Tag Team Match
Those Damned LeBeaus VS Mystery Opponents
Always the crowd pleasers, and not just for their good looks, the LeBeau sisters paid homage to the country they were in. Leia's outfit reminded that of a Flamenco dancer while her younger sister was wearing a Real Madrid jersey with the number 9 and the name "BEBEnzema" printed on her back. They waited for their opponents with a mix of curiosity and nervousness, looking puzzled as everyone else when a couple of jocks walked through the curtains. Rumchata Ayano announced them as Leo Brooks and Noah Leiffsen, collectively known as "The Brookson Wrestling Company". The duo definitely made a good first impression with an interesting mix of power and technical ability, with Noah doing the heavy work and Leo wearing Bebe down with submissions holds. The former cameragirl was screaming in pain as Brooks twisted her foot with an ankle lock, until Leia saved her with a superkick. Those Damned LeBeaus eventually turned the tables and regained control, coming close to the win with a double Seattle Slutdrop and a double pin. Of course only Leia's one on Noah counted, but Leo kicked out just at the same moment. Another convincing performance from the LeBeaus, definitely a team to keep your eyes on for the near future, even though in the end they came up short when Bebe's hurricanrana attempt got blocked by Noah who then violently slammed her into the mat with his Finale Bomb (Jackknife Powerbomb). WINNER: The Brookson Wrestling Company BY: Pinfall (Finale Bomb), 10:25 |
Backstage we find Kimberly Williams stepping into the scene from the right. The demented ginger is wearing her crimson red and black wrestling gear. She has her SCW Underground Championship title belt wrapped around her waist and her HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt draped over her right shoulder. A sinister smirk is etched across her face. She is carrying her deadly weapon, Wasley the penguin, with her.
Kimberly Williams:
Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. I have heard it from Elsa and so many others week in and week out about this Briefcase…oh think of the history! Everyone that has had the briefcase became world champion! That’s not what I take away from it.
She shakes her head.
Kimberly Williams:
What I take from the history of the briefcase is that just about everyone who ever had that briefcase became quite the dick because of the immense power that they had over the booking. In fairness to Julian Savell, he was already a worthless piece of shit to begin with. The Battle for the Briefcase is coming up and everyone is dreaming, salivating over the possibility of becoming World Champion, of getting that golden ticket that practically guarantees them the championship. I, too, am salivating over possibly being chosen to enter this chase. I, too, am hoping and praying that the MWE Gods choose me to participate in this tournament! But I am not salivating over potentially becoming World Champion. Hell, I could care less if I ever become World Champion in my career. I don’t need a big gold belt to prove to anyone that I am one of the best wrestlers in the world. I know what I am capable of, not just in a death match environment but also in a typical wrestling match. Just I told Melissa Reeves…I can go, I can hang with the best. I didn’t beat Reeves but I pushed her to her limit.
Kim smirks knowingly.
Kimberly Williams:
The World Title isn’t my goal. But having that power over MWE booking for a year? Oh yes, now THAT is something I salivate over! Remember that Riot card I booked? Imagine an entire calendar year of that! Picture it…an entire year of CHAOS! If I am chosen to participate…and damn it I hope I am…that is what I am fighting for! I am fighting for the opportunity to rule this place with an iron fist and I am gonna rule it with a lot more flash and pizazz than any of those other losers who held it in the past.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams:
But FIRST I probably have to prove my worth…I mean, I did lose to Melsy last Millennium. Losing to ol’ Reevesy isn’t a shame. She’s a former world champion. But only winners get opportunities and I need to prove myself worthy of this Battle.
Kim points a finger at the camera.
Kimberly Williams:
Darcy Graves! You are the unlucky victim…err I mean contestant chosen to play my sick little game! So come on down and enjoy the fight of your life!
Williams skips away happily.
Singles Match
Darcy Graves VS Kimberly WilliamsNot a lot to say here, this match was dominated by Kim from bell to bell. The difference between the two was eveident from the very first moment when Williams took the opponent down with an arm drag and then laid in a series of stomps and knee drops. Both competitors were coming from a run of bad form, but unlike Darcy. Kim seemed to have the determoination necessary to turn the tide. A Morrigan's Wrath (superkick) gave the Woman Scorned a first near fall. There was a comeback attempt from Darcy, culminating in a northern lights suplex for a count of two. But after that it was once again all Kimberly until the very end, coming relatively quickly with the Shadowblade (running knee strike) that allowed Kim to bounce back after the loss suffered one week ago against Melissa Reeves. WINNER: Kimberly Williams BY: Pinfall (Shadowblade), 6:26 |
Backstage Noah had his gut clutched with his forearm. Some of his hair got free and hung down the side of his face. He wiped his brow and collected two bottles from a staff member carrying a 12 pack.
