MWE Presents: Bound For Greatness (night 2) Live from Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI Sunday. May 15th, 2022
[Pre-Recorded]
Andrew wasn’t interested in filming anything inside the arena, he wanted someplace that was more inviting, given the circumstances of his big match at Bound for Greatness. We find ourselves along 8 mile road in Detroit. It wasn’t an unfamiliar place for Andrew as his best friend, Dustin Adams, was from Detroit and the area itself so he often came along this area. He really wanted to put himself in the right mindframe going into his last man standing match against Julien Savell, the biggest bitch in MWE, next to Olly. The last 5 months have been a continued evolution for Andrew, which is now veering its head towards some of the bigger names around here looking to either get a piece (Julian) or avoid it altogether (Kenzie) and Andrew was living for it. KNowing that after everything Andrew had done to provoke Julian had finally forced the little bitch to act has only enticed Andrew to prepare himself for what's coming.
It was dark, Andrew wanted an evening setting to really set the tone for what he had to say, it was also going to help set the tone for Night 2, knowing they were likely to open the show and have the time to really send a message to anyone who thinks that Andrew isn't as dangerous or as true to his word as he claims to be. Most of the people in MWE really had no idea just who Andrew Raynes really was and this was going to be the true coming out party for him.
Andrew Raynes: If you really wanted me to stay out of your way, Julian, you should have never bothered challenging me in the first place!
Except now you’ve decided that me making a mockery of your “wasted time” has offended you so badly that you think you can just walk into this match you’ve deemed “meaningless” and expect to become Chicago Way Champion? You honestly have no idea who you picked a fight with.
I enjoyed mocking you, Julian, when you tapped like a bitch cause you didn't want to bother trying to put up a fight, much like when you drilled a chair into my leg because you knew you couldn't actually beat me. You tried walking away because you “wanted something better” but didn't want to put the work in to prove it, because you couldn’t.
Andrew chuckles, his presence in MWE has been downplayed so much that he knows what he’ll unleash at bound for Greatness will turn heads and open eyes past the point of no return.
Andrew Raynes: That’s just it though, you among many others around here think you’re entitled to “something better” because of who you think you are, like you think someone like me, just because I carry the Chicago Way Championship is demeaning to your little ego. It’s pathetic how you think you can just quit a match because you wanna “save yourself” but in reality, you need to fight for your place to remain relevant. I walked into this company and chose to manifest my hate further, to bring more than the past to assert my place. People like you, Kenzie and the Mannings think that you are only entitled to fight for the world title or a main event spot, otherwise it's beneath you. It’s funny to watch you guys cry, piss and moan that you’re not where you think you should be instead of simply going out there and proving why you should. We all know it's because you're terrified to lose and what it'll do to your poor, fragile, ego. That's why I enjoy being who I am now in this business because i dont give a damn about where my place is. I determine what path I walk and I don't care about your place because I am the pinnacle of evolution. This last man standing match will further my resolve. You think you can really just show up and take this title from me? You think you can actually put effort into something you’ve deemed meaningless time and time again? You'll learn that I am not just anybody, Julian. You challenge me, fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding, until it's too late.
Andrew pauses for a second, taking in the atmosphere and gathering his thoughts. His confidence level increases as he follows through.
Andrew Raynes: You won't see that though, not yet at least, not when you felt confident after finally getting a match you finally deemed worthy of your attention. You felt good enough you could beat Billy that you decided that you'd take your shot and come challenge me simply because you believed you could easily take it away from me.
I knew you were being driven by your ego though, you wanted to put me in my place for mocking you and bruising your ego then. After finally having your attention, I decided to make sure I had your full attention as I saw fit.
It's why I responded by knocking your fucking heart out with my knee.
Watching you lose your shit, then getting embarrassed by Billy, after you oozed that meaningless confidence of yours I knew would spike your ego even further. I knew it would become your driving force to try taking this belt from me even though you claim it means nothing to you, it does.
Your ego won't allow you to lose, to avenge my mockery, rebekkah and your loss; you'll stop at nothing to beat me and take my title. Your ego blindly drives your will to take me down, everyone hoping that you'll be the one to stop me, that you'll make mistake after mistake, only to realize that it will be too late to avoid the inevitable.
Because by then I'll have picked my spot, and with everyone watching, on the biggest night of the year, the opening act of night 2, I'll take your giant over inflated ego, shatter it and break you.
Andrew smirks, he cracks his knuckles.
Andrew Raynes: Then the world will watch in horror as they see the vanguard of destruction, picking you apart piece by piece. Acting without remorse or concern for your well being, I will smash you, humble you and show why you were never going to be the last man standing. You'll understand what happens when you see the true power of hate embrace you to a point where you are changed forever.
I'm beyond ego, Julian, I've grounded myself in a way that this all comes naturally to me. I act without a sense of pressure because I know what I am capable of and what I'm prepared to do. Something that people are going to witness first hand and begin to understand who I am and why I am the most hated. This will drive people to further want to take this away from me and stop me because I'm only going to continue becoming more dangerous.
Because hate never sleeps.
So come on, bitch, show me everything you got and learn quickly why it was never going to be enough. Come get your first hand look at the man you determined wasn’t originally worth your time and deemed “meaningless” and let me show you why after it's all said and done.
Andrew looks dead in the camera with an arrogant smirk on his face.
Andrew Raynes: I’m STILL the mother fucking King of Chicago.
We cut backstage to hear a black and white feed. Boots can be heard walking as a slow whistle is made. The camera catches the boots walking and slowly pans up until we see Julian Savell making his way into the room, his patented mask on his face and a loaded umbrella twirling in his hand. He soon stopped in his tracks to face the camera before looking toward it and tilting his head.
Julian Savell: Andrew Raynes… You’re quite the star, aren’t you? You’ve made a name for yourself in SCW and GCW, winning all kinds of championships, all the while doing dastardly deeds. The thing is?
He paused and shook his head.
Julian Savell: You’re just a fucking cheap knock off of me. Everything that you’ve done? I’ve done it bigger and better and on much larger stages against much tougher opponents. You? You are nothing. Your Chicago Way reign? It is meaningless. And I’m going to show the world tonight just how meaningless it is when I expose you for the fraud you are and take that championship.
He scoffed.
Julian Savell: What have you done meaningful during your reign? Have you been a fighting champion? Have you elevated the Chicago Way Championship like Kimberly Williams did, who held it before you? I think not.
He pointed his umbrella at the camera.
Julian Savell: You have failed Chicago and you have failed Millennium. You’re one of those people who think that a championship makes you.
Savell paused to let out a bellow of a laugh, which somewhat sounded frightening.
Julian Savell: No, boy… The man makes the championship. All you have done is tainted that belt you’ve carried on your shoulder and to be quite honest? I’m not sure if I even give a fuck about it anymore.
He stepped closer to the camera before reaching up at his mask and slowly sliding it down.
Julian Savell: Look into my eyes, boy. What do you see when you look into them, huh?
He lunged toward the camera for a moment with a growl before he continued.
Julian Savell: Anger. Hatred. Pain. And most of all? You see the eyes of a man who wants to do nothing else but to hurt you.
A sickening grin crossed his lips before he moved the mask back onto his face.
Julian Savell: Clutch onto the last few moments you have with, not just the Chicago Way Championship, but your dignity as well. Because I’m going to embarrass you out there. I’m going to make you look like a fucking amateur, like your last name is Callaway.
He dropped his umbrella before grabbing the camera with both hands and pulling it near him as he titled his head.
Julian Savell: I’m going to hurt you… Really, really bad. Your pride and your body will never be the same. You call yourself The Embracer of Hate? Please, you have no idea what hate truly is. But I’ll be happy to show you. Your only escape from me is one option and one option only…
…RUN!
The scene faded to black.
Chicago Way Championship Match Last Man Standing Andrew Raynes © VS Julian Savell
- What better way to open night 2 than some violence? On his way to set the new record for the longest Chicago Way championship reign Andrew stumbled into Julian Savell and at that point everybody knew things were meant to escalate. And so they did with the match starting before the champion could even make it inside the ring. With a suicide dive, Julian took Raynes out and immediately assaulted him on the outside. Realizing that expecting them to calm down and start the match in a traditional way was a pipedream, the referee immediately ordered to sound the bell. The onslaught continued under Rebekkah’s watchful eyes. It was the SABER employee who suggested Julian to use the belt against its owner and Savell added his personal touch using the leather strap to flog the Embracer Of Hate. After a few whippings he leaned down and pressed the plate on Raynes’ face, telling him that he was going to take the title from him. Then he smacked the champion and dropped the championship on his chest, barking at the referee to start the count.
- Andrew stood up at six, his back covered in bruises and blood trickling down from a small cut above his left eye. And he was pissed. He attacked Savell with a flurry of punches and Julian fought back blow for blow. When he realized he was about to lose the fight, The Savior Of Wrestling hit the champion with a knee strike to the crotch, dropping Raynes on his knees. Julian then kicked him on the head and another count started, this one only reaching four.
