Aspen Eisley:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the NEW MWE World Champion, “The British Bombshell” Glory Braddock!
We hear the first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne playing over the PA system...Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage. Braddock is dressed in a black lace a-line princess silhouette long sleeve dress with a hemline that stops just above the knee. She is perched atop black high heeled sandals. Her long blonde hair is pulled into a bun in the back. Her newly won MWE World Championship title belt is draped over her right shoulder. A confident grin is plastered across her lovely face. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.
I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity
People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly and Braddock retrieves a microphone.
Glory Braddock:
Did you hear those beautiful, dare I say GLORIOUS, lyrics from my new entrance theme? Shout out to The Prince of Darkness for letting me use the song, by the way. The song is called IMMORTAL and that is exactly what I am. I am immortal. No, not literally immortal, but figuratively speaking I will live forever in the annals of history and in the minds, hearts, and souls of professional wrestling fans and wrestlers forever and ever until the end of time. The funny thing is, when I started my wrestling journey back in 2008, I merely wanted to continue the legacy that my father, the late Glenn Braddock, had started. At that time just coming close to matching him would have been enough for me to call myself and my career a success. Little did I know of the success that would come? How would I know that success would come so naturally, dare I say so easily to me? Because now the year is 2022 and now I am a seventeen time World Champion. I have competed under the banner of multiple promotions all over the world and I have won the top prize of each and every one of those promotions.
Braddock pats the MWE World Title belt that rests upon her shoulder.
Glory Braddock:
Now I am the MWE World Champion. I am the standard bearer of MWE. I am the Best Wrestler in the World today!
The British Bombshell shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
That is not arrogance or overconfidence, that is me stating a simple fact of life. This championship right here makes me immortal. This victory makes me immortal. Everything I have done and accomplished in my career from January of 2008 until today makes me immortal. Now I know what people love to say…those other accomplishments don’t matter. What have you done here? Well let’s look at what I have done in MWE, shall we? MWE Television Champion. Check. MWE Riot Champion. Check. MWE World Champion. Check. I have main evented against some of the top names in this company and own victories over them all. And as for this…
She takes the MWE Title belt and stares longingly, lovingly at it. She grins sadistically.
Glory Braddock:
…I deserve this. I am entitled to this.. I deserve it, I am entitled to it, because of all of the hard work I have put into this company. Yet when I needed this company the most, when facing impossible odds against the likes of the Triumvirate, APE, and other gangs of the month, this company turned its back on me. It refused to do anything about the blatant rule breaking, cheating, and hell, this company practically encouraged this kind of chaotic gang warfare. Someone like me, all I wanted to do was to make this sport better. I just wanted to do good for this business and leave this sport, this company, better than the way I found it. But my good intentions were spat upon.
Braddock shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
No more! I am no longer doing this for the good of this business or the good of this company. I am going to be very selfish from now on. I am doing this for me! I am going to mold this company, this very sport, into MY glorious image whether any of you like it or not! Sic Semper Tyrannis? Thus always to tyrants? That’s what I used to say. But now I am going to be the tyrant and I will revel in every single second of it.
That's when the new champion was suddenly cut off by "Very Ape" by Nirvana, the theme song for one of the MWE crowd's favorites. The fans cheered as the Five Foot Death Kicker, Tiffany Rollins, emerged on the stage. Although dressed casually and not for combat, she does have a smile on her face as she makes her way towards the ring, holding something familiar in her left hand. The champion has a look of amusement in her face as the youngster approaches her, but before she can react, Tiff quickly cuts her off in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her right hand. The crowd quiets down in time for her to speak.
Tiff:
Hi Glory. First of all, let me congratulate you on finally winning the big one. You've been doing this for so long, and anyone who thinks you don't deserve this moment is wrong. You've worked harder than almost anyone on the roster, and I'm here to tell you to your face… You deserve it.
As Tiff looks up at the smug champion, her delightful mood is about to change.
Tiff:
You may be immortal, but you ain't untouchable.
The crowds pop at that comment.
