to fly of the Sky Goddess, because I am untouchable, and this isn’t ego, but confidence its the meaning of being the electric girl, and tonight Clyde Sutter will be the first to witness how damn good Selena Lyre is when she has her mojo going, and for anyone who wishes to challenge me for this Lockdown Championship? I welcome the challenge, but just like the name implies? As long as the Lockdown Championship is around my waist? It’s not going anywhere because I am going to have this Championship on lockdown, and if anyone tries anything funny? You will have to deal with my sisters in arms here, and I don’t think anyone wants to deal with The Sisters of Calamity when they are pissed off, and so I end my statement with this. Who thinks they can stand on the same level as a Goddess? Show me if you think you're good enough!”
Selena smirks. And drops the microphone as her music starts playing, and herself, and The Sisters of Calamity exit the ring, and make their way backstage while holding hands.
Singles Match
Selena Lyre VS Clyde SutterFirst match as the Lockdown champion for Selena, and it's against one of the most feared wrestlers in the company, the former Riot champion Clyde Sutter. The Assassin had been absent from the screen for a while, but now that he was back he was looking to quickly climb back to the top of the company. Selena found herself in a dangerous predicament, dealing with a motivated and determined Sutter who went on and unleashed his trademark brand of violence, almost beheading her with his Clothesline From Hell. A rough "welcome to the big leagues" from Clyde to Selena, but the Electric Girl survived everything the Assassin threw her, including a massive Cruciform Slam. Sutter went for a second Clothesline From Hell but this one was ducked by Selena who then grabbed his arms and tried to pin him with a crucifix pin, obtaining a count of two. The match continued with Selena slowly making her comeback, finally landing some shots to Sutter's body. The Assassin didn't seem to be too affected by those strikes, but he definitely felt the springboard dropkick that took him off his feet and forced him to a strategic retreat on the outside. Lyre wasn't giving him any chance to regroup as she jumped on him with a spectacular dive over the top rope. When the fight went back in the ring, Selena kept pressing and even connected her patented Lightning Strike but Sutter survived the impact. The Electric Girl would then climb to the top rope and went for the Star Drop (shooting star press), but found nobody home, as Clyde moved out of the way. A fatal mistake for the champion, as it gave Sutter the chance to hit her with the Unforgiven for the one, two, three. WINNER: Clyde Sutter BY: Pinfall (Unforgiven), 9:53 |
We open backstage where we find the imposing figure of none other than “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter. The massive Sutter stands upright wearing his all black ring gear and a black trenchcoat. He sports a pair of sunglasses. A cold, emotionless, stoic gaze is etched across his chizeled features as he glares at the camera.
Clyde Sutter:
The folly of everyone in this industry is that people compete, they fight, they put everything on the line in the hopes of success, of achieving glory, but the sad truth is that they are all delusional. They are all suffering from the delusion of control. They believe that they control their own fate and if they can just fight hard enough with enough heart and determination then they can create their own destiny, that they can control their fate. But the unfortunate truth is that you cannot control fate. No one can control fate.
The Assassin shakes his head.
Clyde Sutter:
No one controls fate, not even you, Selena Lyre. It is a lesson you will learn the hard way very soon. It doesn’t matter who you surround yourself with, it doesn’t matter who you have whispering into your ear, it doesn’t even matter if you fight on your own. No matter what you do you can only go as far as fate will allow you to go. Everyone has their limitations, including you. So ask yourself, can you get through me? Ask yourself, can you survive The Assassin?
Sutter chuckles.
Clyde Sutter:
That, my dear, is the real question, is it not? It isn’t about whether or not you can win tonight. The question is will I allow you to survive, will FATE allow you to survive? Because time, Selena, is running out. You, like everyone else in MWE, are on borrowed time.