His step brother Leo walked in-frame and caught the bottle that came his way.
Noah Leiffson:
That's how you make an impact.
He remarked with a slight gasp. While he guzzled a third of the bottle Leo put his hand on Noah's shoulder.
Leo Brooks:
I'd say we made our first impression.
'The Lumberjock' sat down just before Noah did: both wrestlers took a load off on the comfortable chairs in the locker room.
Leo Brooks:
Noah. The Brooksson Wrestling Company is technically undefeated.
Noah Leiffson:
And this is a bigger level up to the circuit work. These chairs, our own locker room, only thing is I could use a cold one.
That's when a girl with a headset showed up just outside the locker room. She was shy and having a starstruck moment of meeting someone from TikTok/IG/YT in person. That person would be Leo and she had a bucket of ice containing six visible beer bottles.
Leo Brooks:
I gotcha covered.
Noah took the beer Leo passed him and used the chair's arm rest to pop the cap off. In contrast, Leo used the one the lovely woman had brought.
Leo Brooks:
Thank you for these. Did you get them?
Leo asked Noah who shrugged. The woman quickly answered.
MWE Talent Staff:
I got them in this morning. I saw you drinking them quite often in your recent videos so I took a chance.
Noah Leiffson:
Great instincts, Miss. Are these guys sponsoring you now, LJ?
Leo was mid swig and shook his head while he swallowed that cool, tasty, refreshing hit.
Leo Brooks:
Nah. Maybe they will now after what we did out there. Thanks for getting these to us though, I'll have to pay you back or pay it forward somehow.
He said while he took another bottle out. His step-brother kindly forked out a bill and passed it to her.
Noah Leiffson:
Here, we appreciate the welcome.
She initially refused but Noah gestured for her to take it. After she did she thanked them both.
MWE Talent Staff:
Thank you. Noah. Thank you. See you around Leo.
She exited and Noah smirked at her giddiness as Leo blindly popped open another beer.
Leo Brooks:
I can definitely get used to this.
Noah Leiffson:
I think we'll do okay here. Yeah. This is going to be a sweet start.
They sit back and the pair begin talking, laughing and drinking together.
Fade to black.

"Born for Greatness" by Papa Roach plays as the crowd buzzes, as the crowd goes nuts. The first verse plays out, causing more anticipation. As the verse comes to the end it pauses for a moment. All of the lights go out again, but then come right back on in full brightness!!!
NO WE'RE NOT NAMELESS
WE'RE NOT FACELESS
WE WERE BORN FOR GREATNESS!!!
Suddenly, Billy "The G.O.A.T." Danielson walks out from behind the curtain to a huge pop, as he makes his way down to the ring. He's in a fine suit, so he’s obviously not doing an open challenge this time around. Danielson hi-fives many fans, acknowledging those he misses as he makes his way to the ring. Billy grabs a microphone from a ring hand, before heading up the steps, brushing his feet, and entering the ring. He looks around at the crowd and smiles as the fans cheer for him.
Billy Danielson:
MADRID!!!
He looks down awkwardly as he tries to laugh off his current frustration. He was so used to being a big name and multi-time champion, like he has in other companies. However, lately he has been on a bigt of a losing streak.
Billy Danielson:
I’m going to be real with all of you. About a year ago, I was throwing around the idea of retiring. My name wasn’t holding the stock it used to, I was stagnant here in Millenium and Mainstream, and in UWL I was struggling to compare to some of the bigger names on their roster.
Despite the frustration he tries to put on a brave face.
Billy Danielson:
But then I won the Mainstream Television Championship and the UWL World Championship, and despite still being stagnant here, I felt like myself again.
That brave face waivers as Billy looks down again, trying to find his words.
Billy Danielson:
However, that’s over now. Mainstream is on hiatus, in UWL i’m on a 5 match losing streak, and my biggest claim to fame here is a shocking debut 2 years ago and a feud that ended in a stalemate.
Danielson scoffs at how minimal his run in Millenium has been.
