Singles Match
Betsy Gallagher VS Darcy Graves
WINNER: Betsy Gallagher BY: Pinfall (Hexcalibur), 8:44 |
We open up backstage to Rylee Robinson standing by with Paula 'The Prodigy' Parker. Paula looks down at her nails as Rylee enthuasiastically begins.
Rylee Robinson:
Good evening everyone, tonight, I've been invited here by the woman standing next to me, undefeated in singles competition here, Paula Parker. Now Paula, I mentioned being undefeated, but surely On Thin Ice's victory over Haylie LaFleur didn't go as planned. Walk me through that if you will.
Paula's mouth dropped open. She was appalled at the question.
Paula Parker:
Didn't go as planned? Listen, Rylee, On Thin Ice went exactly as I planned. I went out to the ring and did what I do best: WIN. At the end of the day, it isn't HOW you generate results, it's the fact that you generate them at all. I was able to maintain the most impressive streak in Millennium by securing victory over the woman who caused the only asterisk size blemish on my record, and now? I'm done with her. So for the rest of this interview, I don't want to hear about Haylie. Are we clear?
Rylee Robinson:
Crystal. Then let's move on. Tonight you're facing someone who was also successful at On Thin Ice, Alan Envy. Not only did he walk away with a win, but Alan is a wrestling legend. This could be your toughest challenge to date and a real threat to end that singles undefeated streak. How are you feeling going into this one?
Paula Parker:
Alan Envy is a legend, you are correct, but wouldn't you know, I lost just a tad bit of respect for him. When our match was announced, I did the right thing, the courteous thing, and I tweeted out that this match should be interesting, and what does Mr. Envy do? He takes to Twitter as well and says 'I have to go to Scotland for this?', brushing me off as if I'm nothing. Well, Alan, trust me, I don't want to be in Scotland either, but this match? It has the potential to be the greatest match you've had in years. You should be thanking me for agreeing to such a match.
The fans watching on the big screen boo Paula as she puts down Scotland in her little tirade causing Rylee to smile a bit, while maintaining a professional stance of holding her microphone up for Paula.
Paula Parker:
But, yes, you bring up Alan's storied career. As a little girl, I watched him. I admired him. He did things his way, whether it was to impress the fans and draw them to cheer for him, or later in his career when he decided to be a smug, piece of...
The Prodigy stops herself and mouths' 'sorry, I'm a lady. No cursing.'
Paula Parker:
Well, his current form. Alan had many triumphs, but just as many falters, and tonight will be one of them. Yes, Alan, you did have to come to Scotland for this, to become the next person in the ever growing list of LOSERS to The Prodigy, Paula Parker. You can bring whatever you want, but trust me, I'll bring my Family with me...and NOTHING is able to break a bond of family. I'll see you out there, legend.

Paula Parker VS Alan Envy

Backstage here at Riot in Scotland we find the MWE Junior Heavyweight Champion, Rainer Nordhagen traversing the backstage area with his girlfriend, Karen Eldon at his side. The two are hand in hand, having arrived ready for their match later in the night.
Karen Eldon:
I am so ready to beat these losers, to show them who the “it” couple is in MWE. And they’ll finally have to admit it.
Karen brings a smile to her own face just thinking about getting to gloat after a potential win, as Rainer nods his head in agreement.
Rainer Nordhagen:
God, they make me sick. We might as well just put them out of action. Then they’ll be out of our hair for good!
The two turn a corner only to find they have turned the corner into the very couple they were discussing. Standing there together are Duke Andrews and Tiffany Lynn-Page. Almost immediately Karen slides back to where she is a step behind Rainer, expecting the worst out of Tiffany and Duke. Tiffany looks at Duke and smiles.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Look at this, babe. After all the talking she does Karen backs away in fear.
Duke Andrews:
Haha Typical.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Don’t worry, Karen, as you should know by now when I want to get you I’ll get you. Isn’t that right, Miss former Lockdown Champion?
Tiffany smiles devilishly as Karen rolls her eyes, annoyed.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Go ahead and keep thinking that you walk on water, Karen, but the rest know you are on borrowed time till I get you. Hell it might be tonight.
Tiffany winks at Karen as she and Duke turn to walk away. Tiffany looks back at Karen and Rainer.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Hey champ! Tell your title that it’ll be mine very, very soon.