Triple Threat Match
Cloudy VS Marina Marston VS Ava GrimesA fast paced, spectacular and highly entertaining triple threat match between three up and coming wrestlers with a bright future ahead of them. This was probably the best way to describe this match, although saying that their future is going to be bright might be reductive. Their present is very radiant too, and tonight they reminded that to everyone else. We grew familiar with Ava and Marina in last year's edition of The Academy, appreciating their energy and admiring their displays of agility. Tonight their stars had the chance to shine on a greater stage as well, and they didn't disappoint nor crumbled under the pressure. Especially Ava, who truly awed the crowd with her flips and gymnastic tricks were both incredibly useful as a defense mechanism, making her difficult to hit for her opponents, and offensively making her attacks unpredictable and harder to avoid. See the cartwheel kick to the head she knocked Cloudy down with for a long count of two. Despite being still relatively "new to the game", the interviewer-turned-wrestler had the experience advantage on the two former Academy students. She didn't seem to share their sense of urgency, their rush to end this quickly even if it means taking unnecessary risks. Ava attempted a 450 splash on Marina but missed the target and got hit by Marston's Jawbreaker (running knee strike), impacting with Ava's skull and knocking her down. Rina hooked the leg for a deep cover but Lau broke up the pin. Ava looked dazed after the kick to the head, or perhaps she was just scared and began to play it more cautious and careful, given her long history of concussions. Her attacks were now more predictable and slow, thus giving Maldano the chance to dodge a corner attack and counter with her Puff Puff Pass It (corner Yakuza kick) and follow with the Stay Elevated (split-legged corkscrew moonsault) before Marina could make it back in the ring. WINNER: Cloudy BY: Pinfall (Stay Elevated), 9:22 |
We then head to the locker room as it seems the veteran Seth Iser is sitting by himself with a calm expression etched on his face. The man is dressed in a variation of his attire where you see the flags of every country going down his black tights. As the camera approaches him Seth’s mouth curls into a frown from a previously neutral expression. It seems as if the time off the road has done him some wonders though as he’s looking…by his standards healthy.
Seth Iser:
I can’t say I was surprised that two enforcers got involved but it’d be blind egotism to say I could’ve done what happened in Canada on my own. I guess the group as a whole agitated enough people and Anna came to…even things up for lack of a better term. On the surface people wouldn’t entirely expect that but considering how many enemies those pillocks have made? I can’t say I’m surprised. Nor was I surprised by how reckless they were to use interference again even if it risked…making other enemies. Would we have known what happened if nobody ever got involved last week? I have an inkling on how it would’ve played out considering how things were going but considering the match itself?
He just shakes his head with a more neutral expression. There’s still an element of calm over the veteran who has wrestled for over two decades.
Seth Iser:
Well that’s one of the risks you take but that’s also the consequences of screwing with someone’s World Title opportunity. You can claim that I was fortunate…lucky that I was in the position I was but luck always favors the prepared in those kinds of situations. If they didn’t run down…I had a few other tricks…those only reserved when the rulebook is thrown out. I might not like fighting in those kinds of matches with a lot of frequency anymore but…nobody knows more ways to harm another human being than I do.
There’s that brief moment of disappointment as he just offers a shrug but remains seated with his back leaning back on that steel chair. He does relax a little more for a moment putting his feet up on the table but it seems to be to help stretch his legs. The gleam of that black knee brace shines through.
Seth Iser:
But there’s a pause in the battle for the briefcase right now…because tonight there’s a main event tag team match…involving the four of us that have advanced to this point.
The veteran is maintaining this relaxed demeanor that doesn’t have him too emotional one way or another.
Seth Iser:
Hell, BROOKFORD called to see if I could fly in early…work the radio stations, and regional television here in Seoul. I haven’t been here in years, didn’t mind accepting it though. It gives even more time to acclimate to the time and schedule over here as well. It’s always more of a blessing when you’re traveling to a different country with a different timezone to be given that time to adjust even if you’re still working the less talked about parts of our job. So I feel pretty damn good right now.
He finally flashes the semblance of a smirk creeping across his face that has that predatory air to it. There seems to be a level of…enjoyment to what he wants to do.
Seth Iser:
It’s all business really. It’s how I’m approaching this tag match as well…business. Billy Danielson and I are both accomplished professional wrestlers and we’ve both taken very different paths to get to where we’re at. I don’t care which one of us pins someone or who we pin…or submit if the opening is there. We get paid the same either way. He’s the second generation star. Wrestling is literally in the man’s veins and there is a wrestling gene sometimes in our sport. He’s living proof of that. He’s ahead of the mental game even at his age. Then you add my genius to that…as someone who has often traveled the road less ventured to get to where you need to be…that’s a healthy amount of experience. Opposing us is Alex Andrews and Alice Wagner.
