MWE Presents: Anarchy In The UK Pre-Show (night 2) Live from O2 Arena in London, England Sunday, March 26th, 2023
The scene opens to the blinding lights of a photographic set. The timestamp places the scene on a Friday afternoon, the day before night one of the MWE supershow Anarchy In The UK. We’re in London, you can tell that by the marked British accent of the photographer as he tells the model what he’s wanting to see from her.
By the tone of his voice, and by the awkward look on Alice Wagner’s face, things aren’t going exactly smoothly. The Academy student is posing in front of a white backdrop, dressed in torn jeans, leather jacket and a Sex Pistols shirt, an electric guitar in her hand. It’s not often that Academy students are called to do promotional shoots, but the Gold Star match between Alice and Reign Reyes that will open night two has a lot of hype surrounding it, and rightfully so considering the talent of the two wrestlers involved. So it made sense for the company to capitalize on the highly anticipated match with a shoot involving the two students. And while Reign had done her part without a problem, Alice was struggling with it. Turns out the young girl was camera shy, which is odd considering she never had issue performing in front of a crowd, whether it was in a ring or on a stage with her band Severed Wings.
You could hear the frustration in the photographer’s voice as he called for a break. Alice sighs in disappointment as she watches him leaving the set.
Alice Wagner: Did I tell you already how much I hate this?
She says to Reign who’s trotting toward her with two cups of coffee, handing one over to Alice.
Alice Wagner: Thank you, I really need it.
Reign’s eyes followed the exasperated photographer as he left the set.
Reign Reyes: How do they say it here in England? That twat’s a proper cunt.
The Gold Star smiles as she locks eyes with Alice.
Reign Reyes: You just need to act like it’s your friend behind the camera. You know, that girl that you may or may not be having relations with.
Reign’s eyes widen.
Reign Reyes: Oh my god, did I just say relations?! I’m turning into my grandfather. He really is the worst influence ever.
Reign waited for Alice to take a sip of the coffee before playfully adding…
Reign Reyes: You’ll be looser for the second round of photos. I put a shitload of vodka in your coffee.
Alice instinctively spewed the coffee on the floor before realizing that Reign was joking. At that point she joined her opponent in a round of laughter.
Alice Wagner: Damnit, you really got me there!
She said before taking another sip of coffee.
Alice Wagner: You mean Neva? Well, sorry to ruin your fanfictions’ dreams but we’re just friends. I’m pretty sure she has a boyfriend too so… And it’s not that easy to pretend that she’s behind the camera. She knows how to make me at ease while this guy… All he does is yell. Not gonna lie, I’m tempted to just grab my stuff and leave. I never really wanted to do this anyway.
Reign narrows her gaze a bit as she grabs Alice by the shoulders.
Reign Reyes: We deserve to have our names and our pictures up in lights just as much as the rest of them do, if not more. We’re the future of this company and this sport and people need to see us. So no more talk about leaving. In fact…
Reign gazes over her shoulder in the direction of the photography staff and a wicked smile takes hold before she winks at Alice.
Reign Reyes: I’ve got this.
Before Alice can even respond to Reign’s ominous words the Gold Star turns on her heels and starts towards the staff.
Reign Reyes: OI! I’m not sure what taking five means here but in America it means five minutes, NOT five hours. So someone tell that wanker of a cameraman to get his cheeky arse back here.
Yes, Reign was making a mockery of the British dialect.
Reign Reyes: Last I checked we were the talent, not him. I mean what do you even need to become a photographer? Thumbs?!
Hearing the raucous, the photographer rushes back on set, only to be blasted by Reign.
Reign Reyes: You’re replaceable. Pretty much anyone with a phone could do your job. And so you know, there’s been a change in plans. Alice and I will be shooting the rest of the promo together. You know, back to back or mean mugging in each other’s faces. Some shite like that. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.
Reign turns and starts to walk towards Alice but she stops, spinning one last time to address the stunned photographer.
Reign Reyes: Oh, and if you yell at her one more time, my uncle and his friends will see to it that you receive a free colonoscopy… by shoving that bloody camera so far down your throat that you have to shit it out!
Reign flashes a pleasant smile and then trots back to Alice, trying incredibly hard not to laugh. Once she arrives she clears her throat.
Reign Reyes: I handled it.
Alice was almost rolling on the floor laughing as she watched her fellow student yelling at the obnoxious photographer and his staff.
Alice Wagner: That was pretty badass, not gonna lie.
She says as they walk back on the set. Working with Reign is definitely helping Alice be more comfortable and natural as the photographer starts taking pictures of the duo. At some point, he asks them to pose in a specific way, making it look as if Reyes was about to smash the guitar on Alice’s head. Just like she did to Dakota a few weeks ago, which Reign points out with a smirk. The joke doesn’t exactly land well with Alice.
Alice Wagner: That wasn’t cool, you know? I get that you may not really like Kota, but what you did back then was uncalled for. And I think it’s one of the reasons why you’re no longer on Team Strike. I guess that smashing stuff on your teammates’ head is frowned upon.
Reign held the pose, standing in your classic “batter up!” pose while preparing to wallop Alice. She shrugs in response to her opponent chastising her.
Reign Reyes: I knew I wasn’t long for Team Strike. Lady treats Ava like she’s a daughter so there’s no way I’d be getting a fair shake in that environment. Besides, Helena seems to get me. Even when she was Saoirse’s coach she was always fair and dare I say helpful when it came to me.
She smirks a bit.
Reign Reyes: And there are worse fates than being on the same team as Sammy.
Reign bites down on her bottom lip, mean-mugging as the camera flashes.
Reign Reyes: If you ask me, that guitar shot to the head did way more good than it did harm. It’s not like Dakota was going to beat me. If anything I gifted her a victory. A hollow victory but a victory nonetheless.
Lowering the guitar, Reign grabs Alice by the lapels of her leather jacket and yanks her in close, planting a kiss on her opponent’s lips just in time for the camera to catch the act. As they part, Reign grins mischievously.
Reign Reyes: Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Alice was shocked, staring at Reign with her eyes wide open as her cheeks turned a light shade of red.
Alice Wagner: What the…
The photographer, on the other hand, loved the unexpected turn the photoshoot took. He shouted some instructions but Alice wasn’t listening.
Alice Wagner: I’m not saying that I prefer your bitch and overly aggressive side, but this is all a bit awkward.
The young man with the camera raised his voice trying to get the girls to pose, but he was quickly shut down by Wagner.
Alice Wagner: Is this another one of your games? Are you going for a different approach since the last time it didn’t go well for you?
Reign’s eyes shoot to the photographer and her grin widens when Alice tells him to hush. She notes the red in Alice’s cheeks and listens attentively while Alice tries to figure out her motive. Finally chewing on her bottom lip Reign leans in to whisper in Alice’s ear.
Reign Reyes: Are you flustered right now? Oh my god, did I just make you horny?
Reign glances from side to side.
Reign Reyes: I’ll totally cover for you while you sneak off to the bathroom and take care of things if you need to.
Now Reign’s grinning from ear to ear as she playfully punches Alice on the shoulder.
Reign Reyes: There’s no devious plan. I appreciate the inference that I actually thought that through but I didn’t. We’re standing here all made up under what has to be the most flattering lighting ever. I already told you that I think you’re pretty. So that was just me taking what I wanted. I wondered what it would be like to kiss you so I did. Nothing menacing. Unless of course I was wearing poison lipstick.
Reign leans back, waggling her eyebrows playfully.
Alice Wagner: Hmm.. You know what? You’re right about the “taking what I want part”..
Wagner said as she took the guitar from Reign’s hand. She turned to face the camera and started playing some chords and scales before suddenly smashing the guitar on the floor. Holding it by the neck, she swung to her side and knocked down one of the spotlights, starting to tear down the set. A couple of assistants tried to stop her but she started rotating the broken guitar over her head to keep them at distance before letting it go and watching it fly toward the photographer, almost taking his head off.
Alice Wagner: I hope you were quick to snap a couple of pics because we’re done here!
She yelled at him, trying to calm down. When she finally regained her bearings, she turned back to Reign.
Alice Wagner: You know Reign, I kinda like you. Well, not enough to kiss you, but still enough to give you some honest, friendly advice. The world doesn’t revolve around you, what you do or say affects other people as well and you won’t always get so lucky with how they react. You like to push people’s buttons and do whatever you like without thinking or caring about how it impacts them. You’re dancing on a minefield, and I get it, it may be fun. But one tiny misstep and everything can blow up. It takes one second to burn a bridge, it’ll take weeks, months or even years to rebuild it. And sometimes, it’s just not possible.
Reign watched with amusement as Alice trashed the set, her brow arching and her eyes widening as Wagner threw a fit worthy of an honest to goodness rockstar. She even stood patiently, listening as Alice once again dispensed some unsolicited advice. Now that it’s over, Reign smiles politely, leans forward and turns one last screw.
Reign Reyes: Do you always react this way when someone tells you you’re pretty? Maybe that’s why things didn’t work out with Neva.
A wry grin forms on Reign’s lips as her eyes trace the carnage around them before settling on Alice, it’s as if Reign says, “look what you’ve done” without actually saying it.
Alice Wagner: Or, it could be because I’m not into girls.
Wagner says casually as she picks up her jacket from the floor. She shots a quick glance at the photographer, looking desperate at what once was a beautiful set.
Alice Wagner: Looks like the shoot is over. I’ll see you in the ring, Reign. And please, no more smoochies.
Reign winks and calls after Alice as she departs.
Reign Reyes: No promises!
The Academy Pre-Show Match Gold Star 2/3 Falls Match Reign Reyes © VS Alice Wagner
- For the fans of The Academy, it wasn’t getting any bigger than this. The Gold Star, Reign Reyes, has stood out among the other students since day one. Constantly orbiting around the Gold Star, the third generation wrestler impressed with consistent great performances, even becoming (along with her rival Saoirse Tyrell) the first student to perform on a PPV main card at On Thin Ice. As for Alice Wagner, she only joined the Academy after Saoirse was kicked out, but she quickly hit the headlines as one, if not the, most technically gifted to ever set foot in The Academy. Literally growing up at Nightfall Fights, Alice is the niece of Empire Pro’s General Manager Robb Hardy, daughter of his infamous brother Will. After the shameful events occurred to her father, the at the time sixteen years old Alice turned her back to the business and dropped the family name. But some passion never really die, and eventually she joined the MWE developmental brand, showing that even after a year and half away from the ring, she didn’t miss a beat. Simply put, this was the best the Academy has to offer and tonight they were about to show the MWE fans that the future couldn’t be any brighter.
- There may have been some tension between them before this match, and rightfully so considering what was at stake. And in all fairness, Reign’s didn’t exactly stand out as the epitome of sportsmanship and trustworthiness, but nonetheless Alice offered a handshake as soon as the bell sounded. Somewhat of a tradition for Wagner, well aware that some people (and Reyes was definitely one of them)
- The two young girls were truly polar opposites. Alice was totally “in the zone”, no wasted motions and no wasted breath either. Reign, on the other hand, loved to talk, using it as a distraction to her opponent. The attempts didn’t work out so far but it was a strategy that, over time, could bear its fruits. She could talk the talk, but definitely walk the walk too. A series of quick kicks pierced through Alice’s defense, forcing the challenger back into the ropes. Reyes charged with a running big boot to knock the opponent over the top rope but Alice ducked the blow and pulled down the top rope, causing Reyes to tumble out instead. Wagner looked at the opponent and sprinted to the opposite side of the ring to gain speed and momentum for a baseball slide. Reign had a counter for that, surely a creative one. She pulled the ring skirt and trapped Alice between that and the ring apron, firing a violent kick to the chest that knocked the wind out of Wagner’s lungs. The Gold Star quickly rolled the opponent under the bottom rope and climbed on the apron where she waited for Alice to get on her feet. Only then she jumped on the top rope and connected a perfect springboard tornado DDT, obtaining the first near fall.
- Just when Reign was starting to build some momentum, finally able to use her speed and agility to attack Alice, the challenger once again gave proof of her technical expertise and deep knowledge of both wrestling and her opponent. When Reign had her in a headlock for her version of The Crowning, Alice hooked her leg to that of the Gold Star and rolled forward, transitioning into an armbar. Like in a game of chess, Reyes had a counter ready, shifting her bodyweight so that she could pin Wagner’s shoulder to the mat, forcing her to release the hold to kick out. They quickly got back to their feet and locked up once again, Alice quickly moved around the opponent and rolled up Reign, but rather than pinning her, she shifted into a body lock, clearly looking to slow the pace and wear down the Gold Star. Reign got up to her feet with Alice still holding her into a waistlock and used a couple of elbows to the side of the face to break free. Alice quickly fired back with some forearm strikes to the back and followed with a German suplex, keeping the bridge for a count of two.
- It was a very evenly matched contest, with the momentum going back and forth between the two competitors. And the fans were getting more and more into it as time passed, cheering equally for either competitor. Almost ten minutes in and neither of them had scored the first fall yet, although Reyes got particularly close to it with her diving double knee facebreaker. The Gold Star had now switched to mat-based wrestling, almost as if she wanted to prove that she could hang with the technical prodigy in that department too. She had Alice trapped in a dragon sleeper, a move Wagner knew quite well since she uses it as her main finisher. Reyes’ execution was on point, leaving the opponent little room to maneuver as she tried to wrestle her way out of it. Eventually Alice was successful in her attempt, escaping the submission and standing up to take on the opponent. She acknowledged the opponent’s skills with a nod of her head, which put a smile on Reign’s face and the two went back to trading strikes. Wagner won this exchange, managing to successfully chain together a series of low kicks to the leg. Wagner hit the ropes and came back at full speed but Reign picked her up onto her shoulders in a fireman’s carry position and dropped her into a knee strike to the head. But Alice countered the counter, blocking the blow with both hands and smoothly transitioning into a knee bar. The cheers of the fans absolutely loving the spectacle the two kids were putting on barely covered Reyes’s cry of pain as she found herself once again trapped in an excruciating submission. The ropes weren’t too far, but it still took her some time and a lot of effort to get there. The question now was how much damage did Wagner do to that leg?
- Reyes wisely decided not to force the sore leg, opting for a more conservative style and a slower pace that wouldn’t put too much strain on her leg. But after she took Alice down with a cutter, she decided to take her chances and climb to the top rope, jumping on the opponent with a diving double foot stomp. Once again Wagner had it scouted and rolled out of the way, quickly standing up ready to attack the champion. She stopped when she saw Reyes rolling on the floor, both hands clutching the knee that apparently gave up when she landed. The whole arena watched with concern what was going on in the ring, the same concern you could see on both the ref and Alice’s face as they stepped closer to Reyes to check on her conditions. But then the Gold Star quickly grabbed Wagner and rolled her up, finally catching her off guard for the first time tonight and scoring the first fall of the match. To add insult to injury, Reign quickly popped to her feet and began to jump on the spot, showing no sign of injury to the leg. (Reyes 1 - Wagner 0)
- ”Really?” Alice said as she got up. She wasn’t mad, neither at Reyes for fooling her nor at herself for falling for the trick. She seemed disappointed that Reign went that route, while the Gold Star argued that it wasn’t cheating, she just outsmarted her. One would think that after this Alice would be angry, or at least she would feel the pressure of having to pin or submit Reign twice in a row to win the Gold Star. But Alice didn’t rush forward, she didn’t charge head on in an attempt to even the score as soon as possible. She kept her cool and worked her way up, trusting that her ability and strategy would eventually pay off. She started with a wristlock, working on Reign’s arm and shoulder. Alice’s transitions between one hold and the next were just so smooth and unpredictable that Reyes couldn’t counter them. Wagner now applied a shoulder lock, forcing the Gold Star to her knees. Reign used the free arm to punch Alice in the gut and finally getting an opening to counterattack. She threw a right hand aiming at the challenger’s face but she parried the blow and took once again control of her wrist. This time Wagner wasted no time bending Reign’s arm behind her back in a hammerlock and planting her on her head with a DDT. Another flawless and fluid execution, but only worth a count of two.
