2x16 THE BIG PUNCH

As an unusual addition to the show tonight, we cut to footage from the phone of Shaina Sheridan. Recorded live on her phone in the middle of a night this week, it was simply of close-up of her, dressed down and lying in bed (although still wearing her make-up), talking to her massive following, which was more than active in the live chat. There was a flood of emojis in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Shaina Sheridan:
Hi lovelies! It's Shaina here. Just wanted to pop in and tell you guys to check me out on our next big show. Guess who's headlining the show again? That's right, it's me and Walker!

She lets out a long sigh at the thought of her fellow tag team champion as the live chat postively responds to his mention. She's been mentioning him in her daily live streams for weeks now, leaving many to question what's really going on between them.

Shaina Sheridan:
I'm so lucky to be champions with that hunk. He really knows how to treat a girl right. He tells me all the things that I wanna hear, and he has taught me so much about being in the ring. Your girl is really rocking the ring, and I've got some really good company for the ride!

There's a mixture of love, support and even jealousy from the live chat; all demonstrated with a wide variety of emojis.

Shaina Sheridan:
Oh wow, chat is really active tonight. Thank you guys all so much!

This usually marks the part of her streams where she begins reading the chat, particularly her donations, and answers their random questions. The first one immediately caught her eye.

Shaina Sheridan:
Are me and Walker a thing? Well, you know me guys, I'm not one to kiss and tell.

She gives a wink to the camera, which creates a frantic collection of love hearts and side-eyes to appear in the live chat.

Shaina Sheridan:
Are me and Walker prepared for our match? Well of course sweetie. Your girl has been learning alot from my man.

There's a little emphasis on the last part of that answer, which causes even more love hearts emojis.

Shaina Sheridan:
Shaina for the Gold Star? Well as much as I'd love to make that happen, my focus is on defending my team title this week. I'll deal with Addison when the time comes.

She takes another moment to read a few more questions before picking another one out.

Shaina Sheridan:
A shame Bebe isn't booked? Yeah I know right? I mean how many times have I offered her an olive branch? If she didn't reject my support in the first place, maybe she'll actually be a part of the show, right?

Another pause, but instead of reading through the questions, she takes a moment to think about her last answer.

Shaina Sheridan:
You know, I kinda feel bad for Bebe. She's been awfully sad lately. It's kinda upsetting.

She reads what were obviously loyalists sucking up to Shaina by trashing Bebe in the live chat.

Shaina Sheridan:
Hey come on guys, that's not true. No one deserves that kind of treatment. I do genuinely feel bad for her. I mean I don't even think she has any friends around here. Maybe I should try being her friend? I don't know...

A few more comments fly by.

Shaina Sheridan:
Oh no, don't get me wrong, me and Walker are still a thing. We are THE champs after all! But Bebe...I think she could use a friend...

The look on her face shows sympathy; very uncharacteristic for Shaina.

Shaina Sheridan:
I think that'll do for tonight. Goodnight guys, talk to you in the morning!

That's where the stream ends, and we cut back to the show.

Singles Match
Addison McKinley VS Luis Rivera

The Gold Star voiced her opinion and made it clear that she doesn't think Luis deserves this opinion, and that he, just like Bey, is only here because of his name. The former boxer shrugged his shoulders as Addison repeated those words to him, he had already given up any hope to change her mind and preferred to focus on the match.
McKinley started off very aggrissevely, throwing some kicks that Luis managed to dodge, backing down toward the ropes. A sudden punch from the Gold Star tested Rivera's reflexes but the Californian wasn't taken off guard. He ducked the right hand and fired off with a hook that caught Addi on the side of the head. A real KO blow that instantly floored the Gold Star. Luis made the cover and obtained a shocking win.
After the referee raised his hand in victory, Lucho looked down at the opponent and extended his hand to her. Addison slapped it away and stormed off the ring.

WINNER: Luis Rivera

Rainer Nordhagen was the first one in, opposite of Walker, and wasted no time going after his counterpart. The former Gold Star hammered him down to one knee and hit the ropes, bouncing off with a running knee right to the back of the head.
Walker got on all fours trying to get up but he was dropped to the mat with a kick to the gut, courtesy of his German-Australian opponent. Nordhagen dragged the New York native over to his corner and tagged in Erika. She hopped over the top rope and stuck another kick into the mid section of Walker as he tried to get up.
Eldon ripped him across the chest with some knife edge chops before attempting an irish whip. She went for a big boot on the rebound but Walker slid under her leg and quickly popped to his feet, catching Eldon as she turned around with a cutter.
Walker tried to reach Shaina in his corner but Erika grabbed him by the foot. He broke free with an enziguri and finally managed to tag his partner in.
Sheridan came in and started swinging at Erika with some chops to the chest, pinning her in a neutral corner. Eldon raked the Video Blogger's eyes and switched position, blocking the opponent in the corner and beginning to kick her in the midsection. As Shaina dropped to a seated position, Erika showed her mean side by putting her boot to the opponent's throat and began to choke her.
Rainer was back in the ring and he seemed absolutely in control, scoring a near fall with a suplex into a double knee backbreaker.
Walker constantly supported Shaina, almost guiding her as she started to fight back. To her credit, she has made great strides in the past weeks, her technique was looking more polished, her strikes cleaner and even her confidence received a huge boost. Eventually she was able to get some separation between herself and the former Gold Star and connect a standing dropkick. Rainer pushed himself up quickly but an axe kick dropped him down again. At this point Shaina hooked the leg but Erika made the save.
The two members of Team Noir worked well over the next minutes, isolating Rainer in their corner. A few pinning predicaments were attempted by Walker and Shaina but Nordhagen survived.
The resourceful former Gold Star caught Walker off guard with a throat strike and immediately followed with a stunner. This was the opportunity to finally make the tag to Erika but, as he turned back toward her, he froze on the spot.
Behind the unaware blonde Gabriel Landry was standing with a baseball bat in his hand. Nordhagen shouted at Eldon, warning her about the threatening presence behind her. She turned around with a look of terrot, begging Gabriel to leave her alone. As the duo's attention was focused on Landry, Walker took advantage and pinned Rainer for the three with a bridging German suplex. Landry just raised his bat and pointed at both Erika and Rainer before dropping the object on the floor and leaving.