Tiffany and Duke laugh as they begin to walk away, Karen waits until they are far enough to yell out.
Karen Eldon:
Yeah! RUN AWAY!
By now Duke and Tiffany are far enough away that they likely didn’t even hear her as Karen shakes her head looking back at Rainer.
Karen Eldon:
I HATE…them. I want them out of our lives for good after tonight…
Karen fuming as Rainer nods his head pulling her into his side as they exit.
Rainer Nordhagen:
Trust me, I’ll put them both down for good.
The couple walks off the other way now, these two couples ready to finally get the scrap in they wanted to.

Submission Only Match
Siobhan Mahoney VS Tiana Petrova-Hammond
WINNER: Tiana Petrova-Hammond BY: Submission (Ankle Lock), 10:10 |
We come backstage where we find PCP, Phenomenal Cosmic Power, getting ready for their match later tonight. To the surprise of no one, Matt is already ready in his gear while Veronica is perusing her options.
Matt Stone:
As fun as this trip has been, I can’t wait to be back home. The only good news is that with the time difference I’m not going to miss the Super Bowl.
Veronica rolls her eyes as she picks up two different colours for shorts options, trying to avoid making direct eye contact with Matt while she’s speaking.
Veronica Sawyer:
Yes. I’m glad to hear you’re focusing on the big priorities in life.
Matt Stone:
She said, looking at the eleventh and twelfth options, respectfully. We both know Tweedledee and Tweedledum are on the same page, and we’ve worked together for the past two months on making sure we are as well, I don’t see how thinking about the biggest game of the year for a moment is going to jeopardize that.
Veronica Sawyer:
God forbid we don’t impress a tag team who’s already made it clear they think we’re lesser than them.
Veronica tosses both of the items of clothing back inside of her suitcase before she turns around to finally face Matt. She places her hands on her hips in a firm manner.
Veronica Sawyer:
Fortunately for us, we don’t share the same brain, so we have the advantage going into this match as far as I’m concerned. Even with you obsessing with your little football thingie.
Matt Stone:
I am not obsessing, I was just planning ahead. I would have thought you’d appreciate someone making future plans, what with that being all you’ve talked about for the last month.
Veronica Sawyer:
I feel there’s a huge difference between my wedding and your football game.
Veronica raises one eyebrow as an amused smirk appears on her lips.
Matt Stone:
True, your wedding doesn’t have Rihanna. So there.
He says, matter-of-factly though still with a smile on his face. Veronica shakes her head as she is once again rolling her eyes.
Veronica Sawyer:
Very mature Matthew.
He eyes her for a moment before responding.
Matt Stone:
Well, another example of how they differ is that I’m invited to watch the Super Bowl.
Veronica Sawyer:
Are you implying that you aren’t invited to my wedding?
Matt Stone:
I haven’t gotten an invitation, I would say that’s a pretty good indicator, wouldn’t you? I mean, it’s no big deal or anything, just don’t be on a honeymoon for a month.
Veronica Sawyer:
Or maybe I haven’t sent out any invitations yet.
He eyes her for a moment, then proceeds.
Matt Stone:
Well either way, we should focus on the Wonder Twins for this evening, right?
Veronica Sawyer:
Finally something we can agree on.
Veronica turns back towards her suitcase before pulling back out two of the colour options she had been trying to decide between.
Veronica Sawyer:
Help me figure this out.
Matt Stone:
Help you figure it out? Which one fits better? I don’t understand why a married woman, or a soon to be married woman at that, would care what others think of their outfit at this point.
Veronica Sawyer:
I’ve always cared about my appearance. You know that.
He sighs, looking at the two shorts in her hand.
Matt Stone:
Well then in that case go with the one on the right. The one on the left clashes with your eyes. You probably can’t see it.
She focuses her attention on the pair of shorts on the right, as if she was debating going with his choice, before she nods her head. She tosses the other pair back inside of the suitcase.
Veronica Sawyer:
See? Was that so difficult?
Matt Stone:
No, not difficult, now go change so we can win this match and I can go back to obsessing over football. The universe needs balance, after all.
Veronica gives him a mock salute.
Veronica Sawyer:
Aye aye Captain.
It’s clear that she’s mocking him, but still she listens to what he’s said, as she grabs the rest of her things so that she can go and get changed. The scene fading out.
