Riot in Vermont
Live from Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, VT
Sunday December 4th, 2022
A car pulls up in a parking lot. The headlights are shining into the camera. A figure walks walks past the glare of the left headlight and stands in the middle of the vehicle with his hands in front of him. The camera zooms in to reveal none other than Nate Krelle
Nate Krelle:
So this is the place to be ay? Millennium Wrestling Enterprise? Sounds more like an F’in Star Wars brand than a wrestling company but here we are. This is the where people said I should be if I want to make a name for myself… Make a name for myself? … You people must not know who the hell I am! Im the freaking Anti Trend baby! Ive been all over the world doing what I do best, winning championships, taking over and being the best damn pro wrestler on this god forsaken planet!
Nate stands with his arms out wide with a cocky smirk etched across his face
Nate Krelle:
Im the guy that turns up to a company, flips that whole thing on its head, bring extra eyes to the product and do you know what they STILL say?
They sit there and say Nates the underdog who took his shot. The Anti Trend got lucky. I couldn’t give a rats ass what you people think! Im not the underdog here, no!
Nate laughs slightly
Nate Krelle:
Im not the underdog! Im the guy who busted his ass and is the champion thats constantly over looked!
You want to sit there and write your opinions in so many characters on a twitter status. Or enter your username and password onto reddit and join a thread talking about what I do!
See you idiots don’t get it! No matter what I do you’re talking about it. I sit there myself and talk my own sh*t on twitter
Nate Krelle lowers his shades to the edge of his nose
Nate Krelle:
Follow me Nate Krelle
Nate winks then pushes his glasses back up to his eyes
Nate Krelle:
But do you know the reason why Im already in the conversation here in MWE. I got named to open the card at Riot against Darcy Graves and people started talking straight away!
"Nates in MWE”
“Nate’s out of his depth”
“Nate is going to take over this company like he has everywhere else”
You know why people still like to label me the underdog even though I get eyes on everything I do. Up the PPV buys, Sell more seats in the arena and up the merchandise profits .. You know why they still label me the under dog?
Because Im exactly whats LITERALLY under the dog.. Im the damn dog’s boll*x baby!
Nate shrugs his shoulders, then strokes his beard a couple of times
Nate Krelle:
So the paper pushers over at MWE decided - running cluelessly around offices somewhere in Chicago, Illinois - that they would put The Anti Trend Nate Krelle in the opening spot on Riot against Darcy Graves.
When will these people learn that putting Nate Krelle on first is literally going to F up your whole show! Nobody does what I do! Nobody is on my level. So the sheeple that spend their money to watch a wrestling show get cheated out of the show getting progressively better throughout. Its just one of those things that the suits will realise soon enough!
Nate spits on the floor
Nate Krelle:
THATS what I think about the suits!
Nate slowly wipes his mouth
Nate Krelle:
Has anybody even heard of Darcy Graves? I mean she runs her gums a bit online, and Im not talking about her only fans account! But she doesn’t even seem worthy of stepping into the squared circle with me. Yeah ok she looks great, she’s got a great look. Muscles on muscles, nice poses - again I’m not talking about her only fans account!
Nate sarcastically looks into the camera
Nate Krelle:
She looks an actual threat, I’ll give her it! I’ll judge a book by its cover and say she looks a threat. But the thing about judging books by their covers is that you’re told not to do that! So Miss Graves I actually think that,
Very much like Andrew Raynes’ tweets…
That your threats are empty!
I mean, look, you may be talented but obsession beats talent every day of the week. And thats exactly what I am sweetheart. Im the guy thats obsessed with being the best, with holding gold over my shoulder and wearing a girl around my waist! I DON’T SLEEP AT NIGHT UNLESS I’M CONSIDERED THE F’in BEST… And even then.. Even then.. When I sleep, I sleep with one eye open knowing somebody is coming for my spot.
