Millennium CXIII
Taped from Hill Exhibit Hall in Albuquerque, NM
Wednesday, December 14th, 2022
The setting should be quite familiar to the MWE fans. We are in the same studio from which, every January, Amy Maynard presents Red Line. We're not quite there yet, although the fourth edition of MWE's hardcore extravaganza is fastly approaching, but the voice of Riot is there anyway. She greets the audience with a warm smile, explaining that due to some uspecified network issues, this edition of Millennium as well as the next one and Riot in Wyoming will come in the form of a recap. Introducing tonight's card, Amy obviously highlights the main event, hinting at some surprise for it. And speaking of surprises, the beginning of the show was undoubtedly something different...
MWE Millennium opens with Pierce Manning seated in the center of the ring wearing a three piece suit. The fans were expecting Tiana and Dean to kick the show off with a competitor hard hitting affair. But instead the very disgruntled Pierce Manning is sitting there without a care in the world. The New Mexico fans are restless, especially after the antics of The Manning’s a few days ago on Riot. He brings the microphone to his lips.
Pierce Manning:
“One two... is this on?”
Affirming his mic is officially live, Pierce proceeds to address everyone.
Pierce Manning:
“New Mexico... I bet you came here tonight to see your favorites in action. Glory Braddock versus Kenzie Garrett in a rare champions vs champions contest. Or did you come to see Kimberly Williams be the loveable little sociopath that she is as she attempts to bust Valkyrie open? Do any of those matches excite you?
The fans cheer, hyped to see what MWE has to offer. Pierce rolls his eyes. Then chuckles.
Pierce Manning:
“I have some bad news. You’re not going to have a show tonight unless I get what I deserve!”
Naturally the fans boo Pierce as he promised to hijack the show they paid good money to see. He allows the hatred to die down. Enough time has passed, he continues.
Pierce Manning:
“It’s a crying shame me and Megan needed to force Moretti to do his damn job! This is the fourth show since the 5th Year Anniversary extravaganza. You think that would be enough for management to at least schedule me to compete. Did that happen? No. I had what some would argue was the best match of my goddamn career. What do the bright minds of Millennium Wrestling Entertainment decide to do? Ignore me, per usual.”
“What else is new? My entire 2022 has been management going out of their way to minimize my worth. Yeah, yeah, I know, I rant about this every week. I really don’t want to. What does a man need to do around here? You have the spotlight being given to newcomers and managements handpicked chosen ones. You got these Academy kids being shoved down our throats. Beating Seth’s ass didn’t matter to the suits in the back. I still can’t get booked. I shouldn’t have to subject myself to that, hell, I’ll wrestle some local scrub from New Mexico. Pretty hard not to complain when this goddamn company keeps proving me right week in and week out, and you know what, I decided that I have nothing to lose. If 2023 is going to be a reflection of 2022... walking away doesn’t sound like a bad option.”
The fans cheer the thought of Pierce leaving. He holds up his hand in an attempt to silence them.
Pierce Manning:
“I doubt Grace is gonna release me from my contract. Unfortunately you’re stuck with me. The way I see it, IF I don’t get what I am entitled to, you’re not going to have a show. The more time I sit in this ring, the more time will be eaten up. Since this is live television, we can’t really go over the time allotted, I doubt the men and women in the back are gonna be too happy about me eating up their precious airtime. Like I care. They don’t give a crap about me. Why should I give a damn about them? So Moretti. You have a choice, pal. Come out here, do right by The Man in MWE or else you’ll have to refund the paying customer for not getting what they paid to see.”
The fans boo Pierce relentlessly. He doesn’t care. Something does catch his attention. He looks over to a fat male in the crowd holding a “Megan Is A Slut” sign in the front row. Pierce stands up, pulls off his jacket. Walking over to the ropes he exits the ring, walks straight to the fat man in the crowd. He wasted no time pulling him over the guardrail. Dragging him up to his feet, he rolls the fan inside the ring. Pierce slides under the bottom rope. The audience grows more and more uncomfortable with what is going to happen next. Pierce allows the fan to get up. Now to his feet, the fan tries to throw a punch that Pierce blows. He smirks. In an instant he takes the fan to dick kick city. As the fan is squirming in pain, Pierce smirks. He grabs the mic he laid on the mat.