Billy Danielson:
I don’t want to be dramatic, but I’m one of those people that went into this industry saying I would leave when this isn’t fun anymore. I’ve only got a few prime years left and I’m not looking to over-punch my bump-card so bad that I end up in a wheelchair…
Billy is really struggling to talk here. The Madrid fans try to console Billy by cheering for him, but it’s only enough for him to smile.
Billy Danielson:
I am heavily considering retirement…
The fans boo because they don’t want to see Billy quit. He still has so much he can achieve here in their eyes, but Danielson doesn’t seem to see it. Or does he?
Billy takes a deep breath as he smiles and looks into the hard camera.
Billy Danielson:
BUT I’M NOT THERE YET!!!
The fans explode in excitement as Billy tries to hype them up even more.
Billy Danielson:
I may be on the losing end of a lot here, but I refuse to go quietly into the night. I refuse to let myself succumb to stagnation without doing ANYTHING about it. I refuse to retire because I’m not living up to my own potential. I REFUSE!!!
Electricity runs through the crowd as Billy looks around with fire in his eyes.
Billy Danielson:
This may be my last run in this industry, so I’m going to give it my all… and that’s why I AM DECLARING MYSELF FOR BATTLE FOR THE BRIEFCASE!!!
Again the crowd pops and Billy stares directly into the camera.
Billy Danielson:
I’M EITHER WINNING THAT BRIEFCASE… OR I’M DONE!!!
With that Billy flips his microphone and starts to walk out. He thanks the spaniard fans for being so kind as he makes his way to the back.

Singles Match
Tiffany Lynn-Page VS Aislinn FinFirst match back for the former MENTV champion after her wedding against Tiffany Lynn-Page, eager to rebound after last week's loss against Noa Skye. Page floored the younger opponent with a superkick right out of the gates and attempted an early cover, only getting a two count. The Irish native fought back with a striking combination, eventually knocking Tiffany over the top rope with a clothesline and following with a dive to the outside. Ash came close to the win with her Madra Rua (running crossbody), but the Diva kicked out at the last moment. The veteran rolled out of the ring to regroup, luring Finn-Pearce into going for another dive to the outside. Tiffany countered her flying attack with a massive kick to the head that left Aislinn hanging on the middle rope. Tiffany quickly entered the ring and hit a German suplex for another count of two. The former Tag champion kept on pushing, coming once again close to the win with the Hottie Bomb before finally putting the opponent down with the Sex In The City (codebreaker). WINNER: Tiffany Lynn-Page BY: Pinfall (Sex In The City), 9:09 |
Loud Rammstein music blares as the pre-recorded footage took us in a characteristic German Biergarten. The place is packed with people drinking, singing and in general having a great time. The footage is shaky and the quality could definitely use an improvement, even for some amateur filming. We get to see an overview of the happy crowd before the phone recording is turned to the face of the person holding it.
Obviously, it's everyone's favorite German Till Schlotterbeck.
Till Schlotterbeck:
Hallo meine Freunde!
He yells out, holding the phone in one hand and a pint of beer in the other one.
Till Schlotterbeck:
It's been a minute since Devon Slayton put me through that table and forced me to take a few weeks off...
As he says that, he massages he cracks his neck, a grimace of pain appearing briefly on his face.
Till Schlotterbeck:
Forced because, if it was up to me, I would have been back the week after to kick Slayton's ass all over Amsterdam, but you know the doctors... Always being too cautious... Scheiße!
He decided to drown the rest of curse words with a long sip of beer.
Till Schlotterbeck:
But as you can see I'm doing just fine. I would've loved to come to Madrid for a couple of cervezas with my Spanish friends but.. MWE is coming here to Germany next, so I thought I would just wait for you all over here.
A loud "Till! Till!" chant erupts from his fellow Germans in the biergarten.
Till Schlotterbeck:
This is just an anticipation of what you will find in Berlin, Devon and Ahalya. That's right, I just got words from management that the three of us will be having some fun tigether at Zeitgeist... I can't wait to see you here guys, PROST!
He raises his pint as he screams that. Every single patron in the Biergarten does the same, bellowing their roar in unison.