- Reign’s leg was absolutely fine, she proved that time and time again when she blasted Alice with a superkick and followed with a diving double knee drop, coming this close to a clean sweep victory. More proof came with the shining wizard, but neither that was enough to keep Wagner down. But one thing for sure, the match seemed to be pretty routed now, with the challenger in great difficulty. Reyes tried to end her with The Long Kiss Goodnight, her mother’s trademark buzzsaw kick but Wagner ducked it and immediately caught Reign with a backstabber. The MWE fans got their first look at the Severed Wings, Alice’s beautiful, and very effective, finishing maneuver. After dragging the Gold Star down onto her knees, Wagner transitioned right into a dragon sleeper. Nobody so far had been able to escape the submission, but they all definitely tried harder than Reign did tonight. The Gold Star tapped out right away, which made sense considering the stipulation. Sure, allowing Alice to even the score can be dangerous, but trying to resist and escape a submission nobody has been able to break yet could really jeopardize the rest of her match. (Wagner 1 - Reyes 1)
- We were quickly approaching the thirty minute mark, making this by far the longest pre-show in history. But nobody was actually complaining, these two young girls knew how to fire up the crowd and keep them on the edge of their seats with a stellar performance that entered by right in the short list of Match Of The Year candidates. The two competitors looked worn out, fatigue and tension started creeping in and affecting their performance. The pace slowed down, both of them relying more on holds and submission now to wear out the opponent and, at the same time, managing their energies or what was left of them. However there were still moments when the intensity turned up to the levels seen throughout the rest of the match like when Alice took Reign for a ride with a series of suplexes, including some uncommon variations. The final one, a bridging wristlock suplex, was truly a thing of beauty that would have probably deserved better luck, but Reyes wasn’t ready to give up her title just yet and managed to kick out.
- There had been quite some false finals during the match, but none as close as the one Reign obtained with her CTE, the lethal running knee strike that caused Ava’s first injury a few months ago. Alice saved herself by touching the bottom rope with her foot, immediately rolling out of the ring as soon as Reyes moved from on top of her. She literally clung onto it with her hands and legs, resisting and trying to buy herself some time while the Gold Star tried to pull her back in. Eventually Reyes gave up and changed her approach, using her foot to push Wagner to the floor, trying to get her counted out. Alice answered the count and climbed back on the apron. She repelled Reign’s attack, blocking her punch and doubling her over with a shoulder to the midsection. Wagner found the strength to leap over the top rope and perform a sunset flip but couldn’t keep Reyes down as she immediately rolled out of the pinning predicament. Both were up to their feet but the Gold Star was faster to strike, with a shotgun dropkick to the chest. It all happened so fast that the referee couldn’t move out of the way. Reign’s dropkick sent Wagner right into the official as he was getting up, their heads colliding and knocking them both down.
- The ref had the worst of the bump, and while Alice was starting to stir up, the ref looked in deep slumber. For a second, Reign really considered it. The little devil on her shoulder suggested to take advantage of the situation and strike Alice down with the Gold Star while the referee wasn’t watching. On any other day, against any other opponent, she wouldn’t have hesitated going down that route. But not tonight, not against Alice. She didn’t deserve that, and this match deserved a clean ending, for better or for worse. That was saying a lot about the respect Reyes had for the opponent, but there was someone who didn’t care about any of that.
- Ava Grimes chose London to make her comeback from her second concussion and make Reign regret the things she said about her. She grabbed the Gold Star from the timekeeper table and entered the ring, standing in front of her former best friend. Reyes was almost begging her not to do it, but Ava wasn’t listening. Blinded by rage, the young Grimes blasted the Gold Star with her title, knocking her out. Seething, Ava crouched next to the unconscious fellow student and said something the camera couldn't pick up before leaving the ring. It couldn’t get any easier than this for Alice Wagner. All she had to do was to make the cover and walk out with the title. With perfect timing, the referee was finally showing signs of life, crawling to the ropes. Alice looked at Reign, then at the ref, then back at the opponent. She helped the referee get up to his feet and apologized for involuntarily hurting him before glancing back to Reign. What happened next left everyone dumbfounded. Rather than taking the easy win, Alice chose to leave the ring and walk out of the match. Not an easy decision for sure, but consistent with the young woman’s strong morals. Some of the fans applauded the ultimate sign of sportsmanship, others manifested their disappointment for the underwhelming ending of a great match. The ref had no choice but to start the count out, perhaps hoping that Wagner would change her mind and walk back to finish the match. But the thought never crossed her mind, and not even Reyes’ plea to come back worked. The count reached ten, Reyes had retained the Gold Star. But you could tell she wasn’t happy about it. As she was handed the title, her eyes found those of Ava who, in the meantime, had reached the other side of the barricade. Things were far from over between them.
WINNER: Reign Reyes (STILL GOLD STAR) BY: 2-1, 33:16

MWE Presents: Anarchy In The UK (night 2) Live from O2 Arena in London, England Sunday, March 26th, 2023
The scene takes us to some random place in London. We aren’t sure where that place might be because other than the flurry of posters and decorated Anarchist memorabilia, it is indistinguishable. There’s noise, lights, spray paint, leather jackets, and studs, people with Mohawks and people with no hawks (go figure!) all in the bliss of this comes a bubbly blonde who literally doesn’t fit the mold, but enjoying herself anyways jiving to a song by The Who that’s playing in the backdrop.
Haylie LaFluer: Had to take a moment and get a history lesson, what better way to do so then to come to the heart of London’s punk scene, actually I’m not sure it’s the heart of anything but I saw all the materials we needed to make myself feel anarchy-ish so here we are!
She smiles brightly as she turns in her vintage replication of Kate Moss’ famous “God Save the Queen” photoshoot jacket, giving off much More of a fitting vibe to Haylie’s Aesthetic the camera follows her around for a bit before she lets out a loud ‘hmm’ sound and she turns back to glance into the frame again.
Haylie LaFluer: Earnestly I’m just in this match to have fun and make the most of it, I won’t pretend like Anarchy is my thing I am much more for controlling factors and algorithms, but there is a little something about this whole experience that makes me excited, the uncertainty, the lack of care, the overthrowing is the regime, it all had a sort of patronage to it that isn’t understood in todays world. It’s a moment in time that will never happen again and truly I’m just happy to feel immersed into it. This match is a similar kind of structure, it’s not a circumstance that you can prepare for all the time because it’s simply not something you see everyday. This many people colliding in the ring and only one coming out with the victory. It’s all just extreme in a sort of measure and while I typically like to formulate a plan. I’m happy to go with the vibe of this match and just let things happen spontaneously!
There was a bit of a shrug before she offered a slight smile.
Haylie LaFluer: Call me ever so reckless, call me changing with the times, or just know that I enjoy a good challenge. Either way, this is Anarchy in the UK and I am ready!
With that she waves off and the scene comes to a close.
Anarchy In The UK Match*
Emma Wakefield VS Tiana Petrova-Hammond VS Bey Addams VS Dean Smith VS Haylie LaFleur VS Anna Daniels VS Betsy Gallagher VS Devon Slayton VS Tank Steiner VS Bree Smith
- Reign and Alice set a pretty high bar for night two with their tremendous pre-show match, following that absolute banger was not an easy task. But with ten wrestlers involved, this match had the right amount of intrinsic chaos, potential drama and high stakes to carry on that momentum and “officially” start off night 2 with a bang. At the end of this match, we will have nine new contenders and a free spot on the roster. Speaking of drama, well we got plenty of that before the match even started. The English fans have been pretty vocal during the entrances, making it clear who their favorites were and who they wouldn’t mind seeing getting fired. But they saved the loudest pop for last, for the hometown hero Betsy Gallagher. The Manchester native looked fired up and ready to turn her career around in front of her people, but those dreams of glory were crushed right away as she got knocked down by a vicious attack from behind. The attacker, dressed as always in his elegant suit, was the man known as Policy, Ashley Belle’s hired muscle. The Perfect Ten then walked out of the curtain, a wicked smirk on her lips as she watched her goon annihilate Betsy. The plan was clear, twisted in its simplicity. Policy would take out Gallagher so that Belle could take her place. The fans were in turmoil, insulting and throwing trash at her while poor Betsy got powerbombed off the stage into a table. As paramedics came to check on her and confirmed that Betsy could not compete, The Perfect 10 strolled to the ring, entering the Anarchy In The UK match.
- Her shenanigans didn’t only earn her the eternal hate of the London fans, but didn’t sit well with her opponents either. They all glowered at her, maybe except for Bey who had her eyes glued on Anna Daniels, and when the bell sounded, they all went for Belle. That not-so-coordinated assault didn’t last long though, as Tiana singled out Ashley and pushed her in the corner. Bey and Daniels started trading strikes, with the Valedictorian looking to avenge the loss suffered at the hands of the Time Lord a few weeks ago. Bree and Dean Smith helped each other and took on the duo of Tank Steiner and Devon Slayton. Haylie and Emma engaged in a technical battle, trading holds and counters at a crazy speed.
- The pairings were made, but this perfect balance wasn’t going to last much longer. The first ever Gold Star in the history of The Academy was unleashing hell on Belle, hitting her relentlessly with sharp knee strikes to the face from a clinch position. Ti then transitioned into a butterfly hold and planted Ash on her skull with a DDT. She didn’t go for the pin, inviting the Perfect Ten to get up to her feet and, as soon as she did, blasting her with the Gold Standard superkick. The first fall of the match was scored by the Russian-American without even breaking a sweat in under three minutes. Tiana then left the ring and approached the table with the 9 envelopes, picking the one in the middle. The fans and commentators were looking at her with anticipation, but she didn’t open the prize right away, making her way backstage.
- Ashley was furious about the embarrassing start of the match. This wasn’t what she expected when she decided to steal Betsy’s spot. She growled and launched an attack on the person closest to her position: Anna Daniels. She blasted The Muse from behind with a strike to the back of the head and coordinated herself with Bey. The Academy Dropout was not too thrilled at the idea, but she wasn’t going to pass on a chance to get one over one of her late brother’s greatest rivals. Anna fought back, surely this wasn’t the first time they found themselves in a two on one situation, and they showed that tonight, holding their own against both Bey and Belle. After taking Addams down with a superkick, the Muse switched her focus on the Perfect Ten, taking her for a ride with the Threeish Doctors. Ashley looked a bit rattled as she tried to stand up, not entirely aware of her surroundings or the fact that Anna was about to obliterate her with the Interrobang. The Brazilian Kick connected but before Daniels could make the pin, Bey sneaked behind her back and rolled her over with a school boy pin, using the ropes to get the three.
- Unlike Tiana before her, Bey wasted no time and immediately tore the envelope open. The look on her face didn’t change much, not giving away her feelings about the prize she just won. The cameraman managed to get a shot at the paper, reading CLOUD GATE CHAMPIONSHIP. Later tonight Bey will learn if she’s going to face the young man who replaced her last year in the Academy,, the undefeated Luis Rivera or the current champion Addison McKinley, perhaps her greatest rival back in the developmental days. But inside the ring the match was still going, seven more prizes on the line for eight competitors. Anna wasn’t too happy with hos Bey was able to fool her and took out that frustration on Ashley Belle, becoming the second person to score a pinfall on the Perfect 10 with the Oncoming Storm (double underhook brainbuster). Standing in front of the table, Daniels took a moment to decide which envelope she would take, and the choice finally fell on the second one from the right. And it was definitely the right choice, granting The Muse a MWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY.
- Seeing the biggest and most coveted prize gone was quite a hit for the seven people still in the match. But hey, there were six more golden tickets to punch and a kick out from the company to avoid, so plenty more to fight for. Dean and Bree showed their impressive strength and a chemistry that would surely come in handy if one of them got the shot at the Tag Team Titles when they lifted Tank Steiner with a double suplex..They agreed that Dean would make the cover while Bree focused on Slayton, leveling him with a clothesline. Herr Steiner kicked out and began to work on Smith, slapping the taste out of his mouth with his stiff knife edge chops, pushing the former Invictus champion back in the corner. In the opposite corner, Ashley tried to pin Haylie after a neckbreaker but LaFleur got her shoulders up in time.
- Emma’s From Your Emmagination almost gave the former Academy student a three count on Ashely, but the Perfect 10 managed to get her shoulder up in time, avoiding to take the third pin in the match, at least for now. The next person to leave the match was Bree Smith who scored a three count on Devon with her Bree Show (pop up powerbomb). Pretty much at the same time, her brother fell under Tank’s strikes and got squashed by the Ausrtrian’s Der große Kaboom, Bree and Tank then met at the table, ready to pick their prize. Always the gentleman, the Austrian let Smith choose first and picked the one the the left of Bree’s envelope. They opened it up at the same time, Tank immediately bursted out laughing as he read what the reward for his effort was[. Of nine titles available, he picked the one he couldn’t challenge for: the Junior Heavyweight championship. Bree was a bit more lucky, finding a shot at the Lockdown championship she recently lost in her envelope. But as happy as that made her, at the same time felt sorry for Tank’s bad luck.
- Five people left in the match and much more room for the high-fliers to shine. Haylie and Emma really put on display their technical and athletic skills, earning a round of applause and the praises from the English fans. Whether it was fighting the other three people still in this or battling between them, the two blondes were showing out. LaFleur hit her 360 discus codebreaker on Dean and a moonsault sliced bread on Ashley while Emma knocked Devon down with the monkey flip/shining wizard combination. Now they were the only two standing and rather than trying to pin the already floored opponents, they engaged in another exchange, trading holds and trying to get the upper hand. They both seemed to have fun with testing their own limits against an equally skilled opponent and, for a change, one they could respect. The fans were loving it too, watching the two trying to catch each other off guard with quick pins and counters. And in the end, nobody was really disappointed when they both ended up with their shoulders pinned to the mat after Emma tried to reverse an inside cradle. They both proceeded to choose an envelope, picking the two at the extremities of the table, but they didn’t reveal the prize, choosing to keep some mystery around it.