Pierce Manning:
“I did say I would take on a local scrub. You’ll have to do.”
Pierce drops the mic. He folds up the chair he was sitting in. Pressing the chair onto the throat of the defenseless fan, he raises the chair in the air prepared to crush his larynx when...
Vincent Moretti:
THAT’S ENOUGH!
Normally not his show but here regardless, Vincent Moretti is walking down to the ring like a hunting dog who has his nose in something. He’s dressed professionally as you’d expect with his job. He ends up pulling himself into the ring. The call is what gets Pierce’s attention so security can swarm the fan and take the poor fellow to safety.
Vincent Moretti:
You ruin a main event and then you pull this crap? You’ve spent most of the damn year whining, complaining, bitching and moaning…and every step of the way, Pierce. Every step of the freak’n way you’ve bit the hands that were trying to feed you. Whether that’d be Seth or in this case me. And here I am saving you from what would’ve turned a black eye in our company into one where you could get yourself blackballed. Is that what you want!? Blackballed? It’d be worse than walking away on your own terms, kiddo…
Pierce Manning:
“Blackballed? You think I give a damn about that? When my MWE contract expires I’m done with this sport anyway. Dealing with incompetent suits like you sounds like paradise. Tell me something Moretti, if Seth didn’t offer me a chance to face him, would I have opened the 5 Year show instead of main eventing? Don’t answer. That was rhetorical. Spare me the nonsense. Do your damn job. I demand to know who I am facing at the pay per view. Make it good or else I’ll find another local. This time I’ll put him or her in the hospital. Bet Grace would love the black eye of one of her wrestlers beating the living hell out of a fan.”
Vincent Moretti:
Impulsive as ever…but it’s already known who you face in Denver, Colorado. I’ve known about it for a while. I cleared it up with Miss van Beek the moment I figured you’d try to step out of line. And this is as good a time as any…since you aren’t going to listen to me, Miss van Beek, Ella, or God himself.
Vincent blinks for a moment with a sneer etched on his face. But faintly he looks up for a moment nodding his head before returning to make eye contact with Pierce.
Vincent Moretti:
Your opponent…isn’t some local or a suit. Your opponent is the next person that knocks you on his ass…ME!
And before Pierce can react, it’s Vincent’s turn to throw a right hand and the suckerpunch actually knocks…Pierce on his ass. The entire audience roars in approval as Vincent tackles him from there and now the two are having fisticups and the audience is going crazy. Now security has to go from protecting the overweight fan to separating the other show’s boss and one of his employees from fighting one another. The two have found their way back on their feet throwing wild blows, Pierce slightly taller and having more reach and Vincent’s blows looking more wild and animalistic comparatively as if he’s channeling his wrestler self. The audience is booing as they’re finally able to pin the two men down and separate the wild scene that’s developing.
Singles Match
Dean Smith VS Tiana Petrova-HammondWhat started as a hard hitting contest between two competitors trying to spark up their careers unfortunately turned in yet another mess. After five minutes of intense back and forth, MMA influenced action, Nine van der Hoek and her cult stormed the ring and attacked the competitors. Their target was, obviously, Tiana whose only "crime" was being Trinity Thompson's girlfriend. Smith was unceremoniously tossed out of the ring while The New Problem and a bunch of other masked cultists attacked the Russian-American in retaliation of what happend on The Academy between Saoirse Tyrell and the former MWE star Trinity Thompson. With Trinity not even in the building, there was nobody there to help Tiana. The Band Of Nine kept stomping and kicking the former Academy Student, until Nine commanded them to stop. Erin walked closer to the Leader and handed her the ritual knife. Things looked really bad for Petrova-Hammond. She tried to break free but the cultists soon blocked her. That was when the crowd suddenly erupted in cheers as the cavalry came to rescue Tiana. And it was the last person anyone was expecting. The former Invictus champion Echo rushed down the ring, knocking a couple of cultists down on her way there. More of them attacked the Australian as she entered the ring but she easily got rid of each and everyone of them, planting EMP on the canvas with The Reverb. At that point, Nine opted for a strategic retreat. Echo kept staring at her until she disappeared from her sight. Once she was sure Nine was truly gone, she went to check on Tiana. WINNER: // BY: No Contest, 5:33 |
The scene cuts backstage as Till Schlotterbeck is seen leaning up against a wall. Dressed in his wrestling gear, Till has his eyes shut as Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag is playing on his phone. Till mouths the lyrics as his head bobs to the beat. The song ends and Till opens his eyes to see the camera in front of him. Clearly not in the mood to talk, Till takes a deep breath in before addressing the camera.