The neutral expression returns when he speaks the second name. The feet are off the table as he’s no longer stretching himself but it seems like he’s more thinking something over.
Seth Iser:
You’re a little bit of a surprise, Alice but that’s a real good piece of work there choking out Kimberly Williams. You opened a lot of eyeballs when you pulled that little number off considering who you were facing and the rules you were put in. You apply yourself even further and one day you can go even further in this tournament then you ultimately will. Wrestling world is smiling upon you though. I see it. And the wrestling world has been smiling on Alex Andrews for quite a while now as well…
There’s a frown creeping on Seth’s face as he rubs his chin. He’s leaning back on the chair a little more though, chewing over more thoughts.
Seth Iser:
They’ve been chanting your name more and more at these events, kid. It ain’t a damn fluke either. You upended Melissa Reeves yourself in your pathway here. Commendable. Truly. Just I have full intentions of proving you wrong at the end of the day. You’re as much an obstacle in my way for the briefcase as anybody else. And if and when it’s Billy and I going back to do battle, we’ll gladly cross that bridge when we get there. But we both want to win tonight…enjoy the pay that comes with it…enjoy a night with my family in South Korea after the fact with it…and continue on the path of being a repeat winner of this tournament.
And then the more stern expression comes across his face as he stands up.
Seth Iser:
Kids, you better not look past this tag match…or you’ll lose two matches in one before you even know it. Hell, I hope you two have talked a little about this…I’ve shared some of my insight about you two with Billy in private. He might not need the extra information taking you two on but it makes our job easier. We’re fighting as a team tonight. That’s what you have to try to get by in this challenge. And to bottom line it…there won’t be a damn thing either of you can do to stop us tonight.
That last statement has the usual arrogance and bravado that often made Seth one of the more despised wrestlers of the past couple decades as he has that smirk coming on his face before he walks off.
Tag Team Match
Sisters Of Calamity VS Clyde Eldon Jr. & Erika Eldon
Another tag match, featuring the Eldons taking on the Sisters Of Calamity. Erika and Clyde refused to comment on their mother's wedding with Rainer Nordhagen but clearly knowing that she got married with Erika's ex boyfriend had to be bothering them to some degree. It didn't help that Ashley rubbed it in, asking Erika how she felt about her mom stealing her boyfriend. With that easy but effective taunt the Witch Of Ruin was able to throw Erika off her game just as the young Eldon was making her comeback after a rough staty, getting once again control. She dragged the blonde in her corner. She picked Erika to her shoulder and tagged Caitlyn in. The Deceitful Queen climbed to the top rop from where she jumped, taking Eldon down with a diving clothesline to complete the Doomsday Device. There was a clear shift in the momentum when Clyde entered the ring. His size and power allowed him to completely change the tide here, planting Sage on the ground with a big Samoan Drop. CEJ followed with an elbow drop that gave him a count of two. The Eldons showed some tag team maneuvers as well, obtaining another near fall with a superplex into a frog splash. But The SoC weren't going down so easily, their determination to assert themselves as legit contenders in the tag division helped them go through that difficult time and eventually come back on top when Caitlyn dodged Erika's flying headbutt and picked up the young woman in a Style's Clash position. Caitlyn Sage entered the ring and connected a vicious punt kick to Erika's head as her fellow SoC dropped Eldon completing the Last Sacrifice. WINNER: Sisters Of Calamity BY: Pinfall (Last Sacrifice), 10:07 |
The sound of sinister laughter can be heard in the boiler room area of the arena. Eventually a singular figure emerges into the light. This figure is wearing a purple suit jacket, a black silk button up shirt, a green plaid knee length skirt, and black high heeled boots. This is “The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams. The self-proclaimed Queen of the Death Match has her SCW Underground Championship title belt wrapped around her waist, her HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt draped over her left shoulder, and the ZION Hardcore Championship title belt draped over her right shoulder. A sinister grin is etched across her lovely face.
