Before the Show
We come to someplace backstage where Saki, the Kawaii Deathmachine, sits alone on the floor. Despite there being chairs, tables and even equipment boxes all over the place Saki sits on the floor, lolipop hanging from her pink lips.
Saki
Tonight we come back to the fun, just when you thought ol’ Saki was done.
Even if there’s no stretcher match I come to you here, without a catch.
Kawaii Killer, all thriller, no filler, about to make this hotter than an overcooked microwave dinner.
Now Kasey Summers don’t be a bummer, it’ll be more fun then when you gave your boytoy a hummer.
I promise we’ll have fun, and won’t stop until it’s properly done.
Saki giggles to herself and rolls the lollipop between her fingers like some people can twirl drumsticks or pens.
Saki
Millennium hired the doctor of death, curing my patience of breath.
Kasey I hope you are fast, I’d hate for my fun not to last.
Hunting's no fun when your prey doesn't move
I'll put a gun to a bunny like choose
Say somethin' funny or bunny go boom
A toast to our fun, don’t worry I got all the booze
And when it’s done you will remember the bruise
Almost be kinky how we’ll love the abuse
The Singapore Slayer grins at the camera and pops her lollipop back into her mouth before standing up and skipping away
Christina smiles as she could be seen clad in a pair of glasses, and is wearing a made in 1987 Mega Man t shirt. Christina can’t help but smirk as she could be seen backstage playing Mega Man 3. The woman takes her NES controller and she seems to be really into the video game. She can’t help but offer a wicked grin as she turns her head to that of the camera and begins to speak.
Christina Rose
Hello there to all of my little nerds, geeks, and blossoming roses. Millennium Wrestling has officially become the land of Christina Rose and I just want to say that it feels really good to be a part of such a wonderful and huge roster. You can rest assured that me being here is no mistake. I plan to unleash my superior gaming skills all across this company and for a woman like me it’s either first place or nothing at all.
Christina can’t help but chuckle as she continues to speak.
Christina Rose
And in my first match it seems like we are going to be treated to a big four way dance. It is going to feel like I am in a big game of Mario Kart. Where we all have three balloons and are fighting to be the last one standing. I won’t let my balloons get popped. I will always protect myself and I won’t stop until I emerge victorious with a huge win. I didn’t come all the way to this company to just lose it all. I came to reach the end game. To create the Let’s Play s so that others could follow suit and learn how things should be done. I came to make nothing less but an impact and I won’t let anybody get in the way of that.
Christina smiles as she runs her hands through her long purple hair as she can’t help but offer a grin.
Christina Rose
I love doing what I do. I have been in this business for 14 years now and I have always found new ways to reinvent myself. I am ready to have the best possible time in my career and the reason I came to this company is to put the fun back in wrestling. You can have fun while making an impact and I am the perfect example who is willing to showcase that very ideal. I know there are three other individuals who probably want to walk into Chicago and take the win for themselves but I just can’t let it happen. I need this win more than you could even realize. I need to be at the very top, and first impressions are by far the most important of any. So go ahead and bring on the competition and iwill make sure to answer every single challenge. Nothing will ever stop this rose from blossoming.
With that Christina can’t help but chuckle as she looks right into the camera.

BATTLE CRY
Live from the Enterprise Arena in Chicago, IL
Saturday, August 11, 2018
The show comes to life panning over pyrotechnic display on the Millennium Wrestling stage. For Battle Cry, two massive swords are crossed over the entrance, with the stage held up by girders designed to look like medieval weaponry: Two more swords stand at the end of the stage, with giant battle axes holding up the lighting fixtures. The cameras pan around the arena, showcasing the sold-out crowd, focusing in on a few of the fan-made signs:
"Be My VALENTINE" “RIP Tiffany” “WE WANT ARCHER” “Grace van Bitch” “Shut Up Meg” “#Daddy4Champ” “Tay All the Way” “Let’s Go Yang!” “LIBBEHHHHH” “WOLF VS HAWK” “GRAY IS GONNA KILL YOU” “RAYVEN FTW”
The show cuts to the broadcast table.
Bea Torres: “RAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Jared Idol: “What in the hell-”
Bea Torres: “It’s my BATTLE CRY!”
Jared Idol: “Oh for the love of-... Anyway, welcome one and all to Chicago, Illinois! We’re back in our home arena, and this place is PACKED with fans ready to see-”
Bea Torres: “BATTLE CRY!”
Jared Idol: “Yes, that.”
Bea Torres: “We’ve got HUGE matches planned! ALL THREE TITLES on the line!”
Jared Idol: “Jason Hawk takes on Nora Foley which… honestly, that could be a great match.”
Bea Torres: “But that main event! The undefeated streak of Eliza Valentine against the grit and determination of Jennifer Yang!”
Jared Idol: “We’ve heard so much about how Eliza has not lost in singles competition, but Jennifer doesn’t seem to be bothered by it. She beat Nora Foley herself to get to this point, you have to think her confidence is at an all-time high.”
Bea Torres: “Confidence can only do so much though. This is the Millennium Championship we’re talking about!”
Jared Idol: “We’ve got a long show before we get to that point… and up first we’ve got a rather unique situation. Chris Kane takes on… his sister?”
Singles Match
Britty Kane VS Christopher Kane
The Kane siblings are in the ring, the bell ringing as their contest is underway. Christopher and Britty circle around one another thinking of a lockup. Britty shoots in as Christopher backs away and grins having the size, experience and power advantage over his half sister. A smile creeps on his face as he tells Britty to go into the corner. She sighs watching him lay down in the middle of the ring, Christopher yelling for her to pin him so they can just get this over with. The Chicago crowd is confused as Britty covers him for the easiest match of her career. The crowd isn’t all too happy about what just transpired as Christopher gets back up to his feet. WINNER: Britty Kane BY: Pinfall, 0:30 |
Britty stands in the corner as Christopher demands a microphone from ringside to possible explain himself. The Chicago crowd waits to hear what he has to say this time.
Christopher Kane
There, sis, you got your win over your other brother. Are you happy? You got what you want. I never wanted to be in this match and you know it. The moment Chuck Matthews thought this was a good idea and made it, I knew what had to be done. I knew that he couldn’t win.
He pauses and looks at his sister.
Christopher Kane
So congrats, you beat Jordan and now you’ve beaten me. Next we’ll dig up dad’s corpse so you can pin him too so you can be the ultimate Kane. It’ll go good with that title you hold too.
Britty sighs and shakes her head once again upset with her older brother.
Christopher Kane
Look, I’m not mad at you. This isn’t about you. This isn’t really anyone else. This is about two people. Ace Watson and Chuck Matthews. The two people I cannot stand in this world anymore. The two people that if news broke they both had ALS, I wouldn’t shed a tear over it.
The crowd gasps at the lack of compassion for a possible disease neither would probably ever have.
Christopher Kane
I seriously can’t wait to get suspended over this because we all know it will happen. The best part about this right now? This is live. I cannot get silenced. This cannot get taken off a video hosting site over some bullshit over breaking company rules. You want to get a little real, let’s get a little real here.
Another pause.
Christopher Kane
Been wrestling for six years now, and I have yet to gain the acceptance of the fans, of my peers and a lot of people who hold more power in this sport than they should. I’m tired of it. I’m tired of the people. I’m tired of this company. I’m tired of the disrespect every where I go. I bust my ass just like everyone else in this sport does and what do I get for it? A giant shit sandwich and told to suck it up and deal with it while I see other people get coddled and babied and told how fucking great they are and it makes me want to puke!
He paces around the ring.
Christopher Kane
No one shakes hands in the back anymore. No one thanks the other person backstage, yeah I’m pulling back the curtain a little bit, for the match that night anymore. It’s all about what’s good for me. I tried putting this business first. I’ve set aside a lot of problems I’ve had with people for this sport.
Another pause as he sees that Britty hasn’t left the ring yet either, wanting to hear all of this first hand.
Christopher Kane
People in this sport for a year, less than a year, are better off than I am despite me putting in years of time and effort. I started this year with two championships, and yet I get told that my career is a joke, that I’m a joke, that some corpse in the ground was better than I could ever be. That I never got his charisma or his wrestling ability. Every single goddamn day I get compared to dad.
He shakes his head in disgust.
Christopher Kane
You people are saying that a child abuser, a wife beat, a serial cheater, an alcoholic, a guy who abandoned my sister that you see in this ring, and all the other shit he’s pulled is a better person and wrestler than me? No. I do not accept that. I never will accept that. But you people want to say that I’m a generic person in this sport? That I’m not as good as a dead guy? I’ll make it pretty simple then.
He takes a moment to collect himself and control his rage.
Christopher Kane
I quit.
The crowd gasps but he isn’t done.
Christopher Kane
I quit doing things by the book now. I’m done with it. Being a respectful, or as much as anyone can anymore, person in this sport has led to this. Chuck Matthews, Ace Watson, you both can keep ducking me. I will get both of you. I will get my hands on a certain championship too, because I’ve earned it. I’ve earned it more than most of the people in the back lacing up their boots as people kiss their ass on social media. Wrestling isn’t wrestling anymore, it’s a fucking popularity contest on Twitter and Instagram.
He slams his microphone down, trying to break it before leaving the ring. Britty is quick to follow him trying to get more insight on why he chose tonight for all of this.
Kate could be seen in the backstage area and it is there where she is placing tape around her wrists. She places her long blonde hair into a pony tail as she looks deeply into the eyes of the camera. She shakes her head as she seems a bit disgusted as she begins to speak.
