MWE Summer Beach Tour: Barcelona
Live from Mar Bella Beach in Barcelona, Spain
Friday, July 29th, 2022
The lights dimmed before “The Devil Within” blared over the PA system. Faith Savell stepped out to the entrance way, wearing an expensive green crop top and skirt. The fans rained her with boos. She couldn’t help but grin at the reaction before she made her way down to the ring. Faith called for a microphone and one was handed to her.
Faith Savell:
Well, well, well, isn’t it my adoring fans?
She grinned as more boos were sent her way.
Faith Savell:
I know how much you all wanted me gone. You all rejoined when I was taken out by Lucy, when my career was almost cut short when I was on top of the world. That’s why I never trusted any of you. You all pray for my downfall. You’re sick, every one last one of you.
She recieved more and more boos.
Faith Savell:
But I digress. I’m not here for revenge. No, I’m classier than that. I rise above it. The issues that I’ve had with the likes of Tiff and Faizah? Please. I don’t even care anymore. Why? Because neither of them are on my level and they never will be. There’s a reason both of them are champions right now and are thriving. It’s because I was gone and not here to outshine them. But lo and behold, I’m back.
She raised her hands in the air and smiled.
Faith Savell:
And I’m here to do it in a way like none of you have ever seen. That’s why I’m The Masterclass. That’s why you have people like Tiff and Faizah furious at my return. They’re scared. Even Lucy, who acts like some super badass, is afraid. That’s why she’s scrambling to have daddy dearest by the company.
Faith rolled her eyes and shook her head.
Faith Savell:
Do you see the rippling effect that I have? My appearance alone has shaken Millennium to its core. That’s what The Masterclass does. As for purchasing Millennium? I could have done it ten times over and more. But will I?
She scoffed.
Faith Savell:
No. I don’t need to do that to have my way. I’ll have my way through my abilities, through being a natural talent. Nobody in this company is smarter than I am. Nobody knows how to play to their strengths and everyone else’s weaknesses like I can! I am The Masterclass because of my intelligence and adaptability.
She pointed at the camera.
Faith Savell:
So, for all of you who were worried that I would be on some revenge tour? Don’t be afraid. I won’t be attacking you from behind. No, I’ll be outworking you and outshining you, right in front of your eyes. You will see me coming and there won’t be anything you can do to stop me. You can try and keep up. You can try and copy me and what I do. But at the end of the day? You’ll keep trying to imitate me but you’ll never replicate me. I am the one.
She stepped closer to the camera she was looking at, leaning over the top rope to get a good look at it.
Faith Savell:
I am The Masterclass.
She dropped the mic and her theme hit before she rolled out of the ring and made her exit up the ramp, having made the statement that she intended to.

Dalek is backstage next to a very confused Robbie Hayden.
Robbie Hayden
Uh, I am backstage with…well…
He looks down at the menacing genocidal trash can.
Robbie Hayden
...do you even have a name?
Dalek:
MY NAME IS DALEK VAN BEEK!
Robbie Hayden
Wait…what? I thought you were Dalek Street?
Dalek:
THIS IS CORRECT! BUT THEN THE HUMAN FLESH CREATURE KNOWN AS KENNEDY STREET BETRAYED THE DALEK EMPIRE! HER BETRAYAL RESULTED IN ME FILING FOR DIVORCE! GRACE VAN BEEK IS NOW MY WIFE!
Robbie Hayden
Ok…does Grace even know that she is now your…ahem…wife?
Dalek:
DOES IT MATTER, HUMAN FLESH CREATURE?
Robbie Hayden
Well it kinda does.
Dalek:
UNDER SKARO LAW I DO NOT NEED TO GIVE NOTIFICATION OF MARRIAGE! YOU ARE NOW MY SECOND WIFE, HUMAN FLESH CREATURE HAYDEN! DO YOU SEE HOW EASY THIS IS?!
Robbie sighs.
Robbie Hayden
Who gave me this assignment? Anyway…why don’t we just cut to the chase and discuss your match tonight?
Dalek:
I WILL EXTERMINATE ANNA DANIELS! I WILL EXTERMINATE NINA! I WILL EXTERMINATE ALL WHO GET BETWEEN ME AND THE MWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! I WILL CLAIM THE MWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE NAME OF THE DALEK EMPIRE AND FOR MY WIFE GRACE VAN BEEK! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!

We then head out to what’s increasingly been a figure standing alone of late in the former world champion Seth Iser. He’s wearing a ghoulish gray variation of his wrestling attire though the brace gleams that familiar black. To go with the muscular physique that’s been getting a little more toned he’s a little tanner then normal considering the vacation. It seems like there’s a calmness in his demeanor a little more so as he’s sitting there in reflection. You can see his face scrunch up briefly as he’s thinking about something for a brief moment before he sees the camera out of the corner of his eye and that facial expression vanishes.
Seth Iser:
You never know what’s in the depths of someone’s mind. I know that from first hand experience. The human psyche is like the vastness of the ocean. Some things are quite gorgeous… photogenic and pleasing to the eye. Then there’s the ugly, vicious parts that can lash out at anyone or anything for survival. And then you get to the depths…the very thing that’s often truly unexplored and…you really don’t know what’s down there until you see it with your own eyes.
There’s a continued calmness as he’s telling this from a sense of knowing…his face having a slight frown in an otherwise relaxed posture with the arms down.
Seth Iser:
One of the fastest ways to start exploring your own depths is when the motivation of revenge starts to creep into your mind. You’ll find terrible things under there…perhaps a monster you never knew that was inside of you…or worse yet, a poison. The kind of poison that can taint you forever. Nothing is more costly…nothing is more sterile than vengeance.
He quotes Winston Churchill with that, the tone being as gruff as you’d expect from Iser with that sneer starting to creep in.
Seth Iser:
It’s played out time and time again. It’s good to chase a target for ambitious reasons sure but when revenge is your primary motivator instead…it just consumes you whole. You’ll end up swallowed in the depths of your own mental ocean…drowning your sorrows while hoping to find a lifeline elsewhere. That’s what happened to one apprentice of mine when she got a case of the sin of Lockhart and hell…that’s also been a motivating factor a lot of the time in one part of this first triple threat tonight.
There’s still this calmness etched in Iser, the man who has seen damn near everything in professional wrestling as he leans back on the chair.
Seth Iser:
Andrew Raynes should be a world champion here, not just a Chicago Way champion. Experience, a willingness to bend or break the rules and a combination of styles that create a dangerous package. You can say his arrogance gets in the way but…I think his thirst for revenge toward people who have wronged him blinds his judgment far more often than he cares to admit. And that’s one of the worst kinds of weaknesses to try to endure when there’s a match with a lot of moving parts like this one. The motivation of trying to get back at Julian Nelson…turns into a poison. I recognize it better than anyone when you consider the shit he pulled on me.