Kimberly Williams:
There is only order and chaos. That’s really the only two options you have in this crazy world. Chaos truly is the only fair option because you can tilt order into your favor if you know the right strings to pull. Trust me, I know. My own mother was once a master puppeteer back in her day. So there isn’t any political trick I haven’t witnessed. But chaos? Chaos is fair. Chaos levels the playing field for everyone. I was given the reins of power in Supreme Championship Wrestling and I brought chaos, and it leveled the playing field! I was given the reins of power in MWE Riot once and it leveled the playing field even if for a brief moment. And if ol’ Brookyford has the balls, he’d give me a chance to book Millennium, give me a chance to bring more chaos to MWE. You will see that chaos is fair. The thing about chaos is that it really is fair to everyone. And you never know what might happen. Even a blind squirrel named Alice Wagner might get that nut once in awhile.
She smirks.
Kimberly Williams:
Alice, if you think more ORDER is what MWE needs to restore truth, justice, and that crap to this company then you, my friend are delusional. Whether its APE or the current saturday morning cartoon villains of the day The Division…oops, sorry, I forgot the hashtag, sue me…all of them rely upon ORDER to achieve their goals. Even if you or someone else manages to stop them, it will just be matter of time before some other fuck nugget comes around, brings together a bunch of his overweight drinking buddies, comes up with a stupid ass name, and run roughshod over this place by relying upon ORDER. Rinse, recycle, repeat. I mean, come on! Can’t MWE come up with something a little different around here?!
Williams points to herself.
Kimberly Williams:
That’s where I come in! I am about as different as I come! And while winning the briefcase would have been the quickest and easiest path, make no mistake about it that my goal remains the same…I will remove order and replace it with beautiful, glorious chaos! ORDER is what we have now! CHAOS is what you will soon have when I am done burning this son of a bitch to the ground!
She points to the camera.
Kimberly Williams:
And you’re next on the list, Donny Boy. Do you think by becoming just another cookie cutter copy of the rest of those baboons in…THA DIVISION….protects you? You think that by becoming another follow like the rest of those simps in….THA DIVISION…makes you safe? No, no, no, Donny Boy, nothing changes. You are still a victim. Whether you are among those idiots or not, you are still just a victim. Because I am different, Donny Boy. I am not some hero looking to win a match or stop some villain dead in his tracks. I am a psychopath looking to create as much havoc as humanly possible. If I win in the process, then great. If not?
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams:
AS LONG AS I MAIM YOU AND A FEW OF YOUR FUCKWAD FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY THEN I’M HAPPY!
Williams skips away happily.
Singles Match
Kimberly Williams VS Donovan KeaneNot the first time these two met, they had several spouts in the past both in singles, tag and obviously hardcore matches. And while the score in their past matches was definitely in Kim's favor, it was a new Donnie she was facing tonight, and not just for the new bleached hair. Joining The Division gave the man a new purpose and determination, and you could see that in that hyper-aggressive start he had, when he almost knocked Williams out with a running european uppercut in the corner. The Woman Scorned dropped seated in the corner, where she got hit with several stomps to the head by Donnie. Keane quickly dragged the former Chicago Way champion to her feet and lifted her in the air, dropping Williams down with a falcon arrow. If the first half was all Donnie, the second part of the match saw Kimberly taking the lead, hitting the Division member with stiff kicks to the body and eventually flooring him with the Morrigan's Wrath (Superkick). Keane rolled out of the ring and shook his head in frustration. By standing there he turned into a sitting duck for Williams' baseball slide that pushed him into the barricade. Here he got somewhat of a break slamming her head into the rail. That was where the match took a turn, with Donovan lifting the ring skirt and retrieving a chair, which he slammed on Kimberly's head. WINNER: Kimberly Williams BY: DQ, 8:57 |
The scene moves to what seems to be a very plush, extravagant bedroom with Paula 'The Prodigy' Parker laying in bed with the blankets pulled up to her neck. She coughs a few times and then does her best to blink, to clear her vision. She did NOT look healthy, or like she was in South Korea!
Paula Parker:
Hello. It is with great regret that I must inform the wonderful audience that I'm NOT in South Korea. I'm sure you could tell, with this being a much more beautiful room than any place in that venue, but since the IQ level is probably lower than Xavier Laroux's, I wanted to deliver this message with transparency.
Another cough, this one seems a little forced and maybe put on, but Paula wasn't an actress of the year or anything.