Kate Steele
I have been in this company since the very beginning and I feel that since I have been here I haven’t been getting the proper respect that I know I deserve. Everybody knows that I had GVB beat right in the middle of the ring. I should be the Cloud Gate Champion but instead through some stupid bullshit I end up getting screwed that Bitch retains her title and I am forced to fight my way to the top again. So what did I do? I had to endure a week where I competed in two matches on one night. I had to win a tag team match to get a shot at the Lock Down Championship and no matter what has been placed in my path I have always found a way to jump over the hurdles.
Kate can’t help but offer a chuckle as she shakes her head and continues to speak.
Kate Steele
How much bullshit do I really need to tolerate? It just seems that whenever something good comes my way somebody always manages to beat me down behind my back. They attack me when they aren’t even looking and it’s really pissing me off. When am I going to get my proper respect! When am I going to get what rightfully belongs to me?! It never seems like what I do is ever enough. I just don’t know what to do anymore!
Kate shakes her head in utter disgust as she looks deep into the heart of the camera.
Kate Steele
What I do know however is that the Lockdown Championship is going to come home with me and I am going to do whatever it takes to get there. I feel like I have been getting a bunch of title opportunities and I just haven’t managed to capitalize in the right way yet. In this triple threat match it’s all going to be about me. It’s going to be about my moment, and through everything that is inside of me I guarantee that I am going to walk out as the winner. I am going to rock out like there is no tomorrow.”
Kate stands up as she looks deep into the heart of the camera.
Kate Steele
Somebody will be tapping out tonight, and nobody will be able to stop it from happening. Tonight everything goes in the way that I had hoped it to go. It’s my moment, and now it’s time for me to finally bring it home. Zelda you are going to pay for hitting me from behind. I will win and I won’t stop until I do. I hope everyone is ready because this Siren is about to sing.
With that Kate pie faces the camera as she walks away and we fade out on this image.
Lockdown Championship
Daddy's Rules
Zelda Gibbons (c) VS Kate Steele VS Tay KamrynDaddy's Rules
As if Daddy’s Rules wasn’t unusual enough, the addition of a third party made it all the more complicated. A bizarre, three-way handcuff was in use, binding Zelda, Tay, and Kate together. Astyn the Paddle took his rightful place in the corner of the ring. To win the Lockdown Championship, the paddle would need to be retrieved. Zelda utilized a similar tactic to the one she did against Cass Baumer weeks ago. Knowing that she would be the smallest wrestler in most fights, she opted to do what she did best: Distract and disrupt. Wherever possible, she tried to stay out of the way as Tay and Kate battled it out, Kate trying to gain the upper hand using a sequence of holds and takedowns. With Zelda’s wrist bound to them as well, though, it made fluid combinations of moves near impossible: Whenever Kate tried to transition her offense, she found her wrist pulled back by Zelda, preventing full range of motion. Similarly, with Tay on the mat, Kate and Zelda were forced to form a makeshift alliance to drag her across the ring so that they had more slack on the rope to continue their own fight. As the match went on, Kate was doing well, better than Zelda and Tay could have expected. With so many failed chances to take hold of a championship, the Siren was a woman possessed, determined to cause as much damage to both opponents as she tried to grab the paddle and, with it, the Lockdown championship. She inched closer to the corner, her fingers just grazing Astyn. Zelda leaped on her back, using the rope to choke her out, just as she had done with Cass Baumer. Tay came up behind them. She grabbed Zelda’s shoulders, pulling her down and, with her, bringing Kate crashing to the mat, flattening the Lockdown Champion. Tay picked them up off the mat. Kate turned around, driving a boot to Tay’s midsection. She lifted her up, struggling as Zelda weighed her down, but managed to drop Tay with the Punk Driver, right on top of the Lockdown champion! Kate turned back to the paddle, reaching desperately for it. With a final lunge, she seized it, signaling the end of the match! WINNER: Kate Steele -- NEW Lockdown Champion BY: Astyn Retrieval, 9:13 |
The referee uncuffs her and hands over the Lockdown Championship. Kate screams, holding it high above her head.
Jared Idol: “She… she did it!”
Bea Torres: “That was one of the most confusing matches I’ve ever seen, but somehow Kate Steele managed to get it, and she’s moving on as the new Lockdown Champion!”
Jared Idol: “Of course, that means that the stipulation for the belt changes. Next week, we’ll have the official decision: How is the Lockdown Championship about to change?”
The show cuts backstage.
The cameras cut to backstage, where Chloe Collins is standing and waiting with a microphone at hand.
Chloe Collins
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, Tiffany Tompkins.
Tiffany steps into the frame, already donning her ring gear, with a look of determination on her face, although that doesn't stop her from flashing a smile to Chloe.
Tiffany Tompkins
Thanks Chloe.
Chloe smiles back down at her, but as she asks her first question, Tiffany's scowl returns.
Chloe Collins
So Tiff, we're just moments away from one of the biggest challenges in your career so far. How are you feeling?
Tiffany takes a deep breath as Chloe holds the microphone down to her face. Her expression momentarily changes from determination to excitement.
Tiffany Tompkins
Pretty good. I'm pretty confident. I mean I don't really expect anything less. I say I'll fight anyone, and Chuck certainly hasn't made it easy for me. I've been in the ring with the likes of Tay Kamryn, Sean Libby, and even that big bad Nora Foley; all accomplished fighters in their own right. And now tonight, I got Ace Watson...
She takes another deep breath as Chloe takes the microphone away from her for a moment.
Chloe Collins
This will certainly be an uphill battle for you, and of course you'll need a big win after what happened the last time you were at Millennium XII...
Tiffany shrugs as the microphone is held close to her face again.
Tiffany Tompkins
Yeah...you know I haven't heard the end of that yet. How I was the last out of six opponents in a row, and I still couldn't get the job done. Well, I can't come up with any excuses...except maybe I could have kept going if she didn't drop all that dead weight on me, but whatever. I doubt anyone else could have done much better. But the thing is, I may have been flattened, but what do you do when that happens? You scrape yourself off the mat, stand back up and you keep on fighting. That's the only way you can move on, so you can think what you want about that, but I'm more concerned with moving forward, and if any doubters out there have a problem with that, well...you already know what I gotta say to them.
Chloe smiles at Tiffany's burst of confidence.
Chloe Collins
It sounds like you're definitely ready for some action. Do you have any last words for your opponent tonight?
Tiffany Tompkins: Yeah I do...
Tiffany faces the camera as Chloe still holds the microphone in front of her.
Tiffany Tompkins
You know what? This ain't gonna be easy. I mean, I'm in the ring with THE Ace Watson. I used to watch this guy back in my days in the orphanage. I even dare say I used to like him. But recently, he's shown his true colors, and I've seen how disappointed he is that the blockbuster match of the century he was expecting at Battle Cry turned out to be against me. Like he was expecting someone bigger...both figuratively and literally...like he doesn't see me as a challenge.
She smirks.
Tiffany Tompkins
Well you may not think anything of me Ace, but to me, you're the biggest challenge of my career so far. You may not have anything to lose, but I have everything to gain, and if you think I'm letting that slide out of my hands, you got another thing coming. Ace, don't step into the ring tonight expecting a night off. You wanted a big match at Battle Cry? Well you got one, so I hope you're ready, cuz I'm about to kick your head off!
With that said, Tiffany storms off, leaving Chloe alone as the camera fades to the next scene.
Singles Match
Ace Watson VS Tiffany Tompkins
Tiffany Tompkins had a lot to prove after what she felt was a poor showing against Nora Foley just two weeks ago. Ace Watson came into the match on a string of wins, and seemed irritated that he was in this match instead of something higher up on the card. This swagger continued as the opening bell rang. Ace confidently walked to the middle of the ring, extending his hand to Tiffany. She narrowed her eyes, but accepted the handshake, only to be met with a stiff shot to the jaw that took her to the mat. She was quick to her feet, glaring across the ring at Ace, kicking herself for falling for his trick. Ace chuckled, and the two moved in. Tiffany looked to tie up, which Ace was more than happy to do. At the last second though, she darted out of the way, sending a sharp kick to his midsection, doubling him over. She followed up with a scissors kick that planted Ace on the mat. She went for the cover. One… two… Kickout by Watson. Ace shook his head, looking frustrated. He seized the small wrestler, lifting her on his shoulder, and charging to the corner. He crushed her into the turnbuckle, letting her fall, headfirst, into the mat. Ace wasn’t done. He dragged her from the corner to the center of the ring. A quick trip to the ropes, and Ace rebounded off before dropping a big leg across her chest. He went for the cover himself: One… two… Tiffany got a shoulder up. And so the match continued. Tiffany showed resolve, picking herself up after every attempt Ace made to put her down. She was determined, it seemed, to not make the same mistake she did against Nora. She made a point to stay out from under Ace, knowing if he trapped her under his weight, she would run into the same problem she had against the Wolfmother. In turn, Tiffany kept on the attack, using her deadly feet to wear Ace down and do some damage to the veteran’s legs. Ace was on the mat, shaking cobwebs from his head. Tiffany was slumped in the corner, using the ropes to pull herself back to her feet. As Ace stood, she made her move. She charged in, looking for a kick… Ace reversed it! He had her in perfect position, ready to plant her into the mat with The Replay… Ace paused, momentarily distracted. Christopher Kane was racing down the ramp at full speed. Ace dropped Tiffany, shoving her aside as he went to the ropes, bracing for an attack from the furious Kane. Chris stops at the last second, keeping himself out of the ring. Ace shouted at him, pulling the brass knuckles from his boot, daring Chris to make a move. When Chris refused to enter the ring, Ace took a couple hesitant steps back, knowing better than to turn his back on Kane. Tiffany grabbed him by the shoulder, turning him around. Before Ace could react, Tompkins had his shoulders on the mat in a small package! One… two…. three! WINNER: Tiffany Tompkins BY: Pinfall, 11:15 |
Bea Torres: “WHAT?”