For a brief moment there’s a brief smile that creeps onto his face as he states all of this, the calmness still emanating from the veteran.
Seth Iser:
You don’t want to hear that considering your own roads and experiences. I’ve been there too. But all you end up creating is a cycle of retaliation in the end. Lord knows I’ve had to endure that time and time again…when you give into hatred like that. All revenge…all vengeance ever does is create pain and heartbreak at the end of your road. But I’ll let the actions in the triple threat be the thing that speaks that message through to you more so.
After that there’s a nod of the head from the grizzled veteran of the industry, still maintaining that calm to his demeanor.
Seth Iser:
Then we got the kid who has the opportunity of a lifetime. He has to find a way to beat two veterans and then a second triple threat match to do it. Can he? Stranger things have happened but…sorry to say to the Dean…Dean Smith that is, but he’s just someone who is in the way for me. He could put it together one day but today won’t be that day. Hell you could have me stand across from the pope tonight…and even if I’m trying to teach people a lesson…that’s what they are right now…they’re in the way. I have a drive to get to world title number five…
He holds up the number five and the calmness is starting to dissipate slightly as he stands up to his feet and you get more of a reminder that he’s six foot five. There isn’t a semblance of a limp, he seems fairly healthy, especially by his standards and the adrenaline isn’t even fully flowing yet.
Seth Iser:
Lowri Moss is the current champion…also doing something that’s only ever been done by yours truly and that’s hold the FGA and MWE World championships at the same damn time. Only other person to do that is right here…talking to you right now.
There’s a coldness as he states that…more in line with what you’d expect from him a couple of years ago.
Seth Iser:
I need to be the one that gets through both of these triple threats…and I need to be the one to wrestle her for that championship. I know damn well I can beat her ass in the center of the ring with all the stakes on the line. And it’d be disappointing if I can’t get there…but Pierce…Megan. You two dare to try to get involve and sully this? It won’t help your odds of getting your match with me. Hell, you’d hate the consequences. So as much as you want to try to drag me into your business…you best stay out of mine.
He then pauses for a moment and his face darkens a little further.
Seth Iser:
But I just plan on being the one to get there…and stake my claim for being the man one more time…this is as good of a reminder as any to the entire wrestling world just who in the hell I am. I am Seth Iser! The game’s greatest hunter! And one of the best to ever play our little game…and everyone else…well…let’s see just where you REALLY stand against me. I just know for a damn fact that you approach me with nothing but vengeance or green ambition…it won’t be enough.
With that statement the veteran then walks past the camera and is ready to go to war twice.

Out here in Barcelona excitement is high as the night is jam packed with good action on the way. Including a title defense for Bree Smith who we find backstage with her championship over her shoulder. Standing next to her in the hallways is Gabriel Landy, the recent academy graduate who shared the ring with Bree in Cancun.
Bree Smith:
So what have you been up to in Spain, Dude?
Gabriel Landry:
Soaking in the scenery mainly. How crazy is it that someone my age gets to travel the world like this huh?
Bree Smith:
It happens more than you think. Influencers, athletes, but it's still awesome. Not as awesome as getting to bring the Lockdown Championship to all these places but still pretty awesome!
Bree says tapping her title with a confident chuckle.
Gabriel Landry:
Sounds like a quality problem to have.
Gabe smiles.
Bree Smith:
The best. You get a lot more dudes asking for a comment when you're carrying Millennium gold. Company's got a rich history after all.
Bree then spies in Gabe's back pocket a cap still in the protective film, a Bree hat nonetheless. Bree's first reaction is to give him a light punch on the arm.
Bree Smith:
DUDE you bought my merch?
It’s quite obvious that Gabriel is blushing.
Gabriel Landry:
Is that taboo? Do I come across like a mark? Is it normal to buy each others merch?
The two share a laugh when the moment is ruined by an angry Karen Eldon. Walking around the corner watching the two share a laugh.
Karen Eldon:
Um excuse me? What is going on? You talking to MY man?!
Karen yells at Bree stepping in between Bree and Gabriel.
Bree Smith:
Yes. That's exactly what was happening.
Bree says after she shut her eyes and made a brief "give me strength" face.
Bree Smith:
People talk everyday, Karen.
Karen Eldon:
I am sure you have other motives here Bree. And Gabriel you should stay away from these types of losers. I don't want her lack of talent rubbing off on you.
Karen stands between Bree and Gabriel, sizing up Bree a bit the two having never gotten along. Bree's happy to show her broad shoulders and posture back at Karen. She
Bree Smith:
I don't have any other motives, Karen. Don't be so paranoid. You're ruining my mojo with all your Kareness.
Gabriel can’t help but chuckle a little at Bree’s remark. He catches himself from laughing too much knowing it’ll piss Karen off. The last Gold Star Champion of Season 2 grabs Karen’s hand.
Gabriel Landry:
Seriously, enough of this. I don’t understand. Why do you go out of your way to be mean to people? You’re a former two time tag team champion. You have done more than enough to be considered one of the best in the sport. And I’m a big part of your life. Calling Bree a loser is uncalled for. She’s going to be the longest reigning Lockdown Champion in no time, if you ask me, that doesn’t make her a loser.
Bree smiles at the comment that Gabriel made. Karen rolls her eyes.
Gabriel Landry:
Anyway, you don’t get to dictate who I hang out with, you’re my girl. Not my mom! Even if you were, I would tell her the same thing.
Almost dismissing Gabriel's statement Karen instead only seems to have heard one part of it.
Karen Eldon:
Perhaps I should take that belt off her then…If she doesn't lose it later anyways.
Bree seems ready to remark back but Karen's phone goes off in her purse, turned up way too loud as old folks tend to do. Answering it despite the tension to further show her lack of respect.
Karen Eldon:
Yes Gabriel and I are coming…They are ready for our photoshoot.
Gabriel seems puzzled not having known about any photoshoot. Karen glares at Bree as she takes one last glance at her belt before turning. Gabriel gives a sympathetic look at Bree but follows her anyways exiting as Bree can only help but let out a sigh dealing with Karen.

We cut backstage to JJ Night, who just finished tying up his sneakers. He looked at the camera with that infectious smile of his and waved.
JJ Night:
Hello there! So, it looks like we have a triple threat tag tonight. I get to team with the bae, the boo, the amazing Evelyn Carter. We had a rough go at it our last time teaming but I have a good feeling about tonight.
He grinned and nodded.
JJ Night:
I respect Abby, she got a big win against me and our last match was screwy. Jasper is a good dude too. They’re definitely a formidable team and they have a nice combo of size and speed. But they don’t know each other like Vi and I do. I will say that team Rainer knows each other pretty well but…
He shrugs.