Tiff:
Oh sure, you're the World Champion. Your name is already in the history books. With all of your accomplishments, you can call yourself immortal all you want. But when you're immortal, there's always someone there to bring you back to mortality. When you're the champion, you'll always be challenged. All it takes is an arrow to the heel, or in this case, a boot to the face to take everything away from you. And that's the real reason why I'm here.
She holds up the item in her left hand; a contract that she won 12 months ago.
Tiff:
You see this? I won this back in January. I won the Red Line, guaranteeing me a shot at a title of my choosing. Now I've had an absolutely crazy year, but with everything behind me, I'm finally able to cash this opportunity in, and not a moment too soon. And in case it ain't obvious enough for you, I might as well say it to your face…
She gets right up at the champion, face to face.
Tiff:
I'm challenging you for the biggest prize of them all; the MWE World Title.
The crowd erupts as Glory and Tiff stare each other down in an intense moment.
Glory Braddock:
You know what? I like you. You are just so fearless. So…spunky…
Braddock smirks.
Glory Braddock:
And you know what? I respect everything you have done and everything you have to endure this year. Whether it is here in MWE, Valiant, or wherever. You have been through a lot and have faced some tough challenges head on without backing down. I like that about you and that is a trait of a future world champion. But there is one thing you need to understand, Tiff. I am not Faizah. I am not some weird ass cult. I am not the same old same old group of the day seeking to take over MWE.
She shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
I am Glory Braddock. I am The Best in the World. Taking this championship away from me will be damn near impossible.
Tiff doesn't look intimidated at all, staring right back at the World Champion. She had faced "impossible" challenges before, defending her title against the likes of Aries Armadaist and Seth Iser. She also became almost synonymous with the expression "impossible to beat" during her year long reign. And she learned that "impossible" is just a word. The staredown is intense, the expectations for this title match, judging by the reaction of the fans, an all-time high. The challenge is set, the stage will be the last PPV of the year. What a way to end 2022!

Singles Match
Ashley Bell VS Erika Eldon
WINNER: Ashley Belle BY: Pinfall (Bell Ringer), 5:19 |
We arrive backstage where we see the approaching figure of one Ahalya Patel, she looks amused if nothing else by the approaching camera crew, though she is busy using a towel to dab beads of sweat from her face and eyes, she looks almost reluctant to begin speaking.
Ahalya Patel:
Alright guys, lets make this quick, I still need to change and get ready for what I am sure is to be a very unique contest.
She states this with a smile that clearly reads just how full of shit that statement was, yet she maintains her composure.
Ahalya Patel:
The truth is I’m fucking excited! I don’t care that Kim’s the special guest referee, that she is going to make this match absolutely crazy, and that there is a possibility that no one is going to come out the winner because we’ll be doing the live version of an escape room. Believe me I’m cool with it, lets just say I’ve had some practice in my earlier stages of life escaping a few things.
She measured that with a smile, but then she paused briefly.
Ahalya Patel:
The truth is though, this is my first chance to really size Valkyrie up, learn about her movements, figure out what it is she has in store when the odds are stacked against her because clearly instead of having one number one contender, she now has two, and unless I’m mistaken neither one of her opponents this go round will get distracted by a pair of tits while trying to finish out the bought. Truthfully, this belt is the one I wanted to aim for the minute I came here to Millennium Wrestling Enterprise, after discovering just how unique the stipulations are for the Chicago Way Championship, it enthralls me to capture it. All my life I’ve done things that I am not particularly suited for. In fact, I hate tag team wrestling and one of the longest reigns of my career was a tag team championship run with none other than Tyson Gregory. So while I’ve had my share of challenges out here, the Chicago Way Championships offers so many unique opportunities to show you all what I can do, especially when I personally don’t even need any of the weapons that are available to me. Yet, think about all the beautiful possibilities I can make with all the added extras.
There seemed to be a slightly crazed gleam in her eye for only a moment, and then it was gone.
Ahalya Patel:
So Valkyrie, its time to show what you’re made of ma, because I’m not backing down and I’m pretty sure Kim feels the same way even if she’s just the referee this go round. We’re coming for you and when we do. . . well there’s no preparation that’s going to help, but you at least need to try.