Jared Idol: “Don’t get me wrong, Tiffany has shown tremendous talent lately… but you have to call this one an upset! She just pinned Ace Watson in the middle of the ring!”
Bea Torres: “And Ace is PISSED!”
Ace slid from the ring, charging after Kane. Chris spotted Millennium Security, already closing in from all sides of the crowd. He raced up the ramp, Ace in hot pursuit. In the ring, Tiffany got to her feet, smiling to herself at her hard-fought win. She takes a deep breath as she realizes that the crowd is cheering for her. She nods to them in acknowledgement, smiling when the referee raises her hand in victory. The show cuts backstage.
The camera panned in on one of Millennium’s own.. Her in full ring regalia with her hair in a warrior’s braid was quite the sight to behold. Dark hair, striking eyes, chiseled features that almost screamed old nobility with those high cheekbones and distinguished features. Darkened with her mood, she seemed more.. Intense than usual
Nora Foley
“I debuted at Millenium.”
Pausing, as she watched the camera with those intense eyes of hers.
Nora Foley
“I’ve shocked the world for Millennium. I’ve carried its banner, I’ve bodied better people than myself, crushed some of the best, all in the name of Millennium. Despite that, I’ve never gained a thing that I didn’t earn with my blood, my sweat, and my tears. Constantly training, constantly promoting. I’ve done everything in my power to make the world know of my devotion.”
Pause. Beat. A slow smirk crossed her full lips in that moment.
Nora Foley
“James Hawk comes here, and in his first night? He gets a shot at the main title for Millennium without once having to earn anything, and then sits and whines that he’s owed things, that we’ve all disrespected him by forgetting him.”
Nora released a heavy sigh, her eyes affixing the camera with an annoyed look.
Nora Foley
“That’s who I’m fighting tonight. Another bloke who belly aches about disrespect, about things not being handed to him, about being forgotten in a world he hasn’t been in. That’s who I’m fighting, Lovelies.”
With that said, Nora was leaning in, her hands on her knees as if talking down to a camera.
Nora Foley
“Welcome to the new Millennium, the new world, Hawk. This is the world where old names won’t be worshipped and adored simply because they used to mean something. This is the world where actions matter, where the mob can only be won through effort. Consider this your official welcoming party, Love.”’
With that, Nora was walking away from the camera, leaving the screen to fade to black.
Andrew - Where the hell is he going?
Tommy - That crazy bird is going to try to jump from a ladder inside the ring, to Corey Casey in the audience!
Jason Hawk makes it to the top of the ladder, then steps up on to the very top. Jason Hawk keeps his balance then leaps off at Corey Casey who stands up. Jason Hawk spins then hits Corey Casey, dropping him down. Both men hit the cement floor hard.
“Holy Shit!” “Holy Shit!” “Holy Shit!” “Holy Shit!”
Andrew - Jason Hawk with a corkscrew press from a ladder inside the ring, into the audience on Corey Casey!

Jason Hawk stand up, the chain still in his hand. Jason Hawk walks up the ramp and drags Corey Casey to the top of the stage. Jason Hawk drags Corey Casey to the left side of the stage towards the edge. Jason Hawk stops and looks over the edge down at some tables covered in wires and papers.
Andrew - The stage is 15 feet off the arena floor! It’s a hell of a drop!
Tommy - A drop Jason Hawk looks to send Corey Casey on!
Jason Hawk lifts Corey Casey to his feet and sets him up for a rock bottom. Jason Hawk flips backwards with Corey Casey off the stage and drives him through the tables. Papers fly into the air as all the fans in the arena get to their feet.
Andrew - TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN OFF THE STAGE!
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Tommy - Good god, Hawk is scaling up the side of the stage!
Andrew - Already he’s gotta be 15 feet above Aaron!
Jason Hawk keeps climbing up the War Games stage, alongside the titantron screen. Jason Hawk finally makes it to the top.
Tommy - oh my god, he’s out of his mind!
Andrew - This would be like jumping off the top of the triple cage, maybe even higher!
Jason Hawk jumps off to top of the stage and free falls down before crashing down on Aaron O’Shea, sending both men through the wooden stage and out of sight.
“HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!” “HOLY SHIT!”
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Jason Hawk gets up slowly, hurt from his own move. Jason Hawk grabs the little ladder and tosses it into the ring. Jason Hawk reaches under the ring and pulls out two 6 foot ladders, and slides them into the ring. Jason Hawk enters the ring, then sets one of the 6 foot ladders on its side, and places the other 6 foot ladder on top of it. Jason Hawk grabs the little ladder and sets it on top of the 6 foot.
Andrew - What the hell?
Tommy - I have no fucking idea… All time that could have been spent going for the NLWF title.
Nick Ridicule uses the steps to pulls himself up. Nick Ridicule slowly walks up the steps, and onto the apron. Jason Hawk steps out to the opposite apron and looks across the ring waiting for Nick Ridicule to notice him. Nick Ridicule looks inside the ring at the ladder creation set up by Jason Hawk. Jason Hawk springboards up the top rope then drops a leg drop across the 6 foot ladder, which catapults the 3 foot ladder into the face of Nick Ridicule, sending him off the apron and into the cage wall.
“That was awesome!” “That was awesome!” “That was awesome!”
Andrew - innovative offense from Jason Hawk!
Tommy - I’ve never seen anything like that!

Jason Hawk stands inside the ring with a smug grin on his face as he watches his own highlights. Remembering back to the days when he was on top of the world. The highlights keep playing and end with multiple shoots of him holding up different titles. The very same titles that are strapped around the top and middle rope all around the ring. The titles face towards the crowd for them all to behold the newly shined title belts from federations that have been long gone. Jason himself has a title around his waist that reads NLWF World Heavyweight Undisputed Championship. A title he was synonymous with in his hay day. He has another title resting on his shoulder. The IWF Full Throttle championship. The famous belt with the Christmas lights. Jason looks around the arena at the sea of silent people.
Jason Hawk
You know, a few of those were in this very arena. It was in front of you. You were here when I did that.
Jason walks to one of the title belts. It reads NLWF World Champion. He lays his hand on top of it and continues.
Jason Hawk
It was in that corner right there. Right over there where I raised this belt for the first time. Not even one of you were in your seats. You were losing your minds. Ready to tear the entire place down in pure excitement. I remember feeling on top of the world. After everything I gave to you, in that moment I felt you give it back to me. I remember thinking it was a two-way straight. You give some, you get some. How naive of me. Here I stand in the middle of everything I have ever won. You just witnessed the greatest moments of my career. You are literally starring straight at my entire legacy and what? None of you care.
Jason stops for moment. He looks around. Searching for any kind of reaction. But he gets nothing. Though something catches his eye. A young fan is blowing up a beach ball.
Jason Hawk
You put that away right now you little shit! If you don’t I will ruin your entire fucking childhood.
Some of the fans start cheering for the young fan who keeps blowing the beach ball. Jason exits the ring and walks towards the young fan.
Jason Hawk
I am not kidding! Put that beach ball down! Now!
The few surrounding fans cheer a little louder for the young fan and he keeps blowing.
Jason Hawk
Santa isn’t real, and you’re adopted!
The young fan stops immediately and looks at an older fan next to him with questions in his eyes. A few seconds pass and the young fan starts to cry. The surrounding fans start booing. Some because of Jason’s mean words, others because they are disappointed that they won’t get to play with the beach ball.
Jason Hawk
Oh, shut up. I warned him. And you, take off that hideous shirt.
He says to a fan wearing a Nora Foley shirt before he rolls back into the ring.
Jason Hawk
Before I was so rudely interrupted I was about to tell you all what a bunch of ingrates you are. And please do keep being silent. I enjoy hearing myself talk. As you saw I take greater risks than everyone in that locker room. Christopher Kane might think he can fly...
The fans start to cheer as Jason mentions Christopher Kane, which gives Jason an idea. He adjusts the belt on his shoulder.
Jason Hawk
Jennifer Yang?
The fans cheer again.
Jason Hawk
Tiffany Thompkins?
Again, the fans cheer loudly.
Jason Hawk
Nora Foley?
The reaction to the Wolfmother is especially loud.
Jason Hawk
Jason Hawk!!
Silence....
Jason Hawk
You hypocrites! None of them have ever done anything to deserve your adoration. None of them can do anything that I can’t. I paved the way for them! If it wasn’t for my hard work, for my sacrifices none of you would know their names. I am the giant who’s shoulders they are standing on! A year from now you won’t remember any of their names! I say it again! Hypocrites!
Jason adjusts the title on his shoulder again.
Jason Hawk
You see. When I was younger all I cared about was sending you home happy. Wins and losses were just part of the game. Titles came and went. But what always stock with me, was hearing your applause. My driving force were you people! I gave my all to you, so you could go back home and to bed with a smile before waking up and going on with your miserable lives as before. All I wanted in return was a little respect. Some recognition. Is that too much to ask for? Apparently, it is. After all I gave you. But I see now that it was never enough. You always wanted more. Then when my body couldn’t go anymore. I know it can be hard to believe but I am just human after all. I need my rest as well. When I came to the point where I had to give myself a break or sit in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I Never intended to retire. I am not even 30 yet. But a break was needed. Blame me for being naive, but I thought we could carry on the same way when I came back.
