Riot in England
(A.k.a. Kim's Super Fantastic Riot Spectacular)
Live from M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England
Sunday, March 5th, 2023
The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…
"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"
The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. A throne is carried out onto the stage by several stagehands and then another stagehand leads a pony out onto the stage. The Queen of the Death Match claps with delight as she marches her way over towards her throne and sits down. She is handed a microphone.
Kimberly Williams:
Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the first…and probably last…ever KIM’S SUPER FANTASTIC RIOT SPECTACULAR!
The fans roar with loud cheers.
Kimberly Williams:
Tonight is an exercise in chaos. See, people in suits make tons of rules in this game but refuse to enforce their own rules. They let certain individuals get away with murder and refuse to do anything about it. If you are going to let people get away with breaking every rule under the sun, then why have rules in the first place? The suits try to hide behind statements like “well, the referee’s decision is final”. Bullshit. If the freaking NFL can have instant replay, why can’t we run the tape back and see the injustices done and fix it? See, therein lies another problem. Sometimes MWE does that, sometimes they don’t. They just pick and choose when and where they want justice. It just makes no sense to me.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams:
That’s why tonight, the few rules I have crafted are in place mostly to fuck with people who have been getting away with murder in this company for far too long. If only for one night, they can see what it is like to get screwed over. Everyone else will get a taste of chaos. Everyone else gets to see what it is like when chaos, TRUE FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY, gets the run of the show. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the fun!
We cut backstage where we find Angelica Jones standing near the ready area in her wrestling gear. A smirk is on her face.
Angelica Jones:
I wasn’t booked. I’m not that surprised, Kim may be nuts but she is my daughter and I am not shocked that she didn’t put me in one of her crazy death matches tonight. I could have sat back and take the evening off. I could have just watched this all on a monitor backstage. Or I could have watched from my hotel room. Hell, I could be back in Boston right now preparing for things to come. God knows I have huge plans for myself not just here but in Global Championship Wrestling. But one thing I have learned from my time in this business is to never look a gift horse in the mouth.
Jones points towards the entrance.
Angelica Jones:
And I believe I saw my daughter with a pony…so since there is a hardcore gauntlet match to determine who gets the next shot at the Chicago Way Title, I figured why not throw my hat into the ring?
Jones smirks knowingly.
Angelica Jones:
Kim isn’t the only violent person in the family. Early on in my career I was the Extreme Champion in Motor City Wrestling. So can I hang in there with the hardcore environment? Damn right I can. So get ready, The Dragon is going to enter this mayhem and try to earn her way to a championship match.
The sound of her music hitting the airwaves is what welcomed the fans of Riot back to their TV screens, both confident and poised the young Indian woman marched out with the Chicago Way Championship gleaming on her shoulder as she slowly unfastened the belt from her waist and lifted it up to the sky with massive applause before she let it rest on her shoulder and marched her way to the ring. She grabbed a microphone from the ring announcer and took a few moments to soak in the audiences reaction, taking her time to take it all in before she began to speak.
Ahalya Patel:
Alright, alright you bunch of hooligans sinner the fuck down.
There was a mixture of cheers and boos as she let out a laugh.
Ahalya Patel:
Tonight’s a little different for your favorite Indian Queen, tonight there is a chance that everybody in that fucking locker room could come for me and try their chance at winning this belt, while it’s a unique perspective to determine number one contenders, I have to say I aint too happy about it.
She walked around slowly now taking the crowd in once more before taking a rest on the corner leaning up against the top turnbuckle.
Ahalya Patel:
If I didn’t know any better I’d say someone in the office likes to give Kim a little bit of power that she seems to want to enforce over me, first as a referee and now as a booker. I get it. She had this happen to her during her reign so she wants to test me and see if I can do the same. I like Kim truly she’s for moxie and there are a few people who could follow by her example of creative and innovative ways, but bitch I wasn’t born yesterday nor did I just climb into a wrestling ring last week. I’ve been a champion in every company I’ve ever wrestled for and can count matches I’ve lost in ten years on two hands, that’s less than one match a year if you need me to do the math for you, not to mention I’m holding not just the Chicago Way Championship but the Can-Am Championship in Liberty Pro as well, if I haven’t proven myself enough to you by now then bitch I’m not trying to. Unless you want me to choke your ass out off a ladder again then I got you, just let me know when you are ready to step the fuck up.
The fans seemed not too sure on how to take her candid speech and certainly couldn’t match the verbiage and vernacular to her Indian origin, clearly having lived and embraced the American environment for some time. She took a moment to climb the turnbuckle and take a seat, crossing her legs and placing her belt on her lap as she did so, her posture resonating a queen like pose.
Ahalya Patel:
Nevertheless, I can’t be mad at her, I know the chick had a certain respect for these types of matches and I’m simply proving tonight that it don’t matter who the fuck comes out here maybe we won’t have a new number one contender at all, cause just maybe not one of you mugs is going to pin me, but what fun would that be? This is supposed to be some kind of power play huh? Well maybe I’ll just use it to my advantage in choosing just who I let be my next opponent. Cause keeping this good is a number one priority for me. You will never and I mean ever think you’re going to keep me down with some bullshit vibes cause honey I rise, now start the god damn gauntlet!