She offered a wink at that prior to exiting the hallway space, leaving those watching to soak up her words.

Backstage in the ready area we find “The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams skipping happily into the scene from the right. She is dressed like Count Dracula; in black pants, black shoes, and a crimson and black cape. The only unique thing about this attire is her shirt, which is a white and black button up zebra striped shirt. Her face is painted purple. She has her SCW Underground Championship title belt wrapped around her waist, the HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt draped over her right shoulder, and the ‘Datura Invented’ Unsanctioned Championship title belt draped over her left shoulder.
Kimberly Williams:
One…AH! AH! AH!...Two…AH! AH! AH!...Three! AH! AH! AH!
The Queen of the Death Match holds up three fingers.
Kimberly Williams:
THREE! AH! AH! AH! That’s all I have to do tonight! I have to count to three! Now sure, I was read the riot act about what referees are supposed to do, about the rules to uphold and all that shit. But seriously, do I look like someone who follows rules? I don’t have any rules. My only job tonight is to count to three. And I was also told by management that I’m supposed to be fair and unbiased.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Kimberly Williams:
I suppose I am fair in at least one regard…I don’t care if Valkryie and Ahalya beat the hell out of each other! They can destroy one another if they want! I will enjoy the carnage they rain down upon one another and I will watch it happen! That’s fair. Chaos is fair and I will let chaos reign supreme here tonight between two of my future opponents.
She grins from ear to ear.
Kimberly Williams:
That’s right! Thanks to me and Patel both winning at #5ive, we all three are on a glorious collision course with the top prize of the Chicago Way Championship on the line! The Chicago Way Title is something I prize and value more than anything else in this company…and as the current Death Match Belt Collector I fully intend to add the Chicago Way Title to my collection or prizes!
Williams winks at the camera.
Kimberly Williams:
But for tonight, I COUNT…One…AH! AH! AH!...Two…AH! AH! AH!...Three! AH! AH! AH!

The scene opens up in Selena Lyre’s locker room where she is seen pacing back and forth seemingly upset, while Mr.X can be seen sitting on a bench still wearing his mask, and his cane leaning on the bench to the right of him.
Selena Lyre:
I had that match won! It was mine for the taking! Erika was A push over, and Rainer wasn’t much better. The crowd was cheering my name! I mean it should have been my night, but in the end the number game got to me, and one little slip up, and I lost.
Selena throws both hands up in disgust as she continues pacing frantically.
Selena Lyre :
And to add to that bullshit? That bitch Karen came, and pulled that bullshit that she did, and even though I can’t stand Erika? I do feel bad for her I really do, Ugh! I am so pissed off right now.
Mr.X grabs his can, and stands up, and walks over to Selena who stops in front of him confused as he raises his left hand, and slaps Selena across her right cheek causing her to instantly grab her cheek with her right hand as her eyes get big in shock.
Mr.X :
On your knees girl.
Selena looks at Mr.X, and slowly nods as she gets down on both knees before Mr.X.
Mr.X :
Good girl. I understand your situation, any normal person would be pissed, and I don't fault you for that. What I do fault you for is for letting it control you, I taught you better than that, and I know that you're better than that.
Selena nods slowly in agreement.
Selena Lyre :
Yes Sir…. I apologize.
Mr.X :
No need to apologize, but seeing that you're in agreement you may rise.
Mr. X reaches out his left hand down towards Selena, and she looks up at him smiling, taking his hand and rising to her feet wiping the tears from her eyes.
Mr.X :
So you have a tag team match tonight. It is your first time working with someone else in a team, and you also have A chance to get some revenge on Rainier, and Karen, so whats your mindset?.
Selena Smiles letting go of Mr.X’s hand.
Selena Lyre :
I had planned on just going out there and unleashing my anger on the so called power couple, but after you slapped me, and reminded me to calm down? I now realize that I need to control my rage, and not let it control me, and so tonight I bring controlled chaos, and by that I mean I am coming into this match with no intention other then win at all cost. I may be a good girl, but tonight Rainer, and Karen get struck by lighting, and they will learn to fear me, and I am going to send a message that the sweetest of girls can turn into the fiercest of demons, and I send a message to the world.. Don’t fuck with Selena!.