JJ Night:
I still don’t think they have what it takes to take me down. I mean, they have to resort to sneak bullcrap but it’s not going to get them far when they have to stand up in front of me. No more sneak attacks, just a good ol’ fashioned match. And wrestling? It’s what I do best. It’s why I’m the workhorse of MWE, the Junior Heavyweight Champion.
He pointed at the camera.
JJ Night:
Rainer, you’ve called your shot. You’re targeting my championship. But I don’t plan on losing this thing any time soon. So go ahead and try me. Bring everything that you got. But it won’t be enough. Just like tonight won’t be enough. You’re going down and I’m going to show the world why I’m one of the best to do it in Millennium. See you all out there.
The camera catches the Academy Year Two graduate Jasper King.leaning back against a wall. The former Gold Star was crunching a protein bar, already dressed in his black and orange “King Of Pumpkins” singlet. His presence there, near the female locker room area raised a few eyebrows though the young man seemed to be minding his own business, waiting for his tag partner for the night, Abby Blake.
There's a few moments of dead air, couple of seconds at most. Then the door swings open and Abby Blake comes out of the locker room. The blonde Blaker girl's eyes are entirely focused on her phone and replying with her speedy thumbs.
Abby chose a slightly different color scheme for her look. Inspired by Lightyear now on Disney+, she wore the light green and purple look, with her usual pink streak in her hair now a vibrant, hot purple and her makeup matches the look. Jasper ends up calling her out to get her attention.
Abby Blake:
Oh! Hey.
Blake locks her phone and holds it by her side. She shuffled her feet quickly over to Jasper King and greeted her tag partner with a chin up.
Abby Blake:
I ended up watching that movie you recommended. Pretty good in the end.
The camera zoomed out to highlight the height difference between the pair. She was having to look up but felt quite confident in who she had in her corner.
Abby Blake:
I hope you had a good sleep in preparation for tonight.
A bright smile spread across Jasper's face as he looked down at his friend. He quickly swallowed the last piece of bar, awkwardly cleaning his hand on the side of his thigh and looking for somewhere to throw the wrapper. Unable to find one, he decided to keep it in his closed fist.
Jasper King:
Oh yeah, I did thank you. I went to bed like super early, I need to be in top shape for this match. I don't want to make you look bad or stuff. I know how important a win tonight can be for you.
Abby Blake:
It is the end of the summer tour, so a win would be quite nice. It would get your name out there among the main roster as well. No pressure, but my sister and her S.O. are here tonight too - so yeah a win would be nice.
Jasper King:
Oh yeah, no pressure at all…
The big guy said with a nervous chuckle, scratching the top of his head.
Jasper King:
I'm not concerned about me tho. I still have a granted title shot in my pocket for being a Gold Star in the Academy and I'm just waiting for a good time to use it. You instead..
Jas shook his head.
Jasper King:
What happened to you was bull crap. You could be a champion by now but no, stupid Rainman had to stick his nose in your business.. I never liked the guy, I can't wait to punch him in the face.
Abby Blake:
Him.
Abby scoffs. The eye roll followed.
Abby Blake:
He's the human equivalent of a bucket of melted ice-cream, or pizza burn on the roof of your mouth.
She then took a step forward, punching through.
Abby Blake:
It would be nice to get him…right on the honker…
A low chuckle escaped Jasper’s lips. The history between him and Rainer was well known to anybody who watched The Academy. After enduring his “fat jokes” for a year, Jasper was now enjoying seeing someone making fun of Nordhagen.
Jasper King:
He should be thankful that you’ll punch him on the nose, because if I get my hands on him, I’m going to yeet him into the sea. And I hope he can’t swim.
Jas slammed his right fist on the palm of his left hand.
Jasper King:
But as much as I dislike him, I can’t deny that he’s talented. And sneaky. A very dangerous combination…
Abby visibly cringed at that description.
Abby Blake:
Those are the worst kind of people in wrestling. Just the worst.
Jasper King:
And Erika is cut from the same cloth, they really found each other.. It’s so frustrating to see people like them taking advantage and getting ahead of hard working people.. I won’t let this happen to you, not again.
Jasper said like he meant it, determined to give justice to his partner against Rainer.
Abby Blake:
I've been dealing with it a lot, seems to be a path a few people choose; not I though. I'd rather look back at my accomplishments and know I won everything because of my work, or in cases like tonight, solid team work.
That's when Abby threw a fist out. Clenched tightly, with a black fingerless glove covering up most of her hand. Jasper immediately caught the drift and formed a fist with his hand, almost twice the size of Abby’s. He gently bumped it against hers, a wide smile plastered on his face.
Jasper King:
This is the way.
He said in a quite convincing imitation of The Mandalorian.
Jasper King:
Rainer and Erika may have been weaseld their way into this match tonight, but their luck has run out. Tonight we show them that shortcuts can only take you so far. And after we get the win tonight, nobody will be able to deny you your fair shot at JJ’s title.
Abby Blake:
A title I really should have a fair shot at. JJ and I didn't get an end to our story. Let's go prove them wrong, partner.
Jasper King:
LET’S HECKING GO!
He shouted out loudly, his enthusiasm bringing a smile on Abby’s lips as the duo walked toward their match.

We find the imposing figure of “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter stalking his way down the backstage area. He is dressed in black dress pants, black dress shoes, no shirt, and a black trenchcoat. He has the MWE Riot Championship wrapped around his waist. Sunglasses cover his eyes and he is sporting a rather confident grin.
Clyde Sutter:
Time is a servant of no one. We may think we can battle time and if you look at certain celebrities and sports figures, even wrestlers who are still fighting at fifty or sixty years of age, and they may believe that they can conquer time. But they are sadly mistaken and will come to realize that soon enough. Everyone is subservient to time. Time is their master. And myself, I am but time’s EXECUTIONER…executing those who time has deemed it necessary to eliminate from this industry.
He pats the championship belt around his waist.
Clyde Sutter:
The fruits of my labor brought me the Riot Championship. Soon someone will step up and challenge my position but they will fail, just as everyone else has failed, because they do not understand that time is the master of all. I used to be quite the uncontrollable monster, a machine of unstoppable rage. I still have that rage and I still am a monster, but I am in control because that time dictates when all things come to an end. And yes, all things do come to its end.
He removes his sunglasses and places them in a pocket of his trenchcoat.
Clyde Sutter:
Barcelona, I am here tonight perhaps to observe my future competition? Maybe I am here on behalf of my client, Ms. Page? Or perhaps something else is afloat tonight? Maybe time has designated that history will be made due to the ending of a long standing and bitter rivalry?
Just then a familiar face steps into the scene from the right. It happens to be Melinda Braddock, the oldest daughter of Glory Braddock. She is dressed in black leather pants, a black crop top, and black leather jacket. Her brown hair has been dyed a bright orange. She has a smirk on her face.