As she said this she tossed the microphone down rather abruptly causing a loud irritating screech to emit from it as she held up her title belt in the air ready for whoever wanted make their way to the ring.
30 Minutes Hardcore Gauntlet Match Match
Whoever pins Ahalya gets a shot at the Chicago Way championship at the next PPV
Ahalya Patel VS Whoever Wants InWhoever pins Ahalya gets a shot at the Chicago Way championship at the next PPV
The Chicago Way champion on Riot is not something you see every day, as their title is a Millennium exclusive, or at least it's supposed to be. But with Kimi in charge, anything can happen and truth being told, this might even be the less unusual thing you'll see tonight. For thirty minutes Ahalya Patel will be in the ring, taking on whoever feels brave enough to challenge her in a hardcore match in order to earn a shot at her title. The London fans knew they were in for a treat, but they never expected to see Javen entering the ring. The Hall Of Famer officially retired, but that itch to get back in the ring never really left him. Patel welcomed him swinging the Indian Club, but the former Tag champion ducked the blow and jumped on the middle rope, bouncing back with a springboard elbow. Years go by but Javen was still in greaat shape, holding his own against the Chicago Way champion, surviving her attacks including a spider suplex. The Tennessee native went old school with a steel chair and knocked champion down. He was going for a pin, but the roar of the crowd halted him. They asked him to get the ladder and he didn't want to disappoint. From the top, he flew down on Ahalya with his trademark swanton bomb but the Indian Goddess moved out of the way and watched him crash and burn. Using her trusted scarf, she tried to choke Javen out, and eventually forced him to tap out. Javen might not have been successful in his attempt, but after battling the champion for almost ten of the thirty minutes, he left her pretty worn out for whoever came next. Till Schlotterbeck walked down to the ring chugging a pint of beer to the delight of the fans. He raised the glass in the air and a number of fans imitated him, shouting out PROST! in unison. He left the empty glass in the corner and entered the ring, going at Ahalya with wild punches. There was nothing pretty about their brawl, two fierce competitors throwing everything they had at each other. The German began hitting the champion with a flurry of headbutts, at the end of which he looked just as dazed as Ahalya. Schlotterbeck left the ring looking for a weapon, but then decided to listen to the fans, who were asking him with a loud to grab the pint. He entered the ring just as Patel got back to her feet and smacked her head with the glass pint, shattering it across her skull. The champ was down, bleeding from the forehead. Till pinned her for the three and earned himself the ticket to the title match. We were halfway through the match, and things weren't looking good for the champion. The third entrant in the gauntlet was an a competitor with years of experience and the will to wear gold around her waist one more time. Angelica Jones ran to the ring and took full advantage of the already dazed champion to quickly pin her after the Hot Shot (pedigree), obtaining a shot at the Chicago Way championship. Fourth entrant in the gauntlet was Darcy Graves, and she came prepared with a steel chain wrapped around her fist. She immediately swung for the champ's head but Ahalya dodged the blow and took her down with a sweep kick. After a few stomps, Patel ripped the steel chain from around Graves' fist and used it to punish her. She flogged the challenger with it, leaviing red bruises on her abdomen area and the exposed skin on her back. Eventually she dropped the weapon, tossing it aside and waiting for her to get up. Another En Femina put an end to this stage of the gauntlet. With a little over ten minutes to go, Patel was truly starting to feel the fatigue from the very demanding match she was in. She managed to ward off two threats and, unfortunately for her, earning two contenders as well. The fifth name to join the gauntlet was Crystal Caldwell, looking to earn herself a title match at Anarchy In The UK. But her enthusiasm was no help as Patel made quick work of her and finished her off with an elevated DDT onto a chair. Matches like this always come with some sort of surprise and this one was no exception. The sixth entrant was none other than GCW's own Brittany Lohan. The powerhouse easily got the best of the worn out opponent, using her strength to perform moves like the sideslam backbreaker and the Alabama slam. Ahalya created some separation with an eye rake and quickly grabbed a chair from the floor and smacked it across her head, but it wasn't enough to keep Brittany down. The champion kept goinmg, determined to send the guest opponent back to GCW empty handed. But her plan backfired when Lohan kicked the chair on her face with her patented For Your Eyes Only bicycle kick. This won't be the last time we saw Brittany Lohan in MWE, as she qualified for the Chicago Way championship match at Anarchy In The UK. Five more minutes, most likely one final opponent and Ahalya's toil will finally be over. The final entrant in the gauntlet was another pleasant surprise for the fans, definitely less pleasant for the champion. A formidable opponent stepped up next, although one you wouldn't expect to compete in a hardcore match, The former Riot champion Alex Andrews made her way to the ring, running down the ramp not wanting to waste a second of the little time she had left. Patel took on her head on, trading strikes with the fresh opponent. She managed to duck a right hand and take Alex down with a backbreaker, switching to a more static offense. She decided to put Andrews into a series to submissions and let the clock run down, hoping to make it to the thirty minutes time limit without adding another opponent to her already crowded future title defense. But Alex was very well versed in the technical aspect and managed to wiggle free. It was quite easy for her to turn the tide, but the champion refused to stay down and kicked out from the Alex Crusher, the Elysium and the Queen's End. The clock was ticking, now Alex only had one minute left to pin the champion who wisely rolled out of the ring. Andrews went to grab her but she was it with a kendo stick shot from Patel that doubled her over. Nobody could blame Ahalya for trying to stay away from Alex, but they still enjoyed it when Andrews eventually grabbed her arm and pulled her into a lariat. A quick glance to the clock and she opted to drop Ahalya on her head with the Hella Rough on the floor and then push her back in the ring. She rushed in and made the cover, obtaining the three count with only five spare seconds left. WINNER: Till Schlotterbeck, Angelica Jones, Brittany Lohan, Alex Andrews BY: Pinfall On The Champion, 30:00 |
Backstage we find Summer Collins and her best friend and tag team partner “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz. Jessica is seated on a bench, almost as if she is trying to get herself in the right frame of mind for the brutality that is to come in barbed wire massacre. Summer is pacing the floor, obviously not looking forward to this at all. Another interesting note, the Fabulous ladies are not decked out in their Cheerleader uniforms tonight. Considering the blood that will no doubt be spilled, they are wearing more practical wrestling attire for the occasion.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
Przestań biec. Przeszkadzasz mi.