Singles Match
Jessica Carter VS Melissa ReevesMel and Jessica were no stranger to each other, having crossed paths in Underground before its closing. The first part of the match saw the two of them attempting with little success to break through the opponent's defense, but the deep knowledge of each other's moveset and mannerism made it so that neither of them could get the edge. Every technical exchange ended up in a stalemate, every back and forth had more missed strikes and parried blows than those that successfully landed. The first pinfall attempt was made by Jessica with her Veneno, but Reeves kicked out in two. The pace picked up in the second part of the contest as Jessica's risk-taker attitude came out. Unfortunately for her, the diving crossbody attempt was intercepted with a dropkick by the former World champion. Mel pulled out the big guns, connecting the Reaver Slam and a Frankensteiner in rapid succession, even though neither of those was enough to keep Carter down. Reeves stayed on the attack, resisting the Fashion Guru's comeback attempt and blocking her Bonne Nuit, pushing Jess into the ropes and balsting her with the Magnitude Nine on the rebound. WINNER: Melissa Reeves BY: Pinfall (Magnitude Nine), 10:22 |
We cut to a pre-recorded video from the heart of Madrid where we find Karen Eldon and her fiance, Rainer Nordhagen enjoying their trip to Spain. With a pen in hand Karen sits in a chair out by a pool looking through a list, marking it off.
Karen Eldon:
Absolutely no way she is coming…She would totally throw off the entire style of the wedding. Not to mention her gift would be cheap...Plus her nose…God it’s so big.
Karen shakes her head marking off another person off the list, as the camera pans to show the list of ‘Wedding Not Invited’ lists. As we watch as Karen strikes out her own Grandma off the list based on the prior statement.
Karen Eldon:
I think in terms of the roster itself I’d be fine with anyone from the Division. Of course Olly and Faith will be invited! Then we can invite all of our other friends, your family.
It takes a second as Karen thinks about it in her head realizing she likely has no other friends. Rainer relaxing with some shades over his face, shirt off next to her listens as she goes on about it.
Karen Eldon:
Obviously the less of my family there the better…No Clyde, no Erika, no Violet…None of them will be invited. It’ll just be us and all of our closest friends.
Rainer Nordhagen:
They should still have to pay for gifts on the registry…
Rainer remarks as Karen nods as she marks off a few more people off the list, which seems to be pretty much the entire world.
Karen Eldon:
Australia will be lovely for our wedding babe! I think it’s so romantic that I get to become your wife in Australia. And I want the whole world to see us do it, so they can be so jealous that our love is better than all of theirs.
The two seemingly put a date on the wedding with MWE’s upcoming trip to Australia. Karen rolls over on the chair leaning in for a kiss with Rainer which the fans watching likely groan over.
Rainer Nordhagen:
It’ll be the biggest wedding ever, nobody can ruin it.
The two likely tempt the wrestling God’s knowing exactly how wrestling weddings tend to go, the two embracing as a shot of their wedding invites comes
The scene takes us to a lovely little red carpet gala. Cameras are flashing gloriously as a familiar face takes her place in front of the signs reading “Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre” where we see Ahalya Patel standing shimmering in a sage green saree. She smiles flashing several photos as she moves around offering different poses just before the camera shifts angles, next comes more of a profile shot, Ahlaya is staring directly at the camera now as she smiles hoisting the Chicago way title onto her shoulder.
Ahalya Patel:
What’s good Melli-Verse it’s your girl Patelly here, the proud holder of this here Chicago Way Championship and the current international representative for MWE charities overseas, we are attending an event hosted at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre that offers an arts program decorated to the arts here in Mumbai as well as throughout all of India, as well we are helping to establish a wrestling school which offers young Indian men and women a chance to train and learn the craft to hone the future stars in collaboration with MWE’s Academy. Expect to see some of these promising young faces next season when the Academy goes live.
She paused now moving to get some of her hair away from her face her smile remaining true.
Ahalya Patel:
Believe me when MWE tells you it’s attempting to get the best of the worlds future stars on its platform it definitely means it along with this school here I am sure you’ll see even more selective from just the familial names that you are used to seeing come through the academies doors.
She paused before offering a roll of her tongue over her lips.
Ahalya Patel:
All that is to go and say this, I am sorry I couldn’t be there to put on a show for you tonight, but don’t think your girl isn’t taking her duties seriously, while the Chicago Way Championship offers those hardcore perspectives, I believe in the Patelly way in advancing this title further and adding to its meaning, I know Julian and crew have their hands full offering you the dirt and grit you hate to admit you love, but here in Lya’s world, we are gravy baby.”
She laughed then.