Paula Parker
Tonight was supposed to be the first ever face to face meeting of myself and Xavier Laroux. A legend. A superstar. An Icon...against a former junkie and a well renowned loser. It would have been an honor to welcome him back to Millennium the only way I know how, by winning another match, but, it seems just as I was preparing to board my private jet to South Korea, I came down with something. I met with my doctor immediately, the esteemed Doctor Lyle Parker of Parker & Practice, a family business of course, and he informed me that there was no way I could wrestle, or travel to South Korea.
At this point, the fans in attendance, watching this transmitted message were booing with all they could muster as the 'Prodigy' continued to feed them excuse after excuse.
Paula Parker:
So tonight, Xavier, you get off easily. Instead of leaving with a loss, on your back, and utterly embarassed, you get a vacation, where you're getting paid, and one where you now have the time to sit back and think about what will actually happen when I'm medically cleared. Oh, and just in case anyone thinks I'm making this up, you know, to weasel out of the match, I have an actual doctors note to prove I'm telling the truth.
Paula puts on a pained expression as she pulls her arms out of the blanket and holds up an official Parker & Practice headed note with a doctors signature scribbled on it. It excuses her from physical activity, such as wrestling and travel, specially noted in the document of course.
Paula Parker:
While this unfortunate medical condition is keeping me from entertaining everyone tonight, I can assure you, by the next show, I should be ready to go, and I'm under the understanding that the match with Xavier has been postponed until further notice, so whoever it is I'm facing at the next show, best of luck. And Xavier? I'm sure we'll be seeing each other very, very soon.
The 'Prodigy' coughs again and gives an exagerrated wave to the camera as it fades out from her bedroom and returns back to South Korea, to a chorus of boos from now disappointed fans who won't see the in-ring return of Xavier Laroux tonight afterall.
Singles Match
Paula Parker VS Xavier LarouxXavier Laroux shook his head after watching Paula's segment, seemingly not buying the Doctor's Note excuse she just provided. He apologized to the fans, both those in attendance and those watching at home, leaving the ring after promising that Paula may have gotten away with it this time, but soon the time for her to face Your Favorite Drug will come. And then, there will be nowhere to run for The Prodigy. WINNER: // BY: Match Cancelled |

“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page is on her private jet with her feet resting on Duke Andrews’ lap and Alan Envy is laying on the couch sleeping with a sleep mask over his eyes. Tiffany looks at Alan, she chuckles, and looks back at Duke.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Did you really have to draw a penis on Alan’s sleep mask?
Duke smiles and nods his head yes.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page: (Smiles)
You’re evil but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the two of you.
Duke shrugs his shoulders and nods his head in agreement.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Are you excited, babe? After summer break we are stepping back into a MWE ring? And what makes it even better is that Karen’s old, wrinkly ass is off carrying another child she will no doubt ignore and neglect. I am sure child protective services will be watching her. Knowing that we can finally put her trolling ass behind us.Now that I focus solely on what I am doing it is time for me to get some MWE gold around my waist and what better way to do that is to get a big win against Andrew Raynes and Ahayla Patel? Both who are accomplished in their own right but I doubt either of you want like I do. Because since I was stripped of the World Tag Team titles because of injury I have been craving another MWE Championship. Whether it is the Junior Heavyweight CHampionship, the Riot Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, Cloud Gate Championship. Something that gets gold around my waist and a step closer to the MWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Duke’s eyebrows go up as he looks at Tiffany.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
I know, I know, babe? Are you surprised that I want to be World Champion too? Obviously if you get there before I do I would be just as excited as if I have it…Considering what is yours is mine and what's mine is mine when I don’t want to share it with you.
Duke begins tickling Tiffany’s feet.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page: (Laughing)
Stop it!
Duke smiles as he stops tickling Tiffany.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:In all seriousness though all of you in MWE can rest assured that the three of us in this plane have let a lot of things go over the past year or so when it comes to all the things we want. Now that the troll is gone and the boys are refocused we will get what we want.