- It was Raynes who kicked up the violence a notch, bringing a few chairs to the party. One he stuck between the middle and top rope in the corner, a few he piled in the corner and one he repeatedly smacked on Savell’s back. Julian crawled toward the corner and Raynes quickly dropped the chair, grabbing him by the shoulder and throwing him head first into the chair he had stuck in that same corner. The impact left the former Pride champion dazed as he stumbled back into an inverted DDT, performed on the other chair.
- It was going to take much more than that to keep Savell down, but the cut the DDT opened on the back of his skull could be an advantage for the defending champion. Raynes would have rubbed literal salt in the wound if he could, but in absence of that he settled for a cheese grater. Why would there be a cheese grater under a wrestling ring? That was a question a lot of people asked themselves, but not Andrew. He didn’t care, he just made good use of it making Julian groaning in pain as more blood gushed from the wound on the back of his head.
- Hard to say if Savell underestimated the opponent or if the history between them provided Raynes with some extra motivation, but the champion was in full control now. With his Code Of The Sith, the Embracer Of Hate pushed the Savior through the table in the corner, leaving him laying through the rubble. The official began another count, getting all the way to eight before Savell even started moving. Running out of time, Julian wisely rolled under the bottom rope and kept himself on his feet with the help of the apron.
- The fight continued on the outside and Julian managed to turn the tides by kicking the steel steps into his opponent. Raynes tripped over and landed face-first on the steel which gave Julian a twisted idea. After driving Andrew’s head onto the steps a couple more time, Julian climbed to the apron and jumped toward the Chicago Way champion, looking to curb stomp him. At the very last moment, the Embracer Of Hate moved out of the way, saving himself.
- After that close call, Raynes grabbed a baseball bat and swung at Julian who ducked the impact and kicked his arm, causing him to lose the weapon which was immediately picked up by Rebekkah. And after Jules dropped Raynes on the concrete floor with a DDT, his enforcer handed her the bat. Savell pressed it against Andrew’s neck and fell back with a russian leg sweep, and doubled down with a wicked shot to the ribs.
- Julian tried everything to keep Raynes down, but not even the Golden God Kick through a chair was enough to beat his resilience. A figure in a black uniform and a balaclava covering their face hopped the barricade and approached the ring. Rebekkah moved in front of them, but the stern and threatening look on her face quickly faded into a smile as she took a step aside and let the person do what they came to do. They stepped in the ring and wrapped their arm around Andrew’s head, falling frontally and spiking him head first into the chair. Julian barked some instructions at them and the masked person, whose only distinctive sign was a number three printed on his chest, left the ring and came back with a table, on top of which he laid the Chicago Way champion. Julian then jumped from the top of the turnbuckle and landed across Raynes with the Savell Splash. And this time the Embracer Of Hate couldn’t get up in time.

We cut backstage to find the first ever Gold Star, Tiana Petrova-Hammond storming through the hallway, kicking open doors and peeking into every room she’d come across. The camera was struggling to keep up with her, though they had their opportunity to do so when Tiana was quickly ejected from a locker room. The soon to be returning Echo emerged from the room, closely followed by one of the Chicago Fight Lab coaches, Damian Carter? Tiana was huffing, her face red from anger, Damian looked concerned and Echo simply…smirked.
Tiana: Out. Of. My. Way.
Damian: Easy, Ti. Easy.
Tiana went to push by the obstructions but was quickly pushed back by Echo.
Echo: You have a match.
Tiana: I don’t care. I’m going to tear through every inch of this arena until I find Nine, Erin, one of their little fucktoys, and I’m going to beat them to within an inch of their last breath until they tell me where Trinity is.
Damian: Hey! Enough, enough. You’ll play right into their hands if you keep on like this.
The Russian-American stared a hole straight through Damian, itching to get back to her hunt.
Echo: Damian basically begged me to watch for Nine and the rest tonight. So I will, and that doesn’t involve you. You have a match.
The Aussie warmachine turned toward Damian, who was holding Tiana’s new CFL jacket, inspired by Goku, clearly made by Trinity.
Damian: We’re going to find Trin, kiddo. For now, you have to do what she’d want you to do. Go out there and make Jordan tap. Reign it in, focus, You finish tonight and we can figure out our next steps, together. But kicking open doors isn’t going to help anyone, least of all Trinity. Alright?
Tiana’s face didn’t soften, she still wore her rage quite clearly, but all the same she took the jacket. She held it close to her and walked the opposite way down the hall, leaving Echo and Damian to watch.
Echo: I should have snatched Trinity out of the ring instead of just breaking her in it, yeh? She’s way more fired up now than she ever was with me.
Damian stared down Echo who smirked. She too took her leave down the hall, following behind Tiana.
Singles Match
Teddy Warren VS Luis Rivera
- Professional debut for one of the most interesting prospects recently graduated from the Academy. Luis had only joined the school in February but since then he managed to stay undefeated, even boasting a 42 seconds win over the Valedictorian, Addison McKinley.
- Teddy didn’t seem impressed, or aware of who he was facing. He taunted the former boxer, and even dared him to throw punches. Awful mistakes. Rivera had zero problems dodging the initial flurry and hit Warren with a right hand. One single hook, hitting Teddy on the side of the head and knocking him out. Lucho smiled and made the cover, scoring the quickest win in MWE history.
WINNER: Luis Rivera BY: Pinfall (Right Hook), 0:23

Following his impressive, record setting debut, the former Academy student Luis Rivera was indulging with some fans. A small crowd of young females had gathered around the former boxer, asking for selfies and autographs, which the young man gladly provided. Enjoying the notoriety taking part in MWE's developmental show gave him, the California born accomodated the requests of his fan club until only one remained.
Very different from his usual target audience. A few years older, dressed in an impeccable suit, the woman was no stranger to the MWE fans who immediately identified her as Eloise K. LeBeau, older sister of the Intercontinental champion Leia and the former Academy student Bebe. Still overwhelmed and excited by the sudden popularity, Luis didn't recogize her at first. Cracking his confident smirk, Rivera treated her as he did all the other young women that stormed to him after the match.
Luis Rivera: Why, hello there! What's your name girl? Did you want a picture with the future of MWE?
And he flexed. Eloise didn't flinch, keeping her professional composure as she replied to him with a polite smile.
Eloise K. LeBeau: No thanks. My name is Eloise K. LeBeau, agent and manager, among others, of the MWE Intercontinental Chaampion Leia...
The last name definitely clicked something for Luis.
Luis Rivera: LeBeau? Like... Bebe LeBeau?
Eloise K. LeBeau: She would be my younger sister, yes.
Once again, Eloise couldn't finish her introduction.
Luis Rivera: What happened to her, the thing with Shaina? That was awful. I can't stand bullying and I would have offered your sister a hand, but she went to Jasper and...
This time it was Eloise who cut him off politely, with a motion of her hand and a smile.
Eloise K. LeBeau: I am not here to talk about my sister. That story has been handled by Mr. Vaccaro and the team leaders who have granted Bebe a match tonight, an opportunity to get the payback and the closure she needs. I came to talk about you, and your future.
Rivera raised an eyebrow, not sure what Eloise was implying.
Eloise K. LeBeau: I have, of course, watched The Academy with interested eyes this season. Not only to see my sister chasing her dream, but to scout the next generation of MWE superstars as well. You have been making waves since joining, and what you have done just now in that ring? That was quite the way to introduce yourself on the grand stage.
That smug smile reappeared on Luis' face. Eloise reached inside her designer purse to hand him her business card.
Eloise K. LeBeau: I would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience, get to know you a little better and see whether there are the grounds to build a mutually beneficial partnership.
Rivera grabbed the card and looked at it, then back at Eloise.
Luis Rivera: Cool. Yeah, I'll definitely be in touch.
Eloise K. LeBeau: It was a pleasure to meet you, Luis. And again, congratulations on your successful debut.
On those words, Eloise took her leave. The camera then cut to the next segment.
Submission Match
Tiana Petrova-Hammond VS Jordan Parker-Kane
- Two competitors with a MMA background were set to compete in a match right in their wheelhouse, where the only way to win is to submit your opponent. No particular history behind this, just a chance for them both to showcase their ability and climb the ranks of MWE.
- Jordan took the initiative taking advantage of an apparently distracted Tiana. This match wasn’t high in the scale of her priority to begin with, but there’s no doubt that after the events of night 1, namely the disappearance of Trinity Thompson, the ring was the last place the Russian-American wanted to be. Jordan delivered a flurry of knee strikes from a clinching position, knocking the Academy graduate on her back.
- Parker-Kane began to work on Tiana’s legs catching her with a single leg takedown and following with some stomps on the knee before putting the younger opponent in an Indian deathlock. With the ropes close by, Petrova-Hammond had an easy way out but the opponent didn’t release her right away, exploiting the five count to do some extra damage before finally letting go. The fans didn’t appreciate the lack of sportsmanship and neither did the official who gave the former Valiant Chaos champion a stern look.