Annica Greene:
Aliyah, I’m mad about it. It’s fine if Stone wants to be stupid an’ act like we must be, tryin’ to be all cute and force us into this whole Alice in Wonderland fetishism he’s got…
In complete stereo the twins make a face, then hold up a finger as if to vomit, because well, ew. They shake themselves before continuing.
Aliyah Greene:
… Imagine callin’ somebody as cute af as Veronica Sawyer Queen of Hearts when in that context she’d be big old headed like that Tim Burton movie? Especially when he ain’t even as cute as that psycho boi Crispin Glover? The DAMN NERVE on that man.
They huff, each reaching up to flip their long braids back over one shoulder, the light catching on all the glitter, spangles and sequins on their matching red, white and blue gear. It’s damn near blindingly brilliant and of course completely identical as are the twins themselves.
Annica Greene:
See? Mad about it. Thing is, we know. Oh we knooooow little boi, we out here playin’. A lot. We have fun. We talk lots of trash, especially to that hag hasbeenaroo Karen.
Aliyah Greene:
But you know, you ain’t stupid even though you actin’ a fuckin’ fool, Stone. You been around the block, you old af, you know. That makes you sneakier than ever. Almost dangerous, cause you know WE can get things done without the sneak, without the cheat, we just do it cause it’s FUN. You do it, cause you can’t do it without it no more.
Annica Greene:
Truth told time… only a total busted ass bish would roll up on us and think they could just do that. Just take what we got, first off the block. We just broke a record HERE, fool.
Aliyah Greene:
Holdin’ all this gold, we ARE good as we say we are. We ARE able to get things done. We also got an answer if you wanna have your manager trot along ringside, and our manager man is better lookin’.
Like magic the twins suddenly hold up a picture of Devlin… DARK… lookin’ pretty fly tbh in a tailored suit that probably cost more than the producer’s last car. They set it aside gently before wagging a finger each at the camera.
Annica Greene:
We expect you to lean hard on ya tag partner’s skills, being real here. Hell if we was as busted as you, it’d just make sense.
Aliyah Greene:
Expect the wooooorst but get the besssst, PCP… oh shit. If’n you’re PCP, where’s ya itty bitty livin’ space?
The pair are discussing this bit of deep lore as the cameras cut away.
Tag Team Match
Bad & Boujee VS PCP
Outside of the OVO Hydro a steel barrel stood aflame. Jacob Figgins huddled toward the barrel for warmth. Clad in a leather jacket, The MENTV Title clutched in his gasp. He looked into the flames thoughtfully for several seconds before looking up to the camera person he dragged out here. He raised the title up above his head.
Jacob Figgins:
Ya know. I think I might have gone about this the wrong way. The whole taking your toys away thing. It might work on my four year old but you are a grown woman, aren't you Aislin? Such tactics really don't cut it anymore do they? It was a rash decision, and here I am treating a belt with a legacy like it's some toy. I have been in this too long to be acting in such a manner.
Figgins lowers the belt and clutches it in both hands, looking down at the center plate pensively. It seemed like the conflicted man was about to have a change of heart, before a smirk emerges. He tosses the MENTV belt into the flames.
Jacob Figgins:
You ARE NOT getting this back. NO ONE is getting this back EVER. Now tell me, how do you feel about losing something that will never return to you?
Jacob yanks the zipper of his jacket down to show there is gold underneath. He doesn't toss his jacket back to fully reveal the new belt. It seems like everyone will have to wait until the match to see it.
Jacob Figgins:
That title kind of wasnt my style anyway. You see I always kind of followed my own rules. I had my own theorem . A Chaos Theory, if you will. It looks like you missed out on your shot to make history, Ash. Instead, that honor goes to Abbey Blake. Abbey gets to participate in the first ever match for the Chaos Theory championship. I mean shes probably not near as much of a brat anyway. Tootles
Figgins turns and walks away from the blaze. The crackling of flames and the hiss of shrinking leather filling the air. Before we glance into the blackness.
As Riot In Scotland came back from commercial, we were taken to the center of the ring where the Interim General Manager Yulia Kirilenko was standing, microphone in her hand.
Yulia Kirilenko:
God, I missed this feeling...
The founder and first ever General Manager of Riot spoke, receiving a round of applause by the sold out crowd.