Triple Threat Match
Andrew Raynes VS Tiffany Lynn-Page VS Ahalya PatelOne of the most intriguing matches of the night saw the Chicago Way champion Ahalya Patel taking on Andrew Raynes and Tiffany Lynn-Page. The Toughest Out swung forearm strikes lefts and rights, rocking both women before taking them down with a double clothesline. He then focused on the champion, throwing her in the corner and hitting her with a jumping knee strike to the face. He attempted to run toward the center of the ring dragging Patel along for a bulldog but he charged right into a dropkick from Lynn-Page that knocked him down. The Diva then went to pick up the champ and almost got pinned with an inside cradle, from which she kicked out in two and half. The Indian Queen stepped up to the challenge and proved why she's been champion for so long, keeping Raynes at bay with some kicks and then slamming Page into the ground with the Back Throw. Her intention was to attack Tiffany one more time but Raynes hit her from behind with a chop block to the injured knee, taking her down. Raynes crouched in the corner, preparing himself to hit the champion with his Code Of The Sith but before he could make the sprint, he got struck down from behind by... Olly! The Division member had grabbed Patel's title and drove it on Andrew's skull, knocking him down. With Raynes down, Ahalya could then focus on Tiffany and hit her with the En Femina (540 kick), picking up the win. WINNER: Ahalya Patel BY: Pinfall (En Femina), 10:07 |
Backstage Alan Envy is pacing back and forth as he keeps checking his phone. He had tried to reach his brother from a different daddy Duke Andrews all day with no answer. He talked to Tiffany Page earlier who ensured Envy Duke will be here. Her words did make him feel better but the least the handsome son of a bitch could do was reach out
Alan Envy:
Son of a bitch where are you?
Envy begins getting ready for his match and after taping his wrists and adjusting his ring entrance jacket he looks down at his phone again. He sees his usual good luck text from Britney Anders which always made him feel good. He realizes that Duke isn't going to respond to him. He was angry, and turned off his phone and threw it into his locker room. He walked over to the room door and slammed it shut. He was not a happy camper. Suddenly…
What in the fuck have you become?
Envy looked towards where the voice came from and saw his image in the mirror. Yet it wasn't him, but it was him. The mirror Envy looked at Alan Envy in disgust.
So are you going to answer me or do you need to wait for Duke to call you and approve? How about Britney? Since you've allowed her to put your balls in her purse
Alan Envy:
Motherfucker who do you think….?
Who do I think I'm talking to? I'm not sure. But I know got damn good and well I am not talking to Alan fucking Envy. You're not him. You're just someone who wants to stay in the shadows now and use the excuse you're only here to work with younger talent or with your friends. You used to be the most savage and best wrestler in this business, feared and respected.
Envy kind of looked off to the side then turned back to his image in the mirror.
Look at you in Millenium alone. You won a tag team title big fucking deal. You have more talent and business acumen than over half this roster. You allow people like Ollie, Karen Eldon and fucking Seth Iser….you know that joke you soent all that time in NEW with who couldnt lacebyour booots, to surpass you. And now because you're so worried about where Duke Andrews is, another guy who yeah is a great friend to you yet you know he isn't as good as you that has surpassed you on the ladder, instead of focusing on Justice Hardy. Someone you should wipe the mat with in 2 minutes flat.
Alan didn't want to listen to his mirror self, but whatever this was speaking to him did make sense. Did he really need Duke with him against Justice Hardy? He was looking weak, and foolish.
Fuck everyone else, fuck Duke Andrews. Forget about Tiffany Page, and keep Britney in your personal life. Go out there and be Alan Envy, go be the champion you know you can be. Go back to being a fucking man
Envy blinked and out his reflection looking back at him in the very mirror occupied by his pep talk companion that just happened. He realizes now that someone was breaking down his door. He opened it and there stood Duke and Tiffany. He stared at them for a moment and then shook it off. Duke asked him if he was ready. Alan said yes and walked out of the locker room to join his APE mates.