Till Schlotterbeck:
Walker has jokes. Funny, funny man. That Nazi tweet, Grade A Trolling. Along with the rest of his tweets. Something that an eight year old would post, knowing that he’s safe in his parents basement. And that’s pretty much what Walker is, a child. The way he acts, the way he dresses, the way he wrestles. Childish.
Another song is about to play on Tills phone, but Till grabs his phone and pauses the music as he goes back to talking.
Till Schlotterbeck:
Now I know why Walker brought up Nazi’s. Easy low hanging fruit for a little Twitter troll. It’s the only way he can get noticed. 20 something little boy who will do anything and everything to get on top. He has to be like that, because his wrestling sucks. Sloppy. Uneducated. Hard to watch. What Walker needs to do is to either go back to school or go work in a bingo hall in the Indy scene. Why MWE is wasting their time on him is beyond me. The paycheck they give Walker could be better used somewhere else. Like better wrestlers…..or at least some beer in catering.
The camera follows Till as he walks over to a table with a shot glass and a bottle of Schnaps. Tossing his phone on the table, Till looks over the bottle of Schnaps as he goes back to talking. .
Till Schlotterbeck:
Most of the people you’ve faced, you’d be able to get underneath their skin. Easy to do when you’ve faced off mostly against kids who are still learning the ropes. Opponents with only a couple of years in the business. They’re young, dumb, and full of cum. Just like you. Me? I’ve been wrestling for ten years. I’ve seen marks like you come in and try to be hot shit. Two years later and those sport entertainers are gone and trying to scam someone else out of money because they thought they could get the better of a Veteran…. but instead got a black eye and a hefty medical bill.
Opening the bottle, Till pours the Schnaps into the shot glass.
Till Schlotterbeck So this isn’t going to be your average wrestling match, Walker. This is going to be a beat down. Where if I have my way, you will bleed, you will have bones broken, and if I’m lucky and God smiles upon me…...you’ll miss a tooth or two.
Lifting the shot glass in the air, Till gives a grin so the camera can see his missing tooth
Till Schlotterbeck And, hopefully, after the smoke clears…..you’ll relinquish your childish ways and finally grow up. But I doubt it. Prost!
Till downs the shot and slams the glass on the table.
Singles Match
Till Schlotterbeck VS WalkerIt was scheduled as a wrestling match, it soon turned into an all out brawl. Till didn't appreciate the words Walker spewed on Twitter and was determined to teach the young man a lesson. The onslaught started as soon as the bell sounded with Schlotterbeck beginning to pound Walker with punches and elbows strikes. Walker reached the ropes, sticking his torso out of the ring to catch the break from the German's attacks. Till grabbed his legs and held him horizontally. The referee warned him against it, Walker almost begged him to stop but Till was not having any of that. He fell back, catapulting Walker into the top rope. The former student struggled to regain his breath, and the hard chops to the chest from Till surely didn't help him. We saw tonight a much different side of Till, way more aggressive than he was against Jasper. Surely the size advantage on Walker made it easier to impose himself, but the German made the mistake of count the Bamboozler out too soon. With a tornado DDT, the young man created an opening for his comeback. The pace got sensibly faster and Walker showed flashes of brilliance and class amidst the cocky and brash attitude. He scored a couple of near falls with the Walk Drop (double arm ddt) and a savate kick but when he attempted a diving crossbody he got cought by the big German and dropped on his knee with a rib breaker. Till punished him with some wicked shots and eventually finished him off with his Prost!, obtaiing his second win in two MWE matches. WINNER: Till Schlotterbeck BY: Pinfall (Prost!), 8:15 |
Back in the studio, Amy Maynard takes us back to the incredible events that opened the night. Pierce Manning's attempt at taking over Millennium and the announcement of his match against Vincent Moretti. She speaks about the Riot General Manager, reminding the fans that before taking the job, before his role as Seth Iser's manager, Moretti used to be a wrestler. To support the statement, she shows some vintage footage of his wrestling days. The last piece of info she drops before moving on to the next topic is about the match at On Thin Ice. It won't be a regular one fall match, the two of them will be competing in a No Holds Barred Match!
