The Gym February 24th, 2021 5:00 pm
The girl who refers to herself as The Original B.A.E. can be seen in black sweatpants, white sneakers, sleeveless t-shirt and taped up fist. She is using those same fist to show the punching bag in front of her who’s boss. The aggression she is showing the inanimate object is a bit scary, the viewer hasn’t seen this side of Faizah before.
Right hook.
Left hook.
Right jab.
Right jab.
Left uppercut.
The piercing sound of her primal scream echoes off the walls of the gym, with no one else in the gym, her scream radiated a little louder. Faizah drops down to her knees. The sweat is dripping down her face. She’s tired. No telling how long she’s been here. That’s when she walks in…
Tiffany Rollins. The former Cloud Gate champion, was wearing her own gym gear as she stepped into the gym. Instantly noticing the Original B.A.E. on the floor, she tried to maintain her composure as she walked in. Their interactions in the Academy were very few so far, so this was a rare opportunity for Tiff to address one of the top stars in the facility.
Tiff: Hey…
Faizah snapped out of the zone she was in to look directly at Tiff. She uses the back of her hand to wipe what sweet was left on her forehead. Faizah summons the strength to stand up. She takes a deep breath.
Faizah Marshall: What’s up. I wasn’t expecting anyone to show up, hey, I’m not complaining.
Faizah flashes a quick smile.
Faizah Marshall: How are you today?
Tiff, in a slight change of demeanor since arriving in the Academy, smiles back, though she’s still slightly awkward as she enters Faizah’s presence.
Tiff: I’m good… What about you?
Faizah, still tired from the workout she gave herself, looks at the hand she used to wipe the sweet off her forehead. She sighs.
Faizah Marshall: I don’t know anymore to be honest. I put all this pressure on myself to be the one to humble Faith. Kept telling myself that person needed to be me. Domino Effect I choked, big time. People keep telling me she had to pull the tights. She didn’t beat me clean. None of that changes how empty I’ve felt inside since. Getting another chance should make me feel better. Just not the same.
Faizah pulls her attention away from her hand to look straight at Tiff, who just stands there, looking like she doesn’t know what to do with herself. Faizah chuckles a little.
Faizah Marshall: Every day I’ve been punching that bag, pretending it’s Faith. Expecting to feel better. I still feel empty. I don’t feel like... me. Who knows what is going to happen the next time I get my hands on Faith? I can’t stand that bitch. I just... wanna break her face, ya know?
That seems to have broken the ice as Tiff chuckles with her and sits next to her.
Tiff: Oh believe me, I know…
She lets out a sigh of her own.
Tiff: I know what it’s like to deal with that kind of pressure. To have expectations that everyone expects you to meet. Even when I came here, everyone expected me to whip everyone’s asses into shape or something. And...well...look how that’s turning out.
She lets out another chuckle, though it wasn’t as confident this time.
Tiff: I ain’t the same girl I used to be. I have no goddamn idea how I managed to cope, and quite frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever reach that level again. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned since coming here, everyone here has the potential of being so much better than I ever was, and that’s including you. Genuinely touched by Tiff commenting on her potential, the melancholy expression Faizah had warms up. She places a hand over her heart. A smile forms.
Faizah Marshall: That... that... means a lot. Thank you. Thank you very much. But I think it’s only fair that I apologize. I did expect you to come in here and be World Killer, Longest Reigning Cloud Gate Champion, Tiff. Sorry for putting unneeded pressure on you.
Tiff shakes her head.
Tiff: Don’t apologize. I’m the one who should be sorry for letting so many people down. I just hope I can still offer something to the rest of you. I mean, quite honestly, I ain’t even on any of your levels yet. You could be headlining pay per views by the end of this year. I know losing sucks, but trust me, don’t do what I did...
Faizah nods.
Faizah Marshall: I may have lost at Domino Effect but there is one promise I can still keep. I warned Faith I would be her shadow until the day we left The Academy. A girl has promises to keep.
Faizah’s face becomes more and more animated.
Faizah Marshall: Thanks for the talk, Tiff. Appreciate it. How about we workout together? Got plenty left in the tank. Let’s do this.
Tiff is clearly taken back by this.
Tiff: You serious? I mean…
Not wanting to disappoint the Original B.A.E. even more, she reluctantly accepts.
Tiff: Sure. I’ll try my best to keep up.
Her awkward smile was met by great enthusiasm as Faizah effortlessly springs back up to her feet, encouraging Tiff to do the same, oblivious to the obvious size difference. This was about to be one heck of a workout.
Singles Match
JJ Night VS Rian Ellis
- A very focused JJ attacked Rian right off the sound of the bell, backing Ellis into the corner. He played by the rules, granting the clean break as soon as the referee asked for it.
- A similar scene happened moments later, with the role reversed. Rian didn't return the courtesy, landing a few hard shots up to the count of four.
- Ellis followed with a corner splash but JJ moved out of the way, and he went face first against the turnbuckle. Night quickly rolled him up with a schoolboy, obtaining a two count.