Alan Envy (w/ Duke Andrews) VS Jvstice HardyAs seen last week, BROOKFORD's first act as General Manager was to re-sign Duke Andrews to a new contract. He followed that up by placing him in Alan Envy's corner tonight while, at the same time, banning any and every member of The Division from coming anywhere close to the ring, leaving Jvstice all by himself and at a disadvantage, showing a clear change of course from the days when Savell's group was pretty much doing whatever they wanted. Andrews taunted Hardy with that, reminding him that he was now alone and his buddies couldn't help him out here. A constant distraction that managed to throw Jvstice off his game, giving Alan the chance to club him with a shot to the back of the head. The Lonestar then began to work on Jvstice's neck, hitting him with neck breakers and some nasty angled DDTs. The deck was stacked against him, but Hardy fought well and smart, dropping Alan neck first onto the top rope with a flapjack and then planted the groggy Envy on his head with a springboard tornado DDT, scoring a near fall. Again Duke tried to get involved, or pretended to just to buy his friend some time. He got a kick to the face for his troubles, but the plan eventually worked out as it gave Alan time to recover and drop Hardy to the mat with a German Suplex. As he made it to his feet, Envy then kicked him in the stomach and put him down with the Envious DDT, picking up a big win on his first match in quite some time. WINNER: Alan Envy BY: Pinfall (Envious Demise), 11:03 |
PREVIOUSLY RECORDED…
In a hotel room in South Korea, Billy Danielson sits in a chair, just soaking in the silence for a bit before going out on the town with some of the MWE roster. His eyes start to close and nod off, when randomly he gets a knock at the door. He looks confused and a bit upset, but he gets up and goes to the door. When he opens it there is no one there. He isn’t ruling out the spirits of the spooky season coming to get him, but then he sees a package left at the door. Billy looks confused at the white bubble envelope as he picks it up and turns back into the room. On the envelope it reads “From Seth”. BIlly opens it and dumps the contents on his bed, revealing a bunch of thick folders.
Billy Danielson:
What the hell is all of this? I was expecting matching gear or something, not a whole dead tree.
Billy flips the folders and they read “Scouting Report: Alex Andrews” and “Scouting Report: Alice Wagner”. He flips through the different reports, but they’re like 20-plus pages each of reports. Billy tries to skim what he can, but it’s very overwhelming for a guy who was about to fall asleep in a chair a few minutes ago.
Billy Danielson:
I’m not reading all that, but I’m glad he thought of me. For a guy who is gunning to end my career, he definitely knows how to be a professional and a good teammate.
Billy shakes his head.
Billy Danielson:
But what can I expect from a guy who’s been building wrestler dossiers for the last 20 years? Definitely makes me confident for our match, not that I had any doubts to begin with. I said it before, Seth and I are the favorites for this match and this tournament, and I know he and I both want nothing more than to win in Seoul.
He smirks at the thought of teaming with a future foe at MWE 122, but in reality, Alice and Alex can/will be future foes in the Battle for the Briefcase as well, so maybe he’ll keep those reports just in case. The curiosity starts to weigh on him, seeing as he still has some time before his plans require his attendance. He grabs the smaller one of the folders and starts to go through it.
Billy Danielson:
Alice Wagner is just a baby. That’s wild. Good for her for beating Kimbo. That’s a big freaking win because Kim is almost as old as Seth is. I remember getting my first taste of “Legend Killer” status, but I hope she knows the buck ends here now. If Seth has all this on her, I’m sure he’s got a game plan already set-
He pauses as he turns the page to what is coincidentally Seth’s game plan.
Billy Danielson:
Yeah, exactly. He’s already got a plan to exploit the experience advantage. I’m not a supervillain, so I won’t go into detail, but with a bit of tweaking from The Franchise, I already see W’s in our future.
Billy smirks as he grabs the bigger folder, bouncing it in one hand to show how heavy it is.
Billy Danielson:
Yep, that’s Alex’s all right. I wonder if he has a page about how much of a bitch she is.
Danielson laughs at his joke for a second, but it drops as his eyes get wide seeing the amount of information in the report.
Billy Danielson:
I already knew she hated me because I line-jumped her a couple of years ago in Riot, and she never thanked me for softening up Lil Pierce for her, but it is what it is. Alex and I know each other pretty well. I don’t need a report to tell you that Seth and I have thi-
Danielson pauses to read the next page and he chuckles.
Billy Danielson:
I didn’t even think of doing that. Genius. You can tell Seth has a friend in like the CIA or something.
Billy gets a notification on his phone beckoning him to the streets of Seoul.