Next in line is the umpteenth assault perpetrated by the Band Of Nine and the return of Echo. After the huge win against her mentor Alessio van Duren, Nine van der Hoek had been relatively quiet until this attack on Tiana, although it's safe to say the real target was the XIX World Champion Trinity Thompson. What is Trinity going to do? What about Echo? Why did she come to rescue Tiana? Is she going to step up against the Frisian Demon?
Amy announces the second part of the show, featuring three matches. But before that, we get to see a brief interview between Emma Wakefield and Camille Bellamy. They talk about the upcoming match and how dangerous Darcy Graves can be. Emma then admits her struggles to adapt to "the big stage" after graduating from the Academy. It's been a few rocky months for her, and she feels like she didn't quite live up the expectations her coaches at the Academy had for her. It sounds almost like an apology, and a promise that things will be very different from now on. 2023 will be her year.
Singles Match
Emma Wakefield VS Darcy GravesThe desire to turn things around was the force driving Emma as she stepped in the ring with Graves. After a couple of minutes where the more experienced opponent dominated her, Wakefield landed on her feet off a German suplex, Emma caught Darcy with a standing dropkick as soon as the Irish turned around. Now it was her turn to show off her skills, connecting a few suplexes on Darcy including a beautiful Northern Lights variation for the first near fall. Darcy had to resort to an eye rake to regain control, taking advantage of the situation and blasting the momentarily blinded blonde with his feint roundhouse transitioned into a spinning wheel kick, but it wasn't enough to keep Emma down. The blonde earned a near fall of her own with the From Your Emmagenation snap ddt. The crowd came back to life, pushing Wakefield toward the win. They didn't have to wait much longer, a couple of minutes later she connected the Emmargency Call and pinned Darcy for the count of three. Will she be able to carry this momentum into the final shows of the year and into 2023? WINNER: Emma Wakefield BY: Pinfall (Emmargency Call), 8:03 |
Luis Rivera has something to say before his match against the former Lockdown champion. A message to Bree's brother, Dean, and he starts with a congratulation. He admits that Dean gave him a run for his money at 5ive, but he still couldn't end his undefeated streak. He then adds that he considers that DQ win a blemish on his record, something he needs to rectify. He looked back into Dean's career in MWE, admitting that he "had to go back a few years to find the last time he has been relevant". The dig obvioulsy drew some jeers from the fans, but Luis carries on saying that the best Dean Smith was the Invictus champion version. And that's who he needs to put down to wash the remove that blemish.
That's it, he challenges Dean to an Invictus Rules match at On Thin Ice. "And once I'm done with Dean, I think it's time to get some gold around my waist."
Singles Match
Bree Smith VS Luis RiveraBree was a woman on a mission tonight. Losing the title and losing the rematch against Karen was a hard blow for the Breebarian, but she was determined to get back on track. The match had barely started annd Luis already had to take a break after being tossed around by the Power Of Bree (triple German suplex). Once he got back in the ring, he tried to turn the tides with one of his boxing combinations. He then followed with a neckbreaker, but Smith kicked out of it. Bree's incredible strength seemed to be too much for Rivera. He got put through the Backbreaker Reps and barely survived them, but things looked pretty grim for him and the streak he took so much pride in. One thing we learned about him in his months of the Academy, and what makes him such a dangerous competitor, was that he could strike anyone down at any time with that vicious right hook. It hit out of nowhere, catching Bree right on the side of the head and knocking her out cold. Luis made the cover and picked up another win. WINNER: Luis Rivera BY: Pinfall (Right Hook), 8:25 |
Backstage at Millennium we see the unusual sight of “The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams driving a zamboni. It is dragging a small tank of red liquid (possibly blood?) behind it. Don’t ask The Queen of the Death Match how she got this tank of blood, if it IS in fact blood. Just accept it. Kimberly pulls the zamboni to a stop and then hops off. She is wearing a full body purple catsuit, purple boots, purple gloves, and a purple Darth Vader Mask. In other words, every inch of her skin is covered. She has her SCW Underground Championship title belt wrapped around her waist, the HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt draped over her right shoulder, and the ‘Dautra Invented’ Unsanctioned Championship title belt draped over her left shoulder.