- Things were really heating up now. Dean Smith, Devon Slayton and Ashley Belle. One of these three will become a MWE alumni at the end of this match, the other two will get a shot at a title. Dean stepped up to the plate and took his destiny in his own hands, fighting with renewed energy and keeping both opponents at bay with his boxing background. Belle got knocked down with the Four Uppercuts And A Dreading, and she would have taken the fourth pinfall of her match if it wasn’t for Policy getting her foot on the bottom rope. Smith then went to work on Devon, hitting him with stiff strikes and leaving him dazed in the middle of the ring. Climbing to the top rope, Smith then jumped for the Mean Dean knee strike and punched his ticket to a tile shot: Not a bad deal, considering he got the chance to challenge for the #2 prize in the company, the Intercontinental championship.
- Ashley immediately went to cover Slayton, hoping that she could capitalize on Dean’s diving knee. A move that reeked of desperation from the Perfect 10, but a wise one that almost worked out for her. Devon got his shoulder up at the very last second, but it was clear he was on the ropes. It was all or nothing for these two, and Ashley seemed to be the one in a better shape. Her attacks gave her a couple of near falls, which only increased her frustration. Devon took full advantage of that, beheading the Perfect 10 with his Death Note and following with the Hellhound. The last envelope, containing a shot at the Riot championship, was his. As for Ashley, she probably regretted inserting herself in this match. Her career in MWE ended tonight in London.
WINNER: Anyone But Ashley Bell BY: Elimination, 19:16

With her surprisingly quickly earned prize clutched tightly to her chest, the first winner of the Anarchy in the UK match made her way backstage, wiping sweat from her forehead along the way. Rounding a corner, Tiana came face to face with with her girlfriend Trinity, smiling away. Ti popped her mouth guard out to return the smile in full, falling into an embrace.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: It’s about time something goes my way, huh? It’s always nice when someone gives me a reason to let loose.
Trinity Thompson: That bitch had it coming. What she did to Betsy was fucked up, poor girl didn’t deserve it. It just felt right that someone beat the crap out of her, and I cannot think of a better person to do it than you.
The former XIX World champion said to her girlfriend, following up to her words with a celebratory kiss.
Trinity Thompson: That fire tho… It’s been a while since I last saw it. Damn, it’s been so long I almost forgot how much I love it!
Ti playfully rolled her eyes.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: You see fire from me all the time, just usually in…
She stopped herself with a headshake and a shy smile.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: We should see what I won, huh?
Trinity let out a giggle, playfully bopping Tiana on the shoulder.
Trinity Thompson: Damn, almost exposed yourself there, miss Petrova-Hammond!
The two shared another laughter, Trinity's eyes then fell on the envelope.
Trinity Thompson: You're right tho, time to see the goodies. Maybe it's a World Title shot, not gonna lie I would love to see you kick another Savell's ass like you did to Faith.. But unfortunately, after tonight Julian won't be champion anymore.. Tiff is gonna take back what he stole from her.
She sounded so sure and confident about her sister's chances to walk out with the top prize. Perhaps even more confident than Tiffany herself would be.
Trinity Thompson: But you and Tiff? You two would tear the house down..
Tiana’s eyes lit up at the possibility, a wide grin spreading to her lips.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: Still waiting for my chance to go toe to toe with her, it’d be like a dream come true and this just might be the perfect opportunity to make it happen. Imagine..
She sighed, toying with the envelope between her fingers. She pushed it toward Trinity, making her take it.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: I don’t think I’d even still be doing this if it wasn’t for you, so uh…open it for me? Let’s see what we got.
Trinity Thompson: Are you sure?
She asked, her eyes quickly moving from the envelope to Tiana then back on the prize. The Russian-American nodded her head, failing to hide her excitement to find out what title she will be challenging for. Trinity then ripped the envelope open and slowly pulled out the card inside.
Trinity Thompson: Can I have a drum roll, for dramatic effect?
Tiana rolled her eyes, inviting her girlfriend to finally reveal the prize. Thompson looked down and her expression immediately changed, the big smile on her face quickly fading.
Ti quickly picked up on the change, eyeing up Trin with dying enthusiasm.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: …What is it, Trin? Just…
She reached out and took hold of the card, the last of her smile finally disappearing. She glanced up at Trinity and forced a bit of a smile.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: Well..uh… Fuck.
There was a moment of awkward silence between the two, in which Trinity tried to figure out what to say to sweeten the pill.
Trinity Thompson: Well then.. It's still a world title, I guess…
The camera zoomed on the card, showing what was written on it. MWE Tag Team Championship.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: Yeah, yeah it is. It’s a great opportunity…
Her voice showed the distinct lack of enthusiasm, but she tried smiling through it all the same.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: At least I already have a partner.
Trinity Thompson: Yeah, Echo is back now, you two make a good team.
Trinity quickly replied, smiling at her girlfriend.
Trinity Thompson: Just say it, all this hanging around with her… You're trying to make me jealous!
Tiana shook her head, still trying to force her smile.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: If you were jealous of Jules, then… That’s pretty scary.
She sat the card to the side, taking hold of Trinity’s hands.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: But listen… First off, I think she’s got her hands full with Nine, and even though I’ll march into Hell with her if she asks for my help, it’s only because she had your back when I couldn’t. And second… I have a better partner.
Trinity Thompson: Oh yeah? And who is that?
Trinity asked her with curiosity. The smile reappearing on Tiana's face gave her the answer, or maybe just confirmed what, deep down, she already figured out.
Trinity Thompson: Wait, you mean… Me?
Tiana nodded her head with a new found enthusiasm. A pretty contagious one as a bright smile spread on Trinity's lips. She threw her arms around her girlfriend, pulling her into a tight hug.
Trinity Thompson: You already know what my answer is.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: Well I was gonna say Damian, but seeing how excited you are…
She could feel herself being pushed backwards by a laughing Trinity, but the two quickly hugged again.
Tiana Petrova-Hammond: We’ve been toying with the idea, so… What better way to test it out?
A quick peck on the lips sealed the deal, and with that the pair walked away from the camera, their voices trailing off down the hall as they discussed ideas.
The scene cuts to Camila Abrines and Kiana Masters in their locker room, preparing for their match against mystery opponents.
Camila Abrines: Ugh, can you believe this? We come in and dominate in our first match back as a team and look what they are doing! Mystery opponents!? Do they really think this curveball is going to work on us? Do they know how many tag team championships we’ve held? Don’t they know that we’re the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in In Your House history!?
Kiana scoffed as she added on.
Kiana Masters: Pfft! Of course these LOSERS don’t know! Why? Because they don’t understand what winners look like. They’ve been watching a trash tag team division that’s never thrived in MWE. There hasn’t been a team to ever stand out until Bad & Boujee. The only reason this division is surviving right now is because of them.
Camila Abrines: And to be honest? That’s not really saying much. I mean, they are pretty good but they aren’t 2MF1. We’re the PREMIER TAG TEAM IN ALL OF WRESTLING!
Camila nodded confidently as Kiana responded.
Kiana Masters: That’s right! And every team out there? They’re going to be Taking the L! Just like everyone else that has ever crossed our paths.
Camila Abrines: Yup! Anyway, we’ve wasted enough time talking about all of this. Let’s go beat up these mystery morons and celebrate, 2MF1 style!
Kiana and Camila high five and walk out of the frame before the scene cuts away.
Tag Team Match
2MF1 VS Mystery Opponents
- Kiki Masters and Camila Abrines were in the ring, waiting to discover who their opponents would be. Not an ideal situation for Blyss’ trainee, and they did absolutely nothing to hide their disappointment about the management’s choice to keep them a surprise, criticizing the “disrespectful” decision made by the GM. The wait was over as “Karate” by Babymetal blasted through the PA system and out came the former Chicago Way champion Valkyrie… With Niko Yua! Warblade 42 was back in its original formation, with the Japanese finally returning to the ring after the injury that kept her on the shelf for over a year. Finally reunited, the Warmaiden of Roskilde and Blade Maiden of Tokyo walked to the ring together, firing up the fans who reserved them a warm welcome. Camila and Kilki didn’t seem too impressed with the choice, chuckling to themselves trying, perhaps, to get in the duo’s head.
- Kiki and Niko started the match for their respective teams, The mind games continued as Masters told Yua that she should have stayed gone, before cheekily kicking the surgically repaired knee. The Japanese’s leg buckled under the kick, knocking Niko down to a knee. She glared at Kiki as she slowly stood up, massaging the injured body part. Masters kept targeting what she identified as the opponent’s weak spot with stiff kicks, but Niko showed decent mobility and managed to dodge most of them. Using the left leg, Niko fired off a kick to Kiki’s ribs, doubling the Cali girl over. The Baka Buster then sprinted toward her and blasted her with a running knee strike, knocking her down to the cheers of the crowd. She looked down at the blonde opponent with an amused smirk as she patted her knee. Looks like she recovered just fine!
- After sixteen months away from competition, ring rust and lack of conditions were definitely going to affect Niko, but luckily for her she could rely on a trusted tag partner who would gladly take that burden from her and who was more than capable to carry the match. Valkyrie took on Kiana with a series of chops, following with a body slam and a knee drop that earned her a count of two. The Great Dane bitch then picked Kiki up and sent her into the ropes with an Irish whip. Camila tagged herself in and entered the ring as her partner bounced back toward Valkyrie. The former Chicago Way champion went for a big boot but Masters dodged it with a slide, quickly getting up behind the Dane’s back. Vee was surrounded, attacked on two fronts. She turned around into a superkick from Abrines while Kiana jumped on her back and dragged her down with a backstabber. The combined move gave 2MF1 a count of two, but now they definitely got the momentum on their side.
- The two best friends looked in full control, cutting the ring in half and isolating Valkyrie in their half of the corner. The extended hiatus left them a bit rough around the edges, but the potential to become, once again, one of the best teams in the business was definitely there. Moves like the Take The L or their chop block/running lariat combo steered the match even more in their favor, but Valkyrie wasn’t staying down.
- If you had to find one flaw in 2MF!, that would be their attitude. The closer they got to the win, the more arrogant they became. And in turn, their focus dropped, leaving room for mistakes Valkyrie could capitalize on. And so the Dane caught Camila in mid air and dropped her onto her knee with a backbreaker. Valkyrie then headed toward Niko in the opposite corner but Kiki quickly tagged herself in and tackled her down before she could reach her partner’s stretched out hand. Coming so close and yet so far didn’t frustrate Valkyrie, if anything it fired her up even more, giving her that boost of energy to punch her way to the much needed tag.
- The Blade Maiden Of Tokyo hit Kiki with a volley of kicks, obtaining a couple of near falls. The resourceful Masters tried to create some space with an eye rake, looking to reach Camila in the corner but Niko blocked her attempt with a running bulldog. Abrines pulled the Japanese’s hair in an attempt to distract her and buy her partner some valuable time but she only pissed off the Baka Buster who knocked her off the apron with a spinning wheel kick. With Camila down, this was possibly the best chance for Warblade 42 to seal the deal and Niko wasn’t letting it go to waste. She waited until Masters got to her feet and clobbered her with the Meteor Strike (Bullhammer). Camila tried a last minute save but she couldn’t get there in time.
WINNER: Warblade 42 BY: Pinfall (Meteor Strike), 10:37

Pre-recorded…
We open inside what appears to be a small, quaint, English pub. It is empty as of this moment, with the exception of one female seated at the bar. As we get closer we can see that this female is wearing a tight form fitting little black dress, black high heeled pumps, and has long red hair. She turns around in her barstool and has a glass of Guinness in her hand. We can now see that this is Angelica Jones, also known as The Dragon.
Angelica Jones: I never know just where my daughter’s unique imagination will take her. I am glad she got to book Riot. I apologize for ‘some’ of the chaos she created. Not all of it…some of it was long overdue. But some of her other ideas, yeah, they were definitely interesting to say the very least.
The Dragon shrugs her shoulders.
Angelica Jones: Ahalya Patel, what can I say? I’m sorry. I have no idea what Kimberly was thinking. Perhaps she was thinking about her time as Chicago Way Champion. She was put in a situation like that and maybe she wanted you to feel the same thing she felt? A trial by fire, if you will, to see if you were truly ready for the Chicago Way Division. Kim does take her hardcore wrestling seriously. So maybe that was a test for you? Or maybe she literally had no rhyme or reason and just booked it on a whim as she often does? I don’t know. But she booked it, and as a result of the circumstances on Riot you are now in a situation that no champion would ever want to be in. You are defending your Chicago Way Championship against five other individuals in a Pub Brawl.
Jones takes a sip of her beverage and then sets it down on the bar.
Angelica Jones: As for me, I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I earned this opportunity and damn it, I am going to take it. Now one may look at my glittery resume and think that hardcore wrestling, a pub brawl, would be the farthest thing from my wheelhouse. But look at me and look at who the hell I am. I am The Dragon and you don’t earn a nickname like that unless you have been willing to walk through the fires of hell itself. I have been through it all, ladies and gentlemen. I have been through your typical street fights, last man standing, ambulance matches, and I even took things to a new level of sick and sadistic.
She holds up fingers.
Angelica Jones: I have been through five Seven Stages of Hell Matches and I have only lost one. So do you think I can hang in the hardcore environment of a Pub Brawl? Not only can I hang but damn it, I should be one of the odds on favorites to win this whole thing and I fully intend to, because I didn’t come out of retirement just to put on a few dream matches. I came out of retirement to win championship gold and to prove that I can still go and that I am still among the best to do it. So Patel, bring your worst. Alex, Till, Krelle, throw everything you have at me but it won’t be enough.
Jones smirks knowingly.
Angelica Jones: Britt…my old friend, Brittany Lohan…we have done this song and dance before. I look forward to doing it again. May the best woman win.
Chaos Theory Match
Abby Blake © VS Miki VS Millie Smith
- The match started with a lot of fast movement. Abby was here to show why she was champion after her impressive win at Riot in England, but both Miki and Millie Smith were hungry for the win and their chance at gold as well. The three opponents collided mid ring, with Millie being the first to take a blow as Abby went for a leaping clothesline, only for Miki to welcome her back up with a fierce kicking show those former kickboxing moves.
- Abby quick to recover was able to reverse the next whip into the ropes, bouncing back with a picture perfect moonsault, and a quick pin that was interrupted by Millie who joined back in the match though she looked reluctant to break up the pin in such a way, she hit the ropes and bounced back with a front-flip neckbreaker that smashed Abby’s face directly into the canvas.
- Playing it smart with the Champion down Millie went to work on Miki instead and lifted her up to hit a spinning roundhouse kick sending Millie back down she showed great ring awareness turning a handspring landing on Abby’s back for a solid two count. The fans were impressed by the young woman’s stamina and as she lifted up Abby to continue her assault, the Champion began to fire back with lefts and rights at first, which Millie deflected after a moment and then when she began to throw fists of her own, Abby changed up her tactics dodging a punch and running up the corner to spring off the middle rope taking Millie down with a springboard crossbody. She gets a pin out of it, but its broken up by Miki who was finally recovered in the quick pace of this match. With both the other women down, Miki got a little smirk on her grabbing hold of Millie’s left arm she formed a sort of back bend over Millie’s body and over to Abby to grab her right arm, applying a modified arm bar to both opponents which got the fans approval and showed off her submissionist style. Both ladies beneath her screamed out in pain, but knowing she couldn’t keep the hold, Miki broke it off herself, running to the ropes just as both women looked up and she collided in a double dropkick of sorts using one of each foot to hit both opponents. Attempting a pin on Millie just after Millie played a bit of possum turning it into a school boy pin which was kicked out of at two, only for Abby to sneak up behind Millie and do the same thing, noticing herself accidentally grabbing hold of her tights she released the pin before the ref could even start counting though not wanting to win the match that way.