- That wasn’t the last time Jordan bent the rules either, engaging in an illegal submission whose sole purpose was to hurt Tiana and weaken her limb. And for that, the ring post figure four worked greatly. This time the official didn’t limit to just stare daggers at Jordan, but he literally got in his face and gave him the ultimatum. The next time he’ll do something like that will also be the last. He had to look damn serious since the smirk on JPK’s face suddenly disappeared.
- The fans’ support for Tiana grew louder in this moment of great difficulty. Limping on her right leg, Petrova-Hammond walked back to the center of the ring, shaking her head to shake off all the concerns and fears going through her mind. She needed to find a way to block those thoughts away and find her focus to finally turn things around. Those cheers surely helped her, giving her the boost to fight back. She blocked a kick to the sides by the opponent and immediately hit him with an elbow strike to the knee cap, following with another elbow, this one clocking The Prodigy on the jaw. The strike didn’t have enough power to drop Jordan but it stumbled him back, allowing Ti to follow with a volley of kicks to the right leg.
- Once Tiana got Jordan to the ground, she didn’t give him the chance to get up anymore. Leglocks, the Chicago Fight Lab calf crush, kneebars… Tiana showcased all her ability and technique, switching from one submission to the next with incredible fluidity. Jordan did his best to get out of that tangle of submissions, but every time he found an opening to escape, Petrova-Hammond would change the hold and frustrate all his hard work. Until Tiana applied the ankle lock. And that was the end for Jordan, who had no choice but to give up.
WINNER: Tiana Petrova-Hammond BY: Submission (Ankle Lock), 9;43

We cut to the boiler room area of the arena. It is dark and cold back here. It is hard to see anything except that which is inside the lone spotlight shining down. Footsteps are suddenly heard in the background. It isn’t long until we see the source of those footsteps entering the light; it is none other than “The Assassin” Clyde Sutter. The Assassin is dressed in black pants, a white silk button up shirt, and a black trenchcoat. A sinister grin is etched across his face.
Clyde Sutter: Time is very much like a cold and distant god. Time, in fact, is an uncaring god. Time does not play favorites, time does not care about good or bad. Time is amoral. Time is not here to enact justice. Time only cares about making certain that everything happens according to its appointment. Time exists to ensure that fate and destiny come to fruition. You know those two words…fate and destiny…they have very different connotations. When people speak of fate, it is typically in negative terms. Oh but destiny? People tend to throw the word destiny around so much and in such positively uplifting terms.
The Assassin points a finger at the camera.
Clyde Sutter: Are you one of those people, Ms. Andrews? Did you think it was your destiny to become MWE Riot Champion? Was it your destiny to end Mr. Manning’s annoying reign of terror? Are you now walking into our match tonight thinking that it is your destiny to end my reign of terror?
Sutter laughs nastily.
Clyde Sutter: If so you then you are a fool, Ms. Andrews. You see fate and destiny are one and the same. They are no different. Just because destiny is spoken of with such positive connotations does not mean that negativity is not possibly with destiny. As a matter of fact, Ms. Andrews, every single human being has a date with destiny…and that date is their death. Now you are not destined to die here tonight. You are in perfectly good health…for now…so I find it highly unlikely that Time has determined that your ultimate destiny and fate is to be met here tonight. But I can also assure you that it is your destiny to lose the MWE Riot Championship here tonight. Your fate was sealed, Ms. Andrews, the moment I completed my final defense of the MENTV Championship, thus securing a guaranteed shot at your Riot Championship…a championship which will soon belong to me. The simple and sad fact, Ms. Andrews, is that your time has run out.
A sinister sneer forms across Sutter’s face.
Clyde Sutter: Time is a very precious commodity, Ms. Andrews. So please try and enjoy the final few minutes you have with the Riot Championship. I promise to end it quickly, but it will NOT be painless. Tick tock…
Tag Team Match
Bebe LeBeau & Jasper King VS Shaina Sheridan & Walker
- LNext up was another showcase for The Academy graduates, all four of them receiving their wrestling diplomas, but only two of them officially signed on full time as wrestlers, those being Walker and Jasper King. The other two, it was very publicly documented that one would not be signing professional terms, that one being social media superstar Shaina Sheridan. The last of the four, it was very unclear what their plan was, as MWE camerawoman and Savage photographer turned Academy student, Bebe LeBeau, was a shell of what she once was, and after she the mistakes she made during Night One of the supershow, it looked as if this might be her last night in the company too.
- Walker came out all loud and confident, Shania following him out as she reminded the MWE fans that this was the last time they would ever see her, as she was getting out of this “toxic environment and toxic industry”. After her recent actions in the Academy, many were booing her, not only for leaving, but for many of her hypocritical actions bullying and humiliating one of her opponents tonight. And as their opponents came out, a highlight video began playing out, just as Bebe and Jasper made their way to ringside. Jasper was almost dragging Bebe out, who seemed on the verge of tears the entire time. The video footage rolled, showing Jasper’s surprise Gold Star victory in the very first episode of the Academy, through to Bebe’s attention grabbing antics, to Shania’s documentation of her wrestling experiences, as shown on her Twitter, YouTube, Twitch and Instagram accounts. The footage then cut to Walker’s debut in the Academy, as he replaced a member of the roster that Bebe literally kicked out with a Super Kick. That person being Alex Milton
- What came next though, had a massively negative effect. It moved away from the fours antics and match results, instead switching to the video of Walker and Shania both befriending Bebe, then humiliating her on their live stream. There were boos from the crowd as this played out, Walker shrugging, and Shania not really paying attention to it, bar mouthing that she blamed the wrestling business for what had happened.
If anything, the footage recap of what had happened set Bebe even further back, and she made a sprint for the curtain. If it wasn’t for Jasper gripping her by the arm and yanking her back, convincing her to go through with the match, she would have fled. Walker was actually laughing at this in the ring, while Shania merely shook her head, the two discussing tactics in the corner, Sheridan especially acted all innocent in regards to this, but the fans seemed to be rooted in Bebe’s corner, trying to encourage her in defending herself after her ordeal.
- Bebe eventually got to the corner, and the bell sounded, Walker and Jasper starting the match off. Despite what had occurred, Walker and Jasper had been friends, but the Pumpkin King clearly disagreed with what had been happening, overpowering Walker in the collar and elbow tie up, and pushing him across the ring. The same happened when they tied up again, Walker getting a little frustrated by Jasper’s strength advantage. This might have been a trick though, as when the third tie up came, Walker snapped off an Elbow Smash, then caught Jasper with a wicked Savate Kick. King only staggered, allowing Shaina to tag in as she threw in a Flying Forearm to many boos. She hit another one, staggering Jasper back again before tagging in Walker, who took down the big guy with a superb Slingblade.
- This was the story for the opening minutes of the contest, Shania and Walker working together with well timed quick tags, trying to wear King down. But Jasper, with all his presence and strength, was still able to push back and power out when they came at him, including a fantastic Double Back Suplex that took both of them down. But as Jasper went to make the tag, Bebe shied away. Shania was the legal woman at this point, and LeBeau seemed terrified of the prospect of being in the ring with her.
- Jasper realised he might have to go it alone here, and he was almost caught with a quick rollup from Shania. He kicked out just in time, and she nailed him with an Enziguri for another near fall. She then tagged in Walker, who came off of the top rope with a near perfect Tornado DDT, making the cover but only getting a two. Bebe almost entered the ring to break the count, but catching Shania’s gaze, she burst into tears again. Sheridan shook her head, and it looked like she was almost sympathetic towards LeBeau, but she focused on the match itself, coming into the ring to hit a Hurricanrana on Jasper, then Walker caught King with one of his own. Then they both dived on him for the pin, but Jasper still powered out.
- King was getting worn down, and despite catching them both with a couple of big Suplexes, and even a Powerbomb on Shania after another Hurricanrana attempt, he was still being overwhelmed, Walker catching him with a stunning Roundhouse Kick that downed him. It was two on one, and while Jasper was able to take down one at a time, the other was always there to clip him. Shania looked over to Bebe in the corner, pointing it out as she screamed to the fans that “wrestling has done this to her, not me”. The crowd booed her intensely for this, just as Walker put Jasper down with his Walk Drop (Double Arm DDT). He then flipped off the tearful Bebe in the corner, before him and Shania both scaled the top rope, then came down with Duelling Frog Splashes, the move Walker named ‘I’m A Peacock Captain, You Gotta Let Me Fly’. They made the cover, and all was academic.
… But the pin was broken! By a Bebe!