Kimberly Williams:
Valkyrie, there is something Intern Layla never told you. I AM YOUR FATHER! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA…
Suddenly she starts coughing.
Kimberly Williams:
I really need to practice my evil laughter while wearing this stupid helmet. Anyway, Valkyrie, you have something that I want. That Chicago Way Championship would go perfectly with my other three death match championships. It will be mine, Viking lady, and there isn’t a damn thing anyone can do to stop me.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams:
But who cares about tonight, am I right? I mean, tonight is not about the Chicago Way Title. Tonight is MWE’s attempt to hype what will probably the inevitable three way between you, me, and our bff Patel! You and Patel beat each other up in what I have to admit was the best officiated match in the history of the company! Now you and me are going to beat each other up! I suppose sometime next week me and Patel will get to throw fists! I can see the writing on the wall. I can see the pattern developing. People love their patterns…it makes them comfortable when they know what to expect.
She shakes her head.
Kimberly Williams:
But when you are dealing with chaos you cannot know what to expect. That’s why chaos frightens so many people. But I thrive upon chaos. I enjoy it. Chaos gives me strength. Chaos is what will bring me the Chicago Way Championship.
She waves at the camera.
Kimberly Williams:
See ya out there, Viking lady!
Kim hops back on her zamboni and drives off.
First Blood Match
Kimberly Williams VS ValkyrieKim's performance with the striped shirt on didn't impress Valkyrie. The High Queen had some frievances with how she called the match against Ahalya, and she was manifesting them with chair shots to the back. The last one hit the former Chicago Way champion on the head, but the Woman Scorned was known for having a thick skull and that dreadful blow wasn't enough to make her bleed. The fight continued, the level of violence kept rising as the two brought in all kinds of weapons to try drawing blood from the opponent. Introducing Betty White. What's better than a Freddy Kruger-esque gloves to cut the opponent open? The Woman Scorned tried several times to sink the fatal blow but Valkyrie managed to stay away from it, even when she found herself with her back in the corner. One of the knives on the glove got stuck in the protective pad of the top turnbuckle, and when Williams pulled her arm back, she ended up exposing the steel underneath it. That ended up backfiring on the Wild Card: after disarming her, the Great Dane Bitch lifted her and dropped her head first into the steel, cutting Kim right above the eye. WINNER: Valkyrie BY: Bleeding, 10:46 |
Back in the studio for the last time. Amy reminds the next special events on the MWE schedule, On Thin Ice on Tuesday and Wednesday and Red Line IV on December 30th. Both shows will be available on demand on the network and on MWE official website. She greets the fans and give them appointment for the coverage of Riot in Wyoming and Millennium CXIV.
Back in the Arena, we found the tag team champions Bad & Booujee ready for their match. They talk about their opponents, how much they respect the "Indian Queen" for everything she accomplished. Their focus then switched to their opponents at the next PPV, Jessica Lasiewicz and Summer Collins. They may be on a mission to become two time MWE tag champions but Bad & Boujee are not done making history yet.
We may not understand what Ahalya Patel and Qiyara Singh are saying, as they both are speaking in their native tongue. But there's something different in Yara's eyes, a fire and determination we hadn't seen in a while...