Summer stops dead in her tracks upon hearing Lasiewicz speak to her in Polish. She doesn’t understand a word of it but she does recognize that when Jessie speaks her native tongue, she is usually angry, extremely intense, or both.
Summer Collins:
Huh?
Jessica Lasiewicz:
What’s wrong?
Summer Collins:
It’s just this match. Don’t get me wrong, I am thrilled that we are getting another tag team title shot. I am grateful for your sister giving this opportunity. But…
Lasiewicz rolls her eyes.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
I knew there was a “but” coming.
Summer Collins:
Why do we have to go through six other teams to become champions?
Jessica Lasiewicz:
Try to see it from Kimberly’s perspective. She may seem unhinged but her logic is always sound no matter what people may think. You just need to learn how to think like her. And if you think about it, why should we get another one on one match against the champions when we have already failed to beat them? PCP has earned a victory over them. Sutter is coming off of a record setting Riot TItle reign. I could go on and on about the other teams if you want me to.
Collins shakes her head.
Summer Collins:
Not necessary. I get your point, we haven’t earned a one on one shot. Still, why in this environment? Why in Barbed Wire Massacre?
Jessica Lasiewicz:
That’s just Kim’s demented mind.
Summer Collins:
Speaking of Kim, I watched the replay of Millennium and I heard what she spoke to you about. I know what she means when she is referring to Vengeance. No one else in the locker room may get it, but I do because I know you. Is there anything you would like to say, Jess?
The Archangel stands up and smirks.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
You know me, Summer. When I commit myself to something I am all in. I never divert my attention or focus to anything else. If Kim needs help then yes, I will help her because she is my sister. But understand this, you and I are special. You and I are still the hottest tag team in the business today. And we may be scarred up, bloodied, and beaten by the time this night is over, but we will be scarred up, bloodied, beaten, and the NEW MWE World Tag Team Champions.
She places a hand on Summer’s shoulder.
Jessica Lasiewicz:
I am one hundred percent focused and committed to this, to us, and we are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!
Summer Collins:
That’s what I needed to hear. Now let’s go and win those titles.
Gallifrey Rules Match
Don't ask...
Anna Daniels VS DalekDon't ask...
For days people have been wondering what the hell the Gallifrey Rules may be, and finally that question would find an answer. A Dome was lowered on the two competitors with a number of weapons hanging from the walls. From what the ring announcer said, the only way to win the match is to incapacitate the opponent, which might be a bit complicated when you're fighting a Dalek. Anna didn't seem too bothered, taking on the metallic opponent with a volley of kicks, soon realizing that it may not be the best strategy. For its part, the Dalek came prepared to exterminarte the Time Lord, even without the extra tools hanging from the walls of the dome. It had its ever-present chili juice which Daniels had scouted and managed to duck and some kind of ball he shot from his body that hit Anna in the stomach, doubling her over. As the Muse tried to catch her breath, The Dalek charged and knocked her back into the corner, where it kept ramming into her squashing with its bodyweight. The Time Lord shoowed great resilience and pain tolerance, as well as a remarkable creativity when it comes to dismantle a Dalek. She pulled down a long chain from the dome's wall, finding out that it barely scratched the Dalek's armor. She quickly found another use for it, tying up the pesky tin can to the structure. Despite being immobilized, it still managed to do some offense, tasing Daniels. After recoverig from the electric shock, the Time Lord was done messing around. She retrieved the Eharjajil, her patented silver sledgehammer and started bashing Dalek with it with such violence and anger that she cracked his "head" open. All those lights that always blink on the Dalek's body instantly shut off. The Genocidal Tin From Outer Space was gone, its treat finally eliminated. WINNER: Anna Daniels BY: Total Destruction (Eharjajil shot), 16:17 |
We open in the boiler room area where it is dimly lit. Sound echoes everywhere, especially the sounds of footsteps that seem to come from everywhere. It isn’t long until those footsteps seem to come closer and closer. Eventually we spot Clyde Sutter stepping into the scene from the right. He is dressed in black dress pants, black shoes, and a white silk button up shirt. A stoic, cold gaze is etched across his chiseled features.