Melinda Braddock:
I have a vision, darling. A beautiful vision.
Sutter and Melinda meet and lock lips in a passionate kiss.
Clyde Sutter:
Times are changing. Time has designated that this should take place. Keep an eye out, ladies and gentlemen, because this may not be the last you have seen of me. Tick, tock…tick, tock…
We cut backstage to Walker at catering. He's wearing a purple shirt with white overalls on over it, some air Jordan’s and sunglasses.
WALKER:
AYOOOOOO! Catering is fire! We didn’t get good shit like this in the academy!
He pulled out a brown paper bag and just started to stuff food in it, as much as he could.
WALKER:
Gonna need this shit for later.
A worker comes by and is upset that Walker took the rest of the tacos.
WALKER:
Fuck outta here! These are my tacos! I ain’t sharing with you and I ain’t sharing with that weird muscular looking chick, Faizah, either.
He got rid of the person before eating a taco and then speaking with his mouth full.
WALKER:
Speaking of Laizah or whatever… This dumb bitch thinks I’m just gonna be a walk in the park cuz my name is Walker. But nah, I’m like a Skywalker! Like Anakin though, not that sissy Luke. I’m gonna make this shit my empire and I’m gonna start it off by walkin’ on clouds and being the Cloud Gate Champion. It’s my destiny or some shit like that.
He ate another taco before washing it down with a Monster energy drink, but it was a low carb one, I promise.
WALKER:
Anywayz! It’s time for ya’ll to see what I can do on the big stage. Win or loss, though I’m gonna win, I swear, no way I lose, but yeah, whatever the outcome might be? Ya’ll will see that I’m legit. Like, too legit to quit. Can’t stop or be stopped. Or I just won’t stop. Fuck it. See you out there, Faizy maizy lazy. We got the Marshall versus the Walker Texas Ranger. And let’s keep it real, ain’t nobody fuckin’ with Chuck Norris. Yippie ki yay, motherfucker!
Someone in the background tells him that’s the wrong actor.
WALKER:
No shit! I’ve got the Sixth Sense. I know everything. I’m out!
Walker walked out of the frame and the scene cut away.

We see Alex Andrews sitting on the trunk of her rental car. She is just sitting here hunched over, hands pressed together, tapping her thumbs together.
Alex Andrews:
You're a pitbull, aren't you, Darcy? A fireball full of rage and violence. I know. I've been in the ring with you before. And what? You thought you'd come to MWE, and try to make a name for yourself off my hide, is that it?
Alex shakes her head back and forth, pulling her hair back to expose her face to the camera.
Alex Andrews:
I spent the last two years of my life clawing and scratching in Millennium Wrestling Enterprise. I've had to get beaten down numerous times, more than I care to admit. But still I rise.
She laughs to herself.
Alex Andrews:
Someone had to administrate rough love. And still I rise.
A smile flickers across her lips.
Alex Andrews:
I've had to fight some of the very best this company has to offer. And that never made me waiver from my goal to being one of the very best as well. You won't either, Darcy. I know you're one intense tough spitfire. And you're good, but if our experiences in the past haven't proven it to you yet, my will to win is just that much stronger than yours.
Alex licks her lips.
Alex Andrews:
I know you hold a grudge against me and I get why. I denied you an opportunity at some top good and then I denied you the retribution you thought you deserved. So you want me in the worst way. Guess what? This isn't some fairy tale, I learned that the hard way. Things don't always go the way you want them. But if this is how you want things, girl? I'm game. You want two out of three falls? Cool. Just means more chances for me to out wrestle you once again. You put your hands on me, thinking it'd give you some psychological advantage, right? Guess what, all it did was piss me off.
She nods as she finishes up, pushing herself from the trunk of the car.
Alex Andrews:
See you in the ring, Darcy.

“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page and Duke Andrews are in their Suite at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain that is looking over the Mediterranean Sea. Duke is on the phone with Alan Envy as Tiffany is sitting on the couch looking out the window at the Mediterranean Sea.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
While the inferiors are at Mar Bella Beach beating the shit out of each other, Duke and I figured why not go to Barcelona anyway to get a vacation in. Of course Alan is making sure that Duke brings home some suits to up his wardrobe. Which I am not mad at but I shall digress. While Duke and I have got to rest and relax we’ve got to reassess things. Obviously Duke has his eyes on Lowri Moss and reclaiming the World Heavyweight Championship. While I ventured off into the tag team division for awhile I have also had to deal with my troll from the trailer parks, Karen Eldon, my sights have never deviated from what I want. The MWE Jr. Heavyweight Championship.
Tiffany smiles.
“Too Sexy” Tiffany Lynn Page:
Now I know I have that pimple on the ass of MWE to deal with. The trailer park troll of Karen but she is too much of a scared bitch to actually step into the ring with me. Which isn’t surprising but she dared me to get my revenge. Be careful what you wish for Karen because rest assured I will get you. Then once I finally dispose the MWE of you I will get back to taking everything I could possibly want whenever I want.

We open to find Summer Collins and Jessica Lasiewicz. The two absolutely Fabulous young ladies are already dressed in their ring gear. The Archangel looks intensely focused and by contrast her tag team partner and best friend Summer Collins looks rather confident with a smug grin on her face, whereas Jessica is sporting a stoic gaze. Both of these ladies are also sporting extra sets of hardware: Jessica has the GCW World Tag Team Championship belt resting over her right shoulder and the GCW Global Tag Team Championship belt resting over her left shoulder. Summer has both of her undisputed GCW tag team belts wrapped around her waist. Standing in between the two ladies is their marketing guru, The Most Loved Man On The Planet, The Emperor of Entrepreneurship, Captain Capitalism, Master Media Mogul, Saint Levi, Your Righteous Savior, The Titan of Twitter, The Sultan of Social Media, The Nova Wonder Killer, The Maharaja of Marketing, The Franciscan Friar of Flash…Leviticus.
Leviticus:
Ladies and gentlemen of Barcelona, and all of the wonderful viewers watching at home, you are privileged to get to witness the single greatest tag team in professional wrestling ply their craft, you are honored to be graced with their gorgeously beautiful presence. After weeks and weeks and even more weeks of being on the sidelines they are returning to an MWE ring. I am The Most Loved Man on the Planet, The Maharajah of Marketing Leviticus, and I am proud to introduce the NEWLY CROWNED Undisputed GCW Tag Team Champions, Jessica Lasiewicz and Summer Collins, and they are…
Summer and Jesica:
...absolutely Fabulous!
Captain Capitalism steps to the side. Summer Collins steps forward.