Jason stops talking to adjust the title on his belt. He looks around.
Jason Hawk
Not a single sign for me again.
He sighs.
Jason Hawk
But it is all over now. Tonight, I see clearly. My eyes are wide open. Reality is starring me in the face and I can’t deny it. You never cared for me. I was just another idiot sacrificing his own health for your entertainment. You never respected me! You never cared! Those stupid idiots in the back might think differently but they are destined to end up like me. And its fine. You don’t want my greatness. I’ve made peace with that. I now only have one sole intention in Millennium. Wins and losses don’t matter. As you can see I have more than enough titles. The only thing that matters to me is to ruin your night. Every single night. I tried pleasing you. I cared for your amusement. See what that brought me. Not a single ounce of respect. From here on out, none of you matter. It’s me against the world. And it starts tonight against Nora Foley.
The fans release a thunderous roar for the Wolfmother, who so impressively beat six challengers in one night.
Jason Hawk
Speaking of... Sure, she is big. Her biceps are bigger than my thighs. If she gets a hand on me she could make my head pop like a zit. In all fairness she should absolutely destroy me. But she would have to catch me first. Sure, he physique is impressive. But can she move? Honestly, I don’t really know, because why should I care anything about Nora Foley. What I do know though, is that she can’t move as fast as me. Also, her knee is all busted after the gauntlet. Which I by the way will never understand. How stupid do you have to be to fight six consecutive matches. Willingly I might add. It’ll cost her. She can’t hang with me when she is at her best. How is she supposed to do anything with a bad knee? It’s inevitable. She bit of more than she could chew. Sure, let’s call her gauntlet win impressive, I think it was idiotic, but you are all idiots, so I understand that you liked it. But in the end, it will cost her. Tonight, she steps into the ring with a proper superstar. A man who has seen it all, done it all. She has never faced anyone like me, especially not in the gauntlet. I mean, Tiffany Thompkins? Kasey Summers? Jokes, the whole lot of them. No no, tonight she steps into the ring with something she has never experienced before. Something that is impossible to prepare for. Tonight, the fairytale about Nora Foley comes to an abrupt end. There will be no happy ending and ss she is looking at the lights and my music is playing you are all going to realize what you’ve done.
Jason drops the mic as Wings of Time by TÝR plays. He looks around at the crowd, who boos… until his music is interrupted by the familiar theme of the Wolfmother herself. Nora makes her way to the ring. She’s ready for a fight.
Singles Match
Jason Hawk VS Nora Foley
Hawk had a strategy going into this one, and that strategy was to stay as far away from Nora’s grasp as possible. Right from the beginning, Nora made a grab for him, but Hawk darted out of the way, leaping on her back in an effort to take her down. Nora reached up, grabbing him by the head, and throwing him over her shoulder to the mat. She looked to drop an elbow, but Hawk rolled out of the way just in time. Back on his feet again, Jason went to his familiar home up in the air. He bounced off the ropes, hitting Nora with a crossbody that took her to the mat. He went for the quick cover. One… Nora threw him off effortlessly. Both competitors were back on their feet. Hawk came flying in with a dropkick. Nora swatted his feet away, sending Jason, again, crashing to the mat. Nora attempted to pick him up off the mat. Hawk sent a hard kick upward, catching her in the nose and sending her stumbling back. He raced forward, hooking her head and bringing her down with a swinging DDT. Another cover… kickout at two. Hawk was more brutal than he had been in previous matches. He showed a heavier style and more dangerous style than he had in the past; whether that was due to his opponent, or attributed to something else was still unknown. Nora struggled against the high flyer, but a few key moves at critical moments kept the match from getting away from her. Nora showed off the power she was known for in Millennium, catching Hawk out of midair and planting him into the mat in order to sway the momentum. Hawk struggled, trying to get to his feet. Nora, teeth gritted, stepped forward, stomping down on Hawk’s spine, much to the delight of the fans. She picked him up. He threw an elbow, trying to catch her off guard. She shoved him to the corner. Nora charged. Hawk got his feet up to hit her in the face. Nora stumbled backwards. Jason climbed to the top ropes and leaped, looking for a shooting star press…. Nora caught him! Hawk writhed, trying to break free, but with a roar, Nora brought him across her knee. Andraste’s Hammer! She hooked the leg. One… two… three! WINNER: Nora Foley BY: Pinfall, 12:14 |
Nora roars, raising her fists to the sky.
Bea Torres: “Whoa!”
Jared Idol: “You people may not realize this, but that marks Nora’s first win on a Millennium supershow.”
Bea Torres: “And the first show on Chuck’s television network since the Pride days!”
Jared Idol: “She had a rough month, losing to Nessa and Jennifer...but this is the Nora we’re used to, and she’s looking dominant as ever.”
Bea Torres: “Millennium is on notice.”
Nora smirks, soaking in the cheers of the crowd. Behind her, Hawk gets to his feet. He shakes his head, furious that the crowd is cheering her and not him. He slides from the ring, digging under the apron for a chair. As he gets back to the ring, Nora spots him. She turns to face him as he’s mid swing. Jason freezes, looking up at the towering Irishwoman. He retreats slowly, knowing better than to get in another fight with her. He grits his teeth, heading up the ramp to regroup and rethink: How was he going to win over this crowd? The show cuts to a promotional video for MEN TV.
With Megan Rydell already waiting inside the ring, ready to take her shot at the Cloud Gate Championship, the lights in the Arena dim down as Ennio Morricone’s “Ecstasy of Gold” starts playing from the loudspeakers. The red carpet rolls down the ramp, anticipating the grand entrance of the Cloud Gate Champion Grace van Beek. Ryen Riekert leads the pack of men dressed in black surrounding the Diamond Princess. With the title wrapped around her waist, the Crown Jewel of Millennium walks down the ramp with her usual haughty stride, her eyes locked on her opponent and a smirk of superiority on her face.
Ryen Riekert sits on the middle rope, allowing Grace to steps inside the ring. She quickly gets in Megan's face, taunting her with that condescending smile. You can tell by Meg’s reaction that she's dying to take it off with her own hands, but she decides to save it for the match.
Taking off the leather jacket, Grace then proceeds to unwrap the title and holding it in her hands, staring at the Cloud Gate Championship and then glancing over at Rydell, shaking her head and mouthing “You'll never get this.” She finally hands the title over at the referee, nodding at the Head of her Security who steps down from the apron and takes his usual stance covering one of the sides of the ring, his back turned to the action that's about to start as his attentive eyes scanning the crowd.
The referee raises the title in the air, but before he can officially start the contest, the sound of “Brains” by Tremonti blares out of the PA system, drawing everyone's attention to the entrance stage, where Chuck Matthews makes his appearance, welcomed by the roar of the Millennium Fans.
Chuck Matthews
Well, this simply won’t do, will it?
He looks at Riekert, Archer, and Grace’s security force all surrounding the ring. He shakes his head.
Chuck Matthews
I’m going to make something perfectly clear: After the last defense of the Cloud Gate Championship, it’s clear to me that we simply can’t have all these “neutral parties” surrounding the ring for matches. I understand your need for security however, so I’m happy to offer Millennium’s elite for your protection. Gentlemen?
Chuck’s own personal guard head down to the ring. Grace’s move in position to intercept, which doesn’t seem to phase Chuck’s at all. The two meet at the bottom of the ramp, staring each other down. Chuck’s guards rest their hands on their weapons, ready to fight if the situation escalates.
Chuck Matthews
I’m going to ask that anybody who is not in official Millennium Security gear, kindly leave the ringside area.
Riekert and Archer look to Grace, then to Chuck, and the guards, readying their weapons. Dane brushes past the guards, slowly heading up the ramp; whatever Grace was paying him, it wasn’t worth getting mauled by armed security over. Riekert motions for his men to stand down. He glances up at Grace, looking for direction. Grace glares up the ramp at the owner of Millennium Wrestling.
Grace van Beek
Hmpf. I fail to understand this persecution against me, mister Matthews. I am your Cloud Gate Champion, I am the Crown Jewel of Millennium, I brought the eyes of a whole country on your show. It is daunting to see how you constantly trample my rights.
Struggling to keep her composure despite being clearly upset, Grace stares at Millennium’s owner..
Grace van Beek
And in the name of what? A supposed fairness? How is that fair that I must wrestle fearing for my safety? Neither Ryen nor any of his men ever interfered in any of my bouts, they are there to protect me, not to help me winning my matches. But every single time someone cries injustice, even though there are no evidence to support their thesis, you are oh so quick to jump in their support.
It is starting to seem to me that your agenda is anyone but miss van Beek. And I do not understand why you would pick someone like Miss Rydell, someone who wasted every single chance she had been given over the undoubted future of this company.
Chuck Matthews
You see… that’s what you’re failing to understand. I have a business to run. I’m not saying for certain that your posse here is or is not responsible for your success. You’re the champion. I get that. I understand that. But no, that does not mean I’m going to bend the rules for you that I wouldn’t bend for anyone else. Millennium is, and always has been, a place of competition, where people could showcase their skill without worry of who was going to attack them after the fact, without needing to look over their shoulder backstage. That’s not how this works, Grace. Millennium has the best security team of any wrestling promotion on this planet. Nobody does what Millennium does. I’m sorry that’s not good enough for you, but it’s how we do business around here.
Grace listens carefully to Chuck’s words, nodding lightly when he’s done.
Grace van Beek
I understand.
She stares for a moment in mister Matthews’s eyes, before glancing back at Ryen and giving him a nod. Riekert nods back and gathers his men around him.