Clyde Sutter:
A wise man once said, where one door closes, another door opens. That being said I would like to congratulate Mr. Raynes on ending my historic run as Riot Champion. You ended it at 239 days…239 days of complete and utter dominance of the Riot Brand. I took the former record for longest reign as Riot Champion, held by Mr. Hearst, and I blew it out of the water. So you can see why I am not bothered in the least by the fact that I lost the Riot Championship. You see, Mr. Raynes, fate has plans for us all and I have accepted that fate has big plans for me. I had already accomplished everything I could do with that Riot Championship. So take that title and defend it proudly. As I said, where one door closes another door opens. And as Machiavelli once said, where there is chaos there is opportunity.
The Assassin chuckles softly.
Clyde Sutter:
This night is the very definition of chaos, as our interim General Manager Ms. Williams so accurately pointed out at the top of the show. And in her infinite wisdom, I have been granted an opportunity to become World Tag Team Champion alongside my client Ms. Page…but as fate would have it, there is a catch…BARBED WIRE MASSACRE!
He smirks.
Clyde Sutter:
How many of the other teams in this chaotic match are prepared for barbed wire massacre? How many of the other teams know what kind of brutality to expect in barbed wire massacre? I can honestly say that I am prepared. I know what to expect. And I am NOT afraid of the bloodbath and the carnage that will ensue! I will not balk if I am forced to put someone down in the name of becoming one half of the World Tag Team Champions!
Sutter points a finger at the camera.
Clyde Sutter:
Bad and Boujee. Can you hear it? Do you hear the sound of the doomsday clock ticking down, ticking ever so closer down to the end…the end of your title reign…
Chaos Theory Championship Match
Jacob Figgins © VS Abby Blake VS Ash Fi VS Ashley Bell VS Nina VS Kate SteeleThe new Chaos Theory championship added some unpredictability to rules of its predecessor, the MENTV championship. The title can be defended against multiple opponents, and each one of them counts as a successful defense which means that if Sir Figgles survives this match against five opponents, he will automatically be able to cash it in for a shot at the Riot championship. His daughter Aislinn didn0t even wait for the bell to ring to attack him and get revenge for what happened at On Thin Ice. Abby targeted the Perfect Ten while Nina and Kate locked up and began to trade holds. Sir Figgles was aware that while this was a huge opportunity for him, at the same time it hid some pitfalls, and he could lose everything without even being involed in the final pin. That danger almost became reality when Nina took Kate down with The Fang and immediately put her into the excruciating Fight Lab Calf Crusher. Hearing Steele screaming, he got rid of his daughter with a headbutt and delivered a massive kick to Nina's head, breaking up the submission. As expected, the match was pretty chaotic and fast paced, and in this situation Abby Blake seemed to thrive. She took down Nina with the 720 headscissors, planted Belle on her face with the wheelbarrow spacebuster, took her enforcer Policy down with a dive to the oiutside and obliterated the champion with a diving missile dropkick. She then saw Kate limping, still feeling the effects of Nina's submissions, and knocked her down with a dropkick to the knee. Without wasting any time, she grabbed her by the foot and applied the Giant Slayer, looking to submit the former Lockdown champion. Aislinn saved the match and Kate as she hit Abby with the Warp Spasm. The fifteen minutes were running out, but still there was no end in sight. A lot of near falls and false finals kept the fans on the edge of their seats and their moods swinging depending on who came close to the win. They sighed in relief as Nina kicked out from Ashley's The Bell Tolls and expressed their disappoitment when Steele saved the blonde from the former intern's Snakebite. There was only one minute left now, and Jacob Figgins was alone in the ring with Ash for the ultimate father/daughter standoff. He had no qualms breaking some rules to "teach her a lesson" or simply put, to retain his title, raking her eyes and hitting her with the Moonshine Delirium (full nelson lifted into a flatliner). But before he could make the pin, Abby sneaked up behind him and kicked him on the leg, forcing him down to one knee perfectly positioned for the Fore (Natural Selection). Ash was very close to their position but she didn't make it in time to break up the pin. Or maybe, she didn't want to. WINNER: Abby Blake (NEW CHAOS THEORY CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Fore), 14:39 |
The scene opens to a familiar locker room where the lights are dimmed, candles and a sweet aroma seems to surround the environment and the mood seems rather relaxing, before the camera finally spots Qiyara Singh who is sitting in one of her many yoga poses working to get herself into the zone for her upcoming Match, there is a sweet hum to her voice one that hasn’t been there in a very long time.
She smiles even though her eyes are closed as she chants to herself, but it doesn’t take long before she realizes the camera is there. Her facial expression sweet like honey as she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Qiyara Singh:
Hello MWE, I wanted to take a moment and thank each of you for supporting me during my recent mental health debacle. While it is very important to practice self-care there are moments where those feelings can over take us, and alter who it is that we are. I apologize to anyone who has to go through something similar as I can earnestly say without my friends, family, and those closest to me who supported me through it I am uncertain of what might have happened.
She pauses taking a moment to gulp, clearly showcasing a more vulnerable side than what we see when team Adelson-Singh hits the ring.
Qiyara Singh:
I asked Rhett to take a particular moment away so that I could speak to you all candidly about the situation and to express that if there is ever a moment where you feel your mental well-being is under duress, please seek the help that you need whether that be familial or professional, do not be embarrassed or afraid to reach out for help as believe me, finding your clarity is both enticing and a beautiful thing.