That’s the difference between me and you. I strive to be the biggest name in the whole of this industry and you’re just happy to be here. Showing your face once in a blue moon and flexing your muscles. I just hope, for your sake, that you turn up to Riot prepared.
Insert a catchy catchphrase here you freaking Marks
Nate Krelle put his shades back on and walks back to the car, crossing the dusty headlight beam of light. He gets back into the back of the car and the vehicle pulls off as the screen fades to black

Singles Match
Nate Krelle VS Darcy Graves
WINNER: Nate Krelle BY: Pinfall (F’n Krelle), 7:23 |
As soon as the cameras move backstage and we see Paula Parker and her brothers, the fans begin to boo. It's no secret that she hasn't exactly endeared herself to the fans or her peers in the locker room since her debut.
Paula Parker:
Let me attempt to understand this. I've already defeated Jessica and Evelyn Carter, and now I have to face them again? Why? What's in it for me?
Paula turns to her brothers, looking at each of them one at a time. They all shrug before Paula looks back at the camera, rolling her eyes in bratty fashion.
Paula Parker:
The Carter girls see this as another opportunity to be the first to end my undefeated streak. This means the world to them. It's almost as if they are being rewarded for being losers. Such a shame, truly, but, I'll be a good sport. I'll give the girls one more chance. The surprise here is that I'm being forced to team with someone, Haylie Lafleur to be exact. Now, I don't know Haylie, but I do know she made her triumphant return to the ring, in victorious fashion, over Evelyn, so that's something. And she's a former champion in HRW. I suppose I should feel lucky, shouldn't I brothers?
As if it were a rhetorical question, the three Parker men remain tight lipped as their baby sister continues.
Paula Parker:
That's what everyone has been telling me since this match was announced, but why? Why should I be the one to feel lucky? I'm the one with a win over both of the Carter girls, not Haylie. I have more wins in the last month than Haylie does. I'm undefeated, and she's certainly lost in her career. I feel like she should be thanking me for allowing her the pleasure to team with me. So Haylie, don't call me Pollie Pocket again, or whatever juvenile nickname you threw at me on social media. Don't even call me your partner or friend, call me your savior, because tonight? I'll lead us to victory. You can thank me later.
Paula looks back at her brothers and nods her head as if to say 'it's time to go' before the confident, bratty rookie begins on down the hallway. Will she remain undefeated? Will Paula and Haylie be able to co-exist against the Carter girls? We'll find out shortly!

We arrive backstage to see the one and only Haylie LaFleur, in her hands she is holding a tablet computer, one that she is frantically ticking away on. The camera shifts its focus circling around her as you can see an immense amount of footage of both of her opponents for the evening, Haylie is studying tape of Jessica and Evelyn it seems only as she does so she is inputting various physics formulas to assess just what moves they are setting up and when.
The camera focuses on her a few moments longer and then it shifts all the way back around before she finally lifts her head up and smiles at the camera.
Haylie LaFleur:
Oh me gosh! Hi there.
She said playfully now closing the cover over the tablet PC and lifting up her jacket to straighten it out from her previous hunched position.
Haylie LaFleur:
You know there is something special to be said about Millennium Enterprise, working for a company like this has so many advantages. Young performers are getting their big break from the Academy, the companies performance center, Others who have struggled elsewhere are coming in to find new opportunities and moments to shine that they weren’t previously given. I’ve always been a fan of a term such as Millennium, As a term it represents a thousand years, and while of course none of us are proclamation to live any longer than 2,438,721,250.56 seconds, that falls short roughly about 922 years.
Haylie gave a small giggle thinking about the statistics before she continued speaking.
Haylie LaFleur:
The Point being, the word Millennium holds a significant place in the dialogue of calculation of years, much like Millennium Enterprise holds a special place in the wrestling industry. Luckily for me I was able to join at just the right time the five year anniversary and of course not only was I able to face Evelyn Carter and win, but I also got to have a little bit of fun backstage, which you will come to see is something I truly enjoy.