- There was a rousing cheer as Bebe finally got involved. It was a pathetic little slap that did it, bringing Shania and Walker up as they glared at the shaking LeBeau. Bebe retreated back to her corner in a panic, but as Walker and Shania went for her, Jasper just about managed to grab their heels, causing them to fall. The Pump King then made a leap, tagging in Bebe! The crowd let out a cheer, but Bebe just shook her head, not wanting to get into the match, pleading with Jasper that she didn’t want to get involved. King made some encouraging words, but he then took an almost suicidal cross body from Walker, one that sent them both sailing over the top rope to the outside
- With Walker and Jasper fighting outside of the ring, it was now down to Bebe and Shania, and Bebe was staggering, still out of sorts and emotional, Shania catching her with every other shot she threw, whether a kick, forearm or elbow, Bebe trying to dodge them as she practically pleaded for Shania to stop. Sheridan was full of confidence, knowing she was moments away from finishing her wrestling career with a win and kissing the industry goodbye. She tried pulling Bebe away from the corner, and LeBeau clung desperately onto the turnbuckle pad, pleading to be left alone. Shania yanked her again, and pulled Bebe away, the pad being torn from the corner. LeBeau dropped the pad, leaving the referee to pick it up and try to put it back in place, but as Shania pulled on Bebe’s arm, the young LeBeau suddenly Irish whipped her straight into the referee, squishing them in the corner. The crowd gasped in shock, Sheridan was stunned and Bebe was covering her mouth.
But it wasn’t in shock. She was… laughing?!
And then suddenly spat purple mist right into Shania’s face!
- As the crowd watched on, Bebe was a completely different person, laughing maniacally as she pointed at Sheridan, covered in purple, blinded and screaming. The personality change was so sudden, the shy and solemn Bebe of recent weeks being washed away in a second as she reverted back to her crazy, mischievous former self. “Did you REALLY think your crap had ANY effect on me? You dumb bish, I’m a Bebe!” LeBeau screamed out, nailing Shania square in the jaw with that Super Kick of hers she called the Snapshot. Shania fell back, bouncing her head on the canvas as Bebe climbed to the second rope, proclaiming to everyone that she had fooled them all. Jasper was on the outside, completely stunned, after planting Walker with a Running Powerslam on the outside, and he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Bebe then leapt off onto Shania with a Legdrop Bulldog Rocker Dropper, a move her sister made infamous as the Seattle Slut Drop. She then made the extremely provocative cover, just as the referee recovered to make the count for the 1, 2, 3!
WINNER: Bebe LeBeau & Jasper King BY: Pinfall (Second Rope Seattle Slut Drop), 10:36
|
Post match, Bebe was prancing around the ring laughing, before performing a little curtsy, telling any and all who would listen that she had played the biggest practical joke in MWE history on Shania and Walker, and she was a genius. Jasper came into the ring, obviously pleased for the win and that Bebe had earned a measure of payback, but wasn’t all too happy with how Bebe did it. As LeBeau paraded around the ring, she reached under the apron, bringing out what looked like the handlebars of a BMX bike, with the words ‘Bish Stick’ written on it. And as she entered the ring again, it looked like she was going to take this even further with an assault on Shania!
But Jasper grabbed Bebe in a waistlock, lifting her up and putting her down to the mat. “That is enough, you’ve had your payback,” he stated, causing Bebe to throw a mini tantrum, stamping her feet in anger and sticking her tongue out at him. Then, in another shocking moment, she motorboated Jasper’s chest! Everyone in the arena was stunned, some laughing, some just mind blown, as Bebe escaped the ring with her weapon, proclaiming herself to be once again the greatest mind in The Academy, and waved goodbye to Shania.
The cameras cut to a shot of Lowri Moss arriving at Little Caesars Arena earlier in the day, ahead of tonight’s show. Dressed casually in a t-shirt and a pair of jeans, Lowri is pulling a trolley case behind her as she makes her way through the arena’s parking garage, and she is almost at the entrance to the building, when she is accosted by a camera crew.
“Hey, Lowri.”
She responds with a courteous smile.
Lowri Moss: Hi.
“How are you feeling about your match tonight against a mystery opponent?”
The smile on Lowri’s face broadens a little.
Lowri Moss: I’m excited by it. Being part of a match on a pay-per-view event is always something to look forward to, and this one is certainly no different. I’ve been trying to remember whether or not I’ve ever faced a mystery opponent before in my career– I’ve been a mystery opponent for someone else in the past, I think, but I’m not sure that I’ve ever had a match with a mystery opponent myself.
She shrugs her shoulders, as she continues.
Lowri Moss: I’m intrigued to find out who my opponent is. I’m guessing it’s someone who’s not currently on the roster, and that it’s either someone who has competed in MWE before and is making their return, whether they’re returning full-time or just as a one-off, or it’s someone who has never set foot inside an MWE ring at all before now; we’ll all see soon enough, I suppose.
“How hard is it for you to prepare for a match when you don’t know who your opponent is?”
Lowri lets out a sigh.
Lowri Moss: It’s definitely not ideal. I remember talking before my first or second match in MWE about how I like to prepare meticulously for all of my matches, spending time studying each of my opponents, but obviously that’s not something that I can do if I don’t know who my opponent is, and that does give my opponent tonight, whoever they are, a bit of an advantage in that respect.
She runs a hand through her hair.
Lowri Moss: I’ve just had to focus on myself, making sure that I’m in the best shape that I can be in, and trying to ensure that I’m as close to the top of my game tonight as I can possibly be. And whoever my opponent does turn out to be, I’m confident that the talent I possess inside the ring will be enough to make up for not knowing their identity in advance, and that I’ll be able to defeat them.
Something else crosses her mind.
Lowri Moss: While you’re here, there’s one other thing that I would like to say about tonight’s show, and that’s that I want to wish good luck to my tag team partner from a few weeks ago, Alex Andrews.
She stares straight at the camera lens, as if she is addressing Alex directly.
Lowri Moss: I know that since he arrived in MWE, Clyde Sutter has been a bit of a wrecking machine. I also know though, Alex, that you can beat him, and that you can retain your title. I believe in you; good luck.
As Lowri then heads for the venue’s entrance, the cameras cut away
Cloud Gate Championship Match
Faizah Marshall © VS Addi McKinley
- Second match in two days for Faizah, an unexpected title defense she only learned about 24 hours before night 1, when the Year Two Valedictorian Addison McKinley decided to use her granted title shot on her first match on the main roster. A bold move for sure, but confidence was never something the former Gold Star lacked. And most importantly, she had all the tools and ability to back it up. Addi came into this match with a simple game plan, blast the champion with swift and relentless strikes. And soon, Faizah found herself flat on her back, in need for an early break.
- Addison followed her outside and found TD Batterson blocking her path. She acted tough and told him to step away but he didn’t even flinch. Before McKinley could realize the mistake she made, Faizah got back to her feet, hidden behind TD’s large frame. She tapped him on the back and he quickly stepped aside, allowing her to strike the challenger with a jumping knee to the chin. Before pushing the opponent back in the ring as the referee’s count reached eight, Marshall smashed Addi’s face against the steel post a couple of times. Climbing on the apron, the champion then entered the ring with a slingshot senton, landing across Addi’s chest for a cover.
- After coming up short in the tag gauntlet and seeing her #TwoBeltsFaiz dream fading, the Original BAE wasn’t letting her title slipping through her hands, To counter Addi’s athleticism, Marshall focused more on the technical aspects, showing once again her great versatility as she kept the Academy graduate grounded. Despite the front facelock, McKinley was able to make it back to a vertical base, but Faizah didn’t let go. Actually, she raised her knee to the young woman’s face and then connected a snap suplex, obtaining a two and half.
- The momentum changed once again when Addison rocked the champion with a headbutt from the apron as Faizah was trying to bring her back in the ring. The former Gold Star then leveled Faiz with a springboard knee strike and quickly hooked the leg. The referee’s hand stopped mere inches from touching the floor a third time. Frustrated, Addi pulled the opponent up by the hair and tossed her in the corner where she hit her with a flurry of forearm strikes.
- With an eye rake followed by a superkick the champion regained control. In the following two minutes and half she really tested Addison’s resilience with some of her trademark moves, such as the exploder suplex, the brainbuster and also a springboard moonsault, but none of those were enough to keep her down. She then climbed to the top rope for The Best Splash Ever but Addi wisely rolled out of the ring.
- Impressive debut for the teenager who came very close to the upset win with her falcon arrow. Visibly tired from the other night’s effort, Marshall tried to regain control but Addison ducked the roundhouse kick and jumped on the Cloud Gate’ champion’s back, pulling her into the Ohīlagon backstabber. The Khaleesi hooked the leg for a cover, and this time it was for the win. Or it would have been, if TD didn’t grab her by the foot and dragged her out of the ring, throwing her into the barricade.
WINNER: Addison McKinley (FAIZAH MARSHALL STILL CLOUD GATE CHAMPION) BY: DQ, 11:52

We cut backstage to JJ Night standing in front of the camera. He has his Junior Heavyweight Championship on his shoulder and he is already dressed down into his ring gear. Of course, he has that classic, infectious smile on his face as well.
JJ Night: Tonight is going to be one of the toughest matches of my career. Now, some people might come into this cocky. They could say that Valkyrie is a tag team wrestler. Warblade 42 is no joke and Valk formed quite a formidable duo with Niko Yua. But she is clearly so much more than that. Not only is she a ten plus year pro? But she is a trainer at Omega Academy, which is nothing to sneeze at.
He nodded.
JJ Night: She’s accomplished in the ring and in helping people prepare for this ring. She’s smart, savvy and she takes no prisoners. I know damn well that I have my hands full tonight and to be quite honest? This might just be the biggest challenge of my career. Valkyrie is the real deal and if I make one small mistake? She won’t hesitate to capitalize on it and end this match.