Summer Collins:
“Thank you, Levi. You’re right, Fabulous has been on the sidelines lately. You can blame that on MWE management. Whilst all of these other undeserving and unworthy losers were receiving tag title shots galore against Karen and Olly, the most obvious and most deserving team…that’s Jess and I, by the way…was being overlooked. That enough was a slap in the face to everything we have done for tag team wrestling and MWE, but then we see a team like Bad and Boujee, who are outright and unapologetic cheaters, won the tag team titles. Now I get it, Karen and Olly aren’t exactly the most popular of people. We have certainly had our issues with them in the past. I can understand why it would be ok and even cheered when K2O is cheated out of a victory. But your reigning champions cheated to defeat us the one time we did face each other. And the MWE fans and management were ok with that. Now that was the ultimate sign of disrespect. If outright cheating is going to be justified simply based on fan reaction now, then we’re throwing all ethics and morality out the window. Hence our change of attitude. And look at what change in attitude has netted us…
She pats the title belts around her waist.
Summer Collins:
...did we open a few eye? Did we make you sit up and take notice? I hope you did because we are deadly serious about retaking our top spot in professional wrestling. And we were damn sure not going to show up to an MWE event until we were given a match worthy of our greatness. Teaming with the MWE World Champion to face the MWE World Tag Team Champions is a nice start. We could do without the washed up has-been trying to ride off of his old reputation. But hey, this is a nice start.
Jessica Lasiewicz
CCJ is an unapologetic cheater, teaming with another set of unapologetic cheaters. It is a marriage made in heaven. You three clowns deserve one another and you certainly deserve the ass kicking you are going to get here tonight. Constantine will regret ever coming back. If I have my way, I will snap his damn leg in half. As for the tag champs, we are going to outclass them, humiliate them, and beat them. We will beat them so badly that MWE will have no choice but to give us the tag team title match we deserve. After all, we are ALREADY the superior tag team champions, we are going to prove tonight that we ARE the superior tag team, and then we will take the MWE World Tag Team Championship.
Leviticus:
And to our world champion Lowri Moss, we are grateful to have a champion of your stature on our team. Later tonight after we are victorious maybe we can do business? I can see a beautiful vision…Lowri Moss: The Movie! Lowri Moss: The Video Game! Just being around the super stardom of Fabulous will easily make you a megastar, babe. Trust The Emperor of Entrepreneurship, teaming with Fabulous is the best thing that could have happened to you.

Megan Manning was backstage with a grin on her face, running her hand over a steel door.
Megan Manning:
Oh Tiff… You’re stuck with Pierce and I, locked in a cage like the fucking rat that you are. And there’s no escape, no where for you to go. All you have to look forward to is getting decimated and destroyed. Seems like Lucie couldn’t have daddy by the company in enough time for you, huh?
Meg cackled as she continued on.
Megan Manning:
You disgust me, you know that? You claim to be a good person, someone who is worthy of everyone’s time but all I see you doing is going for shortcuts. You don’t belong here. You don’t belong in the company that I built! You’re fucking weak!!!
Megan shoved the steel door down and pointed at the camera.
Megan Manning:
I can’t wait to rub your skin against the cage and rip you apart, like cheese against a grater. I want to see you bleed. I want to see you in pieces.
A sinister grin ran across her lips.
Megan Manning:
I want to make you pay for all of your lies and sins. And most of all? I want to continue to expose you for the fake person that you are. Some say that I’m a monster but the real monster is you. And Pierce and I are going to end your reign of terror. And maybe we’ll focus on the rest of your family after that, hmm?
She cackled again as she walked off.
Megan Manning:
As if. You’re already enough of a waste of time.
She then disappeared.
We cut to the backstage area, in an isolated corridor, we see the Five Foot Death Kicker herself, Tiff, sitting intently on one of the metal crates. She seems to be deep in thought before she notices the camera pointing at her. After her first glance, she tilts her head down and shakes it, clearly showing her frustration. After an awkward silence, she begins to speak.
Tiff:
You shouldn’t have found me…
She tilts her head back up and looks away, as if she’s trying to hide her face from the camera.
Tiff:
I’m about to fight for my fucking life, and you wanna stick a camera in my face now?
She drops off the crate and stands up. She shakes her arms, both as a warm-up and as a way to shake away the nerves.
Tiff:
So what is it?
After a long sigh as she looks down at the ground, she stops warming up on the spot. She then finally turns to face the camera, revealing the tears in her eyes.
Tiff:
What do you want me to say? You want me to tell you how well I’m doing? How am I coping with all this? With everything going on? To have such a demented psycho have total control over your career? To be a part of this summer tour, only for that psycho to stop you from having matches, until she finally decides to put you in a match that could end that career? I don’t know what you want me to say, but now is not the time…
She briefly paces down the corridor, clearly frustrated, and kicks the crate on her way back to face the camera.
Tiff:
MWE has been my home for the last 4 years now. I was the Cloud Gate champion for at least 1 of those years. I spent another 1 of those years retraining myself at the Academy, because after I thought my career was over, if there was 1 place I wanted to wrestle again, I knew it would be here. I lived to be a part of MWE. And now that’s all been taken away. And the worst part about it? I only have myself to blame…
Another pause, this time so Tiff could wipe some of the tears away.
Tiff:
I risked everything to save Trinity. And with everything going on now, with my sister going to war with Nine and her cult, I want nothing more than to be a part of her, to fight side by side with my sister, I can’t. I’m just a casualty of that war, and now I’m living my own personal hell. All thanks to Faizah Marshall…
Just the mere mention of her name clearly shows a glimmer of disgust on her face.
Tiff:
Faizah. When Nine handed you my contract, you went out of your way to make my life a living hell. And you have. But why? Apparently I broke your heart. You were such a big fan of mine, training with me at the Academy was a dream come true for you, you wanted to be the one to make Faith Savell pay for everything she did to me. But then we went our separate ways. You think I care more about Trinity than you? You think I didn’t give you enough attention? What did you say? Never meet your heroes?
That last question made Tiff scoff, not just at the question, but in a desperate attempt hold back any more tears.
Tiff:
Like I said. I only have myself to blame. I thought I made this clear a long time ago. I ain’t a hero. I went to the Academy a broken mess. I had completely abandoned wrestling, I had no intention of coming back, so when I did come back, I had to start from scratch. I was a goldfish in a tank full of sharks. But being in the tank was what helped me get back to where I am today. You were one of those sharks Faizah. Seeing all that hunger, all that potential, I knew you were gonna be something special. You were already a million times better than I was when I first started training. If anything Faiz, I looked up to you…
The instant look of disgrace on her face gave the impression that Tiff immediately regrets that last statement.
Tiff:
You know? There would have been a time when I would have apologized to you Faiz. For everything that’s happened. I would have said sorry for not being there when you needed my support. If I were in a better place, I would have even offered to be your friend. But now? After everything with Clyde, after everything with Trinity, and after everything that you’ve done with my contract, that’s never gonna happen. Trin never poisoned my mind Faiz. You just showed your true colors. It doesn’t matter how you try to spin this around, but just remember, I would have helped you if I could. I would have been your friend. I would have tried to make amends for everything that you’re upset about me for. But no. Not now. You had the chance to give my contract back. You had the chance to do the right thing. But no. You decided to make me your own personal toy. This was your choice. You did this. You. No one else.