Ahalya Patel:
Just because I couldn’t make it Halfway across the world though doesn’t mean that I don’t want to let you know just how excited I am for Zeitgeist, the name alone adds a little umph to my step, not only do I get to show Devon yet again how bad of a draw he got in that Anarchy in the UK match, but I also get to show Till Schlotterbeck just who he is dealing with. I know that mug got himself added to this ish once again, but for some reason you bang him in the head with a few weapons and he takes that as foreplay.
She gives almost a cringe face and mouths to someone behind the camera if she can say that before shrugging her shoulders and carrying on.
Ahalya Patel:
Personally I don’t give a fuck the people in this match have yet to see everything that I’m capable of, sure I’ve learned to adapt to using more physical weapons in exchange of only my hands and feet or my scarf, you’ve yet to see just what these hands are capable of although D got a little taste of it when he faced me the last time. I hold dubs over both of you and Till does hold a little whack-a-doo win over me too so the shit could be interesting if it wasn’t for him having to yet again face me. I’mma do what I always do and I am going to continue lifting this title up, Women like Valkyrie and Kim gave it a little glow and me, imma take it all the way to the top. So bring your best yo, cause the Lionness, babes she’s got this.
She blew kisses to the camera before taking a deep back and adjust her Saree turning on her heel as the scene slowly fades.
Pick Your Poison Match
Addi McKins VS TBAAddison was in the ring when Bey Addams appeared on the tron. The Academy Dropout was already in her ring gear for the upcoming match, but right now she was here to announce Addison's opponent. A surprisong choice, someone Bey had no love for: Anna Daniels. The Time Lord didn't seem to pleased with having to do the dirty work for Addams, but she took on this match with her usual professionalism. The Cloud Gate champion started off strong, using her speed to surprise Daniels and coming close with the upset win with a spirngboard knee strike that caught Anna right on the side of the head. The Muse might have kicked out from that, but she felt the effects of that knee strike for a little longer. McKins tried to take advantage of that with a Falcon Arrow but it only gave her a two count. Anna eventually shook it off and began to build her momentum, knockling down Captain Cloud Gate with a jumping knee strike and climbing to the top rope from where she jumped with the spectacular Cake Or Death? into a legdrop for a very close call. Addison came back with her second wind, creating more than some difficulty to the World championship contender. An excess of confidence led her to make a fatal mistake, attempting a dive from the top rope and getting knocked down by the Interrobang. This time, she couldn't get her shoulders up in time. WINNER: Anna Daniels BY: Pinfall (Interrobang), 16:22 |
Frustrated, Addison slammed her fist on the mat. It wasn't long before that anger turned into an nervous chuckle. Standing up the Cloud Gate champion asked for a microphone. She called out Bey and offered her a slow clap, congratulating her for how she played this. She added that she liked the reasoning behind her choice, and funnily enough, she had a similar thought process. Her opponent is someone she deeply despises. someone she wouldn't mind seeing getting put down, even though it would be even better if he was the one to put her down. Her opponent in this Pick Your Poison match is... Luis Rivera!
Pick Your Poison Match
Bey Addams VS TBAFunny how both competitors had a simlar thought process behind their picks. The history between Addi and Luis was long and well documented, and you can bet that seeing him getting knocked out by Bey would still please her. The Wristlock trainee used her technical background to control the former boxer, working on his right arm to take out his most fearsome weapon. Luis had the strength advantage and was able to power out from her holds and sent her into the ropes, catching her with a spinebuster on the rebound. Luis seemed to have recovered well from the first loss of his career suffered at the hands of the Cloud Gate champion at Anarchy In The Uk, looking eager to get back to his winning ways. On top of that, he displaye some additions to his moveset, now less dependant on those boxing combos. But you could see that this transition was still a work in progress, and a talented wrestler like Bey could easily take advantage of his mistakes to drop him with a hammerlock DDT. Addams was now in control, ready to put Luis down with the Wristlock Hero. The move connected, marking the second defeat in a row for the former Unbeaten Luis Rivera. WINNER: Bey Addams BY: Pinfall (Wristlock Hero), 11:47 |
Backstage here at Millenium, we find ourselves looking in at the Eldon crew, first seeing Erika Eldon in the corner looking as usual in admiration towards Violet Eldon. Who does seem to have become the leader of the three, providing some much needed confidence. But it is Clyde Eldon who is stewing the most, talking towards his cousin and sister.