He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly as he thought all of that over.
JJ Night: But it’s because I know all of this that I’m going to come out on top tonight. Your typical wrestler would undermine and doubt the larger than life amazon that is Valkyrie but that’s not me. I’ve prepared diligently for her, just like I was taught by my great teachers at Nightfall and the ones at MWE’s Academy. I’ve been preparing for this type of thing for a long time and to never take anyone lightly.
He stepped closer to the camera before glancing down at his championship.
JJ Night: You see this Junior Heavyweight Championship? Some awesome people have held it. Hell, the first guy to win it is someone I look up to, Corey Grimes. Then the previous holder? Echo? Who I defeated for this? She had quite the run to build this championship up but I want to surpass that. I want to be a fighting champion but most of all? I want to be the greatest Junior Heavyweight Champion of MWE.
He nodded confidently.
JJ Night: Most people would be looking ahead to the Riot Championship or the MWE World Championship but not me. Those will come in due time. Right now? I have this championship on my shoulder, the Junior Heavyweight Championship. It’s my job to establish this as the workhorse championship and that is exactly what I’m going to do.
JJ pointed at the camera.
JJ Night: So Valkyrie? Let’s go out there and tear the roof off and show the world what this Junior Heavyweight Championship truly means. Bring me everything you’ve got. Because I’m going to be real right now. I wasn’t born as talented as some people in my family. My older cousin Chris? No. My older sister Chloe? Definitely not. But in the words of Rock Lee? “I work hard and I never give up. That is my gift. That is MY Ninja Way!” Of course, I’m not a ninja, but I am a wrestler and that is my wrestling way.
Night stepped closer to the camera and leaned in as he smiled widely.
JJ Night: I won’t give up. Believe it.
With that said, JJ walked out of the frame and the scene cut away.
Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
JJ Night © VS Valkyrie
- Back to back title matches on night 2, this one featuring the Junior Heavyweight champion JJ Night defending against Valkyrie. The former Academy student was looking for payback after the loss and beatdown suffered at Vee’s hands in that tag match a couple of weeks ago, but once again the Dane’s aggressiveness took him off guard. Probably because she didn’t even wait for the match to start to level him with a clothesline, an action that didn’t earn her any sympathy with the fans.
- Valkyrie’s new attitude was on full display tonight, that mean streak giving JJ a really hard time as she kept hitting him relentlessly with knee strikes in the corner. She grabbed him by the arm and whipped him across the ring. following with a clothesline in the corner. She set him up on top of the turnbuckle for a superplex but this time Night fought back, throwing right hands at the Warmaiden’s ribs until she fell back to the canvas. JJ then leaped from the top with a double axe handle, knocking the woman down.
- Once The Kid was able to kick into high gear, the course of the match changed drastically. Valkyrie’s stiff strikes were no use if she couldn’t catch him, and JJ’s speed allowed him to stay out of harm's way. He ducked the blonde’s clothesline and flipped her over with a spectacular crucifix driver, but the move only earned him a two count and the applause of the Detroit crowd.
- His mistake was to count the Great Dane Bitch out too early and attempt his Chidori (springboard forearm smash) when Valkyrie still had plenty left in her tank. She caught him mid-flight with a superkick, knocking him down. Showing off her strength, Valkyrie deadlift him for a gutwrench suplex, waiting for him to stand up and turning him inside out with a big lariat.
- This “new” Valkyrie wasn’t going easy on the opponent, pulling all stops to stay on top. Choking JJ on the top rope was only one of the “morally questionable” tactics the Great Dane Bitch implemented in this match. The referee did warn her a couple of times but his authority meant little to Valkyrie who blatantly disregarded it and pressed her knee on JJ’s spine, pushing his throat against the middle rope.
- Night was at the ropes, both metaphorically and literally. Valkyrie hit him with a flurry of chops before firing him against the ropes on the opposite side and planting him on the mat with a spinebuster. She gave him time to get up before going for the Hammer Of Thor. JJ ducked the impact at the last moment and quickly rolled her up, scoring a hard fought win.
WINNER: JJ Night (STILL JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION) BY: Pinfall (Roll-Up), 9:22

We then head to the rafters where the man who was violently turned on yesterday is sitting alone. The man who is about to face Olly in singles action in Seth Iser. There’s that sleeve that protects his shoulder and wrist from where that Vice. There’s even a bruise from where one of the microphone shots connected but there’s a great agitation in his body language as he has his hands already balled up in fists but it seems like he’s processed all of this. Even as he’s now changed into his wrestling attire, a black and purple variation on his usual tights.
Seth Iser: That was the decision deeply made when they took their time off…I should’ve known. And that’s my fault.
He muses that out loud as he rubs his shoulder with a slight wince in some pain. There’s a slight shake of the head.
Seth Iser: Loyalty…sticking your neck out for anyone for that matter…it turns out it can be a real pain in the ass in this industry. Hell, sometimes this is one of those industries where if you try to do right by somebody…try to do the right thing, you’re never rewarded for it. You’re punished. Hell, crucified even in some ways. And lord knows I’ve been on the opposite side of that way too many times so I have a fair inkling of what’s stewing in Pierce’s brain and Megan’s brain.
There’s a grunt as he again stretches out that shoulder, the thing that’s been ailing him since that Chivalry is Dead encounter with Izzy and not helped by the assault the previous night. But as he does he reaches back and ends up pulling a quarter, a remnant of the sock of quarters he took to the back of the head and even twirls it in his good hand for a moment before palming it.
Seth Iser: You two proved yourselves two pennies rather than two quarters after I digested everything you said after you tried to knock me unconscious with that cheap two on one assault. But I truly wonder…Megan made the claim I was holding you two back when I’ve done nothing but even support YOUR attempt to pursue the world title even when I was the one who held it. The man who has given you two a lot of different advice on how to play the game. And to be honest Megan…that screamed insecure lies what you screamed. Not too far from your original mentor…
There’s a light shrug coming from him as a bit of agitation is showing through.
Seth Iser: But if you two want to play this kind of game with me…tread carefully. Nobody is ever the same when they do. There’s plenty of time to…resolve this issue.
A sneer is etched more as he gives out on this last warning.
Seth Iser: Now Olly…after I had to do what I needed there…I saw what you did at the end there with Karen while I was getting looked over in the trainer’s room. I knew that was a ploy the moment she said what she did on April 1st…can’t fool an old rogue like me but I’m not condemning it. Hell, I’d ever say well played you two to have the tag gold a second time. Truth be told I kind of think we need more like you just to keep things a little different around here. But I think deep down you already know you can’t and won’t for that matter use those rogue-like arts on me. It’d be…a bad idea.
There’s a slight grunt as he stretches out his bad limb with a wince briefly coming across his face.
Seth Iser: I know what Karen said was a lie. This is the kind of fight you live for. The kind of fight you’ve wanted ever since you came to me on how to exploit a weakness in a situation using only your mouth to supplement what you already have with your fists. People never go beyond the surface level with you…and half the time already resigned and doomed themselves against you. No…not me. I know what you’re about…and I understand clearly why you do the things you do. What people see as youthful malice I see as calculated precision to let down the guard of others…taking in a version of the advice I gave you all the way in the Academy.
And then the determined glare kicks in.
Seth Iser: But tonight you face the man who redefined the style you’re trying to fully embrace for two decades! Sure, I’ve added a lot of other arrows to my bow…not to mention those abilities in those rogue arts but I have truly redefined what it means to be a brawler in professional wrestling! And you are in for a fight, son. But your wrestler’s pride compels you to want this further…I know. We’re all like that to some extent. The thrill of fighting people with reputation and prestige. And while I can’t promise that my former stablemates won’t try to ruin what we want to do tonight…
He darkly glares as he mutters that last point but continues.
Seth Iser: I’m going to teach you even more than I ever did in that one session in the academy just by being in the ring with me. And I’ll still come out ahead…truth be told. One day you’ll be in my shoes perhaps…but today is not that day. But allow this old man to educate you on the difference between promise…and developed resolve when I just show how every little bit I do…from the punches, elbows, knees…and the other arrows to my bow…just truly nags and hurts all in the goal to get victory.
With that last statement, the veteran stands up and then walks off from view.
Singles Match
Seth Iser VS Olly
- As Biffy Clyro’s “Balance Not Symmetry” hit the PA System every single fan in the Arena stood to their feet. But it wasn’t to tribute the young man with a standing ovation, quite the opposite actually. The boos were deafening, even topping those from the night prior when he “stole” the gold, and the spotlight, along with Karen. In response, Seth was welcomed like a hero, the Detroit fans truly looking forward to see the veteran toss around the younger opponent.
- The size disadvantage wasn’t a concern for Olly, who took on Iser head on. Brawling with someone like the former World Champion might seem a horrible idea but the Academy graduate was known for making some pretty bad decisions. In his defense, he held his own against the bigger and stronger opponent, to the point where Iser himself looked impressed as he massaged his jaw, hit by a stiff right by the Tag Team champion. That was a moment before the Hunter knocked Olly down with a big boot.