- The fans erupted at the charismatic display of all three women and the match sped back up from there with several falls. One such move saw Abby flying over the top rope to take out both Millie and Miki in a splash, which left all three women reeling on the floor. Millie showed off her athleticism and acrobatics with a unique cartwheel elbow drop that almost took her home the gold, but it was Miki who had the closest call of the match when she took Millie down with her Fujiwara Armbar, with Abby down Millie just narrowly made it to the bottom rope, but the damage was done with Millie rolling out to the outside favoring her arm that had been targeted twice now. Miki watching out for Millie didn’t see the use of the ropes for momentum that was followed by Abby hitting her finisher Fore (Natural Selection) out of nowhere. She goes for the pin and Millie isn’t able to get back inside before the three count.
WINNER: Abby Blake (STILL CHAOS THEORY CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Fore), 9:15

We open up to see Alex Andrews in a locker room, just her by herself. She seems to be wearing dark jeans and what seems to be a "Lady Limitless" shirt that she has cut the sleeves off of. We see Andrews bounce from foot to foot.
Alex Andrews: People seem to look at me and think I'm just some naive sweet little girl whom isn't prepared for the rougher side of this sport we all love. But you see, that is exactly where you'd be wrong. I've spent quite a fair amount of time in places where they liked to throw out these "creative" matches and it was adapt or die. And while I might not have been the largest dog in any fight, you are damn sure I left more than a few individuals stunned and speechless after the ordeal.
Alex smiles at the camera, rolling her wrists a bit, just loosening up.
Alex Andrews: So I say that to say this, I'm no stranger to a Pub Brawl, more or less a six man free for all. I get it. And the winner of it all gets the MWE Chicago Way Championship. Maybe one of two might want this as badly as I do, but we will have to see, won't we?
She chuckles to herself as she paces around the room.
Alex Andrews: I know some of y'all probably think about how I even got into this match would be a bit against my character, but the way I see it is I needed to make a statement and I don't want to be treading water. We all know my ultimate goal is that MWE World Championship, of course it is. But I want and needed some upward momentum after failing to beat Chris Sanderson. I could whine and moan about his tactics but what good would it do at this point? Besides, I believe Ahalya and I have come to a bit of an understanding and a little bit of a mutual respect. I could be wrong, or we are both professionals trying to make our own way, but nonetheless, we are going to have yourself a good ole fashioned scrap aren't we? I for one can't wait.
And with that Alex winks at the camera and walks off down the hall.
Tag Team Match
Those Damned LeBeaus VS The Carter Girls
- The LeBeau Sisters were already in the ring, waiting for their opponent to step out of the curtain. But even when their music hit, Jessica and Evelyn didn't walk out. The reason became clear when the camera cut backstage to show a screaming and kicking Jessica being held by the massive Atlas while Thatcher Ray Nash was unleashing hell on poor Evelyn, clearly a retaliation for her boyfriend JJ messing with him on night one. The Killer Kowboy was merciless on his attack on the Academy Graduate, setting her up for a brutal All Down But Nine (kneeling back to belly piledriver) on the hard floor.
- Jessica desperately tried to get free to help her partner but she couldn't get away from the big man's grasp. Her screams didn't fall on deaf ears. JJ Night came to the rescue, armed with a chair he swung on Atlas' back, forcing him to let her go. He then saw Vi motionless on the floor and he went full berserk, jumping on Thatcher and tackling him to the floor, where he started raining down fists to his face. Anderson was left to deal with Atlas hitting him with a flurry of kicks that didn't seem to faze Julian's protege. He graabbed Jessica by her neck and chokeslammed her to the floor. He then went to help his partner, but Jess got back to her feet and jumped on his back, putting him in a sleeper hold. JJ picked up the chair and hit him on the head, not once but twice. Atlas went down to his knee and got knocked down by a double superkick from Night and Carter. Now that their enemies were down, they could focus on Evelyn, who hadn't moved since the piledriver. Obviously she was in no shape to compete tonight, but with all due respect to the LeBeaus, a match with them was the last of the concerns on Jessica's mind.

The scene opens up to a simple backdrop, where we find the current reigning Chicago Way Champion, Ahalya Patel. She’s sitting with the belt sitting on her lap a stool perching her up as she stares at it for a moment and then she glances up.
Ahalya Patel: Alright we are going to go ahead and cut the bullshit and head straight into this dialogue, the fact is this, the way you all supposedly “earned” your chance at my strap is some bullshit. You wanted to take the easy way. You wanted a piece of Patelly when she was down and almost out, go figure.
She shook her head.
Ahalya Patel: The fact of the matter is that since then only two of you have earned what I call the right to fight, but how can I argue when you got a dumb ass booking cards with stupid ass stipulations because it happened to them once upon a time, I’m still saying fuck you very much for that one Kim.
She laughed a bit at that only half serious by that statement before continuing.
Ahalya Patel: Nevertheless this is my chance for some pay back, it’s my time to show all you mother fuckers who thought you wanted a piece of this what that implication really means, I’ve had my fair share of battles in my life and ain’t none of you shown me that you can bring more than I can handle, fact of the matter is, all you’ve brought to this contest is to show that I’m a fighting champion and I don’t play around when it comes to what’s mine, To Alex and Till I got see a side of both of you that I can damn well appreciate, to Nate I know you’ve had some shit going on that’s kept you away but the anti trend of not putting in the work ain’t going to sit right with me. Brittany Lohan? . . . Who?
She paused before shaking her head further.
Ahalya Patel: Angelica Jones, yeah whatever. I ain’t heard a word from none of them about how this title is of any importance to them and if I lose my strap to some bitch who can’t even be bothered to post anything more than a hype tweet, well MWE you’re going to have a problem outta me. I’m sick and tired of wrestlers these days who can’t be bothered when bitches like me had to claw our way to the top simply because of where we’re from.
She paused taking a minute to recollect before she flew off the handle as typical of her to do sometimes.
Ahalya Patel: Fact is you’re about to find out why the Patelly Way Championship is staying with me and why you don’t drink with a woman who has a black belt, you’ve been warned bitches, see you at the pub!
Chicago Way Championship Match Pub Brawl Ahalya Patel © VS Alex Andrews VS Till Schlotterbeck VS Nate Krelle VS Angelica Jones VS Brittany Lohan
- For this match we left the O2 Arena and headed into one of the nearby pubs. The place was exactly how you expected it, the high stools at the counter, a couple of TV screens to allow the patrons to watch football games, a West Ham United’s drape and various memorabilia hanging on the walls, two dartboards and a pool table in a remote corner. And of course, a fully-stocked bar with all sorts of liquor bottles tidily displayed. A very charming and cozy pub, that’s how we want to remember it. Because if there was one thing for sure, it’d be that once these six are done, the place just won’t be the same.
- The referee ordered that the match would start, and Till immediately grabbed a stool and broke it on Nate’s back. While the two of them beat the crap out of each other in a literal bar fight, Brittany and Angelica threateningly closed in on the champion. It was every man for himself, obviously, but Alex seemed to have Ahalya’s back while the two old friends teamed up on her. Andrews grabbed a pool cue and pressed it against Jones’ throat, positioning herself next to the Firestar, falling back with a Russian leg sweep. Lohan took her eyes off the prize for a moment to check on her friend and paid for it as the Indian Goddess hit her with a throat strike. Ahalya then put her in a front headlock and suplexed her onto a table, crashing it.
- The ladies took the main room while the boys started fighting behind the counter. The Anti-Trend got the best of the German after smashing a bottle of bourbon on his head… What a waste! One of the glass shards got stuck in Schlotterback’s skull and blood started to flow down copiously from the open wound. Nate grabbed him by the neck with both hands and spun him around, pushing him into the edge of the counter. He kept choking him while pushing him further back, until he set him lying flat on his back on the under bar. Still putting pressure on Till’s throat with one hand, Nate used the other one to grab a rag and put it on his face. He then pulled down the lever and waterboarded, or perhaps I should say beerboarded, the German. As highly uncomfortable as that may have felt, the draught beer seemed to have the same effect on him as spinach has on Popeye. Till grabbed hold of a fork and planted it on Nate’s arm, getting free from the torture. Next he headbutted the Anti-Trend, causing him to stumble back a few steps, buying some time to pour himself a pint and down it in one long sip. Krelle charged at him and Till sent him flying to the other side of the counter with a back body drop. The stools softened his fall and when Till hooked the leg and made the cover, Nate managed to kick out in two.
- Ahalya got herself a busted lip courtesy of one of Jones’ kicks. The Indian Queen could feel the bitter taste of blood in her mouth and spat some on the floor. She picked up the pool cue and swung it a couple of times at Angelica, hitting her on the side and arm. The Dragon eventually disarmed her but that didn’t stop the champion. She started throwing cue balls at Angelica, who did a great job at dodging them. Well, most of them at least. The last one, the infamous 8 ball, caught her on the shoulder, giving Patel the opening she needed to floor her with the rear leg front kick. The champion made the cover but it wasn’t enough to keep The Firestar down.
- One of the flying balls hit Till on the back as he was stomping Nate’s chest, and the German wasn’t too pleased with it. He left the battered and bruised opponent lying on the floor, the fork still sticking out from his arm and went to attack Ahalya with a combination of punches. Patel tried to fight back but Till was too strong for her and kept gaining ground. Eventually the champion found herself back against the pool table and, before she knew it, she was getting lifted in the air and dropped through it with a rock bottom from Schlotterbeck. Till barely had time to think about making the cover before Brittany came from out of nowhere with a running kick, catching him on the side of the head and knocking him down. Lohan then made the cover on the Indian Queen, but Alex made the last minute save.
- Bodies were scattered all around the bar. Ahalya still recovering on the floor among the debris of the broken pool table, Till laying on the unhinged bathroom door after Nate speared him through it, Angelica and Brittany lying down one next to the other after they got DDTed by Alex. Andrews and Krelle were the only ones standing, ready to fight for the Chicago Way championship. The Anti-Trend finally removed the fork from his arm and threatened Alex with it, trying to stab her. Lady Limitless managed to dodge his lunges and kick the fork away, but she couldn’t avoid the following clothesline. Nate was now looming over Andrews, ready to break a chair on her. Then, all of a sudden and incomprehensibly, he arched his back and grounded in pain. The same thing happened a moment later, a possible explanation for what was going on came when something flew close to his head, passing inches away from his ear. As the camera zoomed out, we saw two darts sticking out of his back and more were coming as Till Schlotterbeck kept throwing darts at him. Luckily for Krelle, his aim was pretty bad, at least with darts. When it came to a running big boot, the German hit the target with absolute precision.
- Jones came really close to winning her first MWE title when she dropped Alex on her skull with the Hot Shot (pedigree), but the pinning predicament was broken up by none other than Britt Lohan. The two friends stared at each other intensely, a smile appearing on their lips as they were about to settle this between them. They wrestled, which considering the circumstances wasn’t something you should take for granted, trying to prevail on the other without resorting to weapons of tactics of the sort. Alex saw that and jumped in, leveling both of them with a double clothesline.Angelica was the first to get up and sent Andrews stumbling back with a stiff forearm strike. Andrews fired back and knocked the Firestar down with her Elysium but immediately after she ate a superkick from Brittany who then hooked her leg for a cover, broken up by Jones. It was cool too see some wrestling exchanges in a match dominated by violence, but that wasn’t meant to last. Till put an end to all this by running into the three women and knocking them down with the restroom door used as a battering ram.
- Things went back to “normal” in the final moments of the match with bodies flying everywhere, furniture getting shattered and blood flowing copiously. It was an elimination race, the one person left standing at the end of it will walk out with the title strapped around their waist. It definitely won’t be Nate Krelle, who will have a hard time recovering from that PROST! onto the door. The German, sadly, won’t be the new Chicago Way champion either, not after Brittany Lohan smashed a flat tv on his head. As for the SCW star, she met her fate at hands of her friend Angelica who stepped on a table to connect her From The Ashes (moonsault into a reverse DDT). That could’ve been it if Alex didn’t come back with a revenge on Jones for cracking her head open earlier when she rammed her head into a cabinet a few moments ago. Alex sneaked up behind her and dropped her on her head with the Hella Rough. And then there were two.
- Ahalya and Alex. Andrews and Patel. This was what all boiled down to, the current Chicago Way champion and a former Riot champion. The two moved in circles, scouting their surroundings for a weapon to use. Alex’ choice fell on the last pool cue, a weapon she proved to be quite proficient with. Ahaly opted for something more peculiar, although she was no stranger to using it successfully. She grabbed one of the West Ham United scarfs hanging on the wall and used it to defend herself from Andrews’ attacks, successfully disarming her after parrying a few strikes. Using her quickness, the Indian Goddess was able to wrap the scarf around Andrews neck and brought her on the mat where she tried to choke her out. Alex tried to fight her way out of it but the forces were abandoning her. She never tapped out though, hanging on for as long as she possibly could hoping that someone could come and break it up. But nobody was able to get there in time, and eventually she passed out. Ahalya was handed her title from the ref and proceeded to walk out of the pub, leaving carnage and five bodies behind her. On her way to the door, she hopped over the counter and poured herself a shot of whiskey. A well deserved drink before exiting the bar, still MWE Chicago Way champion.
WINNER: Ahalya Patel (STILL CHICAGO WAY CHAMPION) BY: Submission (rear naked choke with a scarf), 18:11

[Recorded Earlier]
In the attempt to fully prepare himself for what was going to happen at Anarchy in the UK, Andrew wanted to make sure he wasn't going to be distracted once he was at the Arena. He wanted to make sure that he got his point across beforehand because he was going to need all of his focus to make sure he walked away with the Riot Championship and stick it right to that little bitch World Champion, Julian Savell. He looked calm, serious and focused to deliver his message. Getting the chance he’s been waiting for since he lost the Chicago Way Championship, there was no better option from the division for Andrew to make his first Riot Championship defense against.
Andrew Raynes: I’ve always enjoyed how the stars find a way to align for me.
It’s been that way for a very long time since I started walking down this road. There was a time where I would have looked at things differently and acted accordingly but I’ve learned that things always happen for a reason. There will always come a time where I will get the chance to deal with something on my terms, when it's deemed to be appropriate.
That time has finally come for you, Olly.
Andrew smirks, knowing full well how cocky and arrogant Olly was going to be coming into this match, regardless of having fought the night before, Olly believed full well that he was going to cakewalk his way to a singles title here in MWE and ANdrew was banking on that all the way.
Andrew Raynes: I always knew there would come a time that you and I would finally cut the shit and look at each other dead in the face in that ring. Whether you want to admit it or not, from the minute your punk ass clubbed me from behind back at bound for greatness, there was always going to come a time where you would have to pay the piper on that.
That’s right, I never forgot.
I’m sure that’s of little consequence to you though, already convinced that you have this match in the bag, the arrogant way you try so hard to talk down to everyone you know is actually better than you, believing that you don't have to do much in order to accomplish something in this business because of you hide behind.