Haylie paused for a moment lifting her leg in a model-esqe pose but laughing abruptly as she did it before spinning around and talking further.
Haylie LaFleur:
However, tonight on Riot not only do I get to face the lovely Carter sisters once more, but I get to do it beside a promising young athlete, whom might I say, is a bit silly but for me has remained pleasantly so far. I know it is easy as a young performer to feel as if you have to prove yourself, having been a young performer myself in this industry at 18 I was able to win my first championship and was able to hold onto the title for over 1,000 days. Though part of that really made me stop loving the industry that I wanted to be in all of my life, because of the pressure I put on myself to be a prodigy. I truly hope that Paula doesn’t find a similar fate for herself when she is pushing so hard to be the very best.
Haylie looked very serious if only for that moment before she smiled further.
Haylie LaFleur:
But who am I to tell her what she wants in her career, these are things we all must figure out on our own, and as for me, I have just a little time before going out there so I’m going to go and have a delicious piece of caramel layer cake with intern Layla and then I’m going to go out there against the Carter sisters and show them that I have the formula to succeed. Until then muchachos. Kissies!
The camera focuses on her a few moments longer and then it shifts all the way back around before she finally lifts her head up and smiles at the camera.

Tag Team Match
Evelyn Carter & Jessica Carter VS Paula Parker & Haylie LaFleur
WINNER: Evelyn Carter & Jessica Carter BY: Pinfall (Backslide Pin), 9:07 |
The scene cuts to a previously recorded segment as the newly signed Till Schlotterbeck is seen sitting at a bar. It’s a German Bar, with steins and German flags all over the place. Till is in mid drink when the camera starts recording. Foam spills from the side of his lips as he downs the entire stein and when there is no more beer, he slams the stein on the counter. Letting out a burp, Till wipes the beer from his mouth and shows off a grin as he looks up at the camera and starts to address it in his broken English.
Till Schlotterbeck:
Guten Tag, MWE! For those of you who know the German wrestling scene, you may know who I am. But for you who don’t know, let me introduce myself. My name is Till Schlotterbeck and I’ve spent the past 10 years in Germany perfecting my German wrestling technique of grappling, striking, and being tougher than you.
Till gives a smile so that he can show off his chipped tooth.
Till Schlotterbeck:
It’s my first time wrestling outside of Germany so hopefully my style of wrestling and my mannerism isn’t to foreign for you. But if it is, then let’s grow together as I make my way to the top!
A female bartender, wearing lederhosen and a beer in hand, makes her way over to Till and places the beer in front of him.
Till Schlotterbeck:
So to Jasper King and to the rest of the MWE roster, best of luck in our future endeavors. And a word to the wise…don’t get on my bad side…..you won’t like my bad side.
By now, the smile is gone as Till stares a hole into the camera. And then, out of nowhere, Till has a smile back on his face as he takes his beer and gives a toast to the camera.
Till Schlotterbeck:
PROST!

Jasper King VS Till Schlotterbeck

Andrew Raynes:
It’s amusing to see that my arrival here on Riot has already ruffled a few feathers before I even step into the ring.
Can't say that I am surprised by this.
Andrew smirks, coming into view as he gets ready for his first match on Riot since joining MWE. While he is no stranger to the company, he has yet to make an impact on Riot and showcase why he was brought over here instead after his performance at the 5 year anniversary show. A chance for a fresh start and to trudge forward on his quest. A chance against Luna with the soon to be longest reigning Riot Champion at ringside was a chance to send a distinct message that he had larger aspirations on his mind.
Andrew Raynes:
Making people uncomfortable is something I have been doing in this business for a very long time. When I step into a company, a brand, a match, there is an intimidation factor that you don't recognize until it is too late. I watch people beg for their attention, the validation from others because they are so desperate for attention that they need to go crying to the rooftops just to get noticed. It's funny, I just simply walk into a company and quietly dominate without a need to have people talking about me until I am at the center of their radar and beyond. I do not need to make an impression, I do not need to impress anyone because my actions and my resume speak for themselves. I am not in need of the validation of others because I am at a point where I am free to walk my own path and not feel the pressure of the next match. The freedom I possess to walk my own path and walk it at my pace is something that very few people get to actually enjoy and take in because they constantly feel that pressure of failing and not being able to measure up to their own pathetic lofty expectations.