Grace van Beek
But I made it clear once, I will never compete again if my safety is not ensured. And your poor excuse of “security team” cannot guarantee my incolumity.
Without adding a single word, she walks past Chuck and an incredulous Megan Rydell, joining her security waiting for her at ringside and starting to walk up the ramp.
Chuck Matthews
That’s not how this works, van Beek. You don’t make the rules around here.
Grace ignores him, continuing her walk up the ramp. Chuck shakes his head, looking to the referee in the ring.
Chuck Matthews
Start the match.
The referee looks from Chuck to Grace, but does as he’s told. Chuck holds up a hand.
Chuck Matthews
One final note: The belt may now change hands on a countout or disqualification.
Cloud Gate Championship
Grace van Beek (c) VS Megan Rydell
Grace glares up at Chuck. For a moment, she pauses in the middle of the ramp as the bell rings and the referee begins his count. She shakes her head, heading back up the ramp. She shoves the Cloud Gate Championship into Chuck’s chest as she passes. The referee finishes his count and calls for the bell. WINNER: Megan Rydell -- NEW Cloud Gate Champion BY: Countout, 0:10 |
Chuck looks at the Cloud Gate Championship in his hands. He frowns, and shakes his head.
Chuck Matthews
…..No, we’re not going to do that.
He looks at Meg in the ring.
Chuck Matthews
You’re not satisfied with this, are you?
Meg frowns. She says nothing, but it’s evident that she’s not pleased at winning a championship by countout. Chuck nods.
Chuck Matthews
Fortunately...I may have planned for such an event to take place, so I’ve found a suitable replacement, should Miss van Beek cause a scene.
Coheed and Cambria comes through the speakers. Chuck turns with a small smile as Britt Kane emerges from backstage. Megan looks amused at the prospect of having to fight her for the belt. Chuck gives Kane a respectful nod.
Chuck Matthews
Now, the two of you had some… disappointing victories here tonight. So as my apology, and to set things right, we’re going to offer the two of you one more match. Cloud Gate Championship on the line. Good luck to you both.
Cloud Gate Championship
Megan Rydell (c) VS Britty Kane
This was the match both competitors had hoped for when they walked into the Enterprise Arena. Britt Kane, who had defeated her brother in a joke of a match earlier tonight… taking on the Cloud Gate Champion, who had just won the belt by doing nothing but stand in a ring. Britt seemed shocked to be competing for so high a prize in her first night in Millennium, but Megan was doing everything in her power to prevent it from happening. Megan dominated the early part of the match, planting the young Kane quickly and scoring a two-count. Britt wasn’t giving up, and continued to kick out, despite Megan’s best efforts. Megan grew increasingly frustrated, picking Britt up off the mat and taking her down with a suplex… another lift, and a second suplex. A third lift… a third suplex. She went for the pin. One… two…. AGAIN, Britt kicked out. Megan slammed her fists on the mat, furious that she had escaped again. She lifted Britt to her feet. Britt feebly raised her hands, which Megan swatted away with a laugh. She threw Kane to the ropes. Britt came back, hitting an elbow to Megan’s jaw which rocked the champion! Britt stumbled to the corner. Megan charged at her. Britt moved… fell, really, narrowly escaping the shot. Megan hit the corner hard, chest first. Britt got an arm up, rolling Megan up for the count. One… two… Meg kicked out… no! The referee hit the three, and called for the match. She was too late! WINNER: Britty Kane -- NEW Cloud Gate Champion BY: Pinfall, 9:44 |
Chuck Matthews, who had been standing on the stage for the duration of the bout, claps politely. He nods to a ringside worker, who runs the belt down to Britt in the ring. Britt looks in disbelief at her fortune, knowing she had scored what many would call an upset, and now was holding one of the biggest prizes in Millennium. She clutches the belt to her chest as Meg argues with the referee, insisting that she kicked out. The replay shows on screen, as the referees hand hits the mat, just a split second before Meg’s shoulder comes off. The referee raises Britt’s hand in the air as Megan fumes at Chuck. The show goes backstage once again.
The camera pans backstage in the Enterprise Arena to reveal a petite blonde sitting atop one of the production crates emblazoned with the Millennium logo. Smirking, she lifts her hand and twiddles her fingers in a mocking wave.
Nessa Wall
Hello, D'Angelo. Remember me? Oh, I'm sure you do, especially now that the alliance has imploded and your precious little claim to fame means nothing. I get why you jumped ship. All the cool kids want to be on the ship that isn't about to sink. They want to hitch a ride on the fame train, but see, I know what you're up to. I know what you think this is going to be: a cheap spotlight grab.
She shakes her head.
Nessa Wall
But let's not split hairs, hmm? We both have a job to do tonight. You're the great one, and I'm just the little girl who got lucky when she beat Ace Watson to claim that briefcase. Clearly that's true since I couldn't pin your shoulders to the mat, right? Of course. And you can throw out all the backhanded, "oh she's such a challenge" compliments on social media that your little heart desires and we both know there wasn't an ounce of sincerity there. You'll prove me right when I walk out the winner tonight and you invent a million reasons why it was undeserved.
She pauses, cocking her head as though hearing something.
Nessa Wall
That's right, sweetheart, I said WHEN. Not if. Not a doubt in sight. And you'll probably want to call it hubris and that's fine. I've heard worse lately. I'll smile and nod to whatever accusations you want to pin to my shirt. At the end of the day, you need to remember that talk's cheap. Maybe if you hadn't exhausted yourself with all those empty threats, you might have presented more of a challenge. Unlike you, I haven't been coasting on the fumes of a victory that didn't really mean much in the grand scheme. Week in and week out, I've proven that I'm a force to be reckoned with. I'm quite motivated right now to show you just what I can do when it's just you and I between those ropes.
She smiles sweetly.
Nessa Wall
I revel in this, I honestly do. Just keep grinding your teeth in anger D'Lo. I drew first blood by proxy. I'm as giddy as a schoolgirl for proving that I'm not all talk.
She rolls her eyes, sarcasm thick in her tone.
Nessa Wall
Unlike you, I'm not hopping from one place to the next in the hopes that I won't lose status. I started over from the bottom here in Millennium after my time with TWO championships in Empire. I can do this in my sleep. This is nothing new to me. Supposition and dismissal aren't either. I'm not sleeping my way to the top. I'm not casting my lots on former fame and glory. No, honey. Chuck Matthews knows I'm the best damn thing to happen to this company and there's no way I'm going to let you try and steal that from under me-
Raucous laughter interrupts her tirade as Kasey Summers walks into frame.
Kasey Summers
Oh my God... are you... wooooow. Do you even listen to yourself when you talk? Like, if the whole roster didn't already think you two were knocking boots, they sure do now!
Nessa Wall
Excuse... me? Excuse you, actually! I was trying to explain his business acumen and-
The redhead rolls her eyes.
Kasey Summers
Sure you were. You didn't sound jealous about that new guy getting signed at all. And... like... I'm totes the King of Spain.
The Canadian slips off the container and storms over to Kasey, shoving her hard against the wall.
Nessa Wall
Stop it! Just stop trying to screw this up for me!
Before Kasey can say anything, Nessa lets out a frustrated groan and whirls around, storming off.
Kasey Summers
Aww, don't go, Nessie! Was it something I said?
Just before the match begins, Nessa hands the Millennium Case to the ringside worker and pulls Rumchata Ayano aside to whisper something to her. Rum looks at her with a frown, then to D’Angelo, looking somewhat confused. Nessa eggs her on.
Rumchata Ayano
Nessa Wall has used her power of the Millennium Case and altered this match. As of now, Nessa Wall cannot be disqualified or counted out. D’Angelo Blackwell must abide by all rules.
Blackwell looks at the referee, asking if this was even legal. The referee holds his hands up in surrender. Blackwell glares at Nessa, who gives an innocent smile and a wave, already slipping her bright pink brass knuckles from her boot and slipping them onto her hand. The bell rings.
Singles Match
Nessa’s ChoiceD'Angelo Blackwell VS Nessa Wall
This was not the debut D’Angelo Blackwell had in mind when he came to Millennium. In his second meeting with Nessa Wall, he had the odds stacked against him, with Nessa able to bend or break any rule she pleased without consequence. Nessa swung early and swung hard, hoping to catch D’lo with the brass knuckles and end this one early. The former GWA Heritage Champion dodged it and took her down, keeping her grounded. Nessa managed to roll out from under him, locking in a crossface, cranking back on his neck. Blackwell got a hand on the ropes, but Nessa refused to let up with no need to call for the break. Instead, D’Angelo was forced to use the ropes to climb back to a standing position, forcing Wall to relinquish the hold. He shook his head, getting the blood flowing back to his brain. He turned to face her… and was leveled with a brutal shot from the knuckles! Nessa scrambled for the cover! One… two… kickout! Nessa rolled off, in disbelief that he had kicked out. She wrapped her fist tight around her weapon of choice, mounting him. D’lo bucked her off and was quick to his feet. Nessa threw another punch. He dodged it, seizing her wrist and twisting it, forcing Nessa to the mat. D’Angelo wrenched the knuckles off her hand, tossing them aside. From there, the match leveled out. A noticeable bruise had formed on D’lo’s jaw, but he appeared to be fighting through it, matching Nessa blow for blow and hold for hold. A bridging German suplex scored Blackwell his first pinfall, but Wall was able to get her shoulder up at two. D’lo wasn’t giving up, pulling her back to her feet and dropping her with a second suplex. Rather than pin, he pulled her up once more. A third suplex! Nessa was dazed! D’lo charged in as Nessa climbed slowly to a standing position. Scissors kick! D’lo hooked the leg. One… two…. Nessa got a shoulder up! Frustration began to sink in. D’lo pulled her up to her feet, throwing her to the corner. She hit the post hard, falling to her face on the mat. D’Angelo frowned, moving in close to pick her up. Nessa sprang to life, clocking him in that same sensitive part of the jaw… she had the brass knuckles again! D’lo crumples to the ground and Nessa grabs his tights, using the ropes for leverage. One… two… three! WINNER: Nessa Wall BY: Pinfall, 12:09 |
The replay of the final moments of the match show Nessa’s knuckles lying in the corner of the ring. Nessa hit the corner and slumped over and the camera shows her quickly slipping the knuckles back onto her hand… she hadn’t hit the mat from the impact, but rather to provide cover to get the weapon back in her fist! The referee hands her the Millennium Case, which she holds close to her chest, knowing it had, once again, earned her a major victory. Ringside crew checked on D’lo, who stirred slowly, holding his jaw after two nasty blows from the brass knuckles. He glared up at Nessa, shaking his head. She blows a kiss to him as she retreats up the ramp, clearly very pleased with her victory. The show goes backstage.