Tag Team Match
Ahalya Patel & Qiyara Singh VS Bad & Boujee
You wouldn't say that this is the first time Qiyara and Ahalya teamed up. Not only they showed a surprisingly good chemistry that allowed them to take control in the early part of the match, but they also played on each other's strengths like they've been doing this all their life. Clearly Aliyah and Annica weren't expecting this. They knew better than underestimating the Indian duo, they knew that singularly (or with the regular partner in Qiyara's case) they were incredible competitors, but they didn't seem ready to take on a such a well-oiled machine. Singh's 540 hook kick blasted Aliyah right on her face, and perhaps would've been the end for the twins if Annica didn't make the save in time. It took them a while, but eventually the tag champs figured this out. They focused on Ahalya, hitting her with a double knee strikes to each side of her head, but it wasn't enought to keep the veteran down. Patel slammed Annica on the mat with her patented Back Throw, a move coming straight from her Kalaripayattu background. They both made the tag at the same time, leaving the stage to the respective partners. Yara charged at Annica who caught her with the standing moonsault side slam, but Singh kicked out in two. The Indian caught the opponent with a tilt-a-whirl side slam for another near fall and made the tag to Ahalya. The twins tried their trademark switch but Patel saw that coming and quickly asked the ref to turn around. He managed to catch them in the act. The Queen Of India fought her similarly named opponent, who surprised her with a quick roll-up. Annica from outside helped her sister getting her feet on the bottom ropes for extra leverage, managing to keep Ahalya down for the three. WINNER: Bad & Boujee BY: Pinfall (Roll-Uoùp), 13:28 |
It isn’t often you get to see two champions of a company face off. It is even rarer to see the number one champion of a company face the number two champion of a company. It is quite the pressure moment but no one is more prepared to handle the pressure than “The British Bombshell” Glory Braddock. The beautiful blonde is dressed in her two piece royal purple wrestling gear and matching purple boots. Braddock’s MWE World Championship title belt is draped over her right shoulder. She stands there facing the camera with a confident expression on her face.
Glory Braddock:
Last week was my celebration, my CORONATION if you will. I stood in the center of the ring to revel in what I had accomplished, something very few can say that they have done. To achieve ONE world championship in your professional wrestling career is hard to do. Few can reach that pinnacle, that level of success. But I went and did it seventeen times. Seventeen times I have been a world champion. I have held the world championship in every single promotion I have set foot in. I am the absolute best wrestler in the entire world and there is no arguing that point any longer. I am greatness personified. Each and every single person in this locker room and all of the idiot fans should worship the ground I walk on because I am that damn good.
She smirks knowingly.
Glory Braddock:
Then you came along, Tiff. Little miss five foot death kick decided she had the guts to cash in on her championship opportunity and use it against yours truly. Now most newly crowned champions would be offended that you interrupted their celebration but I’m not offended. In fact, I am impressed by your gutsy move. You went straight for the top championship in this company instead of going for a lower ranked title instead and working your way up. That is a gutsy move. Not only that but you went and interrupted The Best in the World. I have choked people unconscious for less offenses than that. So yes, your courage impresses me. And like I said last week, those are the traits of a future world champion.
Braddock shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
But you really should have went for a lower ranked title. You would have stood a chance against someone like, say, Clyde Sutter. Valkyrie. Or my opponent tonight Kenzie Garrett. You do not stand a chance against me, Tiff, because you are not in my league. Maybe someday you will be but right here, right now, you are not ready for Glory Braddock. That one golden ticket opportunity you had, you just squandered it by challenging me. I’m getting ahead of myself, though. You are not my primary focus right now, Tiff. You are not my problem. But I am YOUR problem, Tiff. I am going to be the one to crush your hopes and dreams. That much is a guarantee. However, if you want to salvage your reputation, if you want to at least put up a good fight against me, then just watch what I do to Kenzie tonight. Watch and take notes what the REAL champion, the MWE World Champion, does to her tonight.
She smirks.
Glory Braddock:
Kenzie Garrett versus Glory Braddock, the Intercontinental Champion versus the World Champion. Any other time and place this could easily main event. In fact, some might argue that this should be the main event. But as arrogant as I am, I do not need the main event spotlight to satisfy myself.
She pats the World Title belt that rests over her shoulder.
Glory Braddock:
This is all I need to prove that I am the very best on this roster. This is all I need to prove that I am better than everyone else, including you, Kenzie, and I am also going to prove it by outwrestling you in front of the whole world in just a few moments. A match like this could indeed main event any wrestling card. It is being billed as champion versus champion but you know what this really is, Kenzie, and do you know what you really are? This is a look into the future, specifically little miss death kick’s future. When I get the Shekhinah Glory locked in, the only choice you will have is whether you tap out and give up or if you wait until I choke the very life out of you. That is your future, Kenzie.
Braddock points a finger at the camera.
Glory Braddock:
That is your future, Tiff. Tap out or get choked out. It’s your call.