Clyde Eldon Jr:
I am so sick of these Division guys running around like they own the place. Yet they are like a group of cockroaches, they just seem to multiply more and more…
Erika nods her head in agreement but looks towards Violet for what she has in mind for what they should do, Clyde seeming to be in the same boat.
Violet Eldon:
Yeah, their strength is definitely in numbers. I’m not saying that they are jokes, far from it. But until they have the numbers on their side, you won’t be able to stop them. You’ll need to find more allies.
The older cousin replies, her eyes fixed on Clyde.
Erika Eldon:
We aren’t exactly the most popular people around here because of she who shall not be named…
Erika shakes her head, seeming a bit more discouraged by the Division, then Clyde and Violet are.
Clyde Eldon Jr:
We may not have a ton of allies but they have a lot of enemies…
Violet nods in agreement with what Clyde said.
Violet Eldon:
That’s right, they are ruffling a lot of feathers and they will definitely piss more people off. And yes, your mother may have made things hard for you…
She rolls her eyes.
Violet Eldon:
… Which doesn’t really come as a shock, to be honest. But you two are on the right path of cleaning our family’s name. A few people are already starting to see it, didn’t the twins praise you two recently? And they are like Karen’s worst enemies, so if they saw that you’re nothing like her, soon everyone else will.
Nodding their heads in agreement as Erika gets up and walks over hugging Violet from the side, who somewhat reluctantly accepts the show of affection.
Erika Eldon:
You are a big reason for all of that, you have been a huge help in turning things around for us!
Violet Eldon:
Hahaha, you’re giving me too much credit, Erika.
She smiles down at her younger cousin as they break the hug.
Violet Eldon:
It was only a matter of time before people realized that the only thing you have in common with that woman is the last name. And hopefully even that will change soon.
Clyde Eldon Jr:
We can start by being the solution or at least part of the solution for the Division problem…God those guys are lame.
Clyde shakes his head as Erika and Violet nod their heads in agreement, the three all seeming on the same page regarding bringing down The Division.
One week ago, while announcing the Battle For The Briefcase tournament, Elsa McCarthy said she will reveal some of the participants during tonight's show and finally, moments before the main event, we'll hear from the Millennium General Manager.
Elsa McCarthy:
Buenas noches, Millennium aficionados...
Sitting in her office, Elsa flashed a smile as she greeted the Madrid fans in Spanish.
Elsa McCarthy:
We are one match away from Zeitgeist, our first ever Pay-per-View in Germany, and it's time for us to reveal the official poster for the event.
The camera panned to the right to reveal the graphic art of Zeitgeist. Oddly enough, it doesn't feature the MWE World champion and the contenders, showing instead the faces of Seth Iser, Alex Andrews and the MWE graduate Alice Wagner.
Elsa McCarthy;
As you can see, we did something different with it, focusing on the Battle For The Briefcase tournament that will kick off next Sunday in Berlin. The three wrestlers depicted on the poster are three of the sixteen participants in our annual event, and the reason why we chose them particularly is because, in a way, they represent the spirit of their time. A veteran like Seth Iser, a man who has done it all in this industry, including winning the Briefcase in 2020, a consummate professional with a rigid work ethic that allowed him to stand the test of time and dominate the industry for two decades.
She pointed at the second wrestler depicted on the graphic.
Elsa McCarthy:
Alex Andrews, representing the present of MWE and this business. I still remember when we signed her three years ago, a talented rookie with high hopes. In such short time, she achieved so much here in our company and all over the world, becoming one of the most respected and sought names in wrestling today.
Pause.
Elsa McCarthy:
And Alice Wagner, one of the three graduated from the last Academy class that will enter the tournament. I'm sure you all remember her for the incredible match she had at Anarchy In The UK against Reign Reyes. As controversial as the ending might have been, it brought out the strong, and in a way revolutionary personality of this young and talented woman who we believe represents the future, or at least one of the possible futures, of this industry.
The camera focused back on Elsa.
Elsa McCarthy:
But I promise I would give you some names of the 16 participants in this year's BFTB. We just talked about three of them, you heard Billy Danielson earlier tonight announcing that he's entering it as well and you know that Karen Eldon will be in too, taking on Alice Wagner on the first round as her prize for winning the Academy tournament on the last episode this past Friday. Two more students, Sammy Grimes and Brighton Lancaster are in it, as well as former winner Melissa Reeves, former champions like Kimberly Williams, Faith Savell, Tiff... Veterans of this sport like Angelica Jones and young prospects like Luis Rivera, plus a couple of wildcards, because everyone loves surprises, right?