I am here to set that example.
I embrace change, I embrace the idea of being able to evolve as I grow because no matter what I am always learning. I am not going to be someone that claims to be unbeatable but I am damn sure going to be someone that is very hard to put down. There have been very few people that have been able to do it on their own accord, I am always having to be put down by more than one in order to get the job done, that’s what happened at the five year anniversary show and why I was denied the chance to reclaim my throne as the King of Chicago. I dont sweat it though, I have been accustomed to it for a long time now because of the way i carry myself. I have the confidence that people can only hope for in this business because I am never afraid to lose and I am always going to get up until I can’t, that scares people.
It should terrify you, Clyde.
Andrew smirks, knowing full well that he isnt facing Clyde on Riot but being at ringside has a purpose. Andrew has the power to send a direct message by picking apart Luna and staring a hole directly through Clyde to let him know whats going to be coming. While Andrew may not be on the radar for the Riot championship, he knows that anything is possible and everything happens for a reason.
Andrew Raynes:
I am the toughest out in wrestling today, my time on millennium and as Chicago way champion only strengthened my resolve. It's allowed me to grow out of my sheer will of hatred and into someone more even keeled that can become even more focused and dangerous. I continue to build on what I've done here and show that no matter what I move forward without fear of slowing down. People are so afraid to lose or miss a step while they are looking to ascend that they end up in a worse position than expected, or they try and mask their insecurities and fears by using others to fast track their way to the stop.
Those glass steps always find a way to shatter when they don't see it coming.
Tonight I show why my foundation continues to be solid. Why I am going to be a force here on riot while others are too busy begging for attention and for someone to give them the validation they think they deserve. I'll go out there against Luna and lay a foundation down that will only get stronger as I move forward and won't require me running to anyone that will listen and beg to hear me.
My actions always speak louder than words.
So come take notice as I show Luna and everyone else, especially you Clyde, why I am the toughest one out there and one of the hardest to beat. The impression I leave is that your best shot often isn't good enough to keep me down, something I've demonstrated more than once since being in MWE and that will leave you wondering how to take me down. My path forward is clear as I look to build on what I've started and leave the weak behind.
It's time to shatter glass.

We cut backstage. There we spot the reigning MWE Riot Champion Clyde Sutter pacing very slowly across the floor. He is actually quite calm, cool, and collected for his role tonight as the corner person for Luna in her match against Andrew Raynes. The Assassin is dressed in black dress pants, black shoes, a white button up shirt, and a black trenchcoat. He has his MWE Riot Championship title belt draped over his right shoulder.
Clyde Sutter:
Fate. You can either be subject to it and live comfortably if not gloriously in its numerous rewards. Alternatively you could stubbornly try to fight fate. Many have tried to fight fate and all have fallen before its iron fisted wrath. Fate always wins and when you try to challenge fate it will unleash its judgment upon you. You will judged, convicted, and sentenced. And I am the individual tasked with executing fate’s sentences upon those foolish souls who dared to challenge it. Some of you call me a henchman, Tiffany Page’s hired muscle. But I have proven myself to be much more than that. I was a dominant two time Television Champion. And now I am on the cusp of making history with this.
Sutter pats the Riot Championship belt that is draped over his right shoulder.
Clyde Sutter:
I currently am the second longest reigning Riot Champion in this company’s history. Only one individual has surpassed my dominance as Riot Champion and his name is Devin Hearst. It won’t be long now and I will surpass his reign. I will surpass his dominance. I never lost the Television Title. I was finished with it so I gave it up. The same will be said of my reign as Riot Champion. When I am finished with the title, I will let it go, and then all of you will think of me when you think of the Riot Championship. Why is that? How can I be so certain? Because fate has deemed it so.