Here in Houston we find ourselves in the locker room seeing the much unwelcome sight of Karen Eldon straddling Rainer Nordhagen in their locker room. The two making out for a moment before pulling away.
Karen Eldon:
I guess everyone hates us now right? All because we win and they all lose and lose and lose. Meanwhile look at us...
Karen points over at their title belts sitting next to them on the bench.
Karen Eldon:
We have all the gold. I am finally done with Bree. Thank God. For some reason you have to deal with Serena...Still. It's not fair.
Karen mistakes her name, likely on purpose to try to dismiss her. Rainer rolls his eyes at the mention of the woman’s name, he too thinking that he’d be rid of her by now. The Junior Heavyweight Champion sighs, his arms interlocked behind the small of his girlfriend’s back.
Rainer Nordhagen:
Do you see how they try to keep us down, babe? It wasn’t enough that I beat her once, they’re going to let her try to take my belt again and again and again. Management is so see-through it’s pathetic.
He shakes his head.
Rainer Nordhagen:
And now they insert Landry into this? Like we want anything to do with that damn loser! He’s going to go on like our love is some massive personal insult to him, when honestly, I doubt either of us would care if he dropped off the face of the Earth. People move on.
Nodding her head as she snuggles close with him, only drawing more jeers and groans from the crowd watching.
Karen Eldon:
I mean, a lot of people are going to hate what we have now. I mean, we are sort of the it couple in MWE. And I know Gabriel is likely thinking about cashing in his little shot..On me.
Karen seems sick to her stomach thinking of having to deal with that.
Karen Eldon:
But when we dominate these two...again. He will think better of it. Let's go out there, make easy work of them. And head back to the hotel as soon as possible.
Rainer smirks at that, that too drawing another groan from the crowd who seem to detest the two even more now. Nordhagen nods, in complete agreement.
Rainer Nordhagen:
I welcome it. The idiot has never thought with his brain, only with his heart, he’ll challenge you and get completely embarrassed! You are so talented, love!
He leans forward, planting a loving kiss against her lips.
Rainer Nordhagen:
As for the blue haired one with the tattoos, I forget her name, but I’ll show her once and for all why she should abandon all hope of challenging me for my title.
Karen giggles and gets up out of his lap grabbing his belt and handing it to him then grabbing her own as well.
Karen Eldon:
God. We really do run this place don't we?
Laughing a bit enjoying herself as Rainer nods his head in agreement. He grabs her around the shoulder, pulling her into him as the two exit the locker room for their match.

Tag Team Match
Karen Eldon & Rainer Nordhagen VS Gabriel Landry & Selena Lyre
WINNER: Gabriel Landry & Selena Lyre BY: Pinfall (Hurricanrana Driver), 12:13 |
For just a moment, we see a far more serious aspect of the loud and vibrant twins of Millennium Wrestling, their Tag Team Champions Bad & Boujee. They stand shoulder to shoulder and in a totally synchronized and perfect motion they lift the championship belts, holding them up to display to the camera before putting them emphatically over their right shoulders. Matching gear of course, identical just as the twins are themselves, in a brilliant shimmery gold color as well, and Annica looks to her sister before she lifts her hand almost languidly to speak.
Annica Greene:
That’s a shame, y’know. We was hopin’ to face Ahalya Patel n’ Rhett or even Ahalya an’ Qiyara Singh but we get ‘couple goals’ tonight instead and WE GUESS that’s okay.
Aliyah Greene:
Ahalya, see, she’s not what some of y’all might think. We’re thinking maybe some of you forgot what a queen she was, before but that’s aight. More people that don’t remember the past, that’s more people bound to fall into traps and uh…
She pauses and suddenly beams a smile far more like the ones more often seen on the twins and shakes her head.
Aliyah Greene:
Understand though, this match is bigger for them lovebirds tonight than it is for US… just know that.