We open to pink wrestling boots walking along the floor backstage. The camera slowly moves up until we finally see the face of the returning former champion, Rayven Hardy. She stops and poses for the camera, all smiles.
Rayven Hardy
What's up Millennium? I have to say, it's an honor to be back in the ring, and particularly for the fans of this company. It wasn't long ago that I wrestled in Canada, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Empire, the fans, and management there. The facts are, I had not one, not two, but THREE opportunities to dethrone Molly Reid for the Empire championship, and I wasn't good enough on any of those occasions. My never-ending desire to be the best of the best there, lead to me putting my Empire contract on the line for that final match, and considering I haven't wrestled since, I'm sure all of you can guess what happened.
The 20 year old looks down at her boots.
Rayven Hardy
Something as simple as wrestling boots, can sometimes be taken for granted. When I lost my job in Empire, I took time off. I had a movie coming out and honestly, my confidence was shattered. Losing to the same person, at the top of the food chain, three times? I began to doubt myself. Wondering if I was truly ready for competition of that caliber. But with each passing day, the desire to get back into the ring only grew stronger. These boots? They were the same boots I wore against Molly in my last match, and I have to tell you, it never felt better to put them on as it did a few minutes ago.
Rayven leans against the wall and waves at a stage hand that passes by just out of the shot before turning her attention back to the camera.
Rayven Hardy
I'm back, and tonight, Gray Malone wants to send me away once again. He wants to send a message to everyone else in the locker room by making an example out of me. The thing with Gray and I is, we have history. We both wrestled in San Francisco. For the same company that I received my nickname, the San Fran Miracle. Back then, even in my first six months in the business, Gray and I met in the ring. Of course, he also attacked me with a steel chair before our match, but when it came time to actually face off? I walked out with my hand raised. That isn't a slight to Gray at all, I honestly think he's underrated by today's standards. So many people write him off because of his mental state, but I've wrestled him, and even though I won, I know that he's a threat to anyone on any given night. Tonight could be his night...you never know.
Rayven shakes her head.
Rayven Hardy
But I do, and I know that it ISN'T your night, Gray. I get it. This is your opportunity. You face me, in my big return match, and a victory where you shut me down will do EVERYTHING for you. Your stock will be higher than it's been in years. I know how badly you want, no, you NEED this win. But what you're failing to think about is me and how badly I need it. Despite being the Canadian champion and Imperial tournament winner in Empire, I went through my fair share of losses and I learned from each one. Cy Riddle, Molly, Riley, Dexter Severin...each loss brought heartbreak AND a valuable lesson. There's no doubt that tonight is going to be brutal. I know you won't go down swinging and you probably have every intention of turning this match into a blood bath. But while you fight for your legacy, and nothing else? I'm fighting for my own legacy, and more importantly?
Rayven points her index finger directly into the camera.
Rayven Hardy
I'm fighting for each and every Rayven Hardy fan who has NEVER given up hope or belief in me. This isn't just about US, Gray, it's about US and THEM! For every little girl who looks at me and wants to be a champion, I'm showing them that they can be. For every little girl who has been told that she will never achieve or live her dreams, I'm living proof that you can not only live your dreams, you can inspire them in others. I know you like to spoil things Gray, and I'm not discounting what you're going to be bringing. I'll just be bringing a little bit more than you.
Rayven makes a motion around her waist.
Rayven Hardy
I want to be a champion again, and the path to the top begins tonight at Battle Cry. I want to thank Chuck Matthews for the opportunity. I promise I won't let you down. And Gray? When this match is over, no matter which of us win? That legacy of yours? Build it. The right way. Shake my hand and continue your Millennium career the right way. Or, you can go through with that promise and try to end my career, but I think you'll find that's easier said than done.
Rayven winks.
Rayven Hardy
Time to fly!
Hardy jogs down the hallway and out of view of the camera, ready for her showdown with Gray Malone that is just moments away.

Gray Malone VS Rayven Hardy
Gray and Rayven stare each other down from across the ring. Ray is the first to move, heading in slowly towards Gray. She goes for a quick clothesline. Gray dodges it and Ray stumbles towards the corner. Gray comes in, laying into the returning star with a series of lefts and rights. He attempts to throw her to the opposite corner. Rayven reverses, sending Malone to the turnbuckle. She runs at him, but is met with a boot to the jaw. He follows up with a chop across her chest. Another chop. He whips her to the ropes. She reboundes and Gray Malone drops down, launching Hardy high in the air with a back body drop. Rayven is slow to her feet. As she stands, she’s met with another chop from Gray Malone as he begins to take full control of the match. He throws her to the ropes. Instead of a second back body drop, he takes her to the mat with a hiptoss and goes for a pin. One… two… kickout by Rayven Hardy. Gray sneers, driving a knee to her gut and pulls her in for a side headlock. Rayven pushes back, driving Gray to the ropes. She throws him off. Gray hits the ropes and leapfrogs over Rayven. Gray comes back again into a DDT! Rayven goes for a quick cover of her own. One… two… kickout by Malone! Hardy wasn’t done. She picks him up off the mat, momentum slowly starting to turn. She throws him to the corner and comes in fast with a clothesline in the corner. She whips him to the opposite end. Gray hits the turnbuckle hard, stumbling out. Rayven hits the middle rope and springboards off, hitting a spinning kick to Gray’s head! Another quick cover. One… two…. Thr- Gray kicks out! Rayven takes a deep breath, but smiles, clapping politely for Malone as she gets back to her feet. She lifts him up. Gray drives a shoulder to her gut, carrying her to the corner. Again, he begins laying into her, sending a flurry of stiff punches to her head and torso. He takes a step back, taking a moment to recover. He charges in again. Rayven rolls out of the corner, avoiding the blow. She circles Gray, rolling him up. One… two… kickout again! Gray gets back to his feet. Rayven comes in, looking for a takedown. Gray catches her with a knee to the ribcage, sending her stumbling back. Gray steps in, pulling her in for an exploder suplex. He bridges for a pin. One… two… this time it’s Rayven who kicks out… but Gray has her arms! He twists her over, looking for the submission… and it’s locked in! Gray Malone has the “Just Let Go” locked in tight! Rayven thrashes around, trying to get an appendage on the ropes for the break, but it’s not happening! She’s finally forced to submit, or risk her return ending far sooner than she’d hope. WINNER: Gray Malone BY: Submission, 13:44 |
Gray slides out of the ring immediately after the bell, smirking to himself. Ray rotates her shoulder, wincing as she tries to get feeling back in her arm and neck. The referee helps her get to her feet, but she insists that she’s fine, smiling in spite of her loss. As she makes a motion to leave, she’s cracked across the back by Gray Malone and his baseball bat!
Bea Torres: “What the hell!”
Jared Idol: “The match is over, give it a rest!”
Gray stands over her, smiling wickedly. He drives the bat down into her knee, eliciting a loud shriek from Rayven Hardy. A second shot brings the aluminium into the knee a second time, and a third one cracks her right in the sternum. Rayven tries to get her hands up to defend herself, but a shot from the bat to her exposed forearms rings a sick crunch throughout the Enterprise Arena.
Jared Idol: “This needs to stop… she can’t defend herself!”
Bea Torres: “Here they come!”
From the back, Millennium Security runs in to stop the slaughter. Gray knows better than to try and take on Chuck’s armed force, and he quickly slides from the ring, satisfied that his work has been done anyway. Rayven whimpers as she cradles her knee. Medical personnel and ringside crew look after her as they try to get her on her feet. Rayven’s leg buckles under the weight, and she falls back to the mat. The show cuts backstage, but not after a lingering shot of Gray’s wicked grin.
The feed cuts to backstage where the Millennium championship challenger Jennifer Yang is standing before the camera with her charismatic manager/fiance, Ho Wei Shen, or known simply as Wei. Clad in a classy powder blue suit and black tie, Wei flashes his million-dollar smile. As always, Jennifer greets the camera with a professional and silent nod while Wei prepares to speak.
Ho Wei Shen
Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come for the most anticipated match in Millennium history. Eliza Valentine versus Jennifer Yang. Champion versus Challenger. The Undefeated versus The Underdog. Tonight, we will all witness the greatest match made for the Millennium championship. This is where you want to be.
His smile widens as he lets his words sink in, knowing exactly how to take his time in his speech.
Ho Wei Shen
Ever since Jennifer won her shot at the title, she has been building her legacy day by day. Before, she was a rookie, just looking to find her solid footing in the industry. She was fighting for a spot to be taken seriously as a competitor. She was simply, a nobody.