Champion vs Champion Match
Glory Braddock VS Kenzie GarrettBig match vibes for this contest. Garrett started off better, surprising the World champion with a quick flurry of kicks and knee strikes. Braddock weathered the initial storm and grounded the opponent with a long series of submission. Kenzie tried to escape but it was obvious that Glory had the technical advantage. The IC Champion's best shot was to keep a fast pace and stay away from the champ's grasp. She tried to catch the British Bombshell off guard with several quick pinfalls attempt, collecting a number of near falls and really putting pressure on Braddock. Another close call for the seventeen time World champ came with a rebounding meteora, but once again she saved herself. A great perfomance from Kenzie, but it wasn't enough to beat the veteran. Garrett was on the top rope ready for another aerial assault when Glory reached her on the top and connected a super Gloria In Excelsis Deo (codebreaker). It was her turn now to climb the turnbuckle and jump on Kenzie with the London Plunge, for a long count of two. The Soulknife came back with a second wind but once again couldn't seal the deal. Glory, instead, closed the deal with the Glorification. What was interesting was the fallout of the match with Sophie O'Brian joining her best friend for the celebration and hitting Kenzie with the Ode To Braddock as soon as the IC champion stood up. Glory asked the timekeeper to hand her both titles and gave the Intercontinental champion to Sophie. Both women posed with the gold. Could this be what the future of MWE looks like? WINNER: Glory Braddock BY: Pinfall (Glorification), 16:36 |
The camera takes us inside Elsa's office. The General Manager was busy working on some papers when she heard a knock at her door. Tiff stepped in and took a seat at the desk, in front of the GM. Elsa politely asked her how she could help and the former Cloud Gate champion immediately explained the reason of her visit. She said that she understand how important is respect, and that she can see how she felt disrespected by the attitude Addi showed to her. But she doesn't think it's fair to put her in a handicap match.
Elsa replied that she gave Addison the chance to pick her own partner, but the Cloud Gate champion refused and chose to challenge Elsa's authority instead. "I didn't want to put her in this situation, but she made her own bed." Tiff sighed, saying that she understands but respectfully disagree. The reason why she came here was to ask to be added to the match as Addison's partner. Elsa smiled, saying that she was hoping someone would step up, and she's glad Tiff was the one to do it.
It's official then. The match is now a triple threat tag team match.
Handicap Thriple Threat Tag Team Match
Addi McKins & Tiff VS The Division (RAZE & Julian Savell) VS Miki & Melissa Reeves
Seriously, was anyone really surprised to see The Division taking advantage with a cheap shot before the match even started? RAZE took down both Tiff and Addi with a double clothesline, Julian did the same to Mel and Miki with a dropkick. They got rid of the oppoents, leaving the Cloud Gate champion alone in the ring. RAZE lifted her in a pwerbomb position and dropped her on Julian's double knee backbreaker. RAZE made the cover while Julian leveled Tiff with a clothesline. Behind her, Miki was able to sneak in and break up the pin. The former [R]evo tag team champion kept manhandling McKins, throwing her into the ropes and hitting a sidewalk slam. Melissa took the blind tag ans as soon as RAZE tured his back to her, she hit him with a springboard knee strike to the back of the head. Mel and Miki worked together as a team, taking care of RAZE and Julian after the tag. The self-proclaimed Savior Of Wrestling used on of his tricks to break free from Reeves' headlock and drop her down with a reverse DDT. He then tagged Tiff in, smirking as the Five Foot Death Machine stepped in the ring with the former World champion. Him and RAZE then just watched the opposing teams wearing each other down, refusing to tag in and jumping off the apron every time one of them approached them. This allowed them to be fresh and rested when the match entered the decisive moments. Melissa was out after taking a Death Kick, Tiff got laid out by Miki's Mikillshot. Addison and Miki were now legal, the champion managed to slip behind the opponent's back and hit her with the Ohīlagon (backstabber), but Miki incredibly saved herself by resting her foot on the bottom rope. Julian saw the opportunity and tagged himself in, surprising Addi with a brainbuster. He then hit the Golden God Kick on Miki and made the tag to RAZE, offering him the chance to pin the champ with his Atomic Bomb. WINNER: RAZE and Julian Savell BY: Pinfall (Atomic Bomb), 18:54 |