A sinister grin forms on his face.
Clyde Sutter
Mr. Raynes, you are a teacher of hate. I was once an individual full of hate and rage, so much so that it turned me into an uncontrollable monster. But I managed to control that hate and rage. In that sense we are alike. Because of this I offer you a free piece of advice and I do hope you pay close attention and take notes, Mr. Raynes, because I hate to repeat myself. You may feel threatened by my presence on the outside. You may feel the need to focus your attention on me simply because I am in Luna’s corner.
He shakes his head.
Clyde Sutter:
Do not make that mistake, Mr. Raynes. Your issue is with Luna, not with me. Placing your focus on me as opposed to Luna will only cost you dearly, Mr. Raynes, and if you lose because of that, then you only have yourself to blame. Not me. Besides, as I have said many times, fate has already determined your future, Mr. Raynes. Fate has already determined if you will be victorious tonight or if you will come up short. YOU HAVE NO CONTROL, ANDREW! Fate…fate is in control…
The Riot Champion smirks and walks off.

We cut backstage where we find MWE interviewer Camille Bellamy. Standing next to her is the wild long haired, long bearded, purple suit wearing eccentric marketing guru for the number one contenders to the MWE World Tag Team Championships. Yes, that duo is Fabulous and that individual with Ms. Bellamy is none other than Leviticus.
Camille Bellamy:
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the manager for Summer Collins and “The Archangel” Jessica Lasiewicz, he is Leviti…
St. Levi holds up a hand to silence her.
Leviticus:
Hold on there, sweetheart. You got it wrong.
Camille Bellamy:
Huh? What went wrong? Your name is Leviti…
Leviticus:
No! You have to use my nicknames first.
Camille Bellamy:
But you have eleven nicknames…
Leviticus:
I’m working my way up to twelve so I can also call myself The Man of a Thousand Nicknames!
She sighs.
Camille Bellamy:
Seriously?
Leviticus:
Yes, seriously. Now try again, Camille.
She rolls her eyes.
Camille Bellamy:
Please welcome my guest…The Most Loved Man On The Planet, The Emperor of Entrepreneurship, Captain Capitalism, Master Media Mogul, Saint Levi, Your Righteous Savior, The Titan of Twitter, The Sultan of Social Media, The Nova Wonder Killer, The Maharaja of Marketing, The Franciscan Friar of Flash, and apparently The Man of a Thousand Nicknames, Leviticus!
Leviticus:
Perfect! See, was that so hard? I see bright things in your future. In fact, after I lead Summer and Jess to victory and back to the MWE World Tag Team Championship, maybe I can negotiate a book deal for you? Camille Bellamy: The Biography!
Camille Bellamy:
Uh, how about I just stick to this for now? And speaking of Fabulous, why don’t you tell the world about Summer and Jessica and their mindset as they prepare for the tag team title match that they earned at 5ive?
Leviticus:
I’d love to…it was like I said that night, it was academic. It was a matter of time. PCP put up a great fight but at the end of the day they were no match for Fabulous. I said they were barely a tag team but come to think of it, are they EVEN a tag team at all? It seemed like as if they weren’t even on the same page. Part of me thinks that maybe my clients need a better challenge to prepare themselves for the dirty little minx twinsies.
He shakes his head.
Leviticus:
But we won’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, I have the utmost faith that Summer and Jessica can defeat them. Summer and Jessica have been on the same page as a team since 2012, longer than any other team in this entire freaking division. They have held more tag team championships than any other team in this division. They are tag team wrestling.
Camille Bellamy:
Where ARE Summer and Jessica?
Leviticus:
You don’t need to know that. Just understand that they are paying very close attention to everything the reigning champs do from now until the time they defend against Fabulous. They are doing their homework, they are strategizing, they are making plans, because that is what REAL teams do. That is what REAL champions do. They don’t go and try to win the social media war. They focus on winning the real war inside the squared circle.