At this point, Jennifer flinches but doesn’t say anything. Without breaking his stride, Wei continues.
Ho Wei Shen
Not that it was her fault, no! She always worked hard to make an impression. She did what was told by Mr Jason Halich since day one. She stood by her peers and Mr Chuck Matthews during the company wars. She gave and showed respect without fail… even where she received none.
Jennifer casts a very nervous glance in Wei’s direction.
Ho Wei Shen
Yet Jennifer perseveres through it all. All the months of trying and failing to stay on top, just barely staying afloat in competition. Until one day when something finally clicks.
The camera catches Wei reaching to hold Jennifer’s hand as he gives her a warm reassuring smile. She returns with her own, one that looks quite relieved.
Ho Wei Shen
Beating Nora Foley was a tremendous feat, one that should not be taken lightly. In fact, it should serve Eliza as a warning.
Wei’s eyes crinkle as his smile grows wider at this, though without any malicious intent. He’s still gently holding Jennifer’s hand in his, lowering down out of frame.
Ho Wei Shen
If my words during the contract signing aren’t enough, heed this now. It isn’t too late. Jennifer has waited for this opportunity for a very long time, and done nothing but prepare for her moment tonight. Every day has led her here. The hours of training and practice to not just be a better wrestler but also a well-rounded star. As you know, I’m her manager and my job is to elevate her career to new heights. I may not have been in the wrestling business for very long but I know branding and strategy. They’re my forte for thirteen years. And after five months, Jennifer’s name has grown to be synonymous with the best in this company and soon, the entire industry. That’s right. Her goal is higher than before, Eliza. She wants to become the new face of Millennium. And at the rate that she’s going, Eliza, she will be. This is my professional opinion.
He chuckles.
Ho Wei Shen
It’s only a matter of time, Eliza. And that time may very well be tonight. You have defeated so many on the roster already. Don’t worry, I am very well aware that you’ve gone through a lot yourself to become the champion. I understand you’ve carved a not so easy path to get there. Believe me, we’ve both studied your tapes and we admire your tenacity and grit. Your history is not taken lightly either. In fact, it is only right to celebrate it. And what better way to do it than facing another woman who’s got power and strength as you do? Who’s done everything she can to make something of herself in this competitive business? Surely, you see a piece of yourself in Jennifer, no? Because I do. What I see is two women who believe that nothing comes easy to those who don’t work for it. You may not regard Jennifer as a friend or like her but I know you respect her skills in the ring. And she respects you.
With a grin, he now raises Jennifer’s hand as if in victory.
Ho Wei Shen
Eliza Valentine, tonight, you will finally meet your match.
Wei seems to be at the conclusion of his speech and usually at this point, the segment would end without Jennifer contributing anything. But this time, she speaks up with a smile.
Jennifer Yang
Looking forward to it, Eliza. See you soon!
She gives a confident nod before the scene fades to black.
Millennium Championship
Eliza Valentine (c) VS Jennifer Yang
It’s time for the main event. Eliza Valentine: Unpinned, unsubmitted, undefeated in singles competition. Jennifer Yang, the only person in Millennium to pin the unstoppable Nora. Jennifer Yang, who had come so close to making the finals of the Battle for the Briefcase Tournament. Now, it was time for the match people had been waiting for. The two circle each other in the center of the ring to begin. Both reach out their arms and tie up in the middle. Jennifer goes to her knee but is back on her feet in an instant, trying to get the upper hand. Eliza pushes Jenni back to the corner and slaps her hard across the face. Jenni comes back with a slap right back. Bea Torres: “This is going to be a fight, plain and simple.” Jared Idol: “Millennium has some top notch stars, but these two… these two are another beast.” Bea Torres: “Jennifer Yang is looking to do the impossible here tonight.” Jenni blocks a second slap from Eliza and ducks as she throws an elbow. She shoves Eliza into the corner and drives skilled muay thai knees into her gut. Yang climbs up onto the second rope and rains down punches to the top of Eliza’s head. She pauses for a moment, looking to Wei Shen, then to the crowd in attendance. Eliza seizes the moment and shoves her away, sending Jennifer to the mat. Jared Idol: “Jennifer took a moment to gauge the reaction, and it cost her.” Bea Torres: “This crowd is HUGE, and they’re LOUD. Eliza is a tough competitor, and part of what makes her so difficult to beat is that she’s mastered that mental game. She doesn’t let the noise get in her head.” Jared Idol: “And if you let that crowd distract you for even a second like Jennifer did right there, Eliza will punish you for it.” Eliza approaches Jenni and sends a hard stomp to her knee as she stands. Jenn stumbles. Eliza delivers a second kick. She leaps up for a spinning kick to the skull of the contender, but Jennifer manages to duck it. As Eliza lands, Jenni sweeps the leg, taking Valentine to the mat. Yang is quick to mount the champion, driving more elbows to her skull. Jared Idol: “Smart strategy by Jennifer Yang!” Bea Torres: “Grind her down, keep her grounded. If Eliza gets into the air, you’re done. If Eliza catches you with her fists, you’re done. Jenni needs to keep this match at HER pace, or Valentine is going to walk out with the title.” Eliza kicks Jenni away. Yang rolls away from Eliza, but Valentine grabs her by the ankle. She pulls her in and gets on top, wrapping her arms around Jennifer’s neck in a sleeper. Jenni begins to fade as the blood flow is cut off. She reaches for the ropes, and manages to graze it gently. She lunges, seizing the bottom rope. Eliza holds on for the full four count before releasing her grip. Jenni uses the ropes to climb to her feet. Eliza approaches. Jenni sends a spinning back kick to Eliza’s gut, stopping the champion in her tracks. She quickly pulls Eliza in and drops her with a suplex. She spins her legs, picking Eliza back up, and suplexes her again. She tries it one more time. This time, Eliza drives a knee to the top of Jennifer’s head, falling back to the mat. Eliza lands on her feet and reverses, pulling Jennifer up and dropping her with a suplex, bridging for a pin. One… kickout by Jennifer Yang at one and a half. Bea Torres: “Eliza gets the first attempt of the night.” Jared Idol: “And that’s not counting the submission that Jennifer managed to escape.” Bea Torres: “She needs to regain control. This match is all about momentum.” Eliza pulls Jennifer to her feet. She goes for another suplex. Jennifer gets her leg in the way, blocking it. Rather than try to force the suplex, Valentine throws big knees up into Yang’s ribcage. She grabs Jenni by the head and drives her face-first into her knee, but Jenni manages to get her hands in the way just in time, blocking the shot. She powers out of Eliza’s hold and shoves her towards the ropes. Eliza bounces back, into a lariat from Jennifer Yang. She gets back to her feet, and Yang levels her with a clothesline again. Eliza rolls to the ropes, using them to pull herself up. Jennifer charges. Eliza drops down, pulling the rope with her and sending Yang tumbling to the outside. Jared Idol: “This is what Eliza needs. This is what Jennifer wants to avoid: Momentum slowing, momentum changing hands.” Bea Torres: “This is what Eliza is good at… hell, she may be the best in Millennium at it. She is a master at controlling the pace of a match. She’s able to take a beating in the early-going, let her opponent expend energy, and then bring the match under control before it gets out of hand.” Eliza observes as Jenni gets back to her feet. The champion charges and dives between the ropes, tackling Yang and sending them both crashing into the barricade. Both girls lie outside the ring. The referee slides out, checking on them. Eliza is the first back to her feet. She turns to spot Jenni, using the barrier to get back to a standing position. She grabs Yang’s arm, pulling her up. She whips Jenni to the steel steps. Jennifer’s shoulder hits it hard and she crumples to the concrete floor. Eliza approaches, stomping down hard on the challenger. She grabs Jenni and picks her back to her feet. She drives Yang’s head into the steel steps. Jennifer’s skull bounces off, and she rocks in place, trying to maintain her footing. Eliza seizes Jennifer’s arm, smashing it into the ringpost. Again, she grabs hold of Jenni’s head, looking at the steps yet again. Yang sends an elbow to Eliza’s gut and follows up with an elbow to the bridge of the Millennium Champion’s nose. Eliza stumbles back a few steps. She shakes her head of the pain, checking her nose for a trickle of blood. She runs at Jenni, who drops and catches the champion in a drop toehold. Eliza falls facefirst into the crowd barrier. Jenni gets back on her feet. Bea Torres: “Both women at risk of getting counted out here. The referee is up to seven!” Jared Idol: “And Yang knows it! She can’t win the belt on a countout.” Jennifer eyes the cornerpost. She climbs to the apron and up to the top rope, stopping the referee’s count. Eliza stands and, sensing danger, runs to the ring. She leaps to the apron and shakes the ropes, causing Yang to lose her balance and tumble back into the ring. Valentine paces on the apron, watching Jen. As she gets back to her feet, Eliza springboards from the top rope, taking her down with a flying clothesline! She hooks the leg for a pin. One… two… AGAIN, Jennifer Yang gets a shoulder up! Eliza grits her teeth and begins to stomp down on Jennifer Yang, until Jenni is able to grab her foot, forcing Valentine to hop on one leg. Yang kicks out Eliza’s other leg, buckling it and forcing Eliza to her knee. Jenni