Yulia Kirilenko:
I'll be honest with you, it's been fun to get back in that office and book a show. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did...
Judging by their loud reaction, they did.
Yulia Kirilenko:
But all good things must come to an end, and so is this show and with it, my run as General Manager too. But before I go, I have a few announcements to make, including the name of the person Vincent designated to book the next episode of the Orange brand. Before we get there though, I want to address the next match on the card, the three way tag team match.
A brief pause.
Yulia Kirilenko:
There's certainly a lot of history there, so I thought... Why don't we spice things up a little bit? Duke and Billy, for example, they had an absolute banger at On Thin Ice, already a potential 2023 MOTY candidate that, unfortunately, left us without a clear winner. I talked with Vince and Elsa, and they confrimed what I was already suspecting. At the next PPV, we will witness a rematch between the two of them. So I thought I could give them a little incentive for tonight: if either one of them gets the decisive pinfall on ANYONE of their opponents, they'll get to pick the stipulation for their match.
The announcement received a positive reaction from the fans.
Yulia Kirilenko:
Karen Eldon and Tiffany Lynn-Page have been at each other's throat for quite some time now, and sooner or later they're bound to crash. If Tiffany will get the final pinfall or submission in tonight's match, she can decide to face Karen at the next PPV, she can opt to challenge Rainer for the Jr. Heavyweight champion or... She can have both of them, on separate nights. Karen instead will be awarded the chance to face her archenemy in a match with a stipulation of her choice. Literally ANY stipulation.
This time boos followed her words, even though the fans didn't hate Yulia's decision: they simply couldn't stand neither Karen nor Tiffany.
Yulia Kirilenko:
I heard Rainer saying that he wants Tiffany out of his and Karen's lives... Well, all he has to do is to win the match for his team and Tiffany won't be allowed to get anywhere close to them for a whole year. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination. As for the final participan in this match, Millie Smith... She kinda got pulled into all this, but she doesn't really have beef with anyone else in the match. So if she's the one getting the decisive fall, she'll be facing Rainer Nordhagen at Anarchy In The UK with the Junior Heavyweight championship on the line.
Once again the fans began to cheer. Yulia waited for them to calm down before continuing.
Yulia Kirilenko:
Now that that's out of the way... I don't know if Vincent was high on meds when he made this call or if he was in such pain that he felt like he needed to put everyone else through it but... He nominated Kimberly Williams as the interim General Manager for the next Riot.
The fans went nuts in anticipation. Needless to say, putting Kim in charge opens a new can of worms, as we saw the only time she was given a bit of authority.
Yulia Kirilenko:
This could be a disaster or the greatest thing ever, nothing in between. And the only way you have to find out is to tune in next Sunday!
She let the crowd calm down before continuing.
Yulia Kirilenko:
My job here is done. Thank you for showing up tonight, enjoy the rest of the show.
As the former GM left the ring, Rumchata Ayano entered it, announcing the first entrant of the three way tag team match.
The camera comes back to the ring where we prep for the main event when ‘Omnishred’ and the crowd erupts, there's a few moments where there is smoke coming from the entrance ramp. As the intro finishes and the drums kick in, we see the new Riot champion, the Toughest out in wrestling, Andrew Raynes, make his way through the smoke with the Riot Championship in his hand. He walks out and looks around a little bit before he throws his hands up in the air, lifting the belt and pyro setting off all around the entrance ramp. He cocks a smirk, not really buying into the fans and he slowly makes his way down to the ring. He slides the belt in first and then he slides in under the ropes. He grabs the belt before he pops back up and heads to the corner where he's given a mic. He walks back towards the center of the ring, not really playing up to the crowd because it no longer concerns him. He looks around, while placing the Riot Championship over his shoulder, and gives another little smirk.
Andrew Raynes:
I warned Clyde, when I first laid him out on my first night on Riot that I was going to deliver a message that was crystal clear. I made every intention known that I was going to take this belt away from him and put the rest the bullshit notion that fate was on his side when in reality, fate was working against him the more he fucking pandered on about it. I told him that i was the Vanguard of his destruction and in one swift motion i took the very belt he held so close to his chest, so tightly guarded in an attempt to continue the idea that fate was going to allow him to continue being the champion when he was doomed from the very start.
You cannot escape your doom.