She stares directly into the camera as her tears switched to a face of fury.
Tiff:
I never intended to break your heart Faizah. But you’ve been trying to break mine ever since you got your hands on my contract. And now? After failing to break my heart, what do you do? You try to break everything else. You’re forcing me to walk into the lion’s den. You put me in a steel cage in a handicap match with the Mannings, knowing full well what my history with Megan is. Seriously Faiz, if you wanted to end my career, you should just tear my contract up right now. But I know that’s too simple. You want to make me suffer. And you think that I will suffer tonight…
The staredown with the camera continues.
Tiff:
If you think I won’t go down without a fight, then you were never a real fan of mine. Megan. I know you want nothing more than to end my career. Pierce. I know you’ll do anything your wife tells you to, even if it means ending my career. One way or another, if this ends up being my last match here in MWE, or even if it ends up being my last match ever, then I will fight like my entire life is on the line. Despite everything that’s happened, MWE is still my home, and I ain’t about to let the Mannings kick me out of it. And Faizah. If and when I walk out of that cage, contract or not, I’m coming after you next.
With that said, she storms off camera, ready for the fight of her life.

Steel Cage
Tiff VS The Mannings
WINNER: The Mannings BY: Pinfall (Beautiful Disaster), 13:44 |
After the utter mess that was the 2 on 1 steel cage match, Faizah Marshall went back to her locker room. Closing the door behind her and leaving TD Batterson outside just in case Kimberly Williams decided to come for her again, the leader of Planet Faizah could finally enjoy a moment of quiet and plot the next step of her personal vendetta against Tiff, alone in her private locker room.
Or was she?
Don't say a word.
Trinity Thompson was sitting there, still all bandaged up after her brutal match against Valkyrie. She still had that baseball bat in her hand, painted in red with the blood of the Chicago Way Champion. And she pointed it to Faizah. Slowly, and with a grimace of pain painted on her face, she stood up and took a step toward the Cloud Gate champion.
Trinity Thompson: Bet you thought you'd see me out there to help my sister.. I would have been there, I should… But the doctor took so damn long to patch me up.
Twirling the bat in her hand, she walked closer.
Trinity Thompson: But I'm here now, and we're going to have a conversation. That good for you?
She pointed the bat to Faizah's chest and pushed her down onto the chair. Faizah was visibly shaken at the sight of a bandaged up Trinity pressing the baseball bat against her chest.
Faizah Marshall: Trin... please... thi-- think about this. Anything happens to me, TD is outside that door. You won’t make it out of here in one piece, please, think this through, put the bat down and I’ll consider letting you walk out of here under your own power.
Trinity let out a somewhat sinister chuckle.
Trinity Thompson: Look at me, Faizah.. Do you think that, at this point, I care about getting roughed up by your bodyguard?
Faizah looks into Trinity’s eyes. She knows she’s serious about the statement she made, fighting through her own nervousness, Faizah manages to blurt out.
Faizah Marshall: You may be on a suicide mission but your sister would care. Tiana would care too. Do you want them to visit you in a hospital room? Look, we can talk, please, put the bat down. This doesn’t have to end this way.
Trinity took a long moment, letting Faizah's word sink in. Finally, she let out a sigh and put the bat down. Faizah breathes a sigh of relief.
Trinity Thompson: Believe me, it's so tempting to just bash your head.. But you'll likely take it out on Tiff, and that's the last thing I want.
She looked straight in the Cloud Gate champion's eyes.
Trinity Thompson: Let her go. They could have ended her career tonight, stop this madness before someone gets hurt.
Those last words sounded vaguely threatening. Faizah takes a moment to process what Trinity has to say. The Cloud Gate Champion cautiously rises to a standing position. She now looks down cautiously at her much shorter rival.
Faizah Marshall: I wish I could. I love your sister. Now I know it doesn’t seem that way. Love and hate are two sides of the same coin right?. Only because I am hurting at the depths of my being that I have to see this through. All I want is for your sister to understand how much I’m in pain. She doesn’t get it, no one does. I’m exhausted, Trinity. I want this to end as much as you. This is the only way I can think of.
Her words didn't get the outcome she was hoping for. If anything, they pissed off Trinity even more. She clenched her free hand in a fist, tightening the grip around the bat.
Trinity Thompson: The only way you can think of is trying to break her body and spirit? Say it again out loud, I’m sure you’ll see how fucked up it his… If you really want this to end, just end it. You’re the only one who can. Talk to a shrink, or whatever else you need to do but find another way to cope with this. Because hurting my sister ain’t it.
The tone of her voice raised, to the point that it got to the ears of TD Batterson. The door swung open and the massive bodyguard entered the room. He didn’t take action tho, he stood there watching the two girls, ready to step in if things went south.
Trinity Thompson: She never did anything to you. If you want to know, I lost count of how many times she told me to back down, that you weren’t as bad as I always knew you were. Just fucking stop, she doesn’t deserve this.
Faizah looks at TD momentarily. She shakes her head, signaling she doesn’t want him to make a move. TD nods. She returns her attention back to Trinity.
Faizah Marshall: Fine Trinity... I’ll stop. Want me to set your sister free so bad, you got it. Under one condition though. There is one thing I want slightly more than forcing your sister to understand the error of her ways.
She raises her hand to point at Trinity.
Faizah Marshall: ... you.
Trinity is caught off guard by what Faizah just said, not quite understanding what Faizah meant by what she blurted out. Before Trinity could respond, Faizah continued.
Faizah Marshall: Confused? I get it. I’m sure you noticed by now I did subscribe to your OnlyFans. I felt dirty about it at first; objectively speaking, you’re hot. I can’t deny that. The content is top notch. Anyway, if I am going to let your sister go, there needs to be something in it for me. So how about you tell Tiana to not wait up. Come to my hotel room. Make me the happiest woman on the face of the planet. And I promise I’ll set your sister free. You. Me. Tiff. We all get what we want.
Faizah licks her lips.
Faizah Marshall: Only one night. Not like I’m asking for your hand in marriage.
There was a mix of expressions on Trinity’s face. Anger, of course, that had been present ever since she appeared in Faizah’s locker room. Surprise, for the unexpected turn of events and, that was a new one, embarrassment. She stared at Faizah without speaking, her right hand dropping the bat on the floor with a thud.
Trinity Thompson: You’re.. I…
She choked on the words, unsure how to reply to the proposal. And in the end, she didn’t, storming out of the locker room without saying a word, and with a lot of thoughts going through her head.