Qiyara took a moment to bow the top half of her body that wasn’t seated.
Qiyara Singh:
With that I say namaste my friends.
She went to stand down before gently calling Rhett who comically was stuffing his face with garlic naan bread and whatever food items Qiyara had stuffed into a clear Tupperware dish. Qiyara placed her hands on her hips before laughing out.
Qiyara Singh:
You are so silly.
She said with a shake of the head.
Rhett Adelson:
What?!! I need the protein!
There was a gentle laugh from Qiyara and it was clear that Rhett was enjoying his meal so Qiyara continued speaking.
Qiyara Singh:
It seems Rhetty is still working on his pre-match rituals, and we are very aware of how difficult these types of matches can not fair well for any of the teams involved. However, we can’t deny that even though we’ve had the opportunity to hold the belts ourselves that we would love to once again be the top team in the company and give you the reign that you deserve from us. We obviously know there is work to be done and there are several teams who have showcased their talents. The current champions in Bad and Boujee are a clear example of that but Rhett and I, Team Adelson-Singh we are ready to once again show why our chemistry is unmatched.
There was a moment where Rhett paused between bites.
Rhett Adelson:
Yeah!! There is no one in this company that has the ability to move like we do and the fact that every team is out there tonight will just show you why Yara and I are the best. We had our rough patch, we’ve had our struggles, but we are in this together! We will show all of the teams in this match that they can never discount us again and that’s a fact!
Rhett went back to his food as Yara let out a big hefty grin before she wrapped a one-arm hug around his waist and she gave a smile.
Qiyara Singh:
That’s all you need to know, as always, we’ll see you out there
There was a vibrant wink given as Yara turned to the side thinking the Camera May have already cut away when she mumbles.
Qiyara Singh:
Did you really eat all my naan?
A playful scoff could be heard follow by a light playful smack as she laughed and shook her head leaving the camera to fade away.
There is a vibrant glow that comes to life as the cameras take us to a night club environment where we find A very well dressed Haylie LaFluer who is accompanied by a well dressed solider man, Rhys Adelson stands tall in a well pressed suit and he looks to Haylie with a smile on his face.
Rhys Adelson:
Going to go and arrange our seats, I’ll be right back.
Haylie LaFleur:
Alrighty, I’ll be here. Just going to freshen up.
She mentioned pulling a compact mirror from her handbag as Rhys scurried off and Haylie let out a little laugh. Lowering her mirror to look directly to whoever is filming the scene. Her eyes gauging each of the viewers at home as if she saw them all directly.
Haylie LaFluer:
I see you there, sillies and believe me it’s alright. I know I’ve been away from the Millennium ring for a week or two, but after the debacle with Paula Parker, mentally we needed a break.
Haylie offered a light shrug before she continued.
Haylie LaFleur:
The truth of the entire matter is that I actually do respect Paula and would love to see her truly cement herself as the prodigy she claims to be, but like any insecure teen, Paula has a crutch she believes she needs. It isn’t my place to tell her how to live nor is it my place to continue attempting the kind of matches I want to achieve and thus, I decided to end things at #OnThinIce when her brothers decided they needed to involve themselves in our contest. Does she want to count it as a win? Of course she does and she can, personally I am happy she was able to once again discount herself from something she could have truly earned. Nevertheless, I chose to stand on my own morals and leave the match, she’s the winner on paper, I’m the winner in life. We both are happy.
Haylie offered a quick chuckle before she continued.
Haylie LaFleur
Enough of that however, she won’t mention me any longer and I won’t mention her . . . Until we possibly meet again someday, so you may wonder what comes next for Haylie LaFluer. Only a few matches into her MWE career and already it seems unclear of where she goes next and that is perfectly fine by me, my return to wrestling wasn’t to hold all the gold or to be some hot shot, I’ve already done that. You may think that my genuine demeanor of kindness is simply naivety but I have spent my time being the most competitive, now I simply want to go to the ring and simply put on the best show I can. To wrestle in exciting matches and give you exactly the type of show that you deserve each and every time I am there. Will there be shenanigans?? Of course! Will there be direct precision and calculation? Well that’s always been in the formula.
There was a light wink given before she continued to speak.
Haylie LaFluer: You’ve only just begun to see what it is I can do, but for now my LaFluerians you’ll just have to wait.
Before she could finish what she was saying Rhys once again reappeared crossing his arms and looking confused.
Rhys Adelson: “Babe? Who in the hell are you talking too?”
Haylie giggled looking to the audience once more.
Haylie LaFleur: “Shhhh!“
She said laughing again as she gave another wink before looking back to him.
Rhys Adelson: “oh no one. Just hyping up our little viewing party tonight. Are our seats ready?”
She asked though Rhys still looked dubious before shaking his head and staring around to see if he saw anyone there. For a military man and SABER employee you could tell his inability to track something left him with unease as Haylie nodded approaching him and waving off.
As the two disappeared inside; the camera now turned showcasing a little camera tucked inside a well hidden rock in a larger set of foliage just outside the night clubs entrance. Music being heard faintly in the backdrop before a hand reached to grab hold of it and retrieve it from the scene as it closes off.
