We then see a little bit of an exclusive for online as Robbie Hayden has a microphone in hand and he is walking with a purpose with the camera man lagging behind him. He finally reaches the locker room and with the door cracked open he pushes his way through. The only person populating this locker room is Seth Iser and it seems he’s just alone with his thoughts. He’s changed into a professional black and teal suit and his head and wrapped up like hell considering the wound over his skull.
Robbie Hayden
Seth you…and Julian had one of the bloodiest matches in the history of this company but you were the one who emerged victorious. How are you feeling after that measure of revenge?
Seth just calmly turns his head to make eye contact with Robbie as he’s just been in deep thought back here.
Seth Iser:
I feel…like hell.
He answers that in a sobering tone as if he’s just relieved another nightmare for a moment before taking a deep breath.
Seth Iser:
Julian wasn’t the only one who kind of found an old piece of himself in there. I did as well. And it was called what it was for a reason. It was atoning. I had to atone for something I had done in the past and know that I’ll always have that part of me in there.
Robbie Hayden
Do you feel…good about what you did?
Seth just sternly looks at Robbie like a veteran who has seen a lot of wars. That look actually makes Robbie take a half step back.
Seth Iser:
No. But I had already made peace with what I had to do while I was working it all out in Japan. If someone ever crosses that line with you…that’s something you have to do. They have to be hurt. They have to remember that match for the rest of their life. Ten years ago, I’d answer differently…but I’m not who I was ten years ago. Nobody is, kid. Hell, I had to be reminded about my own hubris and it took…Julian Nelson and that damned soldier bodyguard to do it. And it’s my own damn fault. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. I have to accept that for what it is. But I survived the ordeal.
The veteran nods his head and points at himself, a moment of self reflection, as he starts to pull himself up to his feet towering over the interviewer getting this rare post show word.
Robbie Hayden
So what’s next? You never got a rematch for the World Title…you want to pursue that?
That earns a much more cross look from Iser as he glares into Robbie.
Seth Iser:
Rematches…are bullshit, Robbie. That’s one thing I still believe. I had to kick everyone’s ass to earn the opportunity for the briefcase. You know this. That gave me the right to be the World Champion. So guess what…I want to be the first two time World Champion recognized under the MWE brand since Christopher Kane. And I want to do it my way…by kicking the ass of whoever they put in front of me until it leads to one man…
He then sneers toward the camera and that’s somehow more intimidating then his usual one considering the blood stained wrap around his head.
Seth Iser:
It leads to you BROOKFORD. I know you’d give me the title opportunity. I understand why. I have something you need. And you have something I want. I wouldn’t say no obviously…but if it’s all the same to you, champ…and I think this means more than tweeting it, I’d rather kick everyone’s ass to get to you. It’d be much more satisfying that way.
He then glares at Robbie briefly again, a little sour about the rematch thing before glancing at the camera.
Seth Iser:
The vacation’s over. My hubris has been dealt with. The personal matter is addressed…and I’m back and in shape. And I’m going to beat the hell out of everyone in front of me to get what I want and win World Title number five. That’d be rare air…winning a World Championship at my age yet again with how the industry is. But I’m damn sure going to do it. I could face Duke, Lowri, Melissa, Gareth, or the god damn Pope and I’d have the same attitude! But I will be the World Champion…one more time.
And he takes one more step toward the camera as he’s grabbing his luggage, the adrenaline starting to course through him.
Seth Iser:
And there will be no one in the end…that can stop me.
With that, he isn't allowing Robbie to get another question in, he’s clearly done talking as he walks out of the locker room.