- As Ellis got up to his feet, he ate a dropkick that sent him back into the corner. JJ went for the jumping knee/bulldog combination but he only got the first part done as Rian pushed him away, avoiding getting his face planted on the canvas. And when JJ turned around, he blasted him with a bicycle kick.
- Ellis was wisely trying to limit the opponent's offense with a front facelock but JJ forced his way out of it with some punches to the mid-section and clocked him with a roundhouse kick.
- The first risky move from the high flier didn't pay out. JJ's diving moonsault found nothing but the waiting canvas as Rian rolled aside.
- Ellis followed with some knee drops to the lower back before picking JJ up and firing him against the ropes. On the rebound, he caught him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
- Ellis' aggressive side was on display today. He mounted on top of the grounded opponent and hammered down on him with lefts and rights. The referee counted up to four and Rian let him go. When he went to pick him up, JJ tried a quick inside cradle, but only garnered a two count.
- Both men stood up to their feet and JJ charged at Rian before he lept up, draped his arm around his neck and dropped him with a sling blade.
- A flurry of kicks from Night left Ellis stunned, unable to defend from the superkick that sent him against the ropes. As he bounced back though, he leveled JJ with a clothesline.
- Both men were struggling to get up to their feet, feeling the effects of over ten minutes of hard strikes. They eventually managed to when the count reached eight. starting to trade strikes again.
- Rian went for the killing blow with a running single leg dropkick, but he made the cover too close to the ropes and JJ managed to rest his foot on them.
- There was still fight in JJ, who created an opening with a jaw breaker and then nailed Rian with a ddt.
- After getting real close to the three with a brainbuster, JJ climbed to the top rope and jumped, landing on Ellis with a frog splash for the one, two, three.

Team Title MatchTeam Ali © (Faizah Marshall & Trinity Thompson) VS Team Strike (Faith Savell & Olly)
- The match started off with Olly and Trinity in the ring. The bell was still sounding when Olly took Thompson out with a clothesline that the young girl didn't see coming.
- Trin stumbled up to her feet but Olly immediately took her down again, this time with a jumping knee strike.
- Olly and Faith were working well together, using quick tags to isolate who they deemed as the weak link of Team Ali, taking her out with a superkick/spinning leg whip combination.
- The "weak link" had a lot of fight in her, and a bone to pick against the two opponents. Kick after kick, she turned the tides and left the Gold Star stunned, grabbing her by the back of her head and running toward her corner, slamming her face into the canvas before tagging Faizah in.
- Faizah lifted Faith up and grabbed her from behind. She went for a German suplex but Savell resisted and hit her with an elbow to the face, switching position with the challenger and attempting a suplex of her own. Marshall blocked the attempt but got blasted with a forearm to the back of the head from the Gold star who then shoved her chest first against the ropes, only to catch her with a snap german suplex on the rebound.
- Faith made the tag and Olly sprinted towards Faizah and leveled her with a sliding lariat. Olly dropped down and hooked the leg again going for another pin but Faizah managed to kick out again.
- Faizah dodged a bicycle kick and decked Olly with a discus elbow to the back of the head, sending him down to his knees. She tagged Trinity and began kicking Olly's back, while her partner did the same to the chest. Thompson then finished him with the superkick sraight to the face but Faith managed to dive in and rescue her partner.
- Olly's superior strength allowed him to take back control a spinebuster. He then used more direct strikes to wear down Trinity, obtaining a count of two with a scoop powerslam.
- Faith slowed down the pace, working on Trinity on the canvas and trying to submit her with an ankle lock. Thompson pushed herself up on his hands and crawled toward the ropes. Savell kept the submission locked in for four extra seconds before letting her go.
- Despite the bad leg, Trinity kept fighting, and she kept relying on those kicks, by far her best weapon. They might have been less powerful than the usual, and each one of them painted a painful expression on her face, but they still were very effective. A gamengiri kick caught Faith on the side of her head and bought an exhausted Trin enough time to reach her corner.
- Marshall came in all guns blazing, determined to make a statement against the champion she will challenge in a week, picking up a count of two with a standing moonsault after a flurry of knee strikes and elbows.
- Faith Savell surely had the opponent scouted and when she went for a diving crossbody, Faith popped up to her feet and delivered a brutal superkick, knocking the young woman down.
- Faith tried to end the match with her bridging northern lights suplex, but Faizah incredibly kicked out in two.
- After a stiff exchange, both girls began crawling to the respective corners and made tag to their partners. Trinity charged at Olly and planted him with an unexpected satellite ddt, a new addition in her arsenal that earned her a two.
- Olly looked still dazed after being dropped on his head, but Trinity wasn't slowing down with those kicks. He went straight for her eyes to interrupt the flurry of strikes, doubling the young girl over with a kick to the stomach before he planted her with a piledriver. Thompson had her foot on the bottom rope as Olly made the cover, at least until Faith pushed it down before the referee could see it.