Camille Bellamy:
But don’t you call yourself The Titan of Twitter?
Levi sighs.
Leviticus:
Hush!
He turns and walks off.

JJ Night is backstage in his locker room, each is resting on a chair as he’s doing the splits, his hands clasped together as he meditates. After a few seconds, he takes a deep breath and exhales before opening his eyes.
JJ Night:
Tonight, it’s about not letting my emotions get to me. It’s what the Division wants.
He shook his head before springing up .
JJ Night:
They want me to be angry for what they did to CJ and I won’t lie, I was at first. But I won’t let these games get to me. You got lucky, Olly, but this time? You’re in my wheelhouse. A submission match? We both know that I’m the superior one in this. It’s facts.
He pointed at the camera.
JJ Night:
You will tap out tonight, bud. And I will even up this series. You might think you’re better than me, you always have, to be honest. But you’ve always been one step behind me. You’ll see that tonight. Bet.
JJ walked off and the scene cut away,

MWE Riot returns to air with Pierce Manning already standing in the ring to a capacity crowd that doesn’t want to see him there. He stands there a moment to soak in the negativity from the audience. On this night he is wearing a three piece suit, a contrast from the last time he stood in a MWE ring when he was dressed more casually. Once the crowd gets there disdain out of their system, he brings the mic to his lips.
Pierce Manning:
Bet you didn’t expect to see me tonight, huh?
The crowd cheers in unison to answer Pierce’s question. He half smirks.
Pierce Manning:
I wasn’t expecting to make an appearance in Vermont a couple weeks ago. Hell, I wasn’t expecting to compete in the match with Seth at the Five Year Anniversary show. I was so angry at being left out of the qualifying matches for the MWE Championship. The past twelve months haven't been easy for me. Seeing Anna. Billy. Chris and Duke in that match did make my skin crawl. Seeing Angelica Jones receive an opportunity out of nowhere was one of the hardest things I had to process. In my mind, that was MWE management spitting in my face. You don’t know what it feels like to have people tell you, you need to earn your spot. You need to win matches. Stop whining. Being helpless, watching some old fossils can walk into your place of employment, receive a qualifying match. I was going to quit, look my dad in the eye. Tell him the prodigal son is back. That he was right about wrestling not being for me.
Pierce takes a deep breath to compose himself.
Pierce Manning:
There is only one reason I am here right now. Ok two. The first is Megan. She wouldn’t allow me to up and quit. I don’t know what I did to deserve an amazing woman like her. She looks up to me in a way no one else has. I had become accustomed to being looked at as less than by ignoramuses who aren’t good enough to be my janitor. Seeing the way Megan looks at me. The support I have received makes me realize I am the luckiest man on the face of the planet. And the second reason I am still here might shock you... it’s Seth.
The crowd is thrown off by this admission. Pierce finds the appropriate camera. He looks straight into it.
Pierce Manning:
I was wrong believing you didn’t give a shit about me. In Columbus, Ohio when we stood in this ring, and you looked me in the eye sharing your story about your father... that had an effect on me more than I can put into words. For the first time I felt we connected. Made me realize we had more in common than I was willing to entertain. Was it going to stop me from kicking your ass in Chicago? No. Safe to say we both roughed each other up pretty damn good. We put on a brutal match that will forever be the stuff of legends. We both bled. We didn’t hold back one bit. At one point Seth I almost had you damn it! But I... I allowed my emotions to get the best of me. Instead of planting your ass one more time with To Be The Man, I gave you an opening. You of all people. The wily veteran. My emotions cost me...
Pierce flashes a devilish smirk.
Pierce Manning:
I... was that the lesson? Was what you were trying to get through my thick skull this whole time was I allowed my emotions to get the better of me? Well, lesson learned. So thank you, Seth. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for showing me the light. Thanks for opening my eyes. Unfortunately I blew my only chance to beat you huh? I’ll have to carry that weight until the end of time. BUT I am going to use this lesson to become a better man. I have no clue what’s next in my career. I can assure you one thing, when it’s all said and done. Regardless of what your opinion of Pierce Manning is, you’ll go to your grave knowing you didn’t fail me.