The normally stoic TD Batterson facial expression showed even he was shocked by the proposal Faizah put on the table. In the end he left the room to reassume his post to ensure no one else bothered Faizah.
As for the Cloud Gate Champion herself, she looked at the baseball bat Trinity left behind, breathing a sigh of relief she wasn’t going to take a trip to the hospital room. Sitting down on the chair Trinity forced her to sit on earlier, she appears to be processing everything that happened as the scene fades.
Pre-recorded…
It is a bright and beautiful day to be outside in Barcelona. That is where Glory Braddock finds herself, sitting on a chair on a patio overlooking sea. The British Bombshell is dressed in a black lace a-line a-line princess silhouette long sleeve dress with a hemline that stops just above the knee. She is perched atop black high heeled sandals. Her long blonde hair is pulled into a bun in the back. Sunglasses cover her eyes. A confident grin is plastered across her lovely face.
Glory Braddock:
This has been one hell of a ride, hasn’t it? First I had to deal with Valkyrie…one tough, badass, bitch with a bit of a chip on her shoulder. I can appreciate that. I admit, I have a bit of a chip on my shoulder myself. I have been consistently putting forth the very best matches against the very best talents this company has to offer. I have fought the good fight and I have tried to uphold the principles of what professional wrestling should be about. Hell, the only reason I started The Glorious Golden Era in the first place was to try and fight for the traditions and integrity of professional wrestling. Neil Newman and Kyle Butler were there with me in the beginning, they believed in my vision and they were willing to fight for that vision. Eventually Sophie O’Brian, my best friend since childhood, joined me in my fight for this vision. But now where are they? Neil and Kyle could not fight any longer. They gave up on the vision. They are gone. Only Sophie remained and for awhile I continued to fight the good fight with just Sophie.
She shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
Now I didn’t used to be one to take a shortcut. But still, the power of the briefcase would give me the ability to make REAL change for the better. And when I advanced in the tournament past Valkyrie, I began to think that maybe this could happen, that maybe I could institute real change. I felt that I could use the briefcase for good. But as the tournament progressed…as I defeated Melissa Reeves and then Raze, finally making it to the finals here tonight…I got to thinking that maybe Neil and Kyle saw something that I didn’t? Maybe that MWE is just too far gone to be saved? Let’s look at the current state of MWE. We aren’t supposed to celebrate cheaters but we are currently celebrating that K2O were CHEATED out of the tag titles. Karen and Olly are no saints, quite honestly they deserve an ass kicking, but if you are gonna speak all high and mighty like about playing by the rules then you should punish Bad and Boujee just like you punished K2O. Or is fairness too much to ask? And in what reality do we live in where an egomaniac like Faizah Marshall can literally OWN another human being?! Use the damn semantics all you bloody like and say that she just owns Tiff’s contract, but I’ll call a spade a spade. She owns another human being and MWE is letting it happen. And we can’t forget Julian Savell and The Uncalled Four. He has to have a gang to help him get to where he is today. I have yet to utilize any underhanded tactics. Even when I had Glorious Golden Era they were jus there to back me up in case someone like a Savell tried to use the numbers game, I would have the GGE to even the odds. In Cancun, that’s the only purpose Sophie served at ringside. She kept Savell’s minions at bay to keep it fair between myself and his big bitch Raze. And I am under no impression that this time will be any different. I fully expect Julian to have his henchmen back him up. Because that’s the same tired old song and dance that always happens in MWE isn’t it? Whether it’s APE, The Triumvirate, or now The Uncalled Four, there’s always some saturday morning cartoon villain with dumbass henchmen protecting him and helping him win week in and week out.
Braddock takes off her sunglasses and places them on the arm of the chair.
Glory Braddock:
And I am sick and damn tired of it. I am sick and tired of trying to do what is right and not making a difference. I realize now that I cannot make a difference. The only way I can truly make a difference is the same way everyone else has before me…by forcing the change down your throats. This briefcase DOES mean true change, it also means power and I will use that power to mold MWE into my Glorious image. Because ladies and gentlemen, we are now one step away from the dawning of a new era, The Glorious Era, and all I have to do to make that a reality is get past Julian Savell.
The British Bombshell chuckles.
Glory Braddock:
You think you’re special because you have an army? Here’s a secret, you dumb twat…you aren’t the only one with an army. Sun Tzu says, ‘keep your friends close but your enemies closer.’ I DO have an army of my own and I don’t mean Sophie O’Brian although she is my closest friend and the person most loyal to me. So yeah, you can probably guess that if push comes to serve then she will be there by my side. But the other members of my army? Well, let’s just say there are others who support me in my endeavor, whether it is because they agree with my cause or maybe it’s just because they hate your damn guts and want to stick it to you. Either way, I have an army at my back. So your little Uncalled Four can kiss my gorgeous ass. They won’t mean a damn thing tonight. Tonight you’re going to have to beat me straight up and quite honestly I don’t think you can do it. And I know your chosen fall…falls count anywhere. Funny thing is, despite being a technical and submission marvel, I am actually pretty damn good in falls count anywhere. I have a damn good record in falls count anywhere matches. So thanks for choosing a fall that actually benefits me you dumb bastad. Now as for the other fall, the one I get to pick?
She chuckles.
Glory Braddock:
I kept that one a secret for good reason. Sun Tzu says, ‘Foreknowledge cannot be gotten from ghosts and spirits, cannot be had by analogy, cannot be found out by calculation. It must be obtained from people, people who know the conditions of the enemy.’ It’s called strategy, mate. Did you really think I would let you know my pick in advance so that you could prepare? No. I made you wait until tonight, the day of, to find out my stipulation. You probably prepared for submissions, thinking that I went that route. That’s too obvious, isn’t it, mate? Instead, I went with Pure Rules. If you recall, at By Any Means I defeated Henri Black in a Pure Rules Match to become the MWE Riot Champion. I know how to win Pure Rules. Plus it is right in my wheelhouse in what I hold nearest and dearest to my heart…PURE WRESTLING!
She holds up two fingers and then a third.
Glory Braddock:
I plan to beat your ass two straight falls. But hell, if it goes to a third then like I said, you bring your army. It isn’t like I don’t already know you will pick The Uncalled Four. So bring them out. It is then that you and everyone else watching will get a sample of MY army, the army that will assist me in winning the briefcase and gaining the power, the power that should have been mine all along. Because let’s face facts, when it comes to professional wrestling there isn’t a damn person on this roster that can lace up my boots! And NO ONE knows this business and what is best for it better than me! When I win the briefcase I will use it to usher in my vision, a vision I call The Glorious Era. Because I am sick and damn tired of coming up short, I am sick and damn tired of playing by the rules only to be denied by those who refuse. Tonight I will do whatever it takes to win. And then when I have the briefcase I get to MAKE THE RULES! And then when I determine that it is necessary, when I decide that the time is right, I will become the MWE World Champion.