- The fans who were hoping to see a one-way match with the veteran running circles around the younger and less experienced opponent would be disappointed in seeing Olly giving Iser a run for his money. The young man didn’t seem to care about how much punishment he was taking, as long as he was able to dish out his own dose, wisely targeting the ribs that must have been sore after night’s one assault at the hands of his former Triumvirate associates. A reckless tactic for sure, but his high pain tolerance played well into it, allowing him to withstand the man’s knife edge chops and kick Seth on the knee, causing it to buckle.
- A Random Act Of Violence (running knee strike to the back of the head) floored Seth and kept everyone with baited breath as the referee got in position and made the count, but the Deity Of Destruction wasn’t done yet. Olly had something to say about the official being “too fat and slow”, but his protest didn’t go any further than that remark. He knew he couldn’t take any chance with someone like Iser who could turn the tides at the slightest distraction.
- Honestly, he could turn the tides even without any distraction and that’s what he did when he connected the Pillar Of Truth out of nowhere. The former World champion was forced to switch to a slower and more methodical pace, starting to use submission holds. He put Olly in an excruciating sharpshooter but the Academy graduate managed to drag himself toward the ropes, grabbing the bottom one and obtaining a clean break from Seth,
- Seth’s first attempt at putting Olly in his Dream Eater saw the tag team champion wriggling to get free before the submission was fully locked. Iser kept his cool and went back to work, further weakening the young man with the Icebreaker. Before he could follow up with any offense, he spotted Megan and Pierce coming out of the curtains. Even though the veteran knew better than to take his eyes off the prize, he couldn’t help but glance in their direction as they were making it down the ramp with long strides. Olly saw that both his opponent’s eyes and the referee’s were on the Mannings and retrieved a brass knuckle he kept hidden in the jacket he was wearing during his entrance and, with that on his right hand, hit the former World champion with the Leap Of Faith. Throwing away the foreign object before the official could spot it, Olly then hooked the leg and made the cover, scoring an upset win.
WINNER: Olly BY: Pinfall (Leap Of Faith), 14:13
|
Seth was fuming! He stood up and invited his former associates to bring it, ready to take out his frustration for losing the match on them both. He didnìt need to, as Nina and Javen took care of the Mannings, getting their payback from the gauntlet. Seth then turned around, looking surprised to see Olly still standing there. Was he going to fight alongside Iser if Meg and Pierce attacked him? As uncharacteristic as it sounded, that seemed to be the case.
Olly glanced at the veteran, giving him a light nod. The closest thing to a gesture of respect we ever seen from him.
The scene opens up in a empty wrestling school, and sitting there, on one ring post is a long figure. Their head covered by the hoodie they are wearing. A few moments to by a d the hoodie is flipped back to show Alex Andrews, a stern, almost thoughtful look on her face. You can tell she's meaning business. She rubs her hands together a few times before she begins to speak, giving the camera a look.
Alex Andrews : Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.I
Alex shakes her head and snorts.
Alex Andrews : That's all I've heard from the moment Clyde Sutter defeated his last of five opponents, hell, almost from the moment he won the title back from Glory Braddock. I've heard him talk about how my reign is on borrowed time, how little he thinks of my chances in defending the belt I spent over a year getting towards. I have bled, and cried for the MWE Riot Championship , can you say the same? Can you Clyde?
Alex takes a deep breath.
Alex Andrews : I doubt it, right? Because this was all too easy for you. You've ripped a path of destruction the moment you showed up, haven't you? And save a hiccup or two, you've gone mostly untouched. So, of course you think little old Ms.Andrews isn't going to put up a fight and you get another fancy accomplishment and another scalp to collect.
Alex hops down off the turnbuckle she was perched on and rests against the corner.
Alex Andrews : But you see, you haven't faced me before. Not one on one and not when I'm chilly focused at the task at hand. And you better believe I'm focused on you right now, Clyde. And know I take you deadly serious. I get how dangerous you are, but if course, you're underestimating me. I get why, but the thing is, seven times out of ten, I'm going to be the smaller fighter in a bout and it's something I've trained for. It's something I've gotten pretty dang good at. I wouldn't be Riot Champion of I didn't have the heart and drive and relentless nature that goes with the territory. If you want to question or doubt my heart, my desire to be the best, go ask Pierce, see how much he likes hearing my name as I eclipse his accomplishments myself.
She stretches against the ropes for a second, just keeping her eyes on the camera.
Alex Andrews : Time might be fleeting, but it's not my enemy. You are. And I'm going to find that chink in your armor and I'm going to exploit it. I've been in the ring with legends and men twice my size, Clyde. So you might be big and bad and dangerous, but I've surprised plenty of cocky people by dropping this boot. This. Boot.
Alex raises her leg and rests it on the second rope.
Alex Andrews: On their skull. You'd be surprised how effective a concentrated kick at the crown of the head is. Big or small, I hit Brain Death, they still fall. Clyde, I'm ready for your and I'm going to expose you and break that mystique of yours. I'm not done being the Face of Riot just yet.
Alex shoves her hands into the pockets and rolls out of the ring. She walks off out of the shot and we fade to black.
Riot Championship Match
Alex Andrews © VS Clyde Sutter
- From the get, we knew these two were going to be operating on very different strategies. Clyde clearly had the strength advantage, and Alex was going to need to use a speed advantage to come out on top. However, things didn’t go as planned for Andrews as Clyde sought to fight her straight up. She managed to duck under Sutter’s long arm, rolling to the turnbuckle. Alex ran up to the second rope, leaping off into a diving hurricanrana that Clyde catches. In a show of strength, he pulls Alex back up into a powerbomb position, before rushing forward and chucking her right into the turnbuckle with a buckle bomb.
- Sutter made sure that Alex stayed grounded, and he didn’t fall for any of her technical defenses either. He was certainly controlling the match at this point. Andrews tried to battle back with a right hand, followed by another. She hit the ropes and bounded back into a crossbody that again, Sutter was able to catch! He twirled around, connecting to the mat with a huge spinning powerslam. He didn’t stop there though, deadlifting Alex off the canvas and up into a fall away slam position. He yells out to the crowd, ready to launch into a fall away slam but Andrews latches on, spinning into a black widow. She applies more and more pressure for a few seconds, but to her dismay, Clyde never shows signs of faltering, choosing to flatten her with a modified death valley driver back to the canvas. The move forces her to let go, and Clyde tries for a pin but gets a two count.
- Still managing to control the match with his strength, Clyde picks Alex up, hoisting her high above his head for a gorilla press slam. However he doesn’t release her inside the ring, he drops her so that her neck collides with the top rope on the way down, and she crashes to the floor on the outside. The RIOT Champion looks to be in some big trouble as the referee begins a count on Alex. Sutter is cold and relentless and he exits to the apron. He sizes Alex up and she makes it to her feet on the outside. This is where he leaps into an axe handle from the apron…but Alex sees it coming! At the same time she leaps into a single-knee facebreaker! The move also sees her back hit the ground, but it catches Sutter off guard and gives her time to roll towards the opposite steps for safety.
- The count is getting closer and closer to ten as both get to their feet with a little difficulty. Alex makes it up first, with Clyde climbing to the same apron just a little away from Andrews. Thinking fast, Alex leaps onto the ropes, springboarding off into a huge cutter onto Sutter that drops them both into the ring! The crowd is on their feet in awe as Andrews makes a cover, but Clyde powers out!
- With Andrews gaining momentum, she strikes him in the chest with a kick that knocks him back to the corner. She strikes him again. She goes for another but Clyde ducks, pushing Alex’s leg up and over. Andrews lands on her feet, but is spun around by Clyde who locks her in the Judgement day (bar arm sleeper)! Alex squirms as the life is being choked from her! We’re about to have a brand new RIOT Champion when she uses EVERYTHING she can to hoist her legs up and OVER her head. The quick thinking causes her more choking, but it effectively pins Clyde’s shoulders to the canvas…forcing him to break the hold. She rolls to the corner to catch her breath, clutching her neck.
- With every move, Clyde loses more and more control. With the crowd getting louder and louder for Andrews. He grabs her by the throat, but she chops both sides of his head causing him to let go. She kips up Clyde’s own knee for a knee to his face which takes him down. She tries to lock in the Dawn Breaker (Liontamer) but Clyde is too large, pushing on her with both feet. She stumbles back into the ropes as Clyde quickly gets up. But Alex bounds back into Elysium (bicycle running knee)!
- The crowd is at its absolute loudest now, as it looks like Lady Limitless is going to retain her championship. She’s about to make a cover when she’s grabbed from behind, falling victim to The Reverb (Deep Six). It’s Echo! She hasn’t been expected in MWE since she didn’t show up for her match weeks ago. But here she is attacking Alex! That’s not all though, she turns to Clyde still on the floor, locking him in her signature Heel Hook as the bell continues to sound the disqualification.