I probably would have been less motivated to beat the shit out of you had you not foolishly, or arrogantly, revealed yourself publicly to be the man behind IV and aligned with Julian and the Division. Honestly, when it happened it made so much more sense when you were so giddy over the fact that Julian had beaten me for the Chicago Way Championship. It must have made you so proud to please your little daddy to have helped him accomplish something he would have never done on his own because of how cowardly and weak he truly is. Finding that out though, only gave me more reason to enjoy the moment I would finally have the chance to get my pound of flesh for that.
Now the time has come.
Andrew starts to pace a little, getting himself fired up over this match. This wasn’t just about defending the championship, this was so much more than that. This was a chance to put a little punk kid in his place and finally be the one to stuff a sock deep down into his throat he would choke.
Andrew Raynes: I know damn well how over-confident you are in winning this match, Olly, It’s why I am not surprised that you chose to help Karen last night, even though she doesn't deserve it but to each their own. I don’t honestly give a damn though, I don’t care what condition you’ll be in for tonight, I have every intention of going full court press on you and I won’t stop until you’re good and beaten to a pulp.
I know you’re going to lean into that overconfidence as you try to take this title away from such a shit wrestler, you’re going to assume that you don't have to do much in order to beat me given how little you think of me. I’m hoping that you have every intention of not giving me one hundred percent of your effort because I am going to enjoy capitalizing on every mistake you make and exposing the true fear in your eyes as you begin to understand just who you’re truly up against,
And why Julian needed you in order to beat me.
Andrew looks even more focused at this point, ready to drive the main point home. There was a reason behind everything Julian did to stop ANdrew in his tracks. A reason why Julian wished he had never crossed paths with Andrew to begin with but we always end up meeting our kryptonite one way or another.
Andrew Raynes: Julian needed you because he knows that deep down, I am the only true threat to overtaking him and becoming the new World Champion, it’s the reason why he chose you to come take this Riot Championship away from me. He knows that Duke isn’t a threat to him, nor Melissa, Chris or even Billy. Julian knows that I am the one that will come back to haunt him. It was why he needed you to beat me, it’s why he made sure that he did whatever he could to prevent me from facing him on the summer tour for the briefcase. You can talk down to me all you want but it will inevitably happen. Why else do you think I was fine with allowing Duke to have the win in the triple threat cage match? Did you seriously think beating him under Kimmy’s rules was really going to amount to something serious?
Please kid, I'm not an idiot. When I pin Julian in the middle of that ring, it will be to pry the World title out of his precious little hands and there won’t be a damn thing any of you can do about it, no matter how hard you try. Just like it’s my intention to walk out of Anarchy in the UK still Riot Champion. You’re going to need to actually pull out all your little tricks to have a chance, Olly. you’re going to realize that this isn't going to be the walk in the park like you expect. I am going to make sure that I break you down and pull that little mask of insecurity off your face and smash it in front of you.
I want to see what you’re really made of, kid.
I want the real Olly, the real fight that it's going to take in order to take this title away from me. Can you give me that? Can you actually bring the true fight once you realize how deep in shit you actually are against me? Can you step up and beat me straight up or are you going to need your boys to come bail you out and steal this from me like Julian stole the Chicago Way Title? I am not afraid of you or the Division, Olly. I am not afraid of the idea of you needing backup to beat me. I knowingly put a target on my back each time because I can go out there and back it up on my own accord. If it takes half the division to take this belt from me, so be it. I will make sure that I go down giving you boys the worst night of your life and a fight that you never wanted. How mad will daddy be when everything you used to try and beat me fails though? What happens if you don’t get the job done? I know you won’t shut up though, you’ll likely make excuses for your failure while still trying to talk down to me but it all changes after that.
Just step up kid, show me what you’re really made of and see if you really do have the power to beat me.
Otherwise, I am going to enjoy everything I do to you inside that ring and anywhere else for that matter while I retain my Riot Championship and put Julian on notice.
Andrew pats his title, walking away as the scene fades
Cloud Gate Championship Match
Addi McKinsley © VS Luis Rivera
- These two have been at odds for over a year now, ever since Luis joined the Academy and beat the at the time Gold Star in mere seconds. That wasn’t the only shocking win the former boxer got over Captain Cloud Gate, repeating the impressive feat on Millennium a few weeks ago. Not to mention he also beat her in that tag match… Safe to say the pressure was all on the champion, and not only because her title was on the line. A fiasco on the grand stage was not something the cocky young champion would like to be remembered for, but Luis’ right hooks were so sudden and deadly they could end the match at any moment. Certainly something Addi needed to keep into account, and the cautious start of the match showed, if anything, that she had learned her lesson. The two competitors were moving in circles, studying each other’s movements, Lusi threw a couple of quick jabs to test the champ’s reflexes and Addison easily dodged them. Then all of a sudden he stopped and applauded the Cloud Gate champion, informing her that this was the longest she had lasted with him in a match. That was enough to set off McKinley who charged head on toward her rival. He went for his right hook but this time the killing blow didn’t find the target as Addison slid on the mat and under his legs, reappearing behind his back and dropping him down with a reverse DDT. She immediately made the cover but Rivera kicked out in two and half. And now, it was her turn to mock him, telling him that she got this close to end his undefeated streak.
- Maybe it was pride, the need to prove the doubters that she could beat Luis at his own game, but Addi surprisingly didn’t rely on her speed and agility to attack Luis, challenging him strike for strike. She was playing a dangerous game, and she knew it. At first, everything seemed to be working out just fine for her as she was able to land a few kicks to the former boxer’s chest, but soon enough he came up with a countermeasure for her attacks. The dodges became more frequent and were often followed by punches to the side and ribs that quickly knocked the wind out of her sails and allowed him to build some momentum. He added some knee strikes and kicks in his boxing combination to make it all more unpredictable and finally floored McKinley with a nasty uppercut, but she kicked out in two.
- Similarly to what Addi did earlier, Luis didn’t rely as heavily as he used to on his boxing combos, dabbling more with the technical aspects of the discipline in an attempt to show that he wasn’t a one trick pony. He tossed Addison around with a couple of suplexes, notably a beautiful bridging fisherman version that gave the former boxer a count of two. He definitely worked a lot in the technical aspects, improving his ground game widely as shown when he wrestled the Cloud Gate champion to the ground and kept her there with a front facelock. Addi pushed herself to her feet and briefly fired up with some punches to the stomach, in an attempt to escape the Califronian’s control but a knee strike to the face frustrated her attempt. Luis then dropped her down with a snapmare and kicked her hard on the spine, attempting another cover but only getting a two.
- The two competitors reset with a lock up, another situation where Rivera had it easy, overpowering the champion and pushing her toward the corner. But then Addison slipped out and pushed the opponent back first against the turnbuckle, hitting him with a couple of chops before switching to kicks to the chest. The referee asked her to step back and concede the clean break but she wasn’t going to stop. Actually, she hit the opponent with an enziguri kick to the side of the head, knocking him down. She climbed to the top rope and fell on him with a picture perfect moonsault, but nothing came out of it as Rivera got his shoulder up in two.
- The momentum was all on the champion’s side, the close calls for Luis kept coming and the concerns for his streak to come to an end looked more well-founded than ever. He surely showed resilience and great ring awareness when he got his foot on the ropes to break up Addi’s pinning predicament after her tornado DDT, but he truly looked on his last leg. If the past experiences had taught us, and Addi, anything it was the fact that moments like this were when she needed to keep her attention high and be extra careful. One single mistake, even the slightest one, could leave her open to Rivera’s punches, and she knew all too well that he only needed one to end the bout. And that was what she did, slowing down when the instinct would tell her to go all in. The only risk, if we can call it as such, she took was a springboard crossbody, and she got caught in mid air with an uppercut, wasting the advantage she had obtained up to that moment.
- And now it was Luis’ time to shine. No more prancing around, no more trying to prove that he should be considered as a complete wrestler rather than just a boxer cosplaying one. He was so close to winning his first title, there will be time to prove his worth once the Cloud Gate championship will be around his waist. The only thing that mattered now was to get the gold, and to do that he was going to stick to what he does best. Those hard punches were wreaking havoc in Addison’s defenses, the young Cloud Gate champion was unable to block or dodge them. And Luis just kept hitting her, completely turning the tide and working his way up to the win. McKinley looked dazed, stumbling toward her opponent, walking to her fate. Luis smirked as he swung his arm and delivered the infamous right hook but the G.O.A.T. ducked the blow and pinned the opponent with a backslide. Rivera was caught completely off guard and couldn’t kick out in time. That was it, the “invincible” suffered the first loss in his career.
WINNER: Addison McKinley (STILL CLOUD GATE CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Backslide Pin), 15:31

We open in the bowels of the O2 arena, the dark and dank boiler room area where no one really wants to be. It is eerily silent here and the small of noises ring out like echoes. And it is as if it were on cue, the sound of footsteps can be heard in the background. If footsteps weren’t creepy enough, the speakers then pick up the sounds of scratching noises on metal. These noises get louder and louder until we spot “The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams entering the view from the right. The Queen of the Death Match is wearing her crimson red ring gear along with a Queens of Chaos black leather jacket. She is wearing her knife glove that she calls “Betty White” on her right hand.
Kimberly Williams: You know something, Betty? I feel disappointed. I feel as if my talent is being wasted. More importantly, I feel as if MWE doesn’t appreciate the glorious chaos I bring to the table each and every week for my billions upon billions of Kimmymaniacs! See, I booked the greatest Riot in the history of this promotion. My Riot show pulled in so much money and so much ratings that Grace had to go and open up a new Swiss Bank Account. I made her and every other suit in this company a ton of money and how am I rewarded?
Williams shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams: Well I wasn’t, actually. I mean, I wouldn’t ask for much in terms of a reward. A Chicago Way Title Match would be nice. Or maybe the chance to book another edition of Riot would be cool. I’m not even gonna be like the rest of the egotistical clowns in this company and demand a shot at the World Title. Julian Savell can have that championship for as long as he wants because I don’t want it. I don’t really want anything to do with him or his boring little Division. And therein lies the gag, Betty! Tonight, Anarchy in the UK, I get to fight The Division! MWE has chosen me, The Queen of the Death Match, to take on the single most boring entity in the history of professional wrestling!
The Woman Scorned puts her ear up to the glove, as if she is listening to it whisper in her ear.
Kimberly Williams: What’s that, Betty? You think MWE management WANTS me to be pest control? Do you think that they really wants moi to exterminate The Division? Do you think they want me to take each and every one of those dull as fuck clowns and carve them up like a damn thanksgiving day turkey?! I could, yeah, and I even thought about it for a hot minute. My little Riot Spectacular admittedly was a shot at those boring fools. I could have continued my quest, but you know what? If you’re good at something never do it for free. And when it comes to maiming the competition you don’t get any better than Kimberly Williams.
A sinister grin forms on her face.
Kimberly Williams: So Division, you’d better get on your fucking knees and pray that this is the last time you ever have to deal with the Queen of the Death Match. I am here tonight not on some grand crusade but because I am being paid to murder one of both of these idiots thrown at me here tonight. Whether you survive this encounter depends entirely upon if WE let you…that’s right, WE…because I get to pick a partner.
Williams pauses for a moment.
Kimberly Williams: Y’know, Betty? I kept looking at the card and asking myself, just when will The Division representatives be confirmed? Hell, unless I missed something those un-charasmatic lame as hell fucks still haven’t confirmed a damn thing. Since they have not confirmed anything then neither will I. If they are going to keep their partners close to the chest, then so will I. Will I come out there with one of my fellow Queens of Chaos? You can bet that where one goes, the rest will follow, the rest will have my back. Or…maybe I could go with family? My twin sister Marie Jones is here. We could reform Twin Magic and show Bad & Boujee how the twin thing is really done! I have also teamed with Jessica before, so if she’s still up to it then maybe I could team with her tonight? I am good friends with all three Lohan sisters. I could get Brittany to work with me tonight. She’s not above cracking some skulls. Or…since you unoriginal and uncreative jackasses know how to do is use gang mentality, perhaps I should just cut to the chase and have every single Queen of Chaos, and my entire blood family in attendance tonight, just overwhelm each and every one of you until all of you are in the hospital?!
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams: It’s entirely up to you. We can have a match…or we can go to war…either way I will do what I do best and gut you like a fish.
Tag Team Match
Kimberly Williams & Partner Of Her Choosing VS The Division (members To Be Confirmed)
- Nobody really knew what to expect from this match. The only person who was announced to compete was the two time Chicago Way champion Kimberly Williams but neither her partner nor their opponents had been revealed yet. Not even the commentary team had any clue about the wrestlers involved, and they were just as surprised as everyone else when Kimberly Williams walked out with… Kimberly Williams? Are we seeing double? Obviously the Woman Scorned didn’t clone herself, although that wouldn’t be the weirdest thing she had done in her career. The woman standing next to her was her identical twin Marie Jones who already got involved in MWE when Kimberly was feuding with Nightfall Rising. But now it was time to see who The Division members were. The choice was pretty limited after the attack suffered by Thatcher Ray Nash and Atlas. Olly,Julian and the Murder City Saints were already scheduled to compete later tonight, Jack Graves was likely still recovering from the war he went through with Duke Andrews the night before. Considering the stable members across the three promotions they are involved in, there were only two members available. McKena Hardy and Tyson Gregry. The House Of Wrestling star walked out on the stage, oddly enough alone. She had a microphone in her hand, and she used it to announce that “unforeseen circumstances forced a change of plans”. Apparently she was scheduled to have Atlas by her side, but since Julian’s protegé was no longer available… “Done With Everything” by Line So Thin blared out of the PA system, and the crowd immediately started buzzing. They knew this song, they had listened to it a few times during Modern Pro Wrestling’s short run and they definitely weren’t expecting to hear it again tonight, although it made all the sense in the world to see him teaming up with his cousin. Jvstice Hardy was back in London, and despite his allegiance with The Division, he got welcomed by a decent pop from the fans.
- The Hardys exchanged a nod and sprinted to the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and immediately taking the fight to the twins. The bell rang as the four competitors were brawling, and the fact that the referee didn’t even try to restore order before getting the match under way kind of showed that the rules will be enforced very laxly to say the least. Jvstice easily got the best of Marie, overpowering her and leveling her with a clothesline. This gave him the chance to help his cousin who was struggling against Kim, hitting the Woman Scorned from behind with a forearm to the back of the head. He then picked her up and held her upside down in a vertical suplex. McKena superkicked her in the head while Jvstice brought her down with a brainbuster. He then rolled her out of the ring and Mac dove to the outside with a diving somersault, taking her down. Inside the ring remained Jvstice and Marie, and they became the legal competitors.
- Hardy delivered a powerful dropkick to Marie that sent her crashing into the corner. He then continued to pummel her with a barrage of strikes, showing a perhaps meaner and more aggressive side of his personality but Jones managed to escape and evade his attacks. She hit Jvstice with a couple of kicks to the chest and followed with a monkey flip, but that was when his agility came into play, allowing him to land on his feet. He found the time to flash a cocky smirk at the camera before leveling the oncoming opponent with a superkick. Hardy then made the cover but Marie kicked out in two.