Annica Greene:
Cause it is, and we think they smart enough to know that. IF… IF THEY CAN…
Aliyah Greene: Think about it. If they can beat us, then fair enough that puts them right in line to TRY IT at the next big pay per view, with these lovely titles on the line!
Annica Greene:
Anybody that knows us, knows we ain’t afraid to put our titles up, we are FIGHTIN’ CHAMPIONS just as much as we are BAD and we are BOUJEE.
Aliyah Greene:
We want ALL the challenges and ALL the smoke, see. We are on our way to breaking the records of both K2O and APE, and well… WE WANT THAT.
She pauses and almost giggles, shaking her head so those long blond locks swish around her glimmering shoulders.
Annica Greene:
We got a bet pool goin’ to see if Karen has a stroke when we break that record so you guessed it, we just GOT to do it to her.
Aliyah Greene:
But tonight, well, we got this team even though we wanted another, but who knows, WHO KNOWS, we might get that other one too, betcha Rhett would look good in them zebra stripes as a special referee, ya dig?
The pair nod emphatically before they start to speak again, but instead grin slyly before no-look high fiving and simply… leaving the frame, the camera focused on where they’d stood mere seconds before!

WINNER: Bad & Boujee BY: Pinfall (Electric Dream), 11:16 |
Backstage we find PCP, Matt Stone and Veronica Sawyer, chatting in their locker room.
Matt Stone:
I’m not blaming anyone, I’m just saying that if you hadn’t kicked me in the face, we wouldn’t have lost the match and we’d be preparing to get our hands on the Tag Titles right now, not standing around waiting to be booked like a couple of curtain jerkers.
Veronica Sawyer:
I don’t know how many times I need to remind you that it was an accident.
There’s a clearly frustrated tone in Veronica’s voice as she places her hands on her hips, she appears to be resisting the urge to roll her eyes in front of her tag team partner.Matt doesn’t show her the same courtesy however and shakes his head.
Matt Stone:
Accidents or not, the point was that it was costly. That’s all I’m saying and it wouldn’t hurt to spend more time working on our team work. That way we don’t end up kicking one another again.
Veronica Sawyer:
Oh so this is all MY fault?
Veronica points to herself using both of her index fingers as her eyes open wide almost as if she was in shock.
Veronica Sawyer:
What exactly do you suggest we do since you appear to be the expert.
Matt Stone:
Well for starters, I think you should make it up to me. I hear that when people make mistakes, they take the people they’ve wronged to Italy.
Veronica Sawyer:
Is it so I can make sure the mob finishes the job for me?
Veronica raises one eyebrow with a small amused smirk tugging at her lips.
Matt Stone:
Aha!
Matt shoots his finger up at her as he exclaims.
Matt Stone:
So you admit you did it! J’accuse!
She quickly pushes his finger away from her face as she finally roll her eyes.
Veronica Sawyer:
Oh calm down Poirot. I told you it was an accident.
Matt Stone:
Jokes on you, he’s not even Italian…I think. The point is if we’re going to work better together it stands to reason that we should spend more time together. If an all expense on you trip to Italy isn’t your thing, perhaps we could start with something smaller.
He begins to pace back and forth in front of her like he’s trying to solve a mystery.
Matt Stone:
What about those trust exercises where we fall on each other?
Veronica Sawyer:
Is this your secret plan to make me fall so you can have a laugh at my expense?
Matt Stone:
My secret plan? I’ll tweet that if it ever happens, that sounds hilarious but now, I’m trying to come up with ways to avoid kicking one another in the head.
Veronica Sawyer:
Well in that case… I think you should go first…
Matt Stone:
Me? You want me to go first? What if you…
He stops when he sees the expression on her face change and he sighs.
Matt Stone:
No, you’re right. This is about trust and that’s a two way street…like most streets, I hate one way streets…anywayfine, okay.
Matt turns his back to her and crosses his arms over his chest, taking a deep pause and falls back into her. At the last moment Veronica steps to the side and allows for Matt to fall on the floor at her feet with a loud thud.