sits up enough to send an elbow to Eliza’s jaw. She slowly stands back up and whips Eliza to the ropes. Eliza comes back to a huge dropkick from Jenni. Eliza crawls back to a standing position, only for Jenni to dropkick her again. She pulls Eliza to her feet, lifting her for a scoop slam. Bea Torres: “Jennifer Yang getting a second wind here!” Jared Idol: “Eliza has been wrestling smart. Go for quick pinfalls, all you need is one three-count to walk out as champion. Three seconds. That’s all it takes.” Jennifer whips her to the ropes again. Eliza grabs the top rope and vaults herself over them, landing on the apron. Before she can spring back into the ring, Jennifer charges, leaping clear over the top rope, catching Eliza with a crossbody and taking both women off the apron to the concrete once more! Jenni uses the apron to get back to a kneeling position. She turns to send a hard punch to Eliza as the champion tries to stand. Jared Idol: “Fatigue is definitely setting in.” Bea Torres: “We’ve seen Eliza go through wars. We’ve seen Jennifer take on some huge challenges. This has been a marathon for both these women.” Jenni grabs Eliza by the head and rolls her back into the ring. She pauses before heading back in, clutching her gut, trying to catch her breath. The referee’s count forces her back into the ring. Eliza approaches. Jenni sends a tired kick to her gut and groans as she lifts Eliza onto her shoulder. She runs to the corner. Eliza gets her legs around Jenni’s neck, reversing it into a hurricanrana which sends Jennifer headfirst into the turnbuckle! Eliza is back on her feet. She grabs Jenni’s arm, pulling her to the center of the ring. She goes for an armbar, but Jenni grabs her hand with her free arm, preventing the hold from getting locked in. Jennifer rolls on top of Eliza, driving elbows to her skull again, busting Eliza’s nose open, and a gash above her eye to match. Eliza releases the hold. Jenni throws a big kick, but Eliza narrowly avoids it, and comes back with a quick shot to Jenni’s head, rocking the challenger. Eliza charges, diving into the air with a pele kick that sends Yang falling back into the corner. Bea Torres: “We talk a lot about momentum in this match… Eliza is getting it back!” Eliza charges in, driving a shoulder to Jennifer’s gut, sandwiching her in the corner. She holds it for a moment, both women severely out of breath. Jenni feebly tries to push Eliza away. Eliza remains with her shoulder wedged into Yang’s stomach. She grabs Jennifer’s arm. As Eliza retreats, she pulls Jenni in. Before Yang can react, she’s brought down on the top of her head. Mysterious Girl! Eliza rolls her over and goes for the pin. One… two… th- Jennifer kicks out! Bea Torres: “WHAT?” Jared Idol: “She kicked out! This match is still going!” Eliza looks at the referee, who calls the two. She shakes her head, not quite believing it herself. She returns her attention back to Yang. She reaches to pick her up. Jennifer grabs her arm, pulling her in and trying to lock a gogoplata. Eliza is trapped in the hold! Eliza kicks her legs, trying to reach the ropes, but they’re way too far! She begins to fade. Jenni cranks on Eliza’s head, trying to force the submission. Eliza grits her teeth, refusing to tap. She screams, and with an outstanding display of power, manages to pick up Jennifer off the mat and slam her back down! Jennifer’s hold weakens. Eliza lifts her again, her arm twisting in a disgusting way, but she manages a second slam, and Jennifer releases the hold! Eliza falls back, clutching her throat. Her arm, which she had used to pull Jennifer up off the mat, hangs limp at her side. She shakes her arm out, wincing. She maintains movement, but it’s clear her arm isn’t at its best after the hold. Bea Torres: “Eliza’s arm is looking bad.” Jared Idol: “She may have hyperextended it lifting Jennifer off the mat, and you have to think that’s going to be a tough challenge to fight through.” The two women approach each other slowly. Eliza charges and knees Jenn to the stomach. She grabs her with one arm, throwing her over with a snap suplex. She hooks the leg for a pin. One… two… Jennifer gets a shoulder up. Eliza grits her teeth, slamming her hands on the mat. The two get up. Jennifer gets a burst of energy, charging Eliza this time. She spears Eliza, taking her to the mat. She goes for a cover of her own. One… two… Eliza kicks out! Bea Torres: “I can’t believe these two are still going!” Jennifer picks her up to her feet, pulling her in for a piledriver. Eliza tries to send her over with a back body drop. Jennifer keeps her ground, dropping Eliza on the top of her head! Eliza rolls instinctively to the ropes, holding on for dear life. Jennifer gets back up. Eliza uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Jenni seizes Eliza’s good arm. Eliza tries to use her other to swat her away, but the Yang brushes the punches off; with Eliza’s hurt arm, her blows clearly aren’t doing as much damage. Yang goes to the ropes, springboarding off… Jared Idol: “#BEHUMBLE!” Bea Torres: “New champion! She did it! She’s got it!” The crowd chants along as the referee counts! One… two…. Thr- ELIZA KICKS OUT! Bea Torres: “HOW?” Jared Idol: “Eliza will not give up!” Bea Torres: “What does it take to put her down??” Jenni takes a deep breath, trying not to let the moment get the best of her. Outside the ring, Lauren Parker and Wei Shen look on intently. Lauren, who had spent most of the match smiling at Eliza’s skill, now looks a bit nervous, and her confidence has wavered. Wei Shen, often brimming with confidence himself, looks on nervously, wondering if Jennifer has what it takes to put this match away. Both women lie on their backs. Jenni pushes herself up to her knees, looking down at Eliza. The champions chest rises and falls with deep breaths. Slowly, she sits up. Jenni sends a stiff punch that sends Eliza back down. Like a bobo doll, Eliza pops right back up, hitting Jennifer with a shot of her own. Jenni fires back, but Eliza blocks it, and drives an elbow with her good arm. She slowly gets back to her feet, sending a series of punches that drives Jenni to the ropes. She whips Jenni across the ring. Jenni hits the ropes. Eliza runs in for a clothesline… Yang ducks it! She hits the opposite ropes, coming back with a flying forearm that takes Valentine off her feet! Eliza scrambles back to her feet. Jenni comes in with a flurry of Wing Chun punches, following with a stiff knee that doubles Eliza over… and there’s the kick! #LOCKDOWN! Eliza drops like a sack of bricks! Jennifer rolls her over hooking the leg! One… two… ANOTHER KICKOUT! Jared Idol: “I don’t think Jennifer Yang can believe it!” Bea Torres: “JENNIFER CAN’T BELIEVE IT, I CAN’T BELIEVE IT, THIS CROWD CAN’T BELIEVE IT!” Wei Shen looks completely stunned at ringside. Lauren has visible lines in her face where her nails had dug into her skin just a moment before. Eliza looks dazed for a moment, as though she herself isn’t sure how she just kicked out. Jennifer takes another deep breath, trying to compose herself and get oxygen flowing. She picks Eliza up off the mat. Again, she throws her to the ropes. Eliza stops, grabbing Jennifer’s arm. She pulls her in and drops her with a SECOND Mysterious Girl! The crowd erupts! Bea Torres: “Oh no…” Jared Idol: “Three seconds.” One... Two… Shoulder up. The Enterprise Arena explodes as Eliza and Lauren both shriek. Eliza furiously punches the canvas. Wei Shen stands, hands covering his mouth. Eliza picks her up off the mat. Jenni stumbles away, clinging to the ropes. She retreats to the corner, trying to get some feeling back in her limbs, gain the energy she needs to continue. Eliza steps in. Jenni sends a kick to her stomach, sending her back. Eliza shakes it off, coming back in for the attack. Jenni climbs up to the middle rope, trying to escape, put any sort of distance between herself and the champion. Eliza steps onto the first rope. Jenni retreats to the third. Eliza follows her up. The two balance precariously on the top rope. Jennifer sends a stiff shot to Eliza’s skull. Eliza rocks, but keeps her balance. She sends an elbow to Jennifer. Jenni holds tight. Eliza pulls her in, hooking the head. Jared Idol: “She’s not thinking Mysterious Girl AGAIN, is she…?” Jenni senses it, and with a burst of energy, shoves Eliza back, sending the champion crashing to the mat. Jennifer stands up on the top rope, measuring her opponent. She dives, landing a perfect moonsault… but Eliza moves! Jennifer telegraphs it though, completing her turn and landing on her feet behind Eliza! Valentine turns, and Jennifer grabs the wrist, retreating to the ropes for another springboard… no! Eliza twists the wrist, pulling Jennifer in for the Mysterious Girl… another reversal! Jennifer slips her head out, twisting Eliza’s arm again. She springboards… #BEHUMBLE CONNECTS! Jennifer hooks both legs, screaming. One… two… three! WINNER: Jennifer Yang -- NEW Millennium Champion BY: Pinfall, 21:25 |
Bea Torres: “SHE DID IT!! OHMYGODHOLYSHIT SHE DID IT! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!”
Jared Idol: “March 7th. One hundred and Fifty-Seven Days ago was the last time we saw that title change hands… and now it’s over.”
Bea Torres: “REIGN IN THE YEAR OF THE YANG.”
Jared Idol: “Eliza Valentine, Jennifer Yang… these two gave it everything they had and more, and in the end… we have a NEW Millennium Champion!”
Confetti explodes from the rafters. Wei Shen slides into the ring, hugging Jennifer tight as the new champion is handed her title. Jennifer clutches it close, staring at it with tears in her eyes. At the side, Lauren Parker checks on her client, monitoring the arm closely, which Eliza cradles, clearly in pain. Jennifer looks over at Eliza, catching her eye. Eliza makes no effort to approach her, but that doesn’t stop Jennifer from giving a respectful bow to the former champion. She goes to the corner, lifting it high for all to see. The Enterprise Arena erupts once more. The show fades to the sight of Jennifer Yang and Wei Shen… the NEW Millennium Champion.