- Jvstice looked in control, showing off a bit with his The Gavel, obtaining another near fall. After entertaining the crowd, he went for a standing moonsault, finding nobody home and learning the hard way that wasting time is never a good idea on big stages like this. Marie was quickly back to her feet and jumped on Hardy’s back with a double foot stomp as he was on all fours trying to get up, driving him down on the canvas. She rolled him on his back and performed a standing moonsault of her own. Unlike Jvstice, she nailed the move and obtained a near fall out of it.
- A little over six minutes on the clock and the two starting competitors decided it was time to take a break and let their partners take the stage. Kimberly was known for her intensity, but tonight she seemed to take it to a higher level, grabbing the Anti Hero by her hair and slamming her head into the corner. She then dragged her to the next corner, repeating the move on the third as well. She stopped short of the fourth and final corner, the one where Jvstice was standing. She knocked him off the apron with her Morrigan’s Wrath superkick before placing her hand on the back of McKena’s head to drive it on the turnbuckle and complete the tour of the ring. But Hardy blocked this one by placing her foot on the middle rope and driving her elbow in the former Chicago Way champion’s stomach. The Wildcard then suffered the same fate she was delivering to her opponent, stumbling back toward the center of the ring. McKena attacked her with a volley of kicks, finishing her with the Jaded buzzsaw kick that gave the Division rep a count of two.
- However, McKena’s momentum was short-lived. Stealing a page from Bad & Boujee (although Kim will say they stole it from her and Marie first), the twins took advantage of the ref’s distraction to make the switch. Jvstice tried to warn the ref and his cousin but Marie caught McKena off guard with a sweeping leg, sending her hanging on the middle rope. Marie then leaped over the top rope landing on the apron and charging at McKena, hitting her with a running knee strike to the side of the head. Hardy fell flat on her back, perfectly positioned for a slingshot senton from Jones worth a long two count. Kimberly’s twin kept the momentum going with a German suplex and a shining wizard, but she still couldn’t keep McKena down. The HoW talent tried to mount a comeback but was quickly shut down by a stiff dropkick from Marie who then made the tag to her sister. Now rested, Kimberly went back to work, blasting Hardy with stiff combinations. Mac had to take a shortcut in order to catch a break, raking Williams’ eyes and taking the chance to immediately tag her cousin in.
- Jvstice wasted no time and knocked the blinded Kimberly down with a massive shoulder tackle. He flexed for the camera before hitting the ropes and jumping in the air for a knee drop, but Williams moved out of the way and planted him on his face with a hurricanrana driver. The two kept fighting back and forth at a fast pace, trading striking combinations and quick pinfalls attempts. And eventually they ended up knocking each other down when they both went for a running big boot at the same time. They started crawling to the respective corner, making the tag to the respective partners at the same time. But that wasn’t the last time they crossed paths, colliding a couple of minutes later when Kim attacked Jvstice to prevent him from getting inside the ring and break up the pin.
- The two of them kept fighting outside the ring while Mac and Marie fought through the ropes. McKena came close to the win with the Antihero Drop (inverted DDT) but it was Marie who gained momentum and seemed to be on the fast track to take the W for her team. She connected a shotgun dropkick to McKena’s chest, pushing her back into the turnbuckle. Marie went for a running splash but she ran right into Hardy’s raised foot. Pretty much at the same time her sister suffered a much worse fate as Jvstice hit Kimberly with his Truth In Vengeance (fireman’s carry into a cutter). McKena started fumbling with the protective pad and removed it, exposing the steel turnbuckle. The referee yanked the pad away from her hand and put him back into place before someone got hurt but as he was busy with that he turned his back to the wrestlers, missing a very important piece of action. Marie hit McKena with a leaping knee and was about to knock her down with a superkick when Jvstice grabbed her foot and pulled her out of the ring. He then pushed Kimberly inside the ring, using the switch against the twins. Absolutely brilliant! And while he took care of Marie, McKena climbed to the top rope and dove on Kimberly with the Outcast Splash, scoring one for the Division.

The camera shifts backstage to show Jvstice and McKena celebrating their victory over the redhead twins. The morale is sky-high for the Hardy family after their successful performance against the redhead twins, at least two out of three of them. The happy and celebratory mood gets somehow spoiled when their younger cousin Alice Wagner walks into the scene. The talented Academy student doesn’t seem to share their cheerfulness, and they know her well enough to immediately understand that the outcome of her pre-show match has little to do with it.
Alice Wagner: Grats on the win guys… Can you give us a couple of minutes?
She says in a serious tone that clashes with their mood and the complementary nature of her words. The last question is addressed to McKena, asking her to leave the room so that she could speak alone with Jvstice.
McKena Hardy: Alice…
Alice Wagner: Please, Mac..
The smile is now completely gone from McKena’s face. She quickly glances at Jvstice, then back at Alice. Hardy lets out a sigh and takes a couple of steps forward, stopping next to her cousin. She rests a hand on her shoulder, speaking gently in almost a whisper.
McKena Hardy: Great match out there. It’s a shame it ended the way it did, you deserved better.
To those words, Alice simply nods. You could see that she was appreciative of what McKena just said but, at the same time, the memory of what happened in the pre-show still hurt. McKena then takes her hand away from Alice’s shoulder and leaves the room. For a few seconds, there’s only silence. Then Alice finally raises her eyes and looks at her cousin.
Alice Wagner: So, is this why you agreed to come with me? To join The Division? You.. I…
She stuttered. Obviously she’s not a fan of Julian Savell or his crew, that much became clear when McKena joined them a few weeks ago. Jvstice slowly burrowed his brow and crossed his arm obviously having detected the buzzkill that was Alice’s mood in the moment, and he let out a sigh.
Jvstice Hardy: What? No.
The words were simple enough, but the implication seemed to hold something of much more weight to him. Almost offensively.
Jvstice Hardy: But you automatically thought that’s what I was doing I see. Glad to know you think so highly of me.
Though the words were said a bit callously he played them off with a joking smirk which he sure wouldn’t have been returned in the moment, but still he didn’t like feeling the tension between them either. His go to mechanism for defense was humor, but it could’ve seemed mistakenly dismissive.
Jvstice Hardy: What’s the big deal Alice? Our cousin needed someone to help her and I was available, its a chance for me to put myself out there again, and do so in front of an audience who is familiar with me. I never got a chance to say goodbye to London before my last company just up and closed, and I had a chance to help a member of our family out. Much like I would’ve done for you if the circumstances were the same.
He was completely serious now, and the way he seemed to fold his arms in front of him said that he also had his defenses up, if there was anybody he hated fighting with, it was Alice. She listened intently to her cousin’s defense argument, and found him convincing. Letting out a sigh, she leaned back against the wall.
Alice Wagner: I’m sorry, Jvstice… It’s just been a crappy weekend and you know Murphy's Law, right? Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. So I just assumed, and only now I realize how wrong it was of me.
She couldn’t even look in his eyes as she said that, legitimately feeling bad for coming at him the way she did.
He stared at her for a moment, lowering his barriers now. They obviously were close, aside from her words he could also read her body language, he knew her struggles, and knew what it meant to her to have to give up the opportunity she did this weekend to stand by her values. That was Alice though, true to her convictions, even when adversity struck.
Jvstice Hardy: Its okay, I’m aware that you had a rough time and I wanted to give you the space you needed before we talked about it. It took major balls to do what you did out there, when everything could’ve been handed to you on a silver platter of sorts. That respect you want is showing through and that means a little more than being the gold star does right now.
He was honest in his reply, though he knew they thought about things differently where this business was concerned, there was no denying he had her back when it came down to it.
Alice Wagner: If I truly want to change this business, I can’t start by taking a shortcut.
As naive as that sounded, she spoke those words with conviction.
Alice Wagner: But that doesn’t give me the right to judge you, or Mac… I just…
The Academy student let out a sigh.
Alice Wagner: I just wish she didn’t take this path. She doesn’t need to, and I hope one day soon she’ll realize that.
Forcing a smile, she pushed herself off the wall and gave Jvstice a playful punch on the shoulder.
Alice Wagner:[ Glad to see you still got it, though. The finish was…huh… let’s say creative, Not something I would have done but I can see some… Poetic jvstice in that. With a V,
He laughed, playfully overselling her punch with a gasp, before returning her smile.
Jvstice Hardy: If I had an Alice in Chains reference for you right now, i’d definitely use it.
He smirked before rolling his neck.
Jvstice Hardy: You know I’m go with the flow type, tiff-for-taff or whatever you want to call it. She played dirty, we played dirty back. I don’t pretend I’m going to chance Mac’s mind, much like I don’t pretend like I’m going to change yours, eh?
He gave a little playful uplift of the chin giving her a simple nod.
Jvstice Hardy: I am definitely happy to get some of the rust off though, this match and the big ass battle royale we had at Metaverse has really helped me get back into the fighting spirit. Just ready to take it next level truly. I appreciate the support though.
He smiled now.
Jvstice Hardy: And hey I did think of this great restaurant to take you too not far from here, not exactly London Town Food, but Malaysian, something different and lots of vegan options for you. How about we get you out of here and cheer you up a little?
The idea improved her mood, although you could tell that something was still bothering her.
Alice Wagner: Sounds good but…We should ask McKena if she wants to tag along too. I owe her an apology and I can’t think of a better place to do it than in front of a plate of blue rice.
He nodded, pulling her in for a half hug.
Jvstice Hardy: And after that you can finally give me that cover of “Anarchy in the UK” that I asked for.
He teasingly joked with her before releasing the hold grabbing hold of his bag and nodding to her so they could head out to find McKena.
WA shrilllll scream....
Without a doubt, we're once again hearing the horrifying beginning to a Murder City Saints promo. After the scream, we open in darkness. A single flame can be seen in the middle of the dark. It's small at first, lighting the tip of a single match. However, the match does not appear to be burning down. Instead it stays lit. A few seconds go by and another match comes into view. It catches the flame of the first match, causing a brighter flame. A third match enters, a fourth, and before long there are several matches coming together to create a flame worthy of lighting a room.
That's when we finally see them, RAZE and Wade Manson. They've always been there in the dark, lighting these matches that don't seem to burn out. Some sort of symbolism, surely. But now that the room was well lit and the two were revealed, Manson stepped forward more into the light.
Wade Manson: In the beginning, things were different. It was just RAZE and I, the Murder City Saints they called us. They still do sometimes, because at the end of the day it's more than where we came from, it's who we ARE. Even back then RAZE and I had a high body count, and there are still some still around to this day...here in MWE...that can tell you the stories. But those aren't the stories I want to tell today, those aren't the days that I want to dwell on. This isn't a story about how great we were back then, even if we were. This is a story about how much greater we've BECOME.
Manson adjusts the LPW Extreme Championship on his shoulder, the flicker from the fire bouncing off the gold plate.
RAZE: We evolved. We became something bigger, something better. We became The Division. Back then, I wouldn't even speak. Then recall how I came into MWE, by taking out Devin Hearst. By making my voice HEARD! The Division accomplished that. The Division has taken out everyone in its path. You've known about our intentions for months, and still nothing happened. Still, whenever you put your heroes forward, they fell.
While RAZE chuckles to himself, remembering his battles with Hearst, Wade steps forward again. He takes his right index finger, now tapping it to the gold plate on his shoulder.
Wade Manson: This LPW Extreme Championship. GEW Grand Championship. MWE World Championship. These were just at the very beginning. We took these as we were getting started, but now there's no stopping us!
RAZE takes hold of what has now become a large torch of fire and he walks it away from the camera to the back wall. He puts the flames to the wall, the fire eventually jumping to the wall and beginning to set ablaze. The flames definitely give us more light for the camera, although probably not the safest. Manson is unfazed by these actions.
RAZE: That's something that you still don't get. The Division is bigger than MWE. Bigger than LPW, GEW, HoW, EPW...bigger than everything. We engulf the entire Agora Network! So while you try to drive us from your home here, we're also succeeding a few states over...succeeding the next country over. Consider yourselves part of history, MWE. It all started within these walls. The cultural hearth of The Division is here. That's history, that is. They'll want to preserve that when someone digs up whatever is left of this place after we're done...
The flames on the back wall have now crawled across the entirety of it, at least what we can see from the camera view. RAZE and Wade are unbothered, and don't even look back at it.
Wade Manson: Clyde, Erika. You two never evolved, never got better. Never grew up. I’m sorry mommy could never be around to teach you about real monsters. Now you can't understand that this flame has gotten so much larger than you realize. It spread long before you had a chance to stomp it out, and no matter what you do it's going to take the pair of you. Especially if you stay here and try to fight it. Only misery awaits. Of course, if that's something you agree to then I fully support your decision.
Although the camera can't capture it, there seems to be flames coming from above. This conclusion is only drawn by the small amount of smoke that makes its way across the top of the camera perspective. The walls on either side of them have definitely been engulfed in flames. Still, the duo don't appear to be very worried about it.
RAZE: That's enough Wade, they've been warned. It's time to put the kiddies down for bed...
The last thing we see is flames travel up from the floor and pop into view for just a mere second. Suddenly, the scene goes static, and we're led to assume that the fire took the camera set up causing it to cut out.
Tag Team Match No DQ Clyde Eldon Jr. & Erika Eldon VS The Division (RAZE & Wade Manson)
- An execution. If you asked the fans what they were expecting from this match, that was going to be the most common answer you’d get. And quite frankly, it was hard to disagree with the statement. RAZE and Manson may be pursuing singles careers in MWE and Liberty now, but they started off as a team, and a dominant one. Back in the days, the Murder City Saints were known for their ruthless style and a certain penchant for violence, and the hardcore rules were definitely playing in their favor. Clyde and Erika, on the other hand, have not had the best of luck in their tag team run, and in their previous encounters with the Division, they always got their asses handed to them. Erika, especially, looked dejected as she walked to the ring, beaten before the match even started. Clyde tried to cheer her up and give her courage but his words of encouragement didn’t seem to work on his sister, and neither could the support of the fans.
- The Eldons’ lack of experience was evident from the get going when they agreed that Clyde would start the match. RAZE and Wade chuckled, knowing that with no DQs in place nobody was expecting the teams to actually tag in and out. They waited until Erika got to her corner before double teaming Clyde, hitting him with stereo forearm strikes before sending him into the ropes and knocking him down with a double elbow to the face. It finally dawned on Erika that this could be considered a tornado match and she bravely stepped in the ring, taking on the MCS. Her burst of offense was quickly cut short by RAZE with a wicked clothesline. The Anomaly then lifted the young woman upside down with a vertical suplex while his partner climbed to the top, ready to jump and drive her down for an assisted brain buster. But Clyde was back on his feet and pulled his sister down, freeing her from RAZE’s grasp. Together, they pushed the Liverpool native toward his partner, driving his head into Wade’s crotch. The Liberty Pro Extreme champion fell down landing hard on the apron and leaving his partner alone with the Eldons. Erika and Clyde tried to take advantage, attacking RAZE with a flurry of strikes and getting the first near fall of the match.