WINNER: Alex Andrews (STILL RIOT CHAMPION) BY: DQ, 14:41

Singles Match
Lowri Moss VS TBA
- It’s never easy to prepare for a match when you don’t know who you’ll be facing, but nobody loves a challenge more than Lowri Moss, who looked ready and impatient to find out who her opponent will be. Speculations had been running wild all week, some of the names that popped up included returning stars, legends of the business and even the company’s owner Grace van Beek herself. One name that never came up was that of the former Valiant Champion Jackie Fowler. Lowri looked surprised, as she kept her eyes on the Bastard Of Bowland while he made his way to the ring, riling up the fans and inviting them to make some noise.
- The charismatic English man began to circle around Moss, testing her reflexes with some quick jabs to the face that the former Cloud Gate champion managed to dodge. Lowri did something similar with some low kicks, all of them checked by the Banksy Of Lucha. This study phase lasted a good minute, after which Jackie’s offense became more incisive. The frequency of his punches increased and Lowri had a harder time staying out of their way. When the first one connected, it rocked Moss and caused her to stumble back one step. More followed, a quick left and right boxing combination that hit the 2021 Fan Favorite on the face and torso, until a big uppercut knocked her on her back.
- Even though he loved throwing punches, not all of his offense was boxing based. He kept things diversified and unpredictable, alternating those right hands with displays of agility like the springboard leg lariat. It wasn’t easy for the popular MWE star to predict what the Bellend was going to do next, and that was forcing herself to wrestle a defensive match. That unpredictability, combined with his versatility and skills, had always been Fowler’s strong point, and the British Bullshit obtained a first near fall with his Proper Football Kick.
- Usually the MWE fans would be unanimously behind Lowri, but apparently there were some die-hard Jackie fans in Detroit tonight. And they were very loud. Something they had in common with the man they were cheering for. Not only Jackie talked throughout pretty much all the match, but when he lost momentum and found himself stuck in the corner with Lowri ready to to hit him with the Scarlet Barrage, he sang Adele’s hit “Fire To The Rain” in her face, distracting her long enough for him to slip out of the corner and slam her face into the top turnbuckle, quickly rolling her up with a school boy pin. Moss kicked out in two and half.
- Eventually, the Welsh woman was able to turn the tides with a bicycle knee strike. Finally able to dictate the pace for the first time in the match, Lowri decided to slow things down a bit, taking things to the canvas with a japanese arm drag and locking Fowler in an armbar. Considering how heavily he relied on those punches, she was going to take that away from him. A good plan in theory, but it didn’t take into account that the Bastard Of Bowland was just as good with his left as he was with the right. And even though Lowri’s submission skills did some damage to the opponent’s right arm, she soon found herself once again staring at the lights when a left uppercut caught her under the chin.
- Jackie never saw the Slice Of Heaven coming, not when Lowri looked like she was on her last leg. But the MWE fans knew that Lowri was not going down so easily and unlike Jackie, they were expecting the Welsh to eventually turn things around. Her foot connected with Jackie’s skull, flooring the former Valiant champion. Forget about the “conservative” approach Lowri tried earlier. Now she was going all out, whipping Jackie into the corner and hitting him with her patented Just For Kicks.
- After a first part almost dominated by Fowler, it was all Lowri in this phase. Her arsenal of kicks was on full display tonight, the near falls kept coming one after the other (worth mentioning a particularly close one obtained with the switchblade kick) and Jackie looked more and more in difficulty. His attempts at taking back control were constantly frustrated by the former Cloud Gate champion who, once again, came close to the win, this time with a swinging neckbreaker.
- With the umpteenth turnaround the match saw Jackie back in control, thanks to his Donkey Punch. Fowler stayed on the attack, eventually connecting with his Glock 17 (single knee facebreaker). That was usually the set-up for his Lancaster Bomb, and Lowri knew it oh so well. When the Bastard grabbed her arm and pulled her into the ripcord knockout punch she ducked the blow and found herself behind Jackie’s back, perfectly positioned for the Severn Bridge. She couldn't keep the bridging chickenwing for long, but she was faster than Jackie in getting up to her feet, granting herself the chance to strike first. And she did, hitting Fowler with her Golden Boot and turning the lights out for the Banksy Of Lucha, obtaining another prestigious win.
WINNER: Lowri Moss BY: Pinfall (Golden Boot), 19:51

RECORDED EARLIER
We open on empty seats, inside of an empty arena. The empty Little Caesars Arena to be precise, where in just a few short hours a huge MWE show will take place. Less than 24 hours before, it had been filled to the brim for night one of the same show. For now, there’s a few people running around the ring that is already set up, but very little movement outside of that. The camera pans out, showing it was actually shooting from near the top of the nosebleed seats, where The Anomaly sits by himself.
RAZE: When I made the choice to return to the ring I knew what I was after. I had the gold once and I had it with one of me best mates. Gold will always mean somethinin the wrestlin world but I bet you won’t remember the belts you held as much as you remember the fights ya got into. I came to Millenium because I knew I was gonna get the hardest hittin roster around, I knew I was gonna find someone that could rival in and I was gonna find people that could challenge me. I’m a big guy, a power hitter, a wild card, MWE is the only place that could house a bloke like me!
He chuckles, clenching his fist and looking down at his knuckles.
RAZE: So I wasn’t in the least bit surprised when that’s exactly what I did find here in the halls of Millenium. Took me but a few weeks to find the bloke that was my rival, and it happened inside that Dark Web battle royal. I don’t think I need to reply it for ya, ya already know what happened. Hearst and I tied with the same amount of eliminations which seemed quite right, eh? Since then we been embroiled in this wacky situation where we’re on the same side, but then we aren’t. Then we’re watchin each other from ringside, then we’re callin each other out on twitter. That’s just what happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force…at least I think that’s how that proverb goes. Ya know what the fock I’m sayin’!
He stood up, and for the first time you can see his get up. He’s still in his studded black cutoff vest and black jeans, definitely needing to change before his match tonight.
RAZE: All that mumbojumbo leads us to right here and right now. Hearst was able to defeat his opponent faster than me last week, which gave him the power to choose the stipulation for our match. To be honest I didn’t give one fock what Devin was gonna pick because no matter what I knew it was gonna be a fight for all fights. It was gonna be an explosive brawl!
RAZE walked down the empty aisle, leading to the main stairwell.
RAZE: So the explodin’ ring barbedwire deathmatch? Well that just seems pretty fitting, eh? No way one of us was goin to walk out of a singles bout and be able to put the other down. We’d need a time limit and even then who knows how long we woulda been in the ring for, who knows if we woulda been able to get a winner in a match like that. But with this kinda set up, we’re gonna have to all but kill the other one if we wanna put him down. I know that’s what you’re gonna have to do to me if you plan on winnin, Hearst! You know this isn’t gonna be an easy one, it’s gonna take all you have, and when I put you down I’ll be able to say I bested my truest rival. The carnage tonight may be too much for ya to watch but by the time we’re done, you’re gonna know who belongs at the top of the MWE tower! You’re gonna know who has the hardest fist, the strongest power - and it’s me. RAZE! I AM BOUND FOR GREATNESS!
He screamed out to the open arena as loud as he could, it echoing within the vast space. His veins were popping, fists clenched, ready to bleed. Ready to explode. Blackout.
Exploding Ring Barbed-Wire Death Match
Devin Hearst VS RAZE
- The moment Devin Hearst won the right to name the stipulation for this match, everybody knew this was going to be brutal and violent, but nobody was quite expecting THIS. Barbed wire ropes replaced the traditional ones, but that wasn’t all. They were set to explode upon contact, setting this up to be one of the most dangerous matches in the company’s history. And the most disturbing part, was that the decision didn’t come from a place of hate, as the relationship between Hearst and RAZE was closer to a “healthy rivalry”, some might dare say based on respect too.
- A slugfest was probably the most appropriate term to describe this match, at least in the first minutes. Both heavy hitters, they immediately engaged in a back and forth exchange in the middle of the ring. And with this being a deathmatch, nobody really cared about them using closed fists to speed up the process of weakening the opponent. The goal for them both was pretty obvious, incapacitate the opponent enough to push them into the explosive barbed wire ropes.and, at the same time, keep themselves well far away from them.
- Hearst threw RAZE toward the ropes, but the Englishman was able to slide on the canvas and under them, landing safely on the outside. That left him in a bit of a conundrum. How could he now get back in the ring with Hearst on the prowl? Every attempt saw the former World champion trying to grab him, and everybody knew that as soon as he managed to do that, he would blow him up. RAZE’s only chance to get out of this situation was to grab the opponent’s foot and drag him toward himself. It was a true miracle that Devin didn’t touch the ropes as the former [R]evo tag team champion pulled him out of the ring. But he didn’t really have the time to sigh in relief as the powerhouse pulled the unthinkable, liting Hearst and throwing him into the ropes. Hearst’s lower back hit the edge of the ring, but his shoulders touched the lower part of the barbed wire ropes, cutting through his skin. The worst part though was without a doubt the explosion that knocked him flat on his chest on the floor below.