Braddock shakes her head.
Glory Braddock:
No more Sic Semper Tyrannis…no more thus always to tyrants…stating tonight I BECOME THE DAMN TYRANT! I EMBRACE THE TYRANNY! I WILL BRING ABOUT THE GLORIOUS ERA AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME!

Coming back from a coffee break, the Millennium General Manager Elsa McCarthy was heading back to her office. The bright smile that short break put on her face quickly faded as she opened the door and saw Lucie Callaway sitting behind her desk.
Never one to seek conflict with the roster and not wanting to spoil the radiant mood she was in, Elsa opted for a calm and diplomatic approach toward the intrusion.
Elsa McCarthy:
I believe you should be sitting on the other side of the table, Lucie. Anyway, how can I help you?
Lucie smiled sweetly, slowly putting first one booted foot and then the other up on the desk, crossing her ankles delicately. She was dressed in head to toe XCVII, the clothing line that she just recently reopened after a hiatus for rebranding after she’d bought it out from it’s previous owners.
Lucie Callaway:
No, I’m on the right side of the desk, Ms. McCarthy. How can I help you since you’ve barged into my office without even knocking like this.
She gestures vaguely towards the door which had once held a placard declaring it Elsa’s office but was now crossed out in the same shade of red as Lucie’s lipstick and Lucie Callaway written above it.
For a brief moment, Elsa looked lost, not quite getting what Lucie was talking about. But soon it hit her.
Elsa McCarthy:
Don't you think it's all a bit premature? As far as I know, and trust me I know enough, the negotiation is still ongoing.
Being Grace van Beek's personal assistant Elsa was definitely up to speed with Lucie's father's attempt at buying MWE.
Elsa McCarthy:
I understand you may be eager to take my spot and run Millennium, and if that happens to be the case, I will be more than happy to step down and help you through the transition. But for now,
Lucie smirked.
Lucie Callaway:
And Grace is dragging this out like she hates money. We’ve offered way more than this company is valued at. It would be stupid not to sell at this point.
She snatched up her phone, opening it with a glance and proceeding to pull up Tiktok. “IT’S CORN!” starts to play as the video begins.
Lucie Callaway:
So anyway. I decided to go ahead and just move things along. Cool? Cool. Can you go grab me an iced coffee though? That would be awesome, thanks!
She turns her attention back to the video playing. “IT’S GOT THE JUICE!”
Elsa rolled her eyes, clearly not a fan of Lucie’s attitude. Still, she asked her personal assistant to bring an iced coffee for the former Chicago Way champion. And a glass of water to go with her tablet for the incoming headache.
Elsa McCarthy:
Neither of us is in a position to comment on the state of the negotiation, although it’s no secret that Miss van Beek is seriously considering your father’s offer. I could write down a list of names of people who approached her in the past to buy the company, and she bounced them unceremoniously. The mere fact that she’s still taking the proposal into consideration is quite telling.
The door swung open and in came Elsa’s Personal Assistant bringing the iced coffee and glass of water to the two women. She stopped on the threshold, surprised to see Callaway sitting where she was expecting to see Elsa. The GM motioned to come in and rest the coffee on the table. After dismissing the secretary, McCarthy sat down in front of Lucie.
Elsa McCarthy:
Anyway, is this where you see yourself if the deal comes through? Sitting in an office and running day-by-day operations?
Lucie finally pulled her feet off of the desk and leaned forward, sucking the straw into her mouth for a big swig of her iced coffee as she decided how to respond.
Lucie Callaway:
The truth? Fuck no. I have absolutely no idea how to run a wrestling company. My dad though? He knows everything about it. So I’ll let him decide how he wants to handle the business side.
She took another sip of her coffee.
Lucie Callaway:
But if this is what it takes to make sure that I’m in a position to grind my heel down on Faith Savell’s neck I’m going to do it. Because I can.
Elsa just stared at Lucie for a few seconds. No doubt in her mind she was serious about wanting to finish what she started with Faith, despite the Masterclass’ intention to move on and leave this all behind.
Elsa McCarthy:
Using your position of privilege to pursue your personal interests, whether it’s revenge or a title, would still expose you and your father to some fierce criticism, I hope you are ready to deal with the backlash.
There’s no malice in her tone, neither is she trying to lecture or discourage Lucie. Elsa was simply presenting the facts, almost warning the young wrestler about the snares she may encounter in the future.
Lucie held her gaze for a few moments, deadly silent.
Lucie Callaway:
I have bled for this place. I have put years of my life into this place. My fucking last name alone has sold tickets. The fact that my sister or brother in law might be in the audience sells tickets. But none of that matters, does it? None of it has ever mattered. I’ve tried to be nice. I’ve tried to get along with everyone. But all that ever got me was people taking advantage of my naivety. People took advantage of my kindness because to them it was the same thing as weakness.
Another long, poignant pause. Lucie’s expression is cold.
Lucie Callaway:
And I’m fucking tired. I’m exhausted. I’m tired of being nice and getting spit on. I’m tired of being the only one not in on the joke. I’m tired of being the joke. So do you know what I think about people talking shit about what I do or don’t do with a company that I’m buying for the sole fucking purpose of running into the ground and then offloading to become a distant memory?
She leans back in the chair again, propping her booted feet back up on the desk and gives Elsa the middle finger with both hands.
Lucie Callaway:
Get the fuck out of my office.
The self-proclaimed Master of Puppets appears on the screen in black and white. He has a fur coat over his ring gear and a crown of thorns on his head. He started to cackle before he began to speak.
Julian Savell:
Glory Braddock… I know all about you. You’ve been in this game for a long time. Well over a decade and you have achieved success everywhere that you’ve been. Even winning the Riot Championship and having a long reign here with it. Now you have larger aspirations. You want that briefcase. But here’s the thing…
He pulled down the mask from his face and we could see the deranged look on him.
Julian Savell:
I want it too. And I’ll hurt whoever gets in my way… Really, really bad. So, I’m warning you now, Glory, you do not want to deal with me out there. Three Stages of Hell? I only need one stage to destroy you. To make you bleed and suffer.
Julian moves over to the side and sitting there on a little table is a chess board. He takes a knight and takes out the queen and its checkmate.
Julian Savell:
You see Glory, that’s you getting taken out. And me? Well, I’m the king on this board. I am untouchable, unkillable. Do you see all of the pieces surrounding me? They are here to protect me. Here to make sure that my cause, my battle, my war… is completed to perfection. The Uncalled Four? It’s the beginning of the end for you and everyone else. So, I’m here to tell you to do what I’ve been telling everyone else to do…
He laughed maniacally as he made his way to the camera before he was face to face with it.
Julian Savell:
RUN!
The screen cut to black.