Pierce bends down to put the microphone on the mat. When he does that, much like the last time there was a conversation between the two, Iser ends up walking down the rampway, dressed professionally in a similar manner to Pierce with his own three piece suit, a black and red variant. He’s also wearing a protective nose mask considering his nose was broken in the encounter with Pierce. However when he peers into the ring…so Pierce can get a better look at his own face he takes that protective mask off and you properly see that scar of war.
He does end up grabbing the microphone, still a little bit of caution in his step regardless but in a rarity, the fans are actually more cheering Iser.
Seth Iser:
The lesson…
His tone was low…calm even as again there’s a rare cheer for the man that’s honestly starting to become less rare of late.
Seth Iser:
The lesson was partly that but…a little bigger than that. Bigger than anything we did in Chicago, honestly but I’m here to tell you that was thirty minutes of hell. I feel like hell and if you pulled me to the center of that ring in that moment…rather then make the immediate cover, I’m man enough to admit, you would’ve had me dead to rights. Same thing happened to me when I DDT’d Shawn Fox years ago in that empty arena match…and it’ll be a mistake that’ll replay in your mind…like that one replays in mine.
He lets out a sigh and rubs his neck nodding his head for a moment.
Seth Iser:
But…the lesson is actually greater than that. Something any mentor actually wants for someone that they take under their wing. Especially someone like you when we’re…very similar people just at different points in our life. And that’s become better. Learn from the mistakes I’ve made…and be better than me. A better person…a better wrestler, everything. And you showed in those thirty minutes even in that mistake…you can be that. You can beat anyone on the planet…with what you showed in those thirty minutes. But...I’ll disagree with you on one thing. I might be setting myself up for trouble for saying this…but I feel as if this is right to do.
Suddenly you see Iser actually extend his hand for a handshake, a surprising gesture and one that lacks any predatory air. It’s completely sincere as he’s calm.
Seth Iser:
I’ll cancel that stipulation. In time, there will be another match…you as a wrestler and a man deserve that much and who the hell would I be if I denied that? And if Megan wants her crack…then I’ll grant that as well. But until then…use this as a step…and go on your own path to be better than I ever was. Better than I am now. Hell, better than I might be in a year from now or more.
Pierce looks down at Seth’s hand. He pauses as if contemplating what he is going to do. In a rare act he looks out to the crowd to gauge what they want to see. Once the crowd gets over the shock of Seth offering his hand, the audience tries to urge Pierce for once in his life to be the bigger man. Pierce looks back at Seth. He shakes his head. Before Seth can react, Pierce wraps his arms around Seth, giving him a hug that shocks everyone in Vermont. Seth is unsure how to react at first. It takes a moment, eventually, Seth does return the gesture. Both men are hugging in the center of the ring. What a beautiful moment.
...which is completely ruined when Pierce drives his knee into Seth’s groin. As Seth drops down to both his knees, Pierce looks down at him. In an odd move, Pierce kisses Seth’s forehead, almost like a kiss of death. The self proclaimed man steps to the side. Not knowing exactly where she came from, Megan slides into the ring. With Seth still in a daze due to the knee to the groin, Megan drives her knee into the broken nose of Seth.
The crowd is incensed by the disgusting display of The Mannings as they stand over the body of their former mentor. This provokes the audience into a loud ‘Fuck you Manning’ chant toward the both of them. Pierce and Megan kisses each other passionately over the fallen Seth. The canvas now starts to stain red as the blood pours down from the broken wound yet again.
Hand and hand The Mannings leave the ring not bothering to look back.
Pierce Manning:
Bet you didn’t expect to see me tonight, huh?
The crowd cheers in unison to answer Pierce’s question. He half smirks.