Street Fight Match
If anyone helps Karen, she will be banned from receiving title shots for a year
Karen Eldon VS TiffIf anyone helps Karen, she will be banned from receiving title shots for a year
Tiff looked calm and serene as she walked to the ring, knowing that she would soon get her hands on Karen, and for once without Olly or Rainer interfering to help her. And the fact that anything goes, bar of course external help for her opponent, in a street fight definitely played in the Red Line winner, more so considering she likely got some advice from her mother, Brytain Rollins. If nobody was going to help her, Karen thought she could help herself, attacking Tiff from behind with a purse shot to the back of the head and making a quick cover, only getting a two count out of it. That gave the former two time Tag champion the early advantage, which she exploited almost perfectly by wearing down the Death Kicker and even making her bleed after driving her head into the exposed turnbuckle several times. But she never managed to close the deal, and it inevitably opened up to Tiff's comeback. The former Cloud Gate champion made the best of the stipulation, taking the fight outside the ring and among the English fans. They battled in the stands and the fans loved being so close to the action, especially when Tiff pushed Karen down the stairs. They watched Eldon tumble all the way down and mocked her for this fall from grace. But Tiff was far from done, watching the opponent from the top of the stairs. As soon as Karen began to stand up, helping herself with the barricade, she ran down and jumped, hitting Eldon on the back of the head with the Peacemaker. The two kept going, Karen desperately fighting to attempt a final comeback by any means, pulling out a can of pepper spray from her purse and blinding the opponent with it. She took advantage of the situation and charged toward Tiff, looking to put her down with the Can I Speak To Your Manager? running knee. But even though she couldn't see her, Rollins felt her coming and was quick to grab a chair from the floor and toss her at the oncoming opponent, catching her right on the face and stopping her on her tracks. Through teary and red irritated eyes, she then blasted Karen with the Death Kick, picking up the win. WINNER: Tiff BY: Pinfall (Death Kick), 12:08 |
Backstage we see former Intercontinental and Lockdown champion Matt Stone looking over a display backstage of barbed wire wrapped around various objects as well as just a large roll of it. Matt starts looking at it, gingerly picking up a strand of the wire when he suddenly feels two hands being placed on his shoulders making him jump. He quickly turns around to find his tag team partner, Veronica Sawyer, standing there with an amused expression on her face.
Veronica Sawyer:
Jumpy, much?
Matt Stone:
Am not!
He exclaims, his heartbeat slowly returning to a normal pace.
Matt Stone:
I just don’t think it’s wise to try and give your partner a heart attack before our big title match, not that we’ve been done any favours tonight.
Veronica Sawyer:
Here I thought you had yourself a clean bill of health.
Veronica gives him a small shake of her head before she crosses her arms.
Veronica Sawyer:
Or have you worried yourself into sickness because you’re afraid?
Matt Stone:
Afraid?
He raises an eyebrow, shaking his head.
Matt Stone:
I’m not afraid of anything, trepidation about being exposed to this sort of stuff? Sure, there’s a lot of sick people in this business, you want to talk about sickness, but they aren’t going to get in our way tonight. We’re trained wrestlers, not barbarians, and in a contest of pure skill there wouldn’t be a way for us to lose, but when this…stuff is introduced? Well the human body can only lose so much blood, you know.
Veronica Sawyer:
Thank you, Doctor Matt.
She gives him a smile, clearly mocking him slightly, before the expression on her face changes to one much more serious. She relaxes her arms, reaching out to place a hand on his own.
Veronica Sawyer:
Granted the situation is not ideal, but this is a step towards what we’ve wanted since day one, isn’t it? And are we not a team that rises above every challenge.
Matt Stone:
Thank you Mrs. Rhetorical Question.
He mocks right back, though she does have a point.
Matt Stone:
We are, of course, a team that will rise to the challenge and walk out with those tag titles, that’s just a fact, but I’d still like to be able to say we out-wrestled the champions. Here it’s just a toughest person left challenge or something, just seems less conclusive, I guess.
Veronica Sawyer:
As long as we walk out with the tag team championships, does it really matter?
Veronica raises one eyebrow slightly as a smirk grows.
Veronica Sawyer:
Besides, we already proved that we can out-wrestle the champions.
Matt Stone:
Very true, though I still haven’t fully recovered from being called a doofus.
He rolls his eyes and turns back to the barbed wire in front of him.
Matt Stone:
Have you ever used this stuff before?
Veronica Sawyer:
No, it’s not really my style…
Veronica approaches closer towards the barbed wire as she gently runs her fingertips along some of the strands.
Veronica Sawyer:
I mean, look at my face, I wouldn’t want to ruin a work of art.
Matt Stone:
No, of course not. Our very own Venus de Milo.Thankfully you’re a little more hands on than she is.
He pauses, expecting a laugh but only getting silence.
Matt Stone:
Anyway, it’s going to have to be our style tonight so we can walk out with those titles and prove the naysayers wrong.
Veronica Sawyer:
Well, they were right about one thing…
Matt stares at the “work of art” for a moment.
Matt Stone:
Do tell.
Veronica Sawyer:
I am very cute.
Veronica winks in a playful manner before she turns around, laughing to herself, while Matt simply shakes his head before following his tag team partner.
