The Principal's Office March 4, 2021 11:22 AM
As the camera cut inside the office, we saw Gianluigi Vaccaro sitting behind his desk. The principla was talking on the phone, apparently making arrangements for the next guest seminar.
Gianluigi Vaccaro: ... I'm noticing that some of the students are developing a certain attitude at bending rules. Far from me to judge, I've been in this business long enough to understand there are quite a few... Interpretations to the rule book.
He paused as he listened to what the person on the other side spoke. And they talked a lot.
Gianluigi Vaccaro: Everyone is free to choose their path, my goal is to give them the tools to become successful in this business. Taking shortcuts and not getting caught is one way to do it, perhaps not the most noble and definitely not my favorite but to each their own, I guess.
This time the pause was shorter.
Gianluigi Vaccaro: Not to mention this could be very useful to the other students. It could help them understanding certain patterns, predicting that kind of behavior from their future opponents and even counter them.
He nodded his head and smiled as his interlocutor added their two cents.
Gianluigi Vaccaro: I'm sure you have a lot of knowledge you can share with the students. You're a master strategist and one of the titans in this business. The way you climbed to the top of this company and won the MWE World Championship is the ultimate evidence of how brains are just as important, and sometimes even more important than muscles.
At this point it was clear who the other person was. The Ultimate Hunter, Wrestling's Greatest Mind, the MWE World Champion Seth Iser.
Gianluigi Vaccaro: Thank you, Mr. Iser. We're looking forward to have you here next week.
Team Title MatchTeam Strike © (Olly & Tiana Petrova-Hammond & JJ Night & Cash Blye) VS Team Ali (Millie Smith & Dez Ali & Trinity Thompson & Rian Ellis) - The match started with the former Gold Star Tiana Petrova-Hammond taking on Rian Eliis. Rian quickly went to lock up for a test of strength but ended up caught in Tiana's headlock. She quickly transitioned into an armbar takedown, bending Ellis' elbow in a way it wasn't supposed to bend. Rian quickly went for the ropes and rested her foot on the bottom one.
- Despite Rian's attempts to gain some momentum and exploit his speed, Tiana controlled the first part of the match due to her superior technique. He did score a near fall though, with a russian legsweep followed by a standing moonsault.
- After he made the tag, Trinity entered the ring to take on her best friend. And perhaps it was that friendship that pushed them to try outdo the other, engaging in one of the hardest exchange to memory. Tiana still came out on top with a jumping knee, followed by a crane kick that sent the young opponent on her back.
- After barely kicking out from a sunset flip pin, Tiana made the cover to Cash, refusing to tag any of the boy in.
- Blye's impact in the match wasn't the best she could hope for. She ran right into a standing dropkick from Trinity, and when she tried to rise back to her feet, she ate a shoot kick to the chest. And a second, and then a third one. Five of those hard kicks landed on the young girl's chest, but somehow she managed to avoid the following superkick.
- With a springboard moonsault press, Cash turned the tables and collected a count of two. Before Trinity could get up, she tagged JJ in, and together they performed a double ddt.
- Night whipped Thompson in a neutral corner and charged in at full speed. Trin raised her boot but he saw it coming and slowed down, avoiding the impact and grabbing her foot. He pushed it down and rocked the opponent with a punch to the jaw and an uppercut, throwing her in the middle of the ring with a monkey flip. He followed with a running shooting star press but Trinity kicked out in two.
- In the past couple of months, Trinity's striking ability improved greatly. JJ had the chance to test that when she caught him with a vicious savate kick.
- Dez Ali's rivalry with JJ reinvigorated when the son of team Ali's leader entered the ring and ran at the stunned opponent in the corner, delivering a running back elbow. He then followed with hard pinches to the ribs and face, ignoring the referee's plea to break it up. He even risked a disqualification for an illegal choke held longer than the four count.
- Ali was in rare form tonight, showing off a little bit to his "student" Millie Smith who was watching and applauding him in the corner. His suplexes were nice to see, almost perfect on a technical point of view, but they were also effective, wearing JJ down quickly to the point where, if it wasn't for Cash, he wouldn't have kicked out from the big german suplex.
- Dez delivered JJ on a silver platter to Millie, asking her to finish him off. But her slight hesitation before jumping for the sparkle splash allowed Night to roll away and made the tag to Olly.
- Olly entered the ring, kicked Millie in the ribs and tagged himself out. Hard to tell if Tiana was more shocked or upset, but Olly smirked at her as he stepped outside the ring and simply said "Team play".
- Tiana's kicks were wreaking havoc, Millie was unable to block or dodge them and soon was forced to a difficult kick out at the last second.
- Milllie nailed a tornado ddt out of nowhere and immediately rushed to her corner, making the tag once again to Dez. Tiana looked dizzy but ready to take on the MVP, but Olly tapped her on the shoulder and took the tag, flashing that same smirk he had when he made the tag minutes ago. Tiana, instead, looked even more pissed than before.
- Olly took Dez down with a clothesline and tried to apply a figure four. Ali extended his legs to push the opponent through the ropes and out of the ring. Olly was quick to climb back on the apron where he got kicked in the stomach by Dez, who then attempted to suplex him back in the ring. He lifted him, but Olly was able to rotate in mid-air in a sort of neckbreaker, causing Dez to bounce throat first on the top rope.
- Scooping Dez up for a bodyslam, Olly instead hung him upside down in the corner in the infamous tree of woe position, delivering a flurry of kicks to the chest for a full five count.
- Ali had to pull a trick from his bag, raking Olly's eyes to put some space between him and Oliver, enough to get to his corner and make the tag to Rian. Ellis entered with a springboard hurricanrana and almost got the win for his team.
- Rian was in full control, getting once again close to the three with a springboard crucifix pin. Things suddenly changed when Olly caught him with a scoop powerslam.
- After a double tag, Millie and Cash were back in the ring. Smith stole a page from her sister Luna and caught Blye with a spanish fly.
- If Cash relied heavily on JJ, Millie brought into play her usual tag partner in Team Trillie, Trinity Thompson. For several minutes this looked like a rematch from Domino Effect, the two teams went back and forth trading near falls.
- Dez received the tag from Millie and found himself going one on one with Tiana. The russian-american was taking out all her frustration on Dez, and Olly's continuous "encouragement" was only making it worsr. For Ali. Her kicks were even stiffer than usual, and the knee strikes were nothing less. One of those caught Dez on the side of the head as he was picking himself up, Tiana made the cover but only got a two.
- With a cutter out of nowhere, Ali went really close to the three. It was Cash who saved her team member, and Dez made her pay for it with a malicious superkick to the back of the head as she was leaving the ring.
- JJ Night stepped in to avenge her, Rian Ellis joined them inside the ring and everyone else followed suit. Team Strike was outnumbered since Cash was laying on the outside. Olly quickly evened the playfield as he sent Trinity flying over the top rope.
- Tiana was down again, this time courtesy of Rian's snap ddt. Olly avenged her with a bicycle kick that sent Ellis out of the ring. He had one in store for Dez too, but Ali moved out of the way and Olly took out Tiana instead.
- He was checking on his team partner when Dez shoved him out of the ring and hooked the leg, Olly was right back on her feet, and it looked like he could get back in time to save Tiana. But he hesitated for the briefest moment to clutch his knee, and by the time he slid in and pushed Dez off Tiana, the referee had already reached the three.