Veronica Sawyer:
Oops?
Matt Stone:
Ow!
Matt rubs the back of his head and looks up at Veronica from the floor.
Matt Stone:
You’re supposed to catch me!
Veronica Sawyer:
You were coming at me way too fast, I could have hurt myself!
Matt starts getting up, looking at her.
Matt Stone:
It was your idea and that’s how gravity works, Veronica.
Veronica Sawyer:
Maybe we need to focus on things that are less stupid if we want to build up our team.
Veronica places her hands on her hips as she casually shrugs her shoulders.
Veronica Sawyer:
Or else we can be one of those teams that fades out.
Matt Stone:
If you thought it was stupid why didn’t you say something before letting me fall on the floor? Letting your partner fall on the ground is what leads to teams fading, you know.
Veronica Sawyer:
Well, back to the drawing board, then?
Veronica manages a big smile, although it’s questionable how genuine it is, before she turns on her heels to start walking away with Matt following behind her trying to get her to listen to some of his other ideas for team building.
Matt Stone:

The scene opens up inside Alex Andrews ' modest apartment living room. We see her straightening things up here and there, grabbing a few pieces of laundry and such. Eventually she notices the camera and slides over the arm of the couch to take a seat, smiling at the camera.
Alex Andrews :
Did y'all see?
Her smile getting even brighter.
Alex Andrews :
At Five, did y'all see me single handedly by myself pin a former MWE World Champion? Me? Little girl from Knoxville Tennessee pinned CCJ's shoulders to the mat. Me, I did that.
She chuckles to herself and shakes her head.
Alex Andrews :
In case you needed a reminder, I can hang with the big boys. I went toe to toe with our new reigning World Champion, Glory Braddock. I showed the world I could beat Chris Constantine Jr. And now I get a chance to see how well I hold up against another former World , in Chris Sanderson.
She brushes her hair back behind her ear.
Alex Andrews :
He's back from his walkabout, broadening his horizons. And I'm sure he's back to pick up where he left off. But the thing is, I'm not the Andrews you've been going back and forth with. I'm not Duke, no relation actually. I've seen the two are you don't see eye to eye and I quite glad to hear it. Duke isn't the warm welcoming type. Anyways, moving on. I'm sure he sees little old me and thinks it's going to be an easy walk in the park. I mean...look at me.
Alex motions to herself.
Alex Andrews :
But you see, I've made a career out of being the underdog. Fighting from underneath. It's a part of who I am. I'm a bit of a scrapper. I'm used to being underestimated. Used to being looked over. And more often than not, they eat those words. I plan on doing the same. Show up and show out, right? I'm going to prove I belong at the top of the food chain here in MWE. Just gotta keep swinging at the heavy hitters, right?
Alex puts her fists up and winks at the camera. She then gives the camera a knowing look before she gets up and walks out of the room, the scene fading to black.

The scene cuts to Megan Manning backstage. She’s pacing back and forth in her locker room, looking clearly agitated. She soon looked over at the camera and rolled her eyes.
Megan Manning:
What do you want me to say, huh? That I lost again? I failed at another opportunity? I still can’t cut it? Because I hear all of you saying it.
She rolled her eyes.
Megan Manning:
Do you think your opinions matter to me? As you sit there, judging and stuffing your faces with burgers, hot dogs and fries! You want to be critics of me but you don’t even know how to lift up a fucking weight! You’re all trash!
She pointed at the camera.
Megan Manning:
And then you want to cheer people with their fake wisdom like Seth Iser now and why? Because the Mannings are against him? You fans are so fickle.
Megan scoffed as she continued to pace.
Megan Manning:
But go ahead and cheer for your favorites. Cheer for Anna Daniels tonight when she goes head to head with me. But she doesn’t stand a chance. All she’s doing is standing in my way as I climb back to the top. Because you see, I’m going for the MWE World Championship and by the end of the year? I will be just that, the champ. And I don’t need any of you to help me get there because all you are is trailer trash.
She stuck out her tongue at the camera before she waved it off and walked away from the scene and it cut away.