- The Eldons’ favorable moment only lasted until Manson came back in the ring with a chair and smacked it across Erika’s back. Clyde turned around to defend his sister but he got rocked by a chair shot to the skull from Wade who then dropped the weapon on the floor so that RAZE could powerbomb CEJ on top of it. The two young men were down, but The Division wasn’t done with them. In case it wasn’t clear, this wasn’t about winning a match they cared so little about, having their sight set on different goals than tag team gold. Tonight was about sending a message to whoever thought standing up to The Division was a good idea, just like Clyde and Erika. RAZE brought a table inside the ring and opened it, laying CEJ on top of it for Wade to jump from the third rope with a double foot stomp. Things weren’t going any better for Erika who got sat down in the corner by RAZE who then placed a chair on her face. He took a few steps back to get a head start and kick her in face, leaving her motionless on the floor.
- It was a one-sided contest, just like everyone expected it to be. The Murder City Saints could have ended it at any moment but they were enjoying this too much to cut it short. To Clyde’s credit, the kid was not one to give up so easily. And in that sense, the lack of rules was something he could use to his advantage. He hit Wade with a low blow and pushed him into the ring post shoulder first. Picking up a chair from the floor, he then used it to give his sister some room to breathe, repeatedly smacking the chair on RAZE’s back until it got bent out of shape. He then finished the Englishman with a kick to the head but it wasn’t enough to keep RAZE down.
- A gutsy performance from Clyde and Erika who lasted ten minutes against the vicious Division duo and even came close to the win with a spinning heel kick from the youngest of the siblings. But The Division was done playing games. Poor Erika got yeeted out of the ring by RAZE who then joined his partner in beating down Clyde. He was the one who stepped up, he was the one who convinced Erika that “someone has to stop them”, he was the one who had to pay for it. The kicks and stomps kept coming even though Clyde was not moving, Erika tried to help her brother but she couldn’t even make it inside the ring as a running big boot from RAZE knocked her off the apron as she was about to step in. In the meantime, Manson delivered his Decapitator Kick to Clyde as he was about to get up. He called his partner who scraped up Eldon from the canvas and lifted him in the air for the Atomic Bomb.
- Quick as lightning, the mysterious ninja made their return, this time armed with a staff. They stood between the Murder City Saints, their eyes studying their movements and shifting their guard and positioning according to which one of them was more likely to strike first. RAZE stepped forward and they drove one end of their weapon in his stomach, doubling him over. With swift movements, they rotated on their right foot and smacked the oncoming Manson with a shot to the face. They kept using their weapon with grace and effectiveness, keeping the two men at distance and leaving red bruises on their bodies. Things seemed to take a turn for the worse for them when RAZE parried their blow, holding onto the staff with both hands. But they still had an ace up their sleeve, jumping in the air with a lateral flip and taking the Anomaly down with a sweep kick. Manson was already charging toward them and they stuck out the staff toward him to block his attack while falling back and using Wade’s own momentum against him and taking him down with a monkey flip. Another great display of agility from the ninja as they kipped up and planted the staff on the Liberty Extreme Champion’s stomach. RAZE tried to sneak up behind them but they must have had eyes behind their back as they hit him with a back kick to the mid section, doubling him over.
- Clyde finally recovered and looked up at the ninja, who just nodded at them. Eldon caught the hint and charged for his patented spear, watching his savior moving out of the way at the last moment with a lateral roll. RAZE didn’t see Eldon coming until the very last moment, but then it was already too late. Clyde hooked his leg and made the cover while his sister and the ninja made sure that Manson couldn’t break up the pin.
- in an unexpected turn of events and with a big help from a mysterious friend, Clyde and Erika defeated the odds and beat The Division. Raze and Wade’s partners didn’t take this too kindly and came to the ring in full force, with the sole exception of Olly who will be competing in just a few moments. The Division surrounded the ring, Clyde and Erika gathered around the ninja ready to fight with a new found confidence and enthusiasm. They looked around, counting their enemies and watching as they climbed on the apron. The ninja were undoubtedly skilled, but they were no fools and they knew the numbers game was just too much. They fumbled with their costume and picked a small sphere. They looked at both Clyde and Erika and nodded before tossing the small object on the canvas. A smokescreen immediately came out of it, shrouding the ring and allowing the trio to retreat safely. By the time the fog thinned out, they were long gone.

The camera cuts backstage where we find Clyde and Erika Eldon still following the mysterious ninja who helped them win their match and escape from the Division. There must be a lot of questions going through their minds, most importantly concerning the identity of their savior and the reason for their actions. But there was no time to talk, not yet. The Division was likely on their tracks and they must be pissed.
The trio runs the maze of hallways that’s the O2 Arena, although the ninja seems to know exactly where they’re going. Always followed by the camera, they turn a corner and find themselves in front of a ramp of stairs. They quickly climb the steps in twos, reaching an emergency door leading to the roof. The ninja pushes it open and out in the night they are, most importantly out of The Division’s reach. Right next to the door was a rope the ninja was going to use to climb down from the roof.
Erika and Clyde exchange a puzzled look as their rescuer walks to the edge of the roof. There’s no way in hell they’re going to follow her there, that’s crazy.
The Ninja: Emergency stairs are on the opposite side of the building. I left the door open for you.
They speak calmly, in a surprisingly sweet female voice. Erika looks a bit confused, while Clyde seems to almost recognize the voice.
Clyde Eldon Jr: Um…Who are you?
The two seemingly know they really owe her a thank you for her actions, wanting to know who they should thank.
The ninja doesn’t respond. She doesn’t even turn around actually, not before removing the ski-mask hiding her face. Long blonde hair cascaded down her shoulder, giving another hint about her identity. Slowly she turns around, revealing her face to the camera and to Karen’s kids.
The Ninja: Clyde… Erika… Long time no see.
Shocked by who they see, a big smile forms across Erika’s face. She wastes no time in rushing into their savior with a huge hug. The girl on the other end, takes in the hug as Clyde seems to breathe a sigh of relief.
Erika Eldon: Violet!? It’s been so long.
Though her relationship is still not clear it’s clear that the Eldon siblings have a strong affection for the woman as Erika backs away, Clyde takes a chance to give her a quicker hug as well.
Violet Eldon: Indeed. Five long years since uncle Clyde passed away…
A moment of heavy silence follows her statement. Clearly all three of them were close to the patriarch of the Eldon family who we just learned was Violet’s uncle, thus making her Clyde and Erika’s cousin.
Violet Eldon: And I hate to see that your mother is still the bitch she was back then.
Unsurprisingly, Violet isn’t a fan of Karen which explains why she attacked her and Olly on night one. They both realize it was her on night one, only making them more happy. It’s clear the way they look at her, that the two have a big admiration for Violet.
Clyde Eldon Jr: That was amazing! Yeah, she is still the worst…But hey really appreciate what you did out there, the Division has been awful around here.
Erika Eldon: You kicked ass!
Erika says this, unable to really hide at all how much she admires Violet, their older cousin.
The tall blonde chuckles, running a hand through her hair.
Violet Eldon: I guess all those hours training in martial arts did pay off. In spite of all those people saying that fight scenes in movies are unrealistic and they won’t work in the real world, right?
She winks at her cousins, revealing another detail about her. Looks like the older Eldon works in the entertainment industry, as a stuntwoman or as a choreographer for the action movie industry.
Violet Eldon: You know I never liked your mom. I’m not saying that she’s the reason why I left, but not having to deal with her is definitely a quality of life improvement. I saw what she put you two through in the past year or so, and I couldn’t stand it anymore. I happened to be in England for work and decided to teach her a lesson.
Erika Eldon: We really appreciate it…
Erika debates going in for another hug but stops herself as Clyde smiles, seeming much more relaxed after a trying last few weeks.
Clyde Eldon Jr: We should get out of here before they come looking for us, perhaps we can meet somewhere later and talk further?
Violet Eldon: Good idea. There’s an Italian restaurant right behind the corner. Kicking ass always makes me hungry.
Violet smiles once again at their cousins before pulling the ski mask back on her face.
Violet Eldon: Meet me there, I’ll buy you guys dinner.
And with that said, the “new” Eldon uses the rope to climb down from the roof. Clyde and Erika, instead, opt for the safer route
Riot Championship Match
Andrew Raynes © VS Olly
- The Division had proven just how dominant they could be and the constant attacks on everyone who threatened to interrupt that dominance was met with the utmost of beat downs. Raynes had suffered that in his last match with Abby Blake, being made a no contest as he was attacked in his locker room, but tonight the Riot Champion looked pissed and he was ready to go. Olly on the other hand looked half-broken and beaten, bandaging lacing the Division members shoulder after having fought in Night One and suffering the attacks from one of MWE’s new arrivals a mysterious ninja turned to reveal Violet Eldon.
- Despite looking still, Olly showed his tolerance for pain and his ability to do anything to win, just as Rayne’s was preparing in the corner Olly went in with a knee right to the back of his head what he calls the Random Act of Violence, before the bell even rang, getting sanctioned by the referee for the move he put his hands up in an innocent demeanor, but the shit-eating grin he had showed otherwise and the referee finally rang the bell. For the first few moments, Olly dominated the contest aside from his cheap move starting out the match, he used a few big boots in the corner keeping the big man down, Before he mounted up and hit those 10-punches in the turnbuckle that had the fans counting along, but Olly stopped mid-way telling them to “shut the fuck up”. This gave Rayne’s a moment to slink under him and he lifted him up from his position on the turnbuckle into a hard hitting powerbomb that favored that injured shoulder.
- Rayne’s noticing the attention Olly was paying to his shoulder made him pay special attention to that detail, grabbing hold of his arm he lifted it up and slammed it back down into the canvas and Olly screamed out in pain, but it was only momentary before Raynes pulled him half up and grabbed hold of that injured shoulder once again pressed into it with a mandible claw sort of move, this caused Olly to quickly go for the ropes, but Rayne’s had him locked in pretty good with it and despite reaching the ropes with both his feet, Rayne’s held the move in longer just to show that he could play nasty too if need be.
- The match continued with much of the same vigor, Olly using whatever tactic he could to take advantage, a missed running splash into the corner saw Rayne’s eating bare metal as a turnbuckle pad had mysteriously been removed, followed by a low blow, that turned into a roll up, that almost lost him the match if Olly hadn’t gone for the pin with his bad shoulder. Rayne’s looked impressive as well indicating just why he’s was the champion, even showing off some of his high flying skills with the awesome Syndication (Top Rope Somersault Neckbreaker) move almost ending the match if he weren’t so close to the ropes when Olly landed.
- Both men were super fatigued towards the end of the match, and that fatigue was clear as Olly’s desperation became even more so when the referee caught him pulling out his brass knuckles just as he was about to go for his superman punch. Olly turned to argue with the referee, only for Rayne’s to kick him in the back of the knee and lock in Caught in The Rayne (Tazzmission) Favoring that messed up shoulder of Olly’s. The rampway saw Olly’s division friends looking to come to the rescue and Rayne’s pulled him back even further lowering Olly all the way to the mat to maximize the hold, and using her free hand to stick up a middle finger gesture towards the members descending the ramp. The Hold plus his injury was too much for Olly to take and he tapped. With Rayne’s rolling from the ring and grabbing his belt, knowing his attempt to take on so many men at one time would be a pointless one, though he still stared the men down in the ring smiling from ear to ear knowing he just got one over on them. There was no denying this wouldn’t be the end of this one, but for now, Rayne’s retained.

Chris Sanderson: Triple threat match tonight. Winner is the top contender for the MWE Championship. You’d think I’d be excited getting close to what I want here in Millenium Wrestling and yet… I’m really not.
Sanderson stood in the halls of the O2 Arena in London with his gear on and a hoodie with a pair of wireless headphones down around his neck.
Chris Sanderson: Why is this a triple threat? I beat Billy Danielson. Beat him. Beat him soundly. He tried to knee me into next week but it wasn’t enough. For a man who likes to call himself this or that, you really… REALLY… haven’t accomplished much lately. Same can be said for me but, still… I beat you.
Shake of the head follows.
Chris Sanderson: I don’t get why he’s in this match. Doesn’t make sense. There’s enough history between Melissa Reeves and myself to make it into a match that people will pay to see. Throwing him in here, when I pinned his shoulders to the mat is a horrible decision. But they were dumb enough to not resign me a few years ago here so what can you do?
A chuckle follows now.
Chris Sanderson: Melissa Reeves. Been a while, hasn’t it? Don’t think we’ve really been in a ring this close since that night. The night you used that briefcase and made me the shortest champion in MWE history, at least to my knowledge.
Slight pause. His expression has remained neutral, not really leaning one way or another.
Chris Sanderson: You know what’s really strange? I at least have respect for you in this company, Reeves. I might not like you anymore. We can try to erase the time we were together, but still, at least when it comes to being in that ring, I respect what you can do. We stood side-by-side battling the evil injustices of this company once upon a time. Forced to fight against one another.
Sanderson paused again for a second, choosing his wording carefully.
Chris Sanderson: Then I broke your heart and ruined everything. You did what you had to do. Just like I’m doing now. Just like how I need to be the MWE Champion for a third time. Do you think I want my last reign to be a footnote at the start of your’s, Reeves? It’s embarrassing and a blight that haunts me. A nightmare that creeps into my head. One of the biggest reasons why I will do needs to be done to be a three-time champion.
Chris shook his head.
Chris Sanderson: Since that night, Reeves, I haven’t been the same as a wrestler. You can point to that night, August 29th, 2019, as the night that began my downfall. It fucked with me for months, for a long time, and I tried to escape it. Tonight? I’m embracing it. I will leave you and Danielson laying in a pool of blood if that’s what it takes. I will win tonight. I will.
Sanderson put his headphones back on and walked away.
Triple Threat Match #1 Contender for the MWE World Championship Melissa Reeves VS Chris Sanderson VS Billy Danielson
- Three of the biggest stars in MWE, a shot at the World championship for the winner. That was enough to make this match one of the most anticipated of this two days of wrestling without even needing to add to the mix Melissa’s crusade against the Division, her history with Chris Sanderson, the fact that he was the only two-time MWE World champion in history and looking for number three or Billy’s hunt for that spot at the top of the food chain. But all those things were inevitably part of this match, contributing to its allure and raising the stakes. The tension was visible on their faces as they took the center of the ring. The bell sounded and Chris immediately dropped on the floor and rolled out of the ring. A bit of a cowardly strategy, if you want, but one that could potentially work. After all, he did something similar to win his Liberty championship title shot at the recent Metaverse I event between the New York based company and House Of Wrestling (still available on the Agora network, catch it if you missed it!), so why not give it another chance? Reeves and Danielson shook their heads in disappointment before locking up. Or at least that was what Billy pictured in his mind, but Mel had different plans and she ducked under his arm to kick him behind the knee. She then sprinted toward the ropes and charged at Billy who welcomed her with a clothesline. Once again Reeves dodged the impact and continued her run, launching herself through the ropes to take down Sanderson. The crowd erupted in cheers as she grabbed the two time champion and pushed him back in the ring. Nice try, Chris!