Billy Danielson:
Yeah, I was confident before, but now it feels like an absolute at this point. Seth and I just have so much experience, and if he’s going this in-depth, once we properly make a strategy for y’all at the show it’ll be like Batman with prep-time. Alex and Alice, you two are just going to have to start focusing on the next round of the tournament because you ladies aren’t winning this exhibition tag match, there’s just no wa-
He tosses Alex’s scouting report on the bed, which causes a note that he missed to fly out of the envelope. Billy raises an eyebrow as he picks it up. Conveniently, he reads it out loud to those at home who can’t read the note.
Billy Danielson:
Billy,
I hope this finds you well. I figured we should start planning for our match. I know you’re just as interested in getting the win as I am, which means by any means necessary. I don’t care who pins or who hits what move so long as we have a cohesive plan. Enclosed in this envelope are some abridged scouting reports of our opponents. Read them over and meet with me sometime this week for prep work.
Billy looks confused for a second and rereads one specific word.
Billy Danielson:
ABRIDGED? ABRIDGED MY ASS!!! HOW MUCH MORE INFO CAN HE HAVE??? HE HAS THEIR DAMN BLOOD TYPE IN THESE THINGS!!!
He shakes his head in a nearly disgusted shock.
Billy Danielson:
Maybe I do need to step my scouting game up, especially if this is the abridged version of what he has on Alex and Alice. The man has said that he wants to be the one that sends me packing from MWE in this tournament, so I’m almost scared of what he has on me. I’m sure it’s a novel series at this point. That’s fine though, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. This showed me his hand, and now I’ll get some first-hand experience with him in this match. Then maybe I’ll get some scouting dirt on him throughout the week for when we inevitably face each other in the Battle for the Briefcase. I refuse to have my career end here by any of these people. Alice, Alex, or Seth. Batman prep-plans or not!
Billy’s phone starts to go off again and he grabs it to head down to the lobby.
Tag Team Match
Seth Iser & Billy Danielson VS Alex Andrews & Alice Wagner
The four semi-finalists of the Battle For The Briefcase tournament fought in an interesting main event. In a few days they will compete inside a cage, looking to earn the two spots in Dark Web's main event for the Briefcase, one of the most prestigious and important prizes in the company. It feels kind of odd to see Alice Wagner standing next to some pillars of the company, so deep at this point of the tournament, but the rookie, perhaps the greatest talent to come out of The Academy, definitely earned her place here, and she kept proving it in the first part of this match. Iser had every advantage on her, size, strength, power and experience. And yet, Wagner seemed to know every one of his moves in advance, and apparently had a counter for any of them. Even when he finally got her up for the Icebreaker, Alice was able to slip behind his back and quickly shoved him toward the corner, sending him into his own tag partner. Wasting no time she jumped on his back and dragged him down into a backstabber, looking to lock in her patented Severed Wings. She succeeded in her goal, causing the fans to literally pop at the possibility of seeing her making Iser tap out, but Billy wasn't taking any chance and slid back in the ring, kicking her head. Billy and Alex had the chance to shine as well, delighting the fans with five minutes of intense back and forth. Andrews seemed to have gotten the upper hand, leaving Danielson dazed after a series of kicks. When she went for the Elysium (running bicycle kick), Billy took a step aside and dodged the impact, grabbing Alex by the arm and pulling her into a big side slam. As expected, there wasn't much team work between the four individuals, even though Alex and Alice tried to worked together, the chemistry just wasn't there and a Seth took advantage of a miscommunication between the two to plant Alex with his Pillar Of Truth. Close to the twenty minutes mark, the four semi-finalists were joined by some unexpected and unwanted guests. The Division walked out on the stage, apparently to just watch the match. Perhaps this was their way to send a message to whoever will win the Battle For The Briefcase, telling them that while the reward gives them a huge chance to take the title away from Julian's grasp, they won't only be dealing with the champ, but with alll of them as well. Jvstice and McKena Hardy, Alice's cousins, were there as well but the young girl didn't let this distract her. Instead, The Division's appearance distracted Billy, allowing Wagner to connect her Severed Wings. Seth tried to return the courtesy from earlier but Alex stopped him with the Elysium. Eventually Billy gave up, perhaps just to limit the risk of injury so close to the finishing line. WINNER: Alice Wagner & Alex Andrews BY: Submission (Severed Wings), 23:16 |