- Hearst wasn’t moving, seemingly out cold. This made it a lot more complicated for RAZE to pick his deadweight up and push him back into the ring. And while that side of the ropes was not going to explode anymore, the barbed wire could still hurt. The Anomaly had to be extra careful as he entered the ring, taking a little too long. Hearst had time to recover and when RAZE got within reach, he hit him with a low blow. With all his might he then whipped RAZE across the ring with an irish whip. The momentum caused the barbed wire ropes to collapse under the weight of RAZE's body and the Englishman fell on the outside with a bang.
- As if the explosion wasn’t unpleasant enough, the Anomaly was now stuck, trapped in a tangle of barbed wire. Blood was dripping on his upper body, both from the back and chest. The sharp edges also cut through his pants and the skin of his leg, painting red stripes on his black gear. It took a good couple of minutes and the help of the referee to disentangle the man, time Hearst used to recover and plan his next move.
- The Seven Headed Beast was ruthless in his offense, showing no mercy for the wounded opponent. If anything, he treated those wounds as targets, stomping on the cut on RAZE’s leg and pushing down with the sole of his boot. RAZE was not giving up, proving once again that he was one of the toughest SOBs in the company. He tried to fight back with some punches but, weakened as he was, those turned out to be too slow and easy for Hearst to dodge. The founder of Sandstorm Inc threw some punches of his own, connecting to RAZE’s jaw. A push kick to the chest shoved the Brit back into the barbed wire, causing another explosion. This had to be over now, right? No way that RAZE could kick out of that too…
- Hearst began to wonder what else he needed to do to beat RAZE. Only one side of the ring hadn’t exploded yet, and that was where Devin dragged his opponent. His idea was to throw him into the barbed wire with the Desperado (throwing releasing suplex) but the Anomaly fought back and managed to block the attempt, pushing Hearst back to the center of the ring. RAZE stumbled away from the danger zone and glanced over at the opponent, who was charging at full speed. He managed to step aside and push Hearst into the ropes on a “safe side”. No explosions, just some painful barbed wire stuck in the pecs for Hearst.
- It was only a matter of time before Devin could crush the last bit of resilience in RAZE. But right when he was about to strike the final blow, the same guy who helped Julian in the opening contest hopped over the barricade and stared at the former World champion. “You want some, motherfucker? Come get it!” Heart shouted and number three entered the ring, ready to fight. Devin had different plans and immediately kicked him in the crotch before planting him on the canvas with a spinebuster. Another guy, dressed as the first but with the number 4 slid inside the ring behind Hearst’s back and blindsided him with a blow to the back of the head. Julian Savell was there too, carrying his trademark loaded umbrella and he used it to smack Hearst’s on the skull. Number Four and Julian then helped RAZE to pick up the opponent and connect his Atomic Bomb, obtaining a very controversial win.

Julian, RAZE and number 4 celebrated in the ring. Number 3 was about to join them but before he could get up, Hearst grabbed his balaclava and pulled revealing him as ...
WADE MANSON!
The Liberty wrestler had finally joined his former tag partner RAZE in MWE. But why are they siding with Savell? And who the hell is Number Four?
With only the main event left for the night, the excitement was at an all time high. The World TItle will be on the line in a rematch from the infamous 2/3 falls main event at Millennium Centum between the champion BROOOKFORD and the challenger Melissa Reeves. Before the anticipated battle started, it was time from an announcement from the Millennium General Manager Elsa McCarthy. After a quick greeting, she cut straight to the chase.
Elsa McCarthy: With the upcoming main event comes the end of another season for our weekly shows.
There was some rumbling coming from the fans.
Elsa McCarhty: Millennium and Riot will be back in September, but that doesn't mean MWE programming will go on a holiday: More details about our Summer Tour as well as all the info about tickets will soon be revaled on our official Twitter account, but I can tell you that we will be holding shows from some of the best and most renowned holiday resorts.
This news, instead, was welcomed with loud cheers.
Elsa McCarhty: The main attraction and centerpiece of this Summer Tour will be, of course, our annual Battle For The Briefcase tournament. 16 wrestlers will be competing throughout the summer for the unique opportunity given by the Briefcase. A title shot they can cash in at any time and the power to book or change the stipulations of any match.
She let the vocal fans settle down before continuing.
Elsa McCarhty: But this is not the only reason I came out. A few weeks ago I promised that there will be consequences for whoever attacked Tiffany Lynn-Page and forced her to vacate the tag team titles.. Well, now we that we know who did it, and really, we shouldn't be surprised at all, it's time to let Olly and Karen know what these consequences will be.
All sorts of suggestions were shouted by the fans, from firing them to stripping them of the titles. Elsa shook her head.
Elsa McCarhty: We considered those options, but then opted for a different path. K2O will be defending the titles on every Summer Tour show, and in all those matches the championship advantahe will be suspended, meaning that if they try to leave, get counted out or get disqualified, they will lose the titles.
More cheers coming from the Detroit crowd.
Elsa McCarhty: As for their first opponents? It will be the team the share the record for the longest reign with, APE, whatever combination Duke Andrews, Alan Envy and REDD Thunder decide to go with. Last but not least if... When K2O will eventually lose the titles, they won't be able to challenge for them for six months.
Elsa stood there for another momeent before sending a message to the K2O and the rest of the roster. Actions have consequences.
MWE World Championship Match
BROOKFORD © VS Melissa Reeves
- Another day at the job. That was how, with his usual confidence, BROOKFORD described this match, his fourth defense. But no matter how confident one is, how strong and accomplished or what happened in your previous, controversial encounter, facing Melissa Reeves will never be another day at the office. And BROOKFORD learned it the hard way as soon as the bell sounded, when the Reaver began throwing a whirlwind of kicks toward him, forcing him to back down into the ropes.
- Melissa was on fire, focused and determined to put the MWE World championship around her waist for a second time. Her game plan was working perfectly, constantly staying in movement to keep herself out of BROOKFORD’s grasp and use her quick strikes to wear him down and set him up for moves like the running DDT she used to score the first near fall.
- The World champion had a rough start, but eventually he managed to turn things around. All he needed was one shot, an uppercut right under Mel’s chin to floor the challenger. The Problem Solver looked down at her, mumbling something before slowly walking closer and beginning to stomp her into the ground. In no rush whatsoever, BROOKFORD reached down and pulled her up to her feet, sending her into the ropes with an Irish whip and throwing her in the air with a back body drop. The landing was pretty rough for the Australian, but the worst part was the running senton the champ connected right after, from which she kicked out in two and half.
- The champion kept a slow and methodical pace, seeing it as the best way to counter Mel’s quick attacks. One particularly effective way to keep control was wrapping his strong arms around her torso in a tight bear hug and squeezing the life out of her. Melissa tried to wriggle out of it, but as soon as BROOKFORD felt his grasp loosening, he turned the hug into a suplex, launching the challenger across the ring.
- After being manhandled by the Problem Solver, Melissa needed to take a break and rolled under the bottom rope, laying on the apron. With great calm BROOKFORD approached her and grabbed her by the air, pulling the Aussie up to a vertical base and suplexed her back in the ring. Reeves was able to shift her weight as she was being held up vertically, landing behind the champion and dragging him down with a backstabber.
- The crowd came to life when Melissa began building momentum once again. The tactic was still the same, hard and fast kicks to the legs and ribs leading up to DDTs and neckbreakers of all sorts. After all, it’s not like she could think of suplexing the bigger man, right? Besides, things were going quite well for her. Her shotgun dropkick sent BROOKFORD sitting in the corner, his head bouncing hard against the middle turnbuckle and leaving him dazed. From the apron, Melissahit him with a slingshot dropkick and quickly climbed to the top rope, flying in with her From Above shooting star press. Another count of two.
- And just when BROOKFORD thought he had figured her out, Melissa suddenly changed her strategy, going for the leg and taking down the champion. The next step was to lock him in her patented Iron Lock, the excruciating knee bar that gave her so many wins in her career. The submission was applied right in the middle of the ring, the ropes seemed out of reach for the Problem Solver and the pressure and torque Mel put his leg in were making him groan in pain. The easiest way and fastest way out of it was to just pound at her leg with those stone-like fists until Mel had to let him go.
- The challenger really did a number on the champion’s leg. BROOKFORD tried to shake some feeling back into it but the leg was truly hurting. Realizing he was acting on borrowed time, that leg had a huge target on it and Mel was definitely going to try another submission sooner rather than later, one that could end his reign. He had to act, and act quickly. Almost offering up that leg to his opponent, baiting her in and smacking her across the back with a forearm strike. His power moves were his best chance to turn the tides quickly, even though lifting the opponent painted a grimace of pain on his leg. A price he was willing to pay, considering he also dropped Mel on that injured knee with a devastating backbreaker. The pain this gave him cost BROOKFORD a few valuable seconds before he could get on top of Mel, and you have to wonder if perhaps a faster cover would have earned him the three. He seemed to think so, as he showed his frustration by slamming his fist on the canvas. But the victory was just around the corner, a couple of minutes of back and forth against Mel before he was able to set her up for the Problem… Solved.