- They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but Chris Sanderson didn’t feel that way, immediately getting his payback on his ex-girlfriend by dropping her on the top rope with a stun gun and hit her while she was still groggy with a leaping knee strike. As soon as he turned around he was met with a stiff chop to the chest by Billy who quickly reinforced his message with two more of those. The Franchise fired Chris in the corner with an Irish whip and followed up with a running back elbow to the face. As soon as he connected, he saw Mel charging at him with a jumping knee to the face. The former MWE World champion followed up with a running bulldog, only to get hit by a Beta Finale to the back of the head. Chris hooked her leg for a quick cover but Billy broke it up.
- The first three minutes of the match were just insane, and the three just kept that level of intensity going forward. Especially Billy, who truly was a one man wrecking crew tonight. Being the strongest and biggest guy in the bunch certainly helped, but Danielson paired the gifts mother nature gave him with a solid and smart performance. He was handling both his competitors and made it look easy, planting Sanderson on the canvas with a spinebuster and suplexing Melissa on top of him, getting a count of two. The Franchise stayed on the attack, striking away at Chris until Melissa took him down with a chop block. A brief, temporary alliance was formed between the former lovers as Chris kicked Billy on the chest while Mel did the same to the back. Sanderson tried to catch Reeves off guard and attacked her immediately after with a bicycle knee strike but she saw it coming and sidestepped, positioning herself behind Chris. She then shoved him into the ropes and caught him on the rebound with a bridging German suplex for another near fall.
- For Reeves, this wasn’t just about earning a World title shot. It was a chance to earn another shot at Julian Savell (assuming he’d walk out of the main event still with the World Title around his waist). an opportunity to take down, or at least strike a blow, at The Division. That was her extra motivation for the night, what was pushing her to take control of the match despite the size disadvantage. She focused mostly on Sanderson, keeping Billy out of the equation and out of the ring. Her kicks, swift and precise, left Sanderson no room to breathe, not even when he tried to catch a break by sticking his torso through the ropes after Mel forced him back against the ropes. She hit him with a jumping knee to the face that caused him to fall backward, leaving him dangling on the ropes. Danielson saw that and picked him up for an inverted suplex, driving him hard on the floor.
- In a classic battle of speed versus strength, Melissa and Billy brought the fans on their feet with an intense sequence. Mel’s floatover DDT almost gave her the win and left Danielson dazed. The Australian wasted no time and caught him with the Facial Deconstructor but not even that could keep down The Franchise. Despite the understandable disappointment for failing to put Billy down for good, Mel didn’t let the frustration creep in. Instead, she was even more determined to capitalize on this window of opportunity, trying to strike him down with her Magnitude Nine, but Danielson ducked under the blow. He crawled between her legs and picked her up on his shoulders. From that position, he drove her down with an electric chair driver, getting a count of two and changing the momentum of the match.
- It was now Mel’s time to prove her resilience, kicking out from some of Billy’s best moves such as the Imperium and the inevitable Chicago Blackout. If desperate times call for desperate measures, big matches call for the Big Match Driver. He set the Reaver up for his crucifix piledriver, planting her on the head. That was it, there was no way the former MWE champion could kick out from that. And in fact she didn’t, but Chris Sanderson broke up the pin at the last second, saving Mel and keeping his dream to become a three time MWE World champion alive.
- Reeves was still out from the Big Match Driver, leaving the two males to fight it out. Chris was well rested after the extended break he took on the outside and he managed to get the best of his opponent, connecting him with the Hit By A Cyclone (fireman’s carry into a Pele kick). It wasn’t enough to keep Billy down, and neither was getting Hit By A Thunderstorm (fireman’s carry into a roundhouse kick). Sanderson kept attacking him, catching him From Nowhere (rebound handspring ace crusher). Danielson had that one scouted and managed to catch the young veteran in mid air dropping him onto his knee with an inverted atomic drop, followed by a running lariat to the back of the head that turned Chris inside out. By that time, Mel had quietly gotten back to her feet behind the unaware Billy’s back. She grabbed him by the arm and turned him around, blasting him with the Magnitude Nine (black mass), knocking the Chicago native down. Chris wrapped his arm around Mel’s waist and suplexed her into the corner before making the cover on Billy and “stealing” the win, capitalizing on Reeves’ hard work.

Hahahahahahaha…
A menacing laugh could be heard amongst a cloud of smoke and a dark backdrop. Suddenly, Julian Savell walked into the frame of the camera, a suit and tie on, along with his patented mask and the MWE World Championship on his shoulder.
Julian Savell: Oh Tiff. The girl of many names. Tiffany Halliwell? Tiffany Hudson? Tiffany Tomkins? Tiffany Rollins? Is that the one we settled on? The one at the end? Or are you just Tiff?
The creator of The Division laughed lightly before continuing on.
Julian Savell: The little lost girl thinks that she is going to walk into that main event tonight and take this from me. From THE DIVISION!!!
Julian held up the MWE World Championship in the air as yelled.
Julian Savell: You aren’t taking shit from us, lost little girl. Why? Because you aren’t good enough. Because I see you for who you truly are. You are someone that hates yourself. No matter how much someone hates you, someone like my sister, Faith, who hates the hell out of you… Nobody will hate you more than yourself. Nobody will look down on you more than yourself.
Julian leaned back slightly and cackled maniacally. After a few moments, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
Julian Savell: You might be wondering to yourself, ‘how can Julian see this about me?’ It’s simply, little one. It’s because I was just like you. Someone who hated to look at themself in the mirror. Someone who hated himself more than anyone else did, and trust me, I’m much more hated than you could ever be. But now? I’ve found a purpose. I’ve found a family.
Julian slowly took the mask off of his face and looked at it as he continued to speak.
Julian Savell: Many people thought I started to wear this thing because of what Iser did to my face but it was quite the opposite. I did it because I didn’t want to look at myself anymore.
Julian dropped the mask onto the ground and in an instant, he stomped on it with all of his might, causing the mask to shatter into several pieces.
Julian Savell: I don’t need to hide behind that anymore. Unlike you, Tiff, I have something that I am fighting for. I have people that I am fighting for. But you? You fight to forget the pain, even if it’s for a small moment, you fight for that, and that’s why you will never beat me. Because you’re not here for the right reasons. You are here for your own selfish ego. Because you think that maybe, just maybe if you reach the pinnacle of this sport? That you’ll be able to rest on your throne and no longer be the sorry, sack of shit that you are.
Julian scoffed before he glared menacingly into the camera.
Julian Savell: How many people have you ran through that have tried to support you? How many people shared their name with you? Their lives? Their families? How many boyfriends and girlfriends have you thought were the one before walking away from them? How many people are you going to use for support until there’s nothing left? Because despite all of the support you have been given, despite how many people have cheered you on? You still act like a sad, depressed thirteen year old girl. Do you think that is worthy of being the Millennium World Champion? Do you truly believe that you can handle the responsibility of carrying this mantle?
Julian waved his index finger as he shook his head.
Julian Savell: You can’t. You would be just like many of the champions before me. A flash in the pan. Someone who became crippled under the bright lights and took their ball and went home. That has always been the problem with World Champions here, they win it, fall off and bail. But that won’t happen with me. No, no, no. Despite all of you wanting me gone from here? I’m here to stay. The Division is here to stay. And our reckoning on the wrestling climate will be one felt for decades upon decades. We are the truth, we are the light… We are the ones who will divide and conquer the filth murking up this industry. Filth like you, Tiffany Rollins.
Julian took the MWE World Championship and held it toward the camera.
Julian Savell: If you somehow manage to take this away from me? Nothing will change for you. You will still be the sad little girl that showed up at HKW RISE many, many years ago. You will forever be lost and do you want to know why? Because you don’t want to be found. Want to know why?
Julian paused and grinned.
Julian Savell: Because you are always meant to be an unwanted orphan…
Bitch.
A devilish smirk crossed over Savell’s face.
Julian Savell: See you out there, little one.
Savell walked out of the frame and the scene cut away.
MWE World Championship Match
Julian Savell © VS Tiff
- Tension was visible on Tiff’s face. This was the Death Kicker’s second consecutive PPV main event, a second chance at the MWE World championship after the first, hard earned one was ruined by Julian and The Division. A lot was going through the former Cloud Gate champion’s mind. Of course the biggest concern was going through the same experience as On Thin Ice, with the champion’s partners in crime possibly attacking her mid match and ruining another main event. But even without the Division’s meddling, Julian Savell remained one of the best and most dangerous wrestlers in the industry, and many people argued that Tiff was not quite on that level yet: Sure, she proved time and time again throughout her career that no obstacle is too big for her to overcome, but the pressure tonight might be too much to handle. Julian, on the other hand, seemed pretty confident during the entrance, fully embracing his villain role and mocking the booing fans. That smirk plastered on his face was particularly disturbing, suggesting that he had a backup plan in case things went south. But did he really? Or was it just what he wanted Tiff to believe, just another mind game to convince the young wrestler that she didn’t stand a chance?
- The title was raised high in the air, the main event was finally under way. Julian lunged in and tried to lock up with Tiffany, but that didn’t go anywhere as Rollins slipped away from his grasp and kicked him behind the leg. His attempt to outpower the blonde may not have worked, but Savell didn’t stop trying. The second time he was able to catch Rollins and force her back into the ropes where, after faking a clean break, he hit her with a forearm strike to the face. He then sent her into the ropes with an Irish whip and jumped over her head with a leapfrog, quickly turning around to catch her on the rebound with a flapjack. He didn’t waste a second and went for his Golden Kick right away, but Tiff barely dodged the punt kick, countering it with a schoolboy pin that gave her a count of two.
- Savell was not what you would call a powerhouse, but given the height and weight advantage he had on his opponent, he dabbled a bit with some big moves. For example, he powerbombed her into the turnbuckle and followed with a running clothesline. He then stepped on the middle rope and started raining down punches to her face up to a total of seven. Then Rollins slipped between his legs and kicked the middle rope, causing him to lose balance and fall face first onto the top turnbuckle. Tiff jumped on his back and pulled him down onto her knees for a backstabber, hooking the leg for a cover and only getting a two count out of it.
- When it comes to Tiff Rollins, fans and opponents know exactly what to expect. Kicks, lots of them. No fancy combinations, nothing over the top or some acrobatic martial arts variations. Simple, swift and stiff kicks. But the fact that her offense was pretty basic and somehow predictable, it didn’t mean they were easy to counter. Julian surely had them scouted and he most likely trained against them, maybe even asking his sister Faith for some advice, due to her extensive experience against the Death Kicker. But the Five Footer’s attacks seemed to always find the target, and Savell found himself on the backfoot. Truth was, Rollins was bringing an intensity the World champion wasn’t expecting, showing once again that not only she wasn’t one to crumble under pressure but, quite the contrary, those situations were where Tiff really thrived. Eventually she knocked Savell down with a leaping knee, that Peacemaker made famous by his uncle Andreas Lasiewicz. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to capitalize as Julian was quick to roll out of the ring, but the champ was in deep waters. And Tiff and the fans knew it.
- The O2 Arena was a bedlam. The fans were louder than ever, obviously cheering for the blonde prodigy wanting to see her dethrone the self proclaimed Savior of wrestling. The undying and unconditioned support of the English fans pushed Tiff to take risks she normally wouldn’t take, such as attacking Julian while he was out of the ring with a suicide dive. And it was a good thing it did, because the payoff was great. The move, although it wasn’t one the Little Hoss was familiar with, connected perfectly, pushing Savell back against the barricade. A loud roar followed the impact, “woooooos” echoed the impact of Tiff’s chops to the champion’s chest firing up the challenger even further. She sent Julian into the steel post with an Irish whip, fully exploiting the ten count to do some damage to Savell before rolling him back inside the ring. She climbed on the apron and for a moment pondered entering the ring, but she quickly changed her mind and climbed the turnbuckle instead. Her confidence was high enough to attempt the Thrillkiller (swanton bomb) to bring home her first World Title. Maybe it was a slight hesitation, maybe Julian had always been one step ahead of her and was just playing possum but as Tiff jumped from the post, he rolled out of the way, watching her crash and burn on the floor. He was quickly back on his feet and ready to deliver the Golden God Kick, turning off the lights for Rollins. He dropped down on top of her, smiling at the camera as the ref got in position and counted. One, two, thre…… NO! Tiffany raised her shoulder at the last second, keeping hers, and the fans’, hopes alive.
- Julian was pissed off. He didn't expect to see his opponent kicking out from his best move, but he looked determined to make her pay. It started with some vicious stomps to the chest and head, then he crouched down on her and started to punch her head while shouting at her to stay down. Another cover attempt, another count of two. This time Savell went at the referee, accusing him of being too slow in his count. Rollins was starting to get up and Savell immediately turned his focus on her, delivering another volley of kicks building up to a sitout inverted suplex slam. And guess what? Tiff kicked out once again. For every failed pinfall attempt, the fans turned their volume up a notch, hoping that their support would help the former Cloud Gate champion getting through this difficult moment and make another miracle happen, like she did so many times in the past.
- And well, it worked. Tiff started getting up to her feet, unfazed by Julian’s relentless strikes. He hit her with a couple of stiff forearm strikes to the face, but she shook them off and fired back with some punches to the ribs. Punch after punch, kick after kick, the challenger managed to turn the tide and even got close to the win with the swinging ddt, but this time it was Savell who popped his shoulder up at the very last second. Tiff stayed on the attack, seeing the goal closer and closer as times passed and Julian’s struggle became more and more evident. Julian tried to take back control with a German suplex but Tiff landed on her feet and knocked him down to size with a kick to the knee. The anticipation was killing the fans, time seemed to have frozen as the young girl took a step back and measured the opponent up before she fired off. Her foot caught Savell square in the face, the force behind the Death Kick knocking the World champion flat on his back, a blank expression on his face. She had done it, Tiff Rollins had beat Julian Savell to claim her first World title here in London. The capacity crowd counted along with the referee as the blonde made the cover, but their cry of joy got stuck in their throat as Julian reached for the bottom rope with his hand, saving himself and his title reign.
- If only she had taken a moment to pull him back to the center of the ring, if only she made the cover faster… The disappointment was visible on Tiff’s face, even the mood of the fans seemed to have changed. Some of them still had their hands over their heads in shock, others wondered if it really happened, the majority were staring at the titantron, looking for confirmation for what they couldn’t believe. Rollins was on her knees in the middle of the ring, mumbling to herself. She glanced at the ref, almost begging him to change his decision but unfortunately for her, he had made the right call. Tiff went back to work but she looked dejected, lacking that strength and conviction that allowed her to come inches away from beating Julian Savell. Demoralization and tiredness were a very dangerous combination for the challenger but she wasn’t one to give up. She tried to overcome even this last obstacle, for herself, for her sister who sacrificed her MWE career so that she could have hers back, for the people who always believed in her. And for those who never did, too. For all the haters who enjoyed kicking her while she was at her lowest, for those who made her long way back even more complicated, for those who, still to this day, tell her that she should just give up. With what was probably her last bit of energy, the Death Kicker threw another flurry of kicks at the World champion, sending him back into the corner. She put all of herself into that cannonball, only to crash into the empty corner as Savell moved out of the way. The World champion didn’t waste a second and hit her with another Golden God Kick but he didn’t stop there. Remembering what happened earlier in the match, he wasn’t taking any chances and doubled down with the Savell Splash. And this time, it was for the three count.