She let out a soft giggle.
Elsa McCarthy:
And speaking of surprises, we have one more in store. But you'll have to wait until Zeitgeist to hear it. I already took to much time so, without further ado, let's go back to ringside for our main event. Thank you for your attention, enjoy the rest of the show.
As the Millennium General Manager picked up some paperwork from her desk, the camera cut back to the ring.
Tag Team Match
Gabriel Landry & JJ Night & Selena Lyre VS The Division (Thatcher Ray Nash & RAZE & Wade Manson)
Let's be honest, the situation surrounding the Lockdown championship is an absolute mess. Selena Lyre has been screwed over her chance at Anarchy by Thatcher, who clearly was trying to force his way into the title contention. JJ Night returned to spoil his plans, and then there was Tank Steiner, who just traded his title shot with Bree and was now eligible to challenge Gabe, bringing the total of his potential opponents up to four. As for the match, Landry's team had a good start, managing to isolate Nash in their corner and keeping the Murder City Saints out of the ring. Things took a turn when the Killer Kowboy punched his way to his corner and tagged RAZE in. The Anomaly ruthlessly attacked Selena with closed fists and kicks to the head, tossing her in the corner and following with a running clothesline. Wade tagged in and landed a few kicks to the Electric Girl's torso before quickly slapping his partner's hand to call him back in. Allowing the former [R]evo champion to build momentum was exactly what Gabe's team needed to avoid and JJ knew it all too well. Entering the ring even without the tag, he kicked Manson to the back of the head, knocking him down and buying his partner some time. JJ was on fire tonight. For him fighting against The Division became a personal matter after what they did to him, to his cousin CJ and his uncle Chris in House Of Wrestling. The Academy graduate came close to the win with his Casualty Break (codebreaker), but Thatcher saved RAZE in that circumstance. The bad blood between JJ and the Division was reciprocated by Julian's group, so it didn't come as a shock to see RAZE and Manson chasing him on the outside after he tagged out to try put him out of commission. Selena wasn't going to turn her back on his partner and joined in on the outside brawl. Inside the ring Gabriel and Thatcher were trading blows. Landry was getting the best of it but Nash raked his eyes, leaving him blinded and defenseless against the Shooting Iron. WINNER: The Division BY: Pinfall (Shooting Iron), 18:18 |
No more than seconds after the main event of Millennium CXX concluded in Madrid Spain, the lights went black. Every single light inside of the WiZink Center turned off. Suddenly a single spotlight formed to an empty spot alongside the barricade, a single vacant seat.
The sound of commotion hit the ring and filled the arena before the lights came on. Thatcher Ray Nash was laying on the ground, while RAZE charged at the individual in the middle of the ring. Once he charged full steam, a back body drop sent RAZE over the top rope and crashing down onto the outside mats.
Wade Manson was the last of the three members of The Division. He didn’t charge at the figure in the ring, but he knew who it was. A laugh crept across his face before the figure charged at him. Sending him hard into the turnbuckle before chasing after Wade with a vicious clothesline that found his chest and knocked every ounce of air out his lungs. As Wade stumbled forward he was caught with a massive spine buster in the center of the ring.
The figure popped back to his knees before pulling the hood of the sweatshirt back. Revealing himself to be none other than Duke Andrews.
Duke slid out of the ring and once again charged at Thatcher. A shoulder tackle to the right knee dropped Thatcher again on the outside of the ring. Duke quickly removed the sweatshirt and went to work again on RAZE. Charging full steam as he delivers a clothesline that sent him inside out.
Duke quickly rushed to the far side of the ring and lifted the apron, finding a steel chair as he managed to slide it into the ring before following suit. He stood tall momentarily as he grabbed the legs of the chair and went to wildly swing at Wade who had managed to escape by the skin of his teeth. Wade slipped under the ring as Duke stood tall again. Holding the chair he swings again at the top turnbuckle as the three members of a The Division circle the ring and slowly hop up.
Once he swings, RAZE skips the entry of the ring and settles back on his feet in the outside as Wade and Thatcher slide in and quickly attack from behind. Knocking Duke down and freeing the chair from his grasp as they immediately begin to lay the boots to the Epitome of Perfection.
The camera fades to black on this episode of Millennium as The Division continues its assault.