I showed everyone on the Riot brand and the rest of MWE just exactly why I am one of the hardest people to beat around here when you face me straight up. I’ll give Clyde the credit in giving me absolutely everything he had, knowing full well he would have needed more in order to get the job done and why I solidified myself as the toughest son of a bitch in wrestling today. The war that we went through and the amount of damage we did to each other is something that very few people can even fathom. It took me back to the days where I was the best CHicago Way Champion in this company and showed just exactly why I bring another level to any championship I possess.
Even if some clowns couldn't wait to try and discredit me after my victory.
He smirked again, knowing full well who he was addressing, he took a moment as he looked back at the Riot Championship over his shoulder. He patted it a couple of times and smiled before looking around again.
Andrew Raynes:
It pisses certain people off that I came in and did exactly what I said I was going to do, i came right in and cut the head off the biggest snake on the brand, taking down the longest reigning riot champion like that *snaps fingers*. It's funny that even after i said all that and got the job done, some people couldn't wait to try telling me that this belt is nothing more than a paperweight because it's now in my possession when in fact, this belt will only continue to gain prestige and the demand it deserves because i can take this belt to heights that others could only dream of. When i become a champion, i welcome the target on my back, i fight through the hell i'm told i have to go through and walk out the other side with the gold over my shoulder. Exactly as I said I would. It pisses people off because I am capable of accomplishing that on my own accord, I get the job done with my own two hands. I don't need a band of village people type douchebags to get the job done for me. It's funny how you have the audacity to call my championship reigns worthless when you couldn't even get the job done yourself, Julian. You had everyone soften them up for you before you simply walked into the ring, and essentially hit a “fingerpoke” type kick of doom and make it look like you were the greatest human being on earth.
You’re a fucking .
Your little master plan took weeks, months in order to get all your little pieces in order before you could finally achieve your little dream in the most pathetic way of them all. The fact that you couldn't even bother to get involved while all your little bitchass cronies did all the work for you because we all fucking know that you are absolutely incapable of accomplishing anything on your own, would easily discredit me as worthless because quite frankly, it will always serve as a reminder that i am that much fucking better than you and I can easily make this championship belt worth more than any length of time you clutch onto that world title as long as you have your little barrier of assholes protecting you at all costs.
You can say whatever you want too, you can have your little band of bitches come for this title and use five people to take it away from me. I don't care, I will be standing here until they take my very last breath away before it's pried away from my cold dead hands. I won't hide from you or the division. You can hide behind them all you want and protect yourself from me because eventually, Julian, that barrier will succumb to ego and time and you will crumble in a minute when it finally does. If I have my way, I will be the last face you see before I shatter the glass steps you built yourself to the top and watch it all come crashing down in the most glorious way possible.
Andrew smirks, getting that off his chest, takes a moment to collect himself and focus on what really matters, tonight. Facing off against the former Junior heavyweight champion, Echo.
Andrew Raynes:
Tonight, though, is about getting things off on the right foot as the new Riot Champion. Continuing to show why I am the toughest out in wrestling and a force as the champ. I will continue to demonstrate and send messages to anyone who wants to try stepping up and taking a shot and why you'll need to come prepared or get put down. Tonight is about showcasing the Riot Championship and making sure that people understand just why I was able to walk into Riot and immediately establish myself as one of the best. Make no mistake about it because as much as you may think that you have what it takes, I can easily change the game at a moment's notice.
So Echo, tonight you get your first chance to show me something good, I hope that you've been preparing and coming at me with everything you've got because otherwise, I will simply shatter you in a heartbeat and showing everyone just how much this title will be worth hunting for when it's all said and done!
Andrew tosses the mic and taunts the crowd as Omnishred hits again and takes a few moments before Echo makes her way out to the ring.

After a small recap of the PPV and Abby's win, she mentions the new champion that also happened at the event. She fully knows that she's the challenger.
It's all on her to pry the title from the brand new champion, yet it's what needs to happen. She's been close to gold in Millennium and she's here on this occasion to stop being so close; instead finally hold her first title.
Next she talks about the title, some of the inspirational champions. She knows 5 defences is the magic number to challenge Rainer, no small feat pun intended. That's the journey ahead of her, she'll make that very clear, but it all depends on winning tonight. Those are the stakes. She concludes that she feels she's ready to be champion, fans agree, times up for talking about it, she then heads off to fight for it