MWE Tag Team Championship Match
Barbed Wire Massacre Elimination
Barbed Wire Massacre Elimination
Bad & Boujee © VS PCP VS Clyde Sutter & Tiffany Lynn-Page VS Nightfall Rising VS The Mannings VS
Rhett Adelson & Qiyara Singh VS Fabulous
Rhett Adelson & Qiyara Singh VS Fabulous
Barbed wire for ropes and all weapons, from chairs to tables, from ladders to bats were all wrapped in barbed wire. Seven teams entered this guaranteed bloodbath, only one of them will be walking away with the coveted titles. Sutter wasted little time and attacked Qiyara, with his partner focusing on Rhett. Adelson's attention seemed to be divided, as he constantly glanced over to his girlfirend, visibly concerned that she might get injured. Taking advantage of one of these situations, Lynn-Page hit him with a low blow, leaving him in pain as he clutched his jewels. The former Tag champion then left the ring and grabbed two steel chairs, handing one to Clyde and raising the other one in the air, ready to swing it down on Adelson's back. But the young couple had someone watching their backs, their close friends and fellow Nightfall trainees Jay and Donnie came to their rescue. Gallagher dropkicked Sutter from behind and pushed him chest first into the ropes while Keane disarmed Tiffany by kicking the chair away before it connected with Yara's back. Nightfall Rising and Rhett & Qiyara seemed to be working together, or at least they had each other's back. Soon enough, they were the only two teams who didn'thave cuts on their body as this alliance allowed them to fend off the attacks from the other teams. That changed when Megan slid behind Donovan's back and rolled him up with a schoolboy, sending him crashing into the barbed wire ropes. Jay tried to avenge his partner but Pierce hit him square in the face with a loaded punch. Rhett & Qiyara couldn't help their friends as they were busy dealing with the champions and Nightfall Rising was the first time to be eliminated after Megan set up a chair in the middle of the ring and ordered her husband to drop her ex-boyfriend on it with the Know Your Place. Twice. Definitely an overkill as Donnie was out and bleeding copiously after the first one. (Nightfall Rising eliminated). The Assassin may not be known for being a team player, but he was probably the best partner Tiffany could ask for. Ruthless, violent and loyal to a fault to his associate, the Assassin was dominating in the ring with the help of a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire he swung at whoever dared stepping up to him. Matt Stone managed to get it off his hands, but Clyde easily bested him and pushed him into the barbwired ropes with such force that they collapsed under his weight. Stone fell on the floor oustide, getting stuck in a tangle of barbed wire. The edges sunk into his skin in several points, causing him to bleed on the back, chest and arms. Veronica dropped Jessica down with a DDT and rushed toward her partner, carefully starting to disentangle him. The twins looked a bit out of their element tonight. The stipulation left no room for their usual flips and acronbatic stuff, and the deep cut on Annica's midsection was hindering her movements. They still fought with everything they had to retain their titles in what was, without a doubt, the toughest defense they had yet. Once again they proved to be crafty and creative, finding a solution to the greatest problem everyone was having tonight: Clyde Sutter. They used the dangling barbed wire ropes to tie up the man, wrapping it around his leg and keeping him on a leash while they focused on Tiffany, taking her down with their Electric Dreams (Clyde Sutter & Tiffany Lynn-Page eliminated) We were down to five teams, but that situation didn't last long. Soon after Tiffany's elimination, the Mannings had to leave as well. Calling their elimination "controversial" might be a bit of a stretch seeing how there were no disuqalifications in this match, but we bet Megan will have some complaints to make since she got attacked by a savage Leia LeBeau, out for blood for what she did to her fiance, Donovan Keane. The former IC champion got hit with the Jet City Jive to the back of the head and when Pierce went to avenge her, Leia showed off her athleticism performing a split on the outside and punching him in the dick. The Jenny Cage left him on his knees, hands on his crotch. Satisfied with taking a pound of flesh, Leia left the scene. M The PCP duo capitalized on her work and scored the elimination with a modified version of their Planets Align. Unable to use the ropes for the springboard kick, Sawyer stepped on a chair to assist Matt's bridging German suplex. (The Mannings eliminated) Jessica Lasiewicz was a bloody mess. Her face was a red mask, her body carrying several cuts and bruises was a testament of the punishment she had taken. But despite all that, she was still standing, and still fighting. Her Our Lady Peace knocked the chair on Rhett's face, and it would have definitely put him out of commission if Qiyara didn't make the save. The Indian Queen and The Archangel began to trade strikes in the middle of the ring, a rare wrestling sequence in what had quickly become a deathmatch. The fans seemed to love it, all eyes glued on the two women kicking the hell out of each other. The fans almost missed Summer pinning Veronica with a quick cradle. Luckily, the ref didn't miss it and counted to three. (PCP eliminated) We were down to three teams as the match hit the twenty minutes mark The next elimination was just around the corner and boy, it was a shocking one. Rhett's Explosion (running front single leg dropkick) sent Aliyah into the table he set up in the corner. The champion groaned in pain as the table broke under the impact, sinking the barbed wire edges deep in her back. Annica briefly turned her attention to her sister and that slight distraction cost her big time as it allowed Qiyara to hit her with the Singhing Off Qi. As the ref's hand touched the mat for the third time, the entire Arena suddenly turned silent. The champs had fallen, after the Chaos Theory champion the London fans will witness a second title changing hands. (Bad & Boujee eliminated) The match entered its final stretch and the only thing we knew for sure was that a new champion will be crowned. As for which team willl walk out with the gold, that was still up in the air. There was no way anyone could guess which team will prevail, the war they both had been through took a lot of every single one of these competitors. The pace in this last part of the match was, as you could guess, very slow. The four wrestlers barely able to stand and yet digging deep looking to find that last bit of energy to hit the one big move that coulld give their team the win. It could have gone either way, but in the end Jessica was the one finding the opening to drop Rhett on a chair with the Pure Deformation. It was a long and difficult road, but in the end Fabulous did it, becoming two time MWE tag team champions. WINNER: Fabulous (NEW MWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS) BY: Pinfall (Pure Deformation), 25:19 |
As the maera cuts backstage, we find Olly leaning against the wall right outside The Division's locker room. He looks impatient, his eyes glued on the closed door. When it finally swings open and Julian Savell walks out, the former Academy student takes a step toward the MWE World champion.
Olly:
I have an idea to take Duke out of...
Julian places his hand on Olly's shoulder and shake his head.
Julian Savell:
It's ok, Olly. I got this.
The former Academy student raises an eyebrow at tje World champion's confidence.
Olly:
So.. What's the plan?
Julian Savell:
There's no plan.
The champ simply says as he walks past Olly.
Olly:
What do you mean there's no plan? Come on, Julian, this is stupid...
But Savell wasn't listening, continuing his march to the ring.

Duke Andrews & Andrew Raynes & Melissa Reeves VS Julian Savell
Some called this an overdue reckoning, some said it was karma. Some found it unfair, despite their dislike for the current MWE World champion. Even the four competitors involved seemed to have different opinon on this controversial booking. Duke and Andrew were looking forward to get their payback on Julian, whille Melissa looked like she would rather be anywhere but here, only stepping in the ring out of a sense of duty toward the fans. As for Savell instead, he walked what looked a lot like his green mile with his head held high, fearless and proud even if the situation was hopeless. He fought hard and valiantly, taking on the Riot champion and the former World champion at once, punching both of them to the skull until the numbers game eventually caught up on him and the duo launched him against the cage wall. Reeves watched from aside, not taking part in the beatdown yet. She looked uncomfortable, and even though Julian often relied on his goons to outnumber and punish his rivals, thus including herself, she didn't seem keen to stoop on his level and give him a taste of his own medicine. In a way, she helped him by taking him away from the opponents' furious stomps and light up his chest with a series of chops, backing him down to the opposite corner. She then dropped him on his head with a vicious DDT and hooked the leg, looking to end this controversial match quick, but Julian kicked out in two. Duke and Raynes went to join her in the beatdown, but she told them to stay out of the way. Savell took advantage of that tension and hit the Riot champion with a low blow. Before Mel and Duke could react, he bashed their heads together and knocked them down. He focused his attacks mostly on Raynes, slamming his head against the cage repeatedly and grinding his face against the cold steel. But Andrews quickly got up to his feet and lifted Savell in the air, driving him onto his knee for a massive backbreaker. Julian was a crimson mask. Andrews and Raynes weren't holding back, and seemingly enjoyed punishing the World champion. They were in no rush whatsoever, taking their sweet time beating up the founder of The Division while at the same time taunting his partners. Especially Olly, calling his name and asking him to come save his "daddy", well aware that it would cost Julian the title. Reeves seemed to have had enough of this and headed straight to the door, ready to walk out and, by doing so, end the match. Andrew Raynes saw her and grabbed her by the arm, stopping the former World champion and forcing her to turn around as he clearly wasn't done with Julian yet. Tension built between them with Melissa eventually hitting her own partner with the Magnitude Nine and leaving him flat on his back. Duke momentarily stopped kicking Julian to confront Reeves about what just happened, thus giving Savell time to recover. Julian got up and suplexed Andrews straight into the cage, and just like that, he and Mel were the only ones standing. In an incredible turn of events, Julian really had a chance to obtain a shocking and unexpected win. He fought with everything he had left, which unfortunately for him wasn't much. Reeves eventually got the best of him with her Facial Deconstructor, but right as she was about to make the pin, Raynes returned the courtesy from before and knocked her down with the Code Of The Sith. Wrestling's Toughest Out then delivered his own finisher on the World champioin, picking him up and dropping him with the Shattered Glass. Showing great generosity, he then allowed Duke to take his shot as well, finishing Julian off with the Andrews Effect. WINNER: Duke Andrews, Andrew Raynes, Melissa Reeves BY: Pinfall (Andrews Effect), 14:55 |
Once the dust had finally settled and the cage was raised, paramedics finally rushed to the ring. It had been a busy night gor them, the stipulations picked by Kim gave them a lot of extra work. They surrounded Julian and went to check on his conditons after the brutal beatdown but immediately stopped and backed down. The fans went silent, thus allowing the microphone at ringside to pick up a distutbing laughter coming from the World champion.
Slowly, Julian picked himself up with the help of the ropes. Covered in blood, wobbly on his legs, he refused any help and walked out of the ring on his own two legs. laughing maniacally on his slow way backstage.